Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, bonus episode Wednesday night, folks. I hope wherever you're at, you're enjoying the bonus coverage. Tonight, I got to sit with Jeff Rosner and Brett Cross from their hotel room, which is in shambles, but we won't go there. It's been fun to get to know some of these guys and hear their stories, and I hope you enjoy this update three from the convoy wherever you're at. Keep the prayers coming and the good vibes and everything else. You can feel it over here, and certainly everything we're seeing here is reciprocated.
Starting point is 00:00:32 So enjoy Jeff Rosner and Brett Cross, and we will catch up to you Friday. Welcome to the Sean Newman podcast today. I'm joined by Jeff Rosner and Brett Cross. So, well, boys, we're sitting at the Ramada in Thunder Bay. First off, let's start with Jeff. Thanks for giving me a few minutes of your time on a busy night. Thank you. What brought you on the trip first off?
Starting point is 00:01:09 Like, what's got you a part of this convoy? I was back in my hometown, where I'm living now in BC and Sycamuse, and we've been fighting this freedom movement for several, a couple years here, and I've been studying what's been going on for six years, and just decided to jump in, and this is our big, one of our, you know,
Starting point is 00:01:31 we've had plenty of plays on this. like I was telling you earlier about in October we were at the legislative grounds with the First Nations people trying to get some questions answered just trying to figure this whole thing out and we're not an opportunity to help and with all other good freedom fighter leaders I jumped at the chance and it's been nothing but amazing and life-changing to connect with all the people across Canada and to see everyone unite and come together and drop all racism and just just in a love vibration and just want to and just love each other like doing things for each other like the amount of just hanging out it's just well we'll get into that stuff but it's amazing it's probably been something you both have seen like uh the if you aren't here you can't see it that's what's so important of doing these is like uh is the energy that you see on the highway all the people out uh you know plotting you and i mean when you got to thunder bay and all the vehicles and people here and smiles and like the energy of like hope of like happiness smiles is unreal i mean
Starting point is 00:02:42 for two years now that has been complete opposite of that you both have gotten to witness that i mean it's got to be pretty cool yeah you can't see it hey brett you got to feel it you got to feel energy i've definitely felt it in the last two days so it's been uh it's been amazing so far well brett uh what's your story why why are you on the convoy So I guess, yeah, I guess mine's a little different than Jeff's. He's been dealing with a lot of this stuff over the last few years. Myself, I'm different. I've been the guy sitting at home running my business from home,
Starting point is 00:03:19 getting together with friends and family and, you know, talking about how we're upset through COVID and we're cooped up. And, yeah, it doesn't feel normal. There's just no normal anymore. It's been a really tough year. everybody and I was at home doing some cooking and meal prep and house cleaning on Sunday and I had seen some of this was starting and then I got on Facebook and I saw Jeff was live streaming as the convoy was coming through BC and you know
Starting point is 00:03:51 it got me to thinking and I just kept going back throughout the day watching watching and then first thing Monday morning I was back on there again and watching it grow and I myself it just got me excited and I thought you I've been sitting around at home, upset about, you know, the situation and COVID and all these rules and having no freedoms and thought, you know, I have the ability to get out and join this. So what's stopping me? Saw a couple other friends out of PA, Saskatchewan that were, they were also getting involved and going on the convoy. So I got on the phone with them right away. and first thing they said is pack your bags, let's go.
Starting point is 00:04:35 And a couple phone calls made. I didn't want to ride all the way out here myself, so I got a hold of my cousin and said, are you in? And he said, absolutely. So here we are. We left Saskatoon. While the convoy was leaving Regina, we caught up to them, you know, maybe hour or two before Brandon,
Starting point is 00:04:53 and it's just been amazing ever since. You know, talking about catching the convoy, sister and I left Lloyd at 5 p.m. last night, drove all through the night and caught you guys at dried. And I think I'm seeing a little bit cross-eyed right now. I mean, it's been an enjoyable, like, getting caught up to you guys has been, you know, I just wanted to see it. There's not enough people talking about it.
Starting point is 00:05:17 And as we know about our beloved media in this country, it's a little bit slanted, shall we say. And so you just don't hear enough about what's going on. That's what's so nice to sit here on a night and give an update to the people back. home and be like, hey, this is what actually, you know, here's a couple of the guys that are helping lead this thing, driving in it, a part of it. I think it's good to put some human voices to it because, you know, there's some crazy thoughts being thrown out there by whatever side it is. And you get a part of it and sit in the room with you guys for a few moments and you're like,
Starting point is 00:05:51 these are good human beings, you know? And you talk about love and feeling the connections and everything like that. Like some of the videos, some of the kids that you guys have seen on the highways with the signs, man, that's pretty moving. Yeah, it's been absolutely amazing. I do a lot of live streams and stuff for my work now when I do my business consulting business, but it's kind of got to put that on shelf right now because I work with leaders, people starting with companies.
Starting point is 00:06:15 I got to be leading. I can't be telling you to do it. I got to be out doing it myself. And right now, we're in some sort of shift in consciousness and we got to get out there and I got to be leading my people. I got clients that are, you know, businesses are struggling. I got to study it. I got to understand it.
Starting point is 00:06:29 I got to stand up for what's right. pick a lane here. There's only two lanes and pick one and get out there and lead and walk the walk and speak the truth and find the truth. It's like I say a lot of time it's a thousand piece puzzle but they gave us about 10,000, 50,000 pieces to sort through for those thousand pieces and then a real tough puzzle to put together. So yeah, there's a lot of information to look at and sort through and develop your intuition and it's been very inspiring. I left Winnipeg last night. We had a big meeting with some leaders there and and it's pretty tired like you were and we were texting and I was like oh I was just chill and got in that bush I've never seen that country before by road and out towards canora and we booked in dryden so that we because there's no hotels left in canora and we were going to get a couple hours ahead of the convoy so we could do some work in the morning and um I did a live later on on I think on Instagram or something it was so touching as by myself just was nice and calm after a big day in Winnipeg like it was shut down like it was just the absolute the energy in that place was like
Starting point is 00:07:29 We just won. Every Canadian sporting event, NHL, the riders won, the Winnipeg Jets won. Everyone won. Every team, everything, everyone was winning. It was just absolutely amazing, the energy. And I drove past in the middle of the night. It was 9 o'clock in the dark and 30 below. I was pretty tired.
Starting point is 00:07:50 And I looked, I just kind of, because I'm always watching now. And I looked, I seen this flag being waved in the bush from the side of the road. And there was one person out there by themselves. and just cheering all by themselves waving a flag in 30 below and I could just keep I could just keep going then because and just the power you flash your lights you you honk the horn and and they're out there all night long they're just out there and because they just need hope and they just want change and they want to help and they want to be a part of it and hopefully when they see the leadership from the truckers and everyone they're going to find their voices themselves and in their
Starting point is 00:08:29 communities and and sort through this without being shamed for wanting to know what the real narrative is. So, yeah, it's been a very powerful few days for sure. Yeah. Did either of you ever think like the, the swell, the tidal wave of emotion, energy would carry this thing? Like, it's pretty wild to watch online right now. It's pretty wild to follow along on the highway.
Starting point is 00:08:58 And, you know, I'm just, I don't. just tootling along and, you know, a vehicle, and my father was a trucker, drove across these, these roads. As a kid, we went with them, you know, so, like, I fully have mad respect for truckers and understand the place they, the role they play in our society. But, like, did you ever think it would be, like, this much momentum? Like, there's a, CBC and Global and all of them can look at this and try and slant, Trudeau can sit, where he's sitting wherever it is on a surfboard
Starting point is 00:09:31 and talk about whatever he wants to talk about. I'm telling you right now, sitting here in Thunder Bay, they don't have a clue, they don't have a sniff, or they don't want to have a sniff. Did you ever think it would be this much support? Myself, when I first looked at it on Sunday,
Starting point is 00:09:47 I thought, wow, this is pretty awesome. But that was in the afternoon, and by the evening it had totally changed. I believe you guys were going into Calgary that night, and so much it even changed. from the time I started watching till that evening. And by Monday morning, what was transpiring coming out of Calgary, I think you guys went through Medicine Hat, Lethbridge, if I remember correctly.
Starting point is 00:10:10 Or just Medicine Hat? Yeah, we didn't get to Lethbridge. Okay, yeah, so Medicine Hat. And then, you know, venturing towards Regina, and then as well, I started contacting a few of my other friends and hearing of them coming out of PA, Battleford, hitting Saskatoon. Saskatoon also heading to Regina. That's one I knew, and I thought, you know, this is, you know, this is really, it's really changing really fast.
Starting point is 00:10:40 And as we just keep heading east, it's just going to keep growing up. And it's just picking up ahead of steam on its own. So we have, just jump in there. We, we started this, we've been looking for traction, so fielding that, the traction from these, um these rallies have been big we've had some big speakers out across canada we've been touring a lot of different freedom fighters all over between all the big cities and venues and so we got some like i work with uh camloops and salmon arm and and and colonna basically but then the pentictin guys come out and we all just you know just keep keep the energy going keep it keep it happening and and when we left
Starting point is 00:11:19 on um what day was it saturday i think i i think it was saturday i i think it was saturday They've all kind of mushed together, haven't they? Yeah, so I'm in Sycamuse. It's like 15, 20 minutes from Salmon Arm, and I'd have to go back west there. And so I was just kind of packing and getting ready to go, because they were like trying to be there at 2. And I was like, oh, we're going to get to Calgary tonight,
Starting point is 00:11:41 and it's dark in the BC at 4. And I do lots of stuff in Revelstoke, Sycamus area, and I was like, well, I'll just wait for them, and then they're late. And it is what it is. And it's just, we're getting reports. And then the Salmon Arm thing, we've had some pretty big groups there.
Starting point is 00:11:55 And they lit it up in Salmon Arm so much. I literally ran into people in Calgary the next day that I knew and met that went to Kamloops and were so inspired. They went to Salmon Arm and they just kept going. Like Forrest Gump, he just started running and they just kept going. They had no, they had nothing. They still have nothing. No, they haven't packed clothes, toothbrush or nothing.
Starting point is 00:12:19 They're like, I got to go. I got to be a part of this. The energy is just the crude crazy. We've been in two. years, two of the darkest years, I think, I think we'd all agree. We've been in two very, very dark years. And the last three, four days, whatever it is, has been this sliver of hope. And I don't know if I've ever seen this many Canadian flags.
Starting point is 00:12:42 Like, honestly, you know, we talk about the Olympics, absolutely. But if you drove down the highway, would you see Canadian flags out for the Olympics? Maybe, maybe a few. But like every, I don't know, a couple miles. I mean, there's a couple more, and then there's a couple more, and then there's a couple more, and holy crap, there's a whole whack of them. Yeah, you can't find one now, and I had a bunch of them from the summer, and I brought them, I was handing them out now.
Starting point is 00:13:06 They're ripping off on the highway and breaking, and then trying to find them, you can't find them, and locals that you're, these people, literally this morning, I met some people from Lloyd, the boys know him, his, Donna and I got. Oh, Tim, Hilsendager. Yeah, Hilsen Digger. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Timmy's a great guy. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:26 Shout to you, Timmy. Yeah, hi, Timmy. Donna, great meeting you yesterday. They literally met him at the hotel at like 1130 last night and exchange names right away. And it's like Lloyd, yes, I used to play some hockey and Lloyd and blah, blah, blah. Oh, you know this guy, yeah. So everyone knows everyone. Then they buzz me this morning.
Starting point is 00:13:45 They're like, hey, can you come down to the ESO? There's some people here with a bunch of stuff. We can't fit in our truck. They've got a bunch of food. And these like, these like awesome. Patriots. They're like, they're not old. They're just veterans, but they're like your mom's, grandmas. They're like, they got, they got this truckload of stuff and they want to get it to you guys. And then they know I'm kind of helping with everyone. I was like, just, just tell them to,
Starting point is 00:14:09 you know, just go on the road and pass it or whatever. She says, well, they kind of want to make sure. So, so I ripped down there and they filled my truck with boxes of homemade food for everyone. my truck was full and then I and then I came back and I said Brett open up your truck I said I just told him because they didn't know what to do I said I got some guys I said I'll take care of it for you and then my my tailgate froze and my latch broke so and and uh I couldn't get in there and uh buy a new trip around you like this that uh it's a crappy tundry always talk about and so we one of the old guys there he brings out his tools and I said well if we go between the thing we can probably pop the little the roll cover and get it open and we can throw it they had a truck
Starting point is 00:14:51 A stockload of washer fluid or like a whole box full of cases of washer fluid for us. They think of what we're going through. We're running out of washer fluid. We can't stop and eat. We can't. The Vax pass food, crappy food. This food is so good. It's made with love.
Starting point is 00:15:05 You know, the 4,000 meals they made from all the Hutterite colonies around Winnipeg. They came in and feeding everyone on the highway. We got so much food. We have to give it to all these other people just trying to keep and feed everyone. It's just connecting all that love energy, right? So anyways, grab up with us. My truck's full of washer fluid. but the whole box.
Starting point is 00:15:22 The box is full. It's got to be pretty cool, eh? Like you think, well, look at the, you get rolling and you go, yeah, you know, there's a little bit of energy coming,
Starting point is 00:15:30 right? Like, you know, and then all of a sudden you have, like, all these people, um,
Starting point is 00:15:36 just, you know, and I'm just, even my little part that I play, I interviewed Chris Barber there from Saskatcharne. And then I had a whole whack of people. What do truckers need?
Starting point is 00:15:45 I'm like, I don't know, food, probably, you know, I remember ride with dad, homemade food's pretty good, right?
Starting point is 00:15:51 because everybody doesn't want to, you know, the crappy McDonald's or whatever, it'd be nice to have something. Well, geez, what you're talking about just warms the heart, doesn't? It's crazy to me. You know, everybody is just they want to get back to life. They see this as an opportunity to get back to life. Whether the government sees that is like irrelevant at this point. It's like, everybody can feel it. Anybody who's paying attention, it doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:16:17 Their creed, their race, their VACs, status. It doesn't matter. Everybody just wants back to life. Just leave us alone. We're done with this. We just want our country back. And this movement, you know, in my 24 hours of driving straight and seeing the remnants as I go through the provinces of it, you can see how like rallying it's been uniting. We haven't had a prime minister in, what has he been in guys? Seven years. He hasn't united a jack squat. It just divides everyone. Everybody. It's my biggest fear is that, you I go back to Jamie Sinclair, shout it to Jamie. He was a 33 military event, and I was saying this before.
Starting point is 00:16:56 It always starts with a little division. And I mean, geez, we were talking about what Trudeau's saying, just out and about. Like, he ain't mince him words right now, and it's like, this is a small fringe group. It's like, I don't know. I'm traveling on the highway. It looks like it's a pretty healthy group. And I want to be a part of this group. I don't want to be a part of that.
Starting point is 00:17:15 Now, we can rattle on about Trudeau and everything else. day, whatever this is, Canora, Thunder Bay, what sticks out in your mind? For everyone back home, they're going, you know, northern Ontario, as dad, and as I know, playing in Dryden, it's one of the dangerous, most dangerous stretches of highway in Canada. What sticks out in your guys' mind? Well, for me, one of the biggest things was me and my cousin Jordan, catching that convoy before Brandon rolling in there. The overwhelming support, the food, just the people everywhere.
Starting point is 00:17:56 And then we pull out of Brandon and we think, okay, we're going to have this long stretch to Winnipeg, right? I don't know if there was any stretch where we went more than two to three kilometers that whole way without people standing on either side of the highway. Chearing us on, flag signs, you name it. So it was, you know, we never got bored for one minute of that trip, right? Amazing. And then we got ahead of the convoy coming out of Winnipeg.
Starting point is 00:18:23 So we were kind of pretty far ahead. And we stopped a few times along the way and chatted with people and had some really good conversations, met wonderful people, but we were kind of ahead of the convoy. And we were getting to Canora early, you know, just, I think it was maybe five kilometers out. And we see this wood sign. and says barbecue and hot chocolate free stop ahead and oh didn't you know we're in the pitch black here right and about 30 seconds later we see all these flashing lights well it's at the fire department right and they got all the fire trucks out big burning barrel bonfire going we roll in there and yeah we spent
Starting point is 00:19:01 20 minutes half hour with these guys amazing right get back to our hotel uh look back discuss the amazing day we had But then one of the other things that stands out is getting up in the morning and wanting to see what all the mainstream media has said. And judging my experience over that day, how wonderful everybody in the convoy, all the communities, just everybody pulling together in the most positive fashion, not experiencing one negative thing when you're in bumper to bumper, hour long lineups. people high-fiving, hugging, giving all the love. And then, yeah, looking at these stories that the media's got, I'm like, this does not even make any sense, right? So that really stands out to me.
Starting point is 00:19:53 So that's what everybody else is seeing versus what, or a lot of what other people are seeing versus what we're experiencing, what we just experienced. And it's so not the same whatsoever. I really can't get over right, right across. across Canada this entire way, no matter the time of day and the weather conditions through the prairies have been pretty crazy, like 30 below and breezy. And people aren't sitting in their trucks just with the lights on.
Starting point is 00:20:24 They are standing outside. There wasn't a ton of bonfires, but they're standing outside their trucks jumping and waving and it's crazy. I go in last out there for five minutes and these people are out there for five, six hours. it's absolutely like the energy that they have to just do that and to and to do that stuff I guess one of the big thing that stood out today was we got in and we had this massive at the racetrack with this massive area to park all the trucks and semis and cars and it can't even count uh Tyler Scott's asking how many trucks are there is like I can't count them I did a little bit of a live went through the parking lot they were rolling in trying to get fuel to get parked get staged for tomorrow have driver meetings and pilot truck meetings and stuff. Just did a quick hot lap there and, you know, connected with everyone and thanked him. We got a buddy that one's a big truck and trailer operation in Winnipeg. He's got 100 trailers in Sarnia that he offered that he needs him hauled back so any of the guys are out here from
Starting point is 00:21:26 without a trailer or a trip home. Yeah, Bob Talent. Yeah, so they can haul back these 100 trailers. He's got out in Sarnia, get them back there when we're done taking care of business in Ottawa. but I get the last truck I seen I seen this you know those uh trailers those little fold together trailers people take to the beach to put all your towels and beaches in there there's this mom stomping across the parking lot or in the the the plowed field where we got for all the trucks to sleep at night it's like it's like woodstock and she's all bundled up and she's pulling this uh beach trailer and I'm looking I'm like what the heck is she like Like, what's going on?
Starting point is 00:22:08 Like, it's like, Canada. You never know what someone's up to with a beach trailer in the middle of winter all dressed up. It's this young mom, like a younger mom. And I look, and she's carrying a one-year-old in a snoot suit all bundled up. And she's pulling this trailer through the snow. Like, it's plowed, but it's still, you're still pulling a trailer. She's got this kid that's all bundled up in this big sack of potatoes. And she's going to these trucks.
Starting point is 00:22:34 she uh she's got a washer fluid and food and i'm like you're amazing said you mama bears are leading this and now the alpha males are taking care of business and uh then she uh she went off about how her little baby can't go to daycare and she can't go here and can't go here and she needs to stand up right now for everyone. And it's the mama bears out there in the pitch block, haul and washer fluid in a beach wagon for everyone. And that's the power of this. That's the power, it's the mama bears.
Starting point is 00:23:23 I don't know what to say to that, you know. You're getting me right in the fields. It's been so much emotion. That's what joining in, you've been able to see and see the effect on people. One of the things I've noticed, and maybe you guys can correct me if I'm wrong, you know, I'd heard reports at the start about way scales being open. I haven't seen a single way scale open.
Starting point is 00:23:47 Is that accurate? I believe I saw one open. I wasn't paying total attention, but I saw a couple trucks pull into one. Yeah. Is there anything else that, you know, trucks breaking down? Anything like that? Like I assume you're going through some of the worst weather on the plant. You know, like Canada isn't exactly, uh, thank you.
Starting point is 00:24:10 You know, the most habitable place on earth. We have, uh, our, uh, our team is so amazing with, uh, Pat King and, uh, and Freedom George and all the boys and all the pilot guys. They do this for a living. They, they, they move big rigs around. Yeah. They can operate stuff and get, and get stuff. And minus 30 ain't stopping them, fellas.
Starting point is 00:24:31 No. And they, we are, like, they, they got it organized. We've got mechanic trailers. We've got flat decks and hoists and if stuff's breaking down, we're putting it on trailers and we're getting going. We're stopping. We're fixing. We've got mechanics. We're helping everyone and anyone and getting it done. If people are in the ditch, we're yanking them out. We got winches. We got tools, supplies, parts, and everyone's on board. We've got guys offering shops along the way. And we got a long list of shops of Freedom Fight and Patriots that are offering up free labor, if anyone's having vehicle problems or anything, just bring it in.
Starting point is 00:25:10 Bring it in. Bring it in. Bring it in. We'll get the parts. We'll fix it. No labor. Let's go. Let's get going here. And everyone's just doing whatever they can. You know, it's just absolutely amazing. Like the equipment that's being out there, the zoom booms with flags hanging and stuff. And it's just the energy is is overwhelming. You can't even describe it. We pull up to a lot of spots and interview people. Because we want to get the message out. And I know Sean, we talked, to get Sean just pulling over and talking to people. Yeah, I hadn't even thought about it. You know, in fairness, I was like in a blind haze of like,
Starting point is 00:25:45 we've got to catch this thing, got to catch this thing, got to catch this thing. But now you got me thinking a little clearly, geez, tomorrow, you're absolutely right. Yeah. I should be grabbing some people off the highway and seeing what, because I saw guys waving a giant flag. Oh, you were talking out in the cold minus, you know, 20 as we roll in here to Thunder Bay. out there by himself swinging this giant
Starting point is 00:26:08 Canadian flag and I'm like wow that's you're like wow right and a guy should have just pulled over went and got a couple minutes from him because I mean that'd be just as powerful as anything at this point well yeah because they get out of the thinking conscious mind and they speak from the heart and you just give them a question and they have the answer just like that
Starting point is 00:26:26 and Brett witnessed that today at one thing we had the fire trucks we stopped to see the people with the fire trucks and they're so amazing we had like group hugs and and Brett was just joining up with Misty Wind. We'll hook you up with her too. And I said, well, we got to stop at a lot of place. Like we're interviewing and doing lots of little snippets and getting it out there. So people hear it from the people.
Starting point is 00:26:47 What's really going on, right? And Brett, Brett and Jordan has just been enjoying this journey and supporting us and helping us. And we see anything unique, which is everyone's unique. But it's just like the little kids that are out there and what they're doing. And the signs and the power of the energy and the stuff. And yeah, just connecting with the fire truck one today. They told us, they told us, you guys, can you go up and support the lady at the corner store? This is in the middle of nowhere there and Lake Country there and wherever the heck that was.
Starting point is 00:27:21 Yeah. So she has the store, she's got the store, the liquor store, in the store, and the post office. And the federal government ripped the post office a contract away from her because she wouldn't Vax or mass. or do all this stuff in her store, which is a big hit to her community, and she might end up losing all, like, it's a tough hit. So we stopped in and did some stuff with her there today too. And, yeah, it's some powerful stories.
Starting point is 00:27:51 You know what you're imparting on me? One of the things I hadn't really thought is on the trip across Canada, you're meeting some very, you know, I think your story is unique. I think your story, I think all three of your stories unique. But you're seeing what makes Canada great. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. They keep thanking us and we keep thanking them.
Starting point is 00:28:10 Yeah, and you keep thanking them. They think there's something going to happen in Ottawa. It's happening on the side of the road. Yeah. It's happening on the side of the road. It's a done deal. Yeah, we have a destination, but this journey of connection, that's what's happening. And it's uniting everyone.
Starting point is 00:28:22 Do you realize there's a convoy now going to Saskatchewan, Parliament, and Regina in Winnipeg? I believe, I don't want to overstep now. Now I've got to think of it. Is it Ammonton or is it Calgary? I think it's Aminton. Lloydminster, my hometown. everybody's watching what you're doing and it's spreading like wildfire. Well, all our freedom fighters are so well organized back there that couldn't be on the trip.
Starting point is 00:28:48 They needed this momentum and they've been battling this stuff for two years and these freedom rallies and stuff. We've had some big ones and we have a freedom rally once a month, a nationwide one, and then every weekend too. And they are like grabbing that momentum and rallying the new troops and bringing them out, go to the ledge buildings and it's going to be big. So you guys got to get out there this Saturday and support in every town and city. And if you don't have one organized, drive to one or organize one in your own community.
Starting point is 00:29:18 Bring your community together. Here's some hope. When I was at the Lloyd sendoff of the trucks leaving, the diversity of people there was something I hadn't seen at a Lloyd Minster. And that's just my own eyes. That's my own just evidence of what I saw. But I saw families.
Starting point is 00:29:35 I saw community leaders. I saw a bunch of people that I would have never saw a year ago. And, you know, on that day, they were all there. I was like, oh, isn't that interesting, right? And now, as you slide across these, you know, these different destinations, and tomorrow you're heading towards Sue St. Marie, you're starting to see what that ripple effect is having across all of Canada, right? Like, the fact that they're organizing one in Saskatchewan, get to Saskatchewan.
Starting point is 00:30:02 It sounds like Saturday, roll on towards Parliament. Sounds like Saturday, as you guys roll into Ottawa, they're rolling into Amminton, Winnipeg, anywhere. If you got one, be rolling in there. It sounds like it's spreading like that, and that's pretty cool. You will honestly meet the most amazing people. Like my freedom family is the vibe of people that are living life to the fullest and just want to give her and connect people and share.
Starting point is 00:30:32 and service to others. And that's what I love to do is I like to serve those who serve others. And that's what we need. And that's the shift in consciousness. So I believe we really needed these tough times to grow and stretch. And I think we're getting there. And people are, you know, the way we're seeing. I was literally thinking, well, maybe I'm going to go to another country and help one of these third world countries.
Starting point is 00:30:55 And I'll go over there and work and help them. And somewhere with a lot of gratitude. And people have done a lot of growing and a lot of healing. And, you know, tough times create strong, strong people, right? And easy times create weak people. So I think we're weathering that. We're growing and we're uniting and from every walk of life. And, you know, no more bullshit, no more hating on each other.
Starting point is 00:31:20 And everyone just getting along. No VACs, mass, this, that. I don't care what you're thinking. Just like this is get along and let's figure it out. Let's get to the truth. And then we can make new decisions, but we all really want just peace, harmony, and love. Yeah, I didn't know, obviously I've been behind the wheel
Starting point is 00:31:38 for the last couple of days, but you saying that about each province, I think if that happens, right, a lot of the people that maybe would, that were out supporting as we were driving through all these communities, you know, not everybody can make this journey, right? us talking about what we felt in the last few days. I think if everybody does that in our own home provinces,
Starting point is 00:32:05 they'll probably really get to experience a lot of the same feelings that we've been experiencing as we've been traveling cross-country to Ottawa. Yeah, I would agree. Yeah. I mean, you're mimicking it. Yeah. And I mean, our provinces aren't small. No.
Starting point is 00:32:20 This is driving across Lloyd Minster from one end to the other. You want to drive across Saskatchewan to get to Parliament? I mean, if you're in Regina, it's no different than being in Ottawa and driving to Ottawa. I mean, I get that. But if you're on all different parts of Saskatchew, create a convoy, get moving. Yeah. Right. And if they're doing that, we're going to be sitting in Ottawa looking at what's going on back home, right?
Starting point is 00:32:41 Just the same. It's equally as exciting. Well, I'm trying to find the name here as we sit and discuss this. I had it sent to me, and now I'm going to be looking for it here, folks. Give me a moment. I had the name sent to me, Patrick Keller. Patrick Keller is the one that at first brought it up, I believe. I hope I'm not speaking out of turn.
Starting point is 00:33:07 So if you're looking, head to Patrick Keller's Twitter, he talks about it. Let's do this in Saskatchewan. He wants to be here, right? I got that video sent to me and said, you should talk about this. I was like, yeah, absolutely. I mean, who doesn't want to talk about something cool like this going on? It's spreading. Great idea.
Starting point is 00:33:22 Yeah. Well, and, you know, I think just in this conversation, until you brought that up. I didn't, like I said, I've been behind the wheel. I didn't realize that was going on. My first thought is how cool is that? Because over the past few days, I have three daughters, but my middle daughter, 13, her name's Alexis.
Starting point is 00:33:42 I started, I started, you know, she texted me and said, hey, how's the trip going, Dad? And I started texting her some videos and some pictures. And she says, wow, that looks really amazing. tell me more about it and so we got on the phone we talked about it and then I can't remember if it was
Starting point is 00:34:00 I know for sure Winnipeg I think yeah she was in school still when we rolled through Brandon but I sent her some videos pictures but then when we got to Winnipeg I phacimed her and I just had my cousin you know put the phone up on the dash
Starting point is 00:34:13 as we're rolling in there and you know sitting in that convoy for and she just says I am so jealous I'm not there right now I wish I could be there there. It seems amazing. And so for that to maybe go on in Saskatchewan. This can spread. Yeah, this can spread. And you don't have to go so far from home and get the same feeling. 100%. Yeah. And do the, not just the same feeling, but accomplish the same things that we're
Starting point is 00:34:41 trying to. Well, all you're doing is you're bringing people together. It's funny how bringing people together gets, you know, everybody's smiling and this energy going. And we've, I mean, for two years, nobody wanted to talk to anyone. Now everybody's talking. geez you're a pretty nice person you're smiling oh this is kind of nice like that can spread everywhere you don't have to act like we're all enemies we're not yeah it's just hugs and like it's so it's so amazing the hugs everyone's given out hugs and um in Saskatchewan alone i'm really connected with uh with that because that's my home province and um really got in the game there with uh um one of our first tours across the country um when one of our big freedom fighters
Starting point is 00:35:22 Chris, Sky was always with us in her Regina and guys were coming across. But behind the scenes, Tamara LaVoye in Regina, she's out there every weekend for two years in the cold. Taking on, I don't know how many, 20 tickets of bullshit. And you can't back her down. That is a mom at homeschools, coaches, personal coaches, and so many things. and she's a warrior and she works with all the freedom fighters across Canada and won't take crap for anyone so she works with um what's the guy's name from saskatoon um the police officer that they fired for going to the face painting in the park oh yeah uh i know of it um i can't remember
Starting point is 00:36:11 his name though dang i know exactly who you're talking about yeah yeah so when he jumped on board and and then and our calgary a calgary police officer that uh jumped on board um and then mark uh gris Patriot out of Saskatoon, Friesen. Mark Friesen was a hockey guy with us, and he's been having some health stuff, and he's really, he's really one of the pioneers in this thing, and then he got pretty sick there, and he didn't think he was going to make the
Starting point is 00:36:34 trip, and we've been connecting a little bit, but he's with us in spirit, and I think I check with him tonight, I think he was jumping in a big rig, and they're going to haul... And they're going to haul ass. They're going to haul ass, and get him, because he's got to be here, because the gris is a huge part of this, right? So, all these guys, like all these guys... I think I'm
Starting point is 00:36:50 living proof. If you want to be here, Jump in a vehicle. Don't kill yourself. I mean, like we pulled over last night, took a siesta while the Winnipeg wind, blue sideways and made life a little difficult. It took her time, and we got across, and there's still time. You want to come. I mean, getting your vehicle.
Starting point is 00:37:08 And I mean, obviously, the further you are away, the harder it gets. But, I mean, you're sitting in Ontario. You're sitting in Manitoba. You're not that far behind this thing. Yeah, one of our freedom fighters out of Sastoun, his name's Derek Poppewell. Well, he's actually looking for someone to jump in with. He's not really connected to all this. He can't, but he's like, these guys are too scared to even come right now,
Starting point is 00:37:27 and they're so far behind this and that. He's like, Razzie, you got it. I said, I drove out solo from BC, but I work in my truck, and it's like, I like, I like, I like being by myself, or, but, like, do you come in tomorrow or whenever, but, so he's looking for someone that any guys from Lloyd want to come through. There's a guy in Sastu, like, just put it out there, put it out to the universe. Yeah, put it out to the universe. Yeah, and it's going to come.
Starting point is 00:37:46 And the nice thing is, is at nighttime, you're driving nowhere, so I made up mad time on you guys in the middle of the night. Exactly. You can get a lot of work done. You can turn the radio off. You can do some thinking, meditating, catch a podcast like Sean or someone and kind of catch up on some TV. Yeah, you hear that.
Starting point is 00:38:00 Sean Newman podcast. Shooters at the back bar, 275. It's not too hard, though, when you put, like, I guess I didn't tell you, Jeff there. When we got to the hotel here, I was chatting with my buddy and he says, man, I sure wish I was with you guys
Starting point is 00:38:16 right now. So, you know, I didn't know you had a friend that, so maybe we'll, we'll try to link the two of them up together. And yeah, it's a long haul, but they can basically jump in that vehicle and just take turns drive until they catch us. So Brett and Jordan, sorry, I just jump in there. Brett's like, hey, do you got a room?
Starting point is 00:38:33 I'm like, I kind of just like, at Universe deliver my rooms all the time and then Misty Wind, Shin Goose there. She's like, Jeff, she's like the organizer of organizers. Like, where do you book? But you better get a room because, what was that place we were in where you played hockey? Dryden.
Starting point is 00:38:46 Dryden. And she goes, we've got to go two hours down the road tonight. And then we had meetings in Winnipe. And I'm like, she's just like talk so fast like the wind. And I'm like, oh, the universal deliver room. No, universe sold out all the rooms in canoras. There's no hotels. Like, you're going to have to get a room.
Starting point is 00:38:59 And she told me that in the morning. And then I phoned the comfort in and dried. And they're like, yeah, we got three rooms left. I'm like, okay, yeah, I'll get back to you. And then all of a sudden we're leaving Winnipeg after some meetings with some, uh, some, uh, first nation elders and, uh, and, uh, hereditaries. And we leave and I'm like, oh, shit. I didn't, uh, I didn't, uh, book a room.
Starting point is 00:39:19 And so I check and I was like, oh, man, they're going to get me. Then you're talking. Yeah, no. And then Brett's like, I said, Brett, can you just like be like my little room angel? So like, yeah, I got a got to date. And it's like, I don't care. I want to be with people. But I told Misty today we're talking about stuff.
Starting point is 00:39:32 And I said, I purposely don't book rooms because I want to find out. I want it to be a surprise what I'm getting for Christmas because it's every day is Christmas to me. And it's what source and universe and God's going to deliver to me every day. And it just for me, it's just my room is just a reminder. that I'm always going to be looked after and I'm always going to be safe and always going to be okay. It's kind of just a little game I play, but it's, yeah, it catches you once in a while,
Starting point is 00:39:56 but it's been pretty fun and we always have an abundance of rooms. Right now, we've got some interesting scenarios in our room right now, but I don't know if we're going to talk about that because we love everyone and everything, right, except Cory Dillon. Well, boys, I appreciate you doing this. I'm not going to hold you all night. I do appreciate you giving me some of your time. I know we're all a little bit tired, gassed, everything else.
Starting point is 00:40:18 I mean, it's great to meet you guys, honestly. Yeah, thank you for having us. Yeah, thanks for having me to as well. Yeah, absolutely. Very nice meeting you all. And I'll drive safe. I'll be falling around or I'll be buzzing around and look forward to seeing what comes here in the next couple days.
Starting point is 00:40:35 Right on. Right on. Take care.
