let's go hi guys and welcome back to sex lies and dm slides it's thursday which means we are back for another bonus episode now in tuesday's episode we spoke about dating boundaries um which can be a minefield um today we thought we'd speak about whether or not you can actually fall in love at first sight. I'm laughing at this because I've always believed in the fairy tale. I don't know if I believe literally at first sight, but I think you can fall in love with somebody very quickly. I don't know. Love.

Anyways, we'll discuss it. Love is a big word. Yeah. Refine actually being in love and being in love with the idea of someone or thinking you're in love is two very different things. We did a poll on our Instagram asking whether you can fall in love at first sight and 58% of people said yes, absolutely. And 42% said no way.

Now 58% is actually very high high i'm shocked by that i thought it was going to be really low for the yeses but i'm loving the optimism in the room thank you all so much being so optimistic about it we're all gonna find out one day hopefully at first sight do you believe you can fall in love at first sight when we say first sight we literally mean first sight before we even know anything about them. Yeah. No. I think you can look at someone and just get a weird feeling maybe

and be like, ooh. But, like, that's maybe more you fancy them. Like, am I falling in love with you? Mm-hmm. No. Like, I don't know you fall in love with you. You can't fall in love with somebody you don't know. You could think they're the most beautiful.

Yeah. You could think they're the most beautiful. Yeah. You could think they're absolutely gorgeous. Talk to me for five minutes and you're a dickhead. Like, do you know what I mean? really probably wouldn't have gone out but um yeah there was this guy you would have found a way yeah you know and there was this guy and um I honestly like I think I've said this before but I find it really hard to find someone really attractive like I find people like really good looking but it's very rare that I come across someone who's really my type and I spotted him he was like two or three people away from me and I said to Byron that is the most beautiful boy I've ever seen please tell me you spoke to him no so i didn't i was shy and with a lot of people from around so i got nervous um but we looked at each other and then we looked away and it was each other and he like he tapped his friend and like looked at me and they looked at

me up and down oh my god no i hate that and i was like there was potential for you guys to there was there was definitely potential but he was beautiful and I was like oh my type is out there somewhere make that but that wasn't love at first sight that was lust like sure but okay hear me out question probably going off topic but if his mate went up to you and said my mate thinks you're beautiful blah blah would you think that's unattractive that he didn't go up himself or do you still just be glad that somebody just went over and said something i'd still be glad that like oh he found me attractive but i would prefer the friend to come over to me but like i've been in that situation before where like if my friend fancies someone i would go up to the guy and be

like my friend fancies you so i get it because i was too nervous like i know there's someone there yeah i know that if i said to someone there like oh i said to byron but byron's not gonna go up to somebody like you're right mate she fancies you but like if i said it to one of the girls i know one of the girls have been straight over there yeah i would do that for you but but the thing is it sounds so immature doesn't it and it could be really unattractive also if you've been looking at each other that it's frustrating because even me i'm like for god's sake why don't one of you go up to each other you should have a friend i thought about it but i i know when i got back i said to haz because haz is here and i was like that was the most beautiful boy in albert and i just couldn't believe it and she's like would you speak to him and i was like no so he's gone now but i might see him again he's a manchester

boy i'm gonna assume he's a manchester boy so yeah if i see him again at least he's in your area if i see him again i will go up to him and i will say something like i'll just i'm gonna have to because maybe that was but he should come over to you that's the way i know i know i know i don't really want to be going over to him because he was so good looking i know he would have had loads of girls going up to him like he was that sort of pretty boy you know my type it's very pretty boy would i have thought he's attractive uh you would have yeah you did you wouldn't million percent of pointed at him and said anna that's your type right okay like hands down like yeah when i see your type and i'm like oh my god seth that's your type that's the exact reaction you would have had whenever anna sees my type she texts me if i'm not

I've never had that euphoric feeling. No. I mean, to be honest, it sounds like an instant connection. Have I felt an instant connection if I'm looking at someone? Yeah, I said the first time you meet them. I've definitely felt that with friends, but not with a boyfriend
