Starting point is 00:00:03 Hello, this is The Secret Mum Club. I'm Safina. And I'm Emma. And welcome to your Thursday's episode. Where we get to squeeze in all the extra bits and bobs from the week. We're going to squeeze your bits, honey. All of your comments, thoughts, questions and fun story. To keep you going through the weekend.
Starting point is 00:00:17 Shall we jump on it? There's big news. Oh my God, there's really big news. The elephant in the room. We're not actually going to talk about it in this one. We're going to talk about it next in Thursday's episode. And obviously we will say in Thursday's episode that this is recorded today. But fuck.
Starting point is 00:00:35 Your teeth. No, sorry. Sorry, Brooklyn Becker. Bloody hell, I was going to say. We'll talk about my teeth next week. I'll also reveal them for you in Thursdays app because that'll be on YouTube and you can see. Or Tuesdays. Is it Tuesdays?
Starting point is 00:00:48 Where am I? Yeah. We're on Thursday. Fuck me, guys. Thursday. At the time of recording, we've had. We've had a lot transpire. The Brooklyn Beckham statement.
Starting point is 00:00:57 Wow. But this might be out of date by the time this goes out. And we only actually have the statement at the moment. Yeah. Which we're not entitled to have, but we want to talk about it. So, yeah, we're going to talk about it on Tuesday. So if you want to know, little tease, teasey tease. Crazy, though, wasn't it?
Starting point is 00:01:13 I mean, I've got no gossip to share. I'm not bringing anything to the table. I don't have a video. I've got nothing I can say. Nothing I can say on the record. No, but I do really want to... I do want to talk about it. Deep dive on that.
Starting point is 00:01:24 Yeah. I can't believe when it came out. Me and my sisters were like, get on Instagram stories right now. Right now. My sister goes, I tried to show James. I can't find them. They're gone. I went, no, it's just not lit up because you've watched them already.
Starting point is 00:01:35 Click his picture. Oh, God. I got so excited. She was, they're gone. They've been rummer. Also, I'm sure you could find them somewhere on the internet. They're in, they're in people's comments sections. Yes, they are. But my whole FYP was like... My FYP is really given. The content creators went to work quick. Yeah, they went quick. Like that night, I couldn't go to sleep because there were so many good means.
Starting point is 00:01:57 AI Victoria is really going ham on those, them lap dances, isn't she? And I died, I died at Pete. Do you see Pete and Sam doing the lap dance? The recreation of Victoria's dance with Brooklyn. No, but I saw one that was like Jenna Duan doing the lap dance on Channing Tatum. You know, polem. We shouldn't laugh, should we? No, sorry, it is in the media. And we shouldn't laugh.
Starting point is 00:02:22 No. It is a family that's made their whole living off of being in the public eyes. And I think that's what I'm struggling with. Anywho, we are divils in way too much information. We need to go into Tuesdays with this because Rosie will, I can feel a burning a highs in the side of my head. Stop, leave it for the mine. Okay.
Starting point is 00:02:39 But are you ready to jump on in? Yeah. Okay. It's time for the... Corresponders Corner! For like my hat really dulls the sound. Yeah, you're really fucking loud. I know.
Starting point is 00:02:54 But to me, I'm perfection. So, Emma, let's have our first one, please. Okay. The legend. The legend. The man, the myth. The woman, the myth, the legend. The woman, the myth, the legend.
Starting point is 00:03:05 That is. Itchy leg, Zoe. Remember? Fuck me. She's been in touch with some huge news. Oh my gosh. This woman just keeps giving, doesn't she? She's the gift.
Starting point is 00:03:13 She's one not only been an OG from Day Dot. She's stuck around. Itchy legs is the communities go to for intercourse. And we just keep popping up. We've got grandbaby on the way. We've had... Was there a wedding? Wedding, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:30 We've got a lot going on. Are you ready for a day? So here we go. Okay, so my son, Josh and his lovely partner, Charlotte, have welcomed their beautiful baby girl into the world. Yay! Proud doesn't even begin to cover it. She's just adorable and I'm more than ready for full on nanny duty.
Starting point is 00:03:46 Lots of love from Zoe. Oh my gosh. I said it, didn't I? And we met her son, didn't we, at the live show? And we met Charlotte. Oh my gosh. Oh my God, stop. There's a follow on.
Starting point is 00:03:57 Oh, fuck. Sorry, I should read it. Oh my God. I wasn't ready. I was going on. Okay. So, Mommy, Charlotte has also got in touch. And she says, hi, Safina and Emma, I'd like to officially introduce you to our itchy legs baby.
Starting point is 00:04:11 There's a picture. Oh, no, there isn't. Me, Little. Oh, her name. Annie Dolly Cleeseby. Oh, my. Born on the 9th of December 2025 at 8.26 a.m. weighing £6, 7 ounces. It's safe to say, itchy legs are off the table for a while.
Starting point is 00:04:27 Mummy definitely doesn't want to be pregnant again. Time soon. We're very much enjoying our newborn bubble. Can't wait for another year of listening to the pod. Lots of love, Charlotte. Before we look at Annie, before we look at Annie Dolly. You want to go in on the name? One, the name is 10-10.
Starting point is 00:04:41 Annie was on our list for a girl. I love that name. So unbelievably beautiful. Such a classic. But if we do have a live show, I'm just winking. She better be there. Can we bring? Because we not only had Zoe, didn't we?
Starting point is 00:04:53 We had our son. We had Charlotte and we had Zoe's partner at the live show. It was a whole family affair and I feel that Annie must come. Yeah. Oh, look at the pictures. Oh my goodness. She's delicious. Oh, she looks perfect.
Starting point is 00:05:08 Look at all her little hair peaking out. There's a picture of her wrinkly little foot. You can't say wrinkly. It's absolutely divine that is. They are wrinkly when they come out, but it's lovely. Oh, gosh. And she's had some hill pricks. She's, oh yeah, she's got a little plaster on it.
Starting point is 00:05:20 She has got, the runners wore those, didn't they? Oh, she's absolutely. Six pounds seven, that is a dog. She's dinky, isn't she? Did he? Look her little nose. She's literally so, her skin is so smooth. She looks perfect.
Starting point is 00:05:35 You know what I love as well? She's wrapped in a fluffy white towel. There's nothing better than a baby wrapped in a towel. Yummy. With a woolly hat on. She looks like a little baby burrito, doesn't she? She looks divine. Good enough to eat.
Starting point is 00:05:47 This is making me want another baby. Right, Emma, text me on the train this morning. Oh yeah, let's address the rumors. There's people actually convinced that you're gaslighting us all that you're pregnant. Yeah, because I ask for your baby name list. I don't even know. I feel like I can't lie. If I knew I would, Emma won't tell me because I'm shit in lying.
Starting point is 00:06:03 And I'm sure keeping a secret. This is the secret Mum Club. I will out everyone's laundry. Someone messaged me going, there's a few things you've said. I'm convinced you're pregnant because we were talking about.
Starting point is 00:06:12 I'm calling it. We are asking for your baby name list the other episode. And I screenshotted it and sent it to our WhatsApp group. And you guys, I was like, loll and you guys were like, well, we don't actually know her.
Starting point is 00:06:24 We think you'll just gas line. She could be on the money. Someone get her a small alcohol. See if she drinks it. No. No. Okay. So we've had loads of messages come in
Starting point is 00:06:33 after you shared your baby name list. Yes. So Jane said, my friend's grandson is called Ernie, which is also my dad's name. You said about Ernie. And loads of people in the comments said that they've got an Ernie as well.
Starting point is 00:06:44 I really love, it's a beautiful one. Fifi has said, I have a Fraser, but I was in love with Duncan, Douglas, aka Shuggy and Alistair. That's got to be Scottish, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:06:53 Shuggy. Shuggy. Oh my gosh, that's divine. Like Shug Night. Oh, gosh. I've been watching the Diddy. I really, really love Douglas because I do really love Doug.
Starting point is 00:07:02 and Dougie But Dougie Reminds me of Hay Dougie Yeah That is cute though Yeah Duncan Douglas and Alastair That's got to be Duncan's sweet
Starting point is 00:07:10 I had an uncle Duncan And we used to call him donkey Dunk is cute Yeah All right Lee said I have a boy called Atley That was another name Yes I really love Atley
Starting point is 00:07:18 He's 21 now Stop it And I've never met another Atley Wow There is a lady on TikTok Actually who has a baby Atley And he is
Starting point is 00:07:28 Similar age to Renners He's two And he's a little Atley And I really loved it on my baby name list and then she had hers and called him Atley and I was oh I can't really use it. You can't really now. Lisa was ahead of the curve though, 21 years ago.
Starting point is 00:07:40 He's 21. Wow. Oh, I love that. All right, Elaine says my oldest boy is Angus but I sometimes call him Gussie, which was another one of yours. My gosh, girlie. We're just so in sync, can't we? I know.
Starting point is 00:07:53 She says, I'm due my third baby boy in April. So it's really interesting hearing your name ideas. I love Monroe and it keeps Scottish theme with Angus and Lachlan. Oh, please can you go with Monroe? Yeah, that would be cool, wouldn't it? Please have them on row. It's in theme. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:06 Three boys. I literally love that we're so on the same page. You were on page with a lot of people. Lily says I have a Tate. Which has another name that you were talking about. And he was going to be Dottie if he'd been a girl. Stop it. What the hellie, girlies?
Starting point is 00:08:21 I wonder if that was after your Dottie or just a coincidence. Maybe just a coincidence. Oh. And Fee says, I've still got my potential baby names list too, but I'll be taking it to the grave with me. Right, Fee. I'll take you out. I'll take you down.
Starting point is 00:08:34 I'll get you, honey. I'm taking it to the grave with me. I mean, people take these things seriously. They do. They do. I thought about commenting on our video saying like, bagsy these names that I like for the next baby. But I don't want to give people ideas, you know?
Starting point is 00:08:48 I don't think we even know your names. You never even told me say these names. No, I didn't. Well, it took us ages to decide because she was going to be Betty. She was going to be Betty. But I was like Nash. I really love Betty. I do too.
Starting point is 00:09:00 And now when I see her Betty, I get a bit jealous. that I haven't got it. You know? Frustrating. No, I said last week I liked Bertie and Ralph for boys, but Stefan didn't like them. So that was never going to happen.
Starting point is 00:09:12 Do you think you'll have a girl or a boy next? I see you trying to get into my mind. I'm not pregnant for the record. She is not pregnant. But I think it would be nice to have boy girl boy. Do you? Yeah, like you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:27 Oh, what a team. I really do like boy girl boy. And if I had another one, I... Would you want to be a girl? I don't know. Had you told me when I just had Renley, yes, I would have said I would really love to have boy girl, boy girl and have two of each. But now that he is nearly two, he and his relationship with Colby and Tobias, my nephew,
Starting point is 00:09:54 is so insanely huge. And I think the girl dynamic of our family is so massive. What with my sister's three and then we're dotting. And now the relationship with Colby and Renley and now obviously Tobias because it's harder with boys. You know, he's 14, 15, 14. He's 14, going to be 15 in July. He is, it's hard for them to interact with a newborn baby. So I feel like he's now in this stage where Renley chooses to sit with Tobias and cuddle him and tell him he gets upset if he goes.
Starting point is 00:10:27 Tobias is having like that whole feeling now of a bond with him now that he's getting bigger and it's really, it's really beautiful to see. So I think no, if I was to have another one, I think. And also we really love in the house that Dotty is. Does she like being the only girl? Yeah, she really loves being the only girl. She's daddy's little princess. She's got him wrap around her little finger.
Starting point is 00:10:48 He texts me this one and said, look at this little jelly cat. I've bought her for Valentine's Day. And I said she's lucky to have you. Yeah. But you, I don't get a jelly cat for Valentine's. Joseph has told me he only wants another boy. Does he? Yeah, if I speak about another baby, he's like, I want a brother.
Starting point is 00:11:04 And he goes, if it's a girl, I'm going to cry. And I'm like, well, you don't have a choice. A choice. He was very sad at the get-go, though, that it was a girl when you felt. He was just sad about, a few men about having another baby, to be honest. But I feel like he's at a good age now, like where he'd understand. I just can't imagine. If you give that boy another girl, I think he will.
Starting point is 00:11:22 I know. It's not worth it for that. No. He'd be so pissed with us, I think. If it was a girl. Do you think you would go for a Bertie now, though, if you had another boy? I think it always changes. Like, by the time you get around to having your next baby, I feel like that your opinions
Starting point is 00:11:36 and your, like, the trends change. Yeah, times change. Yeah, times change. Like, we had girl names for Joseph, but when we had Sadie, we didn't use any of them. Yeah. He scrapped them all, you know? I thought I'd had to win boys. I would have definitely had Renly and Rudy as well.
Starting point is 00:11:48 Oh, that would have been so. But I don't think I'd have a boy now and have a Rudy. No, but that was two years ago. Yeah, you know. I'm not having any more babies, so you know. Change your mind. Just so you know. even it out with the cousins. It would be four boys' girls. I know. I know. And it's really nice because
Starting point is 00:12:02 as well, James, my sister's husband, has, we've all obviously watched Tobias's relationship with Renley and, you know, over the last sort of three months has blossomed and grown so much. And like, even it's, James said the other day, like, it would have been so lovely for him to have had a brother in the house. because there's obviously a house of three girls. They were expecting, because they went girl boy, girl, they were expecting Everly. Did they find out what she was? Yeah, they found out whatever's was, yeah. So it's been really nice for the whole family.
Starting point is 00:12:38 It's been really, really lovely. And I don't think there's anybody in the family that will sit and say that Renli, we've had a lot, I think, go on the last year, maybe the last two years in the house. A lot of change in the family, a lot of sad things have happened. And I don't think Renly will ever understand what he's done for everybody individually. Like he's been such a massive part of Eden's journey as to leave in school and being there for her.
Starting point is 00:13:04 He's been a lot of support for my brother who's had a very emotional end to last year and continuing going forward and his mental health. A lot for my sister, because my sister's been able to have a relationship with him that she never got to have really. I mean, she's really close with Tobias and Colby and Dottie.
Starting point is 00:13:22 She had her own kids at the same. time. Whereas now she's like out of the woods a little bit, isn't she? And he adores James and he just, I don't think he'll ever understand, I think, what he's done for everybody. He's a very special little boy, our little rem. Pain in the ass, so I will evidently say. He is on another level. Oh yeah. Of cray. Yeah, I'm with you. He's up there with, we wasn't just a little bit crazy. We're fully Yeah. We've had some near-death experiences this week. I'll bring you more in the main episode. We'll catch you up in the main. But thanks.
Starting point is 00:13:54 Thank you ladies so much. Congratulations to Charlotte. And congratulations to Zoe. I feel like we never give enough. Congratulations. To the nannies. Oh, I know. And well done to Daddy. I hope it was a wonderful experience for you all. And welcome to the world little Annie Dolly. Oh my God. That's just too much. And thank you ladies for messaging in. Clearly I've got great taste. In names. In names. Well, we all have, obviously. Yeah. You all have. Yeah, we all have. So thank you so much for your messages. If you do have any comments, thoughts or fuddy stories, why not get in touch? You can email us hello at secret mumpod.com or with secret mum pod on TikTok and Instagram. And next it's time for one of your secrets.
Starting point is 00:14:39 Welcome back. We love a secret on the secret mumble club. And you are all so good at sharing. So Emma, what have we got today? Okay, Kelsey from Australia has been back in touch. My friend's daughter's called Kelsey. I feel like I said that last time. She wrote in about her twins biting each other. Do you remember that?
Starting point is 00:14:53 Yes. Yes, I do remember. She starts off, good-a-hot mummers. You got to expect it, yeah. I wasn't expecting that I had a mouth full of water then. Good-day hot mummers. Good-a-hot-mamas. I'm emailing with an update on my twins and the biting.
Starting point is 00:15:06 Yes. Sadly, it's still happening when they're angry, but I've got a new problem and I really need some help. Hit me. My boys, Finley and Douglas turned two on the 15th of January and have decided to start climbing into each other's cots or swapping cots entirely. Finley, my second-born and full-time chaos merchant,
Starting point is 00:15:21 has worked out that he can launch himself out of his car and gain full access to the room. I really don't want them having access to the room because they'll absolutely destroy it. He's in a sleep sack, which worries me because I'm scared he'll trip and fall, but I can't take it off him either because if I do, oh God, he'll get naked, rip his nappy off and smear poo everywhere. Oh my God. Please help me from a very exhausted mum who can't catch a break. I would go down to being cute, get yourself some cable ties and duct tape.
Starting point is 00:15:48 Ram that, no, I'm joking. This is a toffee because we've had a toughie because we've had a... a few problems with Renner's ever catapulting himself. I've never had this problem. I didn't with the other two. Only Renli. The other two never. And to have double double the load, that is a lot. I don't know at this circumstance what I would do.
Starting point is 00:16:09 What could you do? You could... I mean, if they're going to get out into the room and you don't want them to trash it, I mean, what will they do? Like, could you just take everything out of the room in them in an empty box? Yeah, Renly... So if they are out, they're not a danger.
Starting point is 00:16:22 That's what I've done. So in hours, the handles of the wardrobe are quite high up because we did it for when he's like a teenager because he's going to grow into the room rather than the room grow with him. So we've got a big adult's wardrobe in there. So he can't reach anything to get it out. So if he has access to the room,
Starting point is 00:16:43 there is nothing that can hurt him. Colby used to walk around in a sleeping bag. I think when he tripped and fell, He never hurt himself. No, Sadie will get out herself. Like, she, if she sleeps in our bed in the morning, which happens quite often for like the last hour of the night, she will be in her sleeping bag in our bed
Starting point is 00:17:03 and then she'll get herself out and kind of like shuffle along. So I think they can walk in those sleeping bags slightly. But obviously that is an idea. It's not ideal. It's not safe. No, we are very aware of that. Yeah. This one, we're going to have to put it to the field.
Starting point is 00:17:15 I don't know what you do. Twins is another level, isn't it? They are really given you. They're giving you a. run. They're really giving you a run for your money. They're testing these mama skills, aren't they? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:26 But I don't know what to do on that one. I don't know me either. Obviously, the cots, if they're climbing out and getting out, my advice would be to have them as cot beds, which does give them full access to the room. Yeah, maybe just like lean into that and put them in a bed. But the only problem with the cot is, obviously, leaving the side up on the cot is that they can really hurt themselves. It's quite a big drop from the top of the cot out.
Starting point is 00:17:50 so I would advise cot bed The only thing I will say is sometimes Changing it to the cot bed The novelty wears off That they can get out quite easily And I find what I hear quite often It's like they're institutionalised Like even when they go into a bed
Starting point is 00:18:07 They're so used to being in a cot That they don't get out Because they don't really know that they can But this is the problem Is the boys know how to get out of the cot So what I'm saying is because they know to get out And maybe if they're If you're going in saying no
Starting point is 00:18:20 we shouldn't be climbing out of the cot, they kind of know that it's a little bit cheeky to do that. So just remove the option. So take the side off and put the, you know, the bedside on. And the novelty kind of wears off then. If they are getting out, obviously I would baby gate the door so they can't get out of the room at all. Yeah, although they can probably get over it if they can get over a cot, aren't they? No, Renner's can't get over the baby gate.
Starting point is 00:18:42 No, no, he can get over the cot. But then he uses the back of the cot. Oh, to like vault himself. He puts his leg up. Oh, okay. And then he swings himself over. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:52 So it doesn't get up because he's got, the baby gate is the whole empty room. Yeah, yeah. You can't get up. Yeah. But you can get extended baby gates as well. Yeah, tall at once. What if you just like, if they want to get into each other's beds and they think that's like a fun thing to do? I did it with Richie.
Starting point is 00:19:07 Why don't you just put them in bed together? Yeah, that's what I was going to say to you say as well is if you do take the side of the cot off, why do you put them down? Push their beds together. Yeah. Or put them down to bed together. Yeah. Because they might be like, well we're starting the night like that anyway,
Starting point is 00:19:22 so we don't need to do it. I wonder if you took the sides off and had the cots together. That's what I mean? So it was one ginormous cot. Or like get a double floor bed, like we've got Jojo, and just put them in together.
Starting point is 00:19:31 I think the problem is here is that she's having, they're having access to the room, which she doesn't want to have an ass. You might just have to baby proof the room and just know that they're going to get out. Yes. I just,
Starting point is 00:19:40 and sometimes I feel like we are so, like this stuff is so, so, what is the word? I'm looking for, we get so exhausted by these things. And I sometimes think they are tiny masterminds and they are feeding off of us being worried and stressed and anxious or maybe telling them no that I sometimes feel like, Renly just looks at me and says, bitch, shut the fuck up. Yeah, I'm going to do it anyway.
Starting point is 00:20:07 I'm going to tear this motherfucker shit up. And I think sometimes if I'm just real chill about it, like, yeah, do your worst, honey. Yeah. Go to bed or don't go to bed. I don't get a shit. As I leave the room, he's kind of like, oh, she's. Yeah, they definitely get a rise out of you getting a reaction.
Starting point is 00:20:23 And I think sometimes they are, and this is why people say to me, how do you stay so calm all the time? Because it doesn't matter for wherever I shout or if I'm calm, I'll get the same reaction. But if I'm anxious, they feed off of your own. Yeah, that's what I'm really bad at. So if you can stay really calm, they feed off of that. And it kind of calms them.
Starting point is 00:20:41 So that's not me telling you what to do. That's only like how I've been. But I think sometimes if you come across to them, like you don't care, even if you do. It's hard though, isn't it? It is really hard. When you're like, I'm exhausted. It's when you come back, you know when you were a child and your mom and dad used to say,
Starting point is 00:20:55 go to your room and you used to shut the door like, fuck you. Coase it really quietly. At the door, didn't you? And they'd come in and be like, what are you doing? Nothing. I'm not doing anything. I'm in bed. That's what I do sometimes to shut the door.
Starting point is 00:21:07 And I'm like, yeah. You just got to get it out. You know, have a glass of wine and a cookie way and be downstairs. But yeah, again, we would love some advice. If anybody is, especially we're twins, I can't speak on twins. All I know is that I am one. Do you remember what you were like? A nightmare.
Starting point is 00:21:27 I was a dick. Just saying. Not a dick anymore. So, well, actually, maybe. Only a little time. Only a little bit. But no, if anybody can give some advice, that would be extremely wonderful. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:40 It is a tough one with one baby alone. Solo bedtimes are hard enough, but with two. God bless you. Yeah, God bless you. And keep us posted. on how it's going. Keep talking to us because we are here to try and relieve the pressure of it.
Starting point is 00:21:56 Yeah. Not that we can do anything. What we're saying, just remove everything dangerous from the room and let them at it. I wonder if falling to sleep in the room with them. Yeah, but then you create another rod for your own back because you've got to be in there all the time.
Starting point is 00:22:10 No, fuck that, shit. Don't do that. Don't do that. Because if they're going to sleep, fine in there. It's if, I wonder if they're not going to sleep. So I guess we've exhausted everything. Like, white noise and lights.
Starting point is 00:22:21 Yeah, she's probably tried everything. Just put some really loud, banging rave music on them like, boom. It's the opposite of what you would think. Then you can't hear anything, then if they do fall over. I'm kidding. No. Do not. But we're thinking of you and yes, if anyone has anything that we can share on,
Starting point is 00:22:35 that would be absolutely wonderful. Email us, hello at secret mumpod.com or with Secret Mumpod on TikTok and Instagram. And we'll be back first thing on Tuesday. And we'll have more of your messages on our next Thursday episode. And we'll see you next time on the Secret Mumpod. Club.
