Welcome to the Sense of Soul podcast. We are your hosts, Shanna and Mandy.
Grab your coffee, open your mind, heart, and soul. It's time to awaken.
Welcome. Thanks for joining our special Thanksgiving bonus episode.
Today's episode is about our listeners. Every single episode we shout out and we are so
appreciative to our guests, but without you,
our listeners, we wouldn't have a Sense of Soul podcast. So we are so grateful to you. So today
we invited our listeners to be guests. So we will share a few of their stories with you.
And we're so delighted to have all of them with us today. So our first guest is Elisa Daddino. She is a Sense of Soul listener,
and she's here just to share her story with us. She actually is the sister-in-law of Breanne
Daddino from the Beyond Grounded podcast. We were on Breanne's podcast a while back. She has her own collection of beautiful gemstone jewelry.
She joins us from New Jersey, and we are so very honored that she's here with us.
Hi, nice to meet you.
I'm so happy to be talking to you guys.
I feel like I'm talking to friends.
Well, good.
We feel the same way.
So was it through your sister-in-laws that you found our podcast?
Yes, it is. Obviously, I'm a little late to the party here. So I went back and I've listened to
ones that like really stood out to me. And I listened to the podcast that you and Bree from
Beyond Grounded did, right? And I swear I listened to it about three times
and it was just such a great conversation
that the three of you had.
When you shared the story about like
after your dad passed away, Shana,
and you found all his crystals
and you were kind of, it was before you were into them,
you know, like it really kind of resonated
because my dad recently passed away at the end of May.
He had congestive heart failure and he'd been struggling with it for the past three years.
That's my dad.
Oh, really?
It's the same thing.
My dad got on a list for a transplant.
He had open heart surgery called VLAD.
It's like ventricular.
It's for the left side of your heart.
It was supposed to help, but it was his right side. It's for the left side of your heart. It was supposed to help,
but it was his right side that was weaker than the left side. So it really didn't do much.
He asked the doctors, you know, what is the success rate? And they said 80-20. And so we're
like, okay, that's pretty good odds. And, you know, he successfully made it through that, through the surgery. And
this all obviously was through COVID. So my mom got to see him the day of the surgery, but that
was pretty much it. After that, we could only just like talk to him on the phone or FaceTime.
And then he ended up being on a ventilator for about three weeks. So I think that's when,
like I was talking to Bree almost every day,
just because she was able to connect with his soul and come to find out that like my grandmother,
who is his mom, was like by my side a lot of times. And his brother, my uncle, who passed away
prior and before my dad even went into the hospital for this she had told me that
they were by his side there's just been a lot of death in my family so I'm always like trying to
be connected to them you know it's helpful talking to Bree and I listen to your podcast
and like the soul versus ego and the spirit guides and all that. It's like, all I want is to be able
to get more connected just so I can like feel that they're not gone, you know, that they're
still by my side. And I think a lot of your podcasts help me with that. Obviously, I don't
know how to do all that kind of stuff yet, but I would love to. And it seems like if you're open to it, you have the possibility of actually doing it.
It just seems like for some people, it is that near-death experience that brings them to a different reality.
But I just want to try to do it without having some life-shattering event happen to me.
Well, you have. You have had a life life shattering event happen to me.
Well, you have, you have had a life shattering event.
Yeah.
I very much understand.
I'm so sorry for your loss. And my heart goes out to people who were not able to sit by their loved one's side because of COVID. And
Shanna was able to sit with her father and give him the words to help him to transition to the
other side. So, I mean, that is just absolutely heartbreaking that your family had to do it the
way you did. I'm so sorry for that. Thank you. Yeah, because his heart was just
so weak. It only worked to about like 30 or 40% capacity that his lungs would always fill up with
liquid. And so because of that, he had a hard time breathing. And that's why he was on the ventilator.
But he actually, it was like a miracle. He got off of it. We were able to talk to him.
And it was like he had a burst of energy the next day because he called me at like 7 a.m.
and my brother at like 6.30 in the morning.
And he loved to garden.
So he wanted to make sure that we were taking care of his garden and all this and that.
But it only lasted for about a day or so. The good news is we
didn't have to make a decision. He made his own decision whether he wanted to go back on the
ventilator or have that tracheotomy. He was always, always so afraid to die. I don't know if it was
like from being in the war, his parents, his brother, a lot of people are on the other side. I don't know if
it was maybe he was afraid to leave my mom. You know what I mean? That would have been my dad.
He didn't want to leave us. Yeah. Yeah. I'm really sorry for your loss. This is one of the reasons
why I actually, I'll just put it this way. I had my dad not died. I wouldn't be who I am today.
And I used to say that and I was like, Oh my God, that sounds so bad. But really everything in my
world was just falling apart without my dad. Cause he was such a rock in my life. And I didn't know
if I was going to be able to do it without him. And so when all I had left was myself and my soul,
that was it. You know, Mandy had just moved out of the state. My other best friend had just died.
My grandmother died. I mean, people were dropping like flies around me. I was so scared. I always
relied on everybody else for my happiness and for my security.
So for the first time I needed to depend on myself. I'd never done that.
And so it kind of started there for me. Yeah. Yeah. I love that you picked up on the gemstones
and his little rock collection. Mandy loves that story. She always wants me to tell it.
Yeah. I think you were encouraging her like yeah tell it tell it
i thought that was great it's the ancient lunking and it's so cool to think that her dad was so
interested in these little tiny stones and he labeled each little you know box that you pull
out and shanna just randomly of all the shit her dad had and trust me he had a lot of shit
somehow she ends up bringing that home
and it inspired her to start looking into stones. I mean, Shanna, I don't know how you don't just
want to tell that story all the time. It's so awesome. It was definitely something I didn't
have to fight for to take. Like my brother was like, sure. Yeah. I wanted to share that. So my younger brother, you know, was killed in Iraq in
2007. And I will tell you, I didn't speak with my brother on a spiritual level for many, many years,
but I also realized that he probably had some healing to do before he was able to get to the
dimension or whatever you want to believe that he was able to get to the dimension or whatever you want
to believe that he was able to reach me. But also my own grief and my own unhappiness and all the
energy blocks that I had in my body and my addiction at the time was blocking me from being
able to do that. So it's also about creating a space for yourself to actually grieve and don't
have any expectations. But see, you're so ahead of the game because I did have
to go through something really traumatic to be able to connect. But you have to connect without
any expectations too. You will be able to. You have to just trust yourself and take those steps.
And it might start off with just looking for those little signs. And if your dad loved gardening,
maybe get a garden and connect with your dad
through the soil of the garden. Yeah, it's pretty awesome. My husband, he basically germinated a
bunch of tomatoes from the seeds from my dad's garden from last year. And that was like one
thing that we were able to show my dad while he was in the hospital. Like when we were FaceTiming
him, my husband wanted him to see the growth because it was like April and May, which is still a bit chilly around here.
But so we had it inside. So he was able to show my dad like, look, I grew these from your tomatoes from last year.
So, you know, at least we'll have that.
After my dad died, he came to me like pretty early on and he says that he
was working. I'm like that sucks you know the dude like worked his whole life. So
he died and has to work. But no but there was a lot of like preparation and he was
very busy you know and he was going through like this healing, and then
there's a lot of stuff that he had to do. So he was busy. He was telling me this because he wasn't
going to be able to connect with me for a while. I will tell you, Dana, the meditation episode where
at the end, and you lead that guided meditation, I listen to that very, very often because
I've been trying to meditate and my brain's always like scrolling around. So I'm like,
okay, I need something guided. I literally listened to it this morning too. And I just,
it's really like comforting and I kind of wish it lasted longer. So I've learned to just pause it when I know that
it's coming to the end so I can just enjoy my special place. But I appreciate that. Like,
I think that's really what I want you to know is that I'm sure there's other people out there that
really appreciate your podcast and might have to listen to them once or twice and,
you know, get little things out. I'm sure everybody gets something different out of them,
but they're great. They're really great. And I just really appreciate them, both of you. And I
love how you could just tell how close you guys are because you're always encouraging each other.
And like Mandy, I could, you know, Mandy, you're always encouraging Shana to say something.
And it's just so great.
So I was just so excited to talk to you guys.
I feel like I'm talking to friends.
Man, you've got me emotional.
I mean, thank you.
Because Shana and I started this out of our own pain, you know?
And that means a lot to us because the fact that we've just maybe found you 10 minutes a piece in your day.
I mean, you know, that's that's why we do this guys are best friends, but not everybody has like a best friend or someone that they really could talk to that understands everything.
You know, like, luckily I have Bree. There's no judgment at all from her, but I know my other friends, I could probably only go so far with them telling them certain things, you know,
like crystals, you know, people, oh, your rock collection, you know, it's like, well, they
actually are a little bit more feel like it's something tangible that will help me funny,
because like about a year ago, I changed jobs. And I just felt drawn, I just felt like I needed
something like I just needed something to give me a little strength and courage.
And I was so attracted to yellow.
And at the time I wasn't into the chakras.
I'm learning so much.
And again, like the chakra episode, I literally took notes, paused it, took notes from your
podcast and wrote down every little thing just because I want to, I want to learn about
it.
You know, it's just like, you're teaching me a lot of stuff that's the the beauty in where our journey has led us because we are learning
every single day from our guests or our listeners it's been such a joy because Shannon and I are a
little obsessed it's like when you start really learning things and then implementing them into
your life and you see it working like you want
more more more more knowledge and you just want to spread it to the world like if I can do this
like anybody can do it can you tell our listeners your Etsy and your jewelry that you make sure
yep so like I said I really started getting into crystals and there's this crystal shop I would go to all the time and they had bracelets and I was like, I could make this stuff.
And years ago, I used to make beaded jewelry all the time, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, just for myself because I was like, who else would want this stuff? and forgetting that I actually had certain stones like the natural gemstones in my beads.
And so I was just gave it a shot and I put my stuff out there on Etsy.
I am selling a few things.
Try to advertise it on Instagram.
I really enjoy making it.
And I just, like I said before, I like to have something tangible that, you know, if I'm nervous or I feel like I need a boost of energy or strength, you know, my confidence is low, like it's something I could touch.
Or you girls and I think Brie too, like talking about putting the crystals in my bra.
I'll do that when I still was able to go to like the office and work or sometimes like when I feel a little extra I need I put it right next to me so I guess I just want to share that with others I'm gonna
go look at your website thank you have any questions for us I actually had an idea for
one of your podcasts maybe you've done it so I apologize if I miss it have you ever done a
podcast about like crystal gritting because I know Sh, you've talked about it a lot, but I don't know if you've actually
done one.
And is it possible to talk about it and not visually see it?
Yeah.
No, I think you totally could.
Yeah, absolutely.
So you know how we did this 777 chakra journey?
We were going to do a crystal one and that was part of it.
So awesome.
We're hoping to do that yes
that's really cool one day hopefully I'd like to go to Colorado I've never been out there but I
would love to come see your truck and hang out with you guys I think that would be so great
thank you for taking the time to talk to us just like we are friends because we are your friend. Like anytime you
want to run something by us, like, you know, I had this experience and I wonder if it, you know,
if you've ever had it, I mean, always feel free to ask. Thank you. Thank you so much for sharing
your story and for being with us. And our next guest is Hannah Manning she is a mindset coach Hannah helps you break free from
self-limiting beliefs unlocking your full potential so you can live your life on purpose
I love that we met Hannah over Instagram she is joining us from England. Yeah. Thanks for having me. Oh my gosh. Thank you for
joining us. It's literally mind blowing that Shannon and I just started with this tiny little
idea and now we were sitting on the phone with such a beautiful soul all the way in England.
Like it's mind blowing. We thought maybe we'd get like our local friends and listeners and then to think that
it's expanded to other countries is absolutely beautiful and it's also been such a enlightenment
in my life to see that there's light workers all over the world and you're one of those so thank
you oh I love that yeah that's the great side of sort of like social media and technology
that we can connect in this way. And I sort of found what I needed through your podcast and it
didn't matter that you were on the other side of the world. I just kind of searched in what I needed
and there you girls were. I was looking at your, your blog this morning. I love your blog. It's great. Oh, thank you. I'm an occupational therapist. I'm
starting to set up my own kind of mindset coaching business that kind of helps people
break free from their self-limiting beliefs through going for like walks and talks in nature.
And yeah, my blog, I guess, is just kind of tips and strategies of things that have helped me on
the way and like my own journey. And then yeah yeah that will be up on the website as well and all kind of
linking together that is beautiful it's so beautiful it reminds me of like tick knock on
like people walking with him and him just teaching them how to be mindful on walks. Oh, wow. I've not heard of him. You should look him up. He has
amazing books and quotes and wisdom. Oh God, we love him. He's like 90, what? 96, 97. Yeah. A
couple months ago, I read about a guy who just has amazing positive energy and people pay him to go on walks with him in New York.
Are you serious?
Yep. You just book him to go on a walk with you and then he probably makes a living.
That's what I was thinking about what you did. I just thought we don't have that here,
but evidently we do, but I think it should be like, you know, we have dog walkers.
Yeah, exactly. We have dog walkers. Yeah, exactly.
We need human walkers.
It's like, take someone who can raise your vibration to go on walks with you.
I think it's beautiful.
I could totally do that.
Right?
I think it's beautiful I mean Mandy you know after her coma that she was in she probably
very much would have enjoyed that kind of occupational therapy yeah yeah like connecting
in nature is like so powerful yeah it's so good I will tell you there's one thing missing out of
ICUs inside of hospitals and that is that that, you know, they save your life
and then they send you on your way. And I went from a two week coma and I lost 38 pounds in
muscle in two weeks. I couldn't even lift my arms. I couldn't walk without a walker.
And they put me into a rehabilitation, which can be very lonely in there, but I'm so appreciative to my occupational
therapist and my speech therapist. Then I just went home and it was like, what do I do with
everything I just went through? And I didn't have anyone to explain like that you could have the
PTSD and the trauma from ICU and the, you know, the after effects you feel in your nervous system. And I didn't have anyone to,
you know, talk to me about or explain any of it to me. So I would have appreciated someone
who would just take me outside, get me out into a garden and help me to just connect again.
Sorry, I couldn't have known all that back then, Mandy.
Where were you?
I would have took you on a walk.
How did you find our podcast?
So I was kind of researching a bit more around like energy healing.
And I'd happened to listen to a few other podcasts around sort of like energy blockage
within the body and how that can build up and your fascia and
just other ways that stress can manifest. And I was like, you know what, I'm going to listen
and kind of follow what I've been hearing. And rather than just go to my GP, I just don't think
they'll listen to me in the way that I want to be heard. I'm going to go and get some acupuncture.
So I did, and it was ridiculously ridiculously powerful and I want to bring in
my kind of more spiritual energy healing side of things as well and hear more about Reiki
that I'm actually starting tomorrow Reiki level one really excited yeah so I literally put in on
Apple podcast Reiki and up came sense of soul and I was like oh this sounds good and yeah months and many many
episodes later here we are so that's how I came across you guys I absolutely love how you took a
job that you already had that you were grateful for and then you took what you love in life and
now you're combining the two and you're aligning with your purpose. It's beautiful.
That's exactly what Shanna and I always talk about. You know, you're taking the nature aspect
of what you love. You love being in nature. So your soul knows that's where it's happiest. And
so you're making that part of your career. And I can't wait to see what you do because when you do
that, sky's the limit. And it's so great because you
don't feel like you're going to work. You feel like, you know, you can't even call it work
because it's just so much fun. Yeah, totally. Like I literally, I'm walking in an open field
and this is going to be my office. I'm going to wake up every day and like, this is where I'm
going to spend my time. And things have just started falling into place so far it's funny I remember being on a walk um because my job can be so sedentary I'll like
walk before work and on my lunch break and after put it in where I can and I remember just thinking
like oh if someone had asked me at school like the kind of things that I don't know light me up
the most and where I'm thriving and where
I feel the most joy I would have said like things like school camp like I was the one who was rock
climbing kayaking and abseiling like I wanted to do it all and I was kind of thinking oh maybe I
would have become some kind of outdoor leader and during my university degree they had some
graduates come in and speak to us and one of them had set up some kind of like nature
therapy instead I remember she brought in some like twigs and leaves and things to like talk
about it all that's kind of like oh well maybe I can try and find out like what she did log into
my computer and open up an email from one of the physios saying hey team um I think it's about time
to restart our ecotherapy group does anyone want to help out
and lead it and I was like yes me like send this my way this is amazing and then basically spent
last year developing that and yeah that's been kind of the first step into it and really seeing
how nature does heal oh and you're about ready to go on that Reiki journey. And I tell you, girl, you will never be the same after that. Oh, this is what I keep hearing.
I can't wait to hear about it. You'll have to message us and let us know how it went.
Do you have any questions for Shanna and I? Yeah. I love to hear about people who have the idea
and then actually make it happen. So Shanna and I don't really plan ahead.
We really try to stay like right in the moment. We started out with just some thoughts and a vision board. And I was getting some negative energy coming off of Facebook as our only platform.
And it was hard to be on Facebook so much. And Shanna had already been thinking about this.
So she was like, hey, let's do a podcast.
And once you align with your purpose,
the universe just supports you.
And before we knew it,
everything was just right in front of us.
Shanna, do you want to add to that?
Yeah, so when I started meditation
and this was even a little bit before Reiki, I would meditate in the morning.
And then I would have like this just flood of information that was coming in.
And I would write and write and write.
And I've never been like Mandy sharing my story, ever.
In fact, I decided to put it on WordPress at first. That's where I
started. I really didn't think anyone would read it. I would just send it to Mandy. She'd be like,
that's some good shit. I'm like, I know. I don't even know where it came from. I just got done
meditating and it just like would come all out. And so I just start writing and I would put it online.
But like I said, I really didn't even share it with anyone.
And then just slowly that really was building
like all of the information I was receiving.
I think Mandy as well,
people would come to us for advice too.
And we just kept on like kind of saying the same things
over and over to people. So it's great
to be like, Oh, you should listen to, you know, the self-love episode. Cause it sounds like you're
struggling with that. Kind of just gave us a platform to share that as well as when we were
going through our journey to begin with, there was nothing out there. So having a place that
people could go to kind of walk with them
during their journey about the things that Mandy and I were learning about, we just decided to
share with everybody. It's been able to gift us the platform to reach more people. And then what's
even more amazing that we never expected is now we have on all these guests that are teaching us more than we could have ever
learned on our own. So that's been really cool too. And they're just coming to us.
Shanna and I are like, where are these guests coming from?
You know, Mandy and I, and we're just like, well, thank you. We've had the most amazing people.
And I think JB Hunt is in England. That's why we have a lot of amazing people from,
from where you are on the other side of the pond.
But yeah, this can be a very lonely road.
You know, spiritually awakening and discovering all of these things that before that were very weird.
Some people might think are still very weird.
So it's, I think, comforting to find that there's
people all over the world, like Mandy said, and you know, you're not alone out there. So that's
why we do it. Well, Hannah, you've been such a pleasure. Thank you for supporting Sense of Soul.
Thank you for what you're putting out into the world. And, you know, just taking the time to
talk with us. And we would absolutely
love to continue to follow your journey and direct people to your website.
That's amazing. Thank you so much for having me. It's been such a pleasure. And I'm actually
just starting up my own podcast as well. I recorded my first episode last night. It's
called Pathway to Purpose. So I'd love to have you both on it
sometime to hear your story how you got to where you are now and all the things you've been through
so yeah we would love to we'd be honored that's amazing so it's pathway to purpose yeah throughout
your website and your instagram so if anybody wants to find you they can so my instagram is just at hannah manning which is yeah just all
one thing and the website is the same it's just hannahmanning.co.uk awesome hannah just know that
you always have a friend in us and you always have someone that will cry with you be there for you
we don't want to just be you know these people you click on and listen
to on a podcast we consider ourselves a community and so give us a call and we will never think
you're crazy yeah likewise that's so amazing love sharing those moments you know your voices have
been in my ear for like the past few months and And it's just great now, like seeing you guys as well and connecting this way.
It's been wonderful.
Thank you so much.
And if you need any advice on the podcasting, let us know.
Thanks so much for coming on.
I appreciate you so much.
We have another amazing listener.
She has been incredibly supportive of Shanna and I.
And she is from our hometown right here in Colorado.
Welcome, Tina. Hello. You should have been on here a long time ago, girl.
Thank you. I so love the podcast. How'd you find it? So actually, Mandy had come in to the office
I was working in doing taxes, and I saw the name of the company and it
had this beautiful logo with all these different colors. And I was like, I have to meet these
people. From there, I just fell in love with the podcast and came to meet you guys and the truck.
And it was amazing. I remember the first time you came into our truck, just immediately, we just loved
you. Yeah. Good vibes coming from you. And you were really on the start of your journey, like
looking for meditation classes and Reiki. And you had some great connections as well that you connected us with lisa allison from scotland yes yes we love her
amazing racy ray from new york yes another amazing soul it's safe to say you uh you always vibe out
really good people thank you i try you know i i feel like I connect more with people now because I notice those vibes
a lot more after awakening. So I'm a little more grateful for my own vibes that I'm putting out
and bringing in those connections. I didn't notice it as much before, but I really do now.
So I'm very grateful for that. And thank you for saying that.
Of course. Yeah. Tina, what have you heard on the Sense of Soul podcast that has
helped you in any way, if anything at all? So I have to say the first episode I listened to,
and I started listening in December of 2019. So just last December. The first episode I listened
to was Spiritual Awakening. And November of 19 was when my awakening started. So the first thing when I saw a spiritual awakening,
I just clicked on it and I listened to the whole episode and I've probably listened to it
multiple times. I think the most hopeful thing for me has just been that while you guys are
talking of all these different things you've gone through, I connect with so many of those things.
So I know there's other people out there that are going through these same things. Most of my awakening
has just been connecting the dots of little things that had happened before with my intuition,
understanding the feeling in my stomach, like why I was feeling these things or why I knew things
and other people didn't and why I can kind of sense if people are lying to me and my family
more or less like I can sense those things and I it never made sense to me until I listened to
virtual awakening soul versus ego as well those two were very moving for me and like understanding
that there is a soul and there is an ego before I just thought when I were was thinking certain
things it was my own mind creating them you know I didn't understand where any of this stuff was coming from. And
both of you telling your stories just really helped me understand that what I was going through
was part of the process and it was moving me into a better life for sure. A better life for sure.
Tina, do you have any questions for us?
I do. So I have a couple of questions. My first question is how do you
help guide your children in living a spiritual life?
I really feel that I'm actually, and I know Mandy is as well,
having the experience of, we have older children who we had when we were not awakened,
and we have these littles that we are raising awakened. And it's completely different,
the experience. I just don't care about some of the things that I used to care about so deeply
with them. My youngest, I let her explore who she wants to be. You know, if I see something in her
that she has a passion about, even something spiritual that she sees or feels or things,
I allow her to do that. You know, back when I might have said,
oh, you guys have such a silly imagination. You know, that's not real. But now it's more,
really, what do you see? You know, how does that make you feel? And teaching them to trust
themselves rather than dim that light. You know, for me, I think if you want to guide your children,
it starts with self-love.
When you love yourself and you're going through this,
you're just going to be setting an example.
That's where it's at.
It's being authentic and genuine
and being open about the changes
and what you're doing in your life.
Like saying, honey, mommy has to go take a bath.
She needs self-care and she needs to go meditate right now.
So then right there,
you're modeling boundaries, you're modeling self-care, you're modeling books, coloring, you know, stones, meditation.
I mean, Sloan sees me meditating and she wants to join me. And this morning I just had a conversation
with her about when she gets nervous at lunchtime breathing. So it's all about just modeling it and
then finding things that like Shanna said, that they can connect to, that they love,
and just teaching them self-love. I would also say teaching them about their own energy and their own
space, their own energetic body, their aura, you know, because many of these younger kids
are empaths. I think there's another wave of them. And so teaching them
about protecting their energy, just teaching them what it feels like, what energy feels like,
period. I mean, and this can be taught from a very young age all the way to my son who's autistic
understands it. Also teaching them that something doesn't feel right. Like that
discernment exercise that we've done so many times, like entrusting their energy and how
things make them feel. Right. So yeah, teaching them to be mindful and to set boundaries would
be like super important. Absolutely. And, you know, teaching, not just
teaching them, helping them experience it. Cause that's very, we've, we've learned recently,
that's very two different things. You can teach and teach and teach, but if you don't show them
the purpose, they're not going to want to learn. But if you let them experience it and find creative
ways to let them experience it, then that's a whole nother story. That's a whole nother level
of teaching. They experience it, they feel it, then that's a whole nother story. That's a whole nother level of teaching.
They experience it, they feel it, then that's where it really happens. Thank you for that.
I think that is going to be very helpful. And then one of my other questions, what is something,
Mandy, that makes you happy and or laugh when you think of Shanna and vice versa? Maybe a story.
I think something funny about Shanna is that we both tend to just like do really stupid shit.
Like yesterday she was on the phone, actually on speaker searching for her phone. And then she was
like, Oh wait, I'm on it. And I'm like, oh God, I love you. Another thing is she has ran out of gas
more than anyone I've ever known in my life.
And so I used to always be her rescuer
on the side of the road.
She's gotten a little bit better at that,
but she reminded me like of a teenager.
Like they wait till the very last second
till the very last ounce of gas in their gas tank.
So she's fricking funny.
I love her.
I just think she's hilarious.
I agree.
I think how scared she is of raccoons is kind of cute.
I have to agree with that one.
I think I love the connection with the raccoons.
And we've even talked about it a few times.
And it's so funny.
Yeah.
For Mandy, I love that she is so open and vulnerable about, you know, some of the silly stuff that she has said or done and she can laugh at herself.
I think that it's hilarious that she can.
Mandy's good.
Like if she did it to me i might even get butthurt
yes mandy's gonna be a great sport and she's just gonna always go with the club are you kidding me
oh my god that's what i love about her oh my god we laughed so hard if you could just hear like
the funny like i swear mandy and i have always said we should have done just a whole episode of
outtakes. It's the funniest shit. Oh my God. Like hilarious. And she's inappropriate,
absolutely inappropriate. And I love that about her. I agree. I agree. Yeah. But I mean, Mandy's
heart is always in the right place. So that's why it's, it's all good. Yes, absolutely. I love it.
I wanted to thank you guys. Like Shanna, you have just been amazing. You taught me Reiki. You spent
a lot of time and energy and guiding me. And your website has some amazing stories. You have
a blog on there, numerous things. You've talked about angels and aliens. You talk about meditation. And I know Mandy has
someone there too and her story as well. It is amazing. And I know it's going to reach many more
people. Shanna has really, really dumped her heart and soul into our website. It is so beautiful.
It is captivating and the pictures and her, her writings. And literally that website is going to be a legacy
to you, Shanna, because it is just, I mean, it's mind blowing. I might be biased, but I think it's
probably one of the most beautiful websites I've seen. Yeah, I have to agree. And I've been in my
journey. I've been to so many different websites and I don't think there's one that I go back to as much as I do to the Sense of Soul website because there's just so much good advice there.
Mandy, I want to tell you thank you.
I come from a family of addicts and you understand.
You and your recovery just makes me know that there are people that can overcome all these things. I myself have not been
an addict to drugs or alcohol, but my whole family has. My whole family. My mom is a recovery
addict. My sister is. Everyone that I connect with in my family is some type of an addict in
some way. And so I just wanted to thank you for being so open about all of that stuff and
understanding that people have these things
that they have to overcome,
whether it is addiction or mental abuse,
different things.
Thank you, Tina.
Yeah, I mean, that's the one thing about self-love
is that when you get it,
you're able to be vulnerable and share without shame
because you're grateful for the experience
and you're grateful for every experience and you're grateful for every ounce
and part of it. So I share with hopes that I can just reach one person and help them and let them
know there's hope for them because there is. I'm here for anyone ever if they need guidance,
hit me up, inbox us. You know, I feel like I've been learning this entire time too. Like by no means do I feel like I'm an expert or even deserve in some ways you're so very kind comments. And I mean, I learned from even you and I hope to all learn together and support each other, I don't feel that, you know, this journey ever will end. You know,
it keeps going and going and going and we're constantly learning. And when we don't learn
anymore, we're dead. Right. True. You know, you're always continuously grow even after physical life.
And I think that it's just amazing that, you know, the people who listen to
our podcast and you and Mandy and all of us, we're all connected. I'd love that you reached out to
us so that we could be blessed with knowing you and having you in our lives. And I really do hope
that more listeners do. Yes, absolutely. If all the listeners listening right now, just listen to one of the episodes.

And she's got a lot of experience and she's on the same journey as we are.

So I know that I saw one of my cousins had even said, I had to know this girl and reached
out to you.
And I thought that was so special.
And I appreciate you responding to him.
Yes, absolutely.
If anyone ever has questions,
I know sometimes connecting with people who are on podcasts or even people who are just doing
lives on Facebook, sometimes it seems a little intimidating. Promise you, Shanna and Mandy
are not like that. Mandy's in her closet. Exactly. So it's totally cool you can they are just everyday people that are sharing their
badass stories and they want to get to know you as much as you want to get to know them
yeah and just so everyone knows i go to bed at like 10 and i sleep till like 10 shanna if you
have questions and you need someone at night, hit her up.
Cause she's up till like 3 AM.
Everyone knows if you have something during the day, hit Mandy up.

This is why I wanted to do this because we never get to see our listeners.

And so this just means so much to me. Go to our Facebook. Go to our listeners. We never really get a lot of engagement with them. And so this just means so
much to me. Go to our Facebook, go to our Instagram, Sense of Soul SOS. We even have a
