Hey there podcast listeners, let's talk about something many of us can relate to,
the dreaded pre-period week. You know what I don't miss at all? That vicious week before the period.
Personally, during that time, I used to feel like I wanted to crawl out of my own skin.
And those cravings? Oh boy, I could have eaten my own hand off if it was rolled a batter and deep
fried. Plus, feeling a bit down or off was just part of the package. But guess what?
It doesn't have to be that way anymore.

What's up, babes?
Welcome back to another episode of Balancing Acts. What's up, babes?
Welcome back to another episode of Balancing Act.
Luke is still not in town.
And we have one of my favorite couples, two of my favorite people as our guests today.
So I'm just going to jump right into it.
Jasmine Good and Melissa Coralli.
What is up, my angels?
Hi.
Hello. We love you, Susan. What is up, my angels? Hi. Hello.
We love you, Susan.
Yes, thank you for having us here.
So I know we've been trying to do this for so long.
And we're not in LA right now, but it worked out.
So I'm really happy.
Me too.
I was just going to say, yes, just so everyone knows,
I've been stalking Jazz and Mel to do this podcast.
And everyone, all of our listeners,
are like, when are you going to have them on?
And obviously, we'll get into it pretty quickly,
but why isn't Melissa on season one of The Valley?
Well, I get that question all the time
and it's so annoying when I like see some of the comments
you were like, I wanna like respond,
but like, I don't know how,
I was like, maybe just stay tuned,
like we don't know what's gonna happen.
So I'm just like, everyone will see soon.
Oh yeah, I mean, I'm stoked we got you on. Like you just said,
it's been a while we've been trying to get you but I know
everybody has wants to know you better Jasmine. I mean, they're
calling you the valley whisperer.
I love it. The valley whisperer. Oh my god. I love it.
Honestly, it's so like, I mean, I guess we'll go into that
later. But it's just different not having your partner there when you're filming with all these couples. It's so like, I mean, I guess we'll go into that later, but it's just different not having your partner there
when you're filming with all these couples.
It's like, all you can do is just sit back
and watch everything just like burn in front of you, you know?
So it will be nice, hopefully, to have her.
Oh, I love the comment.
We weren't at the baby moon, right?
So, but I love the comment,
and this is the baby moon from hell.
I won't invite any of these motherfuckers
if I have a baby moon.
Guys, it was so, like, I was thinking, like, I was like, why are we here? This is the baby moon from hell. I won't invite any of these motherfuckers if I have a baby moon. Yeah.
It was so like, I was thinking like,
I was like, why are we here?
I was like, why are we on a baby moon?
Like this is supposed to be, you know,
comfy relaxing for her.
And then I'm sitting here like,
she's worried about you, Kristin and Zach not showing up.
Like, what about the people you have here already?
Because this is not fun.
Like it was not what I thought it was gonna be.
Well, I thought, I thought Kristin was the problem. I thought she was the only reason it was drama. That not what I thought it was gonna be. Well, I thought Kristen was the problem.
I thought she was the only reason it was drama.
That's what I thought everyone said.
When I was there, I kept thinking,
I was like, Kristen could be here right now,
and I think the boys are topping her right now,
because that's how dramatic and intense everything was.
And I was like, wait, actually, Kristen and Zach
would probably bring some fun to this right now.
We need that.
So yeah, but trust me, you didn't miss anything.
You didn't miss.
Well, and watching you, Jazz, like with Janet, like cooking everything and Michelle
just going, look, I don't know how to cook.
I'll pretend to slice mushrooms.
We know Brittany's a really good cook.
She's not feeling well.
She's super sick in bed.
Janet's pregnant, all stressed out, losing her fucking shit.
And you're like, cool, I'll cook for everyone.
If you guys don't follow Jasmine and Melissa on Instagram, you have to.
But it's what, and your TikTok, your TikTok together is amazing.
But Melissa and Jasmine are always posting food, like the most, and I don't even eat
meat, but I'm like, what is that?
It's this one.
Wait, I just want to add that Jazzy was texting me being like,
do you think this is done and sending pictures?
And being like, I need to cook right now.
Walk me through it.
I was like, OK, babe, you got this.
I was like, I need help right now.
These burgers, I swear the burgers were raw as hell.
And I don't know if Jazzy's eating it.
And I'm looking at it.
And I'm like, these burgers are not done.
But I was like, it was really rare.
But I was like, OK. And Jazzy's like, it's amazing. I'm like, you burgers are not done. But I was like, it was really rare. But I was like, okay.
And Jasmin's like, it's amazing.
I'm like, you're six-packer, it was not me.
That's all I'm gonna say.
That's what I remember when I first started
following y'all's TikTok and I would,
before I really got to know you super well,
Melissa, like back in the day,
and I would text Jasmin and I'm like, oh my God,
like, do you guys do this together?
Like, are you cooking for her?
By his first and she goes, oh girl, I do not cook.
That is all Melissa.
So to see Jasmine like slaving away in this kitchen
in Big Bear without you there, I was like, damn.
Exactly, I needed her there because she is such a good cook.
Like follow us on TikTok, get all the recipes.
She is the one.
And I wish she was there because I didn't know
what I was doing.
And I was like, she's the cook, not me.
Yes, you didn't, you were texting me stressed, but she has been learning how to cook.
Yes. I teach her tricks all the time. I made chili last night. She taught me how to make
chili. I'm trying. It's delicious. Yes. I love it.
Melissa, if I bring you some wild game this fall, will you whip up a meal for us?
I will try. What? I'm scared of wild game.
Really? Well, you never worked with it. Yeah, I never worked with it.
I feel like if I just do a little Google and figure out like what the steps are, I got
you.
Oh, so elk can be treated essentially the same as beef.
It's just like a lean version of beef.
Right.
Then I got that.
That's steak.
You got this.
Yeah.
Yeah, exactly.
I'll make a salad.
I'll make a salad.
Jas and I will bring the mimosas.
Let's start from the beginning. Yeah, because the fans
know Jasmine before they realized they even knew Jasmine. Jasmine, you've done more television
than any of us have. Guys, I'm just an entertainer over here.
Let's start from the beginning. Well, the beginning just where you grew up and then
let's dive into Dallas Cowboys
and the Bachelor Nation and get it all.
Okay. Oh, wow.
Well, we're both from New Jersey, born and raised here.
I started, I guess, my dance world.
I've always been in the entertainment
since I was little, dancing all my life.
But then I got really into it when I tried out for the Jets.
Did that for two years.
Then I ended up going to work for
Disney Cruise Line. Just like, you know, right after college. I'm like, you know what, let's go
travel the world. Why not? Did that. And you were a Disney princess?
Friends with the Disney princess. Yes. You know, in Disney, you're not supposed to say,
you know, keep the magic alive. Okay. Friends with Princess Tiana. So I had a great experience.
That sounds bad. A great experience with Princess Tiana, so I had a great experience with that. That sounds bad.
A great experience with Princess Tiana.
It's wild to me, and obviously I knew this, but it's wild to me and I don't know if the
fans of our show, the fans of Bravo or the listeners know, not only were you friends
with the Disney Princess, Ariana was friends with the Disney Princess, Nia was friends
with the Disney Princess.
Like, what the hell happens?
You do Disney and then you jump on over to Bravo.
It's just, I don't know.
Disney is just, it's the best job in the world.
And honestly, it changed my life.
And I wish I could do it forever because it was so fun.
But yeah, so I've started Disney.
And then after that, I wanted to continue dancing,
but I didn't want to go back to Jersey.
And my best friend was like,
let's go travel with the Cowboys,
the best team in the country. And I was like, I don't know.
I don't know if we can do that, but let's try it.
Why not?
Went out there, tried it, and we made it, which was like insane.
So we packed up and moved to Dallas.
And then after that, I was in a relationship at the time.
And I was like, you know what?
He's going to school out in California.
And I was like, you know what?
I want to still dance and we still trying to work out our relationships.
So I tried out for the Warriors, made that team.
I was like, oh my God, my life is just like, when I think about it, saying this is like
crazy.
It's some of the coolest shit I've ever heard.
I'm literally like, you had no fear auditioning for these things.
I didn't have any fear.
I just said, you know what?
I want to try it.
I'm going to do it if I don't make it.
And you just don't make it.
You just, you know,
cause the big ambitions are.
Literally, I just, I just love dancing so much.
And I love like performing that I needed like to keep going.
And I didn't think I was done yet.
So I needed that one year.
And the Warriors was that.
And then after that I was like done.
And I had just broke up with my ex.
And then I was going to move back to Jersey.
And then my best friend was like,
Hey, do you want to, I got asked to do the bachelor, but I can't do it. I'm going move back to Jersey. And then my best friend was like, hey, do you wanna, I got asked to do the Bachelor,
but I can't do it.
I'm gonna nominate you.
And I was like, what?
Nominate me?
I was like, sure, why not?
As if she's like boosting it up.
I never really watched it like that deep,
I knew about it, but she's like, you gotta do it.
Like you just have to make it to Paradise.
And I'm like, okay.
Got the call like two weeks before filming started
and then did the Bachelor.
Which season of Bachelor in Paradise were you? I remember your season, but it was pretty new.
Season four? Yeah. I think it was, yeah, I think it was season four. It was like, yeah, pretty new.
It was like right when they like started. Yes, I did that and then moved to LA because I just wanted
to like kind of feel out the vibe because all my friends on the show, they were moving to LA. And
I was like, you know what? let's all just move to freaking LA.
My uncle was there, he had a place for me to stay.
And then, yeah.
And that was like all before the age of 30.
Yes, literally, we were working at Star.
I think I was 30, I think I just turned 31 or 30.
It was like, yeah, before 30, isn't that crazy?
It's like you live this whole lifetime before your life even got started in a way.
Which is mind-blowing.
I've done so much.
You should write a book.
I said that.
I'm going to.
I actually started like kind of putting something-
You have like 10 different lives.
I literally think I've just done so much and I'm very grateful and thankful that I had
these experiences.
But everything really just works out how it's supposed to be.
I think about the pandemic being in LA, if the pandemic didn't happen, I probably wouldn't
be sitting with her right here.
Like just little things like how it all adds up.
Yeah, that's kind of how I end up in LA.
So I've got something to tag on to your Bachelor in Paradise time.
So Kristen showed me a clip.
I actually went to high school with a girl that was on the same season of Bachelor in Paradise with you and you guys kind of had beef.
Kristen? I think I knew Kristen.
Kristen Whitney.
Oh my God, Kristen. Oh my, you know what's crazy? I was thinking, I was like, dang, every
Kristen in my life I've had like some kind of like thing with, but then they were cool
again. Like me and Kristen, I love her now. Like we're friends. Like scallops, whatever
one calls her. We are cool now. And we're cool.
But I was like, yes, Kristen, Scali.
They call her scallops.
That's really, that was kind of mean.
I didn't make that up.
That was Alexis.
I didn't make that up.
I don't know.
Oh, I remember that season so well.
Why?
You went to school with her?
I went to high school with her.
We graduated the same year, yeah.
Oh my God.
Wow, see, small world.
Everyone's connected somehow.
It's so weird.
Yeah, that we run into each other in Los Angeles when I'm not even living there, dating another Kristen. I don't know, it, small world. Everyone's connected somehow. It's so weird. Yeah, that we run into each other in Los Angeles
when I'm not even living there, dating another Kristin.
It's just weird.
It's wild.
And then, Mel, you're from Jersey as well.
Something I did not know about you until today,
because I always spell your last name wrong.
I switched the Rs and the Ls.
So of course, I was like, Google them.
I said, two Rs, two Ls. Yeah, it happens all the time.
And now I get what the number three is in your Instagram handle.
I did not know that you played College Lacrosse.
Yes, I did.
D1.
Yeah, we were division-making.
She was really good.
Come on.
Yeah.
She downplays it.
I'm like, no, you are amazing.
We were like top 15 in the country, conference winners.
Like we were a big deal. That's amazing. Did you play in high school? We were like top 15 in the country, conference winners.
We were a big deal.
That's amazing.
Did you play in high school?
In my high school, we did not have lacrosse.
So this is like a whole new world.
I know, yeah, lacrosse has been growing.
Yeah, I grew up playing basketball,
like AAU and very competitive.
But once I hit high school, my brother and my dad were like,
you need to try lacrosse as a sport.
You're like too fast to be playing anything else. And then in like two years I got recruited.
So it's pretty crazy.
This world's badass. I'm telling you anything she does, you just like, it amaze me. I'm
not even joking. I'm not trying to say that because I'm my girlfriend, but dead ass.
That's why I'm competitive. I'm very competitive.
Oh yeah. I feel that. Yeah. I played competitive sports up till I was 23, roughly.
And yeah, I still miss it.
I bet you miss it.
Oh, yeah.
It's like a big change.
You go from being so disciplined and devoting everything to it, and then all of a sudden
you have the freedom to not work out and not do all these things.
But yeah, I miss being competitive.
We're trying to join some form of a team. I don't know, kickball or something like that. yeah, I miss being competitive. We're trying to join like some form of a team.
I don't know, kickball or something like that.
So we should start one.
That was so fun.
100%.
I'm totally down.
Kristen, you down?
Absolutely.
This is it right here.
So fun.
The start of a kickball league.
I wanted to do that last summer.
I was like, can we do like a adult game thing day?
Like I think that would be so fun.
Like bowling. Kick bowling, softball.
Yep. Softball, down. Anything.
Okay. So she is going to kill me for saying this, but my girlfriend was just telling me
that she and her husband have been getting it on lately. Like she can't keep her hands off him.
And I just looked at her like, oh my God, how?
She used to tell me that she was never in the mood.
But then she told me that her doctor prescribed Adi,
the only FDA approved pill clinically proven
to boost libido in certain premenopausal women
bothered by low sex drive.
She said her doctor referred to Adi as the little pink pill.
If you wanna have what she's trying,
because I know I do, ask your doctor about Addy

So before we talk about why Melissa maybe didn't want to do this season, I just want
to talk a little bit more about the two of you because as I introduced you, truly you
are literally one of my favorite couples.
Oh, you're so cute.
You guys are so adorable around each other.
Melissa, it's like she grounds Jasmine, but Jasmine, you're not.
It's like interesting with you two because I see a lot of when I compare it to my own
relationship with Luke, I see a lot of Melissa in Luke and vice versa.
She's very logical, less emotional,
but Jaz, you're also, you're not like the me.
You're not like this freak out, you know,
crazy person either.
It's like you both really meet each other in the middle
because you also are very logical and really smart.
And I just think, yeah,
it's like you two are like the best of friends.
You compliment each other so well.
You lift each other up. And as women, what I love about you guys, as my friends, I feel like you're
always rooting for other women to end people to be like the best versions of themselves.
Like I know that if I'm inviting you to like my James May thing, or if we're just talking about,
you know, something someone succeeded on, you two are always the ones like, you're never jealous, you're not resentful.
You're just like, yes, be better, do better, awesome.
We wanna celebrate you.
And I think that's really something to be said
as like friends, you know?
I agree.
And like seeing, there was a part in the episode
where you talked about that when you,
I think you guys had a conversation,
but I think, I don't know what episode it was.
Like Luke was sitting you down, like, you know,
talking to you, like how a real relationship would be like, hey,
like giving his side, how he feels on things.
And I was like, that is so Melissa,
because that's something she does to me.
Like, okay, you need to realize what you did was this,
but you know, but then at the party had her back.
And that's what I tell him, like, yeah,
you better have my back no matter what.
Yep. But you know, like that's what I loved,
like seeing how you guys had that conversation. And like, you know, it was, you can tell it was like
a real raw authentic conversation and relationships.
You need to see that.
And I think that's where the similarities come from.
Like Melissa does that to me.
So.
That's a huge similarity.
Me and Luke are the same.
And like, I will defend you in public always,
but I'm not gonna like sugar coat things in private.
I'm gonna tell you where you're thinking of things
the wrong way and like, you know, question your logic and it's healthy to have that type of debate.
So I really appreciate that. And I think Luke, you've done a great job. Yeah. Having those
conversations, but I don't know. I don't know. I think there's a lot of similarities between both
of our relationships. And I, and I, I love you guys so much and you both have been the most loving,
welcoming, nice people ever. So I really appreciate
that.
I agree.
Even though you only came on the Valley like two times this season, you were one of my
favorite cast members, Mel.
Love it. Just like, yay.
I remember looking, making eye contact with you, Melissa, at the Capri dinner and being
like, you were shaking your head and I'm like, fuck this, I'm out of here.
I'm either gonna beat Jesse's face into the floor
or I'm gonna leave.
And you were just sitting there shaking your head,
didn't say a word and I'm like, I feel you.
Yep.
Oh my God.
You had to duck out a little bit on that.
I know.
Let's talk about like your love story.
Like how, obviously you're both from Jersey,
but just kind of like,
even though there's a million questions from the listeners, but that way you can kind of like wrap
it up into- I know we need to put a video on our TikTok and we haven't done it yet, but I mean,
our stories, they're just kind of similar. Yeah. It is the same story. But like you-
I'll tell it. I'll tell it. I'll tell it. So Jasmine and I are from the same town, same high But your point of view was a little different than mine.
So Jasmine and I are from the same town, same high school, but we were a couple of years
apart so we didn't go at the same time.
One of my friends was one of her friend's sisters.
So yeah, friend, friend, sisters.
And we had kind of collided at points, but not really.
And I don't even know what year was.
Because you were just so much younger than us.
Yeah, I was younger.
I mean, not that so much younger, but like at the time younger the younger was like a lot
Yeah, but we were it would I guess I was it
For it's like 17 17 around yes like 16 17
I we it was Thanksgiving weekend Thanksgiving Eve, you know, what is that called?
Everyone goes home.
Black Wednesday.
Yeah.
Black Out Wednesday.
Everybody's home from town.
You see everybody, you're like,
I kind of want to avoid everybody, but you see them.
And our two friends were at the same bar
and they invited both of us.
And like, we-
I was sitting in the bar.
I remember this moment.
I'll never forget it.
Cause I was sitting with my friend at a table,
and she's like, my sister's coming with Melissa,
Melissa's girlfriend or whatever.
And she walks in, and I'm just like,
and she's like, there she is.
And I'm like, I look at her, and I'm like,
you're wearing a white shirt.
I still remember the white shirt.
Yeah, you do.
I was like, oh my god.
She's so freaking beautiful.
I was like, and I look at my friend Tiffy,
and he's like, you have to tell me everything about her.
I was like, OK, tell me everything,
like what's going on. And she's like, oh, she's in a relationship. And I'm like my friend Tiffany was like you have to tell me everything about her I was like, okay, tell me everything like what's going on and she's like, oh, she's in a relationship and I'm like, of course
I'm like, all right
Fine. So we're just all talking at the table hitting it off and like we're kind of like flirting
I could feel the vibe but her girlfriend's there, but you know, she was very respectful
She didn't like do anything, you know, but it was just you can just feel that energy when you're talking to son
Yeah, and so I ended up leaving and I think you follow me outside.
Yeah. Okay. Let me tell this part. You did follow me outside.
Okay. She left and my friend, the sister of Tiffany, Ashley was like, you should probably just,
I was like looking at her like, I don't know, I feel like she was cool. Like I don't want to
just like lose contact. So I followed her outside. Yes, I did. And I was like, Hi, like, can I have your Instagram? This is back when
like Instagram was just getting like started. I didn't ask her
her phone number trying to be respectful. She gave me her
Instagram and I'm gonna tell this part because you're gonna
embarrassed by it. I knew she was following me outside. I was
like, yes, no. So she gave me her she gives me her Instagram.
And I was like, that was really nice meeting you blah blah. And
then she goes like this and grabs my shirt
and tries to pull me in and give me a kiss.
And I was like, I can't, I'm in a relationship.
Yeah, and I've never felt so like played in like,
yeah, like, you know, I went for it and I got shut down.
I was like, I ran away.
I was like, oh, my Uber's here.
And I like ran to get in the car.
It was so embarrassing.
But like in hindsight,
now that you guys have been together so long, aren't you like, that's
right.
Because my girl was loyal.
She was loyal to her.
Therefore, she's going to be loyal to me.
She was very loyal.
But the fact that she followed me outside, I knew it.
I was like, and then we kept in contact for years.
Yeah.
And then we kept contact for like four years, just like flirting.
And then finally the pandemic happened.
And then she was like, Hey, I'm coming out to LA.
The stars aligned and it was time to time.
I was like, well, you wanna go on a date?
And then she never left.
Yeah.
Yay.
That is true.
And that's really like kind of how it happened.
And literally it was, I swear it was meant to be.
And I always say this story, she thinks is,
I don't know if you believe me when I say this,
but years ago I had put like a year or two before her,
she came out here, I put like in my diary,
like writing and manifesting like things
that I wanted in a person.
I just said, in a partner, I didn't say male or female,
cause you know, I meant to both.
And I was like, just this in a partner,
I want all these characters.
It was like somebody like dark.
I was like naming every little thing,
a cooks for me every night and all these little things.
And then now I get this woman, I'm like, holy crap,
she literally cooks for me every night.
It was like little things, just like check in the this woman, I'm like, holy crap, she literally cooks for me every night. It was like little things just like check in the boxes.
And I was like, this is wild.
Have you seen Practical Magic with Sandra Bullock?
Yes.
It's like you were writing like your thing.
You're like one blue eye, one green,
can flip pancakes made like a cactus.
Like you were doing all of that and here she comes,
but without the dead guy spirit. Exactly.
Not the dead guy.
I was like somebody from my home, like someone from East Coast.
It was like very detailed.
So yeah.
My heart.
Awesome story.
Kristen's usually the one that gets this, but I just got goosebumps like all over my
body because it does seem like...
It's like felt like divine intervention.
Like you guys were meant to be together.
That way that story played out to me.
It's so weird when I think about it. Can I tell you guys one more crazy thing?
Of course. Absolutely.
Because it's very relevant to this. We joke like, oh, we were written in the stars, the universe
conspired, whatever. But literally yesterday or two days ago, Jasmine went to her parents' house to
clean out some of her old stuff. She found her 2014, I think, or something around like around then like years ago, her Dallas
Cowboys, I didn't know her calendar. And like each day of
the year has like a different Cowboys cheerleader and she just
happened to be the cheerleader on my birthday.
I'm gonna do a video on it. I'll show it. Yeah, like 365 days in
a year.
Haven't seen it in years. I just found it in my old home a couple days ago.
And I was like, that's kind of wild. Little things. Little light things. So yeah. Yeah.
What are the chances? I know. I know. It's crazy, right? Timing is crazy and how things just work
out. Slim to none. Now I'm not usually wanting to go here, but like, what are your guys' signs?
I'm an Aries. This is where your signs don't go. Yeah, I'm an Aries. I'm a Cancer. But in our chart, it makes sense because you have Gemini in your chart.
I have Gemini in my chart. Yeah. Like our other signs. Wait, Luke, do you know a lot about signs?
No. It's one of those relevant questions I feel like sometimes. So. Because Aries don't go together.
But then I think about my parents. My mom's a Gemini and Burgos don't go together and they've been married for 42 years. So it's like, I don't know how much,
I think it just, I don't know. Yeah. Maybe Ali Valley can do your birth charts.
We actually did talk to her a little bit about that. She was like, really?
Yeah. Yeah. When we saw our stagecoach, she was like, oh, okay. I didn't see that. But
see the signs. We're defying the odds. That's all that matters.
So something else I want to talk about, I believe Melissa, you told me at one point
you have a connection to the Jersey Shore cast. Is that right?
I don't have a personal connection to them, but growing up when like Jersey Shore was
like very big, every time we would go down the shore, they'd be there. And we would always
see them and like they'd be walking the boardwalk and we like, Oh, hi. But hey, Stookie. I wish
I had a connection.
You look like the real life Jersey Shore.
Well, you look like your aunts and uncles.
Real life Jersey Shore. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I used to grow up going down there.
Crabbing. It's actually funny. Memorial Day weekend, Jasmine and I want to
go crabbing this weekend.
I'm jealous. I'm so jealous.
What the hell does that mean?
You haven't been crabbing?
No.
Kristin's vegetarian. I've been crabbing. Crabbing is a blast.
I'm like, there's a lot of other thoughts coming to my mind that are definitely not
it. But now I'm like, what in the hell is crabbing? So you're like catching crabs, like in the bay or in the ocean or something?
Yes, not in your boobs.
Right.
I didn't think that's why they were going with it.
But wait, so do you like, like, will you just grab it with your hands or what?
No, we have like a cage thing.
You like drop it in the water and it just kind of like.
Have you ever done it with like a chicken leg on a string and you bring them in and net them?
Yeah, exactly. That's how I learned.
See Chris and me too. You see, I haven't done it yet. I'm just going for the ride because
I love that.
We like that because we like being outside. I want to be by the lake. I want to be by
the water.
Same. Very much so. But the chicken leg is like a little too Jurassic Park for me.
I know, right?
I was like a chicken leg.
I was like, I thought you were thinking of a worm or something.
Sometimes you do chicken necks or other parts that are super cheap to something with some
chicken meat on them.
Thanks for the clarification.
I really appreciate that.
In case you didn't have the right visual, Kristin, I just wanted to make sure you had
it.
A little bit.
I love you guys.
Oh my God, I'm crying to make sure you had it. A little bit. I love you guys.
Oh man. So from growing up or being around Jersey Shore, which is, was the hottest reality TV show at the time, right? And now I know that we actually
have a couple of producers that have worked with Jersey Shore way back then
that now are working with the Valley. I think that's pretty cool.
Yeah, I think that's pretty cool. Like to know that that's like one of the like
me and Keith talked about that.
We're like, this is the biggest show
like that was at the time.
And now we have to keep working on our
show, which is I think the biggest show
now at this time.
But it's a kind of cool word to know
that we're kind of like a part of it.
And then, God, we'll just keep
on this reality train for a hot minute
if we can.
So when we started filming season one of The Valley,
I did not know why Melissa wasn't filming with us.
I could only assume this is just not for her,
which it's kind of not.
And I'm like, maybe she, you know,
Jasmine's got this on her own,
and maybe Melissa will come around like a few times,
but maybe she'll get used to it
and want to come on season two.
And then I find out you had already been cast
for a Netflix show.
Yep.
Yeah, girl.
Which was so fucking cool.
Luke and I were obsessed with that show.
Player 361.
361?
Well, we didn't think like, you know how,
when we got asked to do The Valley
and everything was happening
and then they stopped for a while,
it was like this long break. So we were like, just live your life.
We didn't know if it was even going to happen. So she got offered that. And I was like, honestly,
this is really cool. And she loves, that's her thing. Like I can never do that.
Plus you had potential to make a lot more money a lot faster.
I really believed in her. I was like, you really could win. Like, you made it far. You could go out.
You made it to the top 60.
So that's it.
Yeah, you really did.
Yeah, one in 60 chance of 4.56 million.
That's like better than the lottery you'll ever play.
Yeah, totally.
It's literally better than anything I could ever imagine as far as the odds are concerned.
When we were watching it, I kept telling Kris and I'm like, she's going to make it far
because we've barely seen her.
We see people a lot right before
they get, you know, they're not showing the winner yet. You know, exactly. They
haven't highlighted Melissa yet. She's gonna keep going. She's gonna keep going.
Hopefully she wins. I feel about the Bachelor too. Whenever I'm watching
Bachelor, like any of the Bachelor, Bachelorette, Bachelor Nation,
especially not really VIP. But once they're like introducing people,
you kind of get to know everyone the first two episodes
and then whoever ends up at the end,
they kind of like disappear for a little bit.
So I'm like, it's none of these bitches right here.
It's gonna be someone a little under the radar.
She's making it far, but yeah, it just,
I mean, I'm glad she did it though.
That's like the largest reality show in history.
456 people, like it's already a fight.
And I went into it knowing that I was like,
I just want this experience.
I'm gonna try to go as far as I can.
I'm competitive.
And then once I got like closer, I was like, oh crap.
Like, like this might actually have potential.
That's when you get more invested, but it's okay.
Can you talk about like, I don't know what you're allowed
to say per Netflix,
but like where did, where you guys shot it?
Like what was that whole experience like being like
in those bunkers and I don't know, it's so many people.
I cannot even imagine Fathom what that would be like
to film something like that or live it.
Yeah, I didn't really know what to expect either.
We filmed in London and yeah,
the bunkers we stayed in were like this huge warehouse
with a, like the set was like very well done.
It was kind of crazy to like walk in
and see five levels of beds and be like,
oh my God, like this is just like the show.
Like we're really like experiencing this.
I didn't expect it to be like that.
I was like, you know, they're gonna do the best they can,
but they did a phenomenal job with the set.
So that's really where you slept. That was not just like a set for us to see like that. I was like, you know, they're going to do the best they can, but they did a phenomenal job with the set. So that's really where you slept. That was not just like a set for us to
see on TV. Yes, swear to God. We're sleeping with all the strangers. You have people snoring. You'd
be like, who was snoring last night? I don't know. And then every time people would get eliminated,
the beds would kind of shuffle similar as the show and you'd have to find a new spot to sleep. So
you'd end up like with new people around you and blah, blah.
What were you allowed to bring? Like, were you allowed to have your phone at all or just
like not during the day?
Oh, no, no, I didn't have a phone for like two and a half weeks. We didn't talk for like
two and a half weeks.
We talked after you got your number.
She didn't even know if I was like, like what was happening. Like it was just like cold
Turkey you give your phone in and then after you're eliminated, you have a couple of days before you even get your phone
again, so I had no contact with the world.
We had no clue what time it was.
We can bring anything in, right?
Nothing, we can bring nothing.
You couldn't even bring chapstick.
So girls can have eye makeup, like nothing.
Yep.
She had to take out like her, some of her earrings.
I had to take out all my earrings, no chapstick,
no brushes.
I was about to ask you, you're allowed to have like AirPods,
but then you can't have your phone,
so you just have to listen to people snore. You can't even listen to music.
Yep. You got a fanny pack with a toothbrush, a hairbrush, toothpaste. That's pretty much it.
And a water bottle.
And the toothbrush was like very flimsy. I saw it. She was like, this is not.
It was pretty, it was like, I was just going to say it's like a jail toothbrush. So you can't even
We called it squid block. We'd be like, we like around squid block right now. Jen Puffins squid block. We made like um she told me that
you guys made like out of the underwear they had like extra oh yeah like games out of yeah
we had like uh we wore the same outfit for days but they gave us like new underwear and
socks every time we showered you got a new pair oh that's nice underwear make a ball
and like play games with the underwear ball.
You lost like 10 pounds.
Yeah.
I lost like eight or nine pounds.
Cause all you were eating was.
Yeah.
Yeah.
What do you eat?
Jail food.
Well, you get three meals a day.
The morning was like oatmeal with no salt, pepper, sugar.
You don't put salt and pepper on oatmeal, but like no flavoring.
And then the meals were usually like a piece of boiled chicken and a boiled potato.
So it's really what they talk about that. They weren't like saying this for TV and then going, all right, guys, craft services. You have 35 minutes.
No, you're going to work for this four million dollars.
No, no, absolutely nothing. I'm pretty sure there are people who dropped out solely because of the food. They couldn't handle it anymore.
They were like, I can't do this. I'm starving.
Yeah, you said something like, I can't do this. I'm starving. Yeah, you said something like, I can't do this.
I'm too stressed.
So I'm like, what?
Which is part of it.
You're fighting for $4.56 million.
Suck it up a little bit.
You know?
It was hard, but it was all worth it at the end.
I don't know.
Can you talk about that?
I don't know.
It was like seven hours long.
What was?
I got mad about it.
Because I was reading articles, like waiting
to see what's happening.
And then there was an article that came out.
Her mother called me, freaking out.
She's like, oh my god, they're saying
that people are getting taken out on a stretcher.
And somebody had a seizure.
And that it's freezing cold.
And I'm like, wait, are they doing this in the snow?
That's all I kept thinking.
I'm like, where are they?
Yeah.
And so I'm freaking out.
Her mom's freaking out. I'm like, OK, well, we didn't get a phone call. So that means she made it through. I'm like, where are they? And so I'm like freaking out.
Her mom's freaking out. I'm like, okay, well, we didn't get a phone call. So that means she made it
through. I'm like, she did D1 lacrosse. She can make it through anything in the snow. Like she's
done lacrosse in the snow. She's got this. So we didn't get a call. And I'm like, yes, she made it
through. Yeah. That is so wild. Yeah. So aside from what, when you got eliminated, what was the most
difficult challenge you did? Definitely Red Light, Green Light. As we talked about earlier, I played D1 Lacrosse and we used
to train in the snow because UMass and nurse in the winter is just pure snow. And it was hands
down the most physically challenging thing I've ever done. All the other challenges we played
were like mentally, they like mess with your mind, you know, a little bit of skills but like pure physicality, red light, green light outweighs everything. So. That's so wild.
Wow and like half the people got eliminated that day. Yeah, there was a couple hundred I think.
Jazz when you were on not only Bachelor but also BIP, what were the phone rules for you on that
show? No cell phone. They took your phone the day you arrived, like in the hotel.
Like you didn't have that in a hotel.
I remember in Paradise though, I did sneak a phone.
So I had my, because I learned from the bachelor,
I was like, I'm not gonna be able to,
because they put you in a hotel for like three days
to like do the whole therapy stuff and all that.
Right.
And I'm gonna have a cell phone.
So I had a cell phone like in my little bag,
like a little burner. They did, I was like, I did bring a burner because I
wanted to talk to my mom. I was like, I'm not going to be in here for three days. I
already knew the process. So I bought a burner phone and they check all your bags. I was
like, nervous they're going to find it. But like I hid it somewhere. I was like, yes,
they didn't find it. No phones. You're cut off from work, you're not allowed to read books, read magazines
because they want you focused on love.
Like, you know, that's what we're talking about.
On love.
On love.
So there was no phones, no books, anything.
It's kind of sad.
Because you know, you just want like being on the beach
and read a magazine or read a book and do that.
Yeah, and I'm guessing they probably,
magazines and stuff, they don't want, because
it'd be a lot of tabloid stuff probably about your season or whoever.
Exactly.
Yours was Nick Viall, right?
Yeah. Bachelor was Nick Viall. Paradise was everybody.
That is so crazy.
I love better. Paradise was the best because-
Paradise looked like fun.
It's like having fun with all your friends. And honestly, that's what it was for me. Like,
I think about when I look back in Paradise, I really didn't connect with anybody there.
I was connected with my best friend, Alexis. Like, we were having fun. Like, we were having
fun.
Yeah.
I was like, I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so
happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy.
I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy.
I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. it was for me. Like I think about when I look back in Paradise,
I really didn't connect with anybody there.
I was connected with my best friend Alexis.
Like we were having fun, like drinking and partying.
Like that was the best part,
just having a vacation with your girlfriends.
Yeah, that's how I would think of Paradise.
It sounds fun.
It's definitely my favorite to watch.
Kristin has pushed me a little bit into Bachelor Nation
and Bachelor in Paradise.
I'm like, I can actually get a little excited for.
No shade to Bachelor Nation
because I know a lot of people love it.
Some people it's just not for,
but Bachelor in Paradise feels more realistic.
One guy or one girl isn't dating 30 people at once.
It's, yeah, it just feels way more realistic.
It's like different characters and people,
and it's not just like one person and like 50 girls.
It just, it was giving, it's very old school,
the Bachelor, I feel like.
It's very like, we're in 2024, like can we,
I'm more of a Love Island girl now.
Love, Love Island, like that type of thing.
Absolutely.
Would either of you do a competition show?
Well, Melissa, you've done one,
but would you do another one like The Goat
or like a Survivor or a Celebrity Big Brother?
Amazing race would be our dream.
Okay, well, first of all, that is my dream. Survivor is my dream. Amazing race would be our dream. Okay, well first of all, that is my dream.
Survivor is my dream.
Yeah, that's our dream.
But yes, throw me in any challenge, I'm ready.
I can't do all that like naked and afraid
or like all this food stuff.
All right, that's not, that's like challenge stuff.
Yeah, but no.
No prize.
Yes.
I only said that because my cousin says
she's auditioning for it the other day
and I was like, it became a night.
Yeah, I'm not doing naked in a frame, but I'll do any other challenge.
I'll do like, I could do like amazing race.
That is something like even doing like the valley.
The reason I wanted to get back in TV.
I said, I will only do it if my partner is with me because I want to do something
that's like real and makes sense.
Yeah.
But amazing race, a hundred percent.
That is something that would be so fun.
Like couples amazing race.
If you guys did it together.
Love Amazing Race.
You guys could do it together too.
That would actually be really funny to watch.
Cause I feel like Lucca would be like,
what's going on?
Funny cause of me.
Well it's together.
I'd be putting Kristin on my back at times.
Be like, let's go.
Come on.
We can make this fire.
I love stamina.
I just have two left feet.
I'd be tripping and falling along the way.
But I love stamina. No, I think you'd be tough to do it. But Luke will definitely like...
I bet you guys didn't know this. I actually taught Kristen how to start a fire with Flint
and steel. That's true.
I love it. No way.
Now you're prepared for Survivor if you ever want to do it.
Exactly.
It's hard.
It is. There's definitely a technique to it. It takes practice.
We took a survival class and it's hard. It is. There's definitely a technique to it. It takes practice. We took a survival class and it was hard. I still can't do it.
I want to do that. That's how it feels when I'm at the ranch. I'm like,
let's have a survival class, Luke. What should I do?
It's so fun to just learn these random things.
Never know when you'll need it, okay? This is true.
Exactly. Hey, all I got to say, maybe not everyone on the valley likes me, but if shit hit the fan
Apocalypse everyone's kind of asked me if I got room for him at the ranch. That's all I'm saying
Who doesn't leak you is this this new T cuz I'm like I've ever liked you on our show
I feel like the most outcast of anybody in the group. Wait, no, I disagree
I don't think so in your defense. That's fair because you are the new, well, not even the newest, but like
you're newer to the group.
I mean, I feel like that's-
And new to LA.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But I don't think like not liked.
I feel like-
Well, I just think like one of these is not like the other and it's me.
It's fine.
It doesn't get in my head, but it's fine.
That's something you should be proud of.
Something I should be proud of. Something I should be proud of.
I'm not mad about it.

I wanted to ask you two, if you guys are willing to talk about this, we, I think
it was just us three talking at one point about children in the future.
So I thought it was really cool.
You told me that you guys would like to potentially freeze your eggs or do in vitro and carry
each other's embryos.
Reciprocal IVF.
Yep.
You can.
Super cool.
I mean, just tell us more about that.
The conversations you had getting to the decision.
I don't know if it's a decision yet, but that idea.
We both are on the same page with that, which is the most important thing.
I think we want kids, we would both like to have a genetically,
like genetically ours kid.
So like we both wanna have like our egg part of the process.
It's a little bit more frustrating.
They have to go through so much more work
to like figure all these things out.
There's so many things to coordinate,
but we are actively talking about it.
We do know that we would like to get married first.
So like we have a little bit of a timeline in mind and-
But it is something that we have to think about.
Like it's not like a normal, you know,
a sexual couple, we have to like, just put it off.
Like we have to think about these things.
You know, my doctor, she even said to me,
she's like, you know, don't even,
she's like, I wouldn't even freeze your eggs
because you know, you lose, you can lose
when you defrost them, whatever you lose.
You might, I know that sounds crazy,
you defrost them. Microw lose. You might, I know that sounds crazy, you defrost them.
Like.
Microwave, defrost, 12 eggs.
It's like, you can't.
But this is what she said to me.
I swear she told me this.
She said, listen, if you're so serious with your partner
and you guys are, you know, want to do this,
she's like, I just suggest making embryos
because then you have to freeze them.
And so I'm like, you know what?
That might be, that's something we are, you know, looking at and have kind of looked at websites and looked at donors.
And we might do that route. So even if we get engaged, like say this summer, we're still
going to make those embryos even before we, I guess, want to have the kids because it
doesn't make sense for me personally to freeze my kids. I'm a little older than her. So we
want to do a reciprocal IVF
to answer your question. That's so interesting because obviously just talking to the two of you
about it, which Jasmine, you and I actually did have a discussion when we filmed The Valley, which
it was sort of nipped down to nothing. But I thought it was not, it's not that it's something
hasn't really crossed my mind, but as much as I know about my fertility journey with Luke, which at this point does not include IUI or IVF or anything like that, but with
the two of you, yeah, just being such a more meticulous process, being that it's not like,
oh, we'll use Melissa's and then this donor, or we'll use Jasmine's and then this donor.
Yeah.
We need to think very strategically about it because we also would love our kids
to be related as well. So then you'd want to use the same sperm donor. We want our kids
to look like both of us. There's a lot of things to weigh out. At the end of the day,
whatever family we create, I will be happy with. It's a family with Jasmine. But yeah,
it just takes a little more planning.
Yeah. Sounds like it. The last question before we get to these listener questions,
who's going to propose or is it up in the air?
So we're both going to.
OK, so we both want to propose to each other.
So I think that is what's going to happen.
We're both going to do it.
We've been talking about how we're going to do this because it's going to happen soon.
We just don't. We're trying to figure out how to do it without making it.
We know it's going to be obvious because clearly like it's,
you just know when it's going to happen because you want to do it like somewhere
not in America. So it was like,
you see us go out and want it as you can expect.
Cause at first I was like, I'm going to do it first.
That was like my thing to do it first. I don't know. I've always thought.
The only thing I'll add on that note is we both want to give each other the experience
of being proposed to, and we both want to respect each other's families and do it the
right way.
So once again, it's a little more coordination, but we're still figuring it out.
I keep side-eyeing her like, wait, come on.
But I think I will probably do it first, I think, right?
And then eventually she would do it too.
Yeah. I would hope so.
You better. Yeah.
Give me that experience.
I love it. I would I would love to be a part of the planning for one of you
or the other. Honestly, we will use that.
Thank you. Because just thinking about it, how you have to like
all like the things that come with it and like trying to surprise her.
But even though she knows it's coming, it's like hard because with two women,
it's like, oh, you know, it's coming.
But like, can I come on your baby moon?
Absolutely not.
Yes.
No, because you did not celebrate.
That's okay.
We'll go and we're going to have a good time.
No, I never want to go to baby moon.
Actually never want to go to big bear.
I don't want to be on one.
I do want to go to Pontoons.
Yeah, we need to go to Big Bear
to make it a better experience for you.
If we're drinking in the lake,
they wouldn't let us in the lake.
They were like, you can't go in the water.
I said, that was exciting.
I was like, I'm not going to boat.
Michelle was like, is it a yacht?
I was like, Michelle, it's not a yacht.
Okay, we're in the lake.
It's a pontoon.
Do you think it's because Jack's almost drowned
that one season of Vanderpump Rules?
Maybe, I didn't even think of that.
I feel like the oldest guy in the group
who's from the great state of Michigan,
surrounded by lakes,
cannot hold himself up like 50 yards out, like Jesus.
I forgot, he almost did, oh did oh my god maybe I don't
know but we couldn't get in the water and I was so like sad. I was like and we
weren't drinking I was like this is boring. I don't think I'll go have fun but it was
just like maybe we'll just plan a you know a double date couples vacation
somewhere tropical. Honestly I'm down to do that. I told her I was like, we need to go on a vacation somewhere.
Yeah.
It was like a two day, three day, like quick.
I want to go by a lake in like, the tube.
You two travel more than anyone I've ever met in my entire life.
We travel so much. We do so many dope stuff.
That's why I was saying, like, I want people to see that.
Yeah.
I'm going to do cool stuff.
I feel like we don't do enough though. I'm like very, maybe that's the Aries in me. I'm like, I want people to see that. Yeah. I'm gonna do cool stuff. I feel like we don't do enough, though.
I'm like very, maybe that's the Aries in me.
I'm like, I can't sit still.
Like you were just in Japan.
I feel like every single time I blink my eyes and say,
oh, are you guys back in LA?
One of you are like, yeah, yeah,
but we're leaving on Friday.
And we're just, we're going to New Jersey for the weekend,
but then we're going, I don't know, you'll be like,
then we're going to South America,
but then we'll be home for like three days and then we're
going to Asia. And I'm like, what in the flying hell?
Do you guys like doing like classes or anything?
I would love to. I haven't in a long time.
Okay. Because we love just finding random classes or random experiences where you're
just like, why would you be... That's like the fire starting class. People are like,
why are you doing that? I was like, cause why not?
I'm wondering how to do a fire.
Like, damn, there's so much to learn in life.
Well, Janna just asked us to do class.
Yeah.
She was like, do you want to,
I mean, maybe you guys can come with us.
That sounds fun.
And to get the groups going back.
Woodwork.
Woodworking class.
I mean, I don't know about the teams.
It could be a good experience.
Make it work.
Could be.
Could be. I'm very hopeful, guys.
Yeah, I'm down. I actually was this close to booking a pasta making class for Kristin and me.
Let's do it.
That sounds fun.
You absolutely do.
Be really cool.
Honestly, there's so many things you don't do.
Just do it. I will.
It's so funny that Kristin's so jealous of all your travel,
yet she gives me shit that I'm traveling all the time because she can't it's because mama's ovulating and I want you here in LA
And you're like I'm going to Spain then I'm going to Indiana and then I'm going fishing with my dad in Michigan
Then I'll be back in Colorado and then I'll see you in three weeks. I'm like
Can see you right now
I can see you right now. I can see you.
These screens of ours.
Oh, boy.
Okay.
Lots of listener questions that we haven't even covered yet.
First question is from Shelly Trost.
She wants to know, Jazz, what are the differences between filming The Valley and Bachelor in
Paradise?
Oh, wow.
I mean, differences.
The Bachelor is,
it's not your real life.
It's kind of just a month of hanging out,
drinking on a beach with your friends
and trying to find love.
The Valley is your everyday life.
I think it's more authentic, I would say.
Yeah.
Bachelor in Paradise, always when I watch it,
and I have friends who have like gotten engaged
and married from it,
but you're going on vacation for however long you're there, and hopefully you can
make a real life out of it when you're done with the vacation.
Yeah, it's kind of like just a roulette. You're going to like somebody or not, make a connection,
and then you don't, then you just have fun with your friends. That's what happens to me.
Got it. And Jaz, this is for you as well. This is from, I'm going to totally just screw your name up.
Kat, something Espanol.
Jasmine, did the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders really all get along?
Spill the tea.
Very general question.
It's like any sports team.
You can say teammates have issues, period.
But at the end of the day, we knew what we were there for
and we would, if there was drama issues,
just put it aside and do what you gotta do.
But I think there really wasn't because, you know,
there's kind of like this order, you know,
you're a rookie, you kind of play your part,
the veterans are ruling everything.
Like you just, it's just how it is, you know,
but there was never any like fights or anything like that.
We were ladies, okay?
We're in Dallas and we were America's sweethearts.
You were America's sweethearts.
Yes.
Okay, this is from SouthernGal15.
This is for both of you.
What about your girlfriend makes her so special
that you wanted to date her?
I mean, we kind of talked about this,
but if there's certain characteristics characteristics that have like made you fall
in love and like continue to stay in love.
Yeah, there's, I have two answers and I'll make it quick. The first is like what drew
me to her is her energy. Just like when you'd be around her when we first met, nothing else
mattered. Like it was just all Jasmine. Everything about her attracted me,
but I think staying after that,
what kept our relationship strong is she is the first person
where there is not a concern in my mind
that this is real.
Everything just feels so comfortable.
And obviously you gotta work at a relationship
no matter what, but I just have no doubts,
and I've never really felt that before, so.
Yeah, I love that.
That's sweet.
Aw, that's really sweet.
Thank you.
That's really sweet.
I think for me, I probably said this already,
but she just takes care of me.
And I don't wanna say that she takes care of me
in like a, oh, she's like, baby me or whatever,
but just I've never had, no, I'm saying like,
like you really take care of me in ways where like you call me out when I'm wrong or
like you, um, not just cooking dinner for me,
you just always have been like the support for me that I need.
Cause I'm very like ADHD and like all over the place, but I needed,
I think I needed somebody like you.
So I think that is what has like helped me like stay too.
Don't I feel that
I'm very grateful that I have a partner like this because like, yeah.
Yeah, it's true.
So that's one thing.
And Jazz, this is for you
or if Melissa and if you want to weigh in on it, of course
but F Parada, how has being on the Valley
impacted your friendships
and do you see people differently? Ooh, yeah. You know, being on the Valley impacted your friendships and do you see people differently?
Ooh, yeah.
You know, being on TV, watching everything playback on TV,
it's so different than being in that moment,
like with your friends and, you know,
having, you know, conversations and things.
And it definitely has made me look at things differently
because I don't see like what you guys are filming
together. You know, we're not there when you guys are filming alone. I don't know what
anybody's what they're saying. So when I see it, I'm just like, okay, makes you just look
at things differently. I don't know if it's making, I would say like friendships differently.
It's just more like making me aware of like, how people are moving and how things are happening where I'm like, okay,
I see it from this lens, you know, because you just see it when you're in it, I guess.
That makes sense. We talked about this kind of like how, you know, just watching everything play
out. It's different than what my mind was last summer. I think that's a really good point that
maybe even long time fans or new fans might not understand
is just because we're living and it does.
And really, we talk, but it doesn't mean
I can imagine what it was like to be in your position
when I wasn't there.
Like, I watched Big Bear on TV.
It looked like hell.
But I'm actually, I don't know.
Maybe it was, it wasn't fun for you.
But let's just say, maybe it was also kind of fun, or it wasn't fun for you, but let's just say maybe it was also kind of fun
or it wasn't as bad as it looked
or it was a different kind of bad, if you will.
Yeah, and I'll give you an example,
where looking back at the balding event,
whatever, when, what was the balding event?
Yes, the balding event.
What is the, I don't know what the event is called.
The Mondrian, we were at the Mondrian.
Mondrian is the balding event though, yeah.
Like, you know, when Jesse and Jamie, they're all like, you know, we're not gonna invite
them to anything.
And like watching it back, I didn't realize like watching, I'm like, oh, that's good,
you know, but in that moment, they're all like, hi, you just didn't, it didn't click
to me, like how that looked in that moment
or how that came off.
But watching it back, I'm like, oh my God, absolutely not.
This isn't okay.
We shouldn't be even talking this way about anybody.
It could have been, you know, vice versa,
like me in that situation.
I would not want that.
So watching it back was kind of like hard.
And I think that's a part where I was like, okay.
Like, so I don't know if it's like a,
to answer your question, I don't know if it's like
seeing how my friendships are different, just more like I see how things okay, like, so I don't know if it's like a, to answer your question, I don't know if it's like seeing how my friendships are different,
just more like I see how things are, people are moving.
Yeah, yeah.
Right, because we only live one perspective,
but when we can watch it back,
we can see other people's perspective
and see what they're going through
behind closed doors, exactly.
Yeah, so that's like kind of, I've been like,
difficult, I guess.
Yeah, very good point.
I wanna chime in on that too, because it's weird to,
I want to take it more that, too, because it's weird to I want to take it more
literally when I'm watching it.
I know that there's, you know, editing that goes into it, but I feel like I've
gotten to know people better watching it than my experience with them.
And then it like confuses my brain is like, do I go off my true experience
or do I go off what I see on TV?
You know what I mean?
Yeah, it messes with my head like that.
Yeah, no, I mean, that's a good point. You look at it, you're like, hmm, wow, that is kind of
confusing you a little bit. You're like, well, I thought this person was like Fizz, and you're
watching, maybe they're not like that. You're like, you just see things in a different lens,
and it's, yeah. Yeah. It's weird. It messes with my head. Yeah.
Yeah. Because I have never judged someone based off of anything but my experience with them.
That's how I am looked to.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Very good point.
Go off the real experience.
Yeah.
Exactly.
Yep.
And then this is for Jas, but I, I like to ask both of you, cause again, about the
Valley, but Melanie D Jasmine, is it difficult feeling like you're put in the
middle when your friends fight?
But for you too, like even though maybe you weren't
filming the valley all the time, you're that's still like,
you and Jasmine are a couple, you live together.
So is that difficult?
I guess on the show or off the show?
Yeah, you can go.
Obviously, I'm not on the show.
So I'm not like the person who's in the middle,
but I'm in the middle of watching her being in the middle.
And I would say it's definitely difficult. There are so many sides to different stories and things like pop up in ways that are not always expected.
So she's constantly trying to navigate the middle of like, I care for this person and I care for this person.
And both of them have valid points,
but both of them are wrong in the same way. That's always a tough thing. And like, you
know, sometimes people will be like, well, you can't always play the middle, you have
to like pick a side. And that's not fair either, because different people have different lived
experiences and different people are involved in different conversations. So like, it is
hard to see like, both sides and know you want to defend both people
or whatever it might be.
I don't know.
I know, no, it is, for me, it definitely is hard.
It's not easy.
And it's one of those things where like normal life,
I would be like, listen, I don't give a fuck.
I'm bouncing out.
Like, I don't care.
Like y'all fight to the death, like whatever.
But you know, since we are, this is what we signed up for.
You have to have like these opinions and talk. It's really hard because it's like, I see both sides to
everything that's happening. And I'm just like, okay, you have your feelings, you're
allowed to have those feelings, you're allowed to have these feelings. But it's just very
difficult to see, especially people who were once friends, not be friends. And it's like,
I know you guys can bring it back. You know. I know you guys, like just you got you, Janet, Zach,
like this issue, it is hard because it's like,
I know we all used to be friends.
So in my mind, I'm thinking, why can't we get back there?
So that's all I'm thinking about,
but I have to remember everybody's entitled
to how they're feeling right now.
And their experiences.
Yeah, and their experiences.
And I have to remember that, but it's freaking hard.
It sucks.
And I'm just like.
Well, and that's a really good point that you made.
I feel like Luke and I talked about this recapping
Vanderpump and stuff, but it's just that like exactly
what you said, Jazz, like you and Melissa specifically,
I think as your friends would prefer to not be
in the middle.
Like, yes, if I called you and said,
oh my God, guess what happened last night,
you're gonna listen to me,
but you don't have to be in the middle yet on a show like
The Valley, a docu-series.
I don't know and I don't care.
Don't fly.
Imagine if we were all on TV going, I don't know.
I don't care.
Who cares?
Wow.
That show would last 13 seconds.
So I think that's a really good point.
So we have to talk about these things and it is tough.
And like I said, I'm very hopeful
and I hope we can all bring it back.
But I don't know, but at the same time, too,
I think that it's good to call each other out for things
and say it for what it is.
I don't know, I just think I'm built different.
I always say this, I think I'm built different.
All this drama, I really, I just feel different say this. I think I'm built different. All this drama, I really, I'm just built different.
No.
I think you handle it really well.
And I do think you're the valley whisperer.
I'm trying, but you know what?
I can't stand, I know it's gonna come off
cause I already know this come off as like this
two-faced thing.
I already know, I get that.
And that's why I'm like, I have to pick sides,
but it's not about picking sides because there's right
and wrongs on both sides, you know?
And that's why I wanna be like, y'all both are wrong and you're both are right.
Yeah.
Yeah, and I don't think that makes you,
I don't think that makes you wishy-washy, flip-floppy
or two-faced, where it can appear that way
for other people on other reality shows.
I think you're trying to maintain Switzerland,
but be very honest about how you feel
instead of going, I don't care, you know?
Well, that's what, I mean, I don't care. You know?
Well, that's what, I mean, I'm not giving away.
Well, watch the finale.
Like, in the finale, that's why I was so,
I don't want to spoil it.
But, you know, I was so, like, heated
because it was just really good.
I felt really heated.
And I was very checked out after that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
This is from the Paula Lynn.
And this is not a question,
but just want to tell them
that I absolutely adore them and I'm so happy to watch them.
Aw, thank you.
Thank you.
Which I think is so sweet.
That's all about.
And Jazz, do you, this is for you from Do It Like Dodie.
This is not me, by the way.
Does Jasmine regret the infamous choke hold?
And then in parentheses it says she shouldn't.
Oh my God.
You should not regret it.
I don't regret that.
No, I regret being that drunk at that time.
No, we still joke about it.
It is funny.
I don't hurt.
We're fine.
It's funny.
I'm fine.
I just regret being that lit.
I was writing from home.
We're trying to get out of there.
And this is from Sarah K. Samulaw.
Jasmine, are Kelly and Judy hard taskmasters or softies
in real life?
So for those of you who don't know, because I didn't know,
I text Jasmine and I said, are Kelly and Judy from DCC?
Because I have no idea who this is.
So if you want to explain who Kelly and Judy are
for the people that don't know.
Kelly and Judy are the directors of the DCC.
They are, Judy is a little softy.
Like she's, she means she's very stern, but she's a little softy though. Kelly, no, she doesn't play
games. You know, she doesn't play games. If you watch making the team, you know, she doesn't play
games. Okay. She just tells it how it is. She literally told a girl straight up while we were
practicing goes, Kim, you're boring. That was her note.
She gave notes to everybody like, okay, your turn was off.
Kim boring.
I'm not joking with you guys.
Go back.
We joke at all the time.
So Kim's my friend and we always joke, Kim, you're boring.
Because that's really what she's doing.
We're like, that's her note.
Like, it's great to define it.
And on last listener question, Rose Pisces, 0306.
For both of you, what is your favorite TV show,
or what are you watching now?
Doesn't have to be reality.
Just what's your favorite show?
What's yours?
No, you go first.
Oh my god, my favorite show.
Okay, my favorite show.
What are you watching right now?
I love my next level chef.
Ooh, good one.
But it just finished, so now I'm watching Virgin 10.
But good.
I'm not like a big TV watcher. She doesn't watch TV. She really doesn't like TV. I'm more of a like, I'll watch old about something else? I'm like, no. Harry Potter, Milano, it's like, I don't know.
I'm like, no.
I'm like, no.
I'm like, no.
I'm like, no.
I'm like, no.
I'm like, no.
I'm like, no.
I'm like, no.
I'm like, no.
I'm like, no.
I'm like, no.
I'm like, no.
I'm like, no.
I'm like, no.
I'm like, no.
I'm like, no.
I'm like, no.
I'm like, no.
I'm like, no. I'm like, no. I'm like, no. I'm like, no. I'm like the epitome of watch the same movie like 1700 times. Well, over and over and Jasmine wants to kill me for it.
She's like, can you be pleased about something else?
Harry Potter, Milana, it's like on my feet over here.
I watch Milana on the plane all the time.
So you guys don't know I just upgraded my DVD collection in Colorado
because we rewatch and rewatch stuff.
I love it.
Because he doesn't have Wi-Fi.
I don't keep Wi-Fi out there.
Oh, I know.
You have it on your hotspot. I choose not to have it because I'm
not there all the time. I'm not going to pay 150 bucks a month when I'm not there. Anyway,
I've got like 100 DVDs now and it just went up from about 12. So we had recycled them
all quite a few times. It's pretty funny.
Oh, I love it. I love it.
Hey, you know, shit hits a fan. I still have a DVD player and all 100 DVDs, so we're good.
That's true. Luke, do you have the rapids?
OK. Are you ready? Yes.
Favorite restaurant?
Benny Hanna. That's so basic. I'm sorry.
Hey, now that works. Kitchen Cafe.
OK. Kitchen Cafe. All right.
Dogs or cats? Dogs.
I would do dogs, but yeah.
Road trip or fly?
Fly. Fly.
National park or beach vacation?
National park.
Beach.
What is your hype song?
So like if you're getting ready to go out.
Right now, right now it's Stargazing by Miles Smith or something like that.
It's new.
I literally learned about it three days ago.
It's whatever her hype song is in mind. Yeah, that's a good answer baby. It's new. I literally learned about it three days ago. It's whatever her type song is in mind.
Yeah, that's a good answer, baby.
Good answer.
Hell yeah.
All right.
Pizza topping.
Pepperoni.
Beer or wine?
Wine.
Easy.
Man, you guys are too easy.
What is your go-to easy meal?
To cook?
Well, we usually call it lazy meal.
Like you're at home.
Lazy meal.
Right.
Ramen, some kind of noodle dish.
Probably chicken cutlet.
Chicken cutlet.
How do you cook it?
I mean, that's a cut of meat.
How do you make it?
We gotta pound it, bread it, fry it.
In Italian culture, that's an easy meal.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
Fair enough.
That was some pasta and some red sauce. I don't know. I just
made cheese. Come on. That's not easy. That's like a real meal for me. I know. I'm like macaroni and
cheese, but like the small stuff. So you add water. That's a Brahmin. She's like, chicken nuggets.
Amazing. All right. That's all I got. Do you have anything else, babe? No, that's great. You guys
are so awesome and I love you. And I'm so glad our listeners and fans of the show get to like know you a little bit
better because thank you.
You and to me, Jaz, you and Zach are like the unsung heroes.
They listed you as like a friend, which yes, you are.
I know.
I'm like, I know.
I get it.
Because the couple's love.
I'm just kidding.
We got couples, man.
So setting it up.
Hopefully next season.
I don't know.
It's going to be a real different. We're still waiting here. You know, but I love you guys.
I'm grateful for you guys as friends and hope we get to see you a lot more. I love you guys too.
You've been nothing but the best. We love you so much. Have fun in Jersey and then come home,
hang out with me and stop leaving so much. I know.
Or do pack me in your suitcase either way.
Yes. Yes, come out here.
