Alright everyone, enjoy this episode. I'm excited about how the team's here.
We have done a team show in years.
This feels so good to have you all sitting here with me around the room.
This is like a surreal experience.
You've had a lot of zoom time and we have it a lot in person time.
This is a tradition that we are starting up again that the teams are going to come together during this show
and we're going to talk about some of our most pleasurable experiences this year when it comes to products and sex accessories and things that made us feel good.
And we're literally in the room together. And so one of the great
things about this job, I think is that we get toys, get products, things come in. It can't
just be me deciding what feels good. So years ago, we started having my team kind of pick
out what they want to try and then we get to talk about it. I don't know how everybody
felt about their products this year. So it's kind of exciting to see what you've all
been up to. It's not like on our agendas when we're doing like a team call, like, so
what do you think about this toy last night? But now we get to hear what's really been
on a rock in your world and also some of the your pleasure goals for the year. We're going to go
through all of that. So it's a me fun show. And I also want to say this, intentions usually record
our tensions, you know, but I wanted to say that my intention for this show, my live intention is
that I really just want to bring the team together.
I wanted to get to know you better.
I wanted my listeners to know you because you guys are just an important part of the sex
with Emily family and making everything happen here.
And you guys are just so hardworking and brilliant and I'm so grateful.
So and then my attention is to everyone to get to know you, but then to also truly hear about some products, toys,
sex accessories, and things that have made you feel good,
and I hope that inspires everyone as well.
Okay, so thank you, team.
So, just get to know the sex, dummy team.
I think everyone should go around, and, you know,
give your name, your age, your pronouns,
your relationship status, if you're into it,
and what you do for the show.
Hello, I am Leia, I am 33, I am in a relationship,
I go by she-her, and I am Emily's right-hand woman.
I'm her executive assistant.
Hi, I'm Aubrey Boucher, I'm 27, I am in a relationship,
I go by she-her-hers, and I am Emily's personal assistant home organizer all of the above.
Hi, my name is Brittany. I am 36 years old. My pronouns are She-Herr and the head of marketing for sex with Emily.
And my relationship status is none of your business.
Hi, I'm Grace. I'm 22. I am single. My pronouns are she, her, and I am the marketing coordinator. Hi, I'm Erica. I am 23 years old. I use she, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her, her,. My pronouns are he, him, his.
I am in a relationship and I'm the producer of this show.
So I get to really work alongside Emily and see the magic in action every week.
What a pleasure.
I'm Tally Mosley.
She, her, hers.
I'm 40 and married.
I am head of editorial for Sex with Emily. So I write articles
for the site. I do research for the show. I work really closely with social media content
creation and strategy and I feel very honored to work here.
So I thought to get to know everyone a little bit better, we could talk about our pleasure goals.
Like, what is in for you this year?
What is out?
And actually, I would like listeners to do this as well as you're listening.
Just pause and think about it.
You know, what would you like more of in the new year?
What would you like a little bit of less of and why?
Hi, this is Leah. In the new year, I hope to continue exploring my pleasure
with my partner and reading more fairy porn.
Anyone reads a quarter forms and roses,
see where my people, I'm rereading it right now.
Reading your porn is the way to go.
More ins for me, open communication,
and I
want to see more comprehensive sex ed in America and the world.
Out is the male gaze.
Mel Gays G A C E.
So about the female gaze.
In 2023. I love that way. I love you. This is Aubrey speaking. Hi. In the new year, I hope to explore
new ways to have fun with my partner. I'm two years into marriage. So it's been fun and fresh,
and I want to keep it fun and fresh. I've been having a lot of fun with my own personal journey
with orgasms lately, especially since working with Emily. So in the new year, I think the ins
is definitely more new ways to find how to orgasm by myself and then out, not communicating.
With my partner, with relationships in general, I just want full transparency in the new year.
Hi, it's Brittany again. In the new year, I want to read more, stress less, and explore pleasure in all aspects
of my life.
My ins are mindfulness, meditation, consuming all kinds of sexual wellness content, not
fairy porn, sorry, Leia, but other books, TV shows, and just in general being fearless
and bold.
And my outs are the patriarchy, self-doubt, overthinking, and any form of intolerance.
Hi, this is Grace again. In the new year, I really want to get to know more about my sexuality
and continue to explore that. I want to find it both with myself and with any other partners
that I come across this year, and I really want to be able to work on my communication as well in the bedroom. I find that it's
definitely something that I need to continue to grow in just to talk about what I like, what I don't
like, and in that moment say it rather than say it afterwards. And my ends are more sexual exploration, communication, boundaries, a lot more toys,
sex toys specifically, and taking yourself out on dates, whether that be inside your own home
and you do a solo play session and you play with some sex toys or you try new lube
or you cake yourself out to dinner.
And my outs are judging other people's further sex life, as well as also not getting to know your own body.
And ghosting people after dates.
Wow, Grace, that is the tough one to follow.
This is Erica speaking, by the way.
In the new year, I really want to have more fun, diversify,
and explore more in my solo play.
I feel like sometimes I can just be, you know,
right before bed, help myself go to sleep
and last like, setting the mood,
letting it candle, putting on some music,
and I feel like that's always way more fun and enjoyable.
My ins for 2023 are prioritizing genuine connections
with my partners.
My outs are not showing up as my full authentic self on dates and in the bedroom because I'm
just playing myself.
I'm wasting my own time by doing that.
So that's something I've learned too as well.
For me in the new year, I just want to be more centered as well.
Really heard a lot about that, Definitely relate and connect. And manage
stress and anxiety better. I think I can really let it take over me sometimes. So I want
to try and be more intentional with breathing and meditation and journaling all the things
I hear Emily talk about every day. But when I leave the office, I forget to do them myself. But on a more
lighter note, you know, I do want to get more comfortable with toys. Ins for me are prostate
massagers, being a more empathetic person, and being an open communicator with the ones I love.
love. Out's for me are toxic hookup culture, spit as lube, which thank you Emily and shame around toys. This is Tully. And in
the new year, I want to write erotica. I am not a bad
sexster if I do say so myself. So why not apply those skills to the general public and
create more pleasure for all. I've got all kinds of story ideas. Leia, thank you for the fairy
inspo. My ins include a burlesque class. I am a mover but I have never taken a burlesque class
before. Sounds really fun. I saw a water slide toy on TikTok.
Oh, and speaking of the water slide toy,
you can actually find that in our gift guide
and we'll also link that in the show notes.
You can turn your bathtub into a sex toy with this gizmo.
So I want that.
I want to be a safe person that my friends can talk to
about sex and pleasure. I feel like even though our
society is becoming more sex positive, people still feel really nervous discussing this.
It's part of the healing journey I've been on working at Sex with Emily, so I want
to be that person for my friends. I want to do more therapy and for real this time I mean it,
I want to meditate. And you're all going to be my accountable buddies. Out! I want to
throw out nervousness around anal toys. I don't need to be nervous. Just do it. I'm also
going to get out reading my phone before I go to sleep unhealthy. I'm saying goodbye to trampolines. I broke
my ankle on one a few weeks ago. I'm saying goodbye to hit it and quit at masturbation. More
mindful masturbation up in here.
Because that was awesome. I am so inspired by all of you. And listen, if you're inspired
to create your own pleasure goals in the new year, you have to check out our pleasure planner.
We launched it last year, everybody loved it.
It is a great place to start.
It's a free downloadable guide.
It's up at our website,
and it's also gonna be linked in the show notes too.
All right, with that, let's get into some toy reviews.
Let's talk about toys.
Let's talk about toys about sex.
Yeah, let's do it.
Okay, so we reviewed this toys.
Like I said, we're giving our honest opinions for better for worse.
You guys can say whatever you want. It's a safe space. Like even if I've said something is my like go to and I live for it
If it was not your jam, tell everyone be honest.
Everything we're talking about on the show, we're going to link in the show notes where you listen to the podcast.
The categories that we have are we have vibrators and toys,
listen to the podcast. The categories that we have are we have vibrators and toys, classics,
literal stimulators, prostate massagers, anal toys,
and then we've got some sex accessories. And this is where you're
fun like your looves, your rousal gels, some other fun little
products, and some honorable mentions. And I think we should
start with the magic wand, just to give background, they have
been around for over 50 years. It was one of the first, you know, massagers.
I think it was made as a massager, but eventually we decided that lots of parts of our bodies
feel good being massaged.
It's a wand style vibrator.
And when it first was invented, it had a cord that attached to the wall.
So it's sort of known as it's like, oh, the magic ones are really big vibrator that
you has a lot of power. And it's definitely for externally use only. You can use it to a massage a partner, but it's just, it's like, oh, the magic ones are really big vibrator that you has a lot of power and
it's definitely for externally use only.
You can use it to massage a partner, but it's just its intense.
These call it the map truck of all vibrators.
So they're just a really well-known brand, very respected.
They still have the one that plugs into the wall, but then like about five years ago,
they're like, we're going to do a rechargeable one and everyone was like, so excited that
the one could down be like released from the wall
and you could take it anywhere.
And then this just came out this year.
And it is the Magic Wand Mini, Erica.
You tried the Magic Wand Mini.
I did.
Going in, I definitely had high expectations
for this Magic Wand and it did not disappoint.
I have to say, the power was so good,
but not to the point where it's like too much,
gave me sensations that I hadn't experienced before,
but it also didn't get me there too quickly.
Like, I feel like I was still able to tease myself
and have fun with it 10 out of 10 for the magic one, Mini.
Would you mind telling me how you used it?
Like, was it over your cleverly, over your pubic mound?
Yes, I used it externally.
One of my hesitations about the magic wand
was that it would just be like too quick.
I wouldn't get to enjoy it.
And I feel like I was really able to tease myself.
And so yeah, I used it externally,
but I remember in a recent hotline call
you were telling a listener about applying it
kind of below your belly button to stimulate the G spot externally. So that's definitely something I want to do next.
A lot of people use it over their clothes too. That can feel great to them because it can be a lot
of sensation because there's so many nerve endings, you know, on our externally and our vulva that
when you have the fabric and the vibration you can feel great. But where I was talking about
the show is the pubic mound, which is the area above your vaginal opening, above your clitoris. It's kind of like where you
have may or may not have pubic hair. If you put a midmagic wand there and you apply pressure,
you're having indirect stimulation to your g spot. And there have been many cases reported of
lava owners squirting and again, indirect stimulation to the G spot. So what do you do?
Trying that tonight.
You're like, can I add that to my list?
Yes.
One thing I love about the magic wand is I'm not someone who wants a bunch of settings.
So having this be simple and to the point with three intensity modes as opposed to patterns
is my fucking jam.
It's easy to clean.
It's easy to take with you, easy to charge.
It's just a simple to the point toy and as someone who's a huge sex in the city fanatic,
if anyone remembers the episode where Samantha goes to us, I forget what store it is to
get what they call a neck massager. And she's like, sure, it is. This magic wand is exactly like that neck massager.
It's sharper image.
Yes, sharper image.
I thought, oh, I'm the most well versed in sex toys
of my friends, and I didn't know about the magic wand.
So that is something Emily illuminated me about,
and I'm so glad she forced me to take it home.
I probably did.
You're like, I never heard of it. I never heard of it, and I was like glad she forced me to take it home. Because. I probably did. You did.
I never heard of it.
And I was like, that was scary.
But it wasn't scary.
It's my new best friend.
And you could use it with couples too, I think.
It's really great, because it can be very intimidating
in some couples.
It had our sexual couples, maybe where, again, it just
like, where does it go?
But the many when you can kind of fit in between you,
you have a perpetrative sex or a couple
of your partners. That you can use it on the between you, you have a penetrative sacs or puff high your partners.
That you can use it on the perineum,
which I didn't know.
Balls, the tip of it.
You can use every vibrator.
You could pretty much use on everybody part.
I think if it vibrates, it feels good.
You can put on a lower setting.
If you have a penis, test the shaft,
have the balls, perineum.
Because remember, when we're talking about the pleasure centers,
it's all nerve endings.
And nerve endings love stimulation.
And they love to feel good.
That's why it feels great as a back massager as well.
So I just think there's all these toys that were saying,
this is for clitoris, or it's for penis.
But if it vibrates, you can get your hand around it.
You could probably use it on different parts of bodies.
And then Grace used the rechargeable one, right?
So tell it, I'm curious.
I didn't know that there was patterns with that one. And I obviously just trashed patterns, And then Grace used the rechargeable one, right? So tell it, I'm curious.
I didn't know that there was patterns with that one.
And I obviously just trashed patterns,
but are they amazing?
They really are.
I loved the rechargeable wand.
I have the one with the cord.
I never used the magic wand with the cord.
I couldn't get behind the idea of plugging it in.
So I loved the rechargeable one when I got it. I went home, charged it up,
waited literally by my bedside to use it. I was like waiting for this because I've heard so much
about it. So I wanted to see if it lived up to the test and it definitely did. I will say I had
an opportunity to use it with a partner and I prefer it that way than it is with myself because
I'm a person when I do solo play, I like a little bit
of a smaller toy. Since I didn't get the mini, I had this regular size. So it was a little bit bigger
than I'm used to playing with, but with partner, partner play, it was so great. It added so much more
stimulation. We played a little bit with the vibrations and the patterns and it kind of kept me on my toes
a little bit. It like kind of helped with the edging with partner play,
which I thought was really fun in a different kind of way to try it.
I definitely think it's worth the purchase.
It's strong.
It is strong, and it does the job, for sure.
There's four magic ones.
There's the magic wand original, the rechargeable,
the magic wand plus, and then the mini.
If you're looking for some intspo about the magic wand,
how to use it yourself.
We do have a really fun article.
It's called Seven New Ways to Use a Magic Wand,
and it's sexwithelm.com, such magic wand on our website.
Okay, now we have some J.J. you toy reviews.
Okay, but first let me tell you about my journey with J.J.
So when I started doing this almost 20 years ago, I remember going to the good
vibration store in San Francisco, I just become friends with them and they're
like here some toys. And one of them was J.J.
these product and it was the Mimi which we're gonna get into in a little bit.
First of all, I don't think I'd ever really had an elevated sex toy, luxury
sex toy, except for the magic wand at that time. And they really care a lot.
They don't like release a bunch of products a year. They do it like batch by batch and they use great
materials. They're known for these like deep, rumbly sensations. And so anyway, I got the
time with the Mimi and I loved it. And now this was we're talking 2009, 2008. And this
was when the podcast was still going on, but I didn't know any brands. But I happened
to go on the show. It was probably my first product review was for this toy, the Mimi, and it turns out that
J.J. called me and they were like, we got a lot of sales.
People loved it.
Our sales went up by whatever, like a lot of percentage because you love this toy.
And that's what I realized that I could start to talk to brands that I like and help them
sell toys because they also remember this.
Nobody was advertising toys at the time.
You had to walk into a store and I just genuinely feel my heart talking about what I liked and then I've continued to only talk about products
that I like that my team's into, you know, they get well-reviewed that are well
made and so that is the background of J.J.
Tally, you actually reviewed the Mimi.
So what do you think?
It is just one of the cutest, most aesthetic little sex toys I have ever seen.
It looks like a dainty egg.
And it's a literal vibrator.
And the reason that this was a unique sex toy for me is because the way that it vibrates. One grand differentiator of J.J.U. is their low frequency rumble,
so it's less of a buzz vibe and more of a like quieter rumble. And I love this toy. The reason I do is because it stimulates nerve endings
that are a little bit deeper.
I find that bullet vibes and more traditional vibes
kind of hit nerve endings that sit closer to the skin.
And even though this is a literal stimulator,
it feels like it's reaching inside.
I'm like getting nerve endings that are tucked,
tucked deep in my body.
So the orgasms are novel and exciting.
I would honestly say too that I would recommend this
for a more intermediate sex toy user.
I like a lot of you needed a power tool,
like Magic Wand, when I first started solo play, something with just
more overt sensation, and the Mimi, well, it pays off in a big way. You will love the orgasm.
I think that it is ideal for a more seasoned sex toy user because you kind of have to sit with it to
let the sensation build rather than feeling like, whoa, my clitoris is getting like shocked
into action here.
Level up your orgasm with the Mimi.
The other toy that I was really excited to try was the J-Jew G-Spot Bullet Vibrator. I am not typically a person that has G-Spot orgasms.
I typically have literal orgasms, so I was excited to try this one to see if I could kind
of unlock that.
And it did.
It was.
It was really great.
Yes.
And I honestly liked the smaller size of it compared to other insurgable vibrators.
I feel like sometimes it can be more uncomfortable, so I can't focus on the pleasure sensation,
so I really liked the size of it.
So I really enjoyed it.
And it works as a collateral vibrator as well.
Wow.
I'm so glad.
So was that, had you had a G-spot?
I think I had variations before, but I feel like it usually was in tandem
with clitoral simulation.
Which a lot of them are usually.
Yes, and I did what you said.
Leads to higher odds is to make sure
you have a clitoral one first.
Yeah, good.
And that's exactly what it is when you,
you know, we'll repeat that here.
That when you're looking for G spot orgasm,
that it really does help to be a rouse
and have a clitoral orgasm first.
And then your G spot becomes more
engorged, more turdant, more rouse, a blood flowing, and so
it could be easier to find. So an easier to stimulate. Yeah.
All right. So I'm like, yeah, she had a G spot orgasm with a
toy that said it was going to do that. That's nice.
That's a win for the whole team.
That is a win for you. But I have to say that I really like this bullet too. I've tried, we've all tried, but I probably tried a lot of G-Spot toys
over the years and usually they are a lot bigger. And what I like about this one is if you think about
it, your G-Spot is really only an inch and a half to inside of your fragile opening, just your
minor torture, the belly button, you kind of usually find a comhether motion and sort of find
that spot or that area as I like to call it. I don't really think it's a spot that can be misleading. or a jelly button, you kind of usually find a comb Heather motion and sort of find that
spot or that area as I like to call it.
I don't really think it's a spot that can be misleading.
But what I like about this is it has a little curve and it's only four inches about four
and a half inches and it's sort of like the perfect shape, I think, for many to sort of
get to explore internally because it's not actually meant to go all the way inside.
I mean, it can, but you don't want to go too far up,
but it goes in far enough and yes,
it can definitely be used as a literal toy.
When we're back, we'll hear more from my team
about their favorite toys to use in the New Year's.
Stick around.
[♪ OUTRO MUSIC PLAYING [♪
We're taking a quick detour from today's episode
for our Holiday Gift, Spotlight.
This week I'm joined by Jennifer Zucarini, founder of Flurdamall, a laundry brand committed
to redefining the way women approach laundry.
Here she is sharing how Flurdamall's line of products can bring joy and a whole lot
of pleasure to you and your loved ones this holiday season.
I love just thinking about how our women will feel when she's wearing beautiful pieces.
That's always been my inspiration is really thinking about our woman and thinking about myself and
the women I know and how you can wear the full sexy things every day and really make part of your wardrobe.
Laundry was never that accessible. I'm like, when do I have time to clip this on and put it in the
garters and I'm going to go into the bathroom and change it to something more comfortable?
Like that never happens.
And then I found myself with the drawers of lingerie
that I never wore.
But now since I came acquainted with your brand
and started getting things,
like I'm always in something no matter what I'm wearing,
if it's something from Florida Mall that makes me feel sexy,
like myself, but still powerful.
I'm not trying too hard.
And it works. It can go from day to night in the house out of the house
And that's just very sophisticated creative and accessible. What else for the holiday season?
Like what are some of the things that people get excited about?
Our little gift set that we collaborated on our sex with Emily gift bundle. It's sexy.
It looks good at everybody. It's a great color. It's got the blind fold.
It's not so size-specific, so we chose to do Baby Doll and our Lillie embroidery and it has a
matching thong, but the Baby Dolls' grave because it's just easier to fit. It's a great gifting item,
and we have that little racy blindfold in there, and the most fun part was your little bondage,
how to guide. People get the blindfold and they love the idea of it, but how do you use it?
And so I already had the lily collection. My partner had bought me the broad panties
and I just loved it. I love the color red. I love just the texture, the material,
and then to be able to make it in the baby doll that is so accessible for people I think was
really exciting. So I'm thrilled for our collaboration. So if people want to check out the bundle and more inclusive options and all of your incredible
designs and products for everybody, where can they go?
So you can go to our website, which is flurdumall.com.
That's F-L-E-U-R-D-U-M-A-L.com. And we also have the bundle at our stores in New York, N-L-l-e-u-r-d-u-m-a-l.com.
And we also have the bundle at our stores in New York, N-l-a.
You know what I love about your stores?

What is your best seller over time of everything?
Our Lillie bra, I would say, is very iconic to us
and people really know that's our bra.
It's an embroidery that we do called Lillie
and we've had it for many years now.
We do new iterations of it every season.
And it's a great bra because it doesn't have padding
or anything, but it actually gives you
a really great lift and support for an online bra. And it's beautiful, but you can still really wear it every day.
So it's a that people also, you know, they really know us for our body suits and slip dresses.
We're also expanding our whole pleasure category. So we have a lot more leather accessories coming out
right now. We have leather cuffs and a harness. But in the new year, we have a lot more fun,
play things and leather coming out.
We also just launched our pearl accessories.
So we have these like pearl harness.
That's very sexy that you can more incorporate
into your outfit or wear with nothing at all.
I saw the pearl harness.
I love it.
It's sort of like how people wear the body chain,
which I've never seen before. And I love the way itolness. I love it. It's sort of like how people wear the body chain, which I've never seen before.
And I love the weight designer on your neck, so you always have it on, right?
Like I would wear this all the time. In fact, I think I'm gonna add this to my list too.
Yeah, you have to get that.
I'm on the list. It's done.
Oh, fun. Now I want to go back to the store like tomorrow.
Dutford, thank you so much. I'm so excited for our first collab,
and know we'll be doing more.
Let's keep talking and do more fun things together.
Yeah, we're gonna do it.
Thank you, Jennifer, for being here.
I appreciate you.

So, panty vibes is a little subcategory and there's niche category of vibrators. People
are like, oh, is there a third vibrators that you could put in your underwear?
I think years ago, there was this movie with Cameron Diaz
and she was wearing a pantybive.
I think that's when it first,
not this particular pantybive, I don't talk about,
but it's sort of a fun, titlating thing
that you could do for a long distance play.
You could be at a party with your friend
or with your friend, maybe your friend, or your lover
and you have a vibrator in your underwear,
and they could be controlling it.
So they've a lot of different companies make these,
but I love the Oh My Body Blue motion.
So what I love about a patty vibe,
and this one, what I love, Oh My Body,
is that first of all, I love Oh My Body,
their technology is great, they're like,
I know the founders, they make all their products
with heart and passion,
Suki and Brian, we love, Britt Meta, and Leah, you guys met that, we hung out, they're friends. And I just believe in the products they make all their products like with heart and passion, Suki and Brian, we love, Britt Meta.
And Leah, you guys met that, we hung out, they're friends.
And I just like believe in the products,
they make that care about body-safe materials,
they care about innovating.
And why it's fun, it's like, I'm wearing this to a party
or I'm just going out to dinner
and my partner has access on his app on the Bluetooth
and you just kind of control it.
So if you're like maybe going to a long holiday party
or your parents' house for, you know, the holidays and you're like maybe going to a long holiday party or your parents' house for the holidays
and you're like, I'm really dreading this dinner,
then just get one of these pantybibes
putting your underwear, give your partner the control
to the app and just you never know.
Like past the stuffing could mean like,
could you buzz me in my underwear?
And then you guys have your own little,
little four play all day, baby.
It's a good stocking stuff.
Like if you want to play with toys with your partner
and you're like, how do we make it cool?
And it's just saying it different.
And this is really fun.
Like you won't ever forget that night out.
I love the idea of being at a PTA meeting
and Ross having this.
I love it.
Yes, Kelly.
All of a sudden I'm very engaged.
Very, very,, very engaged.
In the top.
She really likes this initiative.
She can't wait for the challenge, oh.
Oh, and that's called the, oh my god, blue motion,
next one, wearable pantybite.
So I hadn't had a toy like this before that has suction.
This is the Sona to cruise from Lilo. And honestly, I'm a
really aesthetic person. And this is fucking cute. And that is what drew it to me. The color
I chose is this beautiful pink. It's got this gold metallic metal back. It's super soft
and easy to clean. I've definitely had toys where after use, I didn't realize maybe
how much pressure I was applying and I was soar and uncomfortable afterwards and you don't
have that with this. It's got sonic pulses to get deeper, the more pressure you apply,
the more intense the vibration is. It's made so that it senses that you're pressing harder,
so it gets more intense for you so that you don't have to make exactly, you know, have that soreness. This is one where I was shocked to find
that I actually did like one of the patterns which I never have before and I
didn't really think I would enjoy one with, you know, kind of lower rumbles than
something intense like the magic one, but it has its place and enjoyment for
short. It has a nice little curve to it,
and then at the element that has this suction
kind of pokes out like a gorgeous little nipple.
It's handheld, it fits right in the palm of your hand,
but it's not uncomfortable,
because I know again, sometimes with toys,
I can feel like holding them to them for too long,
you know, gives me a hand cramp,
and I don't have that with this.
The sona is pretty and soft and waterproof.
Definitely something that if you haven't explored a suction toy before,
definitely recommend it. And by suction toy, meaning it uses this air technology that sort of
pulses air. That's what it is. It feels like it's sucking, but it's actually pulsing.
It's not even able to say but it's actually pulsing.
Some people say the mimic oral sex totally.
Yeah, they're fine.
That was exciting.
That was exciting.
In the last 10 years, yeah, exactly.
In the last 10 years, it was the most innovative,
new kind of toy that came out.
Because the clitoris, remember, eight will actually
have, say, 8,000 nerve ratings.
We've just discovered 2,000 more nerve ratings
in the clitoris just in the last few weeks, which is a big deal.
But think about all those nerve ratings pulsing air on it, which is why they're so popular
because it also just sort of like reaches nerve ratings in a way that other vibrators
don't allow you to.
May I underwrite Leia's recommendation of Lilo as a brand. Lilo makes some of the most
gorgeous sex toys. We just wrote an article on Sex with Emily about sex toys
that are so pretty. They look like art. I think brands across the board are
getting the memo that like we want our sex toys to be pretty, but Lilo I really
do think is the brand that does this one of the best. Everything is gorgeous.
Their branding is gorgeous. Their videos are really inspiring. So yeah, like that sounds
like SponCon. This is just me as a fan girl of Lilo. Ooh Jonathan. Oh, is it my turn?
Yes. I reviewed the B vibe triplet. It's probably like four inches long. It has
like these little balls. It has like these little balls.
It's like anal beads essentially.
They just haven't been electronic.
You can kind of go one ball at a time,
which is fun and kind of have that sensation,
because you know, the in and the out
is its own form of pleasure,
not just having something up there that moves.
The settings, too many to choose from, if I'm being honest,
I was like, whoa, why do I need this many settings? It was kind of crazy. I found two that I really liked.
I finished. So I guess I'm a happy customer. But was it a penal orgasm or a prostate orgasm?
Was it a penal orgasm or a prostate orgasm? Both.
Ooh.
Yeah.
Usually, when there's penetration involved, I haven't been able to like parse out the difference
between a prostate orgasm and me finishing.
Like, I know when both are happening at the same time, but I'm not able in the moment
to be like, oh, I'm having a prostate organ,
but I haven't come yet.
You know what I mean?
Definitely it was like, I was erect
as soon as this thing was going.
So it was like, well, I'm definitely,
it's feeling good and it's hitting the prostate.
Sort of is like anal beads, but in a toy.
So it's a prostate toy, but it's more
that would probably fall into the category of anal beads.
And the thing about anal beads is they don't all vibrate it, but I love that they made a vibrating
anal bead toy because that's kind of rare, is that essentially it's about the insertion
of the toy and the pulling out.
Like you were saying, there's so many nerve endings internally that feel good.
So it's kind of like, it feels great when you're putting it in and when you're pulling it
out and you can pull it in and pull it out and you can play with it in different ways.
So it really is a fun toy.
Yes, and if now knowing that it comes in different colors, and that was my only note,
we'd definitely get it in maybe if they make a muted tone of some sort.
Got it.
We'll love that.
We'll find out.
We'll get you what you need, everybody.
And you know, when I was using my B-Vib triplet, looping it back to ends and outs,
now that space is out, I used playground lube,
and since it's water-based, it was perfect
for use with this toy.
We do recommend the water-based lube with silicone toys
because the silicone on silicone can break them down.
But it's also important to always wash your sex toys
just to damp cloth, wipe them down, dry them.
Important, because you can't get infections
without washing them.
Okay, so we can talk about playgroundGrow and Loop for a minute.
When I met the founders Katherine and Sandy almost a year ago now, they were totally speaking
my Loop language because they realized there's a lot of loop out there not necessarily made
with women's sexual health in mind.
One of them, Sandy, she's a scientist, like she's invented products before in the beauty
space, but she said, I'm going create a lube that's using ingredients and supplements and adaptogens
and all these things that people never really thought
about putting in lube before
and finding the right ones that work.
So essentially it's like a facial for your vagina.
We love playground at the risk of sounding super LA.
I think that wellness component to it
and thinking about being intentional
about what goes
inside your body, except for the occasional music festival or something, is really important.
And the four-astensis are great.
The one that I reviewed was Mini Escape.
I am a coconut lady through and through.
It just appeals to me.
I think it's a little sweet and sensual, and I enjoyed
the stand-alwood. It was almost a little masculine smelling to me, which I enjoyed, and the loop is
long-lasting, which is great. And I am a reformed president of the I don't need Loop Club, so thank
you for that, Emily. But it's always great to know you're using high-quality ingredients and being
careful of what you put inside you as a woman.
And I use the Love Such, which is scent free.
I'm not really a scent person.
I've probably used, I don't want to name names,
but you know, your drug store, Lube,
is what I've used in the past.
Just like you can tell the difference
between chicken, that's on sale at Ralph's,
versus chicken from Air One. You can tell the difference between chicken, that's on sale at Ralph's versus chicken from Air One.
You can tell the difference between the lube that I've used in the past from CVS and this
lube.
It's a better product.
The bottle is really cute.
It's like this matte pink.
Each one is a little different, but I think I tried the date night one, which is like champagne
and vanilla, if I'm not wrong.
The packaging is discrete in a way that's like, it's a cute fun bottle.
Could be moisturizer or it could be lube
and it's on your nightstand, it's perfect.
In addition to the packaging though,
I think I really like the texture of the lube.
I love good skin care.
So it kind of felt like one of my like serums
that I use on my face.
So I did feel like I was giving myself a facial down there.
I love that there are flip top bottles too.
Let me just say that.
Yes.
So easy.
You want to be on screw in anything when you're on a loose loop.
You want to be screwing, not on screwing.
Yes.
A lid.
And it keeps it neat.
I feel like it doesn't get all over the place.
Exactly.
You can do it one hand in.
Since we're talking about sex accessories, kind of an interesting one, Brittany, that you also reviewed.
The J-June massage candle, which when I saw you put this in the script, and then I was
researched, I was like, oh, this is not like a candle to make the room smell good.
This is a different kind of candle.
It's both actually.
It is.
It's so.
As a big supporter of
foreplay, I think misogies are wild,
the erotic and sexy. And I have never
used a massage oil candle. So this
product was fun to try. And it smells
great, really silky oil. I will warn
you it's hot. So I know that's intuitive, right?
Candle hot fire. I get it now. So there's an option to let it cool down before
using, which I would recommend as a sensitive skin babe. I imagine this
product is going to last a long time. I let it burn for maybe 15, 20 minutes
before trying it. And it didn't use that much to get a kind of full body massage
going.
So I thought that was great because we love a long lasting product.
The big fan.
The cool thing about massage candles is they look like regular candles and you just burn
them for 15 minutes an hour and then you blow it out, you wait a few minutes and then
what you do is you pick it up and you like pour it on a partner and it's really cool
because playing with hot and cold sensations.
That's one of my favorite little fun things to do with a partner, but even just, again,
just even playing with hotness, it's not messy or it's not like waxy or sticky or too hot.
I mean, it can't be hot, but it's not going to burn your skin.
It's a different kind of candle.
It's actually made out of misogyn.
So it's just a whole multi-sensory experience.
Emily, I did not blow out the candle before pouring the wax.
And I am absolutely
dying right now. Oh, that is so funny. Just like flame going. Well, that's why I was
in instruction. That's why I was really hot. If you play with fire, you're going to burn
right that down. Okay. We will get burned here at sex with Emily, so you don't.
I will say, hot is sexy though, so that's not a fairly bad thing.
There's a lot of cool things about temperature play.
When we say temperature play, just means again,
remember all those great senses and nerve endings we have all of our body,
our back has that. That's how massage just feels so good, our neck, our hands.
And so when you're giving some massage,
a great fun thing to do is do blindfold your partner and to sort of have him lay back
until like tonight's about you and you can have a bowl of ice cubes by the bed.
You can have, you know, warm massage candle. You could even use your breath.
If you don't have a candle and just sort of play with massaging them like a woman,
you can take an ice cube, you can put it in your mouth, you can drown, you can get down your partner's back,
or you know, they're front, wherever you want.
And then you could blow on it with like warm air
from your mouth, or use a candle
and it's kind of fun to play with just different sensations
and senses while giving someone a massage.
Okay, so next up in the category of sex accessories
is Promescent.
And Grace is gonna share her review
of one of the newest products and offerings from promising.
I tried the permessant female or rousal gel. I didn't really think it was necessarily going to do
a significant difference to my rousal and my like feeling down there, but it definitely did.
It's super easy to use. It's like the small little like almost like a lip gloss. My roommates actually thought it was a lip gloss. One of them actually almost tried to use it.
And I was like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, that's not that's not what it is.
It's not a lip gloss and then she read it and realized it was
completely different. And so I was playing with it and I just waited like the five minutes and I noticed a
significant difference. It was very warm. It felt almost like a hug, if that makes sense.
When you stimulate the clit or just anywhere on your vulva,
it's definitely a tingling sensation,
where it's, it just kind of heightens everything.
It kind of heightens those nerves.
It feels more, you can pay more attention to it
where I feel like sometimes you can't really pay attention
to what's going down there, especially in the heat of the moment.
And just, yeah, heightened, every nerve ending on my quit.
Good. One.
A new part of the little thing to add is that it doesn't have any residue on your fingers, which is amazing.
And I agree it totally looks like a lip gloss.
So it's a nice little thing on your night side as long as you want your friends.
Nobody tries to use it as a lip gloss.
Yeah.
So I was nervous about how overwhelming it would be
and actually it wasn't.
It was just like a gentle boost of sensation.
And the warming, like you were talking about grace,
that was so nice, because it was comforting.
It made my time with myself even more intimate.
I felt warm everywhere, which was comforting. It made my time with myself even more intimate. I felt warm everywhere,
which was good.
I love that. That's what we're talking about here. It's getting creative. However you
orgasm is great. I'm glad that you do orgasm. But remember, there are so many other ways
to do it. And so the practice of becoming more mindful, more specific thinking about,
how else can I stimulate myself? Like, let me use a little gel. Let me use a different
kind of toy
that can pinpoint different areas of pleasure is,
is a delight for a promise and particularly
for the Rousal gel or any of their products.
We love their Delay Spray.
You can just go to promessant.com slash Emily.
You do get free shipping 60 day money
back guarantee and discrete delivery at promessant.
They're just an awesome company.
We love them.
And just a reminder,
everything we are talking about is in the show notes.
So something else I want to mention is there are some gift sets,
it's the holidays. And we know we've talked a lot about J.
G on this show, but they did just come out with these gifts sets.
And this one is called the naughty gift set.
And you open it up.
And the first thing you see is this card deck, true through dare.
So it's like a fun card game to play with your partner.
Then it has a Mimi vibrator in there,
which I think is wonderful,
that a massage candle,
and it has a little satin blindfold and a restraint.
So that is a lot of fun just in one box.
So I just love this idea as a gift set.
They actually have a few other gift sets.
They also have a couples collection
that has their Mio Cochering and their G-Spot bullet.
We talked about.
So you can get a little combo and that's fun too.
So if you want to check out any of these gift sets,
which I think, again,
always gives a gift of pleasure.
That's how we're doing this show too.
Because I feel like,
who's not gonna love that gift of pleasure to give them
and we could all use more of it.
So you guys can get a special offer here
if you go to jazew.com.
That's j-e-j-o-e.com and use code ebony30.
You get 30% off everything.
Any final thoughts?
Any final thoughts?
