The following podcast is a Dear Media production.
Welcome to For the Real Bodybuilders, a podcast where we get super real about all the overlooked
moments when it comes to women's health.
And I'm going to ask some of the questions that you were a little too afraid to ask.
I'm your host, Kat Schneider.
I'm a mom of three girls and the founder and CEO of Ritual.
Ritual is a women's health company that's working to set a totally new standard in the supplement industry
with traceable science and traceable sourcing.
In this series, I'll be sitting down with leading experts and friends
and we'll be diving into topics that affect us all,
from periods to fertility to postpartum and even perimenopause.
So let's be a little provocative, a little TMI,
and have exactly the kind of conversation we all need right now.
Let's get into it.
From Vanderpump rules to motherhood and everywhere in between. Warm up the kettle, it's time to spill some tea.
Let's get into some shenanigans with Sheena Shay. Because we're good as gold. Because we're good as gold. Because we're good as gold.
Because we're good as gold.
Because we're good as gold.
Because we're good as gold.
Because we're good as gold.
Alrighty.
I'm into the couch with all the balls.
Hey honey. All the comfort pillows.
Yeah? Do you like it? Yes.
Good. Welcome back to the hot seat.
It's a new hot seat in a new studio.
What do you think?
I'm into it.
I'm into it.
Like I said, I got the support pillows here.
Hold on tight.
Your therapy pillow.
My therapy pillow.
Like when I have like Penny,
when we're doing couple therapy,
I have my therapy cat.
Is that what that was?
Yeah.
Makes sense.
Therapy cat.
And you're like, she needs to get out of here.
And I'm like, no, it's therapy cat.
Just pet them and, you know?
Anyway, we're here for another week of
shenanigans. I feel like you haven't been here in a while and you're still
recovering from the weekend. I am still buzzed from the weekend. I've got the
Coachella cough. I'm feeling good. It was a great weekend. We made a lot of
memories with our friends. We went on some adventures.
Some went to plan.
Some definitely did not go to plan,
but it was all a part of the adventure.
It was, it was a really good time.
Who was your favorite that you saw?
Gaga.
I was there for Friday and it kind of like
set the standard for the whole.
And for a minute I was just like, cool, it's Lady Gaga.
And then you just, I realized everyone was just watching.
And then the show she put on,
just herself was just unbelievable.
Every song was another headline caption,
like, oh, I wanna, you know,
retweet this weekend. I have so many captions.
Boom, boom, boom, boom.
It was great.
No, it was absolutely incredible.
And I mean, despite what she said, you know,
on the lie detector test and going to SNL
and seeing her recently, it would have been just as iconic of a show if like I hadn't seen her in 10 years and I just went, you know?
But just watching her up there being like,
she's a fan of me and like I just saw her at SNL, like it was just, it was running through my mind like so insanely
because I'm watching this fricking icon up there
just put on the most incredible show, Not Miss a Beat.
She's buried in sand with skeletons all around her singing.
It was amazing.
I don't even know if we did it justice,
just recapping it then.
It was just, she didn't hit a beat, you're right.
And then she got on the drums.
Didn't miss a beat.
She got on the drums.
She hit all the beats.
Yeah, Coachella brain as well.
We're a little behind here.
The drums.
She got on the drums and she got on the guitar.
And then her dance.
And listen, who did we watch?
It was like, how do you follow that?
Unfortunately, we had like Charlie XDX.
That was before.
No, that was on Saturday.
Or yeah, whatever.
It was before the headliner.
Clearly we were like, oh, well.
And then Post came out, crushed it. Yes, whatever. It was before the headliner. Clearly we were like, oh, well.
And then Post came out, crushed it.
Yes. Sunday.
It was good.
I can't remember the last time.
I don't, honestly, I don't think I ever have
that I've stayed on night one till the very end.
Like until they're like, you know, get out.
You can leave.
Which we did on night three as well.
We're like, we have nowhere else to go.
We usually don't make it to day three.
I think we did.
Yeah, day three is built for champions,
but it was worth it because we have our most fun then
because everyone else left.
It was just me and you.
So we didn't have to worry about trying to get a whole group
from point A to point B and who was doing what,
which is like a science, by the way,
for everyone that plans Coachella.
We have it to a science.
I think we've got it.
We figured it out by day three.
Listen, we say that now.
But we did.
We got home straight away.
Yeah, we didn't have a flat tire.
We didn't run out of batteries.
No.
It was good.
You didn't try to kill me going opposite way on the street with that logic.
It was just basic logic,
what was easier to get this bike home?
So everyone at home listening,
we were on our friend's electric bike.
We thought, you know what?
Cars are always a trouble.
It's expensive to get a private car to get out of there.
Everyone knows getting out of there is an issue.
Then you got the Uber problem.
That's why you always leave early.
You leave before the last song.
Leave before the last song is generally the rule.
So we thought maybe we'll cheat the system.
Our buddy was like, last year we did push bikes, thinking it would be great.
Get on the bike. We'll ride into Coachella.
We'll be those cool kids.
We park up the bike.
And then we had to get home.
First off, getting there, the mushrooms kicked in.
And so that was already a mission on itself.
And then getting back, we just looked at the bikes and we were just not into this. And it wasn't just one person on a bike. It was two people per bike. So the person pedaling
just took it on as a challenge. So that was, that was last year. So this year, our good friend,
Will, was like, guys, I've got a surprise. We got electric bikes. And so that was the game changer.
We're like, let's do it. So there's four normal bicycles and one motocross, really cool looking smaller bike that has really fat wheels.
So it looks like a motocross bike, but it's one gear chain pedal bike.
That's it.
So we go there.
Not a problem.
We think we figured the system out.
And I'm with my Ironman.
So, you know, regardless of I'm not doing motocross.
Okay.
So when we get out of the festival, we walk over to the electric bikes, we start going, and I say my famous last words.
I think we've got this sorted.
We figured it out.
We figured it out, guys.
Literally, you could count to 10 seconds.
Everyone's moving, and my bike just goes, nooo.
And we ran out of batteries.
So there's me on a clown bike with my wife on my back
going, oh, my seat hurts.
And I'm pedaling.
And I'm like, come on Iron Man, you've got this.
Long story short, now you understand the scenario.
We're heading home.
I believe driving into traffic is safer
than driving with traffic coming from behind you
so you can see what's going on in front of you.
So you can see yourself die as the car takes you out
when they just are looking at their phone
or drunk driving and veered to the side and.
I understand that thought logic too.
Both are valid.
But then it came to a crossroad where
I either had to go on the curb and go on the horse track.
God forbid.
Horse track, so dirt, loose gravel, horse track.
Or stay in the bike lane going towards traffic or what I
realized halfway through, across the street and go on the footpath that's concrete.
We got there in the end.
It was getting there was the journey.
Long story short, day three, we figured it out.
That's the moral of the story, baby.
We did. And we stayed till the very end.
I haven't done day three since we've had summer.
We always leave early, but I wasn't gonna miss Post Malone.
And so we stayed until the fireworks, until the very end.
Had a moment where we just, the two of us,
sat on the grass, ate some Prince Street pizza.
The hot honey.
Guys want an ad?
Run it here all day.
That was a great piece of pizza.
So good.
And then security was like,
you guys gotta start making your way out. I was like great piece of pizza. So good. And then security was like, you guys got to start making your way out.
I was like, wow, I've never stayed to the end of Coachella.
We got asked to leave Coachella day three.
Wow. We're those rats.
But we did, honey, in our wedding vows,
make a vow to never miss a festival.
And we've stayed true to those vows.
I think for me, we saw that sign, right,
when we went to the Zinnyarov event.
It said, this is therapy.
Wait, it did?
It said something else is therapy.
But like, festivals equal free therapy.
Yes.
Oh, I do remember that.
I might have taken a video of it.
It said drugs, by the way.
Oh, OK.
Drugs equal free therapy.
Maybe I didn't take a video of that.
But you and I, we really bonded for the first time
at a music festival at Cabo.
Yeah, we met at Cabo.
I talk about this in the book.
Also, I saw some comments about my caption.
I said, last Coachella of my 30s.
And someone commented that I'm too old to be going to Coachella.
I was like, oh my God, I didn't know there was an age limit.
Like someone tell me next time.
We're gonna be that couple that rocks up.
I'm laying a mat down and I'm busting out my recliner chair
and I'm gonna sit there and enjoy Coachella.
And I cannot wait for your young asses to look at me
and me just take a seat when I need to take a seat.
Yeah.
I mean, I could say there's maybe an age
where you're too old to wear certain things to a festival.
But festivals are music.
It's a concert.
You're never too old to be a musician
or to attend any concert, in my eyes.
Yeah.
That's one beautiful industry where you can be any age,
just like actors.
You're always going to need someone to play the old guy.
You know?
The only way I used to go to Coachella
was when my buddies were leaving. They'd all be like, oh, we're leaving. to need someone to play the old guy. You know, the only way I used to go to Coachella was when my buddies were leaving.
They had all been like, oh, we're leaving. I'll take your wristband.
I was that friend for like multiple years is trying to like go to Coachella.
And then now obviously to be lucky enough to be able to go to Coachella and have that.
It's the way that we do.
And also the relationships we meet.
So the greatest.
So I remember watching Tiesto at Coachella probably from like the back next to the
porta potties and then over our amazing life over the last couple of years, we've
met, got to meet him and then we finally got to meet his wife.
And it was a random Sunday event.
We had no idea.
She's like, oh, Tiesto is on the schedule.
Texted us to his manager.
I had an idea. You had no idea.
Said hi. Yeah.
Two hour ideas. Great. It was magical. We saw the Ferris You had no idea. Said hi. Said hi. Yeah, two hour ideas.
Great.
It was magical.
We saw the Ferris wheel, the Rambo Tower.
It was beautiful.
And I loved that we had Maddie and Joe
from Southern Hospitality with us
at the exact moment that we got to bring them up to the,
I don't even know how to say that stage.
Quesar, quasar.
It's the new stage.
I don't know.
I don't think it's a new stage.
It's the pop-up thing was new.
It came last year.
Okay.
But it was such perfect timing that we were with them and we got to take them up to the
DJ booth with us.
Maddie got to meet and got to watch him.
And I looked at her and I just said, Maddie, this is your future.
Because I really think that she is just going to keep taking off with her DJ career
I think I think she's very fortunate because Bravo has a lot of good fans that support people's talents and
Ambitions and and you know so good on her and I'm glad you got to have that experience. Yeah anyway
Well, I do have some more Coachella stories
I want to get into but first the, The Valley season two premiered last night
and that was a wild episode.
There's a lot to unpack there.
We are going to take a quick little break
and then get into it.
All right, y'all, I have to talk to you
about my daughter's wardrobe that she has been in.
Obviously she's going up sizes every year, but that she has been in. Obviously she's going up sizes every year,
but that she has been in since she was like a year old.
And that is this brand called Riley and Crew.
They have so many adorable matching sets.
And if you know me, you know I love a matching set.
The Riley and Crew collective combines art and imagination.
They offer unique clothing for modern children and moms,
like myself.
Each collection features hand-drawn illustrations.
They're so unique.
They don't look like screen printed.
They are absolutely adorable,
paired with beautiful muted tones and timeless designs.
Riley and CREW is more than just a clothing brand as well, okay?
It's a one-stop shop that caters to you and your children
at every stage of life.
Like I'm telling you, we have moved from the one to two years,
two to three, three to four, four to five.
I just can't get enough of this brand.
So whether it's welcoming the newest member
of your family in Quincy May,
dressing your child in Riley and Crew
for their first day of school,
or celebrating special occasions in a Norley dress,
they have an outfit for every occasion.
Also, I wanna point out that Riley and Crew
has matching swimwear for the entire family.
They've got so many cute things.
You should definitely check it out.

Okay, so I had a bunch of packages piled up
at the door the other day, and it's a bad habit of mine.
I let them pile up until I can't anymore,
and I was like, okay, I gotta open them.
So I'm cutting this box open,
and I'm like, why does it smell so good?
It's a box, it's a package, you know?
And that's because it was my laundry sauce package.
Y'all, this is gonna take your laundry to the next level.
I'm telling you, I've never had dryer sheets smell so good.
And I know for most people,
laundry day is the day we kind of dread, but now I'm actually
excited to do it myself. And you know why? That's because I have these new Egyptian Rose laundry
detergent pods from Laundry Sauce and the most amazing smelling dryer sheets. These powerful pods
are packed with bioenzymes that wipe out stains, all while leaving your
clothes with a luxurious, long-lasting scent.
It feels like you're at a spa, but you're in your laundry room?
I mean, it's incredible.
And as the scent settles, it gets even better.
Vanilla bourbon and velvety musk, whereas they have this other Haitian vetiver and Virginia cedarwood that
add a rich and sophisticated touch.
You know us here in the Valley love things sophisticated.

Please support our show and tell them we sent you.
It's time to make laundry day the best day of the week.
All right, so back on TV, not us yet,
but the Valley is back on air.
Actually, we were on TV because we did the after show,
which is on Peacock and also on bravotv.com.
And those, I just want to point out, are filmed,
it was just a couple weeks ago.
We have not seen any of the episodes.
It's the same as when we go in and film our interviews,
like the confessionals,
where they ask you a question and you talk about it.
So it's an after show that airs after the show has aired yet.
We haven't seen it.
So we don't know the edit or how anything is going to look,
how the storylines are being played out.
And I also just want to point out,
we're not going to be doing a Valley Recap podcast each week,
but it was the first episode.
There were a few things, you know, that I want to discuss.
So what did you think of the episode overall?
Because I know you had a little bit of mixed feelings.
Well, OK.
Personally, I think our friend groups are all crazy.
And I understand why we have TV.
I understand why there's a TV show based around it.
We're all asked to kind of like express ourselves.
I just always struggle with kind of having that, you know, it's hard to explain, but
honestly, it's it's rough to feel because this is real.
Like those are our friend groups and going into filming like it's high risk.
There's marriages on the line.
Like it's real stakes.
There's kids.
There's there's futures like there's there's a whole there's so it's so stakes. There's kids. There's futures. Like there's a whole, it's so risk, not adverse.
It's just risky to be in this friend group
because you just gotta eat it, you know?
And people can say whatever they want to say.
And it could be a lie from Jax or it could be a lie
from somebody and then all of a sudden it becomes
like a narrative because so many people can understand it.
So it's a lot to take in and sit back and watch.
I mean, speaking of Jax, that's one of the things
I wanted to talk about with him,
getting the timeline wrong about Brittany and Julian,
you know, going back on, I think,
I don't want to know if it was Cruz's iPad, but whatever,
the iPad that they had in the house,
that he goes back and looks, you know, I mean, same as Summer's iPad is my iCloud, you know, so I'm sure there's things of mine that sync with her iPad.
Go ahead and look through it. There's nothing there.
But I think when he was looking at it and he saw stuff, he thought that that was like last night, you know, and for him to think that they were going to get back
together because they had some good moments of co-parenting,
I'm sure as Brittany is in this cycle with him, you know,
there probably were moments where she was like,
for Cruz, let me see if we can make it work.
Of course, I think that any parents,
no matter what they're going through, you do want to try to keep your family together until, you know, sometimes you can't.
And so, for Jax to kind of hang on to that false hope, but then to also be like, you know,
essentially she's cheating on me when we're trying to get back together.
No, bro. First of all, the only person wrong in that situation is your friend.
Okay? So, call your boy who slept with your girl.
Britney's not wrong. She can sleep with anyone.
And I did love what Kristen said on the after show where she's like...
If he had a brother, I would sleep with him.
I would have too.
Oh my god.
You do have brothers, but there are no...
You guys are savages.
But no, that's like...
Literally, it's one thing I talk about in my book a couple different times of how I've gone into like a revenge mode before.
And so when Kristen said that, I was like, yes, girl, if he did have a brother, then.
What was he lying about? Because Brittany said like, he's lied 31 times in that podcast.
I'm not around the guy that much. I don't, you know, to understand what, all I know is the guy can talk
and make everything seem like he is,
he's in the middle of it and he's like.
Well, he's very good at manipulating the narrative
on reality TV.
He's been doing this for a very long time.
He had so much time off to just fester into,
how can I do this again and just be Jax, you know?
And the thing is, I mean, you have the whole cast saying that
Britney's not a liar.
We all believe Britney.
And if Britney's saying this is the timeline, then that was the timeline.
No one's ever going to believe Jax over Britney.
We get into the right point.
I think Britney slowly kind of defined that space, find out those boundaries and set them a
little more firmer. And when that happens you're gonna start seeing Jax
probably spiral a little bit more or try a little bit more. But hopefully
understands that they both can move through this. Yeah. I don't know
enough. I'm here for Brittany. I'm supporting everything she does because I
know I've read the text messages that Jack sends.
I'm not a fan of any of it.
It's so bad, you know.
I also feel sorry for the guy.
I feel sorry for the way he was raised as an adult.
I understand that what happens.
He wasn't raised as an adult, honey.
Well, let me explain this.
I understand how like, okay, everyone has their home stuff.
When we grow up as an adult, it's our job to not carry that through.
Yeah.
But the guy's perspective of reality is so skewed.
He was running around at 18, 19 as a model
around everywhere, around America, being a model.
And all of a sudden he gets put on a show
where everyone loves him and supports his behavior
because it's great for TV and he makes,
he's a great for TV.
So now he's, that's, and then all of a sudden
his boys chat that these boys all stroke over.
It absolutely is just everyone stroking each other off
and like, oh yeah, yeah, you got it, bro.
Just support like, there's no rebuttal.
There's no like, hey Jack, should you do that?
There's nobody in his corner saying, hey, Jacks,
I think that could be a bad idea.
Jason, that's a lie.
Jason is the one person in his corner telling him
you shouldn't do that.
I'm talking about from the ages of 19.
Jason's also not in the group chat. I'm talking about from the ages of 19. Jason's also not in the group chat.
I'm talking about exactly 19 to today.
Correct.
Who does he have around him that is supporting him?
His boys around him are just enjoying the free ride
and then sleeping with his picking up his scraps.
The Toms have called him out often too though in that adult time of life that you're speaking of.
But Jax doesn't take advice from those guys.
He takes advice from his group of his man chats.
What was it that made you leave the boys chat?
Just the fact that I'm in a boys chat.
I don't need to be in any group chat with people.
You're in a lot of group chats.
So what made you leave this one?
Because I think it was always as often,
you know what it was?
It was all these memes about how like husbands
are miserable for their wives.
And I'm like, why are you like,
if you're so miserable in your life, figure it out, bro.
Don't just send memes to each other and be like,
did I, bro?
Like, oh my God, this is so, I'm like, that's a problem.
Yeah.
Maybe figure that one out.
We all understand that like our wives are always right.
Like this is the bro code.
Wait, say that again on the record, please.
The wives are always right. Remember that.
We gotta try and keep the wife happy,
and then you know what, if we want a boys night out,
you just have to pay your dues.
You gotta give her like three or four girls nights out
before you can bank that one in.
I would prefer three or four massages over girls nights.
Perfect.
I'll book them.
On the record.
You'll book them?
Oh!
But see, the thing with Jax is I'm like, I'm gonna book him. But see, the thing with Jax is I feel like he like gaslights,
not just like Brittany and our friend group,
but the entire world, you know?
It's like he goes on his podcast, in his interview bites,
he's always saying all of these things,
like he's in therapy, he's working on himself,
he wants the best for Brittany.
He wants Brittany to find a love and someone who can give her the love that he couldn't.
And he says all of these things in a very convincing way.
I think at times, you know, he sounds calm and like introspective.
And at the same time, it's like, but he's done all of these bad things.
And then I think about Jackson, Jesse, and I'm like, Jesse does this shit too.
That apology to Kristen, like, come on, he looked so calm, so put together.
You're just going to get me in trouble with the boy group.
I'm telling you, though, I've seen firsthand, Jesse be such a gentleman to me.
So kind, so apologetic.
And then I've watched that switch in his eyes.
I can never forget that look.
He's got a look.
I will never forget it.
And I was like, there you are.
That's the real you.
Like it comes out.
Well, I think it also came out on that episode
where he just like literally said like,
I'm just going to get a rise out of her. It just really shows kind of where that is as well.
And I just hate also seeing Brittany get any hate. People saying like, oh, like you cheated,
Michelle, you cheated. Like you guys don't know the story. Do you know the story with Michelle?
And the timeline? Of course I know the story.
Watch the show and you'll find out too.
Oh, okay.
I guess I missed that one.
She's one of my closest friends.
Yes, I do know.
But do they talk about it this season?
It gets brought up, yes.
Okay, cool.
I'll tune in.
Yes.
So all of that will come out, but it's like Jack saying things, how like Brittany wanted
to have another kid with him last year.
I understand.
But he's using it in a way where it's like, well, things were so bad.
Why did she want to have another kid with me this night?
And I'm like, I think she wanted a family.
I didn't think she just wanted a kid with you, buddy.
She just wanted that family.
She's always wanted more than one kid.
And I think it was maybe one of those moments where it's like,
you know, you have a kid and it'll fix things. Like maybe one more kid will make things
in their home life better.
Like, I don't know.
I think that she did everything in her power she could
to make that relationship work.
We saw that.
Until she couldn't do it anymore.
I think it's the best situation where they're at now,
which is not together.
And I think it's the best situation
for everybody, including Cruz. And I think it's the best situation for everybody, including Cruz.
And I hope that they can figure out
how to co-parent together,
because co-parenting is the next big one.
Yeah, definitely.
But I just hope that throughout the season,
the audience is made fully aware of what happened,
and it isn't just swept under the rug.
Well then if they don't, then we can just have another podcast and you can tell me
what I'm missing because I'm missing it.
Apparently. Yeah.
I just have seen some comments saying that the hype built around this past year
was like overblown and it, it's definitely overblown.
Wait till you see this summer.
Yeah. But also brought up on the after show was more about Julian and you know, Brittany's
fling with him and how that affected Lala. Did you watch that part when Lala got emotional?
Yes.
So she said that it brought her back to a weird place like when she was with Randall and walked
in a room and everyone knew things that she didn't know. And I hate that it made her feel that way.
I had a feeling it would make her feel that way.
And I was stuck between a rock and a hard place.
I felt so, you know, happy for Britney that she was finally getting some, but not
with this person, but then also I'm like, I don't want to have to like hide this
from Lala and I did not want to find out this information.
Yeah. But as soon as you found out, you told her you needed to tell Lala.
Yeah. And then she goes, I will.
And then she did it.
And then a couple of days went by.
I remember this because I was like, this is a really fucked up situation for Lala.
You can't be doing this.
Yeah. And then I don't know how long it transpired since then.
Again, I removed myself from those conversations.
Yeah. And then then I remember asking, did long it transpired since then. Again, I removed myself from those conversations. Yeah.
And then I remember asking, did you tell her yet or not?
You said no.
And I told her that we're going to tell LaLa tomorrow when we see her.
Yeah.
And then she found out that night.
Yes.
Because we were all in Vegas together.
It was my birthday last year.
We went to Thunder from Down Under.
We did the drag brunch and all of this stuff.
And I remember getting back from Thunder
and we're in the hotel room.
And I'm like, Brittany, you got it.
Like, we're in a little private space.
It's just her best friend.
It's just the four of us.
Like, and she was just like, and I'm like,
I know she was afraid to tell her, of course.
Brittany never wants to upset anyone.
And obviously, she hid it for so long
because she probably knew it might upset her.
But it was never about Julian.
It wasn't about the guy.
Lala is like, ew, you know?
Like she would have told Brittany right off the bat,
like get your D, but like he's a terrible person.
And so I just felt like after that trip, I was like, yo,
Lala's coming over for a play date tomorrow.
Like, you got to tell her or I have to.
Like, I can't keep this in anymore.
And she's like, OK, I promise.
Like, I'll tell her tonight. I'll tell her tomorrow.
Like, I'll tell her before.
And it just so happened that that day Lala was getting her hair done.
And she had mentioned this in the after show
that she was saying like, oh, like Brittany needs to get somewhere.
I don't think Brittany's hooking up with anyone.
And he was like, oh, yeah, she is.
There's this like guy in the friend group or whatever.
And Lala just immediately said she knew who it was because they have the same
type and so then she found out the day before. Like, and I'm like, but then when she asked me, did you know, I wasn't going to lie.
And I was like, yes, I found out more recently.
I told Brittany to tell you in Vegas when that didn't happen.
I was like, you need to tell her by tomorrow or I'm going to.
But then she found out that day.
But it wasn't because Brittany told her then they had to have the conversation after
But they had it was a good conversation
I remember having that conversation and then they were kind of realized like
If she would have told la la she would have realized a lot of the sooner
Maybe avoided a lot of this arguing and situation right, but I felt like it also took
Janet and I coming in as mediators and having Brittany and Lala
come over, the four of us sitting on the couch.
And that wouldn't have helped anyway because she found out.
It was coming out.
No, but after she found out, we had to have that conversation.
That's when we had the conversation.
And I made a joke that the blank camera in the corner, I was like, just so you know,
that's recording everything.
I mean, and they love that joke.
I do. It's funny. It's a funny joke. Well, the outside cameras do that's recording everything. And they love it. You love that joke. I do, it's funny.
You love that joke.
It's a funny joke.
Well, the outside cameras do record sound and everything.
I have no idea how to pull it off.
There was one night you and Jason
were sitting out there for a while.
Until Janet, I go, do we want to spy on the boys?
Do we want to see what they're talking about?
What were we talking about?
It was so boring.
It was something really boring. And I was like, good boys.
We don't. Yeah. Listen, like gossiping, the group is good at it. And I struggle with it
because I just lose interest or I realize like, all right, well, this is stupid.
We're going to figure this out later on. Just Apollo. Yeah, whatever. I'm going to get better
at it. Okay. There's a couple other things I want to discuss, and then I want to go back to Coachella and Brock the Builder,
but we're gonna take one more quick little break and be right back.
All right, are you looking for something absolutely delicious to drink? Because if so, then Simply Pop is for you.
This is a new
Fruit Forward Bevy of prebiotic sodas made with six grams of prebiotic fiber
to support gut health and vitamin C and zinc to support immune function.
And Simply Pop contains the same real fruit flavors you know and love and no added sugar,
which makes for a soda that even a juice would drink.
Now, my personal favorite flavor is pineapple mango.
Anything pineapple and mango, like, please give it to me.
I also love strawberry,
but there's just something about the pineapple mango
that just does it for me.
It's a juicy prebiotic soda.
Say that with me.
A juicy prebiotic soda. Doesn't that sound so
delish? Well it is, okay. I still can't get over the fact that it has no sugar
added. It's like you can't beat that when you're getting this incredible flavor.
When you add the six grams of prebiotic fiber to support gut health, like come on.
Okay, that's incredible. Paired with zinc and vitamin C to support immune health,
I mean, you can't beat this.
Sip on the juicy side of life.

You guys have heard me talk about my OCD often on this podcast, and that's because when I
had my baby, I expected to feel overwhelmed, exhausted, even a little anxious.
I knew I was going to feel all of those things, but I didn't expect the terrifying thoughts
that took over my mind. These intrusive thoughts are still here daily, but it has gotten a little better.
I was struggling with postpartum OCD and like so many others with OCD, I had no idea.
And I just felt alone, confused, scared, all of the things that is until I opened up about it.
And that's why I want to get one thing straight. OCD is not just about liking things clean or in order.
It's a serious condition that can make you question
everything about yourself, drain your energy,
and take over your life with fear.
And that's exactly what OCD did to me.
And that's exactly what it's doing right now
to thousands of people.
But many of them have no idea what they're struggling with
because OCD is so misunderstood.
It causes people to get stuck in a cycle
of stressful, unwanted thoughts,
which are called intrusive thoughts.
You guys hear me talk about them
all of the time on the podcast,
but also repetitive behaviors that people do
in an attempt to make the fear, doubt, or anxiety
from all of those intrusive thoughts go away, even though the relief never truly lasts.
And that's why I want to tell you about NoCD.
With NoCD, you can do virtual therapy with a licensed therapist who specializes in treating
OCD.
They really understand so you can feel safe opening up to them about what you're going
through and they know how to help you take your life back. NoCD therapists are trained in a type of therapy called ERP,
which is exposure and response prevention.
It is the most effective treatment for OCD,
definitely has been for me.
And NoCD makes it affordable with insurance coverage
for over 155 million Americans.
They also provide support between therapy sessions
so you're never alone.
I know what it's like to suffer from OCD and silence
and how hard it can be,
but I also know that with the right care,
you can get to a place where those distressing thoughts
don't have power over you anymore,
and you're able to do what you want to do.
If you relate to any of this
or if you wanna help a loved one who's struggling,
you can learn more by booking a free 15-minute call with NoCD.

Okay, so the next thing I want to discuss,
I do just want to give a trigger warning to anyone listening
that I'm going to speak about some very serious mental health issues.
I've seen several comments suggesting that, you know, the hoopla around the comments Zach made to Janet were blown out of proportion.
And Kristen had said, and I just also want to say I love Kristen, but I am allowed to disagree with my friends.
This is not me coming for her in any way.
I don't like what she said on the after show about,
it was kind of her defending Zach saying,
well, you know, that's like his mortal enemy.
So what are you going to say about your mortal enemy?
And you know, he has a colorful way of speaking when he's drunk. I heard that. And then yeah. The colors are black. They're dark.
Those that's his colorful way of speaking when he's drunk. I'm sure we will see more of this this
season as I just know what I was there for in the conversations that I witnessed. So, you know, more
to come with that. But for Zach to be like, well, I was drunk and I don't remember saying that.
Sure. That's an excuse, but I'm saying it is his excuse.
It's not okay. Just because that's your excuse, that doesn't make it okay.
And maybe if that's always your excuse, stop drinking so much. I don't know.
Don't get black out if you're gonna say things like this to people.
Yeah, the problem with that is it's not a one-off thing.
He just tried, he's all, alcohol, I'm an asshole.
Yeah.
So then figure it out, please.
Keep going, sorry.
We've discussed this on the podcast before with Janet.
She's talked about her mental health struggles.
She's talked about her battle with suicidal thoughts.
And she had, I have her permission to say this,
I just wanna say that,
she had also shared that she had an attempt once
to end her life and that put her on a 72 hour hold.
And for other people to use that against her and to-
Whip an ice like that.
Exactly. It's foul.
He had made comments that were not caught on camera.
So people thinking that everything at the finale,
like that's all he said and it wasn't that big of a deal.
When it was made known to Zach that making comments
like this and getting a woman who's pregnant so hyped up and the blood pressure raising and all of that you could cause
her water to break you can cause her you know to go into early labor and it could
cause a miscarriage and for him to say I don't care that's not okay every person
should care about this baby that this woman is caring also the comment that he made that was not caught on camera
was that she should have killed herself
when she had the chance.
Yeah, that one was wild.
And that was for me when I realized
there's nothing that I need to have you around me.
I don't want any of this.
For you to be able to think that thought, say that thought,
and yeah, you're drunk maybe,
but maybe you didn't think about like the actual impact that had.
You knew it had, she should have done it.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
And also because of what he said, it caused his best friend, Brittany, to
distance herself from him for many, many months, like over his birthday, over the
holidays, it wasn't until Brittany's birthday last year where she pulled me
aside and she was like,
you know, Janet's not coming tonight.
She has a new baby and Zach really wants to come.
He really wants to celebrate me.
Like, what do I do?
What do I do?
And she was comparing like my friendship with Tom Sandoval to her friendship with Zach being
like, okay, well, you know, Tom really screwed up, but then you gave him some grace. And Zach really screwed up,
but I wanna give him some grace.
And when she put it in that, I'm like,
I understand where you're coming from,
but it was just like so dark.
And then that night Zach tried to talk to me
and apologize.
And I'm like, it's not the time or place,
not the time or place.
And then he said something similar
about someone else that we care about.
Exactly similar, that's somebody else.
And that's where I have to disagree with Kristen because I don't want her supporting this behavior.
It's one thing if you want to support your friend and hold him accountable and teach him to be a better person.
And when he's drunk, make sure he doesn't get to that place.
Kristen supports that behavior because it supports her argument.
What's her argument? That she's against Janet right now. Janet should be a better
friend to her. All these things. Janet's been an incredible friend. But I'm saying like for Kristen to support this
behavior she has to get behind it somehow. But I also disagree with
something you said on the after show where you said that Kristen only liked
Zack because she can control him since she can't control Janet anymore. No one
can control Zack honey. I understand that when anymore. No one can control Zach, honey.
I understand that when you put it in that text. Yes, but she supports that message.
And even like our good friend, Elaine, I had a conversation with her about it.
And I said, listen, however you want, I have my feelings there. This is it.
And until that person changes his behavior, that's where I stand.
Yeah.
And see, and here's the thing is,
while Brittany and everyone are distancing themselves from Zach,
Kristen never did.
It's like, you know, you're complicit or supportive
if you're keeping this person around and not holding them accountable.
And that was my issue because, I mean,
Zach and I will never be as close as we once were.
I can be around him and be cordial, but that's about it.
You know, it's become more of a surface level friendship.
But the fact that I don't even know
if he's ever given Janet a genuine apology,
being like, I don't remember saying that.
I am so sorry.
I would never wish death upon you or your unborn child.
And I am so, so sorry.
Like, that would go a long way, you know?
And I don't know that she's gotten a genuine apology
like that from him because I feel like
if we can get that from him,
there is room for Kristen and Janet
to come back together as friends.
And I said that on the after show, you know?
We are a resilient group, but it takes accountability.
It takes you literally owning your shit and apologizing.
Yeah. You got to get held to the calls on the fire, you know?
Yeah. And also I feel like Janet shouldn't have lumped Kristen in with those comments on
Gibson's podcast about Zach.
And I know she apologized for that as we saw last night,
but immediately after Zach had said those things,
it's like everyone was distancing themselves from him
and Kristen was celebrating him
and posting about how amazing he is.
And Kristen didn't, you know, reach out to Janet after that.
So Janet viewed that kind of as like an endorsement
for Zack's
dark demonic behavior. And I mean, after show, like we just filmed this, like you can't get
behind it that that was still wrong last year. It's frustrating. But I mean, it just supports
him. Emma, that's kind of why. All right. I do want to tell a couple funny stories from Coachella. That was enough Valley talk.
Thank you.
I'm back baby.
I made some notes in my phone,
which as I've almost sent Mark a voice note
when we were at Coachella,
because I'm just making random notes.
And when he's printing out everything to put on the cards,
he's got to be like, what the hell does any of this mean?
So we're going gonna tell you guys.
I thought it was so funny that I felt like I was Barbie
and you were Ken at so many parts in the festival
when we're riding on the bike and we're going by
and people were like, oh my God, is that Sheena and Brock?
And Brock, I was like, you are my and Ken.
About time I got bumped up there on a first name basis.
It used to just be Sheena.
Oh, hi, you're Sheena's boyfriend.
You're Sheena's husband.
No, I thought that was so funny.
There were so many people who were just like mind blown
as we're on this electric bike.
And then I would just hear behind us, was that Sheena?
But it was so much fun.
Everyone we met, so freaking nice. I even made some notes of names that I wanted to remember.
Alright, let's do it. Let's see, wait, before you name them off, let's see if I can remember one.
Okay.
It's not coming up.
There was this girl Monique, she was wearing all gold and she had her husband Cody with her.
Yo, Cody!
Yes.
We've met them multiple, in that same spot about four.
What?
What?
Who was performing?
No doubt.
Yeah.
No doubt.
We met this couple at the same spot.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I remember that.
And then Melanie, Morgan, and Carly.
Like these girls, I mean, there were so many people who came up to me,
but those ones just really stuck and made an impact.
And I was like, I need to make a note to shout them out on the podcast because
everyone was so sweet, but it was nice to have day one people come up to me, you
know, people who have followed me for over 12 years.
Cause then there's so many people like, oh my God, I just started watching the
show. Yeah, there was a few of them.
You said a lot of them, which I love as well.
Come on the ride with us. And that's what I tell everyone. Like, we're so sad you're not in the show. Yeah, there was a few of them, new fans. Yeah, a lot of them, which I love as well. Come on the ride with us.
Perfect, come to the valley.
Absolutely, and that's what I tell everyone.
Like, we're so excited you're not in the show anymore.
I'm like, well, you gotta watch the valley now.
But also, the part with Ally, I need to tell,
because we need to clear this up.
Which part?
Because it was two.
So, our friend Elaine's sister,
who was staying with us in the house, didn't she
doesn't watch the show.
She didn't know who Ali was.
And when we got back to the house that night, she asked Brock, like, wait, what
does Ali do for a living? Time out.
Let me just say this is one thirty in the morning after the first night.
Was it the first night or the second night?
The second night we were out there and Ali wasn't staying with us.
So she was on top of mind. Just leading with that.
Okay.
Yeah.
So Brock is in, you know, fine form and Melanie asks him, wait, what does Ali do for a living?
You know, all these people are asking her for photos.
And he said she was a famous psychologist or Scientologist.
We don't remember because we've heard no. I remember what I said.
Okay, you said psychologist.
I did. I said she's a psychologist to the sky.
But then that somehow...
That then got through the game of telephone back to Elaine
that he was telling people she was a Scientologist.
No, no. Let me explain because you weren't in the room clearly.
Mel goes, what does Allie do? And I was like, Allie?
Oh, okay, Allie, we were just with her.
And I had no idea.
I don't pay, when people go to, oh, you're a Gemini.
Oh, you're moon rising, you're crescent to this.
I just look at them and I go, what are you saying to me?
So I've never brought into any of it.
I've later found out I should really look into it.
It's pretty interesting.
Yeah, we just don't know what time you were born.
I had no idea.
And I was like put off.
She wasn't with us.
And I was just like, I know she does something with the sky,
the stars.
And I was like, she's like a psychologist for the sky.
She goes, what?
You know, she's like a cytologist.
I'm like, no, a psychiatrist for the sky.
A psychiatrist.
I don't remember.
At this point.
What is it called?
Wait, it starts with an A and it has to do with the stars.
She is a astrologist.
Yes, he got it.
But see, like listen, it's not top of mind.
And my heart was just pumping through my chest, isn't it?
But yeah, I mean, look, I'm here for it.
But then I've just, Mal was like,
well, what do you mean you don't know?
I'm like, well, I've never paid attention to it.
Also grew up on a dairy farm.
OK, we're not looking at the stars.
Definitely not looking at the stars.
Maybe we're looking at stars.
We're like, that's cool. Fireballs in the sky.
Like, I don't know what we're thinking.
But I never got ready.
I never grew up around it.
I was just it was like VUVU.
But I found out it's actually pretty pretty amazing.
And it and it and it has a long history of civilization, how men studied the sky
and all these things aligned.
So maybe I'll ask Mal to explain it to me and I'll get on on board with it.
And then you're just going to hear the spew out of my mouth every time
I speak to somebody in L.A. Oh, my God.
So now you know what Ali does for a living.
Yeah, Lisa mentioned she's also also been on a TV show.
At least I'd led with her career
instead of being like she's James's ex-girlfriend
or she's on a-
From Vanderpump Rules.
Right, like no, she's her own person.
And she loved that.
She was so taken aback that you had said
what she does for a career.
For her birthday, I'm gonna get her a plaque
and give it to her.
Psychologist, but for this guy.
For this guy.
So good. Oh my gosh.
Oh, I also want to shout out Steph, who I met at the Starbucks stop on my drive to Coachella.
I was kind of hungover from the Valley premiere the night before.
My feet were already killing me.
Then three days of Coachella, like I couldn't walk by Sunday.
But I stop at Starbucks and the girl Steph working freaks out
and then she asked for a photo.
Then all the girls wanted a photo
and I go, only if you give me one of your aprons.
And so I put on the Starbucks apron and I took a photo.
Like I was working there with them for the day.
You should have brought that to Coachella.
Yeah, she needed it back for work.
Yeah, fickle.
And I also met Emma Roberts, which iconic.
And I was afraid to go up to her.
So, cause I'm like, I don't know.
I know you watch the show,
but I don't know if you're a Sheena fan.
There's fans there that aren't Sheena fans.
So I'm like, I don't know.
They have boundaries.
So I'm not gonna go up to her.
Like I don't, if I saw Selena Gomez,
I'm not just gonna go up to her.
I know you watch the show, but I don't know if you like me.
And so I had our PR friend, Ali go up to her
and she's friends with her.
And so she was like, yeah, Sheena's here.
And she looks over and she goes,
you're not gonna say hi to me?
And I was like, hi, I was afraid, I'm sorry.
And she's like, what, I love you.
And right then we were like getting a video
and you see her say, I love you in the video.
Listen, you know what that teaches you honey?
Just approach people like they're just people
and say g'day and lead with like good intentions and the rest will follow. Yeah. Well, I got a cool
I got are you gonna throw? No, I'm gonna say next up
We just got to get Seth Rogen on this couch and just like God that would could I would oh my that's the one dude
I would love to yeah chat with um, what were you gonna say Coachella? So we have a system
It's set up pretty well
We have a meeting spot at each main spot.
Like when we first day you go and establish.
Don't tell people where our spot is.
I'm not going to do it. First day you establish your grounds, right?
And then you go through the weekend.
By day three, when everyone's just dipping out or even Saturday, but Sunday,
everyone knows the drill. They know where to find each other.
They know where to go. If you're at Rose Garden,
they know if you're at that stage where you stand.
So everyone understands it.
And so by the last day after I'm finished, like leading the flock through the festival
because I take on that dad role with everybody.
You OK? You OK?
We get there. Long story short, we see Charlie SDX at like 7 p.m.
and we're at our spot. I have this tank top on.
I take it off. It's hot.
And then it's in my pocket. I drop it where we are.
I forget about it. We leave and I'm like, oh, damn it.
I lost my singlet.
Walk off, come back four hours later for whoever was playing after.
Green day.
Come back.
Everyone goes to the bar.
I was like, I'm going to go see if our group's out here.
I'll go find us in our area.
Find our group, sit down, start talking to them.
And I lean back.
And guess what I put my hand on?
My singlet that I dropped three hours earlier.
That's how on the nose I am a dog on heat.
Like I know our spot and everyone knows how to find that spot.
It's actually pretty cool.
Like we know I put my hand back and was like, what's this?
And I picked up the shirt I dropped three hours earlier.
Yeah, I was like, that's what's up.
I know we got we got it to a science.
I love that.
All right. Last thing I want to talk to you about, because you're here and I always get asked about what Brock the Builder is doing.
So can you let everyone know what's next on the list and what you still have to get done
before you can get your chicken coop?
Yes, the wife has my list.
It's a breakfast nock, TV cabinet for the warm out, a media cabinet,
and then a barbecue area for the summer.
And then I get a chicken coop.
But I do have some exciting news for what I want to do next.
So there's a whole bunch of it.
And the conversation is going like this.
I want to create, keep creating content.
I love doing it.
I really enjoy doing it.
So what I want to do is going into next month, all the revenue from all the social
media content I make from this month is going to be a part of the budget, but we're going to set a dollar value.
And if anyone, any fan or anyone out there has like a room or they need help, they just got another kid and they want to kind of like build a backyard for them, reach out to me.
So I'm going to have a website. It's going to go live on my Instagram and you can go in there and we'll have YouTube series, long form content. And I want to do Brock the Builder DIY rescue series where you guys
get to set the value I set for next month based on the amount of viewership
and ad revenue. It all goes to the next project. So you guys can submit your
projects. I will select the top five and then I'll post the top five stories.
And then you guys, there's a fans can pick where I'll go,
whose house I'm going to go help out. Now I'm not going to do the actual work because there's a
liability in that. My home, I can do that. I will use the funds to hire and pay for the professionals
to come in. And then I would kind of host like a social media DIY series, but it's powered by the
fans. So please tell everybody to get behind it because the more they watch, the more they share it, the more they engage with it.
The bigger the brand.
I want to make like hundred thousand remodels.
Like I want to change people's lives.
And I think doing it this way is the most organic way for me because I love it.
And so I have big visions for what we can do.
Hopefully we get the first budget to be about two to five grand and then month by month, we're going it until I promise you I'm gonna do a whole house or like five blocks like a whole block with five houses
You're gonna be like extreme home makeover a prof edition
But for social media and I think it's a really good way to do that
And so when this comes out the website will be on my home page. I think it's Brock the builder TV comes out in two days
Yeah, it's it would's The website will be live guys. So please go jump on that
Tell us your story submit your friends and then going into next month
We'll pick the first one and then every month
I think we'll just do one project a month until we increase that revenue to we can do every two weeks
I got our house and then on the same time as that
I will be handling my wife's never-ending list to the chicken.
It will end, honey. There's only a couple of things left on there.
The breakfast milk is coming together very well.
Finally, it's opened up the dining area so much.
Yeah, now I have to build a table.
So now we do. It's all coming together.
But guys, thanks. Thanks for asking that, honey, because I didn't know how we could go forward with it because I enjoyed it.
How could I make this something more permanent?
And I think this way I can actually connect with everybody, our fans.
And let's do this.
And if you do any turf in anyone's backyard, what's a lesson you learned in Palm Springs?
Yeah. So check the sprinkler system before and after you put nails in the grass.
Because he nailed through the pipes.
No, through the drip line. It wasn't the full pipes. You pierced the irrigation pipes.
I knew there was a drip line. Our drip line wasn't working at the time.
Flooded under the new turf. Plants dying. Whoa, whoa, no, goddamn, it wasn't that. That's why I'm hiring
the professionals anyway. I'll hire the professionals, I'll come to your house and it'll be middle America first.
Like I can do more with five grand
and then I can in California unfortunately.
So I'm coming on the road.
Well, I can't wait to see what you do next.
Thanks, hon.
