Let's do this! Thank you so much for tuning into today's story. Don't forget to rate and follow so you never miss out on all the Ryers' readers fun.
Before we get into the story, do you want to know a fun fact?
Did you know that jumping on a trampoline can actually be good for your body, especially your bones?
Regular bouncing on a trampoline increases bone density and strength.
It also helps maintain bone mass in older adults, which helps prevent osteoporosis.
Pretty cool, huh?
So, I guess more trips to the trampoline park?
Okay, story time.
In our last episode, we heard from Ellie on Ryer's Recess.
So today, I thought it would be fun to read.
Ellie, a unicorn needs your help.
One sunny summer morning,
Ellie was playing in her garden.
Suddenly, she heard sniffling and crying
coming from behind a leafy tree.
Ellie tiptoed closer and closer to the whimpering.
When she peeked around the tree,
Ellie was shocked to see a little white and purple,
sad-looking unicorn.
Hello, my name is Ellie.
What's your name and why are you crying?
She asked the unicorn.
I'm Sparkle, and I've lost all the magic colors on my rainbow horn from giving out too many wishes, said the unicorn.
That's terrible! exclaimed Ellie.
How can I help you get your magic back? said Sparkle.
As I become happier, colors.
returns to my horn, and when I have all seven colors, my magic powers are restored, and I can give out
wishes again. Lee had a think. And a wonder, and a ponder. What could she do? Got it, shrieked Ellie.
We need to do things that will bring back Sparkle Sparkle. So they tried playing a game of hide-and-seek.
Sparkle wasn't very good, but she enjoyed the game so much.
The first rainbow color returned to her horn, Ruby Red.
Then they sat on squishy bean bags, drinking hot chocolate and eating rainbow-colored marshmallows.
This made Sparkle very happy.
With a slurp of her hot chocolate, brilliant orange flashed up on her horn.
I know what you need now, said Ellie.
A pamper day!
So they wrapped up in fluffy robes, had their nails painted, and were so thoroughly pampered, that sunny yellow pinged on Sarkel's horn.
Next up, on their fun-filled mission was bouncing up and down doing somersaults on Ellie's trampoline.
They were having so much fun that.
Sparkle's emerald green band reappeared on her horn.
Hungry from so much bouncing, the two friends went inside to make unicorn-shaped cupcakes.
There was flour and eggs everywhere when the color sky blue appeared on Sparkle's horn.
There were only two more colors to go, and Sparkle was feeling so much happier.
But what could they do to get the last?
too. Aha! exclaimed Ellie, as she remembered the fun fair had just come to town.
They zipped up and down, whizzed round and round, and the last loop-de-loop sparkle squeaked with such delight.
A bright indigo band appeared. There was just one more color to go.
Exhausted from all the fun, the two friends settled down to a magical film
and some popcorn. Sparkle was so happy that bold violet, the very last rainbow color, popped back
onto her horn. That's it! Thank you, Ellie, laughed Sparkle. You have made me so happy that all of the
magical rainbow colors have reappeared and I can grant wishes again. Now, what wish would you like? asked Sparkle.
Oh, I wish, wish I could see Unicorn Kingdom, Ellie said hopefully.
With a zing and a zap and a whiz and a whirl, Ellie and Sparkle soared up, up, up through the wondrous rainbow.
Then, in a flash of twinkling pink light, Ellie couldn't believe her eyes.
She was really there, and all because she had helped a unicorn have oodles of fun.
The end.
Don't forget to stick around to see if you can answer today's paying attention question.
Before you go, do you think you can answer today's paying attention question?
Ellie and Sparkle baked some yummy treats together.
What did they bake?
If your answer was unicorn-shaped cupcakes,
You did it! Great job!
You sure were paying attention.
I hope you enjoyed that story.
I wonder what we're going to read next.
