and braitha to my brothers and sisters
I pray that everyone is doing well
and I ask Allah suhpana hurw
to go as far as sins of our shortcomings
and joyous and special mercy
not only this life for me and the next
my brothers and sisters
today I want to remind us
of the choice that we make
every single day and that is
choosing the luxury
of the Achaura
over the dunya. We live
in a world that constantly tells us to
chase more, chase more money, chase more fame, chase more followers,
chase more materialistic possessions, chase more status, chase more comfort,
chase more attention.
The dunya beautifies itself before us.
It promises happiness but often leaves people empty,
and it promises satisfaction, but always demands more.
And Allah subhannahu, what Ta'ada describes the people of the past who came,
who became distracted by worldly pleasures in Surawakia,
Allah subhpanihu Tala mentions this beautifully in which he says in Surah, I, uh, Surah, uh,
4,8.5, he says, Inna hum can't be able to that al-a-thraffin.
He says, indeed, before this torment, they were spoiled by luxury.
This ayah is powerful because Allah, Supperna, Torah, Allah is describing people who became so attached
to comfort, luxury and worldly enjoyment that they forgot their true purpose.
Their hearts became so occupied with the Dunya that they neglected their preparation for the hereafter.
And the problem is not wealth itself.
Islam does not prohibit wealth because many of the companions in the time of the Prophet of Allah al-Aleu's-Slam were wealthy.
The problem is when the Dunya enters the heart and becomes more beloved than Allah, Suhpana-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-and-asked.
And ask yourself, when Salah calls, what do you choose?
When you have free time, what occupies your heart?
what do you think about most?
What are you sacrificing the most for for Allah suhpana huaata?
Because what you sacrifice for reveals what you truly value in this dunya and in the hereafter.
Now choosing achara over this dunya does not mean that you need to abandon the dunya completely.
Because Islam teaches us balance.
It teaches us to have balance in our daily lives.
When you have balance with your transactions, we have balance in, you know, praying your sala.
Not to pray too much, not to pray too little.
not to neglect, you know, your family and not to completely, you know, focus mainly on them,
for that to become your main focus in life.
But we should not be, you know, committed to neglecting family.
We should not be committed to neglecting our work, our studies, or our responsibilities.
But rather, we are commanded by Allah, Sufana-hohata, to make him the center of everything that we do.
And the believer is productive in both Ahrara and Dunya.
and when you work honestly to provide for your family, that is Ibadah.
When you seek beneficial ilm or you seek knowledge, that is Ibada.
When you run a business with honesty and integrity, that is Ibadah.
So it also includes as well when you care for your parents,
when you raise righteous children, help your community and serve others
for the sake of Allah, Sufana and Herra with sincerity and with true intention, that is Ibadah.
And the key here that I want to make before I go on to the next point is that this is all through your intention, through your Nia.
If your intention is pure, then all of this will be accepted by Allah, Suhpana, or Hu,u, Ta'a.
But if it is not pure, then it will not be accepted by Allah, Sufanao'u'u'a'a'a'a.
And many people are busy.
Many of us are busy.
We're working, we're doing, we're trying to provide for our families.
We're trying to do as many things as we can do.
And we are working tirelessly throughout the days, but we're not being productive.
We spend hours scrolling, chasing distractions, and pursuing things that bring little benefit in this life or the next.
And a Muslim should ask, will this bring me closer to Allah, supranahua, will this benefit me in the
Dunya, will this benefit me in the Ahrah?
Because the most productive Muslim is the one who combines both worlds.
They pray their Salah on time, but they also work hard.
They remember Allah, but they also strive for excellence.
They prepare for their careers, families, and their futures, never forgetting that their ultimate destination is.
is Jinnah. And the companions of the Prophet of Allah
Al-Ale-A-Hu-Sle-Selam built civilizations. They traded, they taught,
they lit communities, and they served
humanity. Yet, their hearts remained attached to
Allah, and they're hereafter.
This is the balance in which we should seek.
And the luxury of this
Dunya is temporary. A beautiful
house will one day belong to someone else.
A luxury car will eventually rust.
Fame fades, beauty fades.
Wealth disappears. Even our own
lives will eventually come to an end, and we will
return back to Allah, Suhpano and the true luxury isn't how many material possessions that I have.
It's not how many houses that I have.
It's not how much wealth that I accumulate in my time.
It's how many good deeds that I do.
How many good deeds that I put forth?
How many salas have I prayed with sincerity?
How many good deeds have I done solely just for Allah?
Not for anyone else, not for any pleasure, not for any thanks, not for any wealth, not for any money, only for Allah.
Because many of us find that, yes, we're doing good deeds, but are we doing it for the wealth?
Are we doing it for the fame? Are we doing it for Allah?
And if we are trying to do it for Allah, is our intention pure and our attention sincere?
Is our intention only to do this for Allah, suhpana hua Tala?
No one else.
And do we have the true sincerity of a mullah who they say that even if I am getting thanked,
even if I am getting praised, even if I am getting paid and I'm getting money and, you know,
I'm becoming more famous with what I'm doing, I'm only doing it for Allah because all of this is temporary.
Because just as in Sorda Takaaf, Allah, Allah, Sipanahua'u atá'u-a-ta-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha mentions that
There will be those who they waste this dunya thinking that they are doing good and that they are befitting themselves for the A'Hara.
Yet their intention was not sincere.
Yet their sincerity was not there.
Yet they were doing it to please others.
And they wasted this whole Dunya thinking that I have my A'Ahtra.
My A'Ara is going to be set.
I don't have to worry about anything.
Yet Allah, Suu'u'u'u'a'u'a says that on that day when they come, it will be as if they did nothing.
So my brothers and sisters, the believer truly understands that,
Every single act of iBada is an investment in their for their eternal home.
So when you wake up for Fajira and you struggle to wake up for Fajar, you are choosing the A'Hara.
When you lower your gaze, you're choosing the A'Hara.
When you wear a hijab for Allah, subhanna-Hu-Tal.
You are choosing the A-Hara.
When you give in charity, you're choosing the A-Hara.
When you forgive someone for the sake of Allah, you're choosing the A-Hara.
Because every day, every choice, every sacrifice is either building your Dunea or building your A-Hara.
And the wise believer is not the one who has the most in this Dunya.
The wise believer is the one who arrives before Allah,
Sufana-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a with the most deeds.
And the wise believer is also the one who uses this Dunya
to gain more good deeds for the sake of Allah,
and to help for the day of judgment.
Just imagine standing on the day of judgment
and seeing the reward Allah-Safan-Hu-Talala prepared for every psalah,
for every fast, for every act of patience,
for every act of charity,
for every tear shed in repentance at that moment,
every sacrifice for Allah, Suhannahu, Tala will feel small.
And it will feel as though the reward was way better than that sacrifice.
Even though you had to give up comfort,
even though you had to give up some wealth,
even though you had to give up your time,
even though you had to give up the comfort of this dunya,
you did it, and Allah, Sufanao'u'u'u'a gave you the forever reward of the Acha and the forever reward of Jinnah,
because every struggle will feel as if it was worth it.
Every temptation resisted will have been worth it.
My brothers and sisters, do not trade anything in this, anything for your achara,
for a temporary pleasure.
Do not trade the luxury of Jinnah for the luxury of a few years in this dunya.
Use the dunya, but do not let it use you.
Live in it, but do not let it lit into your heart.
Work hard in this world, but work even harder for the next.
Build your career.
Do not neglect your Salah.
Pursue success, but do not forget your Lord.
earn wealth and ensure that you are
investing in your A'ahara because your goal should always be
Allah Sufana'u'u'a'a His pleasure and his paradise
and Allah suhpani'u'a'a'a mentions
how the believers will be blessed with everything that they went through
with all of the hardships, with all of the challenges, with all of the sacrifices
that they went through for all of those good deeds that they put forth
they would be granted jinnett al-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a
to grant us for us all. I mean,
one of the best things that you can do
is to give up the luxury of this
Dunya and to become a person
who works hard for the A'Hara
because the A'Hara is way more important
than this Dunya.
You're only going to be in this Dunya for what feels
as if it's only a couple of years
if that, it may feel shorter than that.
It's going to be a small period of time.
But while you have the opportunity,
use each and every single day to work towards
earning the pleasure of
Allah, Sahuahua'u'll beaerwa, earning Jinan Tufuadu'lla,
because the best of people are not those who work in this dunya for this
dunya the best of people are those who work in this dunya for their aahara
they put up the best in this dunya for their ahera
and their main goal always stays the a'ahira they never lose track
they never lose focus on their main goal is the a'ahara
we ask all suhpana hua ta a grandis al jana sir for those ala
and sisters the last point i'll mention here
is if you feel if you don't feel motivated enough to get up and work
If you don't feel motivated enough to get up and do, remember the rewards which Allah,
Sufana Hu, Tala mentioned.
And one of the other things, Allah, Sufanao Tala tells us in the Quran,
Allah subhpanoi Tala has told us that the believers who do righteous deeds, the believers
who put forth good efforts, the believers who do it only for Allah, Sufanaoara, will have
the gardens of paradise for their abode, in which they will stay in and they will dwell in forever.
We ask Allah, Sufanoi Tala, to grant us that.
We ask Allah, Sufanao, Tala, to make us amongst those whoiataa will make us,
choose the A'Hara over the Dunya, who are productive in both the worlds, who use their
time wisely and who are gathered among the people of the people of the Fulah, al-A'a-Laharlah,
Amin, and a'Ahrer, Rhaqulah, Rhaeim.
