From the USSF approved territories of Georgia and Kentucky,
and also from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia,
this is The Monday Review.
Hey, everybody, it's the Monday Review.
I'm coming to you, not from Georgia, but from Turin,
Pia Monte, Italia.
Got the snow-capped mountains, not too far away.
How are you doing?
How are you doing?
You've been there two days and you already look Italian.
Yeah.
Do you get a haircut there?
Funny how that works.
I got a haircut back in, you know, back in the U.S. of A.
But I got to say, man, this model of the scuff junket?
Yeah.
It's viable.
Everybody who's not here should be here, including you two.
So what is here?
Why are you in Italy?
Explain to the people, bills.
You know, we get thousands of new listeners every episode.
So maybe you should explain what's going on.
We're in Torino, Turin, because we went to the Yuvay Milan game last night.
There's 11 scuffed listeners plus me and George Qureshi.
We're here for that game.
And then we're going to go to Como, see Nico Joaquini, hopefully, in a promotion race up at Lake Como in the middle of the week.
and then we'll be in Venice at the end of the week.
Unfortunately, Boussio and Tessman are in just like a super exciting promotion push themselves against Como, actually.
And we're not going to see that game because it got moved from Saturday to Sunday.
So we're going to miss it.
But let's not dwell on the negatives that we're still going to be in Venice.
We're going to go to the stadium and check it out.
It's going to be great.
But, man, I couldn't be happier.
I'm having the time of my life.
That's beautiful to hear.
As beautiful to hear, Adam Bells.
You look like you got on the sweater of your life.
You know what I'm saying?
That they might be cashmere or something picked up.
You look like Taylor Twelman.
He looked like.
Oh, no.
He really do, though.
He's a handsome man.
Well, he is.
He's not bad.
He's a good-looking man.
I think he's a good-looking man.
it's a smiling.
There isn't you smile as much.
It's just great. It's just great.
So we flew into Milan,
me and
George and then Michael Craven,
who is a podcast listener from
Louisiana. So
the three of us flew in. We took a bus from
Milan to Turen,
which is like two hours.
And it was interesting. It's like
driving through
like the flatlands of Illinois.
You know, it's just flat farmland.
The farmhouses look a little different.
They look a little bit more like fancy,
but it's like that.
But then you realize, like, you look off to the north
and you got the Alps right there, the Alps.
And then we get into Turin,
we kind of settled down.
Later that night, we go to the game, Yuvain Milan,
which was, should we just get right into that?
like what that was like going to that game.
I mean, it was, it was kind of a paradox
because on one hand, it was thrilling, like for me,
we're going to this like this cathedral
of global football, Calcio,
and four Americans are there.
Three of them are in the starting line up.
One is on the bench.
Surely he's going to come.
on. Like if he doesn't come on at halftime, he's coming on shortly afterwards. And so to me,
that's just like, it was amazing. Like, here we are at Juventus's home stadium. And there's like
all this American influence. On the other hand, it's a, it was kind of a boring game, right? I mean,
it was a zero zero draw, obviously. Both teams kind of know where they're landing in the table,
yada, yada, yada. So that was done.
a paradox, but I mean, man, it was really cool. It's like they, they, the big,
the, one of the big things I noticed about it is Alian Stadium. It's, it's just, it's a barebone
stadium. It's like, you go in there to watch soccer. That's it. You know, having just come
from Jerry World in Dallas, whereas it's like, it's like all kinds of bells and whistles,
you got to go through mazes to get to different parts of the stadium. I mean, you just, you just
You walk, you get your ticket scan, you walk in, you just boom, boom, boom, you're in your seat and you're watching soccer.
Something beautiful about that to me.
The jumbotrons are kind of small.
Yeah.
It's wonderful.
That sounds like, you know, the Alliance and Lynn Family Stadium here in Louisville got a little something in common.
You know what I'm saying?
That's, oh, beautiful to hear you.
No, I mean, no, for real.
And it's not even that big of a stadium.
It's like 41,000 seats or something.
And then you think about all the stuff that's happened there on Champions League 9th.
You know?
Yeah.
So anyway.
Bells, now, all be it for me to disagree with the white man and the,
and the cashmere sweater on top of the button down, on top of the button down,
talking to me right now that was at the game.
But I did feel like that had a little bit more possess, a little bit more juice than the
average Uvei match.
Even though it didn't end nil-nil, I thought it was all right.
It was an R.A watch.
I didn't want to rip
No, you're right, you're right, you're right.
I was sort of anticipating your guys' skepticism by saying that.
But yeah, I thought actually was a pretty decent game at 0-0.
Way I had a way I mean, we can get into it, but way I had a great game.
He clamped Raffa Laos.
Clamps, do you?
The fans really appreciated that.
Yeah.
And then he put like one ball in in the first half that was like somebody should have been
there to put that in the goal.
And yeah, he had a pretty good game.
I thought Pulisig played quite well.
Like, definitely.
Eunice had a rough game.
But along with the mistakes, he had some good moments, too.
There was like one time where he worked Yildiz outside the box, you know, kind of, like,
embarrassed him and drew like a sigh of appreciation from the crowd.
You know, everybody was like kind of into that even though it was the opposing team.
So I can see that one coming.
Yeah, I agree with you.
I can see that one coming.
You know, I mean, Eunice was just in that spot where it was just prime.
Like, I stood up out of my seat.
I said, do it to him, Eunice.
Do it to him.
And he did do it to him.
You know what I'm saying?
Yonis was left with that foot out.
You know what I'm saying?
Eunice had skipped past him.
That's the one where he took the shot and got caught, right?
And then, well, and then later.
Yeah, and got hurt.
So, yeah, that was beautiful.
And I want to say thank you to Italy, you know, for whatever reason that you decided to do it.
Last week, while we were lamenting the loss of surge, I talked about the fact that, you know,
like after we talked about it for 10 minutes, I really landed on the opinion that, you know,
we'll be all right mostly because most of our player pool has played right back.
And here we go, you know, to start off this match, we get a unit start at right back and a 10-way of start at right wing back.
And so that was beautiful to see.
And it was beautiful to see these potential options playing out just to see how we go.
And I think it went.
Yeah, I mean, that was one of the takeaways from the game is like the right-back problem solved.
You know, we got not just Wea starting it right back and Unis starting it right back,
but then Wes comes on it right back for Wea late in the game.
We got some options.
I'm wondering if maybe seeing this pool of sake live has possibly reinvigorated your feelings for him.
Because I think watching on TV, you might have seen this.
It's kind of a quiet performance.
But maybe being there in person has reawakened you.
Well, yes, it has reawakened me a little bit.
He was quiet as he.
as you know for the first like half hour or so
but man his decisions were on point
like there are lots of little lots of like little decisions
I noticed I noticed I didn't even put this in the notes
but I noticed he and layout
you remember early in the season there wasn't like
a ton of chemistry between the two of them
little frosty I remember
yeah a little frosty
not frosty anymore
I remember a celebration where either was a celebration
where Pulisic jumped into his body and lay out just hung him out to dry.
Yep.
That's what was.
Yeah, it was kind of awkward.
Yeah.
But now Rafa's going out of his way to dab him up, to, to put his hand on Pulisic's head, tassel his hair, you know?
I mean, you could see it on the field.
They're like, they're, I don't know that Pulisic was doing that to Rafa Liao so much,
but Raffa Liao was doing it
to the question Pulisic.
I do wonder now
with the precedent being
that the relationship
started off a little frosty
maybe as he was getting clamped by Tim
he was trying to suck
some of Christian's life force out of him.
You know what I'm saying?
Trying to transfer some of that
some of that, you know,
American ingenuity into his self
so that he could get the,
get the answers to the test.
You know what I'm saying?
So he could solve him.
He said, give me some of that Thomas Edison, you know?
Yeah, exactly.
Exactly.
I think that's what he was trying to find because, you know, anything he did try for the most part was it wasn't going too well.
It gets old team all there.
But it is, I got to give him his props, though.
He, like when the ball is at his feet, there's a feeling.
There's a feeling in the room, you know, that's something might happen.
And it's not that way with most.
players.
That's fair.
So, yeah.
But I, go ahead, go ahead.
I guess I just wanted to, to emphasize the fact that Tim Wea played really well.
You know what I'm saying?
Like while we went through the options, my number one, and it remains my number one is
Tim Wea to replace Serge.
And I think he just, he showed you why.
he showed you why he you know people had questions about his d uh like i said um he played
already defense played a r a defense uh for lill in a back four i think that's all right for
lord lill in a back four last season i really had no question that he could do it in the buildup
you know what i'm saying he's he's still itself he provides some dynamism back there the ability
to change angles off the carry.
You know what I'm saying?
The ability to combine, get up the pitch, you know, all these things, man.
I just, he showed it all for you in this match.
If you have, if you are still unsettled by the absence of Sergenio,
which I think we probably all are at this point, you know,
it's only been a week.
It's only been a week.
Really?
It's only been a week.
It's like a month.
month of this year.
It's only been a week since we found out.
But if you miss this match, go ahead and watch it back.
Go ahead and watch it back.
Because I think our right spot, our right back spot will be fine.
If you were concerned about his D, I think this was, this game was extremely encouraging.
You know?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Let's keep it moving.
Defense.
Yes.
Yes.
Defense is what I meant.
I said it myself.
I got caught too.
Yeah.
I got to, speaking of defense, I got to say, you know, there is like a little bit of a,
there's a little bit of a word you might hear in American soccer that it's only Americans
who care about, care about a tough tackle or the British, you know, get stuck in.
And, man, that's, again, I mean, it's never been true, but it was reinforced again to me
last night.
Man, these Italians, they just love,
they just love a tough tackle.
And even better, they love it when
a defender, bodies
a player, takes the ball away
like it was nothing,
you know? So like
Danilo takes the ball from
I forget who it was.
Somebody. Ruben Loftus cheek.
Took it from Ruben Loftus cheek. Put him on the ground with his shoulder
into the chest. Just took the ball,
kind of dribbled away.
and then played it up the sideline.
And the crowd went nuts.
Like, they can love that stuff.
And I thought that was pretty interesting.
You love them loving that.
I do.
I do love the universality of it, you know?
The revelation that it is universal,
that we all love this.
Man.
You know?
That's the thing about it.
And, like, people, people love,
to tell you different. I love to tell you different. How we got it all wrong here, how blah, blah, blah, which maybe we do have certain things wrong. Like, if you are selected, if you are selected players based on athleticism and these players are prepubescent, you know what I'm saying?
That maybe you should foster the young kids who hit puberty later and make sure that they have the same opportunities as all the early developers, et cetera, et cetera. I'm sure there are plenty of things we do wrong. But,
The idea that at the highest levels,
athleticism is like an also ran trait that,
you know, maybe it's good to have, but you don't need, like,
come on, man.
And not just athleticism, but physicality and want to and all those different types of things.
Yeah, it's just, it's ridiculous that we even had to have these discussions.
But, you know, we, we,
I mean, we did need to audit our entire soccer thinking development process, etc., etc.
When you miss a World Cup, you do that.
But, you know, I'm happy that I think everybody's realizing this now and we're coming to a consensus.
Hopefully, hopefully, it can't come to consensus on anything nowadays.
But I hope everybody realizes this.
This can.
Yeah.
I don't want to, you know, dominate here.
At the game, though.
I got kind of, I think one, at least, yeah.
Okay, so one more big point.
Well, not one more, but at least one, another big point is,
I notice that like going to these games, you know,
you get this other message that these games are like life and death.
Everything depends on the action on the field to the fans out of Juventus game.
Juventus is the, it's the classic European club, right?
And I realize it's more
It's the soccer watching experience is much more
Like the Monday review
Than I realized
Okay
At least in Taryn
I haven't been in a lot of places
You know
I haven't seen how it is in different places
But it's like you got you got like kind of
Ball Knower comedians
Sort of dotted through the stands
And they're essentially performing
for their friends.
Beautiful.
And their friends are all
laughing at their jokes.
So there was a guy behind me.
I asked them at the end,
I'm not sure if they were joking with me or not.
They said they were Swiss Germans.
Could be true, might not be true.
But it's not that far,
we're not that far from Switzerland here,
so it totally makes sense.
And there was this guy behind us
who was just like,
he was going off the whole time.
and his friends were just laughing and, you know, sort of like working off him.
So there was a time when Eunice got worked by, I think, Millick on the left side, left corner,
the ball gets played in, and then there's a layoff back, like a backwards layoff in the box,
and it doesn't connect.
And this guy behind me who said, I think was not speaking Italian most of the time,
but he goes, all of a sudden he goes, Santa Maria, you know, like really, really loud,
like exaggerated Italian.
Like, everybody starts laughing.
And then another time, Gatti shoots from distance,
which I know you will appreciate this, Vince.
Gatti shoots from distance.
This older Larry David looking guy, like a few aisles away,
stands up and does like all the stereotypical Italian gesticulating.
And, you know, he says, like, puttala, which I don't even,
I tried to Google it.
I don't know what it means.
I assume it means like something with an F word, you know?
Yeah.
And then another time and, you know, everybody around him starts laughing.
You know, it's like, it's just like bros meaming with each other.
Like they care what happens in the game, but they're mostly there to like experience it with their friends.
You know?
And I'll give a couple more examples when Gatti got in the box another time, the guy behind me,
the one who said Santa Maria, really, really.
exaggerated Italian.
He goes,
Gatti Ronaldo.
Like,
what's Gatti doing in the box?
You know?
Yo.
And these two people think they me.
I know.
They think they mean, man.
I have been,
I have been just offended
by the amount of,
you know,
the license that,
that Gatti has,
Gatti has an attack just to be,
even in it in the first place.
It's just incredible to me.
It's just incredible.
Like, he is a foundational part of the Uventus attack, which tells you about the
Juventus attack.
But, yeah, I'm happy that, you know, I'm just not an angry man yelling at clouds.
You know, I got people with me.
I got community.
I wish you all about that.
You got a very large community in Duren.
And then there was one more one where the guy, where,
they love Kiyahsha in in Turin.
I think with good reason.
He comes on.
His first touch, he just destroys Eunice.
And this was right after Eunice was doing a throw in.
He took forever to throw it in.
The crowd was jeering intensely at him because he wasn't throwing it in.
And then the ball goes over to the other side.
It gets switched back to Kiyahsa.
And he takes, like, his first touch is taking that switch down and eliminating Eunice.
in one smooth motion.
Oh, I remember that one.
Do you?
Yeah.
And the guy behind me is like, Bella, Bella.
And then he plays it across, and it gets, the cross gets cut out right at the six.
And it was a really dangerous moment.
And then he goes, Christo Santo, you know, like really, really exaggerated Italian.
It was amazing.
I wish I could, like, just live in that moment for the rest of my life.
But so I just thought that was kind of cool.
to realize that it's not
it's not like a bunch of people
like frothing at the mouth
like hoping for a win
like everybody wants a win
but it's just people want to go
have a good time at the ballpark
you know which we can all
identify with
of course of course
well I'm happy
I'm happy you got to be there
Adam Bells
I'm upset that I didn't get to be there
you know I'm saying well
I ain't tell you this Bells
but the
you would be amazing if you were
here, both of you, but especially you, Vince, because you know, you're so invested in the
Juventus situation.
I'm not offended by that.
I hope you're not offended by that.
Oh, yeah.
So the work meeting that we have scheduled with a big client for May the first, it just
got moved like this Thursday.
So, anyway.
Isn't that how it goes?
That is how it goes.
But it is what it is.
I'll be the next one.
I'll tell you that.
But yeah, man.
Happy you made it.
Where's the next one?
That's the question.
I mean, George is at least as fired up as I am.
So the next one will be soon, I think.
A couple other things.
It is kind of cool to see the stadium because you can see the snow cap mountains all the way behind it.
Yeah, it's kind of like up.
It's kind of up.
It's very bare bones, like I said, but you can see that those snow cap mountains.
Torino is a beautiful city.
It's kind of like, I guess what I sort of imagined Italy to be.
This is my first time being in Italy.
But lots of like paving stones and intricate buildings and like giant wooden doors.
It's set into like ancient stonework.
It's really cool.
Great restaurants.
Lots of pastries.
and cappuccinos and the whole, you know, the whole thing.
I heard talk of a tasting menu.
Yeah, the rest of the crew is a block and a half away from where I sit right now,
having a tasting menu.
And people are, Italians are, to me, seem really friendly.
If you try to speak a little Italian, man, they just, they give you this the warmest smile.
I mean, seriously.
I try to throw a per favor at the end of everything I say at a restaurant or a,
bar and man they they just everybody just loves that you know which means please that's all it means
please that's beautiful i feel bad we're keeping you i feel bad we're keeping you from this
adventure right now i know well no no no should we just let him go to that go and explore no we got to
talk about paxed and arson first you know okay it's going to feel a little bit silly but we can do it
let me say let me let me let me let me say a couple more things well i have a i have a
clip from earlier today.
We went to this great sandwich shop after we went to the Royal Museum.
And it's called them Royal Museum because Torino used to be the capital of Italy when they first unified back in the middle of the 19th century.
But we went to this sandwich shop called Master Sandwich.
And we interviewed the guy about Westman.
He was at the game last night too.
It's a big city, but it's not like New York or something.
And so we talked about why he didn't play.
And I asked him, well, here, listen, listen.
Do you think the reason he didn't play is because of the contract negotiations?
No.
I don't know because the situation of McKenney is strange because every year they told us,
he's been sold, he's been sold, but he sacrificed, his struggle.
You can't have a team without a player the struggle for everyone.
And he does his job so good for me, huh?
So the sound, that humming sound you hear is him, he's like, he's like cutting the meat.
while he's talking to me, you know, he's cutting the, he's cutting the pastrani.
Well, you got the, I mean, I mean, I know, like, I don't know, maybe this goes without saying,
but you get in the real Italian experience.
You know, well, you know, who knows?
That's beautiful.
It's beautiful, man.
Please keep interviewing Italians in very stereotypical Italian situations about for next week.
I wish I had done more.
last night, you know.
I need it.
But he loved the sacrifice, the struggle, you know.
I love that.
I love the way you put that.
One other thing, which is, I don't know, it's not terribly related to soccer,
but we went to the Royal Museum, like I said.
And there's a lot of violent sort of religious paintings and tons of Roman Empire stuff.
Even underneath the palace, there's like a, there's a, there's a,
the amphitheater that they unearthed,
and you can kind of look through a giant window at it in the basement.
But one thing I learned, which I had no idea about,
is that in the Roman Empire at various times, across it,
they worshipped ISIS, the Egyptian goddess.
It was the cult of ISIS.
And I want to read you guys this poem.
Maybe we cut it if it doesn't resonate.
but it was this hymn that was up on the wall.
And it goes like this,
I am the beginning and the end.
I am honored and scorned.
I am the prostitute and the saint.
I am married and a maiden.
I am the mother and the daughter.
I am the limbs of my mother.
I am barren and my children are many.
I am she who married magnificently
and I have no husband.
I am the one who brings children, and I do not bear children.
I am the consolation of labor pains.
I am the bride and the bridegroom.
I am the incomprehensible silence, and the idea often brought to mind.
I am the voice sounding throughout the world and the word appearing everywhere.
I am the sounding of my name, for I am knowledge and ignorance.
I am shame and bravery.
I am without shame.
I am full of shame.
I am power and I am trepidation.
I am conflict and peace.
Listen to me, for I am the scandalous and magnificent one.
Yo.
So just ruminate on that.
I'm prepared to start with the ISIS if we want to make that decision as a group.
I have to tell you, Danielle Raina was spitting.
Full of shame, but shameless in the same time, baby.
Yes.
You know what I'm saying?
That's good.
That was powerful stuff.
That's one of the, I probably the best show.
I think so.
I think it's not probably, definitely.
So we went to the museum.
We went to the sandwich shop and interviewed the guy I just played you the clip of.
Then we played some pickup on some kind of very slippery paving stones in a park near Central Torino.
I got a shout out some of the people who showed up who weren't even on the trip, you know?
Just people who are scuffed listeners who are kind of around.
There was a guy named Otis who's from San Francisco, graduated from college last May.
think and he's just traveling around kind of he's backpacking i think it's fair to say he came and
played he was a good he's a good soccer player he came and play with us he was at the get together last
night after the game and uh so i well i feel like i should shout him out in particular but there was
also zach sean came from berlin berlin um yeah so we're doing another we're doing another one
of these soon. I'm, I'm prepared to say it after two days on this trip. Well, let's do it,
maybe. Yeah, let's do it. Exactly. Should we move on to some other stuff that happened?
You guys are going to have to tell me what's going on. Well, yeah, I guess maybe we keep catching him up on the key points.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. You want to kind of leave this and I'll throw some stuff in if, you'd make sure he's all caught up.
Yeah. Well, I appreciate it. I guess, as we alluded to, right,
The big thing, right, is who's going to be our right back?
And so just to make sure if we didn't make it clear enough through the tales of Adam Bell's entering, you know what I'm saying.
So we got four main candidates here.
Eunice has bogarded his way into the conversation just by virtue of being an African-American playing soccer.
So he got to start right back, but nobody else could.
So we got Joe Scali, Eunice Musa, Weston McKinney, Timothy Weyer.
Tim and Wes both played very well at right wingback against Milan.
All right.
Tim, so Tim had a decent number of attacking contributions.
It looked very good out wide.
was getting to the inline fairly regularly,
regularly, that ball that Bells talked about that,
I think it like bounced in the box.
It was like feathered then.
Yeah, right, right.
Yeah.
Little lofted soft ball that just hit,
almost hit the penalty spot.
Just waiting for somebody to just catch on to it.
But anyway, great game from Tim.
Number one for me.
Anyway, Weston came on, did this thing probably slightly more reserved from Tim.
You know, two different players, right?
Weston not the take-on type of dude, get to the endline type of dude necessarily.
His stuff was more, I guess I would say, like, distribution-based from right-wing back.
I remember him?
Yeah, but let me jump in here a little bit.
Because maybe he's more distribution-based.
Maybe he's not getting to the end-line as much.
he's definitely sort of cook he cooks more from that wide spot than tim does like he he's he's a
protagonist out there and i think a way that tim isn't quite you know like tim tim will take you to
the end line if he is like his backs against the wall he's got to do it but but west will
west is trying to create and i mean maybe i'm making like a distinction that's so subtle it's
almost meaningless, but
if you want to put them
1A and 1B, I mean, that's
that's fine with me. That's fine on me.
I guess it depends on
alternatives for each.
Each particular position
that they're vacating.
Unis,
mostly,
Waki, what would you say?
I would say he was probably,
I would say let's just have him play
in Sanamette.
Yeah.
I think that's,
I don't think we need to stumble over ourselves to get him the right back.
He could do it.
I thought he was fine.
We don't need to.
That one time where he drew the yellow card at the end of the first half was like, on one hand, it's like soccer is such a cruel game.
You play pretty well a whole half.
You make one bad decision to dribble inside.
You give it away.
You get a yellow card.
And everybody thinks you're a dufous.
But on the other hand, you can't.
And I mean, he had more than one, you know, eliminated by Kiazi's, he was pretty, you know.
Well, we're just going Milwaukee.
I don't know that he'll walkie said.
Yeah.
I don't think he'd played right back before.
I'm just going to maybe add.
I'm going to say, yeah.
Maybe not true.
It did look like he had.
It did look like he has not.
So we're going to go ahead and throw him out of here.
Throw him out of consideration.
All right, the other right back, the incumbent, the one that you might think would get the role.
Joseph Scali played left and right wingback against Union Berlin.
And he was not particularly good.
So first of all, so when you have a wingback, you know, you can use them multiple different ways, right?
you know um the reason why tim and west's uh performances translates so well is the fact that they
were kind of they kind of played more like a right back would play you know you could see them
doing exactly what they did in a back four and it would it would translate joe scaly on the other hand
they took this man out of the buildup out of the buildup uh like all the way like
you know how it sets up.
You know how a back five would set up in possession.
You know, you got like a little U shape.
Well, where the left wing back would be,
they put a midfielder there,
and Joe is up on the forward line and buildup.
So, I mean, and he also, you know,
he got the dreaded foot mob least touches
for any player to play 90 minutes because of that, you know.
He was trying to run off the Union back line.
when he did get it, he was okay because of the fact that, you know, if he's getting it at that point by the halfway line, he has like a little bit of space to do something.
He also, I think he feels less burdened to not be able to, to not be burdened by the fact that if you make a mistake in the initial phase of buildup, like, you know, we're getting a shot on goal.
So he was a little bit, when he got it, he was able to do it.
do a little something on the carry,
find a pass.
A lot of times he was still passing backwards.
So that was with the ball.
He, I think he played a cross-in for a header, I want to say.
But the bad here, the bad is when he switched to,
he started off the game at left-wingback,
switched to right-wing-back, I think around the 65th minute,
and gave up what I would say.
was Union's best chance of the match.
Basically,
balls lost by
the Monchies and in transition.
Basically, Joe just doesn't
get back in time to cover the back post,
and there's a Fizz cross that comes all the way
all the way through
to the person who Joe should be marking,
I mean, wide open, and this man
disguised it over the goal.
Joe probably,
Joe was saved tremendously by the fact that this man did not finish.
I don't know, Waki, did you see this?
Did you see this?
I did not watch Joe Scali.
I've been relying on you, but it sounds like we need to be getting Scali
out of positions where he's having to progress the ball.
So maybe he's not kind of the top of the list for a breakback for us.
He's a far and away third choice.
maybe we throw him out there for Bolivia, maybe.
But I just can't.
I don't see it.
I don't see what, you know, Greg was talking about how he wants to have him.
Like, it totally makes sense to have him there for Bolivia.
I don't see it.
Maybe.
And Greg didn't specifically say he wants him there for Bolivia.
He just said he was like open to it.
I'm not trying to mischaracterize Mr. Velasquez, but.
But, yeah, it's just, he, I'm out.
See you later.
He's not even the safe option.
As y'all talked about, Anya's right-back pod, it's just, yeah, he's not even the same option.
He's bad on defense, for the most part.
Like, he's, once again, like, okay, you can maybe, you cannot assign blame to him for that Jamaica goal.
But here he is in this match against Oon-Berlin, getting caught napping and getting beat to his backpost for, I mean, you have to see where this dude receives the ball and where the ball goes into the.
stands. Like somehow, some way, a ball coming fizzed. This ball is not in the air. Is it being fizzed
across the box on the ground? And he skies it over the goal. Should have been one-nil
Union. Joe Scali with a whole bunch of egg on his face. But yeah, he has played his way
out of consideration for me. And I think for Greg, too. And, you know, he had that bad
Jamaica match.
Let's not forget.
I think it was Joe Scally's first,
I think it was his first
cap, or first start, at least,
against Uruguay.
We played him in St. Louis,
where he basically got froze out
by the team.
They stopped passing on the ball.
He was so bad.
And so, I don't know.
It's a wrap.
It's a rap.
Wes or Tim?
West or Tim?
We only got two choices.
It's going to be Shackmore.
Joey moved to the next big question spot, the Tyler Adams position?
Hmm.
Yeah.
So he was out again, Adam.
He's still out.
Oh, no, really?
He's still out.
Yeah.
How was Johnny?
Well, he had a sequence at three backhills in a row.
I think the game is still finishing while we're recording, but it was a wonderful sequence.
Yeah.
Somehow, you know, it's the Seville Derby, you know what I'm saying?
It's Batisse Seville.
And it was a highly contentious first, Matt.
First half, for the most part, it was first 20 minutes, 25 minutes,
where, you know, everybody's getting stuck in.
Everybody, you know, the tackles are coming in fast, hard.
And through all this, unfazed,
Johnny and a couple of his teammates just find,
just find it in them to have a jolly up on the on the left side of the pitch
I mean it was it was incredible balls pinging around I mean and every time Johnny I mean
Johnny played yeah three I want to say it's three three back hills in a row one to the
one to the side of him I think one behind them and then I think he turned around and then
received the ball again and played another back hill I mean just clowning
it could have been four or five
It was unbelievable.
For all we know.
It was an incredible number.
So anyway, he's, it's him.
He's going to be our defensive central midfielder.
It's looking like.
I would like Tyler to come back, but I don't even know that there's a timetable.
Yeah, that's really sad.
I don't, you know, as much as I've been sort of a,
Johnny's better on the half turn than Tyler,
proponent of that idea
I don't want Tyler, I don't want Tyler to be hurt.
That sucks.
It's unfortunate.
Come back.
I didn't think you wanted to be hurt.
I just wanted to be clear about that.
It's unfortunate for sure.
We have yet to see if he is,
I don't know, if Boramiff is just being
very careful.
Very, very careful.
Which at this point, you know, there's nothing to lose.
They're safe.
and maybe they just want to make sure Tyler Adams is safe.
And so maybe the season ends and then, you know, we get 200 and 200 minutes of Tyler Adams and Copa America.
We'll see.
Could be.
But I guess we won't know it.
It's coming up fast, isn't it?
Yeah.
It's like a month and a half away.
I guess we'll get rosters for the Brazil and Columbia games in about, what, three weeks, maybe?
Probably, yeah.
The euros bump their roster numbers up to 26.
So I was thinking some speculation.
Maybe we'll do that here, which I would like us to do,
just because more people get to be involved.
Fewer hurt feelings.
Yeah, fewer debates, I guess.
And fewer debates.
It would be awesome.
That would be great as well.
Yo, so the match is ended.
Batisse and Sevilla Thai
1-1
I'm just going to read you foot mob here
Let's see
Johnny won
10 of 13 duels
Six out of eight ground duels
Four out of five aerial duels
28 out of 32 passing
That's good numbers
Yeah
And I did watch the first half
He was pretty good there
I missed a second
but yeah he continues to do his thing
continues to be a presence in the middle
breaking stuff up you know what I'm saying
he had two very nice tackles in the first half that I saw
we're going to be fine there
now another position battle
if Tim Wea does play right back
who's playing right wing
now we have options
we have options
number one how's you right
played left wing in a nil-nil against Blackpool.
And I would say he was mostly all right.
The one thing that scares me with Haji, just slightly,
is just that his general play can be a little,
it can be a little iffy.
It can be a little iffy.
It's not always, you know, Greg Velazquez has taken up for Haji's feet
multiple times, which he does, you know, he is a graceful athlete and is a, and it's skilled with the ball.
But also coming back to it, a lot of times, that thing can just, you know, pounce off of his feet if it gets played into him.
So I'm going to keep an eye on this.
It's one thing that I've been, I've been kind of watching, I don't want to say all season, but over these past like two, three months is just the fact that, yeah, it can be an adventure when the ball comes to,
comes to Haji in general play.
Other than that, let's see,
I think he got to the inline once,
got a little left foot to cross off,
had a first-time shot that he took
just inside the box
where he kind of got played in.
He took it first time.
He probably could have
took a couple touches,
got the keeper to come out
and slot that thing home, maybe.
But, yeah.
It's a good point about his general play, though.
he can be pretty messy.
Yes.
And like play a pass, you know, two yards behind somebody
and launch a fairly juicy counterattack, you know?
Like, it can happen.
You know what?
I appreciate about him, though.
After he makes a mistake when we get that close above him,
his face, he has the calmest face of anyone in our player pool.
Never any reaction.
Good or bad.
And I think he got a lot.
lot of admirers about this during that Manchester United match.
I saw a lot of comments on Haji Wright's aura, aura.
You know, it's a buzzword people like to use now on soccer Twitter.
It seems to me to just be a way to say that you are attracted to a man without
saying you're attracted to him.
But I saw a lot of tweets, I saw a lot of tweets saying the Haji Wright got that aura.
And you know what?
I would have to, I would have to agree.
I would have to agree.
You know what I'm saying?
He's a there's a something about him.
He got the straightbacks.
Having straight backs in 2024 is definitely a statement.
He pulls them off.
You know what I'm saying?
Classic L.A.
You know what I'm saying?
So, yeah, I would still be okay.
But if it does happen in the Encopa America,
don't be surprised if it goes like that Mexico match did.
Right. No, that's the thing. Yeah. I want to see him at left wing. I still want to see that.
But speaking of being attracted to Hadji Wright, you know, that was a big discussion point in Dallas at Nations League. The ladies decided that Hadji Wright was the hottest U.S. Men's National team player.
Got that overall.
Like, hands down.
So I think that's right.
I think that's what they decided.
And, yeah.
At least he was near the top.
I think he was the top.
Who am I to argue against it?
And come on, man.
Don't let them show up one day with the braids undone.
Just pure fro, pure fro with that thing a little crinkled after it's been freshly braided.
You know what I'm saying?
Oh, man.
who knows
but anyway
that's option
that's option number one
who knows
that's option
that's option number one
option number two
option number two
Emmanuel Sabi
ladies and gentlemen
just just fresh off of
fresh off of an assist
and assist for H.P.
versus PSG.
PSG was turned over,
and Sabi received a square pass
that was kind of played behind him
so he could, away from the defense,
so he could turn and go get it,
and then played a nice little left-footed reverse pass
that sent an attacker into space.
Still had a lot to do to slot that thing far post,
but they did it.
Emmanuel Sabi assist, and I think he's sitting
with, I want to say, five goals on one assist in league,
this season.
I went ahead and looked at his highlights.
Well, not his highlights,
but I pulled a couple games up on Wild Scout.
And number one,
I don't think there's a way to get penalty
in the Emmanuel Slobby's name.
But basically, he's taking a few pins.
Okay, so that's deuceing the numbers.
That's juicing the numbers.
And he basically looked like the same.
Manuel Saibi that stunk it up against Columbia.
Pan-annual.
Pan-animal.
Pan-anum, though.
Yeah, right, it's tough.
Let's not try it.
Pimmanuel.
Pimmanuel.
There we go.
There we go.
I'm going to put that there.
Vince, you once made a fail comp of him.
No, no, no.
Is that correct?
I didn't make that.
I didn't make that.
I think there was a...
Okay.
Okay.
I apologize.
I think it was USM and TZ.
You exuberantly shared it, though.
Oh, yes.
He was,
bad that game. He's just so bad that match. I'll never forget it. And to be honest, despite his exploits in league on so far this season, he's looking like that same player to me. I mean, not even really that much of a threat out wide, wasn't like beating people anything. I'll tell you what, I'm throwing his hat into the ring for the right back race. Just because, just because.
Not for the reason that you think.
Well, I mean, he was already in there by default, of course, because of those reasons.
But he does a good amount of defendant.
And that's the thing.
Like I kind of went through foot mob and, like, searched his good games and, like,
went and watch those.
I'm like, oh, surely he was cooking here.
Nah, he just won a lot of duels, like, coming back and helping defend.
And so yeah, I don't think that's a viable.
That's a viable candidate to getting the starts a cup of America.
It's okay.
It's okay for him.
It's okay for us.
It's okay for him.
Yep.
You know, he's getting rich playing soccer.
And he doesn't have to be a national team player, you know?
That's right.
Now, no.
But what I do want to say is La Jav is in a relegation battle.
They did come out with.
a big point against PSG. Tidum 3-3, which puts them out of the relegation playoff spot.
They are equal with Mets on points. They both have 29. Both have three games remaining.
Mets still has PSG to play. So we just need to get behind LaHav.
Even though Sabi might not be in our plans in the future, maybe he could.
be if he stays in Lee Gunn. I don't know.
Still rooting for him. That's right.
That's right. Okay. So
Let's talk about, let's talk about Venetia.
Because that there is, you know, that's second division, but it's like, stuff's happening.
Stuff's happening over there.
There's a fever.
Venetian fever brewing.
That's right. And it might be coming up to Syria soon.
You're vaccinated, ladies and gentlemen.
They got a big win over Criminisei 2-1 to bring the
themselves within one point of second place Como.
And John Luca Busio got the assist on the second goal.
It was a very nice play.
He picked up the ball with nothing to space in front of him after Venetia's number
nine laid it off to him.
So he comes back, lays the ball off.
John Luca has the entire back line to run at.
The left center back comes out towards John Luca.
because, I mean, if not, I mean, John Luke was just going to carry the ball forward for eternity.
So the left centerback comes out and you have the right wing basically making a in like a out to end run kind of across the face of goal.
Well, it would, it's about to go across the face of goal.
So he starts this run.
And the thing I really liked about this was the fact that.
So left centerback comes out.
John Luca takes like two or three touches to his right,
like he's going to play the ball to the centerback's left,
like in between the gap between the left centerback and the left back.
So very smoothly.
John Luca takes those touches like he's going to play it,
but plays it through the centerback's right,
plays it to the right, catches the centerback by surprise.
He ends up getting like a little bit of a foot to it,
which deflected the past slightly,
but the idea was beautiful
and the on-rushing right-winger,
his last name is Bjarkison.
He received the ball basically before anybody could get to it.
And the fact that John Luca passed it to the centerback's left,
to the centerback's right,
led the keeper to believe that he could get out there too
because the pass is basically coming, you know,
down the middle of the pitch, essentially,
instead of out wide if he played it.
to the left centerbacks left.
But anyway,
Bjarkerson gets there before anyone.
Like I said, the keeper comes out.
He's able to collect it and finish 2-1 Venetia.
Beautiful play.
And a little bit of guile from young John Luca.
I loved it.
Yeah.
I just have some thoughts on,
I clocked Bjarkinson's name as well on his shirt.
I don't think that's a good name.
I don't like it.
I don't know what it is.
I don't want to hear it.
It doesn't look better written down either.
It's a better name than the Venetius number nine,
which I just had to say Venetius number nine,
because I couldn't even pronounce it.
There's a whole bunch of what they call that up there, Norway.
Yeah, there was some Scandinavian characters in that name that
I have no chance of pronounce it, so I just went ahead and called.
I don't know Venetia number nine.
I think he's number 90, but he was the striker.
But, but yeah.
Beautiful play from John Luca.
Go ahead, Bill.
I love, well, two things I wanted to say.
One, I love the weight on the pass,
even though the defender did get a foot to it.
It didn't change the weight of it, very, like, probably at all.
It was very delicately placed and weighted.
And should I play the,
clip. Should I play the clip of it?
Now,
now more for the
Venice.
For the second post,
Gitker,
Busio,
scaric to him,
tagged so to him,
Tally Interno,
Diarcason,
Biarcason,
Biarcazano!
Biarcazor!
La ribaltata,
also on the
subject of Scandinavia,
on the bus,
from Milan to Turen
yesterday,
there was
there were three Swedish guys.
One was the grandpa.
One was like the 20-year-old grandson.
And then the grandson's little brother,
whose name was Ule.
It was William and Ule.
And he was a really nice kid.
He offered us all kinds of like Swedish snacks,
just totally unprompted.
And he also offered me some snoozes,
like, you know, tobacco packets you put in your,
you know, which I didn't take him up on.
He was a very generous kid.
So, you know, Scandinavia is not all bad.
That's some great snacks.
He had some ballerina cookies
and these things called kexes,
which were like Kit Kats.
Man, cookies and two of tobacco.
Understood.
Right.
Understood.
He was like,
and then he jokingly offered it to his like eight-year-old brother, too.
But, you know, it didn't.
Yeah.
But Grandpa was taking a nap the whole time.
So yeah.
Oh, just go ahead.
Go ahead.
Just to bring it home, Venetia.
Huge result.
Huge result.
Like I said, within one point, three matches to play between Como and Venezia.
I think Venetia has a slightly harder schedule than Como.
But Como went down to the wire with Sam Doria.
And it took a late winter.
I didn't, I did not realize that had Patrick.
Kutrona playing for the former 18 goal scorer for A.C. Milan back in 2018, I think.
But anyway, he scored the equalizer in like the 83rd minute or else they would have
took an L to Sam Doria, which would have put Venetia into the auto promotion spot.
But either way, either way, it's looking like we get an American promoted to Syriano.
next year, Nico Joe Keeney is not really playing a role in Como's promotion.
So we are Venetzi all the way.
No, he does come off the bench, though, you know.
And he did in, well, did he not come off the bench in this game?
Maybe not.
Well, I was just taking a slight offense with the, you know.
Is he playing a role?
Yeah, he came on the 87 minute.
Yeah.
Keep about 87.
Okay.
Yeah.
He's not playing a role.
Then fair enough.
Yeah.
So other than that, John Luca played,
uh,
just in case anybody hasn't watched Venetia,
John Luca Busio,
it seems that his position now is a box to box eight.
He is a box to box eight.
Uh, gets around the pitch,
uh, gets around the pitch.
That's nice things.
Um, he's a,
he's a busy bee out there.
and it's good to see.
Tanner
played pretty well.
I was doing a lot of cleaning up.
We're doing a lot of cleaning up in this match.
So Cremantese is also a good team in Siri B.
And so this was a big dub for them.
They are fourth, the team behind Venetia.
So, you know, it was a...
Oh, man, this is huge.
Yeah, this was an evenly contested matchup.
And so Tanner being Venetius Pivot had a lot of work in front of him.
And he did admirably.
He did admirably.
Cleaned up pretty well.
One fouls to relieve pressure when he needed to.
And just isn't doing as many of the dumb things that he used to.
You know, he's a lot cleaner with his technique, not getting the ball cut in between his feet and stuff.
I mean, and, you know, once again, he's just a very,
large person getting around the pitch, getting around the pitch very well.
Now, I do need for him to, at some point, he's going to bring something to the party in these challenges.
He just tries to go in there and kick the ball away.
Like, bro, take that very ample shoulder that you have and put it in somebody's chest.
At some point, I mean, he was losing aerial duels too.
Bells, I know you talked about that, the fact that he's just not very good in the air,
despite being a large person.
But it'll come.
It'll come.
Chris Richards used to be not that great in the air.
And he's still not like a, you know, a warrior in the air,
but he's pretty solid, I would say.
He very nearly had a headed goal this weekend.
He got up, won the air battle.
Busted right over, though.
Buster right over.
He was solid.
He had a very solid game.
They played a...
Just.
Did they
Drew.
They drew full on.
You know.
So Jedi, Jedi,
Jedi actually had
an up and down match. He got beat a couple of times.
He got beat a couple times
by a couple of Crystal Palace attackers.
Chris
had a couple nice passes, particularly in the
first half.
But other than that, I mean, I think Chris is,
Chris unlocked it down.
He's pretty good.
he's pretty good he didn't have the best window for the u.s but uh he's pretty damn good player
how did um how did geo look i know he i do know he got on the field
but it was that's he looked he's running around out there he looked good at doing that
that's the most important thing and then he you know there wasn't a ton to do there was not a ton
to do it was two zero when he came on right and yeah
there might have been a there was a ton to do but they're just they're just they're
not good enough to do it yeah it it couldn't be done yeah so it just says what it is
uh i did i did see that sergeant scored he did is a lofted far post cross kind of ones where
you're you're alone is the attacker neatly put in far post slipped it right in there and he had a few
other chances to do in the first half. He's good
as well.
So sneakily, a
right wing candidate for me.
We can throw him in there.
We can throw him in there in the right wing? Why not?
Why not? General
play, much better to the Hajis.
I'm not saying he should be that. I would still
put him behind Haji. But
he's
a candidate. Why not?
Yeah.
I mean, I'd rather him than
Brendan
Aronson. That's right. You know? Like, I think, I think he might be the starting striker.
That's what, that's what people are saying. Got a feeling. Flo got an assist today, but, uh,
what's up that I have? Well, we'll see what? No. No, was he, was he, was he, did he start the game today?
Yes. Flo? Oh, he got the assist on that early bignette. Which it was just like, I mean,
the book. Isn't it fun for me to just sort of ask basic factual questions on the podcast
like this? I think it's a fine way to do it. I actually like these ideas. Each episode,
one of us will go on vacation. And then the other do we'll just tell them about things.
Taylor Booth is back. Out of schedule. He's back like he played today or yesterday. He came in,
he sobbed, he played, I don't know, 15 minutes or so I didn't see it.
I didn't see it, but he's back.
Okay.
He is back.
Let me see.
Paxson Aronson.
Okay, Paxson Erinson.
Real quick.
Let's do that.
And then let's get out of here.
I can't talk about Mark McKinth.
No, hold on.
You tell me I got a pick between Paxon Harrison and Mark McKinsey?
Well, we can do both, but we just do it real quick.
Paxton Aronson.
So, we scored a brace and had a hockey assist as Vtesse got a win against Fortuna Sittard.
I think they came from 2-0 down.
The hockey assist...
I mean, that's worth mentioning a brace and the hockey assist.
The hockey assist was...
I thought it was a nice little bit of invention.
Just because he received the ball right side of the box.
And, you know, people receive the ball in the box.
They start to panic.
What does Paxton do?
He sees an unmarked player to the left side of the box,
and he just basically lofts it over there
and basically lofts it right to the man city zone
for him to receive the ball,
then he cut it back from there,
goal score.
I thought that was nice.
And then also the goal,
I haven't seen the first goal.
It's not on the internet.
But the second goal,
basically he arrived at the penalty spot for a cutback,
finished it.
Yeah.
Pax is a,
I think he's a good player.
And just real quick,
I do guys.
to talk about Mark McKenzie because I woke up at 7.30 to watch them.
I woke up at 7.30.
Okay.
Okay.
You deserve it.
Let's talk about it.
I was going to be up anyway because the baby woke up.
But Mark McKenzie playing against club Brugge.
I think it's pronounced Brugge in the Belgian playoffs.
And let me tell you, this is one of the, I don't want to say too much.
It was a terrible performance for Mark.
Terrible performance for Mark McKenzie.
And it's just not what you want to see.
Okay, so Brigger scored three goals.
Mark McKenzie was culpable for all three of them.
At least, if not directly, he gets at least like 50% in blame.
First goal, okay?
Loses a goal kick.
Well, yeah, loses a goal kick.
I mean, the long ball's hit.
This man gets up.
Heads the ball, heads it backwards.
Okay?
So now Brigger collects it, and they are in their attacking third.
The ball goes out wide.
A cross is played in.
Mark McKenzie, he might have been called off by his keeper.
I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because he turns around and puts his hand out.
But he basically ducks under the cross, and it goes in the goal.
Okay.
Now, he turns around with the hands out, so maybe he got called off.
But anyway, the whole reason they were in there.
that part of the field was because
he headed the ball backwards.
All right.
Second goal.
Beat down the right sideline.
You know, Gink plays a three-back.
He's a left-centerback.
Well, they've been playing a three-back in the
in the playoff ever since they got there.
So left-centerback gets beat for pace
down the sideline.
And he gets to the man's city zone.
Cutback, scored.
Just absolutely dusted by
this dude.
that kind of, yeah,
just got dusted by the Burger Winger.
Somebody named
Brin Wander or something like that.
I didn't want to say it, but yeah, a white dude
dusted the hell out of it.
I mean, left him in the dust.
Got beat by a white dude.
Come on.
Third goal.
Brigger now was losing 2-0.
They have made some subs,
some tactical changes. They are now playing a
four-back. Okay.
And you can see they had great
camera angles in the stadium. I forgot where they were playing.
Mark, they were playing a gink, actually. Mark is standing so close to the right center
back that the gap to run through between him and the left back is huge.
Humongous. And you can see it all play out. And the dude basically looks and observes that
this gap is huge. Calls for the ball.
Gets it played, gets it played to him. And it ends up being a bouncing ball in the
that Mark McKenzie is basically like looking around it.
He's like looking up at the ball as it bounces above his head
doesn't really try to get to it
and ends up in a goal for Brugge.
And so three huge Mark McKinsey mistakes, three goals,
and I am going to write Mark McKenzie off for the near future
just because of the fact that it's been brewing, right?
Every time I talk to you all on this pod about Mark McKinsey,
what I tell you all?
He's made another mistake.
Every time I tune in this, I'm not hunting for mistakes.
I tune in to watch a gink match because I'm like, it's been a while,
so I checked on Mark McKinsey.
Let me watch this match.
Another Mark McKinsey mistake.
And this one was really, and this game was really illuminating to me because it's not just mental.
They're not just mental mistakes.
They're not just him trying to pass the ball out while, you know, a Mexican attacker is on rushing
and getting it picked off and a goal score.
it's more than mental.
He's small, first of all.
He's small.
He is small.
He's not that fast.
And he's not particularly fast.
Not that fast, not that strong.
So he has physical problems on top of the mental issues.
And you could see them both play out.
It wasn't just mental.
He had physical to put with it too.
And other times in the match where he got dusted on the right touchline by, I think, maybe the same white dude.
and got dusted by him.
Another time, the centerback, I mean not the center back,
the center forward for Brugge just basically put his butt on Mark McKenzie,
and Mark McKinsey was nowhere to be found.
He was swallowed.
Now, Mark did a good job to basically, like, he's, I mean,
you know how you put your feedback when you're trying to, like, withstand something.
Like, you know, he had his feedback as much as he could
trying to avoid, like, being pushed back by this man.
And he held him up for his teammates to get.
get there and like collect the ball off of them because bro didn't have like a imminent uh pass to
play but it was just like bro you are just like in hell right now and so and i think this just
uh the light bulb has come off for me you know we keep expecting like uh hey if mark bickenzie
could just cut the errors out maybe a nice little player uh i don't think the errors are going
anywhere right now they just aren't and uh well the good news is
You're in no real danger of being, you know, in disagreement with Greg Burrhalter on this.
Like, he didn't play him, you know, in the last Nations League.
Right.
Yeah.
So it just is what it is.
You know, miracles can't happen.
They can happen.
And we have heard a rumor.
You know, there's a rumor talking about, like, West Ham might be interested in him.
And, bro, that's going to be a no.
And this summer, it probably is the year for Mark,
McKinsey to leave gink.
But wherever he's going, he's going to have to prove a lot of stuff that he did not
prove in the Belgian League.
You know, goes to the Bundesliga, he's going to have issues.
If he goes to the Premier League, he's definitely going to have issues.
Like, I mean, there is no safe spot for this man to go.
It's, it's, uh, yeah, he, he got to get better, man.
It's, it's, it's not.
Yeah.
It's not good.
It's not good.
I would like for it to be good, but it's not good.
Same.
Yeah.
Well, thanks for bringing me up to date, guys.
No problem.
Appreciate it.
And, you know, let's go to, let's go somewhere together as soon as possible.
Maybe even Italy.
Let's just come back to Italy again.
Maybe we just keep going back to Italy.
Annual Italy trip?
Yeah.
I mean, it makes sense.
actually.
