We are on reunion part 2. Luke is in Indiana. I am here in LA. OK, let's just do the damn thing. All right, let's dive in. This was a doozy, guys. All I'm going to say is that when it got to,

sorry if you hear my papers rustling, but when Andy brought Ali and Joe on stage, and Joe was talking and that whole, however many minutes that little segment was, I had to freaking stop, rewind, pause, write things down, rewind again. I have my subtitles on as well as the subtitles that Bravo was like putting on our screen when Joe was whispering things. There was so much talking at the same time going on.

That took probably like far too long out of my day to have to make sense of that hot mess. And I know I'm jumping ahead, but thank God for Lala just being like, what the fuck are they talking about? Like, what the fuck is going on? I mean, it was definitely confusing. I guess I don't have it in me sometimes to try to figure some things out because some things just flat out won't make sense. It's like the whole discussion between Lala and Ariana, like what I don't understand. It's like, I don't know how many times Ariana has to repeat herself. Oh my God, I know.

She doesn't care if you understand, just respect it because Ariana didn't fully understand exactly what Lala was going through, but she respected the boundaries she set. Yeah, I totally agree. And Ariana, it was like she had to not only keep her cool in her composure, which she obviously did through both parts of these reunions we've seen, which I assume we're going to see that in part three as well. But Ariana, it's like she had to be like, velvet kid gloves, let me explain this to you like I'm your kindergarten teacher for the 17th time. But she kept her cool instead of being like, are you not hearing me, Lala? What the fuck?

I agree. Okay, let's just jump into it and we'll get to that blasphemy. So we pick up where we left off, Lala and Katie going at it. Lala is just set on the fact that Katie wasn't really herself because of some comments she made about a frustration maybe she had about Ariana not being around to help with something about her as much as she could have been. Okay. See, the very first sentence that occurred on this reunion part two was Lala saying,

and I quote, the same game we've been playing for eight years. That made my jaw drop. The way I'm taking it anyway, I'll just say, my interpretation of that statement was the same game we've been playing. Oh, but Katie, you're different in real life than you are on the show. What is the game you're playing? Katie's been on this fucking show since we shot the pilot in 2011, like 12 and a half years. So now this is a game. Like it just really rubbed me the wrong way that this is how this starts. And yet somehow Katie and Ariana still have to keep repeating over and over and over. Katie is exactly who Katie is. Katie is exactly the same. When

Katie feels something, she says it. If she thinks something, you see it on her face. I've been friends with Katie Maloney since 2009. And let me tell you, of course Katie has changed over the years, but is Katie different on camera air quotes than she is off? Absolutely fucking not. She's not a fake person. She doesn't have it in her. So I just, as Katie's friend, I took a lot of fucking offense to all these statements. Yeah, I'll say for my interactions with Katie, she's not somebody that's all bubbly and nice to everybody she just meets. She is not a bad or mean person, I will say, from getting to know her better. However, she is not going to be warm and nice to everybody, just like you see on the show.

She is not a person that puts on a face, puts something on. She is who she is 100% on the show and in real life. Yeah, and I'm not going to lie, even as we get older, I am learning a lot from Katie and watching Katie and seeing Katie in real life in her, I hate saying real life in the show, but you know what I mean. But just how Katie has made her circle smaller, how Katie is putting up boundaries,

how Ariana is now putting up boundaries. These are things I'm learning about because you guys, I feel like when I say this, all the listeners are going to be like, what? I'm a fucking people pleaser, just like Sheena is. I want to make sure everyone's okay. No one's feeling left out. Like there's not rude people, like things like that. And I'm learning to not make that my responsibility because everyone's

just fucking laughing right now. They're like, well, we watched the valley. Like, OK, well, I'm just saying I've learned a lot from Katie and Ariana about setting healthy boundaries for yourself, as well as my other women friends outside of the show. So I just think it's really fucking rich for anyone on that stage, especially Lala, to be claiming that Katie is not being truthful, that she's being fake or faux in any way. The whole conversation about, it was like Lala was trying to call Katie out for venting to her on the side as a friend and saying, oh, you're fake.

You told me you were upset about Ariana. Then clearly Katie can't fucking trust you. Just because she vented to you for one moment about having a feeling That moment that day that week. It doesn't mean she doesn't love Ariana It doesn't mean she doesn't respect Ariana doesn't mean she isn't one of our you know It's closest friends or business partners She just had a fucking moment where she wanted to vent exactly and also doesn't mean she has to bring that up to Ariana It's like you got off your chest. You got over it. No, we do

It's not something weighing on you day after day that you need to confront Ariana about it's like you got off your chest, you got over it. No big deal, it's not something weighing on you day after day that you need to confront Ariana about it. Guess what? It was a moment, she got over it, that's that, it's over. And what's wrong with that? What is wrong with that? That would literally be like if I called one of my very best friends and was like,

ugh, like Luke is just, I don't know, I'm getting on his nerves today, he's getting on mine. And the next day it was like, clearly they don't want to be together. Exactly. It's like that. Yeah, I think it's a great example. Or like Brittany, I'm watching The Valley back right now and there are a couple of things

I've seen Brittany say or do that have rubbed me the wrong way. I didn't like what I saw. Does that mean Brittany's not my friend anymore, my best friend? Does it mean I love her any less? No. It's something she said and felt at the time. It's not the end of the world. You can have, Katie and Ariana can have

this fucking conversation privately. And Lala, not everyone needs to blast their every thought and feeling just because you're judging everyone else's. Exactly, well, this might've been the only time because I don't know how close, I don't know the specifics. I don't know how close Lala is when they're not filming. Maybe she is. Maybe this is one of those little nuggets that she got and then something she held on to. It's like, oh, Katie's frustrated with Ariana and just kept ringing in the back of her head. It's like, this is going to come

up, they're going to have a conversation and it never did. And it's like, just because you made it a big deal in your mind doesn't mean it really was. Is all I'm saying. Oh, that's a much shorter way to put my long opinion. Thank you. You're a long rant. Yeah. Because my heart is invested. Okay, and just to like kind of nip this, right?

Why is everyone, AKA Schwartz and Lala, and you know I say this with love, I love Schwartz to death, but why are they trying to give meaning to what Katie said, but literally will not let Katie talk? I just felt like shorts and Lala were like yelling across the stage trying to be like, this is what Katie meant. This is what she thought. But like every time she tried to speak, they spoke a little bit louder. It's like you're not even you're basically talking about her right in front of her. It's like really fucking weird. It was weird. Yep. That's enough about that. I talk about the Max and Katie and the Schwartz and Raquel. Is that tit for tat?

No, Schwartz and Sheena. No, that was, I don't know, I kind of breezed over that. We already heard it. It was nothing new there. Like, yeah, that's true. They just kind of explained the timeline a little bit more. But what I thought was interesting, just so we don't skip by this, is that Andy then asked Sheena, has every guy here hit on you or like every guy on the show? And she said, yes. And I was surprised by that. I'm like, wait, what? And she brings up that she feels Sandoval was hitting on her way back in the day. She felt James was hitting on her way back in the day. I was like, huh. And then I'm sorry, I have, you know, I got to give a stand up all this shout out when he under his breath said,

I woke up with lock jaw and shit out a condom two weeks later. I was like, what the fuck did you just say? And I was crying laughing, legit. I was hysterical. It was funny. It was very good. But yeah, so we get to Katie and Max, that it could seem like a revenge fuck essentially, right?

I would lean that way, yes. I don't think so. Why? Because I do agree with Katie, I think, at that point in time, because this was not that long ago, you know, just last summer. Katie was like, I just did whatever the fuck I wanted to do. Right, but I'm telling you, Katie is a thinker, and I'm telling you there's not a chance that didn't go through her mind.

Maybe not be her sole reason of doing it. Maybe everything was going well, but it crossed her mind as she is fucking Schwartz's best friend when it was going on. I believe that 100%. She knew what she was doing. I'm not saying it was her sole motivation, but yes, she knew what she was doing.

But Schwartz ultimately doesn't care. What do you think about that? Like he thought it was funny. He smiled about it. He did true. He thought it was funny. He smiled about it. He did. And he said it leveled the playing field. This is where I like, ugh, the nostalgia in me once again.

I'm just like, look at their cute little banter. Not that I want them to be together. I think they're not in the same place in life by any means. I don't think Tom and Katie should get back together. But it just, when I see those little sparks of like cute jabs and poking fun at each other while everyone else is up in arms about what they really think, but Tom and Katie are like, whatever. I just think it's so endearing.

Yeah, it's kind of funny. I mean, ultimately, if we're really trying to compare the two, I agree with the overwhelming sentiment that Katie absolutely outdid Schwartz. I mean, we saw the video at Brock and Sheena's wedding. I mean, Schwartz and Raquel had a little more than a peck. It's already even called a make out. It was like an awkward kiss is all they really had. It was so awkward.

It was weird. That is not the same as having sex with your ex's best friend. Regardless, Schwartz doesn't care, so no one cares. It's all good. Luke, I don't know if you caught this because you've not seen obviously every season of Vanderpump Rules, but when Katie was prompted, if they had slept together more than once or hooked up more than once, she goes, I don't remember, which is such a fucking dig, two shorts. Every time he made out with someone behind Katie's back, when they were together, when

they were married, when they were engaged, whatever it was, he was like, I don't remember. So Katie's like, I don't remember. Yeah, that was good. Hey, drop the mic, bitch. Yeah, so good. Very subtle. A lot of people didn't catch that, but good catch, babe. Oh, hell yeah. I ride for my girls.

Okay, so now we're in Tahoe. We're talking about Tahoe. And Schwartz is, bless his damn heart, but Tom, stop being like, you have to be Sandoval's mouthpiece. Sandoval talks a lot. And Schwartz is like, I just wanna say this is not a Sandoval's mouthpiece. Sandoval talks a lot and Schwartz is like, I just want to say this is not a Sandoval redemption trip. That's not what it was. Okay. Okay. Well, people

are going to think what they think. Some people think that you were trying to shove Tom down their throat. Other people think that they don't. But you've now said this on repeat and no one cares. No one's believing you that doesn't already believe you. Do you know what I mean? Exactly. Yeah. And the whole sheet of struggle with not cutting a sand of all out. You know, I'm with it. Where I am in life, I'm sorry, I'm friends. I'm not gonna side with somebody. Babe, I'll side with you. But if one of my friends is like, hey, don't be friends with that person because this, that, and the other, I'm not gonna cut them off hard based on what someone said, whether or not I know it's true, if that action was not anything toward me. If they've always been

like accountable and that integrity with me, then I'm not sorry. They've been there for me. I'm not going to bail on them. That's how I work. Yeah. But Ariana then is very self-aware and she says that Sheena's feelings are valid, but she's just not the person for Sheena to come to which I Could not agree more. It's like this is how you feel. I've already told you that I love you I'm not gonna cut you out of my life Sheena because you've been my best friend for so long But please just stop coming to me about it as if my opinion is gonna change or you're gonna try to change my mind I think like you said she is a people people pleaser and she just wanted to let Ariana

know that like what was going on. She didn't want her to be out of the loop and to see something else like the picture with her arm around Sandoval and that one, she wanted to be like, okay, I got caught with my pants down there. I don't want that to happen again. I'm trying to be like a friend to Ariana to let her know that this is where I stand. Yeah, she's overthinking and over explaining, which I do as well. So I very much empathize with Sheena on that.

There is a quick moment where they bring up the Randall stuff and how it's in Lala's opinion, it's very different than what Ariana was going through with Sandoval, which they've been talking about this all fucking season long and even during Scandival. And Katie agrees, but she says like Ariana is allowed to have boundaries. So you're right, Luca. We're kind of like back in this vicious circle of like who has boundaries, respectfully so, et cetera. But I really did like when Ariana then compared it to Katie and Tom's divorce, which is not

something that has crossed my mind up until this moment. And she says, like, but Lala, you were there for Katie. Katie and Tom were living together. They were dating other people. They were still living under the same roof. Why am I any different? So I thought that that was really interesting. And I also thought it was interesting when they showed that unseen footage, plant shopping, where Ariana did acknowledge and apologize to Lala.

Look, I'll say something that might be controversial about this specifically. I think there might be some jealousy from Lala in this situation and how Ariana caught the golden spotlight with this thing that happened. And that there's some jealousy there as to why she was like wanting to force this to go away sooner or force her and Sandoval to be more cordial. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's kind of the way it seems to me that there's a little jealousy there. Yeah and sorry, this isn't a Lala hater thing because Lala has some really good points throughout this reunion, but when Ariana said, you talk louder than everybody, so you're right, I was like, damn, bitch, 100%. I felt that way.

Like you can't even try to make Lala at times feel for you because she just wants to like trump you with whatever she's doing or her thoughts about things. And I thought it was very well said. In still a kind way, you know? And then they talk a little bit about Dancing with the Stars, which I just, I don't understand why this is a conversation at all. Sorry. It's so boring. Other than the fact that Ariana did really well. Why is anyone even fighting or discussing who got

chosen to be on Dancing with the Stars? Like, come on. Okay. Now do your- Okay. Are you ready? Okay. like, huh? Like jaw dropped. And it was like, Brock considering starting to do like natal chart reading. That's funny. Hey, listen, I'm not hating. Maybe I'll start doing it for 200 bucks an hour. That's what I was going to say. And then it was just the Joe of it all. You guys, I can't, I can't. I'm like, what the flying fuck is going on right now? At first it seemed, I don't know, I hate saying the word normal, but it seemed like a normal conversation at first, like Andy's asking Joe questions, the cast is chiming in,

and then all of a sudden it's literally Joe and Tom Schwartz saying the complete opposite things at the same time as if they're understanding each other. Like it didn't make any sense. Did you notice this? Yeah, I did. And I have questions about this whole timeline deal because...

Because the timeline's bullshit. It is bullshit. There's no way. I mean, you got a picture from Katie about a toothbrush at Schwartz's place far more than four days later. Far more. Yeah. As well as other stuff hanging around at the apartment. I don't know all the specifics.

Also, Jo, in the reunion, she's like, well, it was during COVID. No, it wasn't during COVID. Sheena's like, no. And she's like, well, people still have COVID. People still have fucking COVID today. You were going to say sometime in the last four years to set your timeline straight. Also, God bless my best, prettiest, pettiest friend, Zacquicum, for sending me, amongst other people,

sending me this video of Jo doing someone's podcast, I believe. And it's the shortened version where she's now saying that I am the one who told her she should go stay with shorts because I had COVID simultaneously while going to a wedding. What in the bananas of all hell is she fucking talking about? Well, the way she said it too was like, you gave her permission to stay with Schwartz.

Like she didn't have to ask him or and at the same time, she also said, yeah, I'd seen him like once a year. No, Schwartz said he would see her two or three times a year whenever she was with me. That's what it was. Yeah, that's what it was. So let's go. Let's just go back real quick. June 29th, 2022. I text girl Jo, did you end up having COVID? You never told me. She said yes, we had COVID hence the quarantining. I was like, well, I wish you had told me I wouldn't have flown, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And then we're chatting. We're chatting. So that was June 29th. July 7th, we're still chatting. I believe Luke, that is the day or around the day that you met her, that you came in town

and the three of us had lunch. Right around that time, yeah. Then she stops talking to me roughly June 15th. I have multiple texts from like, hey, are you okay? I barely talked to you in over a week. I'm worried about you. Cut to July 20th, 2022. This is now three weeks after she had COVID. I had had it like right around there.

July 20th, 2022. I said, wait, wait, you live with Tom? I'm so confused. LOL. Kaylee, LOL, call me. Because this is when Katie Maloney, which I've said in past podcasts, called me from filming with shorts at his apartment and found girl things in the bathroom. She said, no, I don't live with Tom.

I'm staying there on and off until Friday for a space until my apartment is ready. I said, why didn't you tell me? But now the bitch is gonna say that I told her to go live with Schwartz, simultaneously had COVID and a wedding. I was already living in my apartment. She had come over to my apartment right when I got it

So there's some timeline clearing up for everyone. Yeah, I'll say also so it was within a day or two of Jack's birthday. So if we want to stamp that timeline, I'm at Jackson's birthday is July 11th Joe's birthday is July 9th So we yeah met Joe at your you're in your new apartment, right? The wedding was a month before that that that I believe she was referring to. Then we, you and I went to Denver to a show. Which is the wedding you and I met at. Right, and then end of June, we go to a concert at Red Rocks,

and that's where everyone but me got COVID. So, I think we're piecing these parts together to make more sense of it. Then after that, I come out once Kristen's kovat clears up That's when I meet Joe and she said she's getting the last things out of her apartment like that day She had to move out and within the next day or two. So, I mean, there's our timeline right there There's no funnel or four days came from and then I thought well She's saying she stayed with shorts for four days

But I didn't find out that she was staying with shorts until Katie called me when they were filming on July 20th. Yeah, I think that's what I just said, July 20th. So she is such a fucking liar. Stop bringing my name into this shit if you're not going to tell the truth. And even Lala says, how do you guys know each other? And Joe's response is through this group. And then Schwartz says, oh, she's Kristin Doty's best friend. Oh, Joe, now you're in the group.

Oh, are you? Like, get off fucking social Kristin Doty's best friend. Oh, Joe, now you're in the group. Oh, are you? Like get off fucking social media, go back to Wisconsin, take a breath, go wherever Raquel Rachel, your best friend went, I don't care, just stop talking about my friends and myself on podcasts. I'm fucking over it. And then she whispered to Sheena, oh, cause I was, I did his hair. He would text me and I would do his hair. We also know that's bullshit because she was texting Katie around the time of their divorce

being like, hey, can I get Tom's number? I just wanted to like do his hair. Can you ask him for me? Well, now she's been doing his hair for years and years. It's just- Yeah, there's a lot of non-truths there. I mean, at the same time, let's give some sentiment to Joe because there was some bread crumbing going on at least-

I agree. I agree with that at least as how it appeared. I agree with that. And Katie did step up and apologize. Katie did apologize as well for some of the nasty things she said. I think everybody that was watching this felt for Joe because of what was going on this season. There were some times that, you know, regardless of if she's making some of these details up or not, there was real feelings.

And she was to some degree let on there, you know? I agree. And I think Katie handled that whole conversation perfectly. And she was just like, look, Tom, you're being elusive. You were being a bit of a fuck boy. You were, like you said, Luke, with just bread crumbing. And I think that is correct as well. I just think what is continued on

since Tom has taken not only space, but now he's had to block her. It's like, girlfriend, let it go, let it go. I have to ask you, what did you make of her comment when- Aaron Rodgers? Well, Andy asked, would you ever, would you date anyone? Because you're not dating right now. And she goes, I date Aaron Rodgers.

Do you know him? It's like, oh, I thought you knew him. That's one of the first things you said to me, Joe. Yeah, I thought you were, you've been doing his hair forever. He flies you back to Wisconsin to do his hair. I remember being like blown away, like, holy shit, Chris. And like intro to Los Angeles for me, to Hollywood. Kristen's first friend is Aaron Rodgers' hairdresser,

and he's got the long hair. He supposedly, according to her, flies her in to do his hair Yeah, I don't know. It just was a really weird comment for me considering my minimal exposure to Joe and One of the first things she said was she does his hair so she should have his number, right? And that was like almost two years ago that she was saying those things just to you, right? I don't think it's really multiple people right I'm saying to you personally you did not hear it through me 100% it was just to me. Multiple people said that. Right. I'm saying to you personally, you did not hear it through me. 100%. It was said to me. Yes. What's also crazy is that I actually do know who does Aaron Rodgers' hair

because it's my friend Rihanna. And he actually does fly Rihanna and her wife Morgan. And they sit in his suite and she's been doing his hair for a long time. Yeah, there's some dog talk, but then Ali, Andy asks Ali, like, does she still feel the same about like marriage and kids? And she was like, yeah, I still feel the same. And then she says, this isn't like this is not the most inspiring group. Oh, shoot. No offense. I gotta agree with her as far as that goes. Then she backtracks and like, no, Sheena and Brock, they're great parents.

I 100% agree with that. 100% agree. But with the amount of breakups, divorces, scandals, everything together, it is not a group that lacks toxicity, we will say. I guess it threw me because she was then kind of said, well, I really want kids, but the marriage part wasn't as much as, from what I understood, it's not something she's really thought of

or ever wanted for herself. And then also said, if she were proposed to, she would say yes right away, but she would have a really long engagement. So it's like, you'd say yes, why? How would you feel if I said for the last, you know, year and a half, almost two years, you and I have been seeing each other, if I was like, well, you know, I'm not really like into the whole marriage thing, but like, if you propose, yeah, I guess I'll say yes. Like, what the fuck? Yeah, well, I mean, clearly I'm not James though, so you don't have to worry about that.

I'm just saying, if you had said that, I mean, you know my stance on it. I just think it's like a weird thing to say. It is a weird thing. We're in way different relationship than they do. So I don't think we can really compare apples to bananas here. Yeah, for sure. Should we skip to Anne? Yeah, skip to Anne. So the real star of VPR, Ariana, asked for some referrals. Anne wanted to work with Ariana. And the way Ariana explains it is like,

Anne was excited to work with Anne for women and she wanted something different. And it seems like Tom wasn't really upset about it at all the way I thought he had appeared to be, but now we know he was upset because it was on camera, which was interesting. Well, some things need the pressure of a camera to come out, it seems like, I don't know.

Maybe that's not the case, but it's the way it feels to me. Yeah. And then they bring up Maya, Ariana's dog, and that whole horrible debacle, I know is very difficult for Ariana. But Andy asks, what are the ground rules for the home that you share? And Tom replies with, well, the house has issues. There's this, there's that, ABCDEFG, right? And he had to go in there. They never really responded with the ground rules except for Ariana kept just saying,

which I know to be true, like the room, her bedroom was like her place. That to be like all by herself, she doesn't have to, you know, he's not allowed in there. Just like she wouldn't go in the guest room, which is where he was living, right? But I thought it was interesting that Tom said when that happened, he doesn't know if it was him or if it was Anne who left the door open. He said they went in there together and didn't know who was like, didn't shut it. Regardless, I see what you're saying. He's neglecting.

Yes, 100%. 100%. And Arianna just said, I wanted to be consulted. They are her pets. I completely agree with that. I think she's the one who takes care of them, pays for them, makes sure that they're fed, locked, taken to the vet on time. It's her dog.

I mean, obviously, Kitty's hers. Yeah, I agree. I would be very firm if I came into a relationship and say we're together and I go get a dog and I'm like, I want this dog. I bring it in and something goes wrong down the road. We break up. I know you will have some attachment to it, but I'm like, I got this dog, I wanted this dog, it's my dog. I know we've raised it together, but 100% there should not have been any discussion there. Those are Ariana's pets.

And I've gone through that with Carter and he was wonderful about my choice. Carter and I had a very chill breakup, but he wanted to see them for a bit and then we both moved on with our lives and they're my dogs. But if he ever called me for whatever reason, now Luke, you've met Carter, so it's probably different, but I'm just saying like he never fought me on that because they were my dogs and a fucking story. And then all of a sudden, this is how the episode ends. It's like, all of a sudden, James freaks out and he's like, eat a dick and Tom's like, you eat a dick. And that's like that end of the

And I think everyone wants to know what? Santa ball was holding back there what he has heard about James I think there are a number of rumors online and not just online There are things that have not come out potentially about James and you know, maybe they never will maybe they maybe they will come out I don't know, but I don't I'm just curious what he was trying where he was going with that yeah I am too and I don't think it's what we think because I think I would know about it I uh yeah I agree but I'm curious if it's in that world or if it's something like James like cheating on Ali or just like or god knows what you know no I think it I think it had to do with… Like Raquel, the lawsuit? No.

I don't know. I think it's something you may have heard from Raquel about James with the dog that is in more detail than, you know, he kind of defended himself being like, you know, he would just had problems. He was a… He didn't say it was just a puppy. He was learning. It was during training.

He said, well, there were issues and he doesn't have those issues anymore. Okay. Maybe he was a little more physical than necessary with a dog. I don't think so I don't know. I know I see your POV as to why that actually does sound like it could be What Tom is talking about like we're allegedly, you know But I think if that is I don't think that they will talk about it on part three because of the loss Oh, absolutely. And I don't think it's something that needs to be talked about. I just think that it's like, you know, hanging out in front of us, like, what was he about to say?

What is he keeping from us? And then the producers went, and we're gonna take a hiatus for season 12. And piss break, let's go. No, I just mean like, no, no, no filming this summer if this is where it's gonna go kind of a thing. Right, yep, agree. I don't know.
