Starting point is 00:01:44 You know, it's funny, Shan, I woke up at three o'clock this morning and I was getting all these things were coming to me in my brain about like, and I, I was, you know, I think death is such a taboo subject, but it needs to be talked about. And I talked to my kids too. And I want them to not fear death because I think there's such a fear around death and it doesn't need to be feared. We agreed to because I think there's such a fear around death. And it doesn't need to be feared. We agreed to come here. And it's our time is our time, our energy transforms, we just leave this physical vessel on this plane. But we never die, we never truly die. And I always think like, we need to talk about death so that people really live. Because if you
Starting point is 00:02:23 understand that you're only here for a certain period of time, and that you that you have the privilege of coming to earth, because not everybody gets to come to earth and experience its beauty. And yes, I know, earth has a lot of ugly things. But there is a lot of beauty here. There is so much good here. We need to shine the light on the good, because the media and the world does a pretty good job of letting everybody know what's bad. Yeah, it's the opposite. Yeah, I feel like it's my mission. I'm like, as long as I'm breathing, I am going to talk about love.
Starting point is 00:02:51 I'm going to talk about the good things. I want to share those things with people and talk about healing modalities and how everybody has that power. And I want people to remember that. I want my kids to know that we have that power. I feel like the world wants you to think what you do every day doesn't matter. But yes, what we do on an individual level every day, the energy we bring into every day matters, because we're all connected. We are all connected. And if we all focus on love,
Starting point is 00:03:20 and send out even if we did it for just two minutes a day, people just sat in a space and held that vibration, sat in love and sent out loving feeling for two minutes, five minutes, for the highest good of everyone on this planet, everyone in every dimension or planet, the power of prayer, it's been measured, you know, and for all the things that we have trouble with, you know, there's a lot of things. And of course, moving into an election year, right, there's a lot of tension. There's a lot of things that are going to be coming up. And I don't think people have to take sides. Everybody can hold to their values and hold to those things. But we don't have to be in teardown mode, tearing others down or any of that, you know.
Starting point is 00:03:57 But we can send love to the side or the sides that we don't understand. Because hating is not going to change that. Going into activism or anything with resentment or a negative vibration, like that's what you're taking into that. But if you come into it from a loving space, like I want to heal this. I want to work past. I want to bring understanding and love back into that space. And that's a whole different way of approaching anything, right? As long as I'm living and breathing, I want to spread that love.
Starting point is 00:04:30 And I want my kids to understand that too. And we all have that power within us. And every interaction means something. And if we bring that vibration, and I understand we're all human, right? I have moments where I have where I freak out or I have a bad day or I need to, I need to take a minute and remind myself all the things that I talk about, right? What is the lesson? What am I supposed to be learning? Why am I triggered? Why am I angry? You know, but, you know, and I think there's like grace in that too, where we all have
Starting point is 00:04:53 to, we're all here living a human experience. So we're going to feel the human emotions. We're going to be sad. We're going to be angry, but we're also can be joyful and maybe look at why are we feeling that anger and, you know, and you have to work through it, like, because bad things sometimes happen or challenging situations happen. So we have to feel those feelings and work through it, you know, just honoring ourselves, but then coming back to, you know, a way to be able to work through it and let it go, you know, so that you're not,
Starting point is 00:05:20 it's okay to be angry, it's okay to be resentful at times, but we don't want to stay in that energy. But I just I hold that as a mission for myself. You know, like as long as I'm here, I want to talk about love and I want to talk about how we have that power to change because we do even no matter how ugly it is, no matter how dark it gets, you know, we can still hold that vibration and we can still bring that to what we do, you know, in the world. You know, it's so interesting. You know how they say in the Bible, there's like the 144,000,
Starting point is 00:05:49 or you hear that often, you know, the 144. Yeah. Think about it on a collective level. And I think about it all over the world. You know, the many people I've talked to around the world, you know, I wonder if it is spiritual people trying to really put it out there and make a huge difference and create this army of light. I wonder, because I feel like this is a time of reclamation, like the world being in fear and having yet we didn't know. It was either hidden, it was kept from us intentionally, whatever. But now that we have the awareness of this power, we really truly need to claim it and
Starting point is 00:06:35 transmute it into light. And this will be then the savior that comes and returns to save the earth. And it's not just one Jesus. It is all of us being able to be in that Jesus energy is what I believe. That is the resurrection, the savior, the returning, the coming of Christ. I totally, I totally agree. And you know, what's interesting about that is like, the more I've learned about Christ, and Christ consciousness, and the energy of it is that
Starting point is 00:07:12 everything that is mainstream, or the main religions, the organized religions teach is not what Jesus wanted it to be. And it blows my mind. And I was angry when I first learned the truth. And I learned all these things. I was really angry. I was about to just like, be like, you know what, I'm done with religion and faith. And actually, I am done with organized religion. I lovingly respect all that are in organized faith. I just it doesn't resonate or align with with me anymore are my belief systems. But Jesus was love. And Jesus did not care what faith you were. His message was unconditional love and care and kindness for all of those around us being a community. And that was the message that's being in Christed light. That's what it is. It's it does. It's not about saying 10 Hail Mary is or going to church every Sunday. And I'm not saying that those are bad things at all. But you don't have to be saved, quote unquote. Jesus never had rules. He didn't have rules like that. I mean, his was the golden rule, really genuinely treat others the way you'd want to be treated. What's
Starting point is 00:08:16 really funny to me, I was thinking about this this morning, organized religions, right? They say all these things about the pagan faiths or whatever that are demonic or oracle cards, tarot, it's all the devil. But hold on a second. I was thinking, okay, let's think about what's really the devil here. How about burning people alive? How about torturing people to get information? How about, you know, shunning or telling people and taking away their faith or their cultural beliefs because you thought you were teaching them enlightenment or saving them. I mean, like, it is really true. Often the things they accuse of others are things that they're doing themselves and they're projecting on another individual. And I just had that thought of, for the people who burn people alive and tortured with the most terrifying looking devices.
Starting point is 00:09:07 It's a lack of love. There's a lack of love there. Because if we truly embraced that we are all connected and when we hurt another, we hurt ourselves. You know, and I think understanding, too, karma and that karma is not a punishment. But when you go into a life and you hate on another individual or you hurt another individual, you have to right that wrong. So whether it may not be this lifetime, it may be another. But then you're going to have to come back in some form, right? Feel bad for Nidhi.
Starting point is 00:09:35 Oh, my God. I mean, I agree with you. You're going to have to learn from whatever you didn't in the last life. Otherwise, what would be the purpose of reincarnation? Right. And we can get off the karma wheel, right? We can reach enlightenment. It's possible. It's totally possible. It's just understanding what we're here for and what we can do. Because a lot of times, you think on an individual level, and then you can think on whatever's going on inside of you. It's kind of reflecting what's going on in individual level. And then you can think on like a, your, you know, whatever's going on
Starting point is 00:10:05 inside of you is kind of reflecting what's going on in the world. And also even more importantly, like your soul's on a mission as well. So it's like, you know, we, we often think this is just our life, but like you just said, we exist always. This is just a shelf life body that we're in, but we always exist. So it's far more bigger than just the problems that we have in front of our face. Like we're trying to solve things over probably millennia. Exactly. And I think too, you know, people sometimes get angry with me when I talk about, you know, like we agreed to come here, we agreed to experience some of the things we did. And I do have some, I do have so much compassion and love, because sometimes people experience horrific things. But there is some level of agreement on a soul level. When we come in here in the relationships that we have the interactions that
Starting point is 00:10:57 we have, there is some level of agreement there. And if you can at least understand that you chose, you had some level of agreement there. And if you can at least understand that you chose, you had some level of agreement. Yeah. Cause it's really hard when you see people, you know, get upset about, you know, that you chose to come here and live this life of trauma. Yeah. It's like mind blowing. It's sensitive because like, why would I ever choose to lose all my children? Right. You know, something like that in any way, whether it be, right, you know, physical, sexual, yet mental? Yes, yes. And there are some really heavy, heavy things out there. And there are a lot of great authors that have done some really great work in those spaces, for people to have deeper understanding of why those things happen. And I
Starting point is 00:11:42 think Robert Schwartz's books, Your Soul's Journey, The Life You Planned Before You Came Here, he has a series of three books. And he addresses a lot of different things. And you know what, it helped his books helped me, even with addiction. So I have a I have a sibling that struggles off and on with like alcoholism, sometimes drugs. After I read that book, and or his first book, he dresses like addiction in a couple of ways in that book, I had such a different understanding of it. So the way he talks about, you know, like, it is actually a brave decision. And I know people listening, they think that this sounds totally insane. But it is actually a brave decision to choose that sort of life, because you it is a life where people are in constant judgment of you.
Starting point is 00:12:26 I mean, and I think we can all sit back and think, you know, if you've seen somebody strung out, or you know, somebody who has a drug problem, we've probably all sat in judgment of that person at one point in time. And when I read his stuff about it, and it's about teaching tolerance, it's about teaching compassion and understanding. It really resonated with me. And but it kind of shook me. And it's like, hey, let's think about this in a different way. Let's have some compassion for my brother for the struggles that he does have, because the struggles are real. And it's really easy for people who've never had an addiction to say, well, why can't they just stop? Well, it's an addiction. And addiction is a battle that they fight every day,
Starting point is 00:13:04 a battle that they fight from the minute they wake up till they go to sleep. And it's just not so if you've not, if you've not had an addiction, then you don't understand that. And it's just not that easy to just flip the switch and just say, Okay, I'm done with that addiction, you know, they have to channel or change that into something different rather than something that is self destructive into something positive, just a different way to look at it so that those are really brave people or, you know, the destitute people, the mentally ill. I'm sure we've all seen somebody out there standing with a sign asking for help. They'll work for food. I mean, how many times have I heard people say, oh, you don't want to give them anything because, you know, they're just going to use it for drugs. And that never felt right to me ever because I was raised Catholic, you know, and so I really did believe and I've always felt a connection to Jesus. But I felt to myself, I'm like, but Jesus would have helped that person.
Starting point is 00:13:52 It never resonated, never made sense to me. Right. Just to put into perspective, too. So my son, Ethan, is an adult and he's on the spectrum. So he's been on this like state waiver since he was like 12 years old. I didn't even know what it was. Someone said you should get him on this waiver. So he's been on this like state waiver since he was like 12 years old. I didn't even know what it was. Someone said, you should get him on this waiver. So I did. And as an adult, they contacted me and they're like, okay, so here's the deal. So it's, you know, he's an adult now. So whoever is caring for him will actually get paid. I'm like, you're going to pay me to take
Starting point is 00:14:22 care of my kid? And I actually questioned them. Why would you do that? I mean, we're talking ridiculous things. Like, who makes us bath? Who takes them on a walk for exercise? Who prepares the suit? Every single step is paid for. And whether I do it or someone else do it.
Starting point is 00:14:43 And I said, why would you do that and they said because otherwise if no one took care of him where would he be he would either be in an institution or he could end up on the streets not cared for so they are willing to pay you know a family or whoever he lives with to ensure that they're cared for. And I was like, wow, that makes so much sense. And then my oldest daughter and I sat around and talked about the homeless and said, how many people, right, are on this spectrum or, you know, have some sort of neurodivergency or mental, well, we know a lot of them have mental illnesses and mental illness, addiction falls under mental illness, right? And as someone who lives with an alcoholic, my best friend's an alcoholic
Starting point is 00:15:32 and around them my whole life, have done Al-Anon and if nothing else, the big book was one of the most important books I've ever read in my entire life when it comes to compassion, forgiveness, being vulnerable, life lessons that everyone should know. I always say they should take off Alcohol Anonymous on it and just have it be a book for all because it certainly is. Yeah. I mean, forgiveness is something that is really hard to do sometimes for people, too. So I, you know, when I went on my whole spiritual awakening five years ago, I was thrust there because at the time I had found out that my husband and somebody who I thought was a friend were having an affair.
Starting point is 00:16:20 And my whole world just like exploded or imploded. I guess it's probably the better word for it. And, you know, I felt all the things, anger, resentment, you know, you name it, depression. I felt it. And I had all this anxiety. And, you know, I had a friend suggest starting with Insight Timer and to do meditation, start doing that. And I found one for Archangel Michael, and it really brought me so much peace. I looked at the person who created it and I started reading her books. Her name is Laura Michelle Powers, and she's written several books, at least three on angels. And I was reading this book of hers, and it's called Archangels and Ascended Masters, And she has channeled messages in there.
Starting point is 00:17:06 And one of them was an angel. And they were saying that things in life happen for you, not to you. And in that moment, something changed in me. I mean, nothing was I wouldn't say that I was 100% perfect at that. But but but it put me on the road to healing. It sent me down all of these things so that I could heal so that I could forgive my husband so that I could I knew deep down I had to I didn't want to live in that space. I knew that it would not help me to move forward to stay angry and resentful. And my husband and I are still together. Our marriage is great. And you know, it's weird for people to hear that are we're
Starting point is 00:17:43 stronger together as a couple now than we were previously, but we are. And I don't regret it happening. I don't, I would never change it. And for many reasons, but I have such a deeper connection with spirit, and energy and who I am and what I came here to be that I would never, I would never change any of it. I would never change it. I have no regrets that it happened. It happened for a very important reason and made me become so self-aware and understand why I came here. And when I had that deeper level of understanding that on some level, I did agree for this to happen in my life. And I think Michael Beckwith said it best, like people are in your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime, you know, so it's not, and I've had, I've had to like embrace that and I've outgrown relationships that it's some people, you know, I just, you just don't, you're not aligned anymore. You're not, and that does
Starting point is 00:18:34 not mean anything bad about any person. I'm not saying anything negative about anybody. It's not that it's just, sometimes we all evolve and grow and change and we vibrate differently. And so we just end up in different circles and different places and spaces. And, you know, that's something that I've had to, you know, experience. And I'm sure I'll continue. We'll all continue to experience things like that. Okay. Just imagine if you grew up that way, thinking everything is in its own season.
Starting point is 00:19:01 Life, you know, all of it, you know, is just, and it's and it's okay you're like oh well that that served its purpose i wish you well thanks for being a part of that part of my journey next chapter you know and and really being not attached to this i mean how can you move forward if your energy is still right here it's horrible what happened you know in your marriage it's horrible you know losing a child of every friend who lost two children. That's the worst ever. So imagining just staying in that. I know I couldn't.
Starting point is 00:19:33 You know, or imagine the worst thing that's ever happened to you, you know, like losing your mom, you know, me losing my dad, my best friend. The pain that you say, just imagine just staying in that and like how your body, so you have a choice, you know, to stay in that or to start a new chapter and, and really appreciate, you know, the challenges and obstacles that you've overcome. Yes. And there is help out there that, you know, you can, you can work through anything and you can do traditional therapy. There's so many different energy healing modalities and people out there who can help you hold that space for you. You know, I always say to people, experiment, try a bunch of different things, and find what works for you. Sometimes you combine things. And when you're finding practitioners or teachers, you want to
Starting point is 00:20:20 find one that you resonate with. And you'll grow and evolve and change. And you'll have different teachers and different things in that space too. Like, again, I think it goes back to not having attachment, you know, and that way you can still continue to grow and evolve. And I think it's also as a parent, and I'm sure you can agree, well, I can't agree for you, but I think as a parent, like it's our job to deal with our stuff, to work through whatever it is that we're working through, whether it's grief or anger, resentment, sadness, disappointment of whatever type, and take full responsibility for our own well-being and model that for our kids, because
Starting point is 00:20:52 it is up to every individual. My happiness is not my husband's responsibility. My happiness and my success is up to me. It's up to me, you know, and that's what I want to teach all of my kids too, is that, you know, your happiness is not dependent on someone else. It is on you. You can't feel it. You know, that's the one thing that I always connected with is that when I feel loved, it's not felt outside of me.
Starting point is 00:21:20 When you feel love, it's only felt here. When you feel anger, it's only felt here. When you feel anger, it's only felt here. So it's not felt out here. You're the one feeling it. It's so interesting how sometimes someone can say something to you and trigger to make you angry, but someone could say something, you're not triggered at all by it because there's no attachment to it. There's an attachment to everything that you're affected by and it's inside of you. It's no attachment to it. There's an attachment to everything that you're affected by and it's inside of you. It's felt inside of you. You have to get comfortable being uncomfortable. You have to do it. And the only way, this is something also I've learned. The only way through
Starting point is 00:21:55 is through. If you are not working through whatever it is that you're experiencing, all you're doing is burying it. All you're doing is you're putting it in a back pocket. You're putting it in a box, setting it to the side. And it's it's still there. And it's still within your cellular DNA. It's still within your body. And I've done it too. I go see my Reiki master. And she'll tell me, Kelly, that's in the back pocket. Let's take it out. And you got to deal with it. All right, I'll take it. You know, because sometimes it takes someone else an outsider to just make a point or say something. And you're like, Oh, yeah, you sit with it. And you're like, you're right. It is in the back. You're right. Yeah. And I've had to pull it out. Yes. I've had that happen. So, you know, it's something that we need those people to shine
Starting point is 00:22:35 that light and say, Hey, I'm so guilty lately. I've been avoiding so much. because like there was one week where i had four interviews not one of them showed not one not one oh wow i was like what the next day what and then by the fourth day i was like fuck it it's totally good whatever oh my goodness it's insane like this is during all the other stuff that was going on the cars broken down and yeah, of the floods and all this and everything. Yes. So I just was like, I, you know what? And that's all I could do was not be attached to any of it. But I do know that I am guilty of one thing is I was in a place of avoidance from it.
Starting point is 00:23:23 I was finding myself almost going back to some old things that I used to do. And I'm still kind of in them. But one of them is true crime. And I'm just, I love true crime. I've got the mentality of a super sleuth. And so I'm always kind of like in the spiritual sleuthing, you know, and covering the Gnostic gospels and the wickedness of the powers of be, but it takes you out of the world. Like you get very involved in it and it's
Starting point is 00:23:54 avoidance. It's avoidance. And it's the, for me, it's not a bad, bad thing, but it is when it becomes your whole day and you're not doing the things you need to do. Sure. And I think we've all can empathize and we've all been there, you know, especially it is hard to when things happen, the storms come and you're in a low place and you know, and it happens. It's hard in those moments to sometimes see the light or see the benefit of what you're going through. It's hard to see it.
Starting point is 00:24:24 And I know one of the things that has helped me is it is really important to have gratitude every day, no matter what, because gratitude is a vibration. And I do believe in the law of attraction. And if you can find gratitude in even the heavy moments, you get through it and you get past it and then putting yourself in a place to allow better things to come back in and definitely having a friend to be able to see it in a different light yeah so much of everything in life is about perception right everything is and how we perceive it and when you start to look at it that at perception too I mean it really changes things I feel like you know I want to choose the lens of, of love and understanding and
Starting point is 00:25:06 really trying to, to see it in a different way as much as I can, you know, as much as we all can. I do. I mean, we're here to live a human experience. So we're going to be human, you know, and that's okay. I think some of the hardest things too, and why death is so taboo is because grief is so hard. And I just think if we all thought about it, that that's part of the hardest things too and why death is so taboo is because grief is so hard and i just think if we all thought about it that that's part of the thing we agreed to when we came here like and that's part of love right like it's a price we pay of love we love and that's why we feel the pain because we loved so deeply because we had that bond so deeply with a friend with a loved one and And I know they're gone
Starting point is 00:25:46 in the physical sense, but in the energy sense, they're with you all the time, you know, and we'll see each other again. You know, like that, that part too, like I know that I will see my mom again in a different space in place when it's my turn to cross over. You know what I think about too, when it's my time to cross over, I'm thinking like, I'm going to finally understand it all. I'm going to understand the truth. Yeah. You know, we're like constantly seeking truth and trying to find what's real. You know, I'm like, I can't wait. Have you read the book Testimony of Truth? Or did I tell you to read that book? No, but I'm going to write it down.
Starting point is 00:26:17 So you would like that. And even more, you would like that because I think that, you know, you and I having, you know, we were kind of seeped in these Christian backgrounds, many of the people who are listening as well. And I was going to ask you, have you ever done a past life regression or any kind of session in meditation where you had a knowing that you had other Christian lives? I mean, almost all of the lives that I've revisited was around at least the Abrahamic religions. I'm not really sure if they were specific to Christianity, but. That's fascinating. I think, you know, so I was telling you about how I read recently Dolores Cannon's Jesus and the Essenes,
Starting point is 00:26:55 and I was so moved. I think Jesus and the Essenes is one of the most eye-opening things for me that I've ever read. And it really truly gives you an idea of what Jesus was. But more so, the first big part of the book is about the Essenes and the ancient information that really points to a lot of the things that are Christian were actually part of the Essenes' beliefs. The Essenes believed in equality of men and women. And you know, like their view was, if a man and a woman aren't taught the same, then you're leaving one behind. How do they work together? And also that you could be missing out on a brilliant mind. They're priestess in the Essenes. John Van Auken had come on,
Starting point is 00:27:43 he is like the head of the Edgar Cayce Foundation. And he wrote a book called Essene. And I was asking him about the Essene and I was asking him about Jesus, if he was an Essene. Well, Mandy wanted to know if Jesus was an Essene. We knew that John the Baptist was an Essene and Mary and all that family was Essene. And even in the Bible, that when the women were in the temples, that had to have been an Essene because otherwise women were not allowed in there. They had a certain wing. And at the time, yeah, they had to be in the women's area. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:14 And so when you have Mary talking to a woman who is not her mother, but her name was Anna and she was a priestess. So she was an Essene. And it was said that the Essene wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls. Yes, it's fascinating. And they're getting that perspective of what that was like and how their belief systems were. It's so beautiful. In the Gnostic Gospels, Mary was such a huge part. She was always asking questions to Mary Magdalene. She was the most inquisitive. And Peter over here was super pissed. Why is she part of this? Why is she even in here? Why are you sharing with her all of this knowledge? She is a woman. Why, why, why, why, why? But he must have not been in a scene. And when Peter and Paul are the ones who
Starting point is 00:29:00 Catholicism, right? That's what it's modeled after. And it didn't make so much sense with the misogynistic viewpoints. They didn't respect and honor a woman. But what's interesting, and I think is coming out now about the divine feminine and the divine masculine is coming to the forefront. It's like a yin and a yang right inside of all of us. And that divine feminine has to be embraced again. The world is in such an imbalance in a way. It's obvious, right? Because divine feminine has been decimated. All of these ancient knowledges, these women who were in touch with spirit healers, they
Starting point is 00:29:33 knew how to use their riches. Yeah, right. Like all of these people, you think about it and you start to think, well, maybe the world would be better had that knowledge not been snuffed out. Had that knowledge been continued to be passed down. If people really understood the karmic wheel, and why we're here, maybe they wouldn't treat each other so badly. Maybe they wouldn't hold hate in their hearts. A compassion, empathy. Yes, connection, right? And really understood those things. You know, so I feel like it's our mission now. And I know people like you with sense of soul,
Starting point is 00:30:04 you know, like when you have a voice when you have a place where I think it's so important for us. And two, I feel like men need spiritual support. And I feel like the divine masculine is as important to rise as the divine feminine. I was so, you know, all these past years, so focused on the divine feminine, and it just hit me through some pretty crazy experiences that I've had, where I realized I was only seeing men as this toxic, you know, masculinity. Yes. And that balance. And you know, it's hard for men to because of conditioning because of societal expectations hard for them to be emotional and not be written off to not be made fun of to not be teased men have clairs men have emotion they are everybody's human as you and i are and they have those things and we should
Starting point is 00:30:57 support and hold space for that too and yes we have been under patriarchal society for a long time so i think that for sometimes for us as, sometimes it can be hard to hold compassion in that space, right? Because of the hidden knowledge, the wrongs that the things that have happened, it's really hard to want to hold that space. But at the same time, like I'm a mother, and I have a son, and I want him to embrace both and to understand the importance of both and to be in a space of where it's okay to feel your emotion. It's okay to express. It's okay to cry. It's okay to cry for everybody to cry, right? It's healing. Crying is a release. Let's get it out. Let's talk about it. Get it out. Let that shit go.
Starting point is 00:31:38 Yes. And hold it in a good way and hold that space for men too. And that it's okay. It's okay to feel what you feel because it's not just a female thing. And you know what? It's not just a female or a masculine thing. We have to remember the divinity that is within us. It's not just being more masculine or more feminine. It's the divine part that's been lacking. We have everything within us, the knowledge, the wisdom, it's just tapping into it. It's here, just discovering it. It's like that self-inquiry, that self-realization, the self-discovery, the journey, it's all found there. But you know what? It's super crazy. I just recently learned something. I've never heard this in my life, so you'll have to tell me if you ever heard this. I had a dream. So I have this monk that comes in my dreams or not my dreams, my dreams,
Starting point is 00:32:30 but also meditations, but I haven't seen him for two years. His name is David. He has a vow of silence. I've never talked to him. He's never talked to me. I've never asked him anything. I just knew that he doesn't talk. But in this dream, I saw him and I was like, oh my gosh, aren't you my spirit guide? And he turned around and he goes, no, you're mine. And I was like, what? Whatever woke me up, which is why I remember the dream. I don't remember, but I could not go back in. I tried so hard. Have you ever heard that? And then I felt like the sense of responsibility. I was like, I'm a shitty spirit guide. And then I was like, wait a second. Maybe I haven't seen him in two years. I've never talked to him, but maybe that's like two seconds. You know, there's no time and
Starting point is 00:33:15 space. So I hope he hasn't been like waiting for me forever. Well, I mean, isn't that too, just some evidence there of that we are in different timelines and spaces all the time, you know, so we're all one, you know, so only part of our soul is here in this plane, in this existence. Yeah. You're a spirit guy. You are too. You know, I mean, maybe, But it's fascinating. And I believe it. It's there. It's there for a reason.
Starting point is 00:33:47 It came to you as a message. Right. And I think that it's fascinating. So I want to know how he perceives me, though. So I want to go. Jennifer's like, I'm going to do a QHHT on this one. But, you know, to find one, at least do a regression to find out. I just want to know, does he see me as a light?
Starting point is 00:34:06 Does he hear me? You know, what would make it easier for us to communicate? I don't know. What does he need help with? What's going on? You know? I love that. You're such a beautiful light, Shanna, because here it is.
Starting point is 00:34:18 You have this experience and you're like, how can I help him? How am I going to help in that space and live there? And I mean, that's just such that's so beautiful it really is I know it's like I don't have enough shit going on in the actual physical world you're just gonna add another thing to your plate but you're you know what the thing is is it's already effortless you're already doing it if you're already his guide you know you're right no it's already you've already there, you're already whatever it is that you're embodying. And you're, you are a light. I mean, you, you have such important conversations. It's really important, I think, for people to have the conversations and be exposed to the
Starting point is 00:34:56 material that you talk about. Because it's not widely taught. It's not, you know, in the mainstream, you know, I think about, you know, as parents, too. And I think we all see this, you know, everybody wants them in all the sports camps, and all of these extracurriculars, and they want them to have all this academic achievement. And I was listening to something and somebody was saying, but what about teaching them to just be in their energy and in this world? And I thought to myself, you know what? They're right. They're right. And I'm not I am not saying it is not important to excel in academia or athletic. should be teaching our kids those spiritual things, the spiritual lessons. But they're divine. Yes, we're all divine. And even the people that you don't like or that you don't resonate with, we all come from source creator. So that divinity lives within each and every one of us. We are all from the same. We're all made up of the same magic and dust and stars.
Starting point is 00:35:59 If we just all really have that understanding, and I know this change, I feel it. I know people are becoming more aware. And it only takes a small amount of people to raise the whole vibration to bring that awareness into the collective, where you can hold that space for a bunch of, you know, people who, who aren't there yet. And I hold so much hope, because I know everybody has the power within them to change, to evolve and to grow. So for a lot of people who maybe don't believe or aren't awake, the power of planting a seed is really powerful.
Starting point is 00:36:35 You know, like it's just you can plant seeds. And I've been surprised by people who I would have thought would not be open, you know, because I've changed my whole belief system. And I would say I'm out of the spiritual closet, if you will, and I believe in a lot of different things. I talk about it all the time. You know, there's a lot of times people will surprise you, they will surprise you with their understanding or just, you know, their willingness to listen to something different. Right. And you know, a lot of times we're talking about the same thing. It's just different terminology to like, sometimes when people hear the word Reiki, they get a little
Starting point is 00:37:09 freaky. Like, dude, Reiki is just energy. If you just want me to call it energy, then I will. The word makes you uncomfortable, but there's nothing witchy about it. There's nothing anti-religion or anything. It's, it's, we're energy. This is an energy modality. There's nothing to be feared. The fear is your conditioning. That's what I'd be afraid of. And it's been practiced for thousands and thousands of years. All this healing where we can transform and manipulate energy has been around for a very long time. It's innate in us. Yes. You know, what do you do when your child hurts themselves? You put your hands on them. Our hands are healing. It's a natural, innate thing. I mean, children,
Starting point is 00:37:53 whatever age, whatever religion. Yeah, we all have it. Everybody can do it. Everybody can tap into it. Everybody has the ability to do it. Everybody can learn it. It's just becoming aware and finding the teacher or the school of thought. And then it's like a muscle too. You know, once you start with Reiki, I know you do Reiki, I do Reiki, you have a deeper practice. The more you do it, you trust and grow and evolve as that person who can really grow into it.
Starting point is 00:38:22 I think every day we should wake up with and have like an intention, you know, just like we have intention for the sessions, you guide your person that you're working on, and you have an intention as the practitioner, they have an intention that they you know, we I always say to put in your heart center and hold in there in that space and intention is everything and what we bring in every day matters. Some of the things in life that we feel are insignificant are the most significant thing. So true. Absolutely. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:54 And I wanted to share, I love Greg Braden. He's written, I think, 15 books, but he has a one called Wisdom Codes where he shares different prayers. And he has one, he really studied the Navajo, they refer to themselves as the Dine. And he has this beauty prayer. And I wanted to share it with you and your audience. They believe that beauty is the missing this force of nature, and that we change our physical body and our energy changes within beauty, but not just aesthetic beauty. It's not just aesthetics. The prayer is the beauty that I live with. It's an invitation for us to remember that beauty already exists in all things, and it's our job to seek it out.
Starting point is 00:39:35 In some things, it's not so easy, but as part of God's creation, we have to transcend our judgments to move to a higher place to find it. And then it's the beauty I live by. This allows us to invite beauty to guide us. The expectation that beauty exists and we will find it in every conversation and our action, even if it's hurtful or disappointing. The beauty upon which I base my life. This is an invitation to bring the power of beauty front and center in our lives as a foundation from which we build our perception and perspective of life rather than a peripheral aesthetic we experience every once in a while. So it becomes like your foundation of how you look at everything. And they've done all
Starting point is 00:40:18 this scientific research that when you choose to look at things positively, it changes your neural pathways. That is just another thing for people to understand is how powerful we are as a being. But even if you have been in a negative mindset, you fall into a negative mindset, you can change your neural pathways at any point in time. You can change anything. You have that power. Power of positivity. Yeah. You just said that there was actual scientific proof, but do you also know, like if you do, I did research specifically on the Rosicrucians and that is like one of their number one principles. They knew these things. These are not new things.
Starting point is 00:40:57 They're being proven by scientists. They're finally coming out and talking about it. It is funny that you're making a really funny and interesting point because all of this stuff has been known for thousands of years, but it's been hidden from people for so long. Finally, we're living in a space and a place where we won't be killed for it. And I think that's huge too. So we've probably had previous lives, previous existences where when we did embrace our spirituality or we did speak truth, that we were killed for it. And that we were persecuted for it. You know, and that that they feared us. Yeah, you know, that that is a space in a place. But now we can speak truth. We're very lucky and that we don't have that fear of persecution. But we can also help other people to understand too, and just have these really important
Starting point is 00:41:45 conversations, start to focus and cause where our focus goes, energy flows. No. And to think that there's women across the world that don't have that freedom still. Absolutely. They can't leave their house without a male. They can't drive. There's a lot of stuff that, you know, that is. So if you have a voice and you have the, that's why I think like we're in a space and a place where we can do a lot of good. We can talk and share and share love. And I can't speak out enough. Like I'm just so driven to share.
Starting point is 00:42:18 It's an exciting time. This is probably one of our biggest lives. Yeah. And you know, I will say too, and I don't know if you felt this, Shanna, but there were times when I was afraid to speak or afraid to do certain things. And it became very clear to me that if I don't do what I came here to do, that my children won't do what they came here to do because I won't have shown them the truth in the way. So once I had that realization, I came to me and I thought to myself, okay, well, you know what? I'm going to do what I came here to do. It's actually because of the love for my children, not for myself, is how I even started my journey in the first place. I could make boundaries for them, but I couldn't for myself.
Starting point is 00:43:05 You can mess with me, but do not mess with my children kind of thing. It was very easy for me to make boundaries for my kids, but never for me. It was real easy to love my kids and never me. But then when it was, they're going to learn that this is a pattern in your family. You absolutely are not loving yourself, not showing them what tools are. You're faking it through all of your grief, your anger, all of that. You're not showing them vulnerability. You're not showing them emotion. And that will be the pattern that you set. And so it was because that I loved them that I wanted to see change in the future for my children. But with that, I really truly had to love myself first. We have to live what we tell others. We have to live that because we can talk the
Starting point is 00:43:53 conversations until we're all blue in the face or tell them about spirit or how to connect. But if we're not doing it ourselves, if we're not showing that, then that speaks volumes, right? Because actions are louder than words. If we're not living it, then they're going to say, okay, well, mom says this, but she really doesn't embrace it. She doesn't really mean it. Even with our clients, even with people who are listening, right? Our listeners, you know what? In life, I'm always learning. I'm always challenged. I'm always going through some sort of journey that's leading me to a higher place, to a higher understanding, to a higher growth. But I think when you master this, we will not be in 3D.
Starting point is 00:44:34 We will not have mouths to speak it. Right. And I think, too, like embracing it, you know, all these things. I don't consider myself a master of anything. You know, I mean, I'm a Reiki master, of course, but, you know, I'm not a master. I haven't mastered life. I'm still learning. And, you know, teachers are everywhere.
Starting point is 00:44:50 Teachers are in so many different things, you know, that. And I trees, birds everywhere. Yes. Nature is such a beautiful teacher. And my best children are our teachers, too. And then sometimes they're a good mirror for us too. Right. And then,
Starting point is 00:45:07 you know what? Yeah. It's, it's pretty hard sometimes when they hold that mirror up and you're like, okay, I need to sit with this and I need to, I need to work this out. I need to figure it out.
Starting point is 00:45:17 They'll teach you patience. I mean, having another, like having an, you know, I have a 12 year old now. I'm like, ah, but no, they don't. It's all good. It's all lessons. It's all, it's all meant to be and signed up for your contract.
Starting point is 00:45:35 That's right. It was all, it was signed up for. And, you know, I do, I do think about too, you know, as my kids, you know, change and grow, I, it makes me think differently about my own parents, you know, change and grow, I it makes me think differently about my own parents, you know, in the Yeah, right. I know places of, you know, what they had to experience with sarcasm is, you know, all the things I did as a kid, you know, I feel like middle school and high school, you know, you're just you're finding yourself, you're trying to figure out who you are, you have a lot of body changes, you know, it's just it's such a different time. We all have to have compassion for the our former
Starting point is 00:46:11 selves, even as much as sometimes I want to cringe, you know, I think about things that I did, or I said, or how I lived, or, you know, but I wouldn't be the person I am today, if I didn't do the things that I did. And now I know better. And if I didn't have the lessons, if I didn't make the mistakes, and I wouldn't be who I am today, then I wouldn't have evolved. I wouldn't have grown. I know my listeners are gonna love you because I love you. You're like in my vibe. I just feel like home with you. Yeah, yeah, you come on whenever you want. It's fun. Yeah, we should do another one. I get deeper once I read the Gnostic Gospels. Yeah, there's so much in the historic timeline of how we came to have this brain and live the
Starting point is 00:46:57 world that we live in and have the belief. It's so insane how much of we don't know. That's what I think is so weird. Yeah. Like we have, we're worried about how we came to be as humans, like from the beginning. No, you need to find out how you got even to America. Okay. Cause that's a whole thing you need to understand first.
Starting point is 00:47:16 I really love Dolores Cannon's work for this. So many reasons because she dives into so many different things that I think not and it's not not just you know Jesus and that she talks about extraterrestrials she goes every which way and everywhere and I just think her work speaks for itself number one and sharing knowledge like that was her purpose and she traveled worldwide powerful women and like Helena Petrovna Blavatsky was like that, you know, creating the Theosophical Society. She's another one. I've read most of her books now, but like I had no idea who she was when I first heard of her. I didn't know who she was until I started to learn about Albert Einstein.
Starting point is 00:47:58 And that's how I. Really? Yeah. I can't remember the exact connection, but he studied her work. What is the book called that she wrote? Oh, wow. Really? See?
Starting point is 00:48:08 There was a book that she wrote. The Secret Doctrine? He studied. I feel like it started with an I. It was. Oh, I says the. That was my first ever even hearing about her. Wow.
Starting point is 00:48:23 I can't believe he did. Yeah. He studied her work yeah so you know and believe me so did carl jung i mean so you have all these great great minds who studied these i mean she was known as the witch i mean i've even had people today on my podcast tell me oh be careful she's dark She's dark. And my answer to them is, oh, they say that about all the great women, the dark mothers, right? No, no, no, no fear around it. Even, even Elaine Pagels, because she writes about the Gnostic gospels, you don't want to read her work. And it's like, well, why don't I want to
Starting point is 00:49:05 read her work? Help me to understand. Why don't I want to read this? She's the only woman that talks about it. Yeah. And it's funny because it's funny, but it's not funny. But why shouldn't you read or research or find out something? That's how you discern. And learning discernment, and I'm continually learning lessons of discern discern. And learning discernment, and I'm continually learning lessons of discernment. And it's different, right? Like discernment is different than judgment, you can discern that there's people or a place or a space that you don't want to be or you don't want to have in your energy field, right? You know, but you're not judging, you're not saying that I hate that person, or I don't want to, you know, it's different to say, okay,
Starting point is 00:49:48 my beliefs and my my life is not aligned with what they are, but they can, you know, you're not saying that I hate that person, or I don't want to, you know, it's different to say, okay, my beliefs and my my life is not aligned with what they are. But they can, you know, you're still sending a loving thing to their situation, or whatever it is. Yes, right, right, right. Because at the end of the day, none of us know the plan for each and every one of us, right? We don't know each other's plans. We don't know why certain things are, you know, happening. So that's something that I've learned too, on this whole journey. We don't know, we don't know. So we shouldn't, we got to get out of that place of judgment. We've got to get out of it. Which is one of the things I love to do the podcast and talk to people is because everyone's story is so unique and so different, but it all in some way, even though there's different cultures, different words, different languages, you know, it all leads to the same basic beauty of humanity of acceptance and love, compassion, oneness, one source, you know, and we're that lights you up. I just tell my kids, it should be aligned with love.
Starting point is 00:50:46 Whatever path you're following, whatever it is, love, then it shouldn't be something that you want that you align. Kelly, thank you so much. I love Sense of Soul.
