Bismillah, Rihman, and al-hameh, al-hameh,
and al-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-aaaa and aishaaa
and allahe, and allahehah, and Aishaa,
and Aishe, and sisters,
I pray that everyone is doing well,
and I ask Allah, to forgive us all of our sins
are our shortcomings, to the grass of special mercy,
and only in this life, but mainly in the next.
My brothers and sisters,
particularly in episode 7 of the series,
turning back to Allah, Sufana,
which is a short reminder series,
I pray that everyone is learning,
and benefiting from it, inshallahata a for the sake of Allah.
And I also pray that, inshallah,
that we all are tuning in for it.
It comes in the morning time.
Lately, though, the scheduling has been a bit off.
I apologize for that, actually,
because just today we came out with the first one at, I believe,
8, 9 o'clock or something like that.
So I apologize for that.
We didn't have it rightly scheduled.
But, inshallah, we will resolve the issue.
Inshallah, won't be like that again.
It will go back to 5.30 just to let you know now.
My brothers and sisters, in that particular episode, we speak about sadaka and charity and how it's a very fundamental aspect of our lives and how it's very important.
And we all want money, right? And we all need it in this dunya.
But also we have to give out of love for the sake of Allah, Supanahua Tala, and out of gratitude for the fact that he has bestowed blessings upon us, he hasn't bestowed upon others.
And in the, it is, you know, it is our pursuit of wealth driven by the desire, you know, for fame, for stay.
or for material possessions of this world,
or is it truly motivated by a higher purpose
to please Allah, Sufana, hua Tallah,
and earn a special place in Jinnah,
through our charitable actions,
which is why in society,
you really realize that money is often equated
with success and happiness, right?
But you see individuals striving tirelessly
day after day to accumulate that wealth,
believing that it will bring them
some sort of fulfillment and recognition,
but otherwise it actually doesn't.
And it means it actually just tires you out,
and it's a waste of time.
Because if you really look at it,
how we have been taught to use our wealth,
we use it in a ways,
in a means of goodness, right?
And how we spend our wealth,
how we earn our wealth,
and trying to ensure that we are not
building a relationship with our wealth
over Allah, Sufana-ho-ta-ta-da.
Because it happens.
Sometimes people worship money
and sometimes people worship wealth.
We ask Allah-Supam-Han-a-to-prot to protect us all from that,
I mean.
But when you start to worship wealth,
it becomes your main priority
to gain so much of it,
to spend of it and to use it so much.
And then at this point now,
you started to stray off from believing in Allah
and worshiping Allah and trying to better your relationship with Allah
to now trying to worship money and believing in money
as it will bring you goodness
and it will bring you pleasures of the dunya, right?
And this is exactly why.
Allah, Sufana-ha-a-ta-a-ha-ha has blessed us with wealth.
It is essential for us to remember that this wealth that we have
is a test from Allah sufana-ho-ta-a-ha-ha.
And it's not merely a means to elevate our status or indulge in luxuries,
but rather it should instead be an opportunity to demonstrate our gratitude to
Allah, Supperan, Hehā, Allah, for his countless blessings.
As Allah suhpana huaara reminds us in the Quran, he says,
and spin in the way of Allah, Sufana, He says,
and do not throw yourselves with your own hands into destruction by refraining by refraining.
And do good, indeed, Allah suhpanao Tala loves the doers of good.
So Allah'supamata reminds us that if you truly want to be loved by Allah, then you have to give.
If you want to be loved by Allah, one of the qualities that Allah subhpamata loves is giving.
He loves those who do it for his sake.
But also, my brothers and sisters, don't forget that charity or saddaka is a fundamental aspect of our amen, right, or our faith.
Because just as iBada, right, we think that our ibada is just worship.
and praying and making dua and performing dikr,
it also is charity as well for the sake of Allah suhpana huaada.
And when it comes to charity, it's not a loss of money,
because many of us say that.
Many of us say, oh, man, you know, I only have such and such amount of money.
If I give, you know, half of this money,
if I give this little portion of money,
it's going to reduce it.
And this is why the hadith I want to mention in a minute
is going to go and pertain just exactly to that.
But when it comes to our, you know, money,
it's not a loss, right?
But rather it's actually a purification of our wealth.
which is why when we give, we are not diminishing our resources,
but rather we are enhancing our spiritual state
and we're drawing closer to Allah, suihan or what'sh.
Which is why the hadith I wanted to mention here
was when the Prophet of Allah a.m. said,
the charity that you give will not decrease your wealth.
So this statement that he's making here
encapsulates the essence of our giving,
saying that when we give out of love, generosity, gratitude, and compassion
for others and for the sake of the love,
we actually are acknowledging that everything that we possesses,
ultimately belongs to Allah supranahua
our wealth is an amana from Allah is a trust and how we utilize it reflects our
a alaqa and our iman right it reflects our character and our faith which is why
charity also serves as a means of earning Allah supranahua ta'al
pleasure and securing a place in Jinnah which is why the Prophet of
Allah a a a lai al-h a salem emphasized the importance of helping those in need
stating that the one who helps the needy will be shaded on by or shaded by
Allah supranahua ta on the day of judgment.
So this promise
that Allah subana huta is giving to us
is a reminder that our
acts of generosity, our acts of kindness
have eternal significance, right?
It shouldn't just be about temporary
significance because the dunya's temporary.
The money is temporary. The material
possessions we have for temporary.
Because just like I have my clothing, when I return to
Allah, it's going to go, right?
When you return to Allah, when you return
to anything in this room right now,
anything in the entire world,
goes back to Allah. So all the material possessions we have don't belong to us. They are just given
to us and they're held for a certain portion of time by us, which is why it is also, my dear brothers
and sisters, a very big responsibility for us to have wealth and very financial responsibilities.
And we have to ask ourselves these questions day after day of are we actually using our wealth
to uplift others? Are we contributing to causes that align with our values and the teachings
of Islam? Are we mindful of our impact on
you know of our financial decisions and how they what they have upon this
umma upon the community and upon the world at large because in this blessed
month of Ramadan my brothers and sisters we should not just be training ourselves
to think about ourselves right should not just be training our nefs think about yourself
think about oh allahum the nefsy nefsy oh allah help me with my nefs my nefs but
rather allah humita umita all help me with my umma help me umma right so ensure my
dear brothers and sisters that you are trying your absolute hardest to give for the sake of
Allah and during the month of Ramadan we are also reminded of the importance of charity and generosity
as it is a time for us to reflect on how we can use our resources the wealth that
Allah supanah has granted us to serve those around us which it doesn't have to just be our
family it doesn't have to be our loved ones our friends it could actually be our community
it can be the umma at whole so trying to help my dear brothers and sisters because charity is a
purification of wealth, not a loss.
So just if you really want to,
you want to give out of true sincerity,
out of really loving Allah, suhphanahua-ta-a-da,
then you have to give for the sake of Allah.
And like I said before, we all want money, but why?
The true question is if we want it just so we can become famous,
if we can use it for this dunya, or is it to gain more?
And you have to truly understand that it should only be
to earn the pleasure of Allah,
to earn a spot in Jinnah just because of your charity.
because charity is not a means of loss of money.
It's a purification and it's actually an enhancement of your spiritual state.
It's going to help you, not in this life, but in the next life.
Because just as you're giving, you can't see the reward for your giving if you're only doing it for Allah,
which is why yesterday we also talked about sincerity in your iBada, which is very important.
Because a sign that Allah, Sufana-ho-ta-ta-a-a-a-a-a-a-l gives you and he loves that when he gives you is sincerity as well.
when you have the sincerity to give
because Allah's Allah has blessed you
if you are watching right now
if you are sitting here right now
if I'm standing where I am standing right now
Allah's blessed us
because there are people who don't have limbs
there are people who cannot speak
there are people who cannot do anything for themselves
there are people who actually barely can breathe
and they have to be on a machine to breathe
yet I can breathe fresh air
we should be grateful
this is the month of Ramadan
the time for gratitude
my brothers and sisters be grateful
and be generous
to others, be grateful for the blessings
of Allah Sufana-hoi-ta-a has placed upon us
and give out love, give out respect,
give out honor to those around you.
It's not just about the conditions
that people have going on,
but rather it's about being grateful
for the condition that you've been placed in,
for the fact that you've been placed in a condition
that's actually better than a lot of people.
A lot of people have to worry every day,
am I going to have a morsel of food?
Am I going to actually be able to eat something?
Even if it may just be a piece of grass,
people have to think about that.
but we don't.
We can open our refrigerators whenever we want.
And when we're fasting, we feel these hungers and we get upset and we say,
oh, I'm so hungry right now, just want to eat something.
And then after that, we go and we're, oh, man, I just, oh, the food's so good.
But think about those who are actually suffering right now who actually don't have the food to eat.
But your brothers and sisters, do not let the consumption of wealth
and the blessings of Allah, Sufana, Hei, Allah, be overtaken by your nefs and by your desires
and by the love of money in this dunya.
Focus on your relationship that you have with Allah
and focus on the relationship you have with money
because it's good to have money.
I'm not saying you shouldn't, right?
And that's a commonality thing.
People believe that as Muslims,
we shouldn't have money.
We shouldn't strive to have money.
No, we are supposed to have money
for the sake of Allah.
We're supposed to use it in good,
which is exactly why Allah,
is upon our huazada has made it compulsory
upon us for zakat.
You have to pay your zakat if you have the amount of money.
And I'm not going to get too in depth into that.
Inshahah, that would be a talk
on that, not in this series, but maybe in this series, I don't know, but not in this series,
not right now, but my brothers and sisters, remember that your blessings from Allah
Sufana-ho-ta-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a are far greater than the blessings of a lot of people have.
Just being able to have a dollar or two dollars and giving amount of money, it's not about
the amount that you give, it's about the quality, right?
Which is one thing I also want to teach you here, my brother and sisters for the
short period of time I have for about 30 seconds.
sometimes we look at the quantity but not the quality and Allah
Sufana hua Tala has taught the Prophet of Allah have someone and the Prophet of
Sama a sultan in which he says the best and most beloved of these two
Allah safana hua Tala are those that are done consistently even if they're small
right so even if you're only giving one dollar a day in the month of Ramadan
it's multiplied only Allah safahan a know us how many because we can say 70,000
We can say it may be 7,000.
We can say it's 70, but only Allah,
Sufana-Hu-Tahah notes.
We're going to leave that to Allah.
But my dear brothers and sisters,
this month of Ramadan give,
and don't just give in the month of Ramadan,
but give, period.
Because it is an obligation upon every Muslim
to look out for your brothers and sisters
around the world,
not just in your community,
not just in some little part of the world
that you like,
not just your friends and your family,
but rather around the whole world,
my brothers and sisters.
We ask Allah,
to grant us the ability to give for
his sake to renew our intentions, to allow for our intentions to be purely for his sake,
to forgive us for our sins and our shortcomings, to grant us his special mercy not only in this
life, remaining the next, to accept our fast from us as we have now entered into day eight for us
and day nine for others. Midey and sisters, we are almost hitting the first portion,
the first quarter of the month of Ramadan is about to be over. My brothers and sisters,
try your absolute hardest to work more towards bettering yourself, bettering your relationship
with Allah,
Sufana-hu-Tala,
bettering the bad habits that you have,
bettering the good habits that you have,
you know,
and try your absolute heart
of my brothers and sisters
to give, even if it's small,
consistently,
just a small portion of sadaqa or charity
in the Matur-Ramadan.
We ask Allah to accept it all from us.
Zahul-Haharan the good for joining me again tonight.
I pray that Allah grants us Tafiq
and grace us the understanding
to be able to benefit from these things
in place them in our lives.
I speak firstly to myself.
Please forgive me if I said anything wrong
if I made any mistakes.
I ask Allah,
Commileur, Toallahate of the Ghost Ball, my dear brothers and sisters, and
our palette, and al-a-wa'a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-aqt
and your brothers and sisters.
