Starting point is 00:00:02 Welcome to the Masha. Tell me whether I'm wrong or right. Easter west up or down side to side. I sit to stand and fall to fly. Of all of my impulsive plans, popping locking salsa dances on demand. I follow leading off the map and stop the chatter, scream happily. Welcome to the Masha. Welcome to the MASH shop.
Starting point is 00:00:20 Welcome to the MASH up. Welcome to the MASH up. So I go up for dinner with my buddy John. Long Lossed, haven't seen him forever. We go grab a bite to eat. and our waitress, she comes by and she's like, hey, is one of you wearing cologne? I'm like, not mean.
Starting point is 00:00:50 He's like, well, like a little bit? Why? And then, so this is a nice place. This is a nice place with talented servers. But, you know, we're both happily locked away. But the thing about it is, is because she says, well, one of the other waitresses, every time she walks by,
Starting point is 00:01:12 she smells it and she thinks it smells really great. So she wants to know which one of you has it. And I know it's not me. I know it's my buddy John. And he's going to feel awkward and gushy and whatever else. And so I'm like, well, tell her to come over here and ask. And so then everybody lasts for a minute. And then she goes over,
Starting point is 00:01:30 mentions it to the waitress. And she points over at our table. And she's like, I just hear her kind of from across the restaurant, be like, That's the wrong table. Not those guys. You've entered that phase of your life. Not those guys.
Starting point is 00:01:50 If you were ever in another phase, too's. How's Toos doing this week? Tuesday's is doing good. Tuesday is, uh, Tuesday gets to go to work after this. So, no mash-up beers. Well, I tell you what,
Starting point is 00:02:04 um, the last time I saw you, less than a week ago. Yep. So I get back in I miss mashup 2-25 as everybody knows right home family comes on And I roll in to 2's house early in the morning And basically go hey
Starting point is 00:02:22 We're gonna record something Because people are wondering what the heck is going on I didn't know he was coming over I was planning on meeting him And then he's like I'm gonna be at your house in 30 minutes That's right So I show up at 2's house We do the thing right
Starting point is 00:02:36 He interjects with all the tranny jokes and the fairy jokes and all the jokes. And then he proceeds, he made me breakfast, which was fantastic. But then he's like, you're about to drive how far? I was like, ah, 48 hours. And he's like, let me make you some sandwiches. I'm like, too, you don't need to do that.
Starting point is 00:02:51 I just need to get on the road. Then he starts frying up bacon. And I'm like, oh, my goodness, it smells so good. Okay, fine. I'll wait. Those two sandwiches were delightful. And I did last until medicine had to get the second one down. Okay?
Starting point is 00:03:04 But then he gave me a whole bunch of things, including pop. sandwiches. The sandwiches were phenomenal. They were like a grilled cheese with bacon, except like... Grilled cheese with smoked, possibly illegal cheddar and Swiss. And a shit ton of thick cut bacon. And that was when I told you that the second one's got a surprise at it.
Starting point is 00:03:29 The surprise was like quadruple bacon. Yeah, so like they were fantastic. Okay. As good as twos can describe it, think even better. Your stomach enjoyed it. My stomach enjoyed it. He also gave me like three sets of Pop-Tarts. I was like, Pop-Tarts.
Starting point is 00:03:44 I was just grabbing whatever I could for me. I know. I know. It was awesome. It was awesome. Because I had to notice. I was driving the second night. Second night I hit Thunder Bay.
Starting point is 00:03:54 And I got into the 22 murders, Burke by Paul Polango. Shout up to Kevin for sending that to me. I'd ask for a whole bunch of suggestions. And I was supposed to interview Paul. Did you listen to any of mine? I've listened to parts of it. I haven't listened to the entirety. Okay?
Starting point is 00:04:12 Just give me a sec here and let me get through. I got hooked in, yeah, I know he's going to scratch his head. I got hooked into Paul Palangos' book, which was 20 hours. And then I realized it was a second one. So that was 39 hours of listening. That's what I did.
Starting point is 00:04:26 I got sucked into these 22 murders in Halifax, Port-a-Pick. Anyways, where the Pop-Tarts come in is I kept driving. It was like two in the morning. and I'm on the northern route. I wasn't going by Lake Superior, so there's like nothing up there.
Starting point is 00:04:40 And I'm driving. And I'm like, oh, man, I should probably pull over at some point and, like, stop and sleep a little. And I'm like, ah, but I could just keep going a little bit longer. And I was really into the book. So I, like, reached around in the dark, you know, and you're like kind of fumbling around.
Starting point is 00:04:55 I wonder what can I find? And I pulled out a Pop-Tart. I'm like, yeah, what the heck? And that Pop-Tart was the greatest pop-tart I've ever had at two and three. the morning and I was up like a lightning bolt for the next hour just munching on a pop tart listening to this book in northern Ontario and pitch dark there wasn't a cloud in the sky the moon's out the stars are shining semi trucks are going every which way twos you safely got me to my next
Starting point is 00:05:23 stop with a pot-tart nice choice thanks man it was just fortuitous I was just looking around we got uh I mean it's an old house so it's got like the cold storage room in the basement which is perfect, you know, if and when the apopsicle comes. And, uh, and then I'm like, okay, well, what do we got in here that, you know, I, I can't give you like a giant bag of flour or, you know, a whole bunch of can. I'm sure Mrs. Toos came home and she's like, where is everything? Oh, Sean was driving 48 hours. I had to just load a mom.
Starting point is 00:05:56 Tooth through just everything on the count of this and this. What could you bag? We put this in it. And then, and then we stopped by, we stopped by the store and grabbed a bunch of drinks for you. And she's like, you're going to take all of my waters. I'm like, you're getting groceries in like an hour. It's fine. He gave me one monster. And I, you know, like, I always think energy drinks is my last resort. I'm like, I will, I will drink it as a last resort. So I sat and I put it up and I'm like, I'm not drinking you. I'm not drinking you. And I did not drink that monster.
Starting point is 00:06:26 I know you'll feel sad for it because it was yours. It met a garbage can just before Nova Scotia because I'm like, I don't need it. And I'm quite shocked. that I didn't need it. Yeah, I know. It looked appetizing. And now you're back in Halifax. Back in Halifax. Yep.
Starting point is 00:06:41 Rattle off some interviews yesterday. And here I am, mashup 226. But last Friday. And you're a big hamper? Yeah. All right. Sweet. And that curtain behind you, that's the one that the hutter rates let you keep?
Starting point is 00:06:55 Yes, correct. Okay. Yep. Happy mashup, folks. I'm happy to be back. Mashup 226. How's everybody doing? today. All right, we've got a lot to get to, okay? And maybe an appearance by Jim Sinclair.
Starting point is 00:07:15 I don't know what you did to piss him off, but supposedly he's coming in hot and heavy. I don't know. Is that true? We'll see. We'll see. Maybe. I mean, you know, the grass, the grass is still growing. He might, he might not get in. Yeah, well, he's got to cut grass. For sure. For sure he does. All right, mashup 2-26. Happy Airborne Friday, to all the military vets. I know IT is about Jim, but I sure he isn't coming in a yell. I did stop. We actually have an article for for Airborne. Excuse me, Friday.
Starting point is 00:07:45 This is from Holly Dohn, Blacklocks. Veterans Canada, Veterans Ombudsman Canada says it didn't have time to invite Afghan war vets to speak at ceremonial groundbreaking for National Monument to Afghan War dead. 40-minute ceremony heard from non-combatants, including minister. Now, this was on the 25th anniversary of our excursion into Afghanistan.
Starting point is 00:08:12 And they didn't have time to invite any veterans. They literally had 25 years to plan this. And this is classic government. Classic government. We should have, if anything, we should have started planning this memorial before, the towers got hit. Hmm. Well, I'm sure if Jim... All right, Cood's six and a half.
Starting point is 00:08:43 Do you got anything for Coutes six and a half? I actually realized... Do I have anything for the Cs six and a half? Oh, okay. Okay. There we go. Here we go. Judge who praised BC drug dealers in court case cannot be trusted on the bench. Now, for those of you who don't know,
Starting point is 00:08:58 the BC Superior Court has recently ruled that dealing drugs is a constitutional right in BC because the ripple effect of it is that the people who do the drugs have access to the drugs. And so you can't convict somebody for providing a constitutional right. And so his charges of being a fucking drug dealer got thrown out because it is now a constitutional right to be a drug dealer in British Columbia. Compare that to the Coutts.
Starting point is 00:09:35 point five. Okay. This one's even better. Within 10 days, two pedophile child killers were given temporary passes to leave prison. Now, one of them wanted to get out on day excursions to
Starting point is 00:09:51 take free cooking lessons provided by the Canadian government. Now, both men are pedophiles who committed their crimes in the only 2000s and whose victims would now be in their 30s. Do you know why they would be in their 30s now and are not currently? because these people fucking murdered them.
Starting point is 00:10:07 Mm-hmm. Okay. Shane Ertmood was convicted of first-degree murder for the 2000 abduction, rape, and murder of 10-year-old Heather Thomas. And scarcely more than a week later on
Starting point is 00:10:23 September 11th, the board then granted the exact same concession to Douglas Lambeer, a repeat child sex offender who strangled a 9-year-old boy to death in 2005. So you've got these guys getting off after having gotten off. When I interviewed Byron Christopher at the restaurant, our waitress,
Starting point is 00:10:49 her dad had been killed on the street in the small town we were in in New Brunswick, and the killer was back on the street. She talked about meeting him on the street. Was that in the interview? I haven't listened to it yet. No. So this was after we got talking to her. and she was asking what the heck we did and who Byron was because we were in a restaurant and
Starting point is 00:11:12 Byron's like, you like that photo? I looked at it. I'm like, yeah, I mean, it's a nice photo. Like it was just a huge photo, right? He's like, I took it. And I'm like, what? He's like, yeah, just look. There's my name.
Starting point is 00:11:23 And I'm like, okay. So I was in Byron's hometown and he toured me around this hometown. And the waitress, though, was telling us this story. And I'm like, oh, my God. so um yeah and when i was in newfoundland there was a lady that told me she knew about a murder and i was like okay and she's like i don't want to talk about it i'm like what she's like yeah i don't trust the cops i'm like huh i don't even know where to put that in my brain right now so um the strange continues to pick up steam twos and um um
Starting point is 00:12:04 When it comes to our, you know, justice system, our criminal system, whatever we're going to call it. The coup six and a half seems like it is the tip of the iceberg. Well, I mean, I think we've had one week in the past, what, three years probably that we've been doing this. It's been silent. Yeah, we're like, yeah, I got nothing this week. And I bet you I could have found something if I'd have had more time to look. But you've got all of this stuff happening on a weekly base. And meanwhile, the actual fucking coots guys got, you know, as Zane pointed out, their appeals got shut down this week.
Starting point is 00:12:44 They get sentenced to six and a half years for that. And, you know, you got Tamara Leach, Chris Barber, everything they went through. And you can rape and murder children repeatedly. And the government will give you day release for cooking classes. Okay. pipeline where do you want to start? Do you want to start with Brian Gene?
Starting point is 00:13:08 Do you want Avi Lewis? Yeah, let's talk about this big monumental announcement and how fucking important it is and wonderful and spectacular and all of this stuff. I mean, I really want Brian Gene to hear about this. You can see him in the background here in this picture. And so whether he listens to this podcast or not,
Starting point is 00:13:26 he will hear about this because those are some giant fucking ears. What a great day to be. in Albertan and a Canadian. The Pacific Link Pipeline has been designated a project of national interest. It is due to the hard work of our Premier Daniel Smith with Prime Minister Mark Carney. If built, the pipeline will create 140,000 jobs across Canada and inject tens of billions of dollars into our economy every year, including right here in Fort McMorne. Murray and Lack La Bish.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Most important word in that entire fucking announcement. If. If. If. Seriously. We're what? 17, 18 days away from this fucking referendum. We've been fighting for shit like this for literal fucking decades.
Starting point is 00:14:27 The conservatives had their, we're pro pipeline outwardly, but we're also going to bog it down in red tape so that we can still salvage some votes in eastern Canada stance. And then the liberals under Justin Trudeau with Mark Carney as the economic advisor, had the fuck right off and die stance as far as oil and gas went. And then now they've got the here. This is a token gesture for something that might happen down the road. Please consider voting to stay in this fucking shit show. because this isn't this isn't like you can't just flip a fucking switch on a pipeline
Starting point is 00:15:10 okay this is an announcement to consider what this looks like down the road it got it got designated a project of national interest which means in terms of practicality and the bureaucracy it's now got a year to figure out what route it's going to fucking take this is not the same as saying here I gave you a pipeline this is this is the abusive husband saying, I'm going to quit drinking in 2032 and I'm going to get a job by 2037 and I'm going to stop beating you sometime in the early 2040s.
Starting point is 00:15:49 As far as promises go, that's pretty much where we're at in terms of the tangibility. And it's being presented as a giant fucking win by people like Brian Biggiers Gene and Mark Carney and Daniel Smith. It isn't. There is no win here. This is just a fucking empty promise.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Believe me, baby, I can change. It's a better signal to's than the No More Pipelines, Bill. It doesn't. It's the exact, it's not a better signal or a worse signal. It is a better signal. It all end up with no fucking pipelines. We'll see. You're just talking about the window dressing.
Starting point is 00:16:32 That's it. In terms of practicality, this has had the, exact same net effect on the amount of pipelines in this country as the no pipelines act. This is fuck all. This is nothing. Look, it's worthless. What did it accomplish? You know what?
Starting point is 00:16:52 The only thing, the only industry in this country that has been any good, any, any, the only industry that has been well served by the liberals and the conservatives and the UCP, the only industry that does well with this political fucking shit show that is Canada is the podium makers. The new signs. Canada's strong for all.
Starting point is 00:17:18 Oh, I mean, it's great. Like, honestly, you know, people talk about like, oh, big pharma and big this, big that. Honestly, I bet you, I bet you the lobbyist for big podium. They got their fingers real deep in the likes of Brian Jean and Corey Hogan.
Starting point is 00:17:33 Abby Lewis, leader of the NDP, the federal. Yeah, because here's where the plot thickens. Yes. Abby Lewis threw out a big announcement, and then he wrote a bunch of bullshit and idiot, French, and some in English, including throwing billions in public money behind a pipeline at a time of climate breakdown while sweeping aside environmental protections,
Starting point is 00:17:58 meaningful indigenous consultation, and workers' rights to strike is absolutely not in the national interest. It is just another gift to an oil industry already on track to make $100 billion in wartime profits this year alone. We pay, we take on the risk, and they reap the rewards. It's interesting how incredibly right he is and how incredibly wrong he is at the same time. We should not pay. We should not take on the risk. And we should have nothing to do with any of the rewards.
Starting point is 00:18:28 This is something that this whole pipeline announcement with big podium standing in front. of it. This is a toddler who's super happy that he just made a poopie in the toilet. This is something that every other country in the world does on a daily basis and doesn't even bother mentioning it. This is the I made a poopie government. You know, you know when you're trying to potty train a kid? And then you're like, oh, that is so wonderful. You went all in the toilet all by yourself and you only went through three rolls of toilet paper you're such a big boy you should be really happy for yourself hi-five i have actually sorry wash your hands first and then we'll high-five this is that and they're expecting us to just give them a shitty hand high-five afterwards
Starting point is 00:19:24 no motherfucker if we wanted a bunch of toddlers running this we would elect actual fucking toddlers. We would get some three-year-old named Minksy, who still sucks her thumb, to get up there with some four-year-old named Noah who won't do a press conference without his binky. Because if you want fucking adulation and applause for doing the bare fucking minimum, and not even doing the bare-fucking minimum, you want adulation and applause for announcing that at some future point you will endeavor to partake upon the bare fucking minimum what in the actual fuck is wrong with you you need to fucking gut check because that is not something to be proud of and now we've got abby lewis we've got we've got a breakup breakup a schism a schism in the ndp party because abby lewis
Starting point is 00:20:24 is like oh i don't like this and the heed nensi says we are very pleased that the southern route pipeline, which we've been advocating for for many months over Daniel Smith's objections, is moving forward. We consulted extensively with industry to realize this route was the most feasible and most likely to get built, blah, blah, blah. It's worth noting this is not the Pipeline Smith promise. She insisted on a different route. Now we are at the same point where we decided where we were a decade ago when Alberta's
Starting point is 00:20:59 NDP government got a pipeline built. The hardest part of getting this project completed begins. Nothing Daniel Smith has done shows she's up to the task. So first of all, he's saying, we built the last pipeline, which is not something to be fucking proud of. Okay? That's like saying I made a poopie, and then you go inside to check and there's shit all over the walls.
Starting point is 00:21:22 That was the last pipeline, Nenshi. And you guys had fuck all to do with it aside for making a deal with the devil. I don't think that's something to be proud of. But now you've got the federal NDP saying this is bullshit and the provincial NDP saying this is awesome and also like at least 73% our idea. So anyway, let's go on the way back machine. Here is October 2025, almost a year ago.
Starting point is 00:21:51 Nenshi calls West Coast Pipeline a pipe dream. He's slammed Smith's proposed West Coast Pipeline dismissing it as a pipe dream and accusing the government of squandering taxpayer dollars on a project he claims doesn't exist. Well, he's right, and a year later, it still doesn't fucking exist. But it's weird how he changed his tone as soon as there was a nice announcement to try and hit your wagon to. Now, here's from Becca Polack, who's principal secretary to the Premier of Alberta. So she's got the resources to get the receipts and check this out.
Starting point is 00:22:21 So the NDP is all like, hey, look what we got fucking accomplished. Nahed Nenshi called the Premier's proposed West Coast Pipeline a wet pipe dream. David Agon, no new approvals for All Sands Project, called the Old Sands of Catastrophe. Joe Sisi spoke of a fossil-free future. Lauren Datch said Alberta should lead the transition away from fossil fuels. Grinder Brar said pipelines are very dangerous. Brooks Arcand Paul opposed TMX. Jody Callahue Stonehouse opposed coastal gas lake and supported anti-TMX protesters.
Starting point is 00:22:53 David Shepard said part of the. problem in Alberta is that one of our businesses based biggest businesses based in oil Janice Irwin advocated for extinction rebellion in Alberta classrooms Marie Renault reacted to an I love oil and gas t-shirt with a puk emoji they don't like this they're just trying to show up after the fact and say hey hey yeah we actually did support it all along but now the obvious question is is Nahed Ninchi going to split the Alberta Ndp from the federal NDP. And you still, even this morning, you had people saying, these idiots online think that the Alberta NDP is tied to the federal NDP. They don't know how any of this works, all of this idiot
Starting point is 00:23:38 diatribe. Well, let's go to their actual fucking website. This is from AlbertanDP.ca slash documents slash one slash constitution.com.com. As amended May 2025. And the second fucking line of it. 1.02. The party shall constitute a section of the new Democratic Party of Canada. So yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:09 Nahed Nenshi's boss is thoroughly against this pipeline. Do you think he's going to become an NDP separatist? I see Daniel Smith had the tweet calling him out. Yep. Isn't Nihit Nenshi
Starting point is 00:24:27 is going to pull them away? We were talking about it. We were talking about it first. Is Nenshi going to be running an NDP separatist party? Stay tuned for details to follow. Traders. Traders, I tell you. Okay.
Starting point is 00:24:45 Official statement from Alberta, let Alberta decide on September 30th, 2026. The city of Calgary has acknowledged that the city staff removed a let Alberta decide referendum signs in error. And as publicly stated, the signs were returned, which, They say they have not. They haven't been returned. So, yeah, there's that. Here's the thing. The reason why the city of Calgary had admitted to this
Starting point is 00:25:12 was because, and this isn't very important, they got caught. There was an actual video of a city of Calgary truck getting loaded up with Alberta, let Alberta decide signs. And meanwhile, the say no to the nine signs were just left. That shouldn't shock anyone. But, I mean, it's lovely they got caught on.
Starting point is 00:25:37 They got caught. You're like, you're a bunch of morons. I didn't. In all fairness, in all fairness, the people, I'm not saying that it's good. I think it's great that somebody recorded it and was able to prove that it happened. What they should have done was made the allegations and let the city of Calgary deny it and then posted it. Yeah. Yeah, it's a small win.
Starting point is 00:26:04 And it's good. But if you see something like this, you post it saying you saw it happen, you get right in everybody's grill about it. And then when they're like, oh, no, no, that never happened. You're like, motherfucker? Here's the video. Just like when that guy, when that guy was shitting in a Tim Horton's cup. And then that ex-member of parliament who owned that strip mall said,
Starting point is 00:26:30 no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, this did not happen. you guys are being racist and then the video came up and then now it's gotcha bitch Alberta anti-separatist brings hard message to Central Canada this I didn't like
Starting point is 00:26:51 I feel like I'm living in a strange world this is Thomas Thomas Lukasik It's a great time Here's quoted it's a great time to admit the entire headline Alberta anti-separatist brings hard message to Central Canada show a little gratitude.
Starting point is 00:27:08 Now, why do you think this is strange? I want to hear your thoughts. Okay, I'm going to read what he said first, okay? Here he is quoted. It's time to admit that some of those grievances are real, Lukasdik said. Alberta contributes substantially to Canada as a whole and has legitimate concerns that equalization payments
Starting point is 00:27:27 to the provinces give Alberta's short shrift. I don't know what shrift is, but two as you probably know. A certain amount of gratitude is not too much to ask. It's a mess. the rest of Canada needs to listen to, he said, please don't pat us on the head with the promise of a pipeline thinking that's enough. Isn't this the guy who won't engage with anything to do with separatists because they're,
Starting point is 00:27:54 you know, whack-a-doodles and all the things and they have nothing? And we have such a great place in Canada. Yep. But he's literally, he's saying the general sentiment of what's going on. He even commented on Senate and things. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:28:12 Mm-hmm. Yeah. So why are you confused? Because this guy stands against all of that when he's in Alberta. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Okay. So two things.
Starting point is 00:28:25 Well, a bunch of things. Let's just say a bunch of things. First off, he's a Canadian politician. Longstanding, like basically since 1867, you say one thing on one end of the country and another thing on the other end. Okay. So this is not exactly breaking fucking news, Sean. I know. This is the mashup effect.
Starting point is 00:28:45 Who is the first and probably only person you have ever heard say that this entire situation could have been avoided with a fucking thank you every once in a while? Tews. Tews. You're the first separat. You're the first separatist I knew twos. Okay. Well, that's fair. That's fair.
Starting point is 00:29:04 But also, I think I'm, I haven't heard anybody else say this. exact point, but I brought it up several times on the mashup and even on other podcasts. Show a little gratitude. We are just over two weeks away from this referendum vote. Thomas Lukasek has been driving his bang bus all over this province for like a year and a half, two years, whatever, trying to get as many people on board as possible with his let's fuck everybody over all the time forever campaign. And the whole time he's saying don't engage with them.
Starting point is 00:29:42 They're idiots, they're fringes, they have nothing good to say. And then he gets over on the other side of Canada. Now, if you're two weeks away from the culmination of what you've devoted a year and a half, say, of your life to, why would you fly 2,000 miles in another direction and be somewhere else? Think about it. Think about it. if you have decided that your time is better spent 2,000 miles away from being boots on the ground,
Starting point is 00:30:19 that sounds like a last minute pivot. That sounds like he's reaching diminishing returns. And look at the nuts and bolts of what he did. This is a guy who wants Alberta to stay in Canada. And two weeks before the referendum vote, he flies. to fucking Toronto sits down a bunch of community and business leaders and gives them an impassioned speech entitled, please stop being a fucking cunt for two weeks. That was it.
Starting point is 00:31:04 That's what he did. That was his speech. All of this time, we've been talking about how they're completely different cultures. We're different from them and they're different from us. and we're not saying that we're right and they're wrong, we're just saying that we don't fucking mix. And we feel like they're a bunch of dicks. And now,
Starting point is 00:31:26 the head of the please, let's all stay together. Can we please just get along? Flies to Toronto and says, can you guys not be dicks? All the while, Ontario Prymer. It didn't say anything about being met with thunderous applause. No, it didn't.
Starting point is 00:31:43 This wasn't well received. It wasn't even a. tepidly received. But you've got the guy saying, I'm the dude knocking on all the doors, trying to keep this country together. Can you guys just tone it down for a little bit? And he can't even be met with like a golf clap.
Starting point is 00:32:01 Ontario Premier Doug Ford comes to Calgary and urges Albertans to vote to remain in Canada. So you know, like we're getting to this like weird stage. We've been in it for a while where like the who's who of who you should not have come and urge Canadian, Albertans to stay in Canada are all here. Doug Ford. It's been a revolving door of that. I know. The point I wanted to make real quick, though, on Lukazik.
Starting point is 00:32:23 Sure. Is that if you're two weeks away from that referendum and your full-time focus has been talking to as many people in Alberta as possible. And then you come to the conclusion that your time is better spent, flying to Toronto and asking people to stop being dicks, that's a pretty hard pivot to do two weeks before. And then to go there and start pointing out all of the reasons why what we have been saying is actually correct. And so this is the mashup effect. This is he heard it.
Starting point is 00:32:59 It's the only place where this has been talked about, this whole gratitude thing. So Thomas Lukazik, if you're listening, thanks for tuning in. And I would like to formally invite you to come on a panel of your choice when we talk, when we do our live stream. Our referendum live stream on October 19. I know you're listening. I had a group. I had a talking point. Shout out to Jack, because I had a Jack from Lloyd Minster, that is.
Starting point is 00:33:25 I had a group reach out wondering if we were doing a live stream because they won't have a watch party. I'm like, yes, we are. So if you didn't hear it already, October 19th, Tuesday and I will be there, or we'll be here, I guess, doing a live stream covering the referendum. No. So, I mean, do you want to throw anything on Doug Ford? I mean, he's in, came to Calgary. He's urging everybody. I love, I love how he shows up.
Starting point is 00:33:53 He flies same distance as Lukazik, just going the other direction. You think you'd want it to be meaningful, impactful. I'm going to keep this real, real short, Ford said. Folks, united we stand, divided, we fall. We need to be united country. We need to stand together. I love all Albertans and we're always going to stick together. motherfucker you flew 2,000 miles to say that entire fucking speech that could fit on a fucking matchbook.
Starting point is 00:34:28 You didn't say you were going to do better. You didn't say I was just listening to Thomas Lukazik to a speech the other day. And he brought up the very valid point that were kind of pricks. And we're going to try and tone that down a little bit, especially in the next two weeks, but going forward. And if you could just give us the benefit of the doubt, we'd really appreciate it. nothing, nothing. He flies all the way over to give just enough of a snippet for an audio bite and then fucks off back before anybody has a chance to ask him an uncomfortable question. How well do you think that went over, Doug Ford?
Starting point is 00:35:04 Well, from where I said, I think it's pretty funny. But hey, what do I know? Some rapid fire headlines, okay, Daniel Smith, we will not tolerate illegal dumping in Alberta. Last year, Calgary alone got about 30,000 complaints about illegal dumping. Piles left on roadsides, on farmland, on private property, illegal dumping is not a victimless crime. Somebody always has to pay to clean it up, and it's almost never the person who did it. The people stuck with the bill are the landowners, the municipalities, and the taxpayers. This fall we will bring in the toughest penalties in the country, finds up to $100,000 for individuals and up to a million dollars for corporations plus jail time up to six months.
Starting point is 00:35:43 Alberta does take pride in their communities. Our laws should back that up, and our cities deserve better than this. It's mostly right. It's not wrong. It is good. And yes, yes. It ends up costing people a bunch of money, time, and effort. But the simple fact of the matter is,
Starting point is 00:36:07 is that if you're somebody who thinks you can just dump an old fucking shitty couch in somebody's field, you're an asshole and I don't want to be your neighbor. Full sir. Metal detectors to be installed at entrances to Eminton City Center Mall. I think this is coming everywhere.
Starting point is 00:36:28 Crime has gotten so bad in Canada that West Edmonton Mall is installing machete detectors, I mean metal detectors. And they're going to do that to try and curb the videos of people fighting by the fucking submarine. Right? You go talk to nurses. There's hospitals that got metal detectors now. Like, this is coming to a place near you very soon. Well, I mean, especially if you. live in Edmonton, I guess.
Starting point is 00:36:59 Hidden cameras show some stores unlocking speed limits on e-bikes selling e-scooters that go 120 kilometers an hour. Yeah. Now, I don't know if you know this about the CBC or not, but they're giant fucking nerds. They did hidden camera expose on people selling e-bikes that go 120 kilometers an hour. I would just like to remind everybody that it explicitly said, says in this article that it's not against the law to fix these scooters so that they're not electronically limited. What they're doing isn't illegal.
Starting point is 00:37:44 My vehicle is capable of going faster than 110 kilometers an hour. Does the CBC think that it should be somehow electronically limited so that the fastest I can do is the fucking speed limit? Now, let some kids break some fucking arms. Have some fun with this. This is what they're supposed to be for. And you're doing an expose about how bike, e-scooter and e-bike companies are doing the perfectly legal thing of showing people how to bypass the overriding safety governors on them. You fucking Uber virgins.
Starting point is 00:38:18 When I worked in a golf course, had electric carts. And one of them, I remember was number eight, the governor went on it. and so some guy had it out on the course he comes back and he's like guys guys you gotta take this thing for a rip and we're like what
Starting point is 00:38:38 you know because I was working in the back shop so cart comes back he's like yeah you guys you guys got to just go for a quick little rip okay I don't know I guess it's not working right or something
Starting point is 00:38:49 anyways I can't remember who it was but one of the guys gets in and just me like holy shit And so that was just like, the problem is, is that golf courses have exactly as many golf carts as they need. There's no, like, extras for the carpool or anything like that. But we had it parked off to the side so that it didn't go out on any of the shotguns or anything like that.
Starting point is 00:39:14 But then you get the full 36-hole shotgun. This is back in the day. And if anybody knows of a golf course in Saskatchewan with 36 holes back in the day, that's where I used to work. And anyways. And then it went out and it just so happened that the same fucking nerd who probably wrote this article comes back. It goes into the pro shop. It was like, hi, excuse me. I just wanted to let you guys know that I think there's something wrong with this cart.
Starting point is 00:39:41 Because it was super fucking awesome and super fast and I don't like things like that. You think, you know, like as they're doing an undercover and they get the hidden cameras and everything, I'm like, man, if they put that to something useful? Here's the thing. It's like there's nothing illegal about it. It'd be like, okay, the bacon grilled cheese sandwiches that I gave you, right? Like if they came over and they're like, can you make me a bacon grilled cheese sandwich? And then they'd be like, look at the sheer amount of bacon that he put in that bacon grilled cheese sandwich.
Starting point is 00:40:16 We did an ex-posé on how awesome he made that thing. This is hard-hitting journalism? Get the fuck out of here. You could sell them. those things too. People would pay high dollar for that sandwich. Oh, I believe it. I mean, you would lose all your money because
Starting point is 00:40:35 of the amount of bacon you put in it, but yeah. Yeah. Speaking of money, minimum wage will rise in these five provinces. Minimum wage is going up. The bumps of between 25 to 40 cents come into Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Manitoba, and
Starting point is 00:40:50 Saskatchewan. It's moving what does it say? P.I's boosting it to 1730, Nova Scotia to $17, Manitoba goes to 1640 in Saskatchewan to 1570. Alberta maintains the country's lowest minimum wage at 15 bucks an hour. This is factually incorrect. The real minimum wage is zero.
Starting point is 00:41:16 Classic Canada bullshit. We will fuck people over and artificially shrink the economy so that we can feel better about our moral turptitude. That's it. That's it. Keep in mind that minimum wage laws were first brought in in the states to restrict the amount of jobs available for black people. That's the history of minimum wage laws. Somebody said, hey, you know what?
Starting point is 00:41:50 If we say that it's illegal to pay somebody less than a certain dollar per hour wage, then none of the black people are going to be able to get jobs here and they'll just move on somewhere else. that was literally the thought process that was why it was implemented and like all truly racist things it has been embraced wholeheartedly by parties like the NDP we all know what happens in care homes
Starting point is 00:42:16 police officer who tasered wheelchair bound pensioner 92 years old joked about incident in an online post featuring lightning emoji now you may remember we talked about this probably like four years ago This was early mashups. We talked about this.
Starting point is 00:42:33 There's an old fucker in a wheelchair who's holding a butter knife and like a slice of bread. Yeah. And they're like, put it down, put it down. They pepper spray him. And then they tase him. Correct. And then it turns out, it turns out that the lady who tased him ended up being the brunt of a whole bunch of jokes at work. Which is fucking fair.
Starting point is 00:43:00 Correct. And then... You tasered a 92-year-old in a wheelchair. Yes. With a butter knife. I mean, it's... And a slice of bread. I mean, the joke kind of writes itself.
Starting point is 00:43:14 Huh. So anyway, she was just the brunt of an ongoing onslaught, and then she tried to lean into it a little bit by throwing lightning emojis in all over the place. And laughing about, we all know what happens in care homes. Which was a little bit insensitive. I'm being honest, although by far not even close to being the most shocking thing she's ever done. Israel-bound flight diverted after fight between pilots.
Starting point is 00:43:43 A flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv was diverted to Saudi Arabia on Wednesday after one pilot stabbed the other and apparently tried to crash the plane. Yes, but the headline, Israel-bound flight diverted after fight between pilots. not one of them pulled a knife, stabbed the other guy who then managed to hit the bypass door for the lock, which I thought you couldn't. I thought once the plane was going, you can't open that for nothing. But apparently there's a psych, yeah, you actually can't open it.
Starting point is 00:44:17 Because he opened it and then a bunch of the crew or a bunch of the passengers rushed it. Yeah, yeah. So there was special forces guys who were there to subdue him. There was a doctor there to stop the bleeding. and there were pilots there who were able to safely land the plane, waiting on the other side of that door. Oh, you think it's a stretch? I'm just saying, like, that's kind of convenient.
Starting point is 00:44:44 Now, to be fair, I mean, if you're flying into Israel, there's probably going to be a whole lot of doctors and a whole lot of special forces people on flights, right? But at the same time, at the same time, it's almost plot armor. It fits pretty neatly. I just, I'm just, I'm not saying it's anything. I'm just saying I want to hear more because it's kind of,
Starting point is 00:45:11 the spidey sense is tingling. It's not buzzing, but it's tingling. Here's one I know we've been waiting for on the mashup. I know Tuesday is going to be excited about the next one. I can't believe this guy hasn't got this sooner. Mark Carney stands against Trump leads to Nobel Peace Prize and time person of the year buzz. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:32 Now, this is the headline. This is the headline. Now, to be clear, there's no official nomination. There has been nothing official said about either the Nobel Peace Prize or the Times Man of the Year. I said that on purpose. This is literally propaganda. The best they had was that there was some, I want to say, Polly Market. Oh, Kalshi, which is like Polly Market, but,
Starting point is 00:46:03 also does shitty granola, apparently. A U.S.-based prediction market had his chances at 14%. Now, to be clear, these are the same prediction markets that also you can bet on what your Jesus is going to return. So like literally anything and everything is available as options to bet on. You could probably find, you could probably put five bucks down on you being nominated for, for the Nobel Peace Prize if you wanted. Speaking of propaganda for just one sec, you've seen the Yuri Besmanoff,
Starting point is 00:46:40 um, old GGB, right? Have you watched that entire interview? Have you watched that entire interview? I feel like I either watched like almost all of it. I know I watched almost all of it, but I can't remember if I watched like every single minute of it. So did you realize he worked for the CBC at one point?
Starting point is 00:47:00 No. So I watched the entire interview. While he was still a spook or after? After. He fled to Canada first. He became Thomas Schumann. He worked for the CBC. Okay, but like before he was outed as being Yuri Besmanoff, he was working for the CBC.
Starting point is 00:47:18 Before he was outed as being Uri Besmanoff while working for the CBC. Oh. Because he fled. Yeah, this was the plan all the time. He was working in India and then he escaped as a hippie. and moved. He went a bunch of different places, ended up in Canada,
Starting point is 00:47:38 changed his name, and worked for the CBC and Russian correspondents. And then it was like five years later he got found out. And the CBC under Pierre Elliott Trudeau outed him and like got rid of him. And so then he went to the States.
Starting point is 00:47:52 But Yuri Bezanov, that entire thing, when you watch the hour and like 15 minute interview, it's like in the first like 12, 13 minutes, he starts talking more i had to stop it i'm like did he just say he worked for the cbc went back i'm like yeah he worked for the c bcassumannes chiano reeves also worked for the cbc yeah fair enough i just thought how many of us have seen the uri besmanoff propaganda the dim moralization of i've seen it but i can't remember him saying that well i know yeah that's because that never
Starting point is 00:48:22 gets played i don't think the start of that interview has ever gotten played in any video i've ever watched. It's always the last like three minutes or close to it. There's a chunk where you hear it and you're like, oh yeah. I remember there was like a 45 minute version of it or something like that that I would watch. No, there you go. Okay, global news. Here, the fake name. This is great. This is, you, too, was this you? No, no. I feel like this is how you'd, you'd have a little bit of fun, but hey. Hey, so you know how they do like the celebratory things for birthdays? Happy birthday to our listeners. You know what? People should start commenting in our chat with happy birthday
Starting point is 00:49:00 to names like this. That would be fun. How about Tyler? His birthday was last Friday. Was it? Yeah. I didn't know that. So you guys have the same birthday.
Starting point is 00:49:16 Yeah. Yeah. So happy birthday, Tyler. Yeah. But Global BC and Mark, Madriga, who looks a hell of a lot like John Crescien, if I'm being honest. Congratulations on a happy 100th birthday, a gentleman by the name of Gabe Owners. That's a happy 100th birthday to Gabe Boners.
Starting point is 00:49:48 Man, the Simpsons really knocked it out of the park on that, didn't they? Yeah. Like, I mean, come on, guys. I'm looking for a man to hugging kiss I pee freely I'm gonna find you in Is this still going I think so
Starting point is 00:50:11 And it can't be anywhere remotely close to how good it was back in the day But you know Squirrel nuts says happy birthday to everyone for the year So I guess we're good now Uh okay Dead Rat found in Bowden Alberta Officials call in Rat Patrol
Starting point is 00:50:26 Now this is a big deal Because Alberta prides itself on being the only place in the world other than Antarctica that is rat free. Correct. Which is a giant pile of bullshit. But it's... I mean, it's Canada.
Starting point is 00:50:40 We do propaganda for this shit all the time. Like, you can literally... I have gone... Spelunking in Rats Nest Cave outside of Canmore. Do you know why they call it Rats Nest Cave? Because there's rats. It's because it's full of fucking pigeons.
Starting point is 00:50:55 Of course, it's full of rats. Okay? And then... you've got the medicine hat and Lethbridge dump are renowned. It has been known for years that those things are just shit shows full of rats. Pigeons, of course it's rats, folks. Of course it's rats. Not in the public dangerous.
Starting point is 00:51:16 Liberals won't try to recoup the $34 million paid by green slush fund to ineligible projects. Yes. So this whole green slush fund shit show, which I love how this was. just sort of randomly thrown into the article here and there like there's there was just so much bullshit with the green slush fund that you can't just the the skull dougar skull dougary inevitably gets mentioned offhandedly um they were um out of the 58 projects 10 were ineligible for such totaling 59 million furthermore there were 90 cases where a board member participant and voted in a discussion about a contract
Starting point is 00:52:03 despite being in a conflict of interest. There were 90 fucking conflicts of interest that resulted in all of this money being sent out, including 10 projects were ineligible, combining to $59 million. And it is some fucking how, Melaneseally, not in the public interest to either, A, prosecute,
Starting point is 00:52:28 which doesn't even get talked about in this, or B, recoup $34 million? Like, yeah, okay, this is insane. Like, they literally got this money through conflicts of interest. 90 cases of conflicts of interest resulted in the $59 million going out, and they're deciding not to go after $34 million of it. I don't know about the rest of it. But $34 million because it's not in the public interest.
Starting point is 00:52:55 At this point, the public interest, the public interest in this is a lot fucking darker than anything anybody's willing to talk about openly right now because if you stole $34 million for me like just what in the actual fuck in any other country
Starting point is 00:53:16 in any other country this would be jail in a lot of countries probably not you would just disappear quietly probably not but I mean at the end of the day it's yeah it's like 34 million you know we're not going to find it you can make a pretty salient argument for the disappearing quietly side of this discussion so yeah just getting the 34 million
Starting point is 00:53:40 dollars i feel like would be in the public interest and i cannot believe okay that we would just here's here's one that i'm like this should be interesting to have like i don't know if tuesday is just going to laugh as i read this out and then i and then i just want to make sure before you interject anywhere here too is that you just let me read it all out okay okay well i want i want you to just lead with the article from saturday okay okay and then follow up
Starting point is 00:54:09 with the one from what the hell day is it well here this is what i got lethal injection by an all female team slated for tennessee's first woman death row inmate in 200 years a condemned tennessee killer the first woman sentenced to death in the state in 200 years is demanding an all female lethal injection team to carry out her execution, claiming she could be traumatized by having men involved in her final moments, okay?
Starting point is 00:54:34 Okay? So she wants an all-female team, all right? After she was injected twice with a lethal drug, Pike did not die, and she was transferred to an off-site medical facility, a spokesperson for the Department of Corrections told NBC News. Attorney for Pike said later Wednesday that she was being treated at a hospital, but they did not know her condition, okay? then I mean that's ridiculous enough the death penalty information center has described her as the first person
Starting point is 00:55:03 known to remain alive after lethal injection drugs were administered in a U.S. execution. So chapter one of this story lethal injection by all female team chapter two we tried twice and it didn't work I tell you what if I ever get sentenced to death if i you know i i make a joke that's too fucking funny about mark carney you know or whatever else and i get sentenced to death i'm going to ask for an all-female squad who's going to do it i'll tell you that right now how do you screw up a lethal injection
Starting point is 00:55:50 and then they ended up giving her a double dose you know who they should have got to do this Sean? Who? Moderna. I would like to be injected by Pfizer. Two doses. You can, well, yeah, yeah, yeah. Just, yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:10 And then Foucher, you're like, you need to take your second dose. If you get two injections, it protects all of us. Oh, man. And then you can have Justin Trudeau being like, well, doesn't matter. You know, you could take AstraZeneca, you could take Pfizer, you can take Moderna, you can mix and match them. It's fine. It'll all have
Starting point is 00:56:36 the same effect. Okay. All right. Oh, man. Let's go to some more serious topics here. The JP Morgan Chase executive accused by ex-banker forcing him to become her sex, slave, renews,
Starting point is 00:56:53 countersuit against him. You may recall this story. Yeah, so for those of you who don't know, this is the who said in a court filing that this woman said, amongst other things, I bet your Asian fish head wife doesn't have cannons like these. Are you going to show the picture of the guy? John, you're not even smiling anymore.
Starting point is 00:57:14 Are you going to show the picture of the guy? Are you just going to sit there and... Fine, whatever, whatever. I don't want to show this. He said, this is the guy. I'm like, you might as well show the story. This is the guy we talked about. And so anyways, he alleged that...
Starting point is 00:57:29 That woman. Yeah. Who is a fucking small... smoke show got this guy who looks like a silver gold bull I love you but can you get your ad out here for a second SGB all your precious metal needs folks who who looks like Woody from Toy Story Like if you had if you had Toy Story Mumbai this would be him
Starting point is 00:58:01 Anyways I am a favorite deputy She's renewing her Her sex slave. Apparently, he alleges. She's renewing the counterslate. And then the second part with J.P. Morgan is an openly gay J.P. Morgan employee was told to quitter be fired in a bombshell new lawsuit. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:18 So apparently, once he started working there, he was doing really well at the start. And then he spent all of his time just advocating for gay rights stuff and not doing his actual job. At one point, his boss said to him, And I quote, you need to keep your gay job separate from your day job. And also said that DEI wasn't going to save him. Yeah. And just because he's gay doesn't mean he can get a leg up. Well, presumably he's gay.
Starting point is 00:58:54 He's getting both legs up. But, yeah, so now this is the same company, J.P. Morgan, that also had the, I bet your Asian fish head wipe, doesn't have canons like these situations. We'll keep you posted. Here's some goofy for you. Sharon Stone urges Sydney-Sweeney to take responsibility for betting ad controversy. Yeah. So, I mean, we talked about this before.
Starting point is 00:59:22 Silver Gold Bull. Too many pop-ups. So we covered this a few weeks ago, which is kind of ongoing. Last week I talked about it with the Holmes clan. the whole Sidney Sweeney using everything God gave her to sell betting ads
Starting point is 00:59:44 for a sports bet company and now you've got Sharon Stone saying that it's gone too far that she needs to take responsibility for what she's doing and basically saying that just using her body for their own personal betterment
Starting point is 00:59:59 is is taking things too far and that she needs to do better than that Tuse, what is Sharon Stone most iconic scene in all her movies? The one where Arnold Schwarzenegger shoots her in the head in Total Recall
Starting point is 01:00:16 and says, Consider this a divorce. Okay, well, that's not what I was thinking, but sure. Okay, now you being a pervert, which one were you thinking of? Basic instinct. Which one, Sean? The first one.
Starting point is 01:00:32 Which scene? There's two basic instincts. The one where she's being, The one where she's being interrogated. Yeah. The one where she goes, what are you going to do? Arrest me for smoking? Correct.
Starting point is 01:00:44 And then Newman gets all flustered. Yeah. Yeah. I know exactly what you're talking about. I was being difficult. I know you were. And you go like... That was Paul Verhoeven.
Starting point is 01:00:53 That was Paul Verhoeven, who also directed Total Recall. Really? I didn't know that. Yeah. And Starship Troopers and striptees. And the most baffling part of it was you had, you had I think it was I think it was basic instinct
Starting point is 01:01:08 Strip Tees and Total Recall were three movies in whichever order Back to Back. Those were three movies that came out in a block One After Another I can't remember which order. And then it's It's got Sharon Stone in total recall
Starting point is 01:01:22 And no boobs It's like the only movie she ever did Where she doesn't have her boobs out You've got the three boobed lady in total recall She shows all three of her boobs And you don't have Sharon Stone showing her boobs? I find it very funny
Starting point is 01:01:41 that Sharon Stone is the one calling her out. Meanwhile, like, female athletes all the time. Every movie she's in. Every movie she's in. Like, I could probably just Google how many movies has Sharon Stone showed her boobs
Starting point is 01:01:54 and or other fun stuff in? And it would say, idiot, do you really need to Google this? It's fucking all of them except total recall. Anyways, I mean, there you go. Can the police seek public's help to find officers lost pistol magazine in Waterloo? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:15 It's funny. I actually already had this tweet bookmarked. So the Waterloo Regional Police had one of their classic, it looks like a Glock with the 17 round mag. But an on-duty WRPS officer lost their service-issued magazine from their ballistic vest. The magazine, which was loaded, is similar to the one pictured. They're looking for help finding this. And if we went to this, keep in mind that the comments are locked. Zero comments have been on this.
Starting point is 01:02:49 Nobody has commented on this because the comments have been locked from the day it got posted. We are looking for help finding this. Can you please help us, find us, find it. Please help. We're locking comments. Yep. Now, if you or I, if you or I treated firearms in such a careless manner, do you know what we would do? Do you know what would happen to us?
Starting point is 01:03:16 We would be getting boss lethal injections if we did that. But because it's cop, that's fine. A brewery worker in small town was found wearing a show me the evidence shirt on orange shirt Tuesday, uh, Tuesday, orange shirt day yesterday. So the brewery fired him and issued a temporary closure just another day. in Canada. Now, I would like to point out that that's probably
Starting point is 01:03:42 grounds for some kind of a wrongful dismissal in any same world. And it doesn't really... Here's the thing. Where's the lie? What's out of line? Just tell me... Tell me exactly why
Starting point is 01:03:58 that after we flew flags at half mass for six fucking months in this country and went on at length. It was one of like the Times article of the year talking about the 215 unmarked graves. $12 million was spent not digging it up. And we're still making this big of a deal of it.
Starting point is 01:04:21 And him wearing a shirt that says, show me the evidence, I think is a pretty fucking measured response. Well, show me the evidence could be on a whole bunch of things, too. It could be about the Epstein files. I was thinking that. Yeah. You know what?
Starting point is 01:04:35 I wore my Jeffrey Epstein shirt on Truth and Reconciliation Day, and now I got fired. Sean has disappeared. I'm sure it's for something really important. Hey, guys, check out the hole in my, my hudder right curtain. Nice. So for those of you listening and not watching, it's an air freshener of Jeffrey Epstein, and it said this air freshener didn't hang itself. And Sean's holding it up.
Starting point is 01:05:07 So obviously, it hasn't been hung anywhere yet. So it's true. I don't know if he's got The first thing Byron Christopher gives me When I pull up to him I got something for you A 77 year old
Starting point is 01:05:17 investigative reporter hands it to me And I damn near fell over laughing On the streets in New Brunswick Camelton That was funny That was funny Does he think Epstein was killed? He's an investigative journalist
Starting point is 01:05:33 Toes He knows there's a whole bunch of Tom Foolery going around And none of the story's been being told and Byron, if you're listening, you're an absolute beauty. Don't ever change. That was funny. That was really funny.
Starting point is 01:05:47 Byron, if you're listening, we've never met in person, but I'm a huge fan. And I hope to meet you one day. Okay. Mark Carney attended the Oilers Home Opener and didn't stand up for a Canadian Army veteran? Like, really? Well, it's because it wasn't one that, uh, see, the last time. the last time anybody from the Liberal Party stood up for a veteran?
Starting point is 01:06:13 It was a Nazi? It was a Nazi. So he was probably like, oh, oh, this, yeah, we don't stand up for these people. That's wild. Oh, and I'm playing it, but not showing it. But there's Mark Carney sitting. Everybody else is standing except for him. Because it's not a Nazi, presumably.
Starting point is 01:06:37 probably. Margo, Robbie, changing her name to her husband's, hurts my beautiful lesbian brain. I didn't even read the start. I'm sorry, I didn't, I just read the headline and like, okay. Let's, um, here. We're going to, we're going to go super troopers for a second here.
Starting point is 01:06:56 Enhance, enhance, enhance. Enhance. Marco Robbie, changing her name to her husband's. hurts my beautiful lesbian brain. Here's why. From Rebecca Shaw, who even in this tiny picture, you can still see the mustache.
Starting point is 01:07:16 I literally went and Googled this and asked Grock and Claude. I said, is this trans and or is this satire? Because I couldn't tell. And they're like, no, no, it's straight up. This is straight up. So this big, beautiful lesbian brain.
Starting point is 01:07:36 is hiding behind a vote for Pedro mustache. And there you go. And yeah. She says, here's the subheading. I don't flip a table every time this happens, but I actually
Starting point is 01:07:51 do mind when it's the default discussion or decision with no discussion, which is a clip from the article. She says she talks about how she doesn't flip tables over every time it happens. Bitch, you don't flip over tables, you empty them. Okay.
Starting point is 01:08:07 And I would just like to point out that this is an article about Margo Robbie deciding to take her husband's last name. And if we look up the word lesbian, it's once in the save from archive header, which means that it appears five times in this article. This lady thought it was worth mentioning that she was a lesbian, five times in an article about Margot Robbie and never once mentioned that she thought Margot Robbie was hot, which is where you think that would be going.
Starting point is 01:08:44 If you're writing an article about Margo Robbie, where you have to mention five different times that you're a lesbian, I'm fully expecting the words I would hit that to appear in at least one paragraph. A moose managed to enter the Wisconsin Rehab Center today. Conservation officers reportedly had to use five trankletes. darts on it. Five tranquilizer darts to knock out a fucking moose. Which sounds about right,
Starting point is 01:09:17 because it's a moose. Better show the video, too. Oh, no. Okay, he got out. Geez. There it is. Oh, no, it seems like the building. Why didn't they close the fucking door?
Starting point is 01:09:29 Oh, okay, he got out. I mean, luckily it was a rehab center, so they had five tranquilize. Well, I tell you what, if the moose wasn't enough, show the video of the paramedics. Narcanning the crow. So I sat with Vesburgh. I got to meet Vesper in person
Starting point is 01:09:43 on the road trip back across Canada. And he's the one that posted the video about this. Yeah, I think he added the background music. This is right from Vesper. But this, to be clear, is a CBC article. Correct.
Starting point is 01:10:00 Or news story, whatever. This is CBC reporting on this. Group in Prince George, British Columbia has been giving life-saving the locks or narcan to crows found unconscious in the street. Volunteers think these birds have digested toxic drugs that were left outdoors. The Crow Rescue Society has posted videos online
Starting point is 01:10:19 showing their volunteers administering the naloxone to be unresponsive crows through the nostrils on the beaks of the birds. Within hours, birds are back up on their feet and eventually are released. Now, the loxone normally given to drug users who have been poisoned by opioids. The society says it's seen a sharp increase
Starting point is 01:10:38 increase in the number of pros needing treatment this year. Yeah. There's the drug use is so fucking crazy in BC that the crows are having to get fucking Narcan. Narcan. Yeah. You're having, you're having to Narcan the wildlife.
Starting point is 01:11:01 And we don't think maybe the, the open drug use policies are a bit of a fucking problem in this country. All right. BC election. Yeah. You've got, I don't know where you want to start. Do you want to start with the poll? I just want to just explain the fact that the last election in BC happened two years ago.
Starting point is 01:11:20 And David Eby is taking a page out of Jim Prentice's book by calling a snap election while the opposition is in disarray. And it doesn't seem to be going well for him. Now, there's lots of stuff going on with this. Zoltan tweeted at us the other day. He wants us to make sure that we're doing a repeat of a repeat of a repeat of live election. coverage. Yeah. But here is some people standing holding support NDP signs. And if you look
Starting point is 01:11:50 closely in the background, there is a lady taking a shit on the street. Well, right next to her, there's guys holding signs saying elect Terry Young, NDP action for you. Maybe TP for you. TP for your bunghole
Starting point is 01:12:12 There's people shitting in the streets Literally right next to you campaigning To say Keep trusting us with the direction of this province Okay Now this is a good one This is I just want to point out
Starting point is 01:12:29 So for those of you listening and not watching A guy I don't know who he is Oh conservative candidate for Colonna Mission I didn't even realize that He's got a picture of a lady passed out. Real time update from a friend.
Starting point is 01:12:46 This is what David Eby is given Colonna. So there's like some kids playground thing or whatever right by the water of like an Ogopogo. And there is a lady passed out on top of it. Crack pipes and needles strewn out underneath her. She's just right to fuck out. And so then Grace Lurr, who is an NDP. MLA says, Gavin, don't do this.
Starting point is 01:13:15 This is someone obviously sick and extremely vulnerable. Who knows what else she's been through? Fight for what you think is right, but take this down. We can debate the path forward and the tools to use, but this isn't it. See, here's the thing, Grace. I don't know if you'd notice this or not. But you need to look at this picture. It should not be taken down.
Starting point is 01:13:39 You need to acknowledge. that the policies that you implemented on behalf of that woman are the reason why she is high as fucking crow pussy and passed out in the playground in the middle of the fucking daytime. Five tranquilizers to take down a moose or her. You need to understand that this woman, at this stage in her life, this far down the fucking depravity in the black hole that is drugs and fucking living on the street,
Starting point is 01:14:06 that you caused in her life, or you enabled in her life, the best thing that she can hope for right now in between that exact point in time and when she inevitably dies in a fucking dumpster is that maybe one or two of the dick she sucks to get a little bit of drugs might have been recently washed. So this, you want this taken down, but this is the fucking receipt. You traded this woman's fucking humanity for your political ambitions and that's the receipt. it's fucking despicable enough when you're more than willing to trade your own soul for your own political career, but it is completely fucking reprehensible when you trade somebody else's too. The poll.
Starting point is 01:14:57 Tell me I'm wrong. Yeah. You, I don't know. Nobody likes it when I point this out, but I bet you could have done that with like 15 F bombs. That's the only thing that you're not wrong, dude. I look at it and I go, this is ridiculous. not like the picture is just I mean at this point take it down it's like take it down really how about no people need to see people are seeing I mean politicians need to talk about it
Starting point is 01:15:25 I mean you just need to get like fix the problems already fix them we don't need to you know virtue signal that they're in a tough spot it's like no it's not virtual signaling that they're in a tough spot it's that makes me look bad so I'm trying to pretend it's about something else so that you might take it down. Yeah. Well, I mean, Bonnie said it was a great rant. I know.
Starting point is 01:15:46 Of course Bonnie is going to, okay, I'm fine, fine. What do I know? All three of the pretty picture, what do I know? Pretty girls in that picture agree with her. So, three to one.
Starting point is 01:15:59 I agree. I wanted to ask about how your election platform shaping up as it is will change your path to shrink the deficit. You've paused the PST and you've restarted work on a hospital that was being repaced. Did that mean it's getting pushed further out?
Starting point is 01:16:17 Not at all, Thomas. The money for the Burnaby Hospital was always in the budget. We were really clear. The project was running over budget. We needed to reset the project, get it back on track. We've done that work. And conservatives say, oh, you know, the NDP canceled the project. The only party that has canceled hospital projects in this province,
Starting point is 01:16:39 is the Conservative Party. They sold the land for the Surrey Hospital instead of building the hospital. You know, the people in Fort St. James, they went to their hospital in a double wide trailer. We built them a new hospital. 13 newer expanded hospitals, including the Burnaby Hospital,
Starting point is 01:16:54 which was already in the budget, and which we kept in the budget, and which we'll deliver on. Now, I saw the announcement yesterday, the number one priority of the conservative party is eliminating the deficit. Okay, we gotta end with. spending. We've got to grow the economy with announcements like today and the work that's happening
Starting point is 01:17:14 here at the park to close that gap. We've got to eliminate wasteful spending. This is David Eby running for re-election. He's the incumbent. He's the premier of British Columbia. And his campaign is that if you elect the NDP who are currently in fucking charge, we're going to eliminate wasteful spending. He can't, like he's not going to. He's not going to. He's not going to. to win this election, is he? It's not looking good for him. I mean, look what happened with Jim Prentice, right? Bring up the polls.
Starting point is 01:17:47 The conservatives sitting at 56. I mean, believe the polls, don't believe the polls. Polls look like it's going to be a landslide conservatives. Now, in fairness, I feel like that's what we said last time around two years ago. Did we not? I can't remember. We should go back and watch it. I feel like it was a little tighter, obviously.
Starting point is 01:18:08 I mean, at the end, it was. neck to neck. But I think moving into that election two years ago it was tighter but it had the conservatives slightly in the lead. This feels like another two years of NDP, like what is going on? You got people who
Starting point is 01:18:23 you know, because of the land giveaways and like the fee simple title stuff going on and like you're just like, B.C. is in a worst spot two years later. That shouldn't shock anyone. And if they vote in the same thing, sorry to my BC friends. It's like. It's going to keep
Starting point is 01:18:39 I don't know what to tell you. Right. It's going to get worse. You know, the funny thing is, is like, you know, David Eby, one of the other things he said was that they're going to cut gas prices by up to 30 cents a liter. And he did. Up to 30 cents. Yeah. Yep.
Starting point is 01:18:56 And he did an announcement saying that this was going to put money back in the pockets of the people where it belongs. And I hate it when the incumbents do this. Because here's the thing. If it belonged in their pockets the whole fucking time, why did you never do it? Because it's election time and he needs a win. And the way to do that is money and signaling and all the things that come out of election time twos. Yeah, exactly. But here's the thing.
Starting point is 01:19:26 They always want to do this. They don't want to make the good sound financial decisions leading up to an election because they want to save it for an election promise. And here's a cool idea that somebody might want to try the next time they're running. And I think the next big one that's coming up that actually has enough time to implement this, an incumbent would be the UCP. You want a freebie of the UCP? Here you go.
Starting point is 01:19:51 Two, three months before the election, you do something like this. And you say, a cynical party would have saved this as an election promise. But it's the right thing to do. We would have done it sooner. But this is the soonest we could do it. We could have put it off and made it an election promise, but we care more about doing the right thing than we care about trying to squeeze every last vote
Starting point is 01:20:17 in the most cynical way possible. And if you did that, and if you did it a way that rang true, rather than being cynical about being cynical, that would probably go a hell of a lot further than something like this. You know who is running for the conservatives? Well, that's another thing. Carson Binda.
Starting point is 01:20:35 Carson Binda, friend of the show. Yeah, that's cool. You know, one of the things about 200 plus mashups is we've had a lot of different people on this show, and now you're starting to see a whole bunch of them get involved. And Carson Binda, just the latest. So good luck to Carson. I mean, he'd be. I'm sure it happened regardless of the fact that he has been in the school before.
Starting point is 01:20:57 I would agree. But still, it's super cool because we're, you know, you talk about the mashup effect, twos. You talk about the mashup effect and you're like, any second, that guy's, been on the show and that person's been on the show and there's a whole bunch of people all the way from municipal all the way up getting involved and that's super cool so that's a nice I don't know
Starting point is 01:21:15 tip of the cap I think to Carson Middell like I mean best of luck we hope you get a luck. Absolutely good luck yeah and I want to point this out too this is this is a classic 1993 political smear ad if we are in the trust
Starting point is 01:21:34 the British Columbia is a selection. One of the first things we're going to to is make sure families in British Columbia see $1,000 in relief immediately. The BC government is causing the $1,000 per household tax rebate on groceries promised in the provincial election. It says you can't trust the NB votes. Yeah. Look, I get the fact that that worked really well in 1992 and probably also in 1994. But you can do way better than that.
Starting point is 01:22:13 You can have fun with this instead of just being like, oh, super scary. And then somebody's going to come out of the basement with a hatchet. Just put on your outside the box thinking for a little bit. Just look at all of the dumb shit that we talk about on the mashup. and just be like, look, it doesn't matter. Like, the fact that they reneged on the promises, I love also the fact, by the way, that, you know, the same people who got mad at Donald Trump
Starting point is 01:22:42 for trying to buy the midterms with the $5,000 checks didn't say anything about David Eby, literally doing that. The exact same thing. But, like, here's the thing is the reneging on campaign promises by the time, four years, or even in this case, two years rolls around again, people have forgotten what the campaign promises were.
Starting point is 01:23:09 And it's just standard politics to guarantee I'm going to give you everything. World's going to be amazing. Is the reneging on campaign promises? It doesn't ring true. You just be like, look, they're fucking idiots. Here's how they fucked up.
Starting point is 01:23:27 Here's how they fucked up. Here's how they fucked up. Now maybe you might want to tone it a little bit. Maybe you want to tone it down a little bit to get to get better, you know, widespread coverage. But you point out exactly where they screw up and how bad they are. And then instead of being like, you can't trust the NDP. I've got this one. You can have it for free.
Starting point is 01:23:52 NDP is not a serious party. BC Conservatives, you listening? Anybody going to listen? The NEP is not a serious party. Oh man Start our own little Advertising Agency Toos That's what we should do
Starting point is 01:24:05 And then we should farm it out To all the The prospective governments Trying to stay in power Or get into power Against the NDP And we'd be millionaires There you go
Starting point is 01:24:16 Well I mean We've got Scott Moe Already taking the phrase And running with it I know They lack outside the box Thinking though
Starting point is 01:24:25 Tews We could give them a lot of fun We could have a lot of fun This town deserves a better class of criminal. Of criminal, that's right. Quebec election. Politics is great in all,
Starting point is 01:24:35 but there's still a merciless hair battle taking place or taking shape. This is great. These are the two candidates who are running in Saint-Marie, Saint-Jacques. And then you want to show the naked... Oh, sorry. She's not naked. Let's be clear. And we're not showing any naked people on this show because when we show the lady in the...
Starting point is 01:24:57 She's doing the Sydney-Sweeney. Can I say she's doing the Sydney-Sweeney? Yeah, or even, you could even say she's doing the Sharon Stone, although she's not doing the Sharon Stone. She's doing the Sydney, I tried finding this lady on Twitter to see if maybe she wanted to come on today. So the Quebec election is on Monday. Sean, any announcements?
Starting point is 01:25:21 Monday, I don't even know where I'm at Monday. Me and twos are working on it. Tuesday is going to give him, he's, okay, you're literally going to do that. after I've driven, like... You didn't have enough time to think? I drove 48 hours straight. Mm-hmm. Okay.
Starting point is 01:25:39 So anyways, you've got this battle of the hair here. Do we have any announcements to make? Throw me on the air like that. And then... I'm almost tempted to fly back to Alberta, just so I come to watch you, and then fly back to Halifax. Carry on.
Starting point is 01:25:54 Then you've got Caroline Buzwe. I don't know, from Chambly. And she's doing the Sydney Sweeney. Chombly. So, for those of you listening and not watching, the first one was of a lady with a crazy giant afro, versus a lady with like a super spiky side part. Sure. And the posters were one on top of another. For those of you listening still, this lady who's running in the writing of Chambley is posing topless with one fleur-de-lie over each of her breast.
Starting point is 01:26:31 and this is her official campaign. This is our official campaign literature. So for those of you who've never been to Shambly before, Fort Chambly, it's right on the river. There's a few battles fought there. You can still see some of the bullet holes and stuff in the walls. Chambly, very obviously, folks, known for its cannons.
Starting point is 01:26:54 I bet your fish head candidate doesn't have cannons like these, Sean. So anyway, I couldn't track this lady down in time to get her on the show. But Carolyn, if you're listening, all the best on Monday. We're real rooting for you. I hope you had a really good campaign. You did a lot of door-knocking. If you want to get Tews' vote, do the Sydney-Sweeney. That's all you got to do.
Starting point is 01:27:18 You just got to have a little bit of fun with it. Sing for the moment. Sing for the year. Sing for the laughter. Sing for the tears. Thank you. Edmonton man charged with arson and Erdry strip mall fire. Does anybody want to guess?
Starting point is 01:27:35 Jaadip Singh. Does any 20 want to guess? Anybody want to chime in in the comments? RCMP announced Friday in Erdry that Jideep Singh, 21, was arrested in the Edmonton area on September 24th. For burning down a strip mall and causing a million dollars worth of damage. And then you got the FBI. The FBI. Now, we've been following the Bishnoy gang quite closely lately.
Starting point is 01:28:09 You know, last week you weren't here, but we went over that letter that they sent to the R.C.MP. Mm-hmm. The head of the Bishnoy gang has been added to the FBI's 10 most wanted list. And so be on the lookout for Settindur-Dijit Singh. How long did you practice that? That's the first time I've ever said that guy's name out loud. Sure. Okay. All right. A reward of up a million dollars is offered for information leading to his arrest.
Starting point is 01:28:39 Do you have any idea how many rupees that is, Sean? Because I sure don't. A lot. Truck driver sentenced the six years for causing deadly pile up near Montreal while playing cell phone game. Yeah. Bollagit Singh. It's like you didn't even try, dude. Okay. Give it better than two.
Starting point is 01:28:58 No, no, no, go, go. I'm telling you. No, no, no, no. Oh, two is the best word smith on the planet. Let's hear it. Baljeet, sing. There you go. All right. Sing for a moment.
Starting point is 01:29:11 Sing for the year. Yep. Now, we got a heist. We got a heist. We're supposed to finish it off. You're supposed to finish it off. It's my fucking line. I do what I want with it.
Starting point is 01:29:21 We got a heist. We got a heist. Thieves stole a Navidia-branded truck filled with 20,000 pounds of sand. Yeah. They heisted an invidia truck Got back and they're like Oh, we made it, we made it
Starting point is 01:29:38 Is it good? Oh yeah, you wouldn't believe How heavy this thing is. There must be so much fucking ram in here. We're rich boys, we're rich. And then they get to like their warehouse Where they did all the staging and planned all the explosives And figure it out, you know, right next to like the honeypot dress closet And the secret sewer entrance
Starting point is 01:29:57 And the Batmobile They get there and they're like, ladies and gentlemen, feast your eyes on this. It reaches down, slides up the fucking back door, and gets buried in a pile of sand. Yes. Plus AI uses sand to simulate the loads. Its trailers must carry to support research and development testing.
Starting point is 01:30:21 As carrying the material closely mimics real freight conditions, so each truck held about 20,000 pounds of sand. A whoops. A whoops. Yeah. So they they heisted it in a, an Nvidia truck. And they did manage to get a bunch of microchips, but just
Starting point is 01:30:36 really early on in the manufacturing process. Sports desk. Yeah. So, shout out to Sid the kid, who should now just be called, I don't know, sold the old. Sid
Starting point is 01:30:52 makes history. Cindy Crosby passes Steve Ezerman. Is that right? Oh my goodness. Gezerman. You're embarrassing me. He passed Steve Yeserman to become... Sorry, what's the matter?
Starting point is 01:31:09 You don't like Steve Yezerman? Uh-huh. What's the matter? What did you not agree with? You know how to pronounce foreign names better than hockey legends twos? Then what... Steve Yezerman is a hockey legend? He says you jackass.
Starting point is 01:31:27 All right, carry on. Carry on with a little skit. So Sidney Crosby passes Steve Steve Zerman to become the longest tenured captain in NHL history. That he does. So that's a pretty cool one. Congratulations on Sidney Crosby for being number one. And congratulations on Steve Eastman for being number two.
Starting point is 01:31:51 Happy news. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, nice try, nice try, nice try, Sean. Oh, my goodness. Is that Mark Carney? after he didn't stand up. Oh, oh. No, we're not quite at the happy news yet, my friend, Sean. No, you thought that we could just go all the way from Sidney Crosby and Steve Zerman
Starting point is 01:32:16 to happy news without talking about this? No, no, no, you're out of your mind. This is Mark Carney with an autographed McDavid jersey. And Connor McDavid standing there with his student. a ginger fucking face being happy as all hell that he gets to talk to the frail mr burns yeah well you notice he doesn't go to a calgary flames game i wonder why i don't even know if i could list off one player they have that's any good so life moves on all right you got nothing yeah that's right go back like 40 years that's where the calgary calgary's at right now thank you move on happy news
Starting point is 01:32:56 yeah yeah your your star player's a ginger dude Star Player is the best in the world, dude. So, I mean, what? What do you got? Not a ginger. Mm-hmm. Okay. Happy news.
Starting point is 01:33:11 The food professor, yeah. Food professor talking about a Blacklock's article. Six Tim Horton's restaurants in Eastern Ontario have gone bankrupt. According to Blacklocks, their operators blame changes to the temporary foreign worker problem. And then Tim Horton jumps in. They weren't even tagged in this, by the way. but they somehow managed to track it down, saw that it was the food professor, and jumped in. And so this is the official statement from Tim Hortons.
Starting point is 01:33:42 Hi, Sirvade, Tim Horton's restaurants offer great everyday value to our guests while also offering a profitable business for our franchisees who have invested significantly in their communities. It is extremely rare to see this type of situation And it does not at all Reflect the financial viability of the restaurants in question We are confident they will continue Don't you do that? Don't you change the voice? Finish it off. Finish it off strong.
Starting point is 01:34:16 It takes too long to read it all in that Unbelievable We're confident they'll continue to be great Tim's restaurants For their local communities with new ownership in place the staffing figures at these restaurants in question do not reflect the local hiring reality across the vast majority of Tim Hortons in Canada. So six Tim Hortonses went out of business.
Starting point is 01:34:41 If you went back in time five years and told anybody in this country that Tim Hortons' would be going out of business, even in the middle of the lockdowns, if you said they would be going out of business, people would be like you're out of your damn mind. Correct. I would agree with you.
Starting point is 01:34:58 And so according to the stores that closed, it was because of changes in the temporary foreign worker program. Now, I don't know, but I suspect videos of bugs and cockroaches and stuff like that in the fucking donut racks might have helped. The fact that nobody can get a fucking order right. The poor service. The shit on the walls. That lady who threw shit in the store because she was mad. about the order getting so wrong. All of this stuff probably had at least a residual effect.
Starting point is 01:35:36 But at the end of the day, Sylvain is right. If your business depends on foreign labor coming in and taken away from local jobs, fuck you good riddins. That's the beautiful thing about capitalism. As much as it sucks, it is literally picking winners and losers. because not everybody who starts a business is going to be successful. But I do like the fact that if you start a business based on fucking up local economies,
Starting point is 01:36:09 while at the same time leaning heavily on foreign migrants who are going to get one glimpse of a better life and it's living in the back of a fucking Tim Hortons, while at the same time you line your pockets and buy a third Bugatti, I'm glad that your business didn't work out. Happy news. Community notes. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:36:31 I'm, the community notes I have is hold the phone, October 19th, me and twos are here. We're working on lining up some guests and having a bit of fun with, as twos would call it, on Monday,
Starting point is 01:36:48 end game. And we'll see what, what comes of October the 19th, but we are going to have a show going on that day. Stop. Stop. Go back. Okay.
Starting point is 01:36:57 Say that again. but try and be excited about it. October 19th, baby, end game. The mashup is here. We're going to have guests that you can't believe. We're going to have so much fun. Tuesday is going to talk in so many different voices. It's going to be epic, and you need to mark your calendar.
Starting point is 01:37:17 I don't care if you're out working on the rig. You're, I don't know, sitting on the sidelines. You're at home. You're homeschooling the kids in the trailer. Wherever you're at. Make sure you tune in October 19th, okay? We want all you here. Share it far and wide.
Starting point is 01:37:35 Have watched parties. Go to a bar and tell him to put it on the screen. Go put it on a bar on the screen. 100%. We just literally invited Thomas Lukasik in all seriousness to come on. And we're trying to get as many people like him as possible. And by that, I mean, people with great hair. Mash up 226, folks.
Starting point is 01:38:00 No. Motherfucker. Come on. Mash spiel. Mass spiel. feels coming up in Kalmar details to be determined but in the meantime we need to find out if there's enough interest in doing a second one in Saskatchewan there probably isn't but on the off chance we're going to feel it out anyway so how are we going to how how are we going to
Starting point is 01:38:19 figure out if there's enough interest if you are interested then you need to text Sean okay you text Sean if you think that you would much prefer to go to one in Saskatchewan rather than going to one in Kalmar. Or even if you want to go to both, whatever. It's going to have all the stuff you love about the mass spiel, which is twos, without any of the stuff that you don't, which is Sean. Okay. True.
Starting point is 01:38:49 But we got to start figuring out the details on this. Let us know. Tonight, Keith Wilson, this is the first time this has ever been said on the mashup. I can definitively promise you that. You need to watch CBC tonight. because Keith Wilson is debating Jason Kenney about separation on CBC. Wow. That is tonight.
Starting point is 01:39:17 Also, Wow. Coming up in the next few days, let's talk. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Hey, you just tried to end the show, motherfucker. Yeah, I didn't know that part. It was in the notes. Doesn't that make it feel like it's, you know, everybody says it's not going to happen.
Starting point is 01:39:39 The numbers are so low, blah, blah, blah. There's so many more Canadian signs than Alberta signs, and they're just blah, blah, blah. Who says that? Tons of people. Tons of people are saying that. Really? Yeah. And now, once again, I'm out in Halifax, so forgive me.
Starting point is 01:39:57 So I'm watching that, and I'm like, I don't know. And then I see that Jason Kenney is going to debate Keith Wilson on the CBC. Yep. Wow. to me You know That to me signals it's way closer than any of us think I see
Starting point is 01:40:19 Doesn't it? Doesn't it? Am I wrong? The fact that Thomas Lukazik Thought his time would be better spent Flying to Toronto at the 11th hour Than knocking on a few more doors Tells you that he's worried about pivoting
Starting point is 01:40:31 That should have been the happy news This is getting real fucking interesting And I'll tell you this I granted I haven't gone all over this problem since this whole thing happened there started happening but not only do I see
Starting point is 01:40:46 more of the let Alberta decide signs like on the sides of roads yep I would say that even when I'm in around Calgary there's way more of them
Starting point is 01:41:00 than there are the Canada ones and the Canada ones are concentrated in specific areas ones with lots of old people, for example, or right around the university where you would expect that a lot of professors
Starting point is 01:41:17 and elbows up tards would be. Okay? So I'm curious to see. I bet you red deer is going to go pretty far stay in Canada because it's all a bunch of single mothers. Sometimes, sometimes Rick guys are their own worst enemies. But also,
Starting point is 01:41:37 let's talk Albert. road trip on Friday October 2nd which is today Lacombe Sylvan Lake Rocky Mountain House Caroline Sondry Cremona Cochran
Starting point is 01:41:52 all in one day so if you're in any of those areas that bus which actually I drove by I drove by it maybe a week ago and I honked this shit out of the air horn at it so yeah
Starting point is 01:42:07 I should point I'm glad you're bringing this up. Keith Wilson, as you were talking, reminded me of something. Keith Wilson's in Lloyd Minster. So in my hometown, if you go Tuesday, October 6th, okay, at the Wild Rose Pavilion, doors open at six, speakers start at seven. Keith Wilson is going to be there.
Starting point is 01:42:32 And the headline reads, haven't decided yet. Let's talk about it. Constitutional lawyer Keith Wilson has created a tour. transitional plan and a financial outlook to help you decide if you want to vote for option one to keep your relationship with our federal government the same or if you want to vote for option two which is a vote for change and that is Tuesday October 6th in lloyd minster keith wilson is going to be there i think that you know if you're on the fence lloyd's a special place to as you know because it sits right on the border half the city is in saskatchewan half is in alberta and the last time mitch sylvester was there
Starting point is 01:43:06 it got a touch heated um because they brought questions up about like well what's going to happen the rest of Lloyd how are we going to you know passports all the all the different things we're going to a Berlin wall and then Keith Wilson going to Lloyd is it is an interesting I know there'll be there should be lots of people interested in that so Keith Wilson Tuesday October 6th in Lloyd at the Wild Rose pavilion 7 p.m. that starts so for anyone back home make sure to spread the word on that yeah I imagine that he'll probably He's probably got the same opinion of that pipeline as I do, that it's nothing more than a thinly disguised Hail Mary.
Starting point is 01:43:47 Anything else before I let us out of here? That's it. Just Mashpiel, guys. Mashpiel. Mashpiel, referendum coverage on October 19th. And I guess I got to see about Monday and pulling something together. If I can, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:44:05 Tuesday is doing that. You know, folks, this is the way we operate. This is the way we do things. Like a little bit of pressure. This is why me agreeing to MC the next cornerstone was probably a horrible idea you're impossible to work with. Is that really what you think? Interesting. Interesting.
