Starting point is 00:02:24 You know him, you love him. you're obsessed with him from the valley. Or you hate me or... No one hates you, everyone is obsessed with you. Well. The truth speaker. You're what everyone is thinking. Oh, thank you, that is correct. In real life too, I mean you are who you are,
Starting point is 00:02:37 the valley and real life, but it's a hundred percent true. That's why I love you so much and slash hate you at times. But you know what? You love me in the end because of that. That's one I love you so much and slash hate you at times. But you know what? You love me in the end because of that. That's one million percent true. Like today, right when you came over and you said, how is Jenna today? Which is our friend Jenna Willis,
Starting point is 00:02:53 who I started working out with last week. And I was like, oh, didn't see Jenna today. And I said, are you going to see her tomorrow? And then you were like, no. And then I was like, well. And then you gave me judgmental eyes. And I had to immediately go, but she told me not to freak out about it
Starting point is 00:03:08 because I already started freaking out about it and I'm just gonna hit the treadmill. Yeah, she just doesn't know you. Like I know, I feel like even if, you know, people deal with people different ways and I luckily just have a relationship with you where I can get you to do stuff because I know how to talk to you.
Starting point is 00:03:26 And also you just know that I'm doing it for your best interests. Yes, that's true. And I really did, to just be fair on the workout front, I really, really, really was excited about it this week. And you did do it last week. You have started. But missing my sessions this week,
Starting point is 00:03:41 like had to film interviews on Tuesday. There's nothing you can do about that, obviously. And then I had an appointment yesterday and it was like, I told Jenna, I go, it's like, all of a sudden, I feel like I have nothing going on, and then I have an appointment every single day at like 10 o'clock. It's like not early in the morning and not late enough in the afternoon, so it's smack in the middle of my day.
Starting point is 00:04:02 And it's like hard for me to do things before or after. I don't know if that's like the ADD or... Or is that you making excuses? No. It's not. Not when I had to be, especially today. Well, today... Today I was doing charity work. You were doing charity work.
Starting point is 00:04:18 However, you had time for her to come in the morning. So I don't know, did you skip that? No, I had to leave by then. Oh. Yeah, remember? Nice try. See? Yep. Speaking of that, speaking of working out, being fun but hard, I have a treadmill in my living room now. It's like one of those little, like, just under $400 ones on Amazon.
Starting point is 00:04:40 I just need to walk, I just need to move my bod. And part of me wishes I would have just taken your treadmill, Zach. You told me. I want to know because it's in my living room, when the baby play area is gonna be, in four, three, four months, I'm either getting rid of it or I have to move it outside. And Luke does think that we could put it on the back patio
Starting point is 00:05:02 with like a cover on it. Did you have a cover on yours? I didn't even have a cover on mine. It was wind, dust, wind, everything. That shit still worked. It rained on it? Like, sideways rain? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:16 Yeah. No problem. Now, we did not keep it plugged in. Fair. That would have been very bad. So unplug it first. Unplugged, keep it unplugged. And then we had an extension cord
Starting point is 00:05:30 whenever we were gonna use it that we would just then attach it, you know. Make sure it wasn't wet, but then attach it. Yours was a nicer treadmill than my $399 one. I promise you it was not. It was just bulkier, but it was crappy just like your... I mean, not that yours is crappy, but yours is fine. Yours is great. It's cheap for a treadmill though, yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:51 I don't know if that can withstand the rain in LA. Honestly, you have a big enough awning on your back patio or whatever that it'll be fine. But yeah, if you just put a cover over it, that'll be... I'm not gonna lie though, I feel like an elephant on it. patio or whatever, that it'll be fine. But yeah, if you just put a cover over it, that'll be, that's not going to lie. That I feel like an elephant on it. Like when I'm at Brittany's house working out and I'm on her peloton, because her peloton is massive and it's like a, yeah. And I'm like, oh, I feel like it's a feather.
Starting point is 00:06:15 And then they go on this one and I'm like, boom, boom, like a fucking dinosaur just like trucking through. It's pretty alarming. Yeah. You feel like you're on like Polly Pockets treadmill. Yeah. And like my belly's hitting the desk, and my legs are so long.
Starting point is 00:06:31 Like I truly don't know if you could walk fast on that. I think your legs would be so long. I'd probably just have to walk really slow. Yeah, anyway, I was just thinking. Or not my full stride. I was thinking about how you had a treadmill on your patio and I was like, huh, if he could do it, I could too. Well, and you are so. Yeah. No, I mean, I'm outside. Oh, outside. Yeah, you should though. It'll be fine. Cause you know what else we bought? Cause you know
Starting point is 00:06:52 how I just like to buy things. I get really excited about them and I'm like, this is what we're going to do. And then I don't. Luke and I have that. Or you do and then abandon it three days later. Yes. Mostly that. So this is something I have not yet abandoned because I haven't tried it yet. Wow, okay, perfect. Have you ever seen those things you put on your wall and it syncs to the music and it's like a boxing workout? So it has like, I don't know, I think it's like... Oh, the... Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:16 It's like a, yeah, like a hexagon or something maybe. I think it's like six of them. And yeah, it like lights up to the beat of music and you like punch it to that. So we bought one. I don't know how long ago, maybe like lights up to the beat of music and you like punch it to that. So we bought one. I don't know how long ago, maybe like two or three months ago. I thought you were gonna say two or three years ago. And I was about to be like, okay, we need to abandon this.
Starting point is 00:07:33 I was gonna say like six months ago, but we haven't lived here that long. So sometime right after we moved in, I think. Yeah, because that's when I basically got pregnant. And then we're like, yeah, we'll put it out on the patio and like rain or shine. We can always work out there because I have all my boxing stuff Yeah, because that's when I basically got pregnant. And then we're like, yeah, we'll put it out on the patio and like rain or shine. We can always work out there because I have all my boxing stuff
Starting point is 00:07:49 because I did use the box back in the day. Yeah, all the time. And like was really good fucking shape. But now it's just sitting in its box. Like we haven't even removed it from the box yet. We can remove it from the box after this podcast. We'll just stay tuned next week to see if that happens. No, because I'm going to be like, it's okay. We'll just stay tuned next week to see if that happens.
Starting point is 00:08:05 No, because I'm going to be like, it's okay, we'll just do it next time. Yeah, see, I think I've been, like, I haven't been here enough. No. You know what I mean? Because I've been gone and stuff's going on. So I feel like-
Starting point is 00:08:15 Because you always have plans. Because you're always going to like a party or a premiere or like a live taping. Oh, I want to talk about that. I think this is fascinating and I I think people too, well, not the premiere and party stuff because you're just too cool for school. But Zach and Benji, Benji usually goes with you, right? That's my boyfriend. Yes. Zach's, Zach's ma'am.
Starting point is 00:08:37 They go to these tapings of sitcoms. They're always sitcoms, right? I would assume. The only ones we've done. Yeah. I would assume most other genres of show would not do a live taping. Yeah, like why would you have a live taping of like, SVU? Yeah, that would be so weird. It's like, shh, don't make a noise. But like, I forgot about that world. Like, I've never been to one, but it was such a huge thing, especially like in the 90s.
Starting point is 00:09:04 And like, Full House, Friends, like Family Matters, like all of those shows, you know, it was such like a staple of our childhood to hear the laughing. And I don't know at what point they use laugh tracks and what point they didn't, but I kind of didn't know that they had live audiences anymore.
Starting point is 00:09:20 Actually, what's kind of crazy is the guy who's like, let's just call him the head of the audience, like, you know, in charge of the audience to like keep him hype or play games with them when there's downtime. Yeah, the hype guy. He also, this one that we have, he was the main guy on Will and Grace.
Starting point is 00:09:37 He was the... Yeah, so he was the main hype person for Will and Grace. He's like worked on... He's done like... He's made a whole career out of this. This is his career besides like him doing, I think he does writing and some acting on the side as well. But he also gives you kind of a history lesson
Starting point is 00:09:54 and you can ask questions and like- Is he annoying? Okay, I don't wanna ask him. Have you ever experienced a hype person who is annoying as fuck though? Well, I will say, so I've been to this one specific guy twice, because me and Benji have been going to the same show. It's called Mid-Century Modern.
Starting point is 00:10:12 It's going to be with Nathan Lane and Matt Bomber. It is literally so funny. Because it's based in Palm Springs. It's basically like what I would say is like, because it's the same people that created Will and Grace. And the show's not out yet, you said? It's not out. It'll be on Hulu eventually, but they don't have a date. I don't even know if I'm technically allowed to say I saw it, but I think I am.
Starting point is 00:10:34 So whatever, it's here. But it is so funny. It's so good. So we've been going to several tapings and the audience manager, hype man, as you want to say, the problem is some of his stuff is the same. Because they don't think they're going to get repeat people, and I'm like, oh, we heard this last time. So, like, I obviously know some of it. And you just know it by heart. Yeah, because I've already done it multiple times.
Starting point is 00:10:56 Yeah, that used to happen when I would go to Dancing with the Stars. So, I'd obviously, I've gone to it very few times before Ariana was on it. And then when Ariana was on it, I think I went three times. But our friend Brad, as everyone knows him, Brad X Brad on Instagram, Brad Kearns, Brad went like almost every single time with Ariana and he knew the hyphens like script. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:18 Yeah, exactly what you just said. They're wonderful and they're necessary. Because there are some like sourpuss kind of lame-os in the audience and it's like, come on, guys, like, you gotta have energy. And there's downtime. You gotta keep that up. I've been to a couple other, like, The Voice and other shows like that, and I've had some people
Starting point is 00:11:38 that I, like, seriously wanna punch in the face. Stop telling me, like, louder! With, like, the big joker smile and I'm like, I'm gonna donkey kick you right in your fucking teeth. I feel bad saying that because they're just doing their job. But it's too much training. I was like, you kind of should because like they're trying to get... I do. I feel bad that I'm the Grinch about it.
Starting point is 00:11:54 But it's too much. Well, they're trying to get those few people that they need to get their energy up. Not you. They're unfortunately, they're doing the opposite effect for you. They're making you worse. But yeah, they have a hard job and they have to the opposite effect for you. They're making you worse. But yeah, they have a hard job and they have to do it over and over. So I'm sure, like, I would do the same thing. You have your repertoire, you go back to...
Starting point is 00:12:13 How long is a taping? So that show, do you know if that's a 30-minute or an hour show? Yeah, so it's a, well, it's for Hulu, so it's like a 22-minute. So most sitcoms are about 22 minutes, but when you're a streamer, you can fluctuate. So some of the episodes could be 30, 22, whatever. It doesn't matter because they don't have traditional commercials. But he was saying like back in the day, it was 22 minutes, you had very specific things you had to get in.
Starting point is 00:12:38 And he said that with Friends, an episode of Friends would take 12 hours. And they would have... So they would have a first audience, and then they would have what they would consider like a fill-in audience for anybody that had to leave, because it's 12 hours you're there. People would just hold their pee, they would just like not leave, and like nobody would leave.
Starting point is 00:13:00 You can, you can, but like people wouldn't. It's like being at a theater. If it's not an emergency, you don't just get up. But there's still breaks between scenes, or they'll run a scene again. There's plenty of times for you to pee, there's plenty of time. The ones we've been going to give you dinner. So we've been getting dinner and snacks and stuff in between. They have craft services for you?
Starting point is 00:13:22 I mean, handed out craft services, so we don't get to choose, but like, like when you're on an airplane, they're like, would you like some? You can have this. Popcorns. Well, it's more like, well, I guess it's vegan or here's this turkey. They do have a vegan option, maybe a gluten free, but, um, but yeah, it's just like really interesting. So they said friends was like, could be 12 hours for that 22 minutes each
Starting point is 00:13:44 episode, but he said it was so much fun to be on. And then he did Will and Grace and he said the most challenging episode he ever had was the whichever one was like the live taping because it was taped live and there were so many moving parts and he said it was so crazy but so worth it in the end. But ours, I think we go at three, we get in line at three, it starts at four and we get out before eight. And we have a break at some point for dinner.
Starting point is 00:14:09 That's longer than I would have assumed prior to this conversation. Like, I would have guessed, I don't know why, like, I would have been like two and a half hours or something. I would have too, because, but they, but it's funny because you'll see that they'll run the scene a couple ways. They'll add jokes or take out jokes, which is so funny. Is the studio small? So even if you're not sitting up close, are you close enough?
Starting point is 00:14:32 Yeah, you're close enough in any seat. As long as you get a seat in there, you see it happening. And they have screens, so you see it on the screen too. And someone from the cast always comes over. Can you sneak drinks in or do they like pat you down? You know what, I... You've never thought of it? Oh wait, you have to go through a metal detector.
Starting point is 00:14:53 Okay, well you can put a plastic flask. Okay, then maybe you can get away with that. I would 100% have like a vodka, like a dirty vodka martini like in a tampon tube. Well see, I know they don't want people to get drunk and then be belligerent. Because they, ugh. What if it just makes you even keel?
Starting point is 00:15:10 Because some, like one of the tapings, there was a person who, I could tell she was just doing it innocently because she was an older lady. But her laugh and her everything was so over the top. It was so distracting for everybody in the audience, let alone, I'm sure the, they had to literally tell her multiple times to stop.
Starting point is 00:15:29 And then they finally told her one more time, like you cannot talk or like laugh. Like you really, you're ruining. Extra annoying. Yeah. Which I thought was crazy, but I'm not gonna lie. It was an extreme, it was an extreme situation where like, it's not just loud laughing, it was like... There are gonna be too many mishaps like that,
Starting point is 00:15:48 and they're gonna start like testing people like, can you give me an example of your laugh? Right, can you just start laughing right now? Yeah. Oh my God, it was crazy. But yeah, they're really fun. That does sound like a lot of fun. Yeah, so if anybody's in LA that wants to do it, or if you're coming to LA, it's one iota,
Starting point is 00:16:06 like the number one iota, and you just like find whatever's taping. And I never knew anything about this. It wasn't until Benji moved here, and he's like, he's like, so we're gonna go to this? We're gonna do that? I was like, what? You do things in LA?
Starting point is 00:16:18 I was like, I had no idea. I thought maybe you heard about it from Nia. No, he's the one. Because of the twins being on that show. Which we still have not gone to. We need to actually do that. Georgia Mandy, right? What's it called? Georgia Mandy's first marriage.
Starting point is 00:16:30 Yes. That's a funny name for her show too. First marriage. Well, it's because they, in the Big Bang universe, they had already said that his brother, Georgie, had been divorced. So they had to say that they're getting a divorce because in the world of that, their universe. So many layers. I'm so far behind. I'm still stuck on Friends. I'm gonna live in the 90s.
Starting point is 00:16:53 I'm like, I'll watch Friends reruns all day long. I can't with you. You know, every January, I catch myself staring at a list of New Year's resolutions. I have a question for you because you've been to lots of places. Have you been to the Bahamas? Did I ask you this?
Starting point is 00:20:21 You have not asked me this. Have you been to the Caribbean at all? No. Okay. Can I ask you this? You have not asked me this. Have you been to the Caribbean at all? No. Okay, I've been to Cozumel on a cruise, actually the day before Hurricane Katrina. Oh, Mexico. Okay. From New Orleans. Oh, so you were on a cruise from, okay, and went into the Caribbean.
Starting point is 00:20:36 Because we were thinking about Bahamas for the baby moon, because it's like, Mexico is closer, it's an easy flight. I was like, wait a second. And then as you're saying this, I'm processing this, and I'm like, where is she going with this? And then I was like, oh wait, she means for just her and Luke. Yes. I forgot, because baby moons you don't take on...
Starting point is 00:20:56 No. I'm literally like, are you about to ask me if this is somewhere I want to go? And then I was like, oh wait, I forgot. Normal baby moon, gotcha. Yeah, I hate even saying baby moon, I was like, oh wait, I forgot, normal babymoon, gotcha. Yeah, I hate even saying babymoon, I feel like a cheese dick, but like the excuse to have a fucking vacation before we have a kid, exactly. And it won't be a party vacation for me,
Starting point is 00:21:15 which is a little disappointing, but still fine. So, Bahamas is like on our list that we're kind of working on right now, and neither of us have been there, so I'm like, that sounds fucking awesome. And the water's like so beautiful and crystal clear and all that stuff. It's just far. And I think the plan would be like four nights and Luke's like, we should go for like five or six nights because we're like losing a day,
Starting point is 00:21:38 traveling there and back. But I'm like, I don't want to go for a week. I don't want to go to the Bahamas for a week. Kristen, you don't even want to go to the grocery store down the street for four minutes. I have a delivery person for that. Yeah. I like Trader Joe's.
Starting point is 00:21:52 Yeah, but like you, I'm surprised Luke is down to go on a vacation while you're pregnant, if I'm being completely honest, because- He loves me. He loves you, but like, you don't even love vacation. So I'm like- I do love vacation. I like, all I've you don't even love vacation. So I'm like- I do love vacation. I like, all I've wanted this whole pregnancy is sunshine.
Starting point is 00:22:09 Like I'm so extremely sad about just the lack of sunshine. Like I live in California. I know it's winter, but there's no sunshine really. So any who we were thinking about baby moon, thinking about Bahamas. Then I was like, does it make sense to only go for four nights? It doesn't, cause it's so far.
Starting point is 00:22:26 Yeah. I don't know, that's one of those things where I'm like, the more the merrier, and you are the exact opposite. But like a whole week just sounds like a lot. The second you land, you're ready to come home. Like a whole week at a resort, it's just kind of like, eh, I don't know if that's... You're crazy. You are literally insane.
Starting point is 00:22:44 I'm giving her, if you guys could see my face right now, I'm literally like, this woman is crazy. She's absolutely crazy. Okay, but I do actually want to ask you something though, like for a favor. Will you take a cute photo of me for my passport? Because my passport has been expired. It'll be two years this June, so like a year and a half.
Starting point is 00:23:04 And I need to... But you haven't gone anywhere, so it doesn't really matter. But you have to get it. Yeah, you need it. Yeah. So I found this little like photo store, like this little mom and pop shop down the street, that does it. And I was like, oh, I could do that. But it's like DMV people.
Starting point is 00:23:20 I don't trust them to take a good photo of me. And then I was going to have Luke do it, because I can do it at home, and I have lighting, like a white background. I'm like, I don't trust Luke to take my photo, and you can't take selfie style. Yeah, I'll do it for you. Don't worry. We'll do the full, like, Kim or Chloe
Starting point is 00:23:36 when they went to the DMV, and it was like, I'll make sure that experiences work here. Well, that's how it was the first time I got a passport. It was on Vanderpump Rules. Wait, I'm sorry. It was on...'s how it was the first time I got a passport. It was on Vanderpump rules. It was, I'm sorry. It was on, yeah, it was 2013 and we had, I was 30 and we were going to Mexico and Tom Schwartz and I did not have a passport. So we got, we had to go take photos to get our first passports and Stasi styled
Starting point is 00:23:59 me. Oh my God. I love how did I not know this? This is hilarious. We went to this place called Sammy's Camera in West Hollywood, and we got our pictures taken there. Mine's really cute. I'm not gonna lie. I'm not gonna lie, my passport photo's really cute.
Starting point is 00:24:13 I'm like, can we just use that one? I know, I was so skinny and young. So skinny and young. Ugh, to be 30 again. Yeah, so I'm like, how do I compare to that? I just, and like, can I face tune it? Can I? Like, can I just like smooth it a little bit?
Starting point is 00:24:30 I don't think so, but we can try. Do you think they'll know? Yes, I think they'll know. Hey, if any of you guys like work for like a passport office, you just like send me a DM on Instagram and tell me how much can I get away with? Like if it's professionally photoshopped, do you think they would notice? Maybe not. Send me a DM on Instagram and tell me how much can I get away with? Exactly. Like, I don't know. If it's professionally Photoshopped, do you think they would notice?
Starting point is 00:24:48 Maybe not. Maybe if it's like naturally. Like in high res? Yeah. I'm dead serious right now too. I want to look cute. What else do I want to talk to you about? Oh, Traders is on tonight.
Starting point is 00:25:00 Traders has become one of my favorite shows. I'm so glad you made me watch it. It is a sleeper hit. Like I think, I mean, I think maybe other people knew about it. I feel like it became big over this past year. Like it got, or this season, but really it started season two where they decided to use only reality people
Starting point is 00:25:24 instead of half and half. Wait, what was season one? Season one was half just... Season one was Reza was on. That's when he got kicked off first. But it wasn't all reality people? If you do not want to hear Trader's spoilers for the next whatever, you might want to fast forward a little bit
Starting point is 00:25:40 because there will be some spoilers because it's already aired. Just for... Tonight? No, I'm saying season one, season two, if I say something, some spoilers because it's already aired. Just one. No, I'm saying season one, season two, if I say something, it's because it's already played. But I highly recommend going and watching it because it is, even if you know who wins or who whatever, it is so good.
Starting point is 00:25:56 Just for the storylines. Wait, but it was regular people? They had half regular people. And then it was like, it was Kate. From Below Deck? Below Deck. And then it was like, uh, it was Kate... From Below Deck? Below Deck. And then Reza. And just like, it was just so random, the people they chose. And then Ryan Lochte.
Starting point is 00:26:12 Like, out of... Yeah. Oh my God. That's really weird, though. I don't love that. But it doesn't work because then the people that are just regular people, and I hate to say regular people, people that have not been on TV. The people that aren not been on TV. The people that aren't like us. Oh my god, so I don't even want to tell this story. It's gonna get me in so much trouble. Now you have to.
Starting point is 00:26:31 I know. So on New Year's Eve when me and Tom Schwartz and Benji and our friends were coming back from San Diego, we took the train. And so there's like a line for business class and a line for regular class or whatever unclassed, normal. God, no, I know this is so bad. Like economy. Economy. Oh, that's the word. Pesadies. So we're standing in the business class line because by the way, let me just
Starting point is 00:26:59 preface this with business classes, like maybe 20, $30 more. There is really no difference that we even saw on the train. I want to make a quick emphasis with business classes like maybe 20, $30 more. There is really no difference that we even saw on the train. So I say this with like, there is not a difference really. But they let the economy class, the non-business class go first. And this girl came over and was like, is this the line for, I don't know what she said, maybe economy or something. And I was like, oh, no, no, the regular people went that way. And I immediately, the absolute embarrassment that came over my face, and then the people behind me started laughing.
Starting point is 00:27:36 You're like, we're celebrities. I was like, oh my God, this is so bad. I was like, that's not even what I meant. And of course she didn't care at all. You should have blamed it on Schwartz. That would have been even funnier. You're like, it my God, this is so bad. I was like, that's not even what I meant. And of course she didn't care at all. You should have blamed it on Schwartz. That would have been even funnier. You're like, it's what he called it.
Starting point is 00:27:49 Sorry, I've never been on this train before. The people behind me were just like snickering. I was like, oh my God. I wanted to like just roll up in a ball and die at that moment. That's hysterical. So Benji, every time something happens, he goes, oh, was it the regular people? And I'm like, that's it.
Starting point is 00:28:09 He's like, should I go in the regular line? I'm like, I'm going to kill you. I hate you right now. I'm never going to let it die either. You told the wrong person. I really shouldn't have said it. So back to the traitor regular people, AKA, if you're a regular person, what Zach means is you're not on trashy reality TV.
Starting point is 00:28:25 You happen to not be on TV and have a, you know, a real job in life. Oh God, I'm going to get in so much trouble for that. But I didn't mean it like that, obviously. But yeah, they had like people that had never been on TV before. And so I feel like it kind of skewed it because the people that had never been on TV before had, some of these people, they like had, they were like, oh my God, I'm your biggest I feel like it kind of skewed it because the people that had never been on TV before had... Some of these people, they were like, oh my God, I'm your biggest fan.
Starting point is 00:28:50 So, you know, when you have these people and then they are fans of the other people, I think that kind of clouds their judgment. And like, it just didn't work as well as it could have. Granted, it was still great. I don't love the idea of the mix in general. I didn't know that it was like that on Traders, but I watch, Luke and I watch Deal or No Deal Island, and it's all...
Starting point is 00:29:14 non-reality television cast members. Oh, look at you, not saying regular people. And then they sprinkle in like two or three reality TV people. And that works? I think it's bizarre. So like the first season of it that we watched, Boston Robb was on it, that's how I know who he is. Because I wasn't a survivor or a watcher.
Starting point is 00:29:34 I had never seen him until this season. Yeah, and he was amazing on it. And he developed a relationship, this special like friendship sort of with one of the guys, and that was like fun to watch. But it was just like, I don't know, there was like some sort of superiority. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:29:51 They didn't act that way. I'm not saying Boston Robb acted that way or any of the reality people. But to me, just as a regular old viewer, not as a reality person, but a regular person viewer, like I felt like they had like a leg up because they were, it was like confidence. Like they were so confident and they knew how to be on TV.
Starting point is 00:30:11 Cameras don't make them feel weird. They don't have to have a mic pack on no matter what they're doing. Like there's so many little intricacies of it. That you don't realize unless you've been on it. And I agree with that. So I think it's weird to mix personally. I'm just like not a fan of it. I think I agree with that though. I think it should be one way or the other. I agree with that. So I think it's weird to mix personally. I'm just like not a fan of it.
Starting point is 00:30:26 I think I agree with that though. I think it should be one way or the other. I agree. And then like the UK version, which Binge and I are now watching. Wait, there's a UK version? And an Australian version. What? The UK version is in the same castle.
Starting point is 00:30:38 In Scotland. But they do do the same, like it is the same everything. Like the same missions, the same whatever. Are they regular people or are they Bravo Liberty people? They're not, no, they are all people that have never been on TV before, but nobody's been on TV. And then the American version is everybody's been on TV,
Starting point is 00:31:01 which I do, when they changed that on season two, it did make a big difference, and I really think that that is amazing. Yes. I will say though, that it's kind of funny how, maybe season two it wasn't as bad, but season three, the divisions of the networks. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:23 Okay, that's what I thought it was. The divisions of the networks, like the CBS fandom going against the Bravo fandom, going against the MTV fandom, like the, or even though RuPaul's Drag Race is on MTV, it's like the RuPaul Drag Race fandom, seeing them and how they go after these people so viciously, it is so intense.
Starting point is 00:31:43 I feel like RuPaul is like its own network. It is. Well, I mean, it's funny because- I get that it's like on it, which I didn't know until today that it was even on TV. It's also the number one show on. So like when they wanna, like when the challenge people come back,
Starting point is 00:31:56 you know, back and forth, it's like, well, RuPaul's Drag Race is number one on your network, so. Yeah. But- Oh, the challenges on MTV, that's right. Challenges on MTV. Weird. I haven't watched't watched MTV y'all since like 2002 or something. So I don't even know.
Starting point is 00:32:11 I used to when I was a child growing up watching. Well, I was on TRL once. You were one time I waited. Oh, that was such a great memory. Waited in New York, got on. You see me in it. You have so many fun little quips that make you who you are. I know.
Starting point is 00:32:30 It all makes perfect sense. It really does. I'm just crazy. But with MTV, I was... New Orleans, season nine, I still can name the entire cast. My favorite being Melissa, who was only on a couple seasons of the challenge early on. She had a blog, loved it. Like I was obsessed with the real world and I wanted to be on the challenge more than anything in the world. Really?
Starting point is 00:32:54 It was like my ultimate goal in life was like, I will be on the challenge. I think that you're the most entertaining person I know, but you're, I don't think you're cutthroat enough. Now that I've met challenge people, like on The Goat, like, that's scurry. I mean, I guess tech's not like that, but like Davon... Well, yeah, because she's a competition showgirl. I would just... I would surrender. Like, if I had to go against Davon in anything like that level,
Starting point is 00:33:20 I would just be like, I... Yeah, I'm scared. You know, well, I will say that, that like back in the day, it was different. I feel like, you know, like people weren't, you know, thinking about game theory, weren't like, you know, going in with certain... It was just more like games and there was more games that were not based towards like strength or fear. Like, you didn't have to jump off a cliff or airplane and land on a, you know, I'm like moving a helicopter.
Starting point is 00:33:48 Right. I'm like, what are these things? Monkey bars on fire. Yeah, I'm like, OK, can we go back to like simple, fun, like games or like Red Rover, perhaps. Exactly. Like shit like that. That was because that's the way the challenge originally was. And that is the challenge that I fell in love with back in the day. Are there challenge people on Traders?
Starting point is 00:34:08 Yeah, Wes is on Traders and Wes is a challenge person. Was he only challenge or was he on something else before that? He might have been on not Big Brother. No, no, he would have been on either Real World or Road Rules. But I don't think he was on either. I think he just came into the challenge when they started that. Okay. Rock and roll. Yeah, because I'm getting to know this Traders cast. Like I obviously only know who I know. Oh my God, you know, it was so cute when we were watching it last
Starting point is 00:34:36 week. Luke saw Krishel, who we love dearly, and he goes, she's a housewife, right? And I was like, no, honey, she's not a housewife. He's like, well, she's the prettiest one. I'm like, yes, she's stunning. But he's like, I wasn't sure if she was a housewife because her face isn't that frozen. And I was like, no, cause she's an actress first and foremost who then started doing this reality show.
Starting point is 00:35:00 So I explained selling Sunset to him a little bit, blah, blah, blah. And he's like, huh, okay. So I just thought they were all housewives. He thought every female... Was a housewife. Like Gabby, Crichelle... I'm dead.
Starting point is 00:35:10 Nikki. Actually, I think maybe he knew Nikki wasn't because of rustling. And then all the housewives. He's just like, I thought they were all housewives. Bless your heart, bro. It's so funny. By the way, give it up for Bob the Drag Queen because he he came in there, killed it. Like, I really think Boss and Rob's fucking up some shit right now
Starting point is 00:35:30 that like he's playing the game to the way he would play it. And that is just like pure domination. I feel like Danielle's getting screwed. I think Danielle's not going to do well tonight though. Well, what really sucks is I was on Danielle's side until last week's episode when she then went after Carolyn for no reason. I'm like, this innocent poor baby... She did that, but she also put herself right in the hot seat
Starting point is 00:35:52 by, like, not giving herself a shield, or trying to. And then did it twice. And that was, I was like, -"Girl, what are you thinking?" -"Your fake crocodile tears aren't gonna help you now, honey." Yeah, this ain't... Whatever sympathy and whatever realness you had built before is gone. But you know what's so crazy is, had Boston Rob not come so hard for Bob,
Starting point is 00:36:12 which yeah, Bob said something, but it was such an offhanded comment. He came for Rob. Maybe, but he does love chaos. But I don't think he like directly came for Bob where there could have been something, but I think Rob was like... He just made like eyes on Rob, which Rob was like, alright honey, you want to play like that? Yeah, like he's like, it's over, I'm eviscerating you.
Starting point is 00:36:33 Totally. Which it's like, he's played so many times, of course he knows what he's gonna do, but I did feel like it was so abrupt to go after somebody, so fast, like a traitor so fast. And now Danielle is going after Boss and Rob, but then also Caroline, now Caroline's doing the same. I'm like, wow, these traitors are all going after each other and we all know who a traitor is. Like, I'm like, the traitors can't make it past episode, like five or six, in my opinion.
Starting point is 00:37:01 Yeah, cause I thought Sierra was gonna be kind of screwed for a little bit because her name was out there so much. But I'm like, now the traders are just all going to screw themselves and forget about everybody else. Luke also thought Sierra was a housewife. I was like, Luke, she's younger than us. She's not a housewife. Oh, kills me.
Starting point is 00:37:19 You and I both thought Tom Sandoval was not going to last. Oh, we thought he was going to be first out. We thought he was going to be first out. We thought he was going to be first out. Now just based on his reputation and like he he's just like kind of loud and like in the first episode he was just kind of like talking and like being annoying. And he's also like not. And then he has this bad reputation. And the bad reputation.
Starting point is 00:37:40 So yeah, we really thought that and Luke and I were talking about it last week, and I think that he's gonna last. Yeah, because he's like... Because he's kind of off the radar now. Well, here's the thing. So he's the Ryan... So I call it the Ryan Lochte position. Ryan was no offense. Boring?
Starting point is 00:37:58 No, there's nothing there. Gronkowski. Just absolute Gronk. Nothing there. Dumb as a box rocks. Just knows how to play a sport and just happy and in his own little universe. Season two, that spot was Kevin. Kevin from Bling Empire. Just absolutely nothing there.
Starting point is 00:38:13 I don't even know what a Bling Empire is. It's on Netflix. They're rich, right? Well, he wasn't. But he was just the hot model on it that was not as rich as the other people. That was like, actually had to work and do things. But you know, just nothing there again. And it's like, Tom Sandoval's filling that this season. What about Sam?
Starting point is 00:38:33 Oh, Sam is too though. Well, Sam more so than even- Yeah, Sam's not necessarily dumb. It's just like, you don't know if he has anything up there or not. And it's like, in the beginning we wondered, is it because he can't talk about Britney Spears that he doesn't have anything else to say? Because literally that's all he would talk about.
Starting point is 00:38:49 Or is he that kind of like dope-da-dope-dope-dope? Because Sandoval is not an idiot by any means. He's just, I don't know if he's trying to play. What I haven't figured out yet, is Sandoval trying to play super nice guy? Or is he really trying to be kinder so he's more careful, like, about what he says and when he says it? Because typically he more vomits. Yeah, but he's not even kind or not kind. He's just like... It's almost like he's not... He just doesn't know how to play the game or doesn't know.
Starting point is 00:39:20 And everything that he's ever said is so far from the truth. It's hilarious to me. So I think they just think he's... Him and Sam, they're just... They're there for now. They're gonna make it to whatever time until they're... They're gonna be pawns until they're... Until they're disposable. Disposable.
Starting point is 00:39:37 Yeah, that makes sense. Okay, I wanted to read this because this popped up in my Google Alerts because anything having to do with anyone I've ever been involved with. You have a Google Alert on? No, it's like my name somehow gets involved. Oh, okay. Did you have a Google Alert on your name? Just on my name. Me too. Obviously.
Starting point is 00:39:53 I used to have it on Vanderpump Rules many moons ago, like 10 years ago, but not anymore. So, anywho, Tom Sandwell, I guess, did an Instagram, like on an Instagram story after a video circulated online that showed him with the pit stains, like all the sweaty gray t-shirt we talked about that. It was so intense. And so this is what he said. Man, that video, I looked rough.
Starting point is 00:40:15 I also felt like shit. I mean, I had like over 24 hours of travel, including an eight hour layover, which made my immune system go to shit. And because of the domino problems, I'm sure you could tell my eye was swollen because I got a sty in my eye. And the stress and the weakened immune system caused canker sores, sore throat. Meanwhile, the airline had lost his luggage on the flight to Scotland, where the show was filmed. And he said, I was at the mercy of
Starting point is 00:40:40 the wardrobe department, which by the way, did a great job. He went on to recall that that day they gave him the thickest wool sweater he's ever worn. And man, that thing I was sweating my ass off. It's hot in there. And well, I'm only human. At least I can laugh about it now. So that's what he was saying about the sweat. Crichelle then went on Watch What Happens Live and said that Tom, she believes Tom was essentially detoxing
Starting point is 00:41:10 from all the sugar and the Coke that he drinks. Coca-Cola. Yeah, well, she didn't say Coca-Cola. I know, but we're gonna say Coca-Cola. Just, I'm word for wording it. I'll just come out right and say it. In my experience ever, Tom Sandoval does not do that drug. So I will stand by that
Starting point is 00:41:29 in all of the experience I've ever had. I'm not saying Tom doesn't like to party. I mean, he talks about other things that he partakes in recreationally. He's been public about that. But Luke and I said last week, I kind of feel like he was detoxing a little bit too. And I don't know if it's from like alcohol
Starting point is 00:41:43 or just like late nights and whatever, but he looked extremely pale and like gauntly in the beginning. And then all of a sudden, last week's episode, Luke was like, oh wow, he has color in his face. Like he looks healthier. Maybe he just bronzed himself. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:41:59 I think, here's my thing. So you're telling me, Thomas, that you actually- That's a hell of a story about like the 24 hour flight, the eight hour layover, losing your luggage. Okay, so wait, you're telling me that they, number one, didn't fly you business. Because I'm assuming it's in your contract that you're not flying 24 hours or however long in a non-business
Starting point is 00:42:27 capacity. And even if, let's just say, in the worst case scenario, if he was a regular person, just kidding. But if they did fly him economy, you know he's upgrading himself. Either way, he flew business. We're throwing it out there. Either way, he was on business. So you had a full lay down thing.
Starting point is 00:42:47 So anytime I've ever flown business, you usually are pretty, like, or, and knowing him, I know he knows how to fly. So you take Benadryl or you take whatever so that you match up the time zones, whatever it is. And then you wanna say that they lost your luggage, which has happened to me, it is. And then you want to say that they lost your luggage, which has happened to me. It is terrible.
Starting point is 00:43:07 But why you show up in a full kilt that I know, we know that you, that he would have done that. Like that is something so Tom Sandoval. On his first day, he had a kilt on. Full fitted kilt. So like maybe they fitted it for him. No, but also what did you and I discuss the first time I watched Traders this season was they were all in their photo shoot outfits.
Starting point is 00:43:31 Which is something like we did on The Goat. Exactly. When we shot The Goat, we did all of our photos, like, our cast photos, and, like, some little quick interview-y type things, and then we started filming the show in the same outfits. Right. How'd you get that? So I don't know if it was the same day though. I don't know. But either way, you're right. He had the fucking kilt.
Starting point is 00:43:49 But either way, he also had some... I highly doubt the wardrobe department had a kilt and Tom Sand of all sizes. And also... No. And then they gave you a wool sweater and that's what... Listen, it's almost so far fetched that it's true because who would even think to say that? But then at the same time, I'm like, what are you overcompensating for?
Starting point is 00:44:09 Yeah, why is there such a story just because you had a gray T-shirt and with sweat? Just say, oh, I just got done working out and I didn't think about it, or it was so hot in there, or... Yeah, I mean, like, if you ask Jax Taylor why he doesn't wear gray T-shirts, Jax will always say, like I learned this about men, because it never crossed my mind. And with James May, every time I would try to give Jax a t-shirt, he's like,
Starting point is 00:44:30 give me white or black, don't give me gray, I sweat. I was like, huh, never even thought about that. Men have armpit hair. Men tend to sweat more underneath their armpits. Oh, I mean, I only wear black because I sweat profusely all the time, even in like 72 degree weather. I'm actually sympathetic to it.
Starting point is 00:44:45 It's just what I'm not sympathetic to is that... It does seem like such a big story for sweaty things. And also if the wardrobe department gave you a really thick sweater, you couldn't ask them for a non-thick sweater? Like you have a wardrobe department. He was wearing a t-shirt in the... So why didn't you just wear the t-shirt to be given with? It's, you know.
Starting point is 00:45:06 It's very confusing. It's just, it'll never make sense. It's okay though. No, it really won't. Hey guys, so as you know, I've got a little butt in the oven this year, and that has totally shifted how I approach taking care of myself.
Starting point is 00:45:20 Being pregnant has me thinking about what I'm putting into my body, because it's not just for me, but for my baby too. That's why I've been leaning on Thrive Market to help me make healthier choices without all the guesswork. Here's the thing, over 10,000 chemicals are in the US food supply. 10,000! Meanwhile, the EU only allows 300. Wild, right? I don't have time to overanalyze every ingredient list and honestly, pregnancy brain doesn't help either. Thrive Market makes it so easy.
Starting point is 00:45:45 Every product they carry is 100% non-GMO and free from over 1,000 harmful ingredients, so I know I'm getting the best. One thing I've been loving on their site is their on-site filters. I've been focusing on adding more protein to my snacks since it helps keep my energy up, so I filtered by high protein options
Starting point is 00:46:02 and I found so many gems. One of my favorites, Simple Mill's Almond Flour Crackers. Yum! Plus they have organic, dye-free snacks that I can feel good about having on hand for the future when this little one arrives. And let's talk about convenience. Their Smart Cart feature is amazing. It basically builds a cart tailored to your needs and you can tweak it right before checkout. It's been a lifesaver because running to the store is so not my thing right now and everything just shows up at my door. So ready for a junk free start to 2025? Starting point is 00:46:34 that's thrivemarket.com slash doty. Thrivemarket.com slash doty. Sick of dreaming smaller? Sick of investing but not seeing your money grow? Sick of feeling like you're leaving money on the table, I would like to talk about something that Luke brought up today, and then I want to deserve. Get yours, Questrade. I would like to talk about something that Luke brought up today. And then I want to get to some viewer listener viewer questions. Viewer of the Valley. Some regular people questions. Yeah, Dick. Oh, God. But Luke and I were legit talking about this, and I'm kind of mad that I even mentioned it to you because I wanted to just be super like in the moment.
Starting point is 00:47:25 But like you and I have talked about this on The Valley, we've talked about this in the podcast before that we were like, if prior to me dating Luke and I wanted to have a baby, I'm like, oh, your genes would be so perfect. Like you could be my sperm donor, blah, blah, blah. So now that I'm pregnant, now that I'm half-baked, half-baked, now that I'm five, over five months pregnant.
Starting point is 00:47:46 The thought of not having a partner to yell at. Or to just like, to need to think, not just to yell at, I'm being facetious. She's not. She's not. She's not y'all. I am here. I'm extra needy. I could not imagine, like I think about my friend Meredith, who's going through it right now, who's choosing to be a solo mom.
Starting point is 00:48:09 And she does have her mom, like, in town with her, like, living there. So that's wonderful. But like, I just can't imagine not having, personally, not having my partner. Or someone here with me, like, fucking 24-7. Like, Luke wants to just go grab, like, a burger with his friend. I'm like, so how long so how long you gonna be on? How long do I have to be by myself? Yeah, that's specifically why I said...
Starting point is 00:48:30 And I'm crazy. I'm crazier than usual. Like it's really difficult. It's... Pregnancy is a lot harder than I thought it was gonna be. And it's... I've said this a million times on this podcast because I am so grateful that I have this little girl inside of me, but no one told me that it was going to be mentally and emotionally taxing. I think everybody's pregnancy is different. No, but when I read about this now where I tell my pregnant friends, they're like, oh
Starting point is 00:48:57 my God, me too. I'm on a group chat with Nia, my friend Meredith, my friend Courtney and her sister Brittany, and we're all pregnant at the same time, right? And the other day, one of the girls said, yesterday, the day before, is anyone else feeling extra emotional? I can't stop crying. And I was like, girl, like, preach to the choir. And it was like, oh my God, yeah, I cried three times today. Oh my God, my friend at work, she's, or my friend's so-and-so is pregnant and like said,
Starting point is 00:49:23 she's been crying for three days straight. And I'm like, okay, great, I'm not the only one, but I do feel super crazy. But anyway, thinking about not having Luke and then just having you as my best friend who doesn't live with me, who certainly isn't going to like be, be able to be here with me 24 seven, because you have a life, you have a boyfriend of your own. I think I would lose my fucking shit. I'd probably have to go back to Michigan. But I think, well, number one, Casey would probably love that. My sister, yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:51 Your sister and Amy, your best friend and your mom would love that for nine months or however many months, just go home and do that and then come back. But also, had I given you my sperm and turkey-based-ed you, then obviously I probably would have like moved. Like I'm a good person, like I'm not just gonna, you know... You wouldn't want to be around, like I don't know.
Starting point is 00:50:13 Or maybe you would be more sensitive or like I don't know. Number one, I would be more sensitive because I am in general. And I understand you better. No offense, Luke, if you're listening to me. Plus... I know. And Luke is very sensitive. He's getting even you better. No offense, Luke, if you're listening to this. Plus, I know... And Luke is very sensitive. He's getting even much better. As time has passed, like, you know, I have to remember, he's not in my body, he's not in my brain.
Starting point is 00:50:35 Like, he... And I also expect him to just know sometimes. Right, which is not fair to him either. But sometimes I can't put it into words. Sometimes I just need him to figure it out. Well, and I agree, and that's the thing is, like, luckily you have a partner who he gets it eventually, or like you guys do... He tries really hard.
Starting point is 00:50:55 But you guys get, you guys talk it through. Granted, yeah, it might be hard, but pregnancy is not easy, you know? It's the ups and downs and everything else. But I feel like, for me, I'm very specifically attuned to that type of, I was gonna say craziness behavior. I've dealt with it a thousand times on different levels and like, it would have had to be a situation where clearly I would have had to move in
Starting point is 00:51:20 and handle everything till the baby came. And then you could jump ship. Well then it would, I'm sure for a few months, just getting things going. And then I would maybe like slowly integrate out of the situation. What situation? Zach, my situation is Zach?
Starting point is 00:51:41 Yes, and I would say yes to you right to your face. And then I would make sure, see we would just fly Casey in, then whoever needs to be here, you know. We would just, actually it might work better because we would just dig the crazy to different people. Yeah, exactly. That's what you're saying.
Starting point is 00:51:58 I'm 100% saying that. But think about that, what if? I know. That is crazy. I can't imagine... Like, and I'm sure I'm just a bigger baby, or I don't know, but I cannot imagine not having Luke to deal with me every day. Like, he's getting ready to go to Colorado, and I'm like, I don't know for how long.
Starting point is 00:52:19 But yet at the same time, I'm like, you need to go to Colorado. I know you need to go, and he wants to go now, rather than third trimester when I'm a lot bigger and like physically having a difficult time doing things. But then he goes out for a burger for two hours and I'm like staring at his location, like, okay, so you're still eating a burger, huh? Crazy. I'm crazy. I feel like you, if you didn't have that, you wouldn't need it.
Starting point is 00:52:44 Yeah. I really do believe that. I mean, I'm also fine with just sleeping too at times. Sometimes I'm like, get the fuck out of the house because I just want to sleep and be alone and he deserves to get to do things and have a life just because I don't want to. I think the hardest thing for me that I think about with him
Starting point is 00:53:02 or if it were you is like, I can admit this, but I don't know how to admit this but I don't know how to switch it. I don't know how to get past my own stubbornness. Yeah you're very stubborn. Like so much worse right now. It's so much worse. It is like I don't want like when I'm mad and then I like I don't want to be mad anymore but I'm like I have to stay mad because I'm right and I'm so stuck in that and I'm like how do I just..., like the other day. I know I can snap myself out of it, but I really don't want to. Yeah, like the other day when I was like, Kristen, I was like, Kristen, it's okay.
Starting point is 00:53:31 No, he didn't mean it like that. Come on, let's go. And you were like, no, I'm going to bed. If you go on Reddit, you will read it. Thousands of women say, why do I hate my husband so much right now when all he's doing is being nice? But that's the thing is like, that's what all men need to understand is it's not you.
Starting point is 00:53:52 It's the hormones, the pregnancy, it's the little alien inside of you eating your body. No, you're right though. I probably wouldn't treat you like shit. I'd just lock you out of my room or something. Yeah, but also I don't do, I'm way more in tune with you. I know that sounds so bad.
Starting point is 00:54:09 Why is it? And my future husband. Well, because, I don't know. It's just, we're on the same wavelength of crazy. So like when you act a certain crazy, I get it. Yeah, exactly. And Luke doesn't at all. He doesn't.
Starting point is 00:54:23 He's getting better though. I will say, since the beginning to now, he's like. He's accepted my level of crazy. He doesn't. Like he's... He's getting better though. I will say since the beginning to now he's like... He's accepted my level of crazy. He loves me no matter what, but he does not understand it. Right. Nor will he ever. Probably not. No.
Starting point is 00:54:36 I don't know. I was just thinking about that. Okay. Let's get to some questions because people have some questions for you. I'm always scared with these because people can ask some crazy ass shit. Yeah. What male celebrity would you be okay? So let's pretend you're single. Would you be okay with getting set up with on a blind date?
Starting point is 00:54:53 Well, okay. So do they have to be gay? No, I don't think so. I think it's just because it's, I mean, and you're you have a boyfriend anyway. So like in, in fantasy world land, number one fantasy, like of anybody, the celebrity cra... I would say most of my 20s or whatever was always Channing Tatum. Ah, like most people. Ever since he came on the scene, I was like, I'm like, you. That one. And he's a good dancer.
Starting point is 00:55:16 Well, no, he's funny. He's funny and he's hot. That is a rare combo. And he's like, I feel like the same humor as me. And that matters. Can he be my crush again? I feel like mine haven't been good lately. Like my one out, I'm like, ugh. I'll put Channing Tatum back up there. Channing's always been like...
Starting point is 00:55:33 You're A number one. Yeah, he's always been top tier. Okay. Okay. Yeah. That's a really good answer. So many questions about how amazing I am and just like, what did he love the most about me? I'm not even joking either. And just like, what did he love the most about me? I'm not even joking either.
Starting point is 00:55:47 It really says, what do you love the most about Kristen? Well, I mean, you did ask on your part. The person wants to know what I really like in person. I think that's a great question. And it should be said over and over and over, because honestly, I feel like especially on our show, we are who we are on the show. Totally agree with you.
Starting point is 00:56:09 We are no different on the show than we were on off. It's so funny. I would say the same thing about you. People were like, what is he like? I'm like, that what you see is what you get. Like raw, unfiltered, funny, loud, like sweet, all the stuff. But absolutely. And it's like, and if you don't see that about Kristen, the nice, the whatever, it's because, you know,
Starting point is 00:56:31 maybe we didn't have enough time or whatever, but like literally same, I feel like you do get to see all those sides of us. And we are like the same. They should probably show me like nice more. That'd be really nice. No, but I feel like they do. My mommy era is coming up., but I feel like they do. My mommy era is coming up.
Starting point is 00:56:45 Well, I feel like they do. And anybody that sees it and really like looks at, knows that you're like a good person. Well, you guys don't worry. Like I'm still gonna be crazy in my mom era. Well, we're. Like I'm still gonna cut a bitch, you know what I mean? Just like.
Starting point is 00:57:00 With a baby. Yeah, like a dull spoon and a baby. We could not understand that. Yeah, well you just put the baby in the corner and then you handle business and then you come back to the baby. Yes. See, you do get me.
Starting point is 00:57:08 Okay, what is your, this is a good question, what is your favorite lounge outfit? Lounge outfit. I feel like you're wearing it now. I'm always in a hoodie, but like a comfortable hoodie. A black hoodie. Yeah, a black, like, but one that's like... That says something on it, like a statement. Not see-through.
Starting point is 00:57:23 Like very lightweight hoodie because I get hot very fast. And then yeah, I guess sweatpants too. If you're saying like what I do at home as lounging, I'm always naked. Oh yeah. But like your lounge outfit, like you don't mismatch. You don't wear just sweats. Like Brittany and I will wear just sweats, like whatever sometimes because I'm at home. You always have like an outfit of some sort.
Starting point is 00:57:48 Like, a lounge outfit, literally. You know, I'll take that as a compliment. It is a compliment. But I was like, I don't know if that's actually true. Zach, what are you going to be like as an uncle to the baby? You got this a lot. What are you going to be like? Is he going to be a good gunkle? Zach, are you going to be a good gunkle?
Starting point is 00:58:03 Um, number one, I am... You're an amazing gunkle. I'm a good gunkle? Zach, are you gonna be a good gunkle? Number one, I'm- You're an amazing gunkle. I'm an amazing gunkle. While I don't like all kids in the world, I'm actually great with kids, regardless of if I like them or not. But no, I'm just kidding. I really like kids and honestly,
Starting point is 00:58:18 I feel like especially with like any of my friends that have kids, then that kid becomes like your family. It's almost like having your own kid really. But yeah, I'm actually very good. And I'm a very good uncle. Okay, I got a good one for you. Are you ready? Oh God, no.
Starting point is 00:58:35 Fuck, Mary, kill. Oh Lord. Jax, Schwartz, Santa fall. I've had to answer the before, so you do too. Well, this is the easiest one that I could do because, well, obviously I'm killing Jax right away. Oh, that would make things so much easier if I could. I'm just kidding.
Starting point is 00:58:55 Because I have to fuck Sandoval and then duh, I'm marrying Schwartz. He's my best friend. Yeah. And like, it's so fun to be around him all the time. Yeah, he's actually like a joy. I wouldn't mind marrying him. Yeah. And like, it's so fun to be around him all the time. Yeah, he's actually like a joy. Yeah, he is. I wouldn't mind marrying him. Yeah, no, honestly same.
Starting point is 00:59:09 Like I would marry Schwartz and he could just go do whatever he wanted, like have relationships but like be my husband. No, exactly. Like if I didn't have Luke, obviously. It would literally be perfect. Oh my God, maybe you two should have had a kid. No, no.
Starting point is 00:59:23 My personality and Schwartz's personality, there's too many missing pieces. Actually, now that you say that, that would not work. No. Nope. There's like, there's not enough like even kill. I was already scared enough for our baby because we're so similar. Like what, what type of, which personality traits, but you and Schwartz, because it's opposite differences. The indecisive person that that child would become
Starting point is 00:59:46 would never make a decision in their lifetime. It would be interesting though. It would be interesting. Could you ever see yourself moving back to Kentucky? Moving back? No. Like Louisville is my everything. I love Louisville so much. It's where I grew up. I love everybody in Louisville. It's such a progressive city.
Starting point is 01:00:05 There's so many great things I could say about it. But it's still not where I need to be most of the time. Now, do I visit all the time? Do I miss it when I'm not there? Absolutely. And will I own a house there one day? Absolutely. But I don't want to specifically live there like 24 7.
Starting point is 01:00:26 I kind of want to be like where I can be. You have a place there. Yeah, I can go in whenever little condo or like a small something. Exactly. And my parents live there. And so and like, you know, my best friend's growing up in an apartment, but like kind of like that, like you own like a little condo apartment type of a thing. I mean, you can own apartments too. Okay. I don't know how that works.
Starting point is 01:00:49 You're like, that's for the regular people. I'm not like a realtor. No, I'm just kidding. Yeah, but no, I would never like officially like move back because I feel like I've built my life here. Tell us about your friendship with Britney before the Valley. Oh my God. Like, like growing up or like being not in LA.
Starting point is 01:01:11 Well, so Britney and I had met through. I don't think a lot of people know. Well, or if like they don't listen to podcast, I feel like it doesn't get really said ever on the show. Yeah. But like we've known each other since like when I graduated undergrad and I started dating her best friend at the show. But like, we've known each other since like, when I graduated undergrad, and I started dating her best friend at the time. And that's how I originally met her. And him and I broke up. But we all, like, I still stayed
Starting point is 01:01:34 friends with him, so I still stayed friends with her. And that's how our friendship grew. And then like, Kara and all of these other people that are in Brittany's life that are her friends from back home became my friends too. And then, yeah, we've just been really close ever since, but we met through a mutual friend that neither of us are friends with anymore.
Starting point is 01:01:56 You kept each other. But we kept each other and yeah, the rest is history. Okay, I have one more question that I also, this kind of tags on because you talked about undergrad and this one says, Zach, you have strong fungal energy, but people might be surprised to learn that you are highly educated slash have a master's degree. Tell us more about the Zach that we don't see. Or I guess a better way to say it is who they haven't seen yet. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:22 Well, no, I feel, you know what's really funny? Anytime that I say something really smart or that Benji doesn't think that I would know, and then I say it and he's like, wow, that's... I'm really like good for you for knowing. And I'm like, bitch. I'm so fucking sorry.
Starting point is 01:02:35 I'm so sorry. And he says this all the time to the point where I'm like, do you just think I'm stupid? I was like, you say this all the time. Like, you know I'm smart. You know I know things about the world, whatever. But I think it's funny because people see, because I am so fun-loving and my...
Starting point is 01:02:51 And pop culture knowledge and dancing and singing. And I like to dance and I dress like a 12-year-old. So I'm a dancing 12-year-old. You don't think a dancing 12-year-old at, you know, 30-plus is the genius of the group or has emotional intelligence or can see whatever. Unfortunately for me, that is what I kind of exude as far as what I look like or what you see me doing.
Starting point is 01:03:19 But yeah, like I'm definitely highly educated and very pop culture educated too. But I feel like, yeah, people... I don't know if people even get to see it this season really. Maybe more because I'm, you know, in it more or whatever. Because it's season two. I just think they get to know, they're going to get to know everybody more. Even including me, Jackson Brittany, you know. We, I would like to think that we have a new audience as well as an older audience.
Starting point is 01:03:45 You know what I mean? Like an audience that we had previously, that banner pump, but like, I feel like there's a lot of people that are new to our show that are getting to know all of us. So like as any show progresses, they're gonna get to know us all.
Starting point is 01:03:58 Yeah, I think also I'm one of those people that I'm very polarizing. It's hard, you either love me or you hate me because I am always me. And so it's either, some people I've seen like say like, oh, it's an actor, he tries too hard. I was like, this is, I've been like this every day of my life, it is not an act.
Starting point is 01:04:16 It is not. Yeah, unapologetically yourself and that's why I love you so much. It is very difficult for me as well as it is for you to interact with people who don't say what they mean and mean what they say. And then they act differently different times and then they stretch it up.
Starting point is 01:04:32 With different groups of people. It doesn't make sense to me. It just makes my blood boil, it makes my skin crawl. I feel the same way. Yeah, it's like love me for who I am. And if you don't, then like I'm not your cup of tea, then like move along. Move along. You sound boring. If I'm not your cup of tea then like move along. Move along. You sound boring.
Starting point is 01:04:45 If I'm not your vodka shot then I'm not your type of liquor. But yeah I hope I do hope that people get to see a little bit more of that because yeah I do have my undergrad I have my masters in business and like I also feel like your you know my emotional intelligence is also high like I'm very good at that and yeah I hope that this season they see a little bit more. like your, you know, my emotional intelligence is also high. Like I'm very good at that. And yeah, I hope that this season they see a little bit more of that. I think so. I think they will.
Starting point is 01:05:12 Well, I guess we'll all find out together because we don't even know anything. Well, I'm excited for you to be the uncle to my little bun in the oven. I can't wait until she's here. Me too. Oh, wait. Have we ever told people what if we had a baby name? Yeah. I don't know if we did. I still really love that name. Luke just fucking boycotted it hard.
Starting point is 01:05:34 Well, that's because he's a hater. I asked him if we could even just have like half of it. And he's like, absolutely not. Should we say it? Okay. So even if it's a boy or a girl. It had the same name. It's the same name.
Starting point is 01:05:47 The baby had the same name. It's Knox Lyric. Or Lyric Knox for a girl. Yeah, Knox Lyric. I think it's K-N-O-X. I loved it. Doty. Knox Lyric Doty. Yeah. I mean, it's hot.
Starting point is 01:06:02 It's fucking hot. It's so hot. Definitely sounds like a porn star, but definitely a hot porn star that's educated. Like a Nashville porn star. Big city. I love it. Texas. Well, and here's the thing. No one will ever take that Instagram handle, and that's the most important thing.
Starting point is 01:06:18 So do I have that Instagram handle? I don't think I sold that one. I don't think you. I have my baby's Instagram handle. Yeah, but I have the boy name that we were thinking of but didn't totally decide on. I have that Instagram handle. Yeah, just in case.
Starting point is 01:06:32 But I had to be creative because it was... Yeah, I had to be creative. Somehow, shit was taken. Of course. Anywho, okay, well, I love you so much. I'm so glad everyone's gonna get to know you more and more as time goes on because you are so loved and so much fun. Oh my God, thank you.
Starting point is 01:06:51 And so educated. And so educated. You're not like regular people. I was just... You're special. I hate this. Please don't make this a thing. Okay.
