Starting point is 00:04:27 doty. Thrivemarket.com. doty. What's up babes welcome back to another episode of Bouncing Act. I got my bestie on. Hi, Brittany. Hey, y'all. Hello, Brittany Cartwright. Hello. Are you glad you...
Starting point is 00:04:52 This is random. Are you glad you never changed your last name? I'm so glad. So you don't have to go through it now? Yeah. Like I never changed it. Thank goodness. You're like, you're just Brittany Cartwright.
Starting point is 00:05:02 Yeah. That's who you are. Could you imagine? I have to go through the courts and be like... You're like, you're just Brittany Cartwright. That's who you are. Could you imagine I have to go through the courts and be like... You're like, no, not done. Please, please, my name back. Like, no, I'm not doing that. Luke asked me the other day, he's like, do you think it's hard to do a name change because why do none of our friends ever change their name?
Starting point is 00:05:17 Yeah, I mean, you're known as Kristen Doty. Would you do it whenever you get, you're going to change your name? I'm going to change mine. Yeah. I mean, if people still like name? I'm gonna change mine. Yeah. I mean, if people still like professionally, I'm fine with just Kristen Doty. Doesn't have to change. But like, my name...
Starting point is 00:05:31 I like, I love my last name and I love my family, but that last name has haunted me my whole fucking life. Kristen Doody. Doubt? Dutay? Duh-duh-duh? Donut? Like, no.
Starting point is 00:05:42 Roger? Easy. I mean, the shit that people have called me when I was little, they used to be like, Kristen Doty, Lifts on Dudley. And for some reason that made me really sad. Well, Luke actually goes by his last name. For me, it was a little bit different because- It wasn't Taylor.
Starting point is 00:05:58 ... Jax never went by Jason Couchy. So for me, it was like, okay, Jax Taylor. You're not going to be Britney Taylor. Yeah, it wasn't the same because we were just like in a public atmosphere at that time. And at the same time, it's like, I'm sorry. If you're not going to go by that, then I'm not going to go by that, which I was always open to it always. But how am I supposed to go from Jason Couchy,
Starting point is 00:06:25 Jax Taylor, you know? Like, I'm sorry, that's not my fault. That didn't happen, you know? No, that's really smart. But yeah, when he said that, I was like, oh, that's interesting. And I don't even just mean our show friends, but if you think about our show friends,
Starting point is 00:06:39 like Tom and Katie never did name change. Sheena hasn't done a second name change because she did do a first one. And now it's like, oh my God, I can't imagine being like, here we go again. Yeah. Not, I'm sure it's not like impossible, but it does seem like a, it's not as simple maybe as one would think it is or something. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Yeah. I mean, you have to do your license or credit card or everything. I don't even like doing address changes and I move way too much. Like that's a pain in my ass. Yeah. So... I'm like, what ended up at my ex-boyfriend's fucking house? Ugh. Fuck. Um, so right before we start recording,
Starting point is 00:07:18 well, I'm sitting at your house right now and I'm sitting next to these cute props from your photo shoot. Yes. My new rebrand. That was so cute. I didn't cute props from your photo shoot. Yes, my new rebrand. That was so cute. I didn't even know what your thoughts were going into it. Like, I remember you were going to do it. I was going to come over. Wasn't having a great prego day. But so fucking cute. Thank you. Did you know exactly what you wanted or did you guys like do it together?
Starting point is 00:07:41 Yeah, no, I knew what I wanted. Like I wanted the white backdrop. I wanted like all black and white with red and you know, just little stuff like that. So you, most you photo ever. In a robe with the curlers and the glam. So I did look for inspo on like Pinterest and stuff. And then I saw something I really loved and I was like, okay, let me take this and make it into my own.
Starting point is 00:08:03 And then like me being in the director's chair and like having the slate say, like when reality hits, take two, director Brittany Cartwright, you know, like it just had like a lot of, um, a lot of meaning behind it. I was like, bitch, you are the director in your own life now. Yeah. You don't have to take a back seat anymore. Exactly. You shed that 200 plus pounds of man weight.
Starting point is 00:08:27 And damn, she looking fine because of it. It felt really good. And I loved being able to post that and just have like my own story to tell, you know? Without like going back and forth anymore, without doing any of that stuff. Like it felt good. That had to be so hard. I mean, I was irritated by it because I love your podcast. I was just listening to your one from, with Lala,
Starting point is 00:08:53 that you just did, and it was like, it irritated. And I don't care if I sound like a Jax hater right now, but like it irritated me because I'm like, no offense, I don't want to hear Jax talk about the mind of a man or whatever the f— Please. Yeah. So going back and forth for weeks and weeks and weeks, Like, no offense, I don't want to hear Jax talk about the mind of a man or whatever the f— Please. Yeah. So going back and forth for weeks and weeks and weeks, actually like months that we had
Starting point is 00:09:11 to do that. So it was like, oh gosh, like how long? And then whenever March came, I was like, yes, finally, finally, the contract is up and I could start fresh. I signed a new contract and you know, it's just like, it's amazing. You don't have to rely on, is he going to pull through or get it done? You know, is someone, just really in your life right now, you don't have to be like, do I have to wait on someone else to do what I want to do in my life?
Starting point is 00:09:42 Do I have to constantly be checking to see if someone got things done in order for me to live my life anymore? It's like, if he doesn't do his stuff, I hope that he does. Again, we are hopeful over here. We're in the hopeful, we want Jack Taylor to get better fan club. That's about it.
Starting point is 00:10:00 But like, yeah, anyway, I'm like, that's really it. It's only part of the fan club, guys. Just, you know, but very hopeful, but it's like, sorry, the, I'm like, that's really it. It's only part of the fan club, guys, just, you know. But very hopeful, but it's like, sorry, the track record isn't great. And I know for a very long time, you were like wiping too many asses. Like the only butt you should have to wipe
Starting point is 00:10:15 is when your son needs you to help him. Exactly. Exactly. I mean, you know, it was a lot, going back and forth, going back and forth, but it's over now. And I'm so happy. Like, it's like a relief. What should we do this summer that's like, where should we go? Or like, I don't know if it's like, we want to go on like a trip trip like we should,
Starting point is 00:10:35 I mean, to like Mexico or something like that. Or even like somewhere that's not super far. And like, do like a girls trip. Like, what's a... I was trying to think of a good places for like you girls that are single. Like what's a, I don't even know because I'm going to want a hot girl somewhere too. Yeah. But like in between babies. Is it going to be like with all the guys?
Starting point is 00:10:55 Like is Jack's going to be at the event? Like, you know, like this past season it was great because he wasn't at everything, you know, he was not there. So it's like, oh my gosh, next season. Yeah, but no, he doesn't... He should not be there. Absolutely not. Or we'll just do like a girls trip. Yes, girls trip.
Starting point is 00:11:13 I think a girls trip would be so fun. Whether it's like a big one or a small one. Yeah, it could be in the United States. But just like, I don't know, like... I'm not even a mommy. I mean, I'm a mom to a fetus, but I'm a mom. I'm a mom. You are a mom.
Starting point is 00:11:29 But like when I'm a mom of a human baby that's not living inside of me, like yes, I'm already thinking about how I want to get myself back or whatever the new version of myself will be. Cause I've talked to you, I've talked to my other friends, I've read everything my algorithm on Instagram gives me about being a mom and being pregnant.
Starting point is 00:11:48 And it's like, you never go back to who you were, quote unquote, but like, you're just like that person, but evolved, right? Because you're always a mom now and you've never been a mom before. So it's just like, that's your new norm. And it's a very wild thing and very cool. But also, and I say this with gentleness so people aren't like, oh my god she's pregnant and she's already thinking about like going out and partying or like thinking about how she can be herself again. But I am thinking about being myself again because right now I feel great
Starting point is 00:12:19 mentally and emotionally but the first 20 weeks of my pregnancy I was like, I don't feel like myself. I don't know how to troubleshoot the way that I used to. I was very emotional and all this bullshit. And so once I have the baby, like, I've heard from a lot of really smart and healthy parents who have said they brought the baby into their life. Like, of course you change certain things, right? But you make the baby work into your life, and that's course you change certain things, right? But you make the baby work into your life, and that's the life you live as a family now.
Starting point is 00:12:49 And so I do, and I already am looking forward to like being social again, like going to a concert or just spending time with like adult friends. But I feel like, well, I always just talk. And that's important because a lot of people, like even me, you feel mom guilt. Like that's something that you're gonna experience. It's gonna happen. I know that you do. I feel like you're a little better at it.
Starting point is 00:13:11 I mean, you don't go out often. You go out like once a week if we're lucky here. But I remember a couple years ago, we would go out and within minutes of being at a restaurant, you would be like, do you think Chris is okay? Do you think he's sad without me? And we're like, Brittany, we have literally been out of the house for less than 15 minutes. He's okay.
Starting point is 00:13:32 He probably is playing in his room. He doesn't even realize you're gone right now. So you're going to experience that, you know? And you will feel that. But it passes, you know? Like I now know, like if I want to have a night out with my friends or whatever, like he's safe, he's good. He's totally fine.
Starting point is 00:13:51 And like it's important for us as women to be able to have like our lives ourselves too, you know? Cause you can get into a dark hole thinking of like mom guilt and am I doing this or am I doing that wrong? Am I doing, you know, it goes back and forth like all the time. But like I feel like every single mother feels like that. So be prepared for that part. Like where you're gonna be like, I don't want to leave my baby. I don't want to leave my baby. I feel like I, you know, need to be there. And of course, but you're there all the time. You still need to live. You're like, you still need to be there and of course, but you're there all the time. Right. You still need to live your life.
Starting point is 00:14:26 You still need to have your fun. Yeah. Like when you and I've talked about like the fucking Internet, that social media can be so great and so shitty. And one of the shitty aspects of it is the people that I've watched from afar. Shame you girls, our friends that post going out or being out with their friends or doing whatever, as if that's the only thing you fucking do. Yes, I know. Which blows my mind because when I watch,
Starting point is 00:14:54 like my favorite, like even mom influencers, the ones that are that, my favorite ones are the ones that also post the shit they do outside of their houses. Because to me, there's nothing more fake than pretending you're Suzy Helmaker 24-7-365. And that you literally don't do, you have nothing else. You have no hobby, you have no friends,
Starting point is 00:15:12 you have no thoughts outside of motherhood. Seems to me like far more fake and stupid than being like, wow, I'd go out once in a while with my friends. And also, why would any mom want to literally sit with a camera on her kid seven days a week? Like, yeah. Like, is that what people expect you to be posting? It's just photos, videos of crews 24 seven.
Starting point is 00:15:36 Yeah. How about that's your private life? Yeah. And that's what I would like hope for. But at the same time, like people still do expect that. And it's it's crazy. It's insane. It's like we have to have our it's crazy. It's insane. It's like, we have to have our own lives or we will go insane. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:51 We've all been there, right? You know, you should probably go see a doctor, but you keep putting it off. You say things like, well, I'm too busy or it'll heal on its own, or I don't really need help. Okay, well, trust me, I've used every excuse in the book, but here's the thing, getting the care you need should not be something you procrastinate.
Starting point is 00:16:10 And that is why I am obsessed with ZocDoc. I think that's like the healthiest thing.
Starting point is 00:18:20 It's stuff that I've realizing that I've taken from watching you be a parent and watching some of our friends that I'm closer to like be parent. And it's like, I mean, I have a bunch of questions I want to ask you to babe down going down baby. But really just I've been thinking about that lately, like when I ask you things, but just what I've witnessed over the last almost four years is I think that's the balance that you personally have with the relationship
Starting point is 00:18:46 with your son, because you're basically a single mom. Yeah, 100%. And have been for quite a while. Like, he has a father who loves him, but does not give the support that you give whatsoever. Yep, thank you. Yes. Like, mentally, emotionally, literally,
Starting point is 00:19:01 physically, financially. Yeah, financially, yeah. All of it. But you have somehow found, like, literally, physically, financially. All of it. But you have somehow found like you're fucking... I don't know what you are. You're like this little angel on a pedestal. Like you find this balance of work and play, and then also being a mom 24-7.
Starting point is 00:19:19 Like it's fucking wild. And you don't have breakdowns. Like, I have breakdowns. I have breakdowns, I definitely do. I have breakdowns in private. I definitely have breakdowns. Not often. Not often, no. But there are a lot of times where I feel lonely and I feel like this isn't the life that I thought I was going to have. And I'm not saying with my son. I didn't know you thought you were going to have a loving husband. Yes. I thought I was going to be married for the rest saying with my son. Best thing that's ever happened in my life. You thought you were gonna have a loving husband, father, caretaker.
Starting point is 00:19:46 Yes. I thought I was going to be married for the rest of my life. So there's like just a lot of things like that where it's been super difficult for me to take, I guess. Or I'll be like, you know, home alone and that's like hard. Yeah, like if he's sleeping and then you're just here. Yeah. Yeah, I can get that too. But there's like nothing else I'd rather do or rather be, you know? So it's like, it's a weird balance.
Starting point is 00:20:13 It's a weird balance. Like you get your sad moments, but you're also like, oh my God, he's the best thing that's ever happened to me. Wouldn't change it for the world. And I imagine now it's just like getting... I mean, I guess you've been used to the kind of the lonely feeling even when you were married. But like now it's like you kind of get the good with the bad
Starting point is 00:20:32 or you get the loneliness, but you also get the fucking freedom. Oh, yeah. Which is for you the beauty. Like peace, you know? Like it's just like living day to day and having peace without having to deal with all the bullshit has been amazing. Amazing, because I know I can do this all by myself.
Starting point is 00:20:51 It's fine, I can do it, I can do it. But like having the peace from not having to deal with like the bullshit and the lies and the manipulation and everything else that comes along with. The energy in the house has shifted so immensely. It's so just like... Yeah. Yeah. Like it's so happy when I come in here. Yeah, right?
Starting point is 00:21:12 It's like whether or not you have a candle burning, it always smells of pecan waffles. Pumpkin pecan waffles. Pumpkin pecan waffles. Bath and bodywork shout out. My favorite candle of all time. You guys, I don't know why she's not sponsored by you guys yet. Like seriously.
Starting point is 00:21:27 Like I'm like probably like your, I don't know, like 47th best customer and I'm gonna put Brittany in number one. I've always said like if I die, which I hate going to this, but like still I'm telling all my friends like, hey guys, if I die, make sure at my funeral you have pumpkin pecan waffles. And Cardi B performing? Cardi B performing or Nicki Minaj or somebody. Lil Wayne maybe.
Starting point is 00:21:53 But no, like the candles. I'm like, you will smell that and think of me instantly. And everybody who knows me, that would be there. I'd be like, someone's like Britney in here. You know? We've been filming something lately. And yesterday I was asked about my celebrity hall pass. Oh yeah. And I was like, who did I used to say?
Starting point is 00:22:15 Who do I think now? And for some reason I draw a blank at times, but then yesterday I was like, well, it was Travis Kelce. And then it was like Taylor Swift happened and I was like,ce. And then it was like Taylor Swift happened. And I was like, nah. And then it was Morgan Wallen. And then Kristin Caff came out and said, she had slept with him before. Like they used to be like, fuck buddies.
Starting point is 00:22:33 And I was like, okay, now I gotta pick someone else. And I was just having such a hard time. But I'm like, there's probably a lot of people. Do you have one right now or? I mean, I feel like I said when we were talking about that, that it was Tom Hardy and Odell Beckham. Oh, oh, okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:50 O-D-B-J. Yeah. But I'm also in like really in the more chestnut right now. Who's that? What? Sorry. It's so hot. Who is that? Show me.
Starting point is 00:23:00 What is he? Is he an actor? Yeah. And he just came out with this like- Doesn't sound like an athlete. He just came out with this like Sherlock Holmes like type thing, but he's a doctor. He was on The Resident, which I just watched and I was like obsessed with it. Should I watch that? I need a new show.
Starting point is 00:23:14 Yeah. Okay. We're looking at Morris Chestnut. I need to know if that's his real name. Oh, hello. You're cute. Oh, yeah. He's married and happily for like 18 years, which is a beautiful... Well, you're very good looking if you have any worse chestnut lookalikes out there. But I'm like, Odell, Tom Hardy, hello.
Starting point is 00:23:32 Yeah. Still love them. Okay. I like it. I like that for you. I was just curious. I'm like, hmm. What about you right now? Who would it be right now since it's not going to be Morgan Wallen or... So it was, and a little bit it is, but like it feels just whatever. So it was Dylan Efron before Traders. Oh, before?
Starting point is 00:23:53 I used to follow him after I watched Down to Earth. And then I followed him for a while and then I was like, this is fucking silly. And so I stopped following him and then I started following him again because I loved him on Traders. But I feel like every time I watch like a new movie and it's someone like really cute or like I love that person in the movie, I'm like, wait, who's that?
Starting point is 00:24:11 And then I go to their Instagram and then that's my crush for like the next few weeks. Like that, remember that guy Noah sent, he's like younger to all the boys I love the most. That if you ever, he's like, he's kind of a teeny bopper heartthrob guy. But I think you were with me. So when I was single for one of my small stints,
Starting point is 00:24:35 I swear you were with me. We were like at an award show or something. And I was single and so I DMed him. Because I saw him from afar and I was like, I'm gonna slide into his DMs. Like I had a chance in hell. Of course he never responded. That's not what he looks like.
Starting point is 00:24:52 Whenever we sat by Neo, I knew how nice he was. That him. Oh, he's so cute. I know, he's young. He's very young. I could be his mother. But anyway, so it's like, I had a crush on him for like a minute. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:05 And then after I sent him the DM, I was like, I don't have a crush on him anymore. I hate your response. Yeah. I'm like, we're done. We're through. We are over Noah. We are never ever ever getting back together. I was going to ask you what you thought about Dylan Ephron, but then I'm like,
Starting point is 00:25:22 he's so not your type. At all. I mean, I don't really know much about him Ephron, but then I'm like, he's so not your type. At all. I mean, I don't really know much about him. I haven't watched all the traitors yet. So... Would you ever be on traitors? I mean, I don't really know the concept or anything. He'd be such a good faithful.
Starting point is 00:25:35 You think? What's a faithful? So like the traitors are trai... Like they're the bad ones that murder people. And the faithfuls are the good guys. And who wins? How does somebody win? So basically at the end of the game, there's like four people at the end. And they can say, if they're all four faithfuls, they can say, we all want to split the money.
Starting point is 00:25:56 Or they can say, or the four faithfuls can say, we want to vote another person off. So then they don't have to split as much money. But if there's one trader left in the group, the trader wins everything. So the whole point of the game is to figure out who the traders are and banish them. Is it like clue?
Starting point is 00:26:14 No. Oh, dang it. Because no one knows what anyone is. Everyone could be like, I'm a faithful, I'm a faithful. But you are such a faithful in real life. And I just think- What if they make me a traitor though? And I would have to lie to everybody?
Starting point is 00:26:26 I don't think they would. You'd be terrible at it. You'd be like the worst traitor of all traitors ever. They would be like, Brittany, I think Brittany's a traitor. And you're like, nose would start twitching. You're like, no, I'm not. I mean, I can't lie to you. I mean, I'd giggle or something.
Starting point is 00:26:41 You would giggle. Like 100% I would giggle. So they would make you a faithful and make you try to figure it out. I think you'd giggle or something. You would giggle. Like, 100% I would giggle. So they would make you a faithful and make you try to figure it out. I think you'd be good at that. Would you ever do like a competition show? I mean, yeah. That'd be fun.
Starting point is 00:26:53 I think it would be good to like push myself to do different things. Yeah. You know, like after everything I've been through recently, I feel like it would be so good to try something new. Like shake up your world a little bit. Yeah, shake up my world. I think you should. You know? up my world. I think you should.
Starting point is 00:27:05 You know? Everyone out there, I think Brittany should do that. Okay, I have some baby stuff questions. All right, let's do it. Okay, first thing, this is about a baby shower. So I went to a baby shower this weekend and they played a game. And the game was like that thing, I don't think we played this at yours, but it's like, how well do you know the mom?
Starting point is 00:27:22 And you have to fill out all the answers. And I was like reading these and I didn't know like half of them. And also I could not answer them for myself. And then I was thinking about you and I was like, I couldn't fucking answer these for Britney. It's like, what day of the week? What's your favorite movie?
Starting point is 00:27:37 Like one, what's your favorite song? Yeah, like what would you pick over everything? What day of the week is it? Is it Forgot About Dre? Or is it like Fleetwood Mac the week is it? Is it Forgot About Dre? Or is it like Fleetwood Mac? Or is it like some fucking Sappy Country song? Like, I could not answer that for myself. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:51 Yeah. And so, I just wanna know how you felt about that. Oh, well, Kristen's already told me, because we were playing her Baby Shower. She's like, I don't really wanna play games. Is that lame of me though? No. I just don't want those kind of games.
Starting point is 00:28:03 I feel like they're, and no offense to my friends who have these kind of Baby Showers, but like, it's not lame of me though. I just don't want those kind of games. I feel like they're, in no offense to my friends who have these kind of baby showers, but like, it's not for me. I think it's fucking boring and no one wants to sit around and watch people open presents. And I get physically uncomfortable opening gifts. I like want to do it in the privacy of my own room and be like, yay, so what do you think?
Starting point is 00:28:19 But like, am I lame for being like, I don't want to play games. No, because we already agreed that we will find a game that's like different and funny. And we can just do like one game. Like it doesn't have to be like three or four games, you know? It could just be one game. But it's not going to be like the, let's put a Twix in a diaper and smell it and see what the candy bar is, you know?
Starting point is 00:28:42 I did that for many baby showers, but you know. I've never done that before. Really? Oh, so should we do that one for yours? The only game I can think of outside of like the norm was at Michelle's baby shower. When you and I did that game where you put the thing in your mouth,
Starting point is 00:29:00 it makes your lips all wide and shit and your gums. Oh, yeah. And you talk. Speak out or whatever. I think so, yeah. And then you have to say words. Yeah, Oh, yeah. And you talk. Speak out or whatever. I think so, yeah. And then you have to say words. Yeah, yeah. You and I did that there.
Starting point is 00:29:08 I think we might have won. Yeah, I think we did. We were like raspberry. I was a lot of fun. Every other shower I go to, it's like, well, how well do you know the mommy? And I'm like, fuck it. Well, I'm not going to do that at your baby shower, but we are playing at least one game, just one. OK, so we will figure out one that is like,
Starting point is 00:29:40 yeah, different and includes everybody. And yeah, you know, just funny, something funny, something worthy of the gram. Yeah. Different and includes everybody and... Yeah. Something just funny. Something funny. Something worthy of the gram. Yeah. Something I want on videotape later.
Starting point is 00:29:52 Yeah. Okay. We got to figure out what that's going to be. People DM me and let me know your ideas for a fun baby shower game. Seriously. Because we got everything planned. The only thing I don't have planned for your baby shower is the game. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:07 Everything else is like wrapped in a bow. Wrapped and ready to go. I'm so excited. I'm so excited. Oh no, me too. Okay. And then this is something that I've been doing like crazy. So I want to talk about this.
Starting point is 00:30:19 Now that I'm getting closer, I keep saying like home stretch. I still have like three months left. This morning, I don't know why, I didn't have a weird dream about it, but I started Googling like tearing. Tearing? Like my vagina to my butt hole. And I'm like, and then there's like,
Starting point is 00:30:37 what is it called? There's like some kind of like massage you can do. They call it a massage, but it's literally like opening up your vagina and stretching it and shit. So I like tried to do it and it hurt. And I'm like, no, this isn't fun. And now I'm like super scared.
Starting point is 00:30:47 There's also like some tablets you can take. I forget, like Primrose or something. Okay. I'm not sure that's the correct thing. So do not take me as a doctor and be like, oh, Brittany said Primrose. It is not Primrose. Like, please don't do that.
Starting point is 00:31:00 It's ecstasy. I'm just kidding. And Kristin said ecstasy. I'm joking. But there was something that I was taking, like I really feel like it was called Primrose, but you know, I'll have to like look this up after. I didn't know you were gonna ask me this, or else I would have already like looked it up. But I will say you have the same doctor as me. Yes.
Starting point is 00:31:20 And... Oh yeah. I just, why didn't I even think to talk about the... Yeah. I mean, just to be able to ask you questions in that realm of things. Yeah. While you have your doctor. So he is very much about whenever you're giving birth,
Starting point is 00:31:31 like putting the oil around and like really trying to help. Okay. Spread. Yeah. Making it as luby as possible so there's no like friction. Yes. And I feel like that is like amazing. Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:43 So... Did you tear, you didn't tear, did you? I did a little bit, but they stitched me up. And I feel like that is like amazing. Okay. Did you tear, you didn't tear, did you? I did a little bit, but they stitched me up. I think I had like one, maybe two stitches. I wish I could remember. It's so crazy because like, I feel like I was just pregnant yesterday, but at the same time I'm like, it feels like it was forever ago.
Starting point is 00:31:59 I mean, Cruz is almost four. Yeah. He'll be four April 12th. Yeah. So it was almost five years ago when you got pregnant. Yeah, so I try to remember a lot of things when Kristen's asking me and I'm just like, oh gosh, I wish I could remember.
Starting point is 00:32:11 She's like, when did you first feel Cruz kick? And I'm like, ooh, I feel like it was. I was like, I'm sure I have it written down somewhere, but I don't know 100%. That's how all my mom's friends are. I think Sheena was the only one who remembered because it was such a traumatic thing for her. She was like, kind of like how I was like the fetal Doppler
Starting point is 00:32:32 and like the baby didn't kick for a really long time. So she was nervous and like we're similar in that like anxious way that you're not. And most of our other friends aren't, but every other friend I've asked that have toddlers are like, I don't remember. Yeah, I'm like, I'm sure I have it written down in a baby book.
Starting point is 00:32:50 Feel like around like five months, six months, like I feel like that's whenever I started feeling him. But yeah, it's just been. Was your placenta in the front or the back? Do you remember? What? You don't remember. I don't remember.
Starting point is 00:33:04 It was just something I never even knew it was a thing until Nia told me that the reason I might not be feeling it as early as her is because if the placenta is in the back, then it's easier to feel the kicks if it's not, because obviously there's an extra layer. So that was the first time I ever even had that thought. And I was like, I text our doctor and I'm like, do you know if, is that in my paperwork somewhere?
Starting point is 00:33:27 And he's like, yours is in the front. I'm like, okay. Yeah, he's like, I know where it is. I'm sure if I texted him right now, he'd be like, I knew where it was. I was like, okay. It was like suddenly I had to learn so many new things about my body and like it's my body.
Starting point is 00:33:41 Like, I should know this shit. Yeah. I just knew that I had a healthy baby boy and everything was like going so well and good other than me being sick 24 seven. Like I didn't have any other complications. I don't remember a lot. I know I asked you this stuff four years ago.
Starting point is 00:33:56 Yeah. Do you remember how long you were in labor for? Oh gosh. Like a long time. But. Like a day. Yeah. Oh yeah. Fuck. And my upper jaw didn't time. But... Like a day. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Fuck.
Starting point is 00:34:06 And my epidural didn't work. But... Tell me. Wait, I don't remember this. Cause I didn't probably know. It didn't matter as much to me. Like they took it out, put it back in a couple of times. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:34:17 Shut your fucking mouth. But... I'm clenching every orifice in my body right now. Listen, everybody else that went before me and after me, like they did not have those issues. Like they had their epidurals and it was like perfect. Mine, I did not feel it and I was in so much pain and I was just like, you know,
Starting point is 00:34:35 so if I ever had another child, I didn't even know if I would go that route just because I'm like... You know how it went for you the first time. But also like, I'm not saying it didn't work at all. I feel like it probably worked a little bit, but I felt like I could have gone up and brushed my own teeth, you know?
Starting point is 00:34:51 It was just crazy. And there's nothing that they did wrong. It's just like my body was not taken to it. And whenever my sister had one of my nephews, I can't remember which one, only half of her body took to the epidural. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to freak. Oh my God. I need to know.
Starting point is 00:35:06 It's like I want to call my sister. Chris's face right now is like freaking out. But only half of her body took to it. So she felt like half the pain. And maybe that's what happened to me. I'm not really sure. But, you know, I was just like, I was like moaning and just like in so much pain. And they brought the peanut ball that goes between your legs.
Starting point is 00:35:25 What's a peanut ball? It's like, you know those balls, exercise balls that you like work out on? So instead of it being a round ball, it's in the shape of a peanut. And they put it between your legs to like help induce labor. And they did that for me because it was taking a long time. And then I started getting back labor and that is. At any point because it's too slow. No, I want to know all this stuff because I want the real real.
Starting point is 00:35:50 I don't want this shit at Google because then when we're ready to like truly talk about like my birth plan or whatever, then I'll have the right questions to ask and the concerns to say, I want to tell him, you know, I'm scared of this and I'm afraid of this. And then he can tell me, you know, he's not going to be like, no, no, that'll over happen.
Starting point is 00:36:07 They could be honest about it. But like, this is what we'll do if. They're going to be honest no matter what. But I want to ask the questions and not be that pussy who's like, nope, I'm fine. No questions here. And then internally, I'm like having a fucking heart attack. Yeah, no, yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:21 The peanut ball, once I brought that out, like it's to induce labor and it's like... I can't even explain. I hate the peanut. Did it ever come to, like, a possibility of doing a C-section or no? Um, it was only, like, if I didn't, like, go into labor within, like, hours. Like, it wasn't like, right now, you're gonna have to have a C-section. It wasn't like that. Were you open to that if they wanted to do it?
Starting point is 00:36:46 I mean, whatever was gonna be safest for the baby, obviously I wanted to have a vaginal birth, like no matter what. Well, I can't say no matter what, but like that was my plan. Yeah, that was my preference. So, but obviously if it came to it, and after all these hours,
Starting point is 00:37:03 like you weren't gonna be like, no, figure it out. No, no, no, I was gonna be like, okay, weren't going to be like, nope, figure it out. No, no, no. I was like, okay, do it. You're like, sorry, he's got to come out that way. Since we have the same doctor, one of the things like whenever I was pushing, they were like, do you want a mirror? And I was like, I was like, what? And they're like, do you want a mirror so that you can see when he's coming out? Like his head and stuff so that you can like, it like motivates you. Oh, to know when to push him.
Starting point is 00:37:27 Yes, or just like, because you see your kid coming out and you're like, I got this, let's go, I got this. So they brought out a mirror and they put it behind the doctor delivering my baby. And I watched him coming out through the mirror and it motivated me so much because I was like, I'm almost there, I'm almost there because you know, you're pushing, you're pushing, you're pushing
Starting point is 00:37:47 and it could be hard, it could be hard, not gonna lie, but seeing his like hair and his head and everything, I was just like, oh my god, and it motivated me so much. I trust you on that. I trust you on the motivation tactics. It actually like really motivated me. But it freaks me the fuck out. I feel like that would freak a lot of people out listening to this, but it's something I would never take back. I was able to watch it, you know?
Starting point is 00:38:14 Like it was beautiful. No, I mean, I feel calm because I trust you and believe you and I'm picturing it, but then when I picture it, I'm like, holy shit. Like a watermelon out of a keyhole. I said to Nia the other day, I was like, I like my vagina small, okay? And she goes, and it will go back.
Starting point is 00:38:31 Yeah, it goes back. This is like forever. Do your kegels and you'll be fine. Squeeze, squeeze. I mean, seriously, here, you guys, I'm here to talk about the shit people don't really talk about, but it is something I'm afraid of. And when I was Googling it, the tearing part, it was like,
Starting point is 00:38:47 sometimes they cut you. Oh, I've had friends that had to like go all the way to their butthole. And yeah, like it happens. Yeah. And I'm like, it's not gonna happen to you. I feel like it would happen to me. I feel like that is what it will be. And I'll be like, it's fine. I feel like my pain tolerance used to be so awesome.
Starting point is 00:39:06 And all of a sudden, I just feel like a giant pussy. No, I promise you, your pain tolerance is higher than it ever has been. Yeah. Like, yes. I can't be that one random woman. Can you imagine if a man had to give birth to a baby? Absolutely not.
Starting point is 00:39:19 Like, no. They couldn't handle it. No. There's absolutely no way. Like, if a guy has a cold, they're like, oh, I'm like, I can have a cold and I could still like do everything for my son and like run around and do all these errands and do this and do that and do that.
Starting point is 00:39:32 And like still feel the exact same pain or cold that you're feeling and get shit done. Yeah, I will say Luke said that about my pregnancy that when, cause he went out of town, what like months ago, and then he has one more little trip he has to take out to Colorado, but he's been very like, he's canceled everything that's like in the last six weeks or eight weeks or whatever of pregnancy.
Starting point is 00:39:55 He's like, I talked to my brother who just had a baby and he's like, I know that you physically, I'll be so big. It'll be really difficult for me to like take care of the dogs or like just do certain things. And he said, which made me really happy, but he's like, he goes, you're very capable of doing all the shit. But physically, I think you're going to be too big to like actually literally be able to like bend over and do things like that. But I have been like, unless I have a day where I'm like, I just want to be tired and lazy and lay in bed and sleep. Other than that, I'm like, I just want to be tired and lazy and lay in bed and sleep.
Starting point is 00:40:25 Other than that, I'm like, no, I want to like do stuff. I mean, Kristen, do you remember whenever I was really pregnant? Yes. And you like, I was like, I have got to get my cuckoo wax. Like, I like, this is like crazy. And you came over and like, we hired somebody to come to the house and you were in the room with me. And that was whenever I was like extremely pregnant. And I was like, if I'm going to
Starting point is 00:40:48 give labor, like there's not going to be anything down there. Like, no, no, no. Absolutely not. Yeah. I get it now. Big time that you can't like starting at like four or five months, like about five months is when I looked down and I was like, I can't see my vagina anymore. Like is this what big beer bellied men feel like when they're like, I can't see my vagina anymore. Like, is this what big beer bellied men feel like when they're like, I can't see my dick? I mean, it's different. Our bellies are pretty. But I literally was like, I can't see my vagina lips.
Starting point is 00:41:12 They don't exist. Yeah. It's like, nope, nope, nope. Somebody come over here and do this. And that was so hard. And it is more painful now. I know how you feel because I've been getting it done. You're a lot more sensitive.
Starting point is 00:41:26 Yeah. But now I'm on, I mean, we started right when I found out I got pregnant. Yeah. I was like, I don't care if I'm hairy all the other time, like in between. And I go to the same girl for the last decade. Shout out Alexis. Bunny feather. But she is like, it's she's like, your hair's so thin and fine now.
Starting point is 00:41:43 But like the skin feels more sensitive from the hormones. So I feel you because- But that was my first time at like getting waxed down there that you were with me whenever I was pregnant. I wanna make an audio track of you getting waxed where you go, Roar! Roar!
Starting point is 00:42:00 That's what you sound like. I'm gonna go find those videos and send them to you. Do you remember being afraid of anything, like whether it was giving birth or whatever, or just like being a new mom? Were you ever like, was there anything off the top of your head that you were like, oh, I'm nervous about this? I mean, like breastfeeding or I know your journey
Starting point is 00:42:22 with breastfeeding, everyone's, all my friends are different. Yeah, so different. Yeah, I mean, there's so much that you worry about. But like what the expectation versus reality? Yeah. I mean, there's so much that you worry about being a new mom. Like, I've always wanted it and I'm like, I felt like I was so prepared. Like my nesting was crazy. I had like way more than I needed. Like that's why I keep telling Kristen, I'm like, okay, girl, ask me if you actually need this product because you're going to end up
Starting point is 00:42:50 with like so much stuff that you never even use. And that's what I did. I would like nested very, very, very hard. Um, I think, yeah, I mean, breastfeeding was difficult for me. I'm nervous about it. I wasn't until just recently. Now I'm really thinking about it. And I'm like, what if I don't know how to do it or the baby doesn't latch or... Well, it's like natural. Like you will naturally like come into it.
Starting point is 00:43:18 Like I didn't know what I was doing. I didn't. Like as much as you read up on things and do different things, like you can never fully prepare yourself for like what is going to be your story because it's going to be so different from everybody else's. Like I breastfed Cruz and then completely dried up at eight weeks without any warning, without any anything. I was just like noticing. I was like, I feel like like there's not as much coming out.
Starting point is 00:43:41 If I try to pump or anything, I can just notice the difference. So I had to switch and I had no pain. A lot of women have like so much pain whenever they dry up. Like I had nothing. Like it was just like, whoop, done. And maybe it's because I have fake boobs. I don't know. I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:43:58 Like there's, you know, a lot of women with fake breasts, breastfeeding are like completely perfect at it. But I think that was hard because it's like every two hours and this and that. And, you know, you're like holding your baby, like being like, oh, my God, are they getting it enough? Like, it's hard. I feel like I didn't realize like how difficult it would be to notice. Because if you have a bottle, you can see how much milk is in there. I've been thinking of that because I'm like, when do I know to be like,
Starting point is 00:44:25 you should stop eating, or will they naturally stop eating because they're full? They'll stop eating when they're full. But like, for me, I was like, is he getting enough? Is he getting enough? Because if he's on my boob, I can't tell how much he's getting.
Starting point is 00:44:41 If it's in a bottle, I can at least see like, oh, he's getting eight ounces or six ounces or four, you know, whatever it is. And you know, we would go to doctor's appointments and they'd be like, no, he's growing, he's healthy. Like you're doing great, you're doing great. But I think that was like one of the hardest parts for me because I was like walking around with these like
Starting point is 00:44:58 suction cups on my tits all day long, like trying to get more milk out. And I was like, what am I doing wrong? You know? And you did all that by yourself without like a night nurse or like anything? Oh yeah. No, yeah, nothing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:08 I was like, man, women, we can do it all. What am I fucking afraid of? I have all my friends like right here to be like, you're fine. Yeah, you are. You're going to be just great. You're going to be amazing, mom. Don't even, don't even. I really want your help with.
Starting point is 00:45:20 Everybody's different. Okay. That's true. Yeah. That's why Googling is so hard. Yes. Don't Google. Something I do want your help with. Because everybody's different, okay? That's true. That's why Googling is so hard. Yes, don't Google. Something I do want your help with. Did you listen to music in the delivery room?
Starting point is 00:45:30 Do you remember? Like, did you have music on? Oh, I don't think I did. No, because I really wanted, I don't know. In the moment I might be like turn that shit off. But I want to have like two playlists. No, I had like the office on, friends on. Like I had all my like shows on.
Starting point is 00:45:46 Like on an iPad? Yeah, on my iPad. I brought like every iPad, every like anything that you could bring in there. Okay. So I had like TV shows going. Smart. And then whenever I was pushing, like I wasn't thinking about that. You weren't thinking about it?
Starting point is 00:45:58 No. Because I was like, do I need like a pump up playlist? No, yeah. I mean... Because I was like, I don't want the song Push It on there, but I'm like, do I need some a pump up playlist? No, yeah. I mean... Do I... Because I was like, I don't want the song Push It on there, but I'm like, do I need some like girl rap? See?
Starting point is 00:46:09 I mean, maybe. Maybe, but like... Because then I was going to make you make me a playlist. Yeah. Hey, I will. I will. I will make you a playlist. But I'm just saying like...
Starting point is 00:46:18 Like your get ready music. But like I don't think I had music on. No, I was just so in the moment and just like, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't have been great for me. It just is like, I just didn't even do that. Most of these questions are coming from like on my pregnancy apps that I use. There's like a birth plan thing on there and it's like,
Starting point is 00:46:36 do you want the lighting like this? Do you want this? And I'm like, I've never thought of any of these things. Yeah, yeah. I mean, I definitely did not think of the lighting. I did not think of the music. I did not think of the music. I just had like iPads out. But then whenever I started like actually going into labor, we turned all the iPads
Starting point is 00:46:51 around to try to get like all of the video of me giving labor. Yeah. Because like that's what I actually wanted. And like I wasn't thinking about anything else or anything else. So I'm just talking about before and after. Like- Because you're there for so long. So you need like distractions.
Starting point is 00:47:08 Yeah. Okay. And yeah, I mean, it was just, it'll be the best day of your life. No matter how much you might struggle or whatever, like it'll be the best day of your life. I love that so much. So I am officially in full on baby prep mode. I am so ready to meet my little one,
Starting point is 00:47:26 but also, I mean, let's be real. The pressure to get everything ready is real. So I found something that's making my life way easier. You guys need to know about magnetic me. I heard about them and instantly knew I had to try it because honestly, who wants to fight with zippers and snaps in the middle of the night? Magnetic closures.
Starting point is 00:47:44 Yes, please. It is so quick, so easy, especially when it's 3 a.m. and all you want is to get your baby dressed without waking them up or yourself. Plus the fabric is ridiculously soft and it feels like a cloud on baby's skin. I'm already thinking about all the time I'm going to save on diaper changes and dressing time,
Starting point is 00:48:01 more time for snuggles, tummy time, or even just a few minutes of extra sleep, which we all know will be priceless once baby is here. And don't even get me started on the designs. They are so cute, so unique, and the prints are created by female artists from all over the world. My baby is going to be the most stylish one on the block, hands down. Not only are the clothes adorable and easy, but the fabric is sustainable. So I feel good about that too. And the best part, the magnets are safe and sewn in securely. So no worries about anything coming undone.
Starting point is 00:48:31 We cannot wait to dress our baby with Magnetic Me and trust me, you need to order these for your baby too. Go to magneticme.com today. New customers get 15% off their order. So do not wait, that's magneticme.com. Okay, let's talk about therapy. You deserve quality care from someone who cares. Okay, things you found the most helpful or things that you found were like a waste of money or like unnecessary. Most helpful for sure, like the SNU.
Starting point is 00:50:20 The SNU you loved. It was amazing. Like that was great for me. Once I stopped breastfeeding the baby Breeza or Brezza, however they, oh, that is, oh my gosh. The formula maker thing? Yes, the formula thing. Like it's almost like a coffee maker.
Starting point is 00:50:34 So I would have one downstairs and upstairs. So smart. Yes. Cause your bedroom, like you don't have to walk down every. A mini fridge in your room. Very smart. Just for like once you are out of the breastfeeding fees or if you still are, but like maybe you're pumping or...
Starting point is 00:50:50 I plan on doing both. I plan on formula feeding as well. If I can breastfeed even, like if that works out for me, then I'll do both and if I can't, then I'll just formula feed. Listen, whatever works for you. Yeah. Oh, that's so smart though. Mini fridge in your room.
Starting point is 00:51:04 The SNOO. And I love that you. Yeah. Mini fridge in your room. This new. And I love that you have a changing station in your living room. Changing station downstairs. I still have it right here right now. Like I'm going to get rid of it soon. But like changing station on like both levels. Like if, well, if your house is a one level. So yeah, put it in your living room because then you can also put like a basket by your bed. Like if you've ever noticed beside my bed, I have a basket that has the diapers, wipes, yes, that crane, like all that stuff. Yeah. Like a little I have on my, in my, in my Amazon cart. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:34 I have like a little kind of like a three tiered like utility cart thing that I can put the stuff in that'll go like next to my bed. Perfect. That's what I remember hearing. I think. Thinking about you doing that. Yeah. Perfect. Okay. my bed. That's what I remember hearing. Thinking about you doing that. Yeah. Perfect. Other than that, like I bought so many shoes when I was pregnant. Like 13
Starting point is 00:51:51 pairs. Oh my God. Yeah. It was that many? Yeah. I remember you had a lot. They fit on a spice rack. Like, yeah. And he still, like we still have a shoe thing. He still has all the shoes. But like when he was that little, he didn't wear that many.
Starting point is 00:52:06 So until they start like walking and stuff, like don't waste your money on a bunch of shoes. I won't do that again. You know? Smart. I mean, there's a couple different things I'm sure I could think of. Oh, find the bottle that works for you. Okay. Don't try to buy a million different bottles.
Starting point is 00:52:21 Once you realize one works, stick with it. Okay. Like no need to like try everything else. Yeah, I have the Babylist glass bottle box that has like all different, like four or five different brands. So it's kind of like to try them out. So I think, yeah, I've heard that. The baby picks, the baby picks the bottle, not you.
Starting point is 00:52:39 Mine was a Avent. Yeah, so I did get some of those glass bottles because most of my friends with babies say they like those. Yes, and like the flow, so much like a breast, you know. Called like nipples. Yes, that was the one that worked for me. And he didn't ever want to go back to a different kind of bottle.
Starting point is 00:52:59 So don't just like waste money on all kinds of other bottles, honestly. I'm like, already her room is like boxes upon boxes upon boxes and her furniture's not here yet. And I'm like, oh my Lord, babies have a lot of stuff. Yes, so much stuff. I mean, I love it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:18 Cause I love stuff, but too much. But I'm like, God, babies really do have a lot of stuff. They do, they do. It's not even like toys or anything like that really. No, it's like the stuff they need to live. Yeah, like a high chair and the stroller and car seat and it's like all the things outside of the furniture. Yes. And for that kind of stuff,
Starting point is 00:53:36 like stroller, car seat, UPPAbaby was my favorite. That's what mine is too. So good. Still use UPPAbaby for cruises. I love how simple yours is. I've seen you put it in and out of the car. And I was like, that's... Yep. And even for his age right now,
Starting point is 00:53:51 like, you know, because it's a forward facing, it's a little bit different. But like being able to clip in to like the iron rods on the seat for the extra safety and stuff. Like it's, I don't know, it's so easy, but it's so good. Love it. So wild. I mean, there's so easy, but it's so good. Love it. So wild. Yeah. I mean, there's going to be a baby here.
Starting point is 00:54:08 I know. I'm sure whenever I'm done with this, I'll think of other stuff. And I'll be like, oh my gosh, this and that. But I mean, those are the top ones that come to mind. Yeah. See, that's all good mom advice. You're the best mama ever. So cheers to you being the best mama ever, the best bestie ever. Oh, wait, I have one more question. Okay. Duh. The fucking trailer popped. Oh my gosh, the trailer.
Starting point is 00:54:31 The valley trailer. I know. Oh my God. Okay. So I watched it a lot of times. Oh my God, I watched it like a hundred times. Like embarrassing amount. No, I totally did.
Starting point is 00:54:39 I'm not going to pretend like I didn't because I could not take it all in. I didn't know it was going to be that long. I'm not gonna pretend like I didn't because I could not take it all in. I didn't know it was gonna be that long. I'm so happy it was. There were things that I was not there for that I saw that I'm like, what happened? Or like I was aware of, but I had never saw it or, you know. And just watching it, the way I do is like, I watched it, took it all in.
Starting point is 00:55:01 Then I watched it like for my stuff. Then I started watching it like, if I were this person, like what does their stuff look like kind of a thing? Yeah. What did you think? Oh my gosh, I thought it was like, it was crazy. I mean, it was a good mix of everything that happens this season, but there's so much more to come.
Starting point is 00:55:20 There is. So much more. There's way more like crazy drama moments and there's also really funny stuff. Yes. Yeah, yeah. It's not all dark. Like we have a lot of funny stuff. It's way better than season one. But I think that they did try to like throw in like funny, like Zack Motobo to me. Oh my God. Luke doing the sort of wasabi and like, you know, just like different things that happen
Starting point is 00:55:41 throughout the whole, y'all's engagement, like that's happy mode. Like they were able to like put in good stuff, mixed in with the bad stuff. And yeah, it was well balanced, but like it's like not even nowhere near what the season's gonna bring. Our buddy Baskin said it's the craziest, or would you say like the best, the craziest season two of any show? He's ever done.
Starting point is 00:56:05 ...that he's ever done. Which like throws me back to VPR and I'm like, damn. But he's right. I mean, from my perspective, he's right. I'm like, it's crazy when I... Like it took me back to last summer and going, oh my God, I forgot about that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:23 Oh my God. There's a lot I'm sure that we aren't even thinking about because when you're filming, you're so into it. So it's just like, it goes by with like the flash of light. You know, it's so fast. And then you watch it back and you're like, oh my gosh, I forgot that even happened to her. You know?
Starting point is 00:56:40 Michelle and Jesse's stuff was like, that I had to watch that a few times. I'm like, holy shit, that was like, he said that. And then she said, I mean, when Michelle says, you're a drunk and he goes, you're a hicker. I'm like, Jesse? She literally just, exactly what she said. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:59 But then the way she like throws the water, it was like perfect. Oh my God. I was like, I didn't know that happened. I don't think. Yeah. Or maybe I do and I don't remember. But I would, yeah, that had my jaw on the floor.
Starting point is 00:57:11 And then Jesse's like, I think Michelle and I are the most sane ones. I'm like, you are not sane, my friend. Jesse, I adore you, but you're crazy. The most sane ones in the house right now. And he was crazy all summer. That was just a fun comedic break, you know? But like, obviously not true.
Starting point is 00:57:27 No. But yeah. There was so much. Wow. It feels like it was forever ago. Forever. Forever ago. It's going to be wild to watch it. I know.
Starting point is 00:57:38 Oh my God. We have like three, four weeks. I feel like it's been a year away forever. And now all of a sudden we're like, oh my God, it's like three, four weeks. Oh. I feel like it's been a year away forever, and now all of a sudden we're like, oh my God, it's like three, four weeks away. Yep. And I don't even know what to... I mean, I know what to expect. It's hard to explain it to you guys listening out there, but just imagine if you can, like
Starting point is 00:57:56 something you lived, like your friends and your family and like crazy shit happened, you know, over last summer, and you've talked about it for so long and you've, you know, you've relived it within your friend group, right? Your family group. And then you kind of stop talking about it because now it's in the past. But then if you then got to rewatch it, you guys would feel, you put yourself in our shoes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:16 And so that's why we keep saying, like, it feels like forever ago. And it's just going to be crazy because some of it's still, I'm not going to say what, but some of it's still very present feeling. Well, you know, the Jack stuff, obviously, because that's pretty public. And some of it's kind of like in the past. And it's always interesting to see how people, the cast will feel, like our friends will feel rewatching it.
Starting point is 00:58:39 Some people, including myself at times in my past, like have gotten like re-upset about things or been like, what the fuck did you say about me? Yeah. In your little interview bite. Yeah. And your interview bite and your after show bite. Like what?
Starting point is 00:58:53 Yeah. But I'm really excited. And I think people are really going to like it. I think so too. I love you. I love you so much. Oh my god, thank you. Everybody, as you know, listen to Brittany's podcast

Starting point is 01:00:03 So growing up, I didn't get a lot of guidance when it came to money. I didn't understand the value of saving or setting goals. And now as I prepare to become a parent, I'm thinking a lot about how I can teach my kids the things I didn't learn early on. Today's episode is sponsored by Acorns Early. Acorns Early is a smart money app and debit card for kids that helps them learn the value of money. Parents can set up chores, choose how much to pay, and when they're done, the money goes straight into their account.
Starting point is 01:00:28 No cash needed. Kids get their own debit card and they can pick from over 35 designs. Pretty cool for kids. As a parent, I can track their spending, set limits, and block the card if needed. Plus, they can set saving schools and use the app's auto-save feature to reach them, all while learning through fun interactive lessons. Even though I'm still pregnant, I can't wait to use Acorns Early with my kid. It just feels like the right tool to help her develop solid money habits early on.
