Welcome back to another episode of Sex Love and What else Matters. Hi, Luke. Hey, honey. Happy 2024. Happy 2024. Well, right. So today, guys, we really want to talk about something that really resonates in the sex category and in the what else matters because in what else matters is super important because it affects
Starting point is 00:00:50 your all-over life. And we want to talk about gut health today because gut health affects your sex life, your mental health, and so much more. Luke, what did you just sort of refer to it before we were doing the podcast? Oh, your're gut brain. Yeah, you're gut brain. So we have an expert because clearly Luke and I are not. And I would like to welcome Tina Anderson from Just Thrive. Hi Tina. Hi guys, how are you? We're great. How are you?
Starting point is 00:01:15 I am so excited to be here talking about God Health with you guys. Me too. I'm not the girl that does my last New Year's resolutions. I like to, but it's more like, what do I want to just have a fresh start on? And I think this is the perfect, perfect time to have you on, because I think whether you're a resolution person or you're not a resolution person,
Starting point is 00:01:35 everybody just likes that fresh restart button, whether it's like a Monday or a brand new year, you know? So. Totally agree. Totally agree. So we want to talk about just thrive. But if we can start with like the origin of just thrive because this is fascinating to me. Yeah, I had such an interesting journey. I started out my career as a trial lawyer, so I was in litigation. I was doing insurance
Starting point is 00:01:58 defense, working crazy hours, you know, arguing motions, and it just was not satisfying to me. And then I started having children, and I was never just was not satisfying to me. And then I started having children and I was never around. I wasn't home. And so I decided this is not what I want to do. I want to be around with my children more. And so I was able to go into a family pharmaceutical business, which I thought was great because I was I definitely got the work-life balance there. It was a part-time role. I was able to walk my kids to school and do all the things that I wanted to do. But I was also able to utilize my legal skills. And I thought this is awesome because I'm in a field that's like delivering life-saving medications to people. And
Starting point is 00:02:33 I felt like I was, you know, making a difference in this world. And then after being in the pharmaceutical industry for a while, I started to really see a lot of the abuses in the industry. I started to see a lot of the over-prescribing of medications. I started to see like there's such an emphasis on treating symptoms and not really a focus on prevention or maintenance of health. And I'm just a more natural person. Anyway, my parents are immigrants from Eastern Europe
Starting point is 00:03:00 and we were always about doing things naturally. So I started to realize this really wasn't my life's work. I read a lot of Wayne Dyer and Norman Midson P.L. my, you are too. Dr. Wayne Dyer, Rest in Paradise. Oh, and my absolute face. Oh, right. I know. It's like, I just, I felt when he passed away like a family member died. It's like I felt such a connection to him. You feel the same way? Absolutely. Yeah. And his message was always like, do your life's work. And my husband and I would say, we're not doing our life's work.
Starting point is 00:03:30 I mean, we saw this over-prescribing of medications with family members. We had one family member that was on one medication. And before you know it, she was on 12 different medications and never getting better. Because the one medication caused stomach issues. And then she took something for the stomach issues. Then it caused a rash and then she took something for the rash and it was just this domino effect. And so my husband, I decided, oh, go ahead. No, I was just saying, right, I can, as you're saying, and I'm literally picturing also what
Starting point is 00:03:55 this does to like tear up your insides, like taking medication upon medication upon medication, especially off to a dozen, which is literally rooting the whole point of what you're trying to help your family member with. Yeah, exactly. And I'm not saying that there is not a place for pharmaceuticals. I mean, obviously emergency type situations or an acute situation, but I feel like there's not a place for them for chronic conditions. When you have a chronic condition, you want to get to the root cause. Like why do you have high blood pressure?
Starting point is 00:04:27 Why do you have diabetes? Why do you have autoimmune issues? Why do you have allergies? And getting to the root cause. And again, maybe a pharmaceutical is great for a temporary period of time. But really, I'm about like getting to the root cause. And so my husband and I decided that we wanted to get
Starting point is 00:04:42 into the natural health space. We started diving into the research, started learning about the gut health, about gut health, and this was shortly after the human microbiome project was launched by the National Institutes of Health, told us more about the gut than we ever knew before. And we realized that a lot of problems with probiotics on the market, a lot of probiotics had difficulty surviving theics on the market. A lot of probiotics had difficulty surviving the journey to the intestines. And so we were fortunate being at the right place at the right time to license these strains from London University. And we got the exclusive rights
Starting point is 00:05:18 to license them. And from there, we launched Just Thrive. And it has been the most gratifying career journey I have ever been on Barnon. And you are like a decade now, is that correct? Yeah, yep, we're a decade old. Congratulations on such a huge success and for having a company with your significant other that is so successful. Absolutely, we know how difficult that can be. I'm sure there were, didn't go off without a hitch. I'm sure there were some, uh, budding heads at times starting a business. Yeah. Yeah, it's funny. People ask me that all the time and you're right. There are a lot of challenges, but there are so many more good times in. It's just, it's fun. We kind of say it's like our fourth child because, you know, we've got our three kids and now we've got another one and it's,
Starting point is 00:06:01 it's mostly been good. I'm very grateful. Look at that. That's awesome. So what's your husband's background? He started the pharmaceutical business almost 30 years ago and he was an entrepreneur and in the pharmaceutical industry also and that was really where he spent most of his career also and he just got disgusted by the industry as well. Okay. That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:06:22 That's how you were able to do this. I'm sure because he had so much knowledge in it and you came from publication. I mean, it sounds like a perfect pair to start a business. Really? Yeah, he was the one that actually was it found these strains, which was, you know, I mean, that's what made this so different because this is not like you, if you want to start a supplement company, you can't just go buy these strains. I mean, there's a very, you know, we got the exclusive rights to them. It's a very unique proprietary formulation. That is just so wild. So, I wanted to also talk about the research biologists that you guys work with. Obviously, I've like, I got so fascinated
Starting point is 00:06:56 when I found out we got to interview you and I was like, reading all about you and your husband Billy, and then, you know, the scientist that works with you guys, which kind of goes along with what you're saying about these specific strains. So how did that partnership start and flourish? Because I'm just trying to think like, wow, this is like a life changing shark tank type thing.
Starting point is 00:07:18 It's so exciting. But kind of what Luke was just asking me, it's like how do you just not that, guys, we're not I'm not saying everyone can just jump into something like this. This is very like niche and amazing for Tina and Billy and family, but I do wonder like how did you make like that relationship and how did you kind of go from, here's what we've done, this is our idea, we want to better the world this way, like this is our project, right?
Starting point is 00:07:43 And how did you kind of like make it happen? What was like that first step like in speaking to the scientist in blah, blah, blah? Yeah, well, it was actually Billy who was seen a naturopathic doctor and they became good friends and they started to want to do something in the natural space that was really unique and different.
Starting point is 00:08:01 And so his naturopathic doctor had the relationship with the scientists and the microbiologist doctor had the relationship with the scientists and the microbiologist who had the relationship with the scientists from London University. So I always say to people like, I feel like we try to have really good energy. You know, I'm, we're very much about energy and putting out good into the world and meditating and praying and putting all, and I have a saying that says everything works out perfectly for me. And that doesn't mean people think like that's so bold for me to say that, but it's not that everything works out perfectly as I want it to.
Starting point is 00:08:31 It's that everything works out perfectly for me at that right time. And you know, I know you guys have gone through a really hard time recently and I'm sorry for everything that you've gone through, but I just have always, any hard things that I've gone through in life. it's like I just always believe that they work out perfectly for me and that there is a plan out there. Yes, I agree with you. Yeah, and I think that's really how this all happened. People say luck, and I think sometimes, yeah, I mean, I could say there's a little bit
Starting point is 00:08:58 of luck, but luck comes to people A that are prepared. You've got to be prepared for opportunities that are presented to you, that themselves. And so, and I think it's also like the energy that we put out to the world. that are prepared, you know, you've got to be prepared for opportunities that are presented to you, you've got to themselves. And so, and I think it's also like the energy that we put out to the world. And I think that has been a contributing factor. I like, I'm literally writing this down. Luck comes to people who are prepared.
Starting point is 00:09:15 Luck is, prepared in this meeting opportunity. It's, yeah. Yeah, absolutely. Thank you guys. You little goobers over here. I like feel better about my new year. That's the entrepreneurial mind in the way that separates entrepreneurs,
Starting point is 00:09:27 the ones that actually take action on it. And people have, everyone's got ideas, right? They're dime a dozen. But to follow through on it is really what sets people apart. Yeah, I think that's incredible. I love the faith, just knowing that you're gonna come out the other side.
Starting point is 00:09:40 It's so good for your mental health. Yeah, you just got to believe that, yeah, I agree. And then the other thing that really helped me along the way was just, there's that theater or roseville quote, which I will botch, but it's about putting yourself in the arena and that, you know, like, you know, what I'm talking about, okay, yeah. It's a brain brown quote that uses this quote all the time. I was like, you're my spirit sister right now.
Starting point is 00:10:00 Yeah, I know, I know. But it's like, I just, I remember thinking, you know, we were older entrepreneurs. I mean, we do this when our kids, I remember thinking, we were older entrepreneurs. I mean, we did this when our kids were in high school, our oldest was in high school. And my youngest was in middle school. And I'm like, I'm like, you know what, I could fail. We could fall flat on our face.
Starting point is 00:10:14 And we kind of took our life savings, put this in, right before our kids were going to college, we could fail. But you know what, we got ourselves in the arena. And that's all I would encourage people to is put yourself in the arena and take a shot at it. I don't mean like, you know, take a huge risk on your life. I mean, we obviously were older, so we had some savings and we did things, but we were responsible about it. And we didn't go crazy. But that also has helped us have success in
Starting point is 00:10:36 the business because we always put everything back into the business, into research, and to all of that kind of stuff. So I love it. So can you go in more detail about the importance of gut health and how it works symbiotically to make you a happier, calmer, less stressful person? Yeah, because I think a lot of people don't understand, don't know a lot about this. I think it's something that is really important for, I think about the demographic of our listeners.
Starting point is 00:11:03 I think there are a lot of things out there on social media and the TikTok and the blah, blah, blah, blah. Where it's like take this, do that. This is the trend. This is whatever, but people are doing, taking things or doing things without really knowing much about like probiotics and gut health. I think a lot of people are aware of like yogurt.
Starting point is 00:11:21 Okay, great. Well, we can start with that, sure guys. But I do think it's really important because it does fascinate me how Luke referred to it as like the gut brain, as you also referred to it, you know, the gut brain, but how it does affect what I said in the beginning, like things you would never think about,
Starting point is 00:11:38 like your sex drive, like your mental health, like your sleep, like your sleep health. I mean, that is all just so fascinating between, I don't think people understand that. Yeah, so I love starting exactly where you want me to about talking about the overall importance of God health because it is where you start with health. And you're right, there are so many trends on TikTok
Starting point is 00:11:58 and some of them are super legitimate to be honest with you. You know, I mean, they're good trends and there was bringing awareness to certain supplements or certain nutrients that are really helpful, but none of those nutrients will even be absorbed if your gut is inflamed at all. And unfortunately, most of us are walking around with inflamed guts. I mean, the world we live in. So we know most of us think about gut health as like gas or bloating, diarrhea, constipation. And yes, those are definitely, if you have any of those symptoms, like it's not, you should not have gas or bloating. You shouldn't have diarrhea or constipation.
Starting point is 00:12:30 And so people know, well, that means I have some gut imbalance going on. So yes, but when you have a skin rash, when you have eczema, when you have psoriasis, nobody would ever think that had started with the gut. And it absolutely does. Or acne totally stems from your gut health. Even more so like allergies, autoimmune diseases,
Starting point is 00:12:49 our stemming from our gut health. Then when we talk about anxiety, depression, all of those types of issues, we call it the second brain. Some people call the gut the first brain, but there's a lot of communication going on between the gut and the brain. So, I mean, it's really, it is foundational when you start talking about your health
Starting point is 00:13:08 that you focus on your gut health. And it's not, unfortunately, it's not just taking yogurt. I'm glad that people think of yogurt because it means they're know that a probiotic isn't right. Right. Right. There are so many myths out there about probiotics, and it's, it's been an uphill battle for us, but it's one we're continuing to climb, and it's been worth it because it's making changes in people's lives. But I say with everyone, you have to focus on your gut health. And the other important thing that we have to remember is that this world we're living in is so disruptive to our gut health. So we now know that virtually all disease, not all non-communicable diseases, are stemming
Starting point is 00:13:44 from an imbalance, some type of imbalance in our gut. And yet, we live in this world that is constantly like offending our gut. It's attacking our gut. We know antibiotics, not just antibiotics we take, but antibiotics that are found in our animal products. Very disruptive to our gut, because they're killing the bad bacteria, which we want it to, but they're also killing the good bacteria that we need.
Starting point is 00:14:05 We know glyphosate, which is the active ingredient in Roundup. Roundup is sprayed all over our produce, very detrimental to our gut. In fact, glyphosate only targets the beneficial bacteria. So it's only killing the good bacteria in our gut, which is horrible. Stress is a huge offender to our gut health. I'm offended by stress all the time. I could not agree more. I know. Well, we all more. I know. I know. Well, we all are. I know. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:14:29 It is true, though. I remember my therapist asking me so many times, like, where do you feel it? Because some people feel like they're tested, or whatever. And I'm like, it's always my stomach. That's why they call it stress stomach. I say it all the time.
Starting point is 00:14:41 I'm like, oh, stomach ache. What is it? It's stress stomach. That's where I feel it. It's. That's because there's that gut brain connection. I mean, it's so important. That's why I tell people at one of the things I suggest
Starting point is 00:14:52 to do when you have gut imbalance is to like meditate or find calm down and people think that's so crazy. Like, why would that help my gut? But it absolutely does because there's this gut brain connection, the brain is talking to the gut and the gut is talking to the brain. It's very important that that communication is good and it's improved. You want to take care of your gut health. We know that we get butterflies in our stomach when we're excited.
Starting point is 00:15:16 Everybody knows that. Then they think it's weird that there's this gut brain connection, but that's exactly what's happening. It's the brain talking to the gut or you're nervous and stomach hurts you or your nervous and you have to go to the bathroom. That's your brain talking to your gut. So we can't dismiss that connection. No, we can't. No, we can't at all. I'm curious, where does alcohol rank in the gut disruptors? Yeah. Oh, I hate to be the bear of bad news, but it's pretty bad. It's real bad. I figured it was. I'm just but it's pretty bad. It's real bad. I figured it was.
Starting point is 00:15:45 I'm just curious, like how. Again, I'm not like, oh, we can't ever do this or we can't. It's just like any moderation. Obviously, antibiotics are even worse of a offender. They're probably one of the worst offenders. No, antibiotics save lives, and I'm not expecting someone to not take an antibiotic if they need to. They just say they're over prescribed.
Starting point is 00:16:04 We know that people want them when they have a viral infection. They're not going to do anything for you when you have viral infections. Exactly. So that just goes right back to what you were saying in the very beginning, though, about if there is something acute, if there's something, so necessary, but just for whatever, I agree if you people
Starting point is 00:16:20 are just taking too many things. I used to be one of those people. I was like, oh, let me take this. But then I have to take that to overcompensate for what that thing's doing when I could, at the time, was not living like a much more natural life, which is what I want to do now. To be honest, when I was pregnant
Starting point is 00:16:36 is when I felt the best, because I wasn't taking anything except for some vitamins that I had to take. And currently, I'm not pregnant. So I'm like, okay, well, I don't need to go back to taking all these random things that I was taking before. They were random, but yes. But you know what, not random. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:16:54 I just don't need to be taking pills just for pills because that's just what I thought I had to do. I'd rather be going this more natural route and kind of go to the root of my problems rather than trying to fix what's wrong later. You know what I mean? Right.
Starting point is 00:17:08 So that's why I'm so curious about all of this. You're a bit about hypercon to racquetimes. Yes I am. Yeah. Well yeah, and that's where I get so passionate about that. Like when we have to remember that our bodies are beautifully designed to heal themselves. You know, they are resilient bodies. Our bodies are beautifully designed to heal themselves. You know, they are resilient bodies. Our bodies are resilient.
Starting point is 00:17:26 And that's our goal is to make ourselves more resilient when we're faced with some type of virus or pathogen or whatever it may be. So that's always been my goal is just to make my body as resilient as possible so that we're all going to be faced with things. But the more things that we take, you know, people who are, you know, if you have a fever, for example, you've got a virus, you're fighting a virus, your fever is your body's way to protect itself. And it makes you very lethargic and tired so that you are forced to rest.
Starting point is 00:17:53 But what we do as a society is like take motor and or take, you know, Tylenol to bring our fever down that gives us the energy to do stuff. And then you wonder why your virus lasts so long. And it's, you know, it's like we need to rest our bodies. Again, if it's a dangerously high fever, of course you take something to bring it down. But how about resting our bodies and doing what's natural and taking some tea and honey and doing things like that
Starting point is 00:18:15 that might be more effective, really, and cut down the duration of an illness? No, I totally, I'm with you on this. So what I kind of want, if you can help explain, not only to us, but to the listeners, I think people that aren't super familiar, maybe in like sort of Leibin's terms. So we kind of identified like a lot of the problems, right?
Starting point is 00:18:36 Because you obviously, it just thrived. You guys have different probiotics, and you have some that are a little more specific for like sleep or mood, even for pets, which I love that so much. Because I have two dogs and one of them has had gut issues a lot of his life. He's a rescue. So we've identified this problem. So can you sort of explain to everybody in like more simple terms what the these probiotics like do in order to fix the issue? If I worded that it all correctly.
Starting point is 00:19:05 Yes, that's perfect. That's perfect. So our probiotics are completely a different category of probiotics. They're called spore-based probiotics. And the reason that's important is they have this endospore shell around themselves that we did not engineer.
Starting point is 00:19:19 This is the way these strains are found in nature. They have this, they call it endospore shell around itself. And that allows it to get into the intestines alive. Why that's important is that the overwhelming majority of probiotics that you're going to find on the market out there die by the time they get to the intestines. We have this the stomach acid. In order to get to the intestines it has to go through the stomach. In this stomach it's very acidic it's known as the gastric barrier. So most probiotics that people are buying are dying.
Starting point is 00:19:47 You're getting dead bacteria. That's the biggest difference between the spores and what you're gonna find on the market. Is their ability to survive. Then to take it a step further, once our strains get to the intestines, they take that shell off and that's when they become alive. And that's what they stay there for about 21 to 28 days where
Starting point is 00:20:05 they're working throughout the intestinal tract making a true change in the intestines. Whereas other probiotics, let's say some of them actually did get through alive. Let's just say they did. They would just go through and they would leave like similar to food like in the same day. Our stay there for about 21 to 28 days. And so I love to use an garden analogy when I'm trying to explain this because if you envision a garden, and the garden's been stepped on and trampled on
Starting point is 00:20:29 and the weeds are growing all over the garden, and you compare that to your intestines, and the intestines you have, good bacteria, or good plants, and then you have pathogenic bacteria, or the weeds in the garden. So ours go in there, they attach to the soil in the garden, so they attach to the intestinal cell wall. They have the ability to help get rid of the weeds in the garden. So ours go in there, they attach to the soil in the garden, so they attach to the intestinal cell wall. They have the ability to help get rid of the weeds in the garden. They have the ability to get rid of some of the pathogen, the overgrowth of pathogenic bacteria in our
Starting point is 00:20:54 gut, and then they have the ability to take those plants that have been stepped out and trampled on and help bring them back to life. So they're going into our intestines and helping bring our own bacteria flourish. And so this is how we create diversity in the gut and this beautiful lush garden in their gut. And why it's so different than any other probiotic in the market because it's literally making a true change in the garden and why we've seen such profound results with the product. And how long so for like somebody that's about like like someone's, you guys should all be into this, by the way, because that also is the best way you could have explained it.
Starting point is 00:21:28 Like picture perfect, completely clear to me. I just pictured the little good probiotic, like going down there and like taking it's like shield off and like it's helmet off and being like, now I'm here to stay for a month, ladies, you know what I mean? Yeah, so yeah, that made perfect sense to me. How long does it take to kind of like start feeling the change, seeing the change?
Starting point is 00:21:50 Once somebody wants to like be on board with us with this. Yeah, so it's obviously different, depending on what you're dealing with. Sometimes people will see a difference within a day or two or some people it takes a couple months. But what we always say is that, like for diarrhea for some reason, lose stools and we find people,
Starting point is 00:22:09 find things and blow, we see it a little bit sooner, and usually like a week or two. But like constipation or people of trouble going in the bathroom, maybe able to take a couple months. But why I always recommend that you stand for at least three months,
Starting point is 00:22:22 and this is really, really important, is that you start to see all the other benefits that happen. You know, we always joke in this pharmaceutical industry. It's like side effects include bloody stools, suicidal thoughts, all these horrible things. But like in our case, what we find is somebody will come to our product because they've had some like gas or bloating and they start saying like, oh my god, I'm like a sleeping better.
Starting point is 00:22:44 I have more energy. Or, you know, another one is weight management. We see that all the time. People, because when you are starting to rebalance your gut bacteria, I mean, it's your gut bacteria that's dictating if you're one of those people that looks at a cupcake and gains 10 pounds or eats the cupcake and doesn't gain anything.
Starting point is 00:23:00 It's like, it's your gut bacteria that's deciding that and making that decision. So, you know, for weight management, we've seen success, we've seen people with sleep issues that have helped them because your gut is talking to your brain. And we have to remember, too, this is really important. Almost all of our neurotransmitters are actually
Starting point is 00:23:20 produced in our gut. So serotonin, which is our happy hormone, 90% of our serotonin, our happy hormone, is produced in our gut. So serotonin, which is our happy hormone, 90% of our serotonin are happy hormone is produced in our gut, not in our brain, but in our gut. That is really hard for people to wrap their heads around. And so we see people saying like, I'm happier, I have more energy, or GABA is another one. It's our calming hormone. GABA is produced in our gut. So people feel better sense of calm with it too. So it's all of these, you start to see all these incredible benefits when you start to take care of your gut and that's
Starting point is 00:23:50 what's so exciting and all the other nutrients that you're taking, all the other vitamin C, vitamin D, whatever it is that you feel that you want to take are going to be absorbed that much better when your gut is healthy. Adi. Ladies, did you know that one of the most common complaints from women about their sexual health is a frustrating low libido? Our sex drives can decline, but it's also treatable. So have you seen or heard of this having an effect helping people like get off of antidepressants? Wanting to move their life forward in that way. So they're not essentially attached to an antidepressant or SSRI on a daily basis. Yeah, well, we always say, our microbiologist speaks
Starting point is 00:25:53 about this to physicians all the time, is that a lot of psychiatrists and psychologists have had their hands tied for years because they have been prescribing SSRIs, anti-anxiety meds, and really with not a lot of success. There are some people that have a little bit of success, but you don't see this huge way. I mean, we know in this world now, I mean, it's an epidemic of people who are dealing with
Starting point is 00:26:14 anxiety and depression, and they're not really having much success with SSRIs. And what the hypothesis is that it's because we've been focusing on the brain, and what we really need to be doing is focus on the gut. And we can never say for FDA reasons that people could start taking this and be off of any medication. I always recommend that you work with your doctor, but I even more so recommend that you take control of your own health. This is something I am also very passionate about and why we invest in our blog and we have researchers that are doing our blog post because we want people
Starting point is 00:26:49 to be empowered so that you could go and ask your questions to your doctor. But empower yourself and know, you know, am I really feeling better? Is this just what the doctor told me to go on? But you know, start focusing on your gut health and start seeing some of the changes and start doing your own research and listening to podcasts like yours and learning about how you could take control of your health. You be the CEO of your health. We're so used to asking our doctor knows best. Unfortunately, doctors are amazing human beings.
Starting point is 00:27:20 They are so smart, but they are being educated by big pharma. You know, medical schools are being funded by big pharma. You know, it's just, it's the way it is. And so I just, you know, recommend that people take control of their health and start to understand and power yourself when you go into the doctor. I couldn't agree more. So my dad is a physician and he was the last person to take anybody to the hospital, which is funny. Growing up, he'd be like, oh, you're fine.
Starting point is 00:27:46 It'll be fine. You know, rubs and dirt and it kind of guy. He's like, yeah. Yes, dirt is your friend, absolutely. I always say like bacteria needs a PR campaign, because bacteria, less than 1% of bacteria is actually harmful. It's really, you know, most of our bacteria is not just not harmful. It's actually critical to our overall health.
Starting point is 00:28:05 But good for your dad, I love that. Yeah, I think he's a bit of an oddball, I guess, in that community. He's told me, you know, with the pharmaceutical reps and everybody trying to push the next thing, like, oh, that's gonna have this effect. So you want this to treat that. These are typically paired together.
Starting point is 00:28:19 He is definitely one to kind of push back and be like, so you need to look at your life and if this is something, the direction you wanna go with it, but this is an option. And I think that's really cool. He's a hero, really, he's a hero because you don't see that often enough. Truth.
Starting point is 00:28:36 He's pretty cool, guys. Yeah. I think that is very fascinating, Luke, about talking about Thasasari's and the impressive, and the impressive and stuff. I feel like it's like a challenge for me, where I'm like, hmm, I've been on an Asasari for very, I mean, I'm very honest and open about it for like two years,
Starting point is 00:28:55 but I'm like, but I have got a shoes. I've had gastritis before. I have like a very acidic stomach, like I was saying like my stress stomach and I'm like, maybe this would all change Maybe this will all change since we just started taking these But I think this is that's really fascinating. Well, yeah, like there's no it's not a coincidence that You have got issues and you have anxiety or depression or whatever, right?
Starting point is 00:29:18 You know, it's it's not a coincidence and it makes sense It's not exactly and you know that the other thing is what we, the studies that we've done is we know that just the fact that you have a healthy gut, you're going to start in producing these neurotransmitters, your neurotransmitters are going to be better. There's going to be all good things that come from this. But we also developed a product that is really excited that's called a psychopiotic. So everything we've been talking about has been our probiotic. Our probiotic is foundational.
Starting point is 00:29:48 I can't imagine anybody that shouldn't be on the product. Of course, what we say, check with your doctor, but I mean most doctors would never have a problem with a probiotic, but the probiotic is foundational. But we also just about a year and a half ago launched a game-changing product that literally flew off the shelves, unfortunately, because it's so relative, but it's called just calm. And that's a psychobiotic. And oh, you got, say Luke showing it to us. It's, this psychobiotic is really, really awesome
Starting point is 00:30:13 because it was been extensively researched showing that it actually lowers your perception of stress. It actually lowers your cortisol. So it's bringing down cortisol levels. When you have excess cortisol, it dumps into your gut. And then it starts causing your gut to be leaky. And that could be a whole other episode we talk about leaky gut. But we don't want cortisol in the gut.
Starting point is 00:30:35 So we know that this psychopiotic strain has shown to actually change our brainwave activity. So bringing us more into that theta wave, like that flow state that we'd like to get into when we're trying to meditate. But we've had really great success with that product as well. So we always feel like the probiotic is helping with the leakiness of the gut and it's allowing us not to have that inflammatory response go to your brain because that's one source of anxiety, depression, and other neurodegenerative issues. And the other is external stressors. So we're not going to get away from external stressors.
Starting point is 00:31:10 We are stressed on a daily basis. And we have this fight or flight response that I'm sure you've heard people talk about. And the fight or flight response was, it's a protective mechanism that we evolved that way. Because if we are being chased by a saber- tiger, we would want to run and we want to have our fighter flight response at its highest so we could run as fast as we could. The problem is in this day and age, we are never getting out of our fighter flight response. We are constantly, you know, we get a tweet, we get cut off in traffic, you're in a fight
Starting point is 00:31:41 with a loved one, you know, something happens and it's like we are in this fight or flight state all the time and we are having such a difficult time getting down from it. And that's what's great about the just calm product is that it's helping with that perception of stress and just being able to handle stress better. And this, there, this has been extensively studied too. Obviously, everything we do is based on research. We have double- blind human clinical trials, which is unheard of in the supplement space.
Starting point is 00:32:07 So it's been fun to find products that are actually helping people. I love it. I can feel the passion too. It makes me so happy. Or I'm like, you're just trying to better everyone, everything because of what, where the space you had worked in,
Starting point is 00:32:20 what you had seen. And I think that passion really really really like shows through. Yeah, and that helps you sleep at night too. Thank you. Yeah. Thank you. Well, you know, I always say, my competitor is not other probiotics. I always am happy that somebody's even looking and talking about a probiotic. I mean, go ahead. Eventually, they'll come to ours because they'll learn more and they'll realize that this is one that's going to actually get to work. My competitor is Big Pharma. I just want people to start looking at options of getting off of their chronic pharmaceuticals that they're on. That really, to me, is more of my competitor.
Starting point is 00:32:55 Then are you also an advocate of acupuncture, chiropractic, more of that type of holistic health? Absolutely. Oh my gosh. Absolutely. And that's when I say, even with gut health, I mean, our probiotic is a really strong tool in your toolbox, but it's just one tool. I always try to, AccuPuncture is great for stress. I mean, chiropractic treatment is great. I mean, I do some deep breathing things. Whatever it is, I'm a huge fan of walking in nature,
Starting point is 00:33:24 but all types of holistic things. And in eating clean, you know, really trying to eat organic grass fed, eating a diverse group of foods too, you know, this is something that people think that, oh, we're so like we're either carnivore, we're being in, we're paleo, whatever it is that we are. But really, I'm more of a fan of eating a diverse group of foods and eating lots of roots and tubers and different vegetables. And I'm very prescriptive about that. I go to the grocery store and try to find something that I haven't eaten in a while or I've
Starting point is 00:33:52 never tried before. I'm eating the apnecrosary stores just to... So there's lots of different tools in the toolbox, but those you mentioned are amazing. I've got another question about gluten specifically. I know there's been kind of a wave of people having this gluten intolerance and it's kind of a fad that people are like, I don't eat bread because of gluten. Is that have a bad rap?
Starting point is 00:34:11 Like, is it true or more of a myth as far as gut health goes? Yeah, well, again, I'm the bear of bad news, but that gluten is kind of not a fad. Gluten is bad for us. It's bad for all of us. Even, you know, people will be like, well, I have gluten sensitivities. If I gluten, my stomach does something, or people who are celiac who have life threatening issues, if they have gluten.
Starting point is 00:34:34 But the reality is that every one of us is actually intolerant to gluten. Because when we have gluten, it starts hitting away at the gut lining. It starts eating away at our gut lining and making our gut be permeable. And we don't want, we want that gut to be really strong. So toxins don't seep into our bloodstream
Starting point is 00:34:53 and we don't get leaky gut. So really gluten is kind of bad. And I mean, I don't have intolerance to gluten whatsoever. And so I do eat gluten once in a while. And I know I shouldn't, but I do it. But we actually have a gluten away product, which was meant for the accidental exposure to gluten. It has the digestive enzymes that actually help break down the gluten. But I mean, again, that's probably a whole other podcast to talk about that, but it's really cool.
Starting point is 00:35:18 It's a really, really cool product because I try to take it if I am, you shouldn't take it because you're cheating. It's meant to be taken for those people who have gluten and sensitivities to watch out for the accidental exposure to gluten. So, but yeah, gluten's not good for any of us. Yeah, that makes sense, but it makes something so much better like pizza. I know. Well, so yeah, a lot of things that are bad for us make us feel happy in the moment, but we certainly don't feel happy, you know, later on to the next day.
Starting point is 00:35:47 Yeah, that's fair, I guess. Pizza and beer feels great in the moment, but you're, you're going to be wishing you'd taken it a little easier. I think later on that night, or you're going to have to deal with my gas back to the gut, back to the gut. I have not only is your gut affecting you. Now your gut is affecting me. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:36:07 But I mean, we also have to give ourselves grace in these situations. I mean, you know, we can't, nobody's perfect. I mean, I do so much research on this, but I mean, I believe me, I'm not perfect, but I do take care of my gut as much as possible. Yeah, and that's the thing, guys. Like, I think with everything we ever talk about in here too,
Starting point is 00:36:26 it's like, we're not saying you can't ever have alcohol again. You can't ever have pizza again if you want to feel good. You can't ever, ever, ever. There's no never and forever here, but it's just like, don't you want to hit that reason? And don't you want to, like, from here on out, from today on out, from tomorrow morning on out, you want to be the healthiest best version of yourself because what we're telling you is like, I'll just start in one
Starting point is 00:36:50 little spot in your body, start in one spot in your body, start with your gut, and now watch things. Watch this have a ripple effect is essentially what we're saying, what I've been learning from you, what I've learned from just thrive is this is literally going to be a ripple effect on your mental health, your sleep, your sex drive. So I want to talk about sex drive, which obviously we know, Luke and I have talked to a lot of like sexologists or sex therapists that with better sleep, with better health, obviously better sex drive. So with a probiotic that will be affecting all
Starting point is 00:37:23 of these things and making certain things about your body better, then I would assume immediately, well, that's gonna be a positive on your sex drive and your sex life. Yeah, and your gut microbiome dictates your vaginal microbiome. So, you know, women who have issues are like yeast, chronic yeast infections,
Starting point is 00:37:40 or things like that. It's like it's our gut microbiome that's dictating that vaginal microbiome. So, but it's all of those things that you talk about's like it's our gut microbiome that's dictating that vaginal microbiome. But it's all of those things that you talk about, like when you have more energy and if you're going to the bathroom or regularly, you're getting rid of toxins, so you have more energy, your hormones are being produced in your gut. So if you, you know, like for your estrogen levels and things like that, like we want to
Starting point is 00:37:59 make sure that we're taking care of our gut to take care of our sex drive and all of the other things associated with that, including the energy and, you know, being in a better mood and not being crabby and snippy and all those things. So there really is a connection with that. And the other thing that's also important to note is when you're pregnant. I mean, there is no better time to take care of your gut than before and while you're pregnant. Because it is your, the mother's microbiome which the microbiome is basically like the bacteria that's in your gut is that is when your child
Starting point is 00:38:31 is being inoculated with their microbiome is through vaginal childbirth or close skin to skin contact so the best gift you could give your child is a healthy microbiome for the mom to have a healthy microbiome so I mean it is so important for a pregnant mom to be taken care of their microbiome. I cannot overstate that. Okay. So that I actually wasn't sure about that. So you can take a probiotic when you're pregnant. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:57 I mean, I, of course, I have to prep a, prep us everything by saying that you have to ask your doctor, which again, I can't imagine. We know, we have to say the same thing on this podcast. I feel like for everything too, even when I'm talking about my experience with the short pregnancy, we had it like, of course, you guys ask your doctor, I'm not your doctor. However, we're telling you our experience with things.
Starting point is 00:39:18 But that's such a obviously a new world for me and for Luke for us. And I wasn't sure about that, because there are things I like to Google and then there are things that I don't want to Google because then you're going to get like, God knows where your information is coming from. So yeah, can you talk to us a little bit about that? Like, but pre-pregnancy and then during pregnancy and post-pregnancy? Yes, I mean, for lots of reasons because the healthier your microbiome is, the healthier your child's microbiome is going to be.
Starting point is 00:39:46 And you've seen this with people who are kids that are born through C-section. Not that, gosh, some people have to, some children have to be born through C-section because saving the mother's life and all those types of things. But you want to do what you can to have a vaginal childbirth because that's when you're inoculated. The baby's inoculated with their gut microbiome. And also when your, if a baby is born via C-section, I would cause like, you have the doctor cause to cause and like swab the vaginal microbiome and put it on the baby so the baby's getting those microbes. But it's your, as a mother, you're passing it on to your child.
Starting point is 00:40:21 So I would definitely ask your doctor if it's okay to take a probiotic while you're pregnant, which again, I can't imagine a doctor saying that it wouldn't be okay, but then I would of course recommend taking this four-base probiotics, like we have that we work with because they literally are making a true change in your gut microbiome.
Starting point is 00:40:39 So yeah, I can't think of a category more than, you know, kids and pregnant moms to be taking this because kids now are just, they've got more allergies that I know when I was a kid, I know. A long, long, long time ago, I knew one classmate that had a peanut allergy from kindergarten through high school. And now it's like peanut free tables. You can't go to a restaurant with them,
Starting point is 00:41:00 ask you without them asking you if you have allergies. So I would definitely say, have to, as pregnant moms, we have to take care of our microbiome to pass it on to our children. That is so fascinating. I was completely just learning something brand new. Yeah, I had no idea about that with a vaginal versus C-section birth. I did not know anything about that. So that's all good to learn.
Starting point is 00:41:22 So do you know, has there been any research done for like male benefits, if say you don't have the strongest swimmers, is there any way that'd be related to got health? Like I think just overall health, trying to be a holistic person, if someone is in better health, they're going to have to be functioning better in all ways, right? Exactly. We have not done any research specifically to that, but we know that yeah, it's like, like we said, there, it's hard to find anything that's not associated with an imbalance in our gut.
Starting point is 00:41:46 So it's always great for the male and the female to be taking care of their gut health. And it's, I don't know what it is, but it's like women are always like so much more prone to taking care of their health. I think that trend is not changing, but I think I'm seeing men being way more into their health, which is so encouraging. But I do think that we need to be, men need to be taking care of the health exact same way because they're dealing with the same type of issues.
Starting point is 00:42:11 We are, and that's why we die first. If we don't take care of our health. Yeah, we don't. And the other big thing I just wanna mention is that when we talk about probiotics and this is one thing I just wanna make people wear of, there are so many myths out there with probiotics And it's like it drives me crazy and I just want to mention them because one of them is that debunk
Starting point is 00:42:30 Yeah, debunk like so many people even doctors will say if you take a probiotic make sure you take one that's in the refrigerator And that is such a method It's it's where the stem from is that we know remember when we were talking about that journey It needs to be a live microorganism So they think oh well if it's live in the refrigerator, that means it'll be right here. Right. And even with stand-the-room temperature of the store shelf, how in the world would it ever
Starting point is 00:42:55 survive your body temperature, which is 98.6? Yeah, much less the stomach acid. So most of those probiotics are dying before they ever. So don't fall into that trap. Because as soon as you started talking about it, I'm like picturing it and going, how did we not all just get this before? Like kind of just not make perfect sense. It must be kept in this refrigerator temperature,
Starting point is 00:43:17 but then it's gonna survive coming out and going through a complete like temperature change so drastically. And then into your stomach acid, come on now. No guys, it needs the little helmet and the little shell and the shield backpack. And then take all the stuff off when it gets down there. And then it's going to last for, listen, I am, I am so beyond on board. Like it's much more crystal clear. I was already
Starting point is 00:43:40 on board, but it's like the details are more crystal clear to me now. The way that you've like explained it in the terms that I needed to be explained. Yeah and like the other big one that's always out there is like you need to take one that has 50 billion CFUs. Right. CFUs, how well they'll say colony forming units and you know or like a hundred billion. There's some out there that are 250 billion and with like 15 different strains and that there's absolutely
Starting point is 00:44:05 no research behind more is better. That is that is literally like America more is better. Yes, marketing, it's just a marketing tool. Yes, it is and they know these companies know that they're not surviving so they're putting all these access numbers in and they're not making a difference. We have a study on our strains that showed after two and a half weeks, we only have three billion CFUs in our product. After two and a half weeks, we only have three billion CFUs in our product. After two and a half weeks, it showed a 30% favorable shift in the gut. This is like, profound, I don't know of any other probiotic that has a study showing that after two and a half weeks, it showed a 30% favorable shift. But this was just with three billion CFUs.
Starting point is 00:44:38 I mean, and you know, these products that have 50 billion, 250, I've never seen a study that showed that they had any kind of a shift, let alone a 30% favorable shift. So it's pretty remarkable. So just don't get caught up in like having more CFUs or more strains. That's really what you want to see is what has the research shown on this combination of strains. And that's what we've done research on this combination of strange strains showing that they're actually making a shift
Starting point is 00:45:05 in the gut. They're actually helping seal up that leakyness of the gut, which is a huge problem and the cause of so many issues that people are faced with. Wow. Wow. I'm like, I'm really curious about the new product that you're about to launch. Can you tell us more about that? Well, it's a little bit of a secret, but yeah, it's a product that is focusing on memory and focus.
Starting point is 00:45:30 So we know people are dealing with focus and memory issues and it's been one of the, one of the, that strains, one of the ingredients in there particularly is so researched and helping people with like memory and also helping with focus. So we're really excited about that product. So that should be launching very shortly after this air. Yes, I'm very excited. Actually, we made it really easy. It's just called just thrive focused,
Starting point is 00:45:56 a juite just thrive focused in memory. Awesome. Yeah, I can't wait to try that. Luke's looking at me. I can't wait till Kristen tries that. Yeah, I can't wait to try that. It looks looking at me going, I can't wait till Kristen tries that. Yeah. My husband says the same. So we're juggling a lot as us women, right?
Starting point is 00:46:12 Oh my gosh, yeah. My focus has not been the best. And I'll just say as someone who's very ADHD, and guys I'm speaking from a self out here, I made a choice when we got pregnant that I didn't, I was allowed to take my medication, I was, I was encouraged to keep taking it if I wanted to, my ADHD medication. And I just chose not to. I was kind of like, well, I'm allowed to just be a little lazy and like eat right now and like, I'm supposed to sleep
Starting point is 00:46:38 a lot. I don't need to be taking this. And I still, I'm not taking it. And I kind of like it, kind of like not taking it. However, I would not mind something to help with the focus. But maybe just, that's my choice right now. Personally, it's not taking my ADHD medication. So I'm very fascinated with this focus in memory. Probably I'd like to jump on as soon as it launches. And you should start on the just column too.
Starting point is 00:47:05 The just column like that you already have. I mean, that would be amazing. Yes, you'll see. I'll be a walking talking billboard, y'all, because you guys know I am honest to a false. I'm gonna be like, trust me. Did you see that just column has the supplements you were taking B6, B12 and Fully?
Starting point is 00:47:22 Yep. Yeah, and you were already taking them. Yeah, so I was taking them with my prenatals, yeah. Awesome. Yeah, that's good stuff, guys. That's amazing. So is there a specific way, like you have to take this with food or are you taking it in the morning or you have to take it at night or what is the most beneficial way?
Starting point is 00:47:41 Or is there like an old kind of an only way? Yeah, though, the best way to take our product and the reason we know the answer to this so definitively is because we studied it. We actually studied these and we know that these strains work for the probiotic, these strains work better in the presence of food. So they proliferate throughout your intestines in the presence of food. So we always recommend taking it the end of a meal. And then I would recommend that you go slowly, some people we suggest to go slowly with, and here's the reason why. The overwhelming majority people will start the product, they're going to feel fine, they won't
Starting point is 00:48:13 notice anything right away, they won't notice anything like bad or anything. Some people have something called die off, which is common with probiotics, but what that is is like you start having your bad bacteria kind of dies off and it releases toxic byproducts. And so you start having some increased discomfort. And so we never want someone to think like, oh, this isn't working for me, I'm feeling worse. We just want people to go slow because when that happens, that actually means that it's working. And you're somebody, It makes me so sad when somebody feels that and they're like, oh, we don't want to take the product anymore. And we're like, oh, no, just slow down with it. And you'll start to see the benefits because you're someone that really needs it because that means that, you know, we certainly know you have bad bacteria that
Starting point is 00:48:57 we're killing off. So I would just recommend going slow. You could start one capsule every other day or you could go one capsule every third day or you could go one capsule every third day for the first week or so. And then then eventually just go one a day with food. It's like the easiest thing to do. You could also open the capsules and mix them with food if you'd like. We also have a gummy product. We have a gummy probiotic too. But the capsules you could open the capsules and mix it with food. If you'd like to, we've tested it up to 455 degrees. You can bake with them if you want to hide in kids' things. Wow.
Starting point is 00:49:27 Oh, that's so interesting, especially, yeah, for kids or for anyone who's just not being as open as we are. Yes, exactly. Exactly. No, that's really fascinating. You were saying earlier, with your other vitamins that you take. So for me, I take a B12, and I take fully, I take a B6, and you're saying like, these just thrive probiotics will help, like my body sort of, what's the word? I'm struggling. Words are hard sometimes. Words are hard.
Starting point is 00:49:56 I can really, yes, like help my body, like, really keep those nutrients in those vitamins. Yeah. Correct. Yeah. Yeah. They'll help simulate the nutrients. When you're taking care of your gut, it's going to help start to assimilate and allow you to absorb those nutrients better. That's really what's great about when you start taking care of your gut, all those things you're doing.
Starting point is 00:50:18 You're eating spinach, you're eating kale, or whatever it is that you're eating all these crucifers, vegetables, and then, but if you don't're not healthy yet, you're not absorbing any of those nutrients. So that's the key is that you want to make sure that you're absorbing the nutrients. And by taking care of your gut, that helps. It's another tool that just thrived probiotic is another tool in that. See you guys. You can go to the farmer's market, all you want, you can get all your organic greens and all of that, but just listen to me, okay?
Starting point is 00:50:46 Everyone, just freaking listen to me. If you then take a just-to-eye probiotic, you're doing yourself much more justice on, you know, that $20 awesome farmgrown kale that you bought. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. I mean, seriously, think about it. It really does make a lot of sense though. It's like, we're always constantly trying to,
Starting point is 00:51:05 I want to cook at home, I want to buy organic, I want to do a farm to table, I'd like to grow my own herbs or whatever it is and your people are constantly trying to get away, for me, I'll say, I'm trying to get away a life, get away from a life of convenience and I think that is a big issue. What you were kind of saying earlier, like in our country specifically,
Starting point is 00:51:24 it's like convenient, fast food, ordering out. Like you don't, what are you even putting in your body? And so I think a lot of people are trying to get away from a life of convenience and like focus on their health again. So that's, we're giving you a hard time. And that's super nice and tool in your toolkit. You know how I feel about tools and toolkits, like therapy, you know?
Starting point is 00:51:43 This is like, we're giving you a physical tool in your tool kit to make your life completely overall better. Yeah, and that is really, it's encouraging for me to see people taking, leading a more natural, green life, whole food life, and it's been really exciting for me to see that. So, and that's why, because I think that once they start realizing that, then they're going to start taking care of their gut as well. So I like that you brought that up. Yeah. It's like, you have two brains now.
Starting point is 00:52:09 Just think about it that way, guys. Take care of both of your brains. Take care of your gut brain the same way you want to take care of your brain and your mental health. Yeah. Because they're all talking to each other. They certainly are. This is so cool to know.
Starting point is 00:52:21 This is like really fascinating. Oh, I hope so. Oh, it's fun. I'm truly I'm like seriously fascinated. I'm like, wait a minute. I want to be overall better. Because like I said earlier, I definitely have had stomach issues that didn't even
Starting point is 00:52:34 come about that I was aware of, I think, until maybe the last five years. I'm almost 41. Goodness gracious. And I'm vegetarian. And I have been pretty much my whole life and I eat really, really well for the most part. But gluten, forget about it.
Starting point is 00:52:50 Like I'm a carb girl and was not real. I'm no, yeah, Kristen, if you're gonna eat pasta before you go to bed, what do you expect you're gonna feel like in the morning? Well, and then we know if we have all that gluten, it's like, it's, it's compromised in our gut lining. so having the probiotic will really help I don't want to endorse eating gluten I do not mind you know, but if you're gonna do it anyway We know that the gluten is attacking that gut wall and we know that the strains and just thrive
Starting point is 00:53:17 It actually have been studied to show that it's helped that it's heal up like seal the wall strength in the wall Exactly and and yeah again, and we're not saying like, this is, like you said this earlier, like this isn't like a rescue for you to go eat like crap and have a crappy day out and then take this and like everything's gonna be better. That's not how life works, guys. No, it's not.
Starting point is 00:53:37 We're not trying to rescue you from bad decisions. We're just trying to help and assist with a much healthier life, which in turn will be once, better for your mental health, better for your sex drive, better for your sleep, better for your mood. What more can you ask for, honestly? Yeah. We see this all the time, people, you know,
Starting point is 00:53:55 seeing all these other benefits that happen, which is exciting. Yeah. And Tina, what are the most important things you want, or facts you want our listeners to take from this? I would say that you just need to focus on your gut health. I really, I would encourage people to empower themselves and learn from me, learn from other people out there, learn from whoever you trust and just empower yourself to understand your whole body. You know,
Starting point is 00:54:20 you talked about that look like the holistic approach to your health and like acupuncture, chiropractic treatment, whatever. Those are all really important tools. And so I just would empower yourself. And again, focus on your gut health and give yourself grace along the way. Like I mentioned, I think that we want to make sure that we're not beating ourselves up, but that we're just doing small, making small little changes that make profound results. And I would also recommend that people, they could always, we have product coaches on our team. Like I said, we are really passionate about empowering people. So people could call our number or email us that are
Starting point is 00:54:58 customer support and they could set up a call with our health coach to learn more. Especially when most people will start with the probiotic and then maybe with the just calm, but then they want to start learning more about the other products that we have. And those are all we we never bring a product just to bring a product out like we will never be a 200-sq supplement company out there. We only bring products that are research and needed in the market. So the products that we have were very, very thought out and only brought because they're needed and needed in the market. So the products that we have were very, very thought out and only brought because they're needed
Starting point is 00:55:27 and missing in the market and research. So I would just encourage people to give themselves grace along the way, empower themselves, and definitely give just thrive a try. There's nothing to lose. We have money back guarantee, all that kind of stuff. So you have nothing to lose to try to take this really easy step
Starting point is 00:55:45 for gut health. That's awesome. I think that sets you apart even more that you have a health coach. You have resources for people that are curious and want to know more and know what they're putting in their body and what they should. I think that's super good.
Starting point is 00:55:58 Yeah. And I think it's important that you, as you mentioned that because what we're seeing right now is this onset of online businesses of supplement supplement companies, you know, people know people are buying supplements. There's so much crap out there and it bothers me so much because we try to elevate the standard item, a huge fan of supplements, we try to elevate the standards in the supplement industry by bringing products that had double-blind human clinical trials around them. And now we're seeing people buying strains from China, buying, you know, and then just putting
Starting point is 00:56:29 some crappy little probiotics together or crappy little nutrient, whatever. I'm not even talking about probiotics. I'm talking about all supplements. So I just would encourage people to be vigilant. Don't be afraid of supplements out there. I mean, just do your research because they are really beneficial. Our soil is deplete We don't have the nutrients that we used to get from our food So we do need to supplement but just be aware of a lot of these companies with big shiny, you know They've got lots of marketing dollars behind them find supplements that are researched awesome. I love it I'm with it. I want more of it. I want more of it
Starting point is 00:57:04 Well Tina, thank you so so much for carving time out of your day to talk to us, to help our listeners, to help us make everyone understand a little bit better, and we're really excited. Starting point is 00:57:41 The water was in, and then I was like, I don't think so. Okay, so. That was our Andy Cohen listening. Because Andy Cohen on Watch屬 Evans Live, he's like the one person who has trained his brain to go, do T, do T, but no one else can pronounce it. But yes, guys. Okay, well, she was coming to the right place
Starting point is 00:57:58 for a little discount code because we love you. Yeah, so it's 20% off.
