Hey Soul Seekers, it's Shanna.
Journey with me to discover how people around the world awaken to their true sense of soul.
Now go grab your coffee and open your mind, heart and soul. It's time to awaken. Today we have a beautiful soul with us. Joining me from Boulder, Colorado, I have Karuna.
She is a Kundalini Yoga teacher and trainer and co-founder of a media company. Karuna
brings her own unique brand of compassion, enthusiasm, and pure joy to every Kundalini
yoga practice.
For over 40 years, Karuna has studied yoga, working from the inside out.
Her certification is with the Kundalini Research Institute.
She practices Ayurvedic healing and is ordained as an inner faith minister.
As a co-founder of Light on Light Publications and
Media, she is the host editor for its magazine's annual yoga editions in partnership with the
International Day of Yoga Committee at the United Nations. True to her spiritual name,
which means compassion, Karuna helps her students from all walks of life push beyond self-imposed limits. Her classes are filled
with humor, music and the spirit of transformation. And she's joining us today to tell us about her
new book, Light on Kundalini, your lifestyle guide to yoga and awakening. I was trying to find your
book. It's beautiful by the way and you're so beautiful. It's gotta
be it's right here because I had it in here. Try this one. Oh, why hey, Guru.
So grateful.
She's such a healer that book I'll tell you, when we were looking for it on your bookshelf,
and where I was doing the mantra.
Thank you.
Every time I do the mantra.
And I don't roll my eyes about that.
But I do say that it's like asking St. Anthony if you lose something.
Then there.
Help me out.
Sometimes every day.
Almost every day for sure.
So you know, it was nice to use it for you in the search of the book and yeah, I wanted
this to be a companion towards a practice.
I know a lot of people are doing other types of practices.
My friends, they bravely see this,
this soul walking this path and contribute a lot of support
and a lot of goodness around it.
But they're also doing paths of Buddhism, and contribute a lot of support and a lot of goodness around it.
But they're also doing paths of Buddhism as we know in Colorado.
There's a lot of shamanic energy going on, sweat lodges, and you know, I almost feel
like yoga in itself is so universal.
We don't even have to explain it as a modality any longer.
I've been intuitive enough to understand in my careers that even starting at age seven
I knew that there was something special about this lifetime.
Not necessarily, oh that's really unique or authentic or special at seven. But I just started wondering
at that age at that first consciousness cycle of seven, not knowing it was the first consciousness
cycle but just kind of living in a small town like Boulder. Boulder was a super small town
at that time and it was beautiful because I could be barefoot. I rode my bicycle barefoot.
You know, I was like, that's how I connected with the earth.
And I look at our patterns and our growth and our decades to come.
And I kind of could see that this yogic practice in itself was going to go through these stages
of this and that and the other yoga, hot yoga, goat yoga.
Yeah, there's all kinds. Yeah. The science is in the book. I love being in a lot of my colleagues
are scientists, atheists, anything can go into this mixture of movement and grace and meditation.
mixture of movement and grace and meditation. And you know, if we're not healthy,
oh boy, you know, and we know no matter what age we are,
what stage we are, we have to maintain our health,
you know, our diet.
I was listening to a really beautiful woman talk yesterday
on just a random as it does happen a lot,
just some information coming through. And she's 36 and has cancer and has had to change her
lifestyle. And most of the time, these kind of things like cancer and death, grief, change us.
They give us this awareness. And this is called awakening, the yoga of awakening,
but this awareness of what are we really saying to ourselves every day and how are we digging
deeper to find conclusions to patterns and habits that we can actually pinpoint and then let them go.
And not to let them go to push them away, but to let them go to siphon, recycle, regenerate,
rejuvenate, rebirth, if you like. A lot of elder colleagues of mine say to me, oh Karuna you know you
shouldn't use these words like rebirth. I'm like hey I just got to tell the truth. Not
gonna fib. I mean this is we can do a series of rebirthings together that work on the mind, work on the soul, work on the
grief. And the student proceeds on her, his own, their own to develop a really different type of
practice. Kundalini Yoga is a 5,000 to 7,000 year old practice.
Nobody brought it, I'm afraid.
There is no one you can say, it's mine.
There never has been a living Guru.
So I'm so blessed to be here and be with your audience.
I'm so grateful.
Oh, thank you.
I'm absolutely honored.
And I'm even more excited now that I know that
you're in Boulder. The last time I was up in Boulder, and it's been a while, that's
just been a long time. Well, no, maybe it hasn't. But the last time I spent time there
was I went to Sean Johnson and the Wild Lotus band. He was playing there and so he's a yogi band and I love him
right he's from New Orleans and I'm from New Orleans and the first time I heard
his music it was by absolute accident and when I connected with the music I
had no idea what I was listening to I had no idea what I was listening to. I had no idea what he was saying.
And I was doing the dishes and my son comes up, my oldest son, he was, I don't know, probably early 20s then.
And he said, what are you listening to? And I said, I have no idea. It's good, huh?
He's like, what are they saying? I'm like, I don't know. But my soul knew,
right? My soul knew and my body knew, but yet my mind didn't quite know. And eventually
I had Sean on my podcast. He is a great teacher as well, but he said, so if you said some of these mantras in English, you might reject
them. Like, you're so conditioned that if it's saying, you know, God is love, love
is God, or whatever, you may reject it in some way. But if it's said in Sanskrit or whatever other language, your soul just is able to embrace it, absorb
it. It's so interesting how our minds can get in the way of such beauty. Like I have
no idea the mantra you were singing, but I was trusting and just flowing with it.
I'm so grateful.
Are you, is your background indigenous?
Yeah, I have a shaman from the 1600s.
He has a great story, sad story.
He's known as the apostate,
the shaman who was converted to Christianity.
They converted his tribe, but he was known as a sorcerer.
And I'm fortunate that the Jesuits wrote a lot about him, volumes. I'm also French
Creole.
Yeah, I'm very interested in your journey and I look forward to watching it unfold.
And how old is your son now?
So I have four children and my oldest is he's 27. You're amazing. You have four children. Congratulations. Four for the heart chakra.
And that 27 is such a sacred that in return time for him, isn't it?
Certainly.
What a and with a conscious mother.
I am so grateful that we can raise our children consciously because
whether we know it or not, it's rubbing off. They're watching every iota of our move. Like
their little, you know, I remember I'd be sitting in the car very, very, you know, distracted distracted or whatever to get them where they needed to go.
And my daughter is prolific writer and reader and super brilliant,
left-handed and she would tell me these stories and stories and stories
and I'd be driving them wherever they needed to go.
I'd be listening but I they need to go. I'd be listening, but I wouldn't respond.
And she really, she gave me a nickname, Wall.
She'd be like, mama Wall, Wall, I'm talking to you.
And it was, there was just such this deeper development
of unity with my children, my children and I needed to be
on a journey together. I know the day that, you know, she was born and he was born later,
two years later, New York, London, they're the, they're the map of my life. I love their wisdom when they come through. And now they've become
super wisdom keepers. Dare I say when they hear this, you know, they'll go mama, not
necessary, you know, but it's true, mention them in the beginning of my book, their children's
pictures of them, they're adults now, but it's quite a journey.
You also talk about that village.
It takes a village.
I want to talk to you about that because it's something I've been struggling with currently
because the village, my community, my state, my country, the systems,
I guess my village is very inclusive right now.
It's very small.
It's hard to trust anymore right now.
You know, I send my daughter off to school and the first 10 minutes of her day she'll
be watching the news.
It's a kid's news, but that's what she'll be doing.
And she's in that solar plexus part coming into the ego also.
And you know, before she left, she cared about exactly where each hair was.
And you know, it's starting where before she didn't care.
I wish that it was more
like when I was young. If my mom didn't know where I was, she could yell down the street
to a neighbor and they might know. Now, I don't know who my neighbor is down the street,
you know. It's different. It's a different time. So you and I must take a moment, shut our eyes down and bring ourselves back into right
here right now, this present moment and ask what is it in me that relies on that and which
was the past, the historian if you like, the age of Aquarius is now, yet
the Piscean age was then, nothing to do with the zodiac sign, the Kaliug, the old
age, the old paradigm which we're witnessing again and again and again
because it doesn't fall out and off until it completes. I want you
to feel that neighborhood. Sit on a stoop right outside of your old house watching
your mother reach out and call you from down the street and you come running
that joyful cell exhausted walking up those stairs getting through that house seeing a table
laid of food abundance nurturing grandmother could be sitting there
grandfather whoever was present for you for your happiness for your joy now
leave that and let's step into your mastery. Why did you call this podcast?
Why did you give it the name?
Because you are your soul.
You are the one chosen.
Embrace and take upon you the responsibility,
the love, the gathering place of sangat, we call it,
or community.
Welcoming, getting to know your neighbors, if you choose to.
Bringing a sweet treat, we call it prasad,
over rustling up your own hair
so your daughter knows, ah, it's perfect, just the way it is.
Because when she sees mama happy she
knows she's happy and that she can understand the news and understand this
is the routine and she's old enough now for us to teach her this is the routine what they do in schools and then set that rose free that thorn that pain and
allow that heart those lungs this winter darkness the days are getting lighter
the depth and our grieving hearts for the longing of that beautiful relationship with our village.
We love today right now to join each other in this podcast. Let us, you let our ancestors in,
the seven generations before us, the seven generations to come, your seven generations to come in your lineage, your
legacy.
And I just only see joy and happiness around you, not to pressure or have anxiety or use the stressors around what was,
but to unite with that
and to let's take it one step deeper
and two steps and three, whatever it takes.
And trust the Aquarian Age and trust this prayer
as we place our prayer hands together.
And we know just by putting the thumb the pinky pressing hard opening press into the wrist open the fingers
index finger Saturn index finger Jupiter middle finger is Saturn. So expressive Saturn that middle finger and that ring finger vitality
and dear sister you are the divine feminine and that is that period full stop and you will manifest as you are. That community, that village, it's already
being done for you by coming here together with your community, all those
listeners, all of you. It's an honor that you asked me. It's an honor to see you in
your neighborhood and it's an honor to see you.
And thank you for being so honest.
This lotus grows from the mud, right? This lotus grows from the dang mud,
but the thumb ego and the pinky mercury
heals together at the heart.
And you sit in this, sister, you sit in this sister you sit in this like I'm
good right when you feel and you pull your navel second chakra negative mind
tuck it up under the third chakra positive mind go to the heart places
mudra at the heart and I want to seal this practice with the divine feminine mantra.
Open those fingers so wide. And together we join voices chanting Namo, I bow.
Namo, namo, namo, namo, namo, namo, namo, namo, namo, namo, I bow, I bow, I bow, I bow,
I bow, I bow, I bow, I bow, I bow, I bow, I bow, I bow, I surrender to you.
And then sealing with satanam.
Satanam is truth, is my identity.
Press those palms together, bow your head.
All of us together, we're one.
We are so unified.
We are the village we just created, this village.
We've always been, we're all one now.
Let us continue sharing this mantra.
It is the divine feminine I spoke to you in
the beginning with sister. Here's the deal. This is why it's a good conversation
we're having. Helpful. The deal is she's fierce. So we have these great ideas. I
had this great idea last May. I'm gonna go to LA and I'm gonna start the Divine Feminine
series of interviews of women.
I've got the camera man, I've got everything.
And then the idea, I get the first film done to add to many, many, many more.
The first one goes great, wonderful author in LA and I'm still in LA and I'm
venturing through other authors and writers and filming and suddenly
these red flags show up who's helping me or how I'm going about doing it or and I realize it's not up to me.
This has nothing to do with me and my ideas even though they were collaboration ideas
bigger.
Because you know as you know I have this magazine called Light on Light.
Works with the United Nations once a year we put out the international yoga issue and we grab
yogis and yogis and yogis that are not famous you never hear about them you
hear about the ones like Sai Baba who you know can lift the car up off the
woman who's underneath the right?
But he gets paid a lot of money to do this right there are yogis that run around
Serving like guru
Guru Ram Dass not wrong Dass guru wrong Dass fourth Sikh guru
Used to go out in the middle of the night and scrub the feet of the beggar, the one homeless has nothing. He'd bring them food without his, he would escape his own
servants thank God and go out in honor. So making this film of the divine feminine, Adi
Shakti, Adi Shakti, Adi Shakti, Adi Shakti, Namo Namo.
Said, sister, you're going to have to switch it up.
Not any excuse.
I heard that and I had to switch it up.
And it took over a year to switch it up, find a new language, find the way I was going about
doing things.
And I was in the process of
writing my book. So patience pays, let the hand of God. It's truly a miracle that
you're now in this position to switch it up, to find this village, to create this
village, to invite this village into your heart chakra, into your four year undenying, no doubt exists,
releasing anything I'm holding on to that doesn't serve me or others to let that go and to really
develop this, especially with those children right in front of me.
So she's fierce.
The divine feminine is fierce, gloriously fierce.
She commands and demands that we be our highest communicator in a way that's not about taking
taking the giving giving, but also taking care so
that's how we find your village long answer you are magical what you just did
incredible so so so grateful yes because you just can get so pulled in so easily.
You also can get pulled out so easily if you allow yourself.
And thank you so much for reminding me of that and helping me get to that space so quickly.
God, that was magical.
That was your magic. That's so, I'm so grateful.
I'm so grateful.
I see you in sitting in Epsom salt baths, taking all that in, wherever it is, just shower
off the end of the day and then have your meal and understand that we're working together
through this.
We're together.
You are never alone. No way now that we know each other.
And now that we're close enough to actually like go have coffee together.
I am your sister in Boulder. I know. It's amazing. Wait, I need you to come up here to the high
country. Yes. And I really mean that and we'll bring a group of women will have a sleep because
that's what I think we'll do our little mini retreat. And we have friends that nurture
us. So we have people that massage you we have people that if you need that, if you
want, if you want to live in the tent, if you want to live on the mother earth and yes, it's all here. We
need mother earth. We need I say divine feminine fears, nature. And when we talk about a way
out and Kundalini, does Kundalini yoga give you a way out? No. Oh, away and again. Yeah.
You mentioned that you brought that up into my job is like, ah,
and yeah, but you Hello, when we shake hands with the way in, we have a lot to say, Oh,
gotta go to bed earlier. Yeah, I gotta take care of myself so I can be there to make sure her hair is perfect. And she is.
Let her just go through that.
Like when my daughter said, whoa,
I was like, oh, sorry.
Yeah.
You want a response.
Yeah.
You want to know I'm here.
Listen.
I was listening.
But using that way also needs a little communication, conscious communication.
We're not failing.
We're learning from them.
Yeah, learning.
Absolutely.
You know, another thing, I was looking at the questions that Sacred Stories had sent
me suggesting.
I love it. Yeah, I love Sacred Stories had sent me suggesting.
Yeah, I love Sacred Stories by the way.
I've loved all of my favorite conversations
I've been with their authors.
But you talked about rabbit holes.
Yeah.
And this is a huge one for me.
So it's very interesting.
I love my podcast.
It's its own energetic entity.
It always brings me what I need,
even when I don't know that I need it.
And it's magical in that way.
I get that.
So I wanna connect with you on that
because I get that with the book.
Yeah, I know that's our gift right there.
It's living.
And I'm not going, I don't think I'm going down any rabbit holes currently.
But when you're coming, when for myself, when I came into this journey, coming out of deeply
rooted Catholicism, right, the curiosity was like, off the chart.
Right. chart, right? And to explore and to learn, it was as if I had walked into a new world.
And it was just fresh, right? So there were many opportunities to go down many, many rabbit holes
because I was discovering really truly who I was for the first time, right? I was just discovering my sense of soul for myself. Yeah, you can get really, really lost in the rat hole.
Yeah, you'll learn a lot, but your brain might blow up.
The one of those emojis, right?
Yeah, we know you brought this up earlier
in the practice we just shared because what we
have to do where we're looking for your village, right?
First of all, we know it's right there.
But when we're in the darkness of that rabbit hole, we have to go deeper, deeper, deeper
because we know that in that war we're being warned as at the same time we're also
working with the light right so we know you and I know that in there all your
listeners know that there's light at the end of that tunnel that one and that
rabbit is such a good rabbit that it goes through and it keeps
nudging us to give it more discipline more food more yoga of awareness and
awakening where we can sit and meditate in that rabbit hole so we're not I'm in a funk, or I'm in cold
depression. And if you are you just take your index finger,
Jupiter, you extend it, you bring your hands at your heart.
Other fingers are wrapped down, left thumb over right for ladies.
And right there at the heart, you just look over the tip of the nose.
Inhale deep into your navel point, push your belly out.
Inhale and exhale, exhale, exhale everything.
Pull the belly in and squeeze, perineum.
Squeeze second chakra, negative mind.
Head up, chin in, drop shoulders.
And release that deliberately.
And inhale through your nose.
Look over the tip of your fingers.
Splay your rib cage.
Exhale through your nose.
And another one. Keep it out. Uddiyana bandha diaphragm locks in up and
under. Udiyana bandha. Jalanda habanda. Neck lock. Squeeze. Mooladhara. Squeeze. Smile. Release.
Inhale through the nose. Draw the shoulders up, around and down, look over the tip of the nose to activate
optic nerve frontal lobe of the brain, removes the mind's chatter, exhale.
Lean back slightly.
This is a mudra for cold depression.
You can do any breath with this.
I took you through three locks, Maha, Vanda, the great three locks, on the
exhale. You only lock the navel on the exhale. When you inhale you only inhale
through your nose if you can otherwise through your mouth. And you pull the head up and the chin in and lean back slightly and then you only squeeze
first chakra tailbone, perineum area and you leave the belly super big and soft
and then you exhale then you get to pull the belly in and that'll activate second
chakra to third chakra to the heart and you follow
this breath and this is a release of cold depression we get iced in our
reactiveness of how to get out of the rabbit hole the deep coldness of the depression, right? How do we ever, but we got to keep our focus, use
the technology to remove the mind's chatter by looking at not crossing your
eye, looking over the tip of the nose, seeing your little hairs on the tip of
your nose or your cheeks, right? If you're not, you know, scraping them off, the hair on your
head, the hair on your body is actually protein. Maybe daughter's just making
sure her protein is in absolute alignment. We can't simplify that we know
what is going on.
And that's why when we're in that rabbit hole, there's a light at the end of that time,
always.
When I first came out of that, when I was in that space, I was telling you about, you
know, I felt very raw, naked, you know, and I was doing yoga and I had a practice in the mornings.
You know, at that time I had three kids in school,
three different schools and I had a newborn.
And well, and two of them were in high school.
I think one was in middle school,
one was in high school, whatever.
And we got a school, whatever. And
we got a puppy, right? And I still have this puppy. And I was like, this puppy would not let me do my practice. You know, here I am trying to meditate and I'm like, ah, you know, and I had
a little one too, and she's not either. So I was like, what am I going to do? I was like, you guys
are going to both have to learn how to, you know, meditate with me. You're going to have to, both of
you. Like this is my time. Like I don't want to sacrifice my time. So both dog and my little
girl is now 12. They learned to meditate and into yoga with me in the morning.
Thank you so much. I'm not at all worried about your daughter. And I wasn't
now I love your daughter. What's her name?
Her name is Kensley.
Ken.
Yeah, my older kids named her so
really? Yeah.
I really like that. Okay, right. We call her Kenny. Well, tell Kenny he she has to meet Karuna. Yes, she would love you actually. Beautiful. You know, super K
right? We got it. Yeah, there you go.
She'd love me. You're gonna bring her up here. She loves Boulder. So he likes
nature. Yeah. Yeah, we're not in flat boulder. We're in the rocky mountains. That's right.
33 peaks. I'm telling you, we need to have a retreat up here together. Oh, was that 33
peaks of the continental divide, you know, and actually even out here in the
plains, you know, I can see the entire mountain range.
Yeah.
And my daughter loves the sun.
My youngest loves the sunset.
Sun.
Yeah.
Sunset to the west.
So she loves the west.
Yeah, she loves the sunset.
But I'm a moon person.
I love going out in the moon.
I remember even living in Los Angeles and I put my head out the window of a car and
just take a moon bath, pull over in the moon bath.
Yes.
Living in nature and the moon is so clear.
So close and so yeah.
Yeah, so close.
She's so close.
It's obvious we're together on a full moon. Oh, yes, I know the
energies. I love that. I'm a full moon kind of girl. Yeah. But you know, just last year,
I connected with the new moon, which I never ever liked. I could always call it, you know,
my energy would be off. I'd be like, Oh, it must be that damn new moon. And it would be.
And one day I was sitting outside, it was cold.
I was letting my car run. And you're not supposed to leave it running here. It's against law. So
I'm sitting out there and I can see my breath. It's cold. And I look up and I see this sliver in
the sky, this new moon. My first thoughts were like, what are you even good for? I knew it was a new
moon. And then all of a sudden she like spoke to me
and literally she's like,
you can't always see your breath, but you know it's there.
I am whole and so are you.
And I really connected with the wisdom of like the crone
moon as I move into my crone.
And I also connected with maiden moon you know that
I'm no longer slim and slender and curvy like I used to be right and things are
shifting and changing but yet I'm still whole and I'm still that mother moon
right always and it was such a teacher. I mean, it, yeah, it
never left me.
I feel your I feel your connection. I feel your
connection to her and the new moon always reminds us of new
beginnings. It's true. And really allowing ourselves to
nurture and heal and understand and write and involve everybody's chaos. Never push
anybody away. Agree to disagree as well to just be okay with. This new moon energy is as profound for me as the full moon and we're gorgeous women dear sister who no image or
personality or ID needed in in the sense of you are all the aspects of yourself the young
the older the whatever we're just another little star in the sky, right? But we're so tiny. If we could remember, as everyone is rebuilding right now, their whole, their whole ideas, I think the destruction of what we're watching today is necessary.
You were talking about with ego and living this liberated,
non-egoic welcoming pain in the pain,
you know, the heart, the grief, you know,
stored in our, in our so as to do a little more
squatting down to the earth. Not looking at yoga practice as linear anymore but
looking at as that tenth body the radiant body from the first body, soul
negative mind, second body, these are chakras as well third body positive fourth body heart neutral mind
three minds get a neutral sisters and brothers and
Everyone get it neutral so we can turn the personal into
impersonal and it still means so much as
the emotions and the commotions is are these things
are exhausting us as women. We're good at multitasking, you
know, throw a man 10 things to do it once they're like, one at
a time. So we have to understand that. But yes, we enter the
Shakti we talked about maha shaktram you know matashakti the mother
she just drives up the vertebrae yeah right and then we go to the Sanskrit of the sacred
text and we call out the mantra you were talking about and when we say satanama, we're really in English saying infinity, sa, ta, finite.
We're telling ourselves, oh, let go of this dense image I have on myself.
Yeah.
Let me take, you know, take it into my heart and walk it in nature and talk to it.
Let the four legged, the winged ones, the planned kingdom and all those that creep and crawl and fly.
Engage in my conversation.
Let me be awakened enough.
And then sata, naa is that death.
So the glorious thing about our structure, our being,
is that the cells replace immediately.
The dead ones die off.
That's not dead to mom.
The rebirth.
Yeah.
So it's the infinite finite death.
Yeah.
cycles of the moon.
Yes.
She dances across the sky where the sun is like that
masculine, right? Just sure to be here in the morning and sure
to be right night.
And when you get up early, the sun rises at 30 degrees, sets at
60, angles and triangles with Kundalini Yoga. It's all about
the angles and triangles with Kundalini Yoga. It's all about the angles and triangles.
Interesting.
So the upper chakras, upper triangle is where we come from.
We work lower triangle down here, pelvic floor, to breathe in our insecurities.
Welcome to be secure.
Take responsibility. So you know what, also in that space,
coming out of the dark actually into a light space,
my whole body was reacting to awakening.
In fact, I had so many symptoms.
I went to the doctor and so many,
the doctor said, you have fibromyalgia,
here's your big bag of meds, right?
But you know, I remember looking up all my symptoms because I was like, you know, internet
was just kind of exploding then and I was like, ooh, I can use this to help diagnose
myself, which always isn't good.
No, it's great.
It's well, it is to be curious and take action, you know, take responsibility for your own,
right? It's holistic. What's interesting is the word Kundalini kept on coming up in forums.
You know, back then, I don't know what forum it was, but it was like a Reddit kind of thing.
And you know, people were talking about how they were going through this spiritual thing
and they were having all of these symptoms, these physical, like their body was shifting as well.
Feeling yoga changes your glandular system without you doing a darn thing for it. You don't need to
medicate, you don't even need, you don't need to do anything, you just need to show up at practice.
And I'm happy to give you a practice like that. Whenever there's this crisis kid
that comes in your way of I have a symptom of something,
we talk about kunda.
So it's a coiled pent up energy at the base of your spine.
But that could be your tailbone.
Your tailbone is so strong
and carries so much information inside of you that the tip of your tail bone
has information. So what happens is when we chant, when we settle in our heart, when we call in spirit of frequency vibration that base of our spine to our crown
starts to energize and you feel different and you don't even know why
you suddenly are craving less sugar you don't even know why you're like I'm
supposed to have something at four o'clock because
my blood sugar is low and yet it's not low at all at four o'clock anymore.
Because I'm doing a 40 day meditation.
Because I'm allowing myself to commit to something.
And I am so happy to offer you a 40 day meditation,
any one of your viewers, listeners,
that will, you have a block somewhere, you know it.
That's that dormancy in the tip of your tailbone,
you have this block.
And like that energy, we're seeing,
in Ellie, we're seeing in your base of your spine too and so when
it moves and shifts and shakes it's not non or allow it's healthy it is said in
the natural way I teach Sat Kriya from the book, How to Stay Natural by doing Sat Kriya.
And I have a manual that are all the pictures in color
and descriptions of all the asana
that we do in Kundalini Yoga, the ones that I love doing.
So maybe there's over 50 pictures in there.
Wow.
And descriptions and an index and all all the reasons why. To answer
your question, yeah, it might make you bright and beautiful, not might, it will make you bright and
beautiful. The soul knows that, trust it. Ego doesn't quite understand what's going on. It doesn't take you back to the old pattern.
Yeah. But I want to offer you, I want to do a mind, not today, but I want to schedule
with you as a gift, meditation from the mind. And there's nine aspects. And there's 27 projections for three
for each aspect. So we pull it down to the projections. And we use that universal cheat
the mind to understand what the earth, wind, fire, water, ether are doing in their palms of your hand. Mantra is doing to awaken
that inner self that is stuck in a subconscious pattern and to offer a new, new reality. And then
you can do it for 40 days, 40 days changes the habit. And it's a commitment. 90 days
commitment 90 days replaces the habit with a new one and 120 days establishes you as a whole new being and that is three months I mean that is nothing I
think we need this more than we have ever especially right now in this year
me too and it's a subtle body year at ninth body above that eighth body,
which is prana, ninth body, subtle body, tenth body, radiant body. It's subtle. It's like us
meeting today. It's just shower. Gosh, you are special. You are super special. I have enjoyed every second with you.
Thank you for sharing with me.
Yeah, thank you so very much.
So where can everyone find you?
I teach on Instagram every Sunday.
Instagram is at Light on Kundalini,
the name of the book.
And my website is lightonKundalini.com. And they can also,
on your keeps, can write to me, Karuna at LightOnKundalini.com, a personal email that
I can respond to.
I love that.
Yeah. It's my gift to receive you. And if anyone wants to do any volunteer work for their seva,
selfless service, if they need a positioning, please write to me. I have many opportunities
with many people doing seva, selfless service. Suggest Karuna at LydonKundalini.com. And if
they have special skills that they want to become a part of, you know, partnership circles and divine feminine circles and synergy circles.
And there's a lot to do so nobody feels their skills are going to be unseen in this.
The painter, right? Share the stroke with each other. And one last thing is to poke, provoke, confront
is only always to elevate.
Always.
And this conversation was true.
It was real.
It was a soul purpose.
It looks different for everyone.
Thank you.
So from the mountaintop down over there, sending my love and light to you.
I feel it.
I feel it.
Thank you.
May the blessings stay well.
