Hi, I'm Wendy Zuckerman and brand new episodes of Science Versus are coming.
And we are going to give you our biggest season ever.
We're tackling longevity and asking what can you do to live longer?
This paper brought something really so exciting.
Makes me feel so young.
It makes me feel so young. It makes me feel so young. We'll find out if those supplements that
influence a spruiking can actually help you live a long and healthy life, or whether instead you
need to be getting a blood transfusion from your niece. The research is completely bonkers,
and we're going to meet the heroic mice that are helping us to test all this out.
How do you measure a mouse's
grip stroke? Yes, so it's a little bar and then the mouse grabs it and you just gently pull
the mouse tail until they release it. So they tug and you can measure.
You pull the mouse tail. Just very slightly.
We're diving back into the science of Ozempic because we've read so many scary stories about what these kinds of drugs can do.
Debilitating gastric issues.
I'm talking she is vomiting daily, hospitalized repeatedly.
You're losing equal amounts of muscle and fat.
Now, does that improve how you look in a bathing suit?
Sure. But does that improve how long you in a bathing suit? Sure. But does that improve how
long you're going to live? Uh-uh. We're going deep into your subconscious to find out what
our dreams really mean. I mean, think of the dream of the person you would never be interested in
sexually, who you find yourself in bed with in the dream. Yes, yes.
You wake up and you go, why did I have that dream?
What the f*** is going on?
So it was crazy because we were communicating with someone who was dreaming.
This season, we're packing a bowl full of science on cannabis and finding out what is this drug doing to our brain and our body?
Can it improve your mental health?
Or is that just plain bong?
Maybe something's kicking in.
And it's, like, exactly what my brain wants right now.
That's not your cannabis from the 60s anymore, right?
Like, this is a whole new drug we're
exploring whether you need to balance your hormones if the abortion pill is safe if
menopause is the most horrifying thing on the planet because we've been hearing stories and
it doesn't sound good we'll find out how much protein you need to be eating if the male g-spot
exists and if squirting is real, yes, Science Versus is finally
tackling squirting.
This season is gonna go
off.
I mean, I don't know of anything else
that compares to this. Like, wow,
this is really happening.
Like, I remember thinking, is this
an April Fool's joke? Like,
is this a f***ing April Fool's joke?
Science Versus will be back in your
feeds on March 7th. March 7th. That's Science VS on Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts.
Oh, it's Wendy Zuckerman. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Be cool, be cool. It's like, oh my god, is this happening?
