Let's do this! Thank you so much for tuning into today's story. Don't forget to rate and follow, so you never miss out on all the Ryers' readers fun.
Before we get into the story, do you want to know a fun fact?
Did you know that puppies can be born green?
The green color doesn't last for long. It usually disappears after a few weeks, but veterinarians
think that it happens when a green fluid is in the mommy dog's belly while the puppy is growing.
Pretty cool, huh? Okay, story time. Today, we have a very special Ryer's Reader's request from five
and a half-year-old Banks in San Diego, California, USA. Banks requested to hear Love Monster by Rachel
bright. I hope you enjoy this story, Banks, let's do this.
This is a monster. Hello, Monster. I think you'll agree. He's a little bit funny looking
to say the least. He lives in a world of cute, fluffy things, which makes being funny
looking pretty darn hard. You might have noticed that everybody loves kittens and puppies,
and bunnies, you know, cute fluffy things.
But nobody loves a slightly hairy, I suppose a bit googly-eyed monster.
This might be enough to make a monster feel, well, a bit down in the dumps.
But not being the moping-around sort, he decided to set out and look for someone who'd love him just the way he was.
He looked high, he looked low, he looked middle-ish, he looked inside and outside.
For than once, he thought that maybe, just maybe, he'd find what he was looking for.
But, as it turned out, things were never quite as they seemed.
Yes, it would be fair to say that his search did not go well.
And then it didn't go well some more.
It didn't go well for such a long time, in fact, that it began to get dark and scary and, well, not very nice.
So the monster, having lost all his oomph, decided it was time to give up and go home.
Blink of a googly eye, everything changed.
You see, sometimes.
When you least expect it, love finds you.
The end.
Don't forget to stick around to see if you can answer today's paying attention question.
For you go, do you think you can answer today's paying attention question?
What kind of eyes did the monster have?
If your answer was, googly eyes, you do you do you do.
You did it! Great job! You sure were paying attention. I hope you enjoyed that story. I wonder what we're going to read next. Bye, Banks!
