Bihmila, Allaheim, al-a-hurtle-Alami and his
Godi-a-salam, and a resa-a-a-a-rāle-a, and al-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-aa-aaaaaaaaaaape of your brothers and sisters.
I pray that everyone is doing well and I ask Allah, Supanao Hōsa-No 2,000 for our sins of our showcomings.
And the Gods and Mercy, not only in this life remaining the next.
You know that the HODiz season is right around the corner, and we spoke about
about Hajj yesterday, and by the way, just to let anyone know for anyone who is struggling, like I said,
I did a tutorial video, particularly I released it this morning.
So, inshallah, if you haven't watched it, inshally, you can.
It's better if, you know, I had the actual, you know, cloth that you actually would be using.
But, you know, I didn't have that to use for the example.
So, inshallah, there's two examples you can use.
So, inshallah, go back and check that out, inshallah, to make sure you know,
if you don't know how to tie it at haram, you know how to tie one, inshallah.
One of the other things I want to mention here is how Hajj is a journey.
And one of the most powerful things I'm going to start this talk off with is that if this journey of Hodge that you're making does not change you, then nothing else is going to change you.
Because Hodge is one of the most difficult journeys to make, not just physical, but also spiritual.
And sometimes it's difficult spiritually in a harder terms and standpoint as well for the sacrificing aspect and also the giving up aspect and also the trying to,
continuously bear these burdens is what it feels like.
I'm going to say what it feels like.
To bear these burdens is for physically to raise burdens of walking and to
bear the burdens of having to sleep on a rock and having to be out in the open and having
to not have the status that you have here and has to have the comfortability that you
have here.
So one of the things I will mention is that this is a journey of the heart.
This is a journey of the soul and this ultimately is a journey back to Allah
Supperahua'u'u'u'u'a.
Now I want to reflect on the beautiful life-changing journey of Hajj.
Now, Hajj is not simply a travel.
It's not simply tourism.
It's not simply just visiting the beautiful and blessed city of Mecca.
But Hajj is a journey of the heart back to Allah, Suhpanraud.
And Allah mentions this in the Quran in which he says and proclaim to the people of Hajj.
They will come to you on foot and on every lean camel.
They will come from every distant pass.
They will come from all around.
And for centuries, millions upon millions of people have answered this call.
Rich and poor, young and old, different languages, different cultures, and nations.
All wearing the same simple garment, all calling upon their Lord, Sopanahu,
it's all the same, and all speaking to their Lord the exact same, even if it's in different languages.
They're still speaking to Allah directly.
And they also are making the call, Labik Allah, Allah, Whamma, Labik.
Here I come, O Allah, here I come.
Now, Hodge changes a person when it is performed with sincerity.
And the Prophet of Allah, Aed Hew's Salaam, said that whoever performs Hajj for Allah, Sufano,
and does not commit a sin or any wrongdoing will return like the day his mother gave birth to him, or to him, sorry, to him.
So what this means is that your slate will be white clean, right?
It will be as if you have been rebirthed again from this journey of Hodge.
If you do it with sincerity and if you do it for Allah, Sufanoi-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a.
So imagine returning back from this beautiful journey, purified from your sins, right?
Which is why we say a new journey, we say a new beginning, and we also say a renewed soul.
So this is why Haj is one of the greatest blessings that Allah Sufana-Hu-Tal can give a servant.
Now the real question is, is, are we willing to accept Haj?
First off, and will Hajj change our hearts?
Now, the first thing I want to mention is that many people complete the rituals physically.
but they miss out on the true part and the true success within these these these uh this haj
and that is the spiritual aspect of it and that is when it comes to gaining closeness to all
suprana hua when it also comes to praying when it also comes to your dua when it comes to
your ifkad and when it comes to your vicar and when it comes to your sacrifice is for allah supranah
hu isada one of the most commonly things that you're sacrificing here when you go for haj is
actually your comfort right you're not comfortable
like you normally would be here.
You can't just walk downstairs and go grab something from the fridge
and then come out upstairs and kind of chill, right?
You can't do that here.
And us comparing ourselves walking downstairs,
you know, from downstairs to upstairs
and maybe walking around the neighborhood a couple of times,
it's completely different than when you're actually going on a journey
in which you're doing a whole lot of walking.
If I had a diagram right now,
I would show you how much walking you have to actually do.
If I could explain it to you, I would.
But it's a lot of walking you have to do, right?
And this is for some people, it could be very, very difficult.
right and for most people it is but for a lot of people it can be very very difficult to complete
but if you have that true sincerity for allah supranahua ta'all then Allah will make it easier for you
and this right here one of the signs of an accepted Hajj is when you get in closeness to
Allah is when you don't want to do those sins anymore which I don't remember I don't know if any
of you remember when we did I did a journey to the divine one of the things I mentioned in there
is accepted toba is when you do not want to commit that sin again when you find that sin is taking
away your time when you find that there's no point at even doing this thing anymore.
I don't feel pleasure or contentment from doing this.
There's no point, right?
That's how you know there's an accepted talba and a closeness to Allah,
subhanna, who is a closeness ultimately back to Allah, into Quran, into your Salah, right?
So one of the ways of an accepted Hajj is pretty much so the same.
It's when your al-Halak improved, is when your Salah improves, is when you love the Quran,
and your love for the Quran improves as well and increases.
Now, Hajj teaches us that Islam is not just only actions of the body, but also actions of the heart.
And when you see the Kaaba, for the first time, tears flow and tears come.
Why?
Because you realize and your heart recognizes that the greatness only comes from Allah, Sufanaoata.
This greatness that I'm witnessing is only from Allah, right?
No matter what people have tried to do, no matter what has happened in my life, this greatness is only from Allah.
this is the most beautiful gift I can ever see and I can ever witness in my life.
And when you make tewa on the Kaaba, we learn that we must become the center,
that Allah, Supperu's a, I'm sorry, I keep stuttering here, I'm sorry.
Allah suhpanihu isa must become the center of our lives.
And when you, you know, go between Saffer and Mawa, just like Hajar,
a hajah, or really Allah, andha, did a woman who completely depended upon Allah,
it puts that dependence in us.
It allows for us to remember that.
We are only dependent upon Allah.
No matter what we are doing right now,
only Allah,
is the one who will help us
through whatever it is that we're going through.
When you stand on the day of Arafah,
making a dua.
It reminds us of what?
It reminds us of the day of judgment.
It reminds us of when all of humanity
will stand before Allah,
subanahu, His Allah.
When we all stand before Allah,
we're uncomfortable,
we're on a plane that's uncomfortable,
and I don't mean flying plane.
I mean a plane like the ground.
We're on a plane that's uncomfortable.
We're on a ride.
that's uncomfortable. We're in a place and a space right now at this point in time, which is uncomfortable.
You're sleeping on a rock. Who would imagine that? Like, oh, I get to sleep in my bed, and then now I'm
going to go travel to a place where I got to go sleep on a rock. That's only for Allah, Sufanao'u'u'hata.
And if you have the ability to do so, you should do so. One of the other things I want to mention
is the virtues of Hajj. The rewards of Hajj are of Hajj are immense. And the Prophet
Allah Allahe Allahe He was said, an accepted Hajj has no reward except paradise.
Right. So the accepted Haj has no reward except for paradise.
So, Safanahalah, jinnah itself is the reward. How great a reward is that?
Accepted Haj, you're going to gain jinnah, inshallah.
So every hardship that is carried throughout, uh, haj, the walking, the heat, the exhaustion, the patience, the sacrifice.
Nothing is wasted for Allah, Sufana, and everything is gained.
All that walking that you did to have the comfort of, uh, to have the comfort into hereafter.
And our Hajj also teaches us finally here.
It teaches us unity.
Because millions of us are dressed in white and in black for the women.
We're dressed in this white and this black garment equal before Allah, Sufanoi'u, ta'a.
No status, no wealth, no race, no security.
So, you know, no security over each other except through our taqua,
except through our closeness to Allah, except for our fear and our want to be closeness to Allah,
and our God.
And our goals of Hajj should be to strengthen our relationship with Allah.
It should be to purify our hearts.
It should be to increase in our taqua.
It should be to seek forgiveness
and it should ultimately be
to return as renewed
and better believers and better Muslims.
And Allah, Suhannahu Tala mentions that
in the Quran in which he says,
it takes provisions, right?
Meaning take provisions from this dunya.
But indeed, the best provision is tukwa.
So the best provision and the greatest provision
for our haj isn't your money,
it isn't your luggage, it isn't the resort that you go to,
it isn't the hotel, it isn't the spot
in what you are, you know,
when you're at Muzderifa, it isn't the tent that you're in in Mena, but rather it is your takwa.
That is what separates the believers.
And finally, my dear brothers and sisters, protecting your Hajj, this is the final thing I'll mention here, protecting your Hajj.
Do not let sins destroy the beauty of Hajj.
Avoid arguments, avoid showing off, avoid anger, avoid backbiting, avoid complaining, and ultimately avoid wasting time, especially on your phones.
Do not even think for a moment.
Let me go on my phone and scroll real quick,
because next thing you know it, now you've wasted hours with,
and you didn't realize it.
So, Allah, Suhpano Huat'ah, mentions this,
and he mentions that there is to be no foul language,
no sin, and no arguing during Hajj.
So stay away from that,
which is displeasing to Allah,
and do not destroy your own Fahajahad for you,
because Hodge is difficult enough to actually go for,
and you do not want to destroy that for you.
Also, ensure you're protecting your tongue,
ensure you protect your eyes and ultimately protect your heart
because an accepted Hajj is not just about where the body travels
but it is ultimately about where the heart arrives
so many brothers and sisters Hajj is a reminder that our entire life journey
is going to be back to Allah Sufana hua'u'adha
and this is a journey ultimately a life journey to Allah subanahua'u'u'a
because after Hajd we don't turn around and do the same things we did
before Hajd because that is an unaccepted Hajj
that Hajj has not been accepted by Allah suhpana hua'u'adah
but rather we go and we renew and we become better believers we want to be like those whom
Allah saffana huaata accepts we want to be among those whom Allah to find our who
who isah forgives and we ultimately ultimately want to be among those who Allah
Sufana huaata pardoned us and we want to be among those who Allah safanahua a Allah
who we gain closeness to Allah saffaniahu ata a so many brothers and sisters whether we
are going for Hajj this year or not we can still prepare our hearts today in this very
moment through repentance through sincerity through ibaida through sabbara and patience and love for
all of us upon a huaata we ask all the opportunity to perform haj we ask Allah supranahua
Allah to accept it from the hujad we ask Allah suhpanihuitaa to purify our hearts and renew
our faith and we ask Allah saupena hua a lauata to allow for us to return to him with clean hearts
on this day on a day in which we will meet with him and we ask Allah sae panna huaaida to
for our sins and our showcomings and grant us a special mercy not only in this life
and mainly in the next.
We are through that one, and al-hambuliluilah, Herbal, Amean, tisaghu and all
good with your brothers and sisters.
And al-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-ee.
