The following podcast is a Dear Media production.
From Vanderpump rules to motherhood and everywhere in between.
Warm up the kettle, it's time to spill some tea. Let's get into some shenanigans with Sheena Shay
Hello everyone, welcome back to another episode of Shenanigans.
There have been several iconic moments
that have transpired lately.
So I knew just the person to come on and talk about it all.
Everything iconic, Dani Pelichino.
Sheena, I'm so excited.
I mean, what a historic week for you specifically
because Masked Singer.
Yeah.
You had a little cameo on Beverly Hills House.
So as you pop in. So crazy. So how are you feeling? You announced your book recently.
Yeah. I'm the guest here, but I feel like I need to ask you about this. It's been such a crazy week.
There was a cocaine allegation we got to talk about. Wait, what? I mean, not an allegation,
but Jax came out in the interview. Oh, that. I was like, allegation about me? Excuse me.
No, but I want to know how much you knew and like.
That was not. That would be the worst kept secret
if like we didn't know.
Okay, wait, can we just, let's get into this now.
You've got a lot to get into.
We have a lot to get into.
Can we, we'll start with the cocaine stuff.
What were you thinking when this interview,
when this interview came out with Jax,
he said that he had been on cocaine
and had some substance abuse issues.
He says, I think audience probably saw it. Yes. I mean, there were things that were caught.
I think at their wedding, there was a plate of coke
that was just like on the table in his hotel room.
There are things that I saw.
That is real.
That's like a meme that has gone around for years.
It was never like production supplying it or okay with it.
I think they didn't notice. That would have never made it to air. But I mean, it was never like production supplying it or okay with it. I think they didn't notice.
That would have never made it to air.
But I mean, it has to go through, you know, editing and so many people.
But I just don't think anyone was looking at the little plate on the table.
Wow.
Okay.
Yeah, I mean.
So, Cass knew?
Yes, everyone knew.
Jack stayed cocaine.
That was not a secret.
Did production know?
I feel like he definitely came out of the bathroom with white stuff on his nose every here and there, but they would have never supplied, supported or anything like that.
It's just like, you know, we're drinking, he's doing that, we're smoking weed.
I mean, it is what it is, but no, that was never something that they were behind.
The thing where it gets confusing to me is,
yes, it's a reality show,
but it's also like you guys have call times.
For everybody to just know that somebody's high on coke
all the time and like there are,
it feels a little strange to me to like put so many other,
like crew and stuff in that position.
If everyone just was like,
oh yeah, this is a common knowledge. Does that make sense? Yeah, no, that totally makes sense. to put so many other crew and stuff in that position. If everyone just was like,
oh yeah, this is a common knowledge.
Does that make sense?
Yeah, no, that totally makes sense.
Did anyone ever feel like, hey, this guy's pretty bad.
Maybe we shouldn't have him on the show.
I mean, we all certainly did,
but, and you know, maybe they finally did
when season nine came around and he wasn't asked back.
He wants to say he quit, but like, come on, you don't just walk away from this.
So you think it might have just been...
I think they finally had enough.
They finally had enough.
And I think the icing on the cake was him saying to Lisa's face,
this is why my show is so successful.
It was like, you're lucky you're still on this show, buddy.
Okay? We're done. So yeah.
I find it so interesting because it's like, yeah, even in his admission, it was like,
yeah, the audience saw it, the audience knew it.
And I'm the audience and I'm like, yeah, we've seen over the years, there's been memes,
like you mentioned, there's been so much stuff over the years.
We've seen so many clips of him that have gone viral where it's like, you can see a lot,
the eyes are wide and as he says, and then Tom was, I think, on maybe Watch What Happens Live
and said, yeah, we all knew was I think on maybe watch what happens live
and said, yeah, we all knew, just like you're saying now.
And I feel like it's so strange to me that it's like,
yeah, everybody knew and I would assume production knew too
then and it seems so strange to me that it's like,
this guy's showing up for filming super coked out
all the time.
Or I don't wanna say that.
I mean, I just find it strange.
But I know it's reality show. I think in my head, I'm like, well, it's a reality show.
And I'm like, well, it's not a documentary.
It's not a documentary.
Like we're not just having cameras in your house
or something.
This is something where you're getting call times.
People are showing up.
You have clearance for filming for different locations.
I'm like, this feels a little strange to me,
but I'm not the judge and jury.
You know, I just hope he stays on his path of sobriety
and wreaks less havoc in Brittany's life
because she doesn't deserve the hell
that he has put her through.
Okay, so this is what I want to ask you about Brittany too.
So like she came out with a interview
in Us Weekly or something after this,
and basically like threw him under the bus
and was like, oh, I don't know if he's really,
what's happening here?
What did you think of that?
He said he was a work in progress for, you know,
eight seasons of the show.
And I'm sure he's set it on the valley
for the past two seasons as well.
So it's like, when, how can we believe you
when you just keep saying it and not changing, you know?
Maybe this time, yeah, him being sober completely,
hopefully that does change something, but...
What's the impetus for talking about it now then?
I think just supporting Britney is number one.
If he's not, my question is more like,
if he's not through it yet,
why is he doing interviews about it?
I mean, he says he's, you know, 80 something days sober.
So I guess this is his way of trying to gain
sympathy in a redemption arc before season two airs.
I can't believe that the wedding thing.
So that was like a clip that I feel like I've seen so many times go viral.
But I always just sort of assumed it was like not really that.
But now, of course course like, oh wow.
Yeah, but I mean, I didn't notice that
until fans pointed it out.
Are you missing it now?
Cause you guys would be, would you be filming now
or would you be wrapped?
I think we would have filmed
when the Valley filmed last summer.
So I still got my fix.
Oh, are you gonna be full?
You're not full time on the Valley, are you?
I don't know how much they're gonna use me.
I know how much I filmed.
I hung out with them a lot. So it's gonna be good. I've heard
anecdotally from behind the scenes like the new season of the Valley's could be
good. Fire. Five star. And do we know when we're getting it? I assume spring but
it's like... So you don't really miss a beat if you're filming the Valley when
you would have been filming Vanderpump Rules. Right. Yeah. So it didn't really miss a beat if you're filming the valley when you would have been filming Vanderpump rules, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, it didn't really feel like a break. No, it didn't and now, you know, whenever Vanderpump rules starts filming again
That it's gonna be fun to watch honestly, you know those guys. I know a couple of the girls. Are they messy? Um, yes
So do you think it'll be dramatic?
I think for people who can actually take the time to invest in new people and not just right off the show because it's not us.
Like you can follow us in our other endeavors in so many different ways.
But like give the new guys a chance, you know?
Are they genuinely friends?
Yes. I don't know everyone on the show, but the girls I know are genuinely best friends.
One of the girls used to date one of the bartenders
and then like two of them both slept with the same person.
And like, it is very incestual as well.
Does any of the OG, the Underpump Rules cast
have relationship dynamics with any of those people?
Like more, more than just like casual acquaintance.
Like have any of you guys ever like hooked up or dated or?
Not hooked up, but one of the girls
I've been friends with for years.
I tried to get her on the show starting like season seven,
and it just didn't really catch on.
But she came to visit me when I was in Vegas.
I brought her and her then boyfriend up on stage with me for my show Sex Tips.
And she might have been a we might see her if we go back and watch.
Maybe, yeah, because I mean, she's genuinely
worked at Sir forever.
And I don't think any of the cast has announced yet.
I just, I know everyone who works there
has been approached.
So I'm like, I'm assuming that she's going to be on it.
And I'm happy that they're all finally
getting their opportunity.
Would you guys pop in?
Because I would imagine, I could see that.
Like my, I feel like what they'll have happen is like
the new cast would go to the sandwich shop or go to
wherever.
I could see all of those things happening and you know,
maybe they call and ask if I want to come have dinner at
Sir or Girls Night with Demi.
We'll see.
Interesting.
You were just on Beverly Hills Housewives too.
And it's so crazy that that was back to back nights because I mean, I did that last summer,
but I had no idea that it was going to air the same week as The Masked Singer.
Did you see, so you saw the Cathy fashion show, Debacle, in person.
Was it like how it was shown on TV? Did you see that?
Yes. No, it was literally like that. It was so fun too to be there when they're filming another show,
but it just was very organic. You know, if I see Kyle out at any event, I'm going to
go up and have a conversation with her. Same with Sutton. I just ran into her on the street
outside of TomTom this past weekend. And I mean, a lot of these women I am friends with.
So it was great. I talked to Garcelle that night.
It's a proper community now that I feel like you guys have all met each other.
All the cast members have all been in the same room
a million times.
So I imagine you all know each other.
Totally.
It just, it made sense that I was there.
People want to know, I'm here for the people.
People want to know, are you close with Ariana now?
What's going on with you two?
We, you know, we talk here and there.
I think no matter what, Ariana and I are always
going to have such a deep love
for each other.
And I hope she reads my book,
maybe has a better understanding
for some of my actions over the past couple years
and understands a little more about my mental state
and what I was going through.
Wait, so you write about your relationship
with her in the book.
I write about everything up until a few months ago.
What do you, wait, wait. Okay, wait.
So do you write about the show in there?
Yeah, the show ending, getting rebooted.
Do you get, is juicy stuff in it?
There's a lot of juicy stuff.
Can you give me one,
can you give me like one juicy tidbit
to make people want to buy the book?
Like, was there something that was the hardest
for you to reveal in the book?
A few things, yeah.
I mean, there is an entire chapter that I kept so close
and just like close to so many people
because I didn't want anything to leak.
And I mean, the chapter will be in the book
and when it's out July 22nd, everyone can read it.
But-
I also have two books out.
People can pick them up now.
Yes.
But wait, so back to Ariana.
So you guys, so there is stuff in there
about your relationship dynamic.
Yes.
Okay, and then I'm assuming
with the other cast members as well.
Yeah, totally.
So Tom, how are you two now?
I mean, here's the thing, okay?
He goes on Watch What Happens Live the other night,
and he's like, yeah, you know, Sheena and I talk,
I sent her this thing about the B-52s the other day,
and I'm like, yes, in January,
he messaged me a video of like the B-52s the other day. And I'm like, yes, in January, he messaged me a video of like the B-52s on SNL.
It was Rock Lobster.
Rock Lobster.
And we used to play, and I talk about this in the book,
we used to play We Just Dance after our shifts at Villablanca.
And that was one of the moments
where I really saw chemistry between Tom and Ariana.
And so when he said that on Watch What Happens Live, I'm like,
is that like a subtle dig at Ariana because that's the song that y'all used to dance to?
Are you that calculated? I don't know.
Oh, interesting.
But when he sent that to me, I wasn't even thinking about it at the moment.
It was just like, oh, that was a memory.
And I just said, ha ha ha, that's amazing.
Like that was our conversation for the month of January.
And then he reached out to me again a few weeks ago
to do a birthday video for Amanda from Reality Ops
because I guess I didn't see her husband's DM.
That's so weird that like people like myself
for all the fans of these shows analyze
like every interaction you guys have with each other.
And like, cause I even saw the only reason I knew
that Tom had mentioned something about you
was because I saw a clip of him on Watch What Happens Live and I was like oh it's so strange
that these things it's such a little innocuous thing or something that could be so easily twisted.
Yeah and it's like oh yeah like we're in touch it's like then people think you know we're going
out and getting lunch together and whatnot and I'm like did I respond to his text? Yes and also
did I do the birthday video? Absolutely but we we're not hanging out, getting lunch, and we don't have the relationship that
we used to have. Like, we're never going to get that back. I'm trying to think about the other
thing I had to ask you about, which Ryan Bailey sort of asked you about, but I interviewed JC
Shazay. Oh, yeah. I have like a whole slew of things. Never dated. So you guys never dated.
No. But I had interviewed JC and I was so stressed about it because I love him as you know.
And I had just totally forgotten to ask him.
I knew that you and him had like known each other somehow.
And I had just totally forgotten.
It slipped my mind.
I asked every obscure question I'd ever wanted to ask him except that one.
And then I was talking to Ryan Bailey and he said JC was coming on.
I was like, you please for me,
ask Ms. Sheena questions.
So he asked about it.
But yeah.
There's a very small tidbit in the book
because I have a whole like Hollywood black book chapter
in it as well.
You've dated like a lot of hot,
you've dated a lot of hot guys.
My roster is very impressive.
It really is.
And I kind of rattle off some of them in the book.
And I'll just say that.
Who else? JC, John Mayer. Is there another good one? You gotta read the book. off some of them in the book. And I'll just say that.
Who else?
JC, John Mayer.
Is there another good one?
You gotta read the book.
Okay, I'll read the book.
JC, though, was a little shocker to me.
And you had told me sort of off air, I think.
But I'm glad that we could finally talk about it.
Yeah.
But then when I saw Ryan, he was like, no, we didn't date.
And some people have a different definition of that.
I'm like, no, no, no.
Go back on my podcast.
I never said date.
I said we had some fun together because we did.
I would date.
I mean, he was such a gem of a man.
I mean, yes. He was so nice.
He came over my house for the interview
and he was so sweet and just the best, I loved him.
He's so great and Lance and I are so close.
And I was such an NSYNC fan growing up.
JC, no one's been hotter ever.
Yeah, I know.
What else do I have to ask you about?
Mass Singer, people probably want me to ask you about that.
Yeah, well, we're gonna get into all of that. We going to take a quick little break and then we'll be right back.
OK, everyone, I need you to take this from me because I've had two of them.
Two weddings. Yes, that's right. So here's what I recommend.
If you are having a wedding, get someone to help you plan it, not just day of, but full on.
And I'm talking about the knot.
It's like, you found your person,
now let the knot help you with everything else.
The knot connects you to the wedding inspo,
vendors, venues, and planning tools
that you need to make your day totally you.
Because that's what this day should be about, right?
When it comes to your wedding, you've got ideas
and the knot has the connections to make it happen.
It will make your day so much easier having someone there
to just get you through every step of the way,
from gathering inspo and scoring expert advice
to even finding your venue, figuring out your budget. from gathering inspo and scoring expert advice
to even finding your venue, figuring out your budget.
They're gonna connect you with all the people,
all the places and all of the tools you'll need.
Plus, the knot makes it easy to keep your guests in the loop
so you can focus on what really matters,
celebrating your love with the people who mean it the most.
And this may be the first time you're putting together
something this big, this visible, this meaningful,
and The Knot is taking the guesswork out of it.
Let The Knot connect you to all of the people,

Okay, so yesterday was a big day for both of us.
I suppose I'm maybe a little tired
of making things about me.
It gets exhausting, you know, all the check-ins.
Is it, you know, has anyone checked on Sheena?
I have a question for you.
I know I'm interrupting you.
No, you're fine.
As you're trying to come back from break
with a new topic for us.
That's okay.
But it must get a little annoying.
Like every time you say anything about yourself,
you also have people saying, like,
you're making it about yourself.
And then I feel like I'm such a neurotic person.
I would just be thinking every time I'm about to say
something about myself, I'd be like,
oh, fuck, people are going to say I'm making about myself.
And that's where I just have to kind of own it now.
And just, you know, like last night when this night,
I was like, tonight's about me and I'm making it about me.
Okay. It was also one of my friend's birthdays.
I was like, we'll get to your birthday after the show airs,
but tonight we're here for me. Okay. And cause if you weren't making it about you too, people would just be like, oh, friend's birthdays. I was like, we'll get to your birthday after the show airs. But tonight, we're here for me. Okay. Yeah. And because if you weren't making it about you too, people would just
be like, oh, she's dying that she's not making it about. Like, you can't sort of win in that situation.
You can't win. And you know what, I just, I have to lean into it. And I love that people are checking
on me. Like there was someone at the New York Marathon that had a giant sign and says, has anyone
checked on Sheena?
And people are probably seeing this,
like who is Sheena?
Like whatever this person is.
Can I tell you a quick story?
I did a Hallmark Christmas movie at the end of last year.
And like a week before I had to show up,
we shot in Utah and you do like a hair and makeup test.
So that, and they're very particular at Hallmark
of like how the hair and everything looks.
And they had printed out a picture of you and I
from Watch What Crap-Ins.
Like, anyway, they loved this,
how my hair looks or something.
So that's how I had to do the hair for like the whole shoot.
And so it was just hanging in the trailer.
So I saw you like every day for a month when we were there.
And I was explaining to some of the girls,
one of the girls was like, oh, who is that?
Is that your like friend or something? And I was like, oh, who is that? Is that your friend or something?
And I was like, oh, she's on the show,
Vandermomp Rules.
And then, so there was like a whole morning
where I had to just explain like the whole backstory
of Vandermomp Rules.
All the lore.
And then, and I was like getting into everything
and I was like, yeah, and that picture we took,
I was like, it was our good side.
And I was like, and she's got a new book.
You know, like there was just like a whole,
it was a whole thing.
Yeah.
I was like explaining your lore to these people.
That reminds me, I'm gonna need to get a photo of you
with my book on your good side.
Yes, but going back to this week.
So I was raised Catholic and it was Ash Wednesday yesterday.
But for you, Ash Wednesday has a whole other meaning.
I know you brought back your homage to the one and only Ashley Simpson,
who is also a friend of mine.
Wait, you're friends with Ash?
Yeah, our kids go to the same school.
And I've known Evan since I was 21.
I feel like you're connected to everyone in this.
We used to be at Ladoo together and all the time.
So the night I met Ashley,
we were actually at Miley Cyrus' house
for Noah and Liam's joint birthday party.
Who's Noah?
Her little sister.
Liam, oh, okay.
Noah Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth?
Her ex, yeah.
Okay.
And so we're at this party at Miley's house,
which is iconic in itself.
But then I see Evan across the bar
and he's like, oh my God, like haven't seen him in a decade.
And then Ashley, I think, watches the show.
But then he's like, remember babe, I told you,
like we go way back.
And in that moment we just connected.
And now also she's really good friends
with Nia from The Valley.
And so we were-
Okay, how do we get Ashley on The Valley?
Right, she lives in The Valley.
Come on. So, yeah. Come on, okay. We need Ashley Simpson the valley? Right, she lives in the valley, so yeah.
Come on, okay, we need Ashley Simpson on the valley.
I love the Simpson sisters.
Yeah, I used to do this thing on my Instagram
where I had these crazy long captions
and I would post these videos of Ashley and Jessica.
I would always do the Ashley ones during Lent,
which is so anti-religion.
I was raised Catholic, so it's... Yeah.
I'm doing it respectfully.
I mean, same.
But I... Yeah, it's like Ash Wednesday. So I'm going to try to do it weekly. But I love
Ashlee Simpson and it all sort of started with my love of Jessica Simpson is sort of what led to the
Ashlee love. But I realized with Jessica, what was so fascinating to me about her is that she
has this... Everyone has sort of loved her at different times,
like so many different demographics.
She's one of those people who crosses demographics in a way,
like a Dolly Partner, Kelly Clarkson,
or like there's very few people that,
and Jessica's one that I find so fascinating
because like straight guys were obsessed
with Jessica Simpson during like Dukes of Hazzard,
all that, my college roommate had her rolling stone cover
on our wall, you know?
But then gay people, we loved her pop career.
And then so many young women I know were obsessed
with her and newlyweds and her fashions,
her bags, everything.
So I find it so, she's such a compelling celebrity to me
in that way, as like such a rare person
that so many different demographics have like been obsessed
with her at one time or another.
So I love doing those little Ashley and Jessica videos.
Yeah. What I want to do is we're trying to plan a double date right now, like her,
Evan, myself and Brock.
Can we make it a triple date? Can Matt and I come?
Oh my God, that would be so fun.
I'm inviting us.
That would be so fun.
So trying to set that up.
But yeah, so just thought, you know, we could relate on that.
And I want to know, are the other crazy people you've been connected to in your
days since moving out here, because I do know that you moved out here a long time
ago. Yeah.
2006.
Yes. You've been connected.
And I mean, I've been here my whole life.
Even when I was in college, I was coming out here with a fake ID.
The night I met J.C. was coming in here with I had a fake ID.
I wasn't even 21 when I met him.
Did it had a different name on your ID?
No, it was mine actually. I went to MacArthur Park.
My sister was a toddler. She was probably about summer's age.
I took her with me. I go to MacArthur Park. You walk around.
There's these guys going, ID, ID, ID. You say yes.
Very sketchy. Things I would never do or want my daughter to do.
Didn't tell my mom about it at the time, obviously.
They take you into this like sketchy, like cam quarter store.
You go in the back room, they take a photo of you come back one hour.
And here's your ID.
It had the black light.
It scanned.
It was like a hundred bucks.
Our generation took chances.
We did.
We took chances. We did. We took chances.
We were flying by the seat of our pants.
We hoped for the best, expecting the worst.
But you know what?
We did it.
We got our fake IDs and we were messes.
Yeah.
I had my brother's ID.
I have two older brothers
and one of them were the same height.
And so when he turned 21, I was like.
See, that's perfect.
Once I turned 21, I was like, who wants my ID?
Let me pass it down to some fellow brunette because I wished I had a real one.
But the fake one worked everywhere I went, except one time in Vegas.
And I was with my mom, actually.
And they gave it back to me because they're like, you're with your mom.
Like, just don't try to use it here again.
I'm like, it worked last time. Just saying.
Oh, my God. But yeah.
So crazy. Anyway, keeping things last time, just saying. Oh my God. But yeah, so. Crazy.
Anyway, keeping things about me, you know.
I love it.
Cats out of the bag or maybe the bats out of the cave.
Okay, The Masked Singer, you had the best costume, right?
Right.
Was it the best costume?
Because I don't watch the show regularly.
I tuned in for you.
Yeah.
And I was like, this is the cutest costume.
I feel like it was the best costume of the season.
It's a bummer that back out sent home so soon,
but you know, maybe there's an episode in the future.
They bring her back.
It's a Halloween episode or some sort of all stars.
I'm just manifesting that.
Well, I mean, you've taken over the bat for me.
So there's no Batman anymore.
It's like, I'm thinking of you when I think of the bat.
But I never seen the show before.
And I was telling you before we started recording
that I would have been most stressed
because it's a live show.
Like you take off that big costume
and I would have been so sweaty.
I'm a sweaty person.
I'm anxious in general.
And so I run sweaty.
And I was thinking, gosh,
you're so brave to be in a costume like that
and then have to take it off.
And so there was a commercial, do they at least give you a second to like compose yourself?
Yes.
I mean, it was a shock.
We don't know who's going home.
And I genuinely felt like I've got at least one more in me.
Like, it's not going to be me.
I went in confident, just being excited about my second performance.
And when Nick said bat, I was like, hold on, hold on.
Is my in here? I feel like he just said bat. I like hold on hold on is my my in here I
feel like he just said bat I don't think he meant to say bat and I'm in a state
of shock and they're like okay we're gonna break and they're like you know if
you want to go back like take it off for a second compose yourself and I'm just
like I'd be like I need a full face of makeup on I already had makeup on
because just in case you have to do press after and whatnot so I already had
makeup on but my hair was in
Braids and you have this I can't even remember what it's called, but this like full thing around you
So it's like you're barely your face is barely out covers your chin all the way to your forehead
And so I didn't want to take it off
And then I also had a bicycle helmet on that was cranked all the way tight
I couldn't have taken it off myself. So they had to break, release the helmet for me.
And even then I was still like trying to get it off.
Like the men in black had to come out and help me.
But yeah, my hair, I mean, I liked my little like moment
because I mean, it was either keep it in braids,
which I thought about doing, but I'm like, you know what?
I've got some waves in the braids, just leave it down.
And it was fun, but I was choking back tears the entire time
because I was sad that it was over so soon,
but I was so freaking proud of myself.
And I was just thinking about my daughter the entire time.
And I'm like, I hope I made her proud.
I'm sure she was probably, she watched it.
She was freaking out last night.
She was so excited.
I mean, I would imagine being on any stage like that,
it's a big show.
I mean, it's a lot of people watch that show.
You know, like it's, I don't know what the numbers are,
but I know they're really big.
It's a hell of a lot more than Vanderpump has ever gotten.
I would just be stressed about like thinking
everyone's listening to me sing.
I mean, I know you sing and stuff.
All things that came across when I got the initial email,
I see it and I'm like,
I'm just gonna pretend like I didn't see that.
Did they reach out before Dancing with the Stars?
Yeah, I'm not.
Dancing with the Stars still hasn't asked you to be on it?
No, that dream came and went and passed.
I'm excited for any of my friends in the future
who are on it, but that's not my dream anymore.
Never had a dream of being on The Masked Singer,
but this was something that took me so far
out of my comfort zone that right when I got the email,
I was like, I looked at my phone, I set it down.
I was like, yeah, that's not happening.
And then my manager calls me with my agent on the phone,
Dina Katz, the casting director.
And I was like, yeah, like thank you so much
for the opportunity.
I was like, no.
And they're like, look, it's not a singing competition.
We're not out to make fun of you.
It's a guessing game.
It's fun. It's lighthearted. We have this costume in mind for you. It's not a singing competition. We're not out to make fun of you. It's a guessing game. It's fun.
It's lighthearted.
We have this costume in mind for you.
It's absolutely stunning.
If you don't like it, we can go back to the drawing board.
Like I felt very much in control and comfortable
and confident with something I was so afraid to do.
And I'm like, you know what?
What's the worst that happens?
I sound bad.
I get made fun of.
Been there, done that. You did that on Vanderpump Rules. Exactly. I get made fun of. I've been there, done that.
You did that on Vanderpump Rules.
Exactly. I'm like, I would have regretted saying no to this. It was something that put my OCD
exposure therapy that I do on level 100. And I was so freaking proud of myself. Like I felt like
I was going to be claustrophobic in it. I worried about how am I gonna sound?
Am I gonna be able to move?
Part two, I was gonna for my second song do the splits.
And so I was trying to work on that.
El King, Good Girls from the Ghostbusters soundtrack,
which I still plan to cover with the 27s
cause I need my moment to perform that song.
It was such-
Did you rehearse it?
You rehearsed it?
I did, full dress rehearsal, full choreography, all of that. I started on a motorcycle. I did like a high kick off the motorcycle. It was so hot. But I didn't get to have that moment. And so I was I was so bummed about it because I knew that was going to be such a solid, strong performance. But once I got there, and here's the thing, I feel like I also kind of manifested this because when I was talking to my team and I go, fine, I'll do it.
Can I just go home the first night?
And they were like, no, you don't want to go home the first night.
I'm like, I don't want to keep singing to get made fun of more.
And then as I get into rehearsals and I'm working with my vocal coach, I'm like, I don't
want to go home the first night.
I like my second song better.
My third song, I was doing Dixie Chicks, Goodbye Earl.
Didn't know if I would get there,
but I've been singing that song.
Would you have ever done good as,
you can't do good as gold.
No.
No, you can't.
That's a stupid question.
Yeah.
I mean, not necessarily a stupid question.
I'm sure someone else could,
but they wouldn't have me sing my own song.
I just want everyone that goes on there
to just be like singing good as gold.
It would be insane.
But, it just.
So who else?
Okay, wait, so you can't tell,
you could tell the audience.
I don't know who anyone else is.
No, I'm dying to know who the Yorkie is because they have
bat and Yorkie in a promo in the back alley of Sir like fighting.
So I'm like, who is that?
Is it someone on Vanderpump Rules?
Is it someone in Bravo?
Is it someone I like have a few with?
Yeah, interesting.
I have no idea because that person is in Group C and that hasn't even aired yet.
I never watched the show and I was shocked and appalled by how
Comfortable I was with it all because it's so insane. Yeah, and I'm like, oh, I'm just accepting all this
Yes a normal thing, but it's insane
And they're like guessing people's names. I'm like
It's crazy and everyone they thought I was I was. I was like, icon, icon, icon. Who did they guess? Lisa Rinna? They guessed Larsa Pippen, Kristen Cavallari, Heidi Montag, Bethany Frankel.
I mean, there were some good guesses for sure.
And I feel like if I made it through the second song and the second package,
they might have guessed it was me because there were so many more clues in that.
Did you get to come up with clues on?
Did you get to come up with clues or do they?
I had a long call with them and they asked me so many questions to kind of write the package around things that did hit close to home.
But then there were things in there where I'm like still trying to figure out what does the bear mean? Is it the state of California flag?
I didn't understand that. Jenny kept saying Chicago. I know, but they also do things like that to throw people off. Yeah.
And it worked. They're like, oh, it has to be Chicago with Larson Pippen. Do you do it again? I would. Yeah. Okay
so you said Dancing with the Stars isn't a dream anymore. What is there a show that's a dream?
Traders. Traders is that's my new dream. They'll invite you on there right? Yeah I'm just I'm
manifesting that so hardcore I don't know if I'm jinxing myself, but it is. It would be a fun show.
Yeah, and the thing is I've never done competition before
because like I said, I was afraid.
I am so insecure about singing live in front of people
because of the way I've been portrayed on the show
because of, there was one time where I'm singing
at Gay Pride and you know, we wear our mics
when we're filming, but that night or that day, Gay Pride, I know we wear our mics when we're filming but that
night or that day at Gay Pride I get up on the bar I'm singing in a mic over my
track with loudspeakers it sounded great in the room but then it airs and they
use your audio yeah yeah and I'm like I'm literally screaming I'm not trying
to sound good and so that was the thing where on this recent finale,
season 11, when I performed with the band,
I didn't have my mic on.
I was like, nope, we're just gonna use that audio.
And like 30 seconds before I go,
showrunner Jeremiah comes over and he's like,
Sheena, you need to put on your fucking mic.
Like, come on.
And I was like, no, I'm not doing this.
You guys are just gonna make fun of me.
They're like, Sheena, like we promise, like it's gonna sound great. And I was like, no, I'm not doing this. You guys are just gonna make fun of me. They're like, Sheena, like we promise,
like it's gonna sound great.
And I was so nervous to see the finale,
but I was like, you know what?
They didn't do me dirty this time.
It sounded great.
And with this show, they were like,
no one's out to do you dirty.
No one's out to make fun of you.
Unmasking her, it seems like they're not making fun of you.
No, not at all.
And that was the thing, just watching all of it
and hearing the banter of the judges, cause I couldn't making fun of it. No, not at all. And that was the thing, just watching all of it and hearing the banter of the judges,
because I couldn't hear any of that,
the way that it was all packaged together,
it was just so uplifting.
And I'm so glad that I didn't let my fear
hold me back from doing something.
So I come back.
Girl, you gotta get over that though.
I know.
You just gotta say fuck it,
because you're fucking Sheena fucking Shay.
I forget that all the time.
And you know what people are.
I mean, with all of what I noticed about reality TV
and I've said this on my show a million times,
but like the audience goes on this roller coaster with you guys.
And it's purposely done.
They edit it that way to make us like change allegiances and all that stuff.
And so there are so many seasons where we're going to hate you.
And then there's going to be a season we love you.
And then there's going to be a season we hate you again. When have I been loved?
What season was that? I feel like you must have had a good season. Have you ever had a good season?
No, I don't think so. You haven't had a universally beloved. I genuinely don't think so. You might have had some bad
season but I feel like there's a season. I always root for you. Thank you. And that's why I like
listening to your podcast when you do the recaps and stuff because you're honest, but it's never been in like a hating way
It's like there may be something cringe that I do you're gonna call it out
Yeah, but and I always try to always felt support from you. I always also try to bring it back to myself
It's like if I want to make fun of some way someone looks I'm gonna make fun of the way
I look to or you know what I mean like I don't want to ever make anyone feel bad or anything
We're just trying to have some laughs at all of these shows. Totally, at our expense. That's okay, because I laugh too.
I look back and I'm like, oh my God, so cringe.
All of season six, let's just delete it from history
and pretend like it never happened.
Season six is the one?
That was a bad one.
That's when it got real cringe.
That was the raw season.
The raw, okay, but see now we look back on that
and I'm like, that was so fun to make fun of you.
I know.
And now I can make fun of myself.
In the moment, things felt like the end of the world.
But now I look back and I'm thankful for those moments because it also shaped who I am today.
And anytime the audience has maybe strongly disagreed with something that I did, I might
also agree with them.
And I'm like, you know, I agree that I didn't like the way I handled that situation either. And I will be better moving forward. I hope on these other platforms,
you know, with the Valley and a new group of friends that you'll see me around with
the book with seeing me on the Masked Singer listening to my podcast. I just hope you see
a more rounded out version of who I am taking control of my narrative and just finally being in
control of that because I never have been on the show.
Getting to know some of you guys from Vanderpump a little bit and I worked with Ariana Tom
with their book.
I think like you're all the way they present you but then also there is getting to know
you on a different level.
It's like, oh, but people aren't seeing those other sides.
And I always would say that about Ariana in particular.
I never felt like they showed her properly on the show.
Like I was always like, she's so sweet and funny
and like these other warm qualities.
And they never showed that until post,
I think maybe post, well, I don't know
if they showed her very, you know,
you know what I'm trying to say.
I get what you're saying.
But it's like, yeah, and you too,
I feel like that we see that kind of sometimes embarrassing
side or that kind of side.
Yeah, you see the most cringe side.
I talk about that in the book as well.
Which is fun and I love that.
I love saying that. It's entertaining.
And I'm so grateful that you do that for us.
Yeah.
But sometimes I'm like, oh, well,
we're not really seeing like that other side of her too,
but which is as long as you're okay with it,
we're okay with it.
Right, and the thing is, I was saying this about Janet.
When you put someone on a reality show
with a bunch of people, when you're starting out,
you're not the best of friends with.
You're not gonna see the best version of yourself.
And I felt that way when I started the show.
I came on with three women who didn't want me there.
I didn't come onto a bunch of my friends welcoming me.
It was like, let's get this girl off our show.
I don't care if she helps start it.
This is our show, it's our friends
and we don't want her around.
And it's like, you're not gonna see me as me
when I'm fighting for my life every season to just fit in.
You're not seeing the best sides of me.
Even Janet also, I think, didn't come across,
she had a terrible season.
Terrible.
First season.
And there's so many other sides to her,
knowing her outside.
Yes, and when she co-hosts my podcast,
and people see they're like,
why don't we see this Janet on the show?
I'm like, because this is Janet with me,
with Kiki, with like friends and people
who bring out the good side of her,
and the light side, and she's so funny.
And hopefully you see more of that season too,
but you never know.
To bring it back to me for a second.
Of my show, but when I do the recaps,
I try my best to just talk about also what's on the show
and not like what I might know of some of the people
outside of the things,
because it does make it difficult.
I think if I'm able to just go off the show,
it's easy to make fun of what's happening on the show.
I think sometimes when you veer out of that
or if I start to give my own opinion
of some of the people outside of the show,
I think it's like, well,
that's not what's going on on the show
that we're all watching.
I don't know if I'm making any sense.
Yeah, no, I get what you're saying.
It's like you can look at it through a different lens
and understand there's more. She had a shitty season though, I felt. I know when she making any sense. Yeah, no, I get what you're saying. It's like you can look at it through a different lens and understand it more.
Janna had a shitty season though, I felt.
I know when she was pregnant, she was hormonal,
she was having Braxton Hicks contractions
during one of the dinners when everyone was going crazy
yelling in the hallway, she had a rough go.
Now that we're, my partner and I are expecting a kid.
I know, congratulations.
Thank you, thank you.
But I feel so, I'm so protective of like anyone kind of going through parent,
mothering, parenting, anything.
And I look back now and I'm like, oh my God,
Jana was like very pregnant, very doing all that stuff like.
Maybe we should have given her a little grace to have those boundaries at times.
Yeah, and now, you know, Kristin is very pregnant, but they're not filming right now.
Are they getting along?
TBD.
I want them to get along.
I do too.
I want everyone to get along, but you know, it makes for more interesting television show,
I guess, when we're not.
Is there anyone not getting along in the valley that we'd be surprised?
Does that make sense?
That we'd be most surprised aren't getting along?
Are all the guys getting along?
No. Oh, okay. that we'd be most surprised aren't getting along? Are all the guys getting along?
No.
Oh, okay.
See, cause I thought they had like sort of a united front.
No.
Okay.
And the women?
No.
Okay.
I can't wait to watch.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
It'll be a good one.
Feel like it's been forever since we filmed.
It's gotta be April-ish, right?
Yeah. Okay.
Hopefully. Okay.
We'll take another break.
If y'all were here last week, then you know I just ordered some new outdoor patio furniture
from Wayfair.
It was still in the boxes because the shipping, it literally came the next day.
I wasn't ready to set it all up yet.
And by me, I mean my husband or Kevin from the band. So finally last night we got all of the patio furniture
put together just in time to have a little get-together at the house and
It's so perfect that I'm like actually I think I want more and I will be going on Wayfair to order some more
Wayfair has something for everyone every every style, every room in your house.
Literally, I have something from Wayfair.
When you walk in, you see my swivel chairs.
You see an area rug, a mirror above my fireplace, artwork in the bathroom, my bed.
I mean, the list goes on and on, and now it goes outdoors well.
Wayfair makes it easy to tackle any project with endless inspiration, whether you
need a light refresh or an organization re-haul. It's free, easy delivery, plus they'll even help
you set it up. Literally, when they dropped stuff off, they're like, white glove service?
Where can we put this? Where can we set it up? Brock wanted to do the patio furniture himself,
because you know, but other things I've ordered,
I'm like, yes, please, upstairs in the room.
Thank you so much.
Head over to wayfair.com and find something
that's just your style today.
That's W-A-Y-F-A-I-R.com.
Wayfair, every style, every home.
I'm literally so exhausted.
I've done probably over 20 interviews today.
And now I'm supposed to be interviewing you,
but this is like interview number 21.
We're the day after the Masked Singer though.
Like, and you had so much press this morning.
So I'm trying to take over a little bit.
I barely slept.
I have been up since 5 a.m. in full glam,
doing East Coast satellite press.
Well, give me the cards here.
I'll take over.
What are we talking about here?
Well, I did want to get into a little bit of watch what happens live because-
Did somebody throw you under the bus on watch what happens live?
Well, I mean we talked a little bit about what Sandoval said, but I saw, well, a few clips from Kyle Cook
and he was asked if he thinks it was unfair of Craig not to squash the fake cheating rumors about Paige.
Kyle essentially said he's been on the other end of Craig's PR tactics before also suggesting
that Craig knew exactly what he was doing
by staying out of it.
So-
What do you think?
I mean, I was gonna say, I'm assuming you have some-
Are you on Craig's side or Kyle's side?
You know both of them.
I mean, I'm on Paige's side.
Paige is my girl, so-
Yeah, I love Paige, my little Italian sister.
The thing is, like, I have co-stars and friends
who have done the same thing.
And they say they don't want to comment on stuff because...
But then it takes two seconds to post the thing.
Exactly. It's like they don't want to make it a headline or it's not their place.
But if you believe something is or isn't true, I think you should be honest about that.
And also, outside of this space, it's a different story.
But when you see unwarranted public vitriol and one post could maybe take that away.
Not even a post. Sheena, by the way, Bravo fans are pretty much detectives. You could
just comment. He could comment on an Instagram photo from one of the many Bravo accounts
and everybody would pick up on that, and that would be the headline.
He doesn't even have to post it on his feed
or anyone's feed.
It's just that one comment does it.
Or even, we can even go minuscule or more minuscule.
He could like a comment that people would find,
it would like so easy to just debunk that.
You purposely, I think, don't debunk it,
as if you want the narrative kind of shift a little bit.
Which maybe is his strategy, fine. But let's not pretend that wasn't a strategy.
It's still saying something.
You know, so.
We're all stupid here.
You have the power to correct the narrative by literally,
yeah, one little like, one little comment.
We can all sit here and believe.
Yeah, I feel like with this platform too,
like there's a responsibility to take care
of the people we care about
and whether there is a breakup or something,
like don't lead on to a false narrative
by not saying anything.
Well, I just hope we are all recognizing the fact
that we can all be naive and believe
that somebody might just not want to comment or something,
but that's not the case.
It's easy enough.
We just talked about it's easy enough to debunk it.
And if you don't want to debunk it,
if you wanna throw that other person on the bus
or you like the narrative that's being,
that's totally, you're doing the right thing.
Then you're doing what you want to do.
But let's not pretend you're not stretching.
And I mean, I could admit to this.
I feel like I've been a hundred percent guilty of this before,
but that's also me being like a hundred percent shady
and like doing it on purpose.
I'm sure all of you,
I'm sure all of the cast members of these shows have.
Yeah, no, definitely.
But I feel like, you know, if they are a real friend,
you know, just quickly clarifying the narrative,
it stops the negative spiral.
It can stop the hate so easily.
And I know that that's what I would do
if I saw someone I cared about getting so much hate.
And we want the best for both of them,
and I hope they both, you they both do well and everything.
Yeah, and Kyle and Craig, it's like they're both friends
but I do see the truth in what Kyle was saying here.
Who do you like more, Kyle or Craig?
I'm definitely closer with Kyle.
I've known them for, I might know Craig longer
just because the show's been on longer,
but I think I keep in touch with Kyle Moore. We have more of a friendship outside. Craig I got a little closer with when he was
with Paige because that's my girl. So, you know, I'll probably see him at BravoCon and that's about
it. It seems messy. It seems messier than I thought when they first initially came out with that.
They had broken up. It seemed very respectful and everything. And then all of a sudden it devolved into these sides. And I kind of wonder, like,
it kind of goes back to the shows where it's like they almost want us to take sides. Otherwise,
they wouldn't have shown us. There was these clips that one week where it was like Southern Charm and
Southern Summerhouse both had at the end of their episodes, these little teases for next week.
One of them was teasing Craig, talking to his friends about Paige,
and the other was...
So it's like, that's them wanting us to take sides, right?
Oh, totally.
And so when we do that, of course then, I don't know,
I look at Craig, I picked Paige aside too, and I'm like,
well, you know, I gotta back my girl.
Yeah, absolutely.
And I mean, look at her.
Her career has skyrocketed.
Two nights at freaking Radio City Music Hall.
Oh, are they?
Like, they already did.
They sold out two nights at one of the most
iconic venues ever.
I think, people probably get tired of me saying this.
I think Paige should do scripted stuff.
She's got-
I could see that. I think she'd be a really good scripted actor. Yeah. I think Paige should do scripted stuff. She's got- I could see that.
I think she'd be a really good scripted actor.
Yeah.
I don't know that.
I keep saying that and I don't know why I keep saying that.
I just feel that.
I'm like, I feel like Paige would be good in.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I think she's such a talented woman
and I'm so happy to just see her shining right now.
And you know, if that relationship
is no longer serving her and she's taking care of herself putting herself in her career first like that's
freaking awesome power to her. Craig seems to be doing great too I mean
this business is killing out like that it seems like he's doing fine so no one
has to feel bad for either of them. Exactly. Speaking of taking sides you
know Tom and Ariana that was a big one that everyone had to take sides with
personally. Was it two years ago?
Was it just the anniversary or something?
I think it was like an anniversary recently.
Cause on my phone, it was like a time hop thing came up
and it was like, this happened two years ago.
Like this animal was that long?
So also in that watch what happens live episode,
I saw Tom mentioned that they haven't sold the house.
He's still living in the house and made a comment
suggesting that he's doing most of the work to sell it.
Again, sounded like a bit of a dig, you know?
But I'm like-
Everybody was talking about the batteries on the show,
like how he bought the batteries.
I know.
So stupid.
I have no idea what's going on with that house.
But it's been two years.
Move out of the house.
I don't understand.
Sell the house.
It doesn't even make any sense at this point.
It's like, just, I wouldn't even care about any money.
Like, do you get me out of this situation?
Give it to the state.
No, it's insanity at this point.
It's too much bad energy.
It's too much, I don't know.
I'm a big energy person.
I understand the money and of course I'm not saying
just throw away the money,
but I feel like there has to be a more efficient way
to do this than what we're doing.
And so just get rid of the fucking house, sell it, give it to somebody. Somebody should be able to buy it.
It's pretty easy. It's pretty easy to sell a house right now, especially in that area. It's a nice big house.
What everyone wants is just fires and the whole, the whole city was burned down. People were looking for homes.
It should be pretty easy to sell that fucking house.
Brock had this idea of, you know, like say like NBC or Bravo or someone or just someone rich,
whoever bought the house, but left everything as is and turned it into like
an Airbnb, a museum.
This is the place where like that's smart.
And I'm putting this on the record because this was Brock's idea.
But what a good idea that would be.
You know, leave the Lego artwork, leave the couches.
I should have gotten that Lego. They had that Lego. Was it the Lego artwork of the the couches, all of that. I feel like I should have gotten that Lego.
They had that Lego.
Was it the Lego artwork of the book?
It was like the book cover.
It was, yeah, it was the two of them.
It was one of our fancy AF book cover photos or book photos.
And I was like, as the ghostwriter,
I feel like I should have gotten custody of that.
Yeah.
But I feel like, you know, with like the Hollywood tours and stuff,
oh, here's the Menendez house, here's the O.J. Simpson house,
here's the Tom Sandoval house. Like, here's the Menendez house. Here's the OJ Simpson house. Here's the Tom Zandoval house.
Like these are the bushes that James feed in.
And it could be a moment, but.
But Airbnb, like people would stay in that house.
Do you find the more people are going back
and binging the show?
I feel like I hear on TikTok a lot.
A lot of them will show up on my feed of like younger people
who are watching for the very first time
and giving them their reactions.
More so than I noticed with the other shows on Bravo,
it seems like Vanderpump has a replayability
or is going through that.
Yeah, and I feel like that's why they thought
this was the time to reboot it
because they do have a new audience of younger viewers
and it's like, okay, well, if they are going back
and watching these young 20-somethings work
at the restaurant, then maybe they'll invest
in the new 20 somethings working in the restaurant.
So I'm excited to see what they do.
I kind of feel like it'll accidentally be good.
That's my prediction for the new VPR.
Like I think it'll totally be accidental,
but there'll be some weird thing that'll happen.
Like they'll have their own little mini scandal
and it'll be, I don't know.
You know, Southern Hospitality's having like a breakout season right now.
Okay, see, that's what I was just gonna say.
Sometimes it's also, I think we need to give a couple seasons.
You need a couple seasons to get it going.
I couldn't fully invest in the first season.
They were bad.
The second season, Brock's Brown O'Sheen was on.
We watched a little bit here and there.
I'm like, I'm not clicking.
Third season?
I'm on it.
Like tonight, it's on tonight, right?
Yeah, I, yeah.
Traitors? Finale and reunion. Oh my, it's on tonight, right? Yeah. I, yeah. Traders.
Finale and reunion. Oh my God. Finale and reunion. That's right. I watched the
Southern hospitality reunion, like the, it's in the clubhouse and it's, there's
like a big reveal at the end of the episode and then there's the reunion
directly right after, which I hate when they do the clubhouse reunions. I know.
I mean, I felt like this season, it worked a little bit. Yeah, I thought. It worked a little bit, but it should have been long.
Yeah, but next season you gotta give them the actual-
Why didn't they give them, even the Valley,
I was like, why didn't they get a reunion last year?
Well, I think if it's a clubhouse or no reunion,
it was like, maybe we just pick up cameras
and start filming instead of rehashing
and let's just go right into it.
If there's not an official Valley reunion set this season,
I'll fucking be so pissed.
I feel like there will be. I feel like there will be.
I really think there will be.
There's too much even currently happening that it's like,
you got to pick cameras back up like soon.
When's the reunion?
So we'll see.
But Traders.
Traders so good.
Finale.
I'm so excited.
Who do you want to win?
I was waiting for Carolyn.
Will this be out after?
Yeah, because this is coming out tomorrow.
So we're going to know tonight.
By the time everyone's listening to this podcast, we know.
I was rooting for Carolyn.
I do know.
You do?
Okay.
See, normally I want a spoiler.
But I can't say it, because this will air after.
This does air after, but I don't know yet.
Okay, so I won't say it.
But you tell me, are you excited that this... I'm not going to give you anything. Okay. But I do love know yet. Okay, well, so I won't say it. But you tell me, are you excited that this-
I'm not gonna give you anything.
Okay.
But I do love the show and I would love to see you on it.
And yeah.
I thought Gabby, I was like, she ate.
At that last round table, I texted her
and I was like, oh my gosh.
Do you know how long they film those round tables?
I wanna know.
I have so many questions.
I'm going to have someone from the show on after we have the finale and reunion because
I have so many more questions now.
I've asked MJ a bunch, but I don't even remember all of her answers.
MJ had that moment last season.
How long was Sierra in the coffin?
I need to know.
I know.
I know.
The round tables, I'm just like, how many hours are they at the round table
and how much is being edited down?
Right.
Because there was a part where he's like, you haven't said a word in 15 minutes,
but I'm like, OK, so you see the time has passed, but we're not seeing the 15 minutes.
And I want to know how the wardrobes work, because everyone brings these clothes.
I kind of know how that like you have to have all of your outfits approved ahead of time.
Like you have a stylist, of your outfits approved ahead of time like you have a
Stylish plot or 20 outfits or whatever. I don't know about the budget or anything like that, but I think that each day
They're like, okay
This is the outfit for this day like you have everything planned out ahead of time
Yeah, and Gabby even said when she walked in she's like I didn't know if I would get to this outfit
I'm glad she did because it was awesome
But I'm I just was curious because they do have them all planned,
but they're also so on theme and everything
that I wondered if they get a wardrobe budget
or if it's just sort of baked into their thing.
So everyone that goes on that show
needs a stylist, basically.
You have to.
There's no way you could style yourself for that many looks.
That would be impossible.
So, yeah.
Yeah.
But my biggest thing, that cliffhanger
last week, I'm like, does Brittany change her vote and banish Danielle? Like, if, I don't know,
I just, it, see you can't tell me because I know. I want to. Okay, so not saying who won, but who
did you want to win? Well, I think I was telling you earlier before we were recording,
I love Dorinda.
And so I was devastated that she was the first to go.
But then also, I think, as in the Masked Singer,
there is maybe a benefit to going first because people like me are like,
oh, my God, I wanted to see more.
And it's like leaves you wanting more. Yeah.
But I was disappointed that Dorinda wasn't there.
I am very close to Bob Harper.
I was his ghostwriter before, so I was rooting for Bob. I co-wrote his last book. I was the ghost writer for two of the people on Traders.
And I was like, I would have been, I feel like I could have done a good job on that. Cause I
know a lot of, not just those two, but I know a lot of the other people that were on this season.
I was like, Oh, that would have been fun. I'm not famous, but. No, that. Yeah, Bob was a friend and I was like,
oh, I would have loved to, for him to make it farther.
And you are, you have an iconic podcast.
You have two books, you're a New York Times bestseller.
You're assumed to be dad.
You are a big deal.
You're iconic.
So don't forget that.
But the reunion, oh my God.
I'm like Danielle and Carolyn, Bob the Drag Queen and Rob.
I mean.
I have a question for you if you were to go on it.
Like, would you get mad at people?
Would you take it personally?
Probably, depending on who it is.
I feel like it's hard not to,
especially when it's someone you're friends with
and if they just stab you in the back, I get it.
It's a game.
I'm not a gamer.
I am a reality star and I get my feelings hurt
when my friends hurt them.
That's what makes the show fun to watch though,
is to see how different it is for someone like Dolores
to play versus someone like, I don't know.
Any of the survivor Big Brother people, absolutely.
I'm surprised they didn't have more challenge people.
I know Trishell won last year
and they had Wes on this season.
I'm a big challenge, MTV challenge fan.
And those people I think are a lot more competitive.
They have to be physical
and do the political game on their show.
And I feel like they're really set up
for a game like the Traders,
but they only had Wes I think was the only one this season.
I think so.
But I do love my challenge.
I get excited.
I talk about Bravo mostly on my show,
but I get excited about the challenge.
And then Johnny Bananas, I mean, he was first to go last.
But last season, he's good for TV though.
Well, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And people, I mean, yeah, he makes good TV.
And Wes too, like, even Wes frustrates me so much,
but even on the challenge, those guys,
I'm like, oh, they make good TV.
They do.
But I always root for, my girl's on the challenge.
Like, I'm more of an OG.
I'm always rooting for the women over the men
on any show.
Yeah. Oh, yeah.
But it's like the Veronica or like the Beth.
Like I love watching those like old real worlders that like were,
when I was a little kid, I was watching on TV.
I love that they're still bringing them back sometimes.
Yeah.
Or even Mark Long or like some of those early, early.
That was like when I watched, like when I was probably too young,
maybe even to be watching.
But I guess when I look, like when I was probably too young maybe even to be watching, but
I guess when I look back and I think about it, I did like want to be on the real world when I was
younger, but then I got into acting and I was like, I don't want to do reality TV, but now that I've
done it, I'm like, this is kind of what I always wanted to do. You know, I thought of you because
they're filming that Jonas Brothers Christmas movie and you were pizza girl, of course, and I'm like,
I wish they would just have pizza girl of course and I'm like I wish
they would just have pizza girl pop in like I would love something like that or like do something
bring pizza girl back. Uh-huh I love that I I think there is a comeback for pizza girl in the future.
You're saying like there's a chance for pizza girl to come back. There's always a chance. Oh my god.
Maria the pizza girl she deserves another moment. Where would you like to see her open up or where
would you like to see her at? Just put me on stage and sing to me. I don't know something like I think
it would just be. I feel like it's gonna happen. Maybe it's all happening soon. Let's manifest that.
All happening. I mean they were on Watch What Happens Live like they now know Sheena from
Vanderpump Rules is the pizza girl they put that all together. They have to have you come out for something.
My friend Christina is really good friends with Frankie Jonas and I know he
watches the show Kevin watches the show so I'm like okay so bring you out come out for something. My friend Christina is really good friends with Frankie Jonas, and I know he watches
the show, Kevin watches the show, so I'm like, let's collab boys.
Okay, so bring you out on tour with something.
Let's manifest that.
Let's do a song.
Ooh.
That would be iconic.
Let's do it.
Let's do it.
Remix to Pizza Girl.
You have to let me just like visit or something.
You have to let me at the studio.
Okay, we're manifesting this.
We're manifesting a lot this year for me.
I'm being honest though, you have to let me come to the studio. If you go to the studio with the Jonas Brothers, you have to let me at the studio. Okay, we're manifesting this. We're manifesting a lot this year for me. I'm being honest though, like you have to let me come to the studio.
Like if you go to the studio with the Jonas Brothers, you have to let me come.
Okay, what if it's not in LA?
Are you going to fly to wherever we are?
We'll see.
But I want the option.
And same with Jaycee.
If you ever get back together with Jaycee Shazay, like to collaborate on something,
like you just have to let me come with you.
Like I don't care where it is or what it is.
You have to invite me and if you don't, I'm gonna be pissed. Okay.
I'll remember that.
Glad we settled that.
So as I said earlier, I've done so many interviews today.
I don't know how I am still speaking.
I am running purely on caffeine, Celsius coffee
and green tea and water.
How dare you make this all about you, Sheena. You're always making it all about Sheena.
This whole thing was all about Sheena.
Yeah. But thank you for being here to help make it about me.
When I was thinking about this week's episode,
I was like, I really hope Danny's free because I just thought it would be so iconic.
I have to say, I was excited too because I was excited to come here and talk to you
about Vanderpump rules and all that kind of stuff because it's not always that I get
to ask all these questions. No, but closer to the book coming out you know I'm gonna
come on your show and we'll talk more things you can grill me and I'll say as
much as I can. One juicy detail, give me one thing from the book. Something about
Vanderpump. Literally. Oh you talk about Lisa Vanderpump?
You threw her under the bath?
So, this week we do a segment on my show called The Jack's Hole.
You know, Andy has his jackhole.
What's the date of the book?
I have a jack's hole. July 22nd.
July 22nd, okay. You'll give it to me early, right?
Yeah, absolutely.
So, this week is going to none other than me, myself, and I, because
we're making everything else about me, I'm making this about me. So I figured, you know,
it is time to make me the Jack's Hole. And I had to collect my thoughts and write them
down because I knew by the time I got to the Jack's Hole of this episode, I was going to be brain dead and fully caffeinated.
So it's, it's for a few reasons.
Okay.
My, my main reason is when the opportunity for the Masked Singer came in.
Immediately.
It was a hard no.
It was, I don't know why you're even calling me and we're having this conversation.
I told you, I never wanted to do this show.
Not because it's not an iconic show, but because I can't sing.
Everyone in the world has told me I can't sing.
I don't want to embarrass myself further.
Purely fear and insecurity, feeling intimidated
and letting the noise of what everyone else says
I can't do get to me.
Fuck it all.
But I'm usually a good sport at being the bruh of the joke,
but I feel like, you know, everyone has a limit,
and mine was singing on national television.
Again, my team convinced me to do it.
A great call with Deena Katz.
I felt like, okay, it's uncomfortable,
but I'm being pushed to do it.
I think I can do it. I think I can do it.
I said I would do it, but then I manifested.
If I do this, I want to go home first.
I said that.
I put it out there.
Beware of the power of manifestations and intentions because people, sometimes they
come through.
And through the process of doing this show, I really loved it. It helped me see a side of myself
that I felt I had become disconnected with.
It forced my-
The musical part or the bravery?
Both, honestly.
Just singing in front of a live audience with my,
the last time I sang without Auto-Tune or a backing track
was karaoke probably a decade ago with two other people up there with me.
I don't have that confidence to just sing with my raw voice and no backup or autotune.
But do you like it? Do you like singing?
I like the version of me that took chances. I love singing. I wish I was better at it. I wish I had more range. I get in my head when I'm singing my daughter lullabies at night
because I'm like, but she loves my singing.
But I'm just like, my voice isn't what it once was.
I can't hit the notes that I could hit when I was 26.
When I recorded that, my voice doesn't have the same range.
So what were the notes on there that were?
Were there ones that were a lot of notes? just I mean not that it's that high but yeah
Yeah, there are parts that when I perform the screamo version, I'm like Lando using that part. Like I just
And but I think she if you like it you got to get all those voices out of your head
Well, and that's the thing and this version of me took chances
I didn't let others influence my decisions
other than the decision to do it.
I was influenced in a positive way.
And the fearlessness that I had seen just whittle away.
I'm so proud of myself.
And I feel like by rejecting the opportunity
or saying I wanted to go home early,
I was protecting myself feeling like I have agency in this process.
Like if I just do it for one episode and then I'm like,
oh yeah, well, I wanted to go home the first night.
That was my decision.
That was just me protecting myself.
Totally. But I'm blessed with so many amazing opportunities in this life.
Things that the show has brought, headlining a show in Las Vegas.
And I don't take any of that for granted, but I'm also very accustomed to things not flowing in my direction.
You know, getting a cringe at it and all of the things.
And people have also said that I'm jealous of others in my orbit.
It's like, I feel like even worse, I've just grown to accept it,
to expect that I'll be passed over, that I'm not going to be good at something.
I've just lost so much of that confidence.
Girl, you can't get that back.
I know. I think this show has brought it back.
As many people as are...
If there's 10 people hating on you,
there's also 10 people that are out there that are jealous
of the opportunity that you got there.
And so it goes all the ways, but I think there's always,
especially on reality TV, like we watch these shows
and we're always gonna kind of laugh at you guys
and stuff like that.
For sure.
No matter what you do, no matter how you're doing it
or what you're doing, like we're gonna, you know,
so try to black out those voices.
Cause you're on Sheena fucking Shea.
Right, and Sheena fucking Shea wrote a book
and I even talk about this more in my book.
And I-
And you weren't putting your hand out to shake it,
but I still wanted to do it.
Yes, shake it.
No, cause I really do want you, I want you to,
cause I see it in you that you get that a little insecure
and it's like, you're just on the mass singer singing
in front of millions of people.
Like just own it and be proud and like, fuck the haters.
Fuck anyone who's gonna say,
oh, she's always about herself
or jealous of this person or that person.
Like everybody's jealous sometimes.
Yeah, like now it made me realize
like I do have more power in my story
than I previously realized.
People like watching you and they're going to keep watching you.
We're going to keep laughing and rooting and all of the things.
But try to block it out because there are so many people that do genuinely love you.
If I expect to fail, I probably will fail.
I want to look at things differently moving forward.
I feel like if I don't think certain opportunities are going to be available to me,
then they probably won't be.
And if I don't believe in myself, nobody else will.
And if I want that to change, you know, change how others see me,
then I have to change how I see myself, how I treat myself, how I talk about myself.
And I think that now, watching it back, like, I'm so proud about myself. And I think that now watching it back,
like I'm so proud of myself.
And I'm like, I did that.
You did that.
Like it was so scary and I did that.
Yeah, and it was, I can only imagine how anyone out there,
if they're discounting that,
like imagine being on a stage where you know,
Terrifying.
Five million, 10 million, however many million,
it's a network show. Yeah. There are so many people watching it stage where you know five million, 10 million, however many million people.
It's a network show.
There are so many people watching it and you're in a silly costume and you're singing.
Like there's a lot to be self-conscious about in a situation like that.
And I hope anyone out there, if they had anything negative to say about you, I hope they even
just for a second, put themselves in their shoes because it takes a lot of bravery to get up on a stage like that.
And it's scary.
And you're dealing with so many people judging you,
not just people who know you,
but people who watch that show
that have never watched Vanderpump Rolls.
And you're probably thinking,
oh, well, that person doesn't know who I am.
Or what are they gonna think?
There's a lot mentally.
And so I hope you know that.
It's like, just be proud and fuck it all.
Everything's ridiculous.
Everyone look outside. Everybody's trying to get jobs here.
This industry is like, kind of such a nightmare now.
It's like, you should just be proud that you're killing it.
And you're on a hundred shows this week, Sheena.
Like you should not be so passionate at all.
You should be like, I'm on a hundred shows.
No, so iconic.
I just want to thank-
Just enjoy it.
Just enjoy this little week or this time right now.
I am.
It feels like a dream.
I'm like, wait, someone pinched me.
I love this.
We got to have you here more.
But I mean, thank you to you for being here today.
Thank you to everyone who reached out, sent me such positive messages.
Thank you to Deena Katz for believing in me, giving me this amazing costume
and opportunity. And you know, the Masked Singer, my producer Nate, like everyone who made this,
I didn't even know this was a dream and it became a reality. And I got to face one of my biggest
fears in a safe space in a costume in front of millions of viewers, but I did it and it was
iconic. You was iconic.
You are iconic.
Did you get to keep any of the costume?
No.
Okay, we need to get the hat or something.
I know, right?
Some part of it.
Yes, but seriously.
Thank you for having me.
I really appreciate it.
Congratulations.
