Bismillah, Aramman, and al-hahemal-a-hameh,
and al-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-aaaaaa and aishaa and aishae and allahehah and his
haehaehae and hishabi, adams and your brothers and sisters, I pray that
everyone is doing well and I ask Allah,
subhahua-ta-a-ta-ta-to-he goes for our sins of our shortcomings
and grinnednesses and grace, and the next.
My brothers and sisters, I also ask Allah,
to accept our fast and our efforts from us
and to allow for us to witness later to the Qadr.
My dear brothers and sisters, I mean,
When I want to make this point clear.
I got a question.
I got asked a question yesterday.
Particularly, I'm not going to say I saw it yesterday night,
but rather I saw it this morning, early this morning.
It was actually before I completely started my day,
even though, you know, let's just say starting the day
will consist of waking up.
But let's just say, in my case,
it would have been starting the day of work.
Let's say that, starting the day of work of getting ready to prepare this talk,
these two talks for tonight.
al-hahah al-hahahublai i mean the person asked the question and they said why do you always say witness
leis of cadr if what if we've already witnessed it in the first couple of nights of matur ramadan
i do want to mention this as well there's a there's a hadith in which the professor
allah a lai-u-sallem was near it to have said he said don't just seek leaith of cadur when
there's nine remain there seven remaining five three or one remaining he says but seek lea's of
color every single night.
Not just to seek Lazyzerk other than the 27th, right?
So even just trying our absolute hardest, my brothers and sisters to seek it every
single night.
And the reasoning why I actually say we ask Allah to allow for us to witness Lerz al-Az al-Qa
is not because I don't believe that we might have, you know, seen Ler Tavqad.
But the fact that, you know, inshallah, if we haven't seen Lerrath and Caharer, we ask
a lot to witness it, you know, for us to witness it.
And if we have already, we ask Allah Sman-Ara to bless us with it.
You know, I don't want to go through a long introduction of just making the doafers that lay it with Qatar.
Oh, Allah, we ask you to, you know, if we've already seen it, we ask you to bless us, you know,
and we ask you to forgive us if we made mistakes at night and do this.
And this is that I just keep it short to, we ask Allah to allow for us to witness it of khaqa,
and inshallah, as well, make the most of it.
So, inshallah, just to go through that question.
But today specifically, and I don't know if anybody here is here and has realized,
but after Maghrib, we spoke about Dhikr and remembrance of Allah, right?
Most of you don't understand that.
Yes, we spoke about vicar and remembers Allah.
Lately, the seeking mediter of color series has been pairing into a journey to divine.
And I want to pair that into here.
The vicar that softens the heart and protects the tongue, and we'll go deeper into this.
When I go through the first vicar that softens the heart, right?
What is dicker that softens the heart?
Dikar that softens the heart is remembering Allah constantly, right?
And trying your absolute hardest to remember Allah constantly.
And when you remember Allah constantly, it protects your tongue.
How does it protect your tongue?
It protects your tongue because you're not in a state of backbiting, of gossip, of talking bad about others, right?
Of saying negative things, of doing things that are displeasing with your tongue.
And as well as there's also, and of course, it's not going to be mentioned in the title,
but just to go into the context of that, if we added that in there as well, it's also the thicker that protects the fingers as well.
If you're performing the dikr with your fingers as well, it's also, sorry, I suffer for my left hand, my right hand.
It's also the vicar that protects your hands and your fingers as well.
Now, what I want to speak about in this session, I want to do, I do want to explore how
thikr can soften our hearts and protect our tongues, leading to a more meaningful and
compassionate existence, right?
And I want to go over the nature of the heart.
So the first thing I want to mention is how Imam Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,
advise to fill your heart with mercy, love, and kindness.
And also the remembers of Allah.
So highlighting that the heart, not only need, we need to be aware of it, but also we need to be compassionate.
Right.
We need to ensure that we're showing love.
We need to ensure that we're remembering Allah.
And the heart is often described in Islamic teachings as the center of emotion, your intentions, and consciousness.
And it is a main portion of our lives.
Muslims, which is why vicar is such a very powerful tool.
It serves a very powerful tool to come back, forgetfulness that can cloud our hearts.
And it is through the remembrance of Allah, Sufana, Hewetal, that we find peace and clarity,
which is why Allah, subramalara reminds us in the Quran.
He says, barely in the remembrance of Allah, do hearts find rest?
So there are multiple types of vikr, remembrance of Allah.
And I want to mention three, three types, specifically, just three.
The first type is verbal vicar.
That is reciting phrases like
Suphan Allah al-Handul-ilah,
la-il-a-el-all-I-Lah, Allah-Aqabur,
you know, in different things like that.
That is verbal vikr,
thikr, that reminds us of Allah
verbally, right, with our tongues.
Then you have the heartfelt vikr
or the sincere vikr or the vikr of the heart.
And that is reflecting on Allah
Sufana-Hu-Tal's attributes,
his names and attributes
and the signs of his creation,
which helps deepen our understanding.
understanding and our appreciation of his mercy and power.
And I want to go to the last one.
The last one is very beautiful as well.
And this is the last form of vicar I want to mention here.
And that is the vicar of dua, the dhqr of supplication.
It doesn't seem as if it could be vicar, but when you call upon Allah suhmanu'll
with sincerity, as exemplified in, you know, the hadith in which the Prophet of Allah,
a Allah, He was a sudden taught us a supplication for relief from distress, you know,
and inshallah, I'm not going to mention that hadith right now because we are short on time.
want to keep this one shorter. I don't know if anyone's noticed that I don't want to get too far off
the path, but I don't know if you're doing to notice this, but we have been keeping these talks
for these last 10 episodes a lot shorter. Some have been a little longer, but mainly a lot shorter
as well, because we are trying to maximize on our I bada. I'm trying to give a short reminder,
and then we go maximize on our bada. So, inshallah, all of five more minutes, inshallah
but what I do want to also mention here is that it's very important to emphasize the importance
of turning back to Allah, Allah, Sufana, Hehahua, in all needs, especially with our vicar.
And when it comes to Dikr as a shield, we spoke about this last night, right?
We spoke about how Dikr is a means of a barrier between you and the Shaitan, right?
It's a shield against you and the Shaitan.
And then when it comes to engaging in Dikr, not only does it soften your heart,
but it serves as a protective barrier for our tongues.
And Allah, Suhparnan, reminds us in the Quran.
Whoever turns away from the remembrance or the Dikr of Ar Rahman,
we appoint for him a shaitan.
Right.
So when we neglect Dikr, we become vulnerable to neglect thoughts and harmful speech.
Regular remembrance of Allah, Sufran or Ho'u'u'u'u'a helps us to speak with kindness and wisdom only from Allah.
The wisdom is only from Allah and the kindness only from Allah.
And also it helps us to steer away from gossip, backbiting, slander, and harmful words that we may spread.
Right?
And we don't realize it sometimes.
Which is why also steps to cultivate that are ones like setting specific times.
right? This is something that I'll give a little bit of advice on.
I advise that you set specific times sometimes, and other times you don't.
It's up to you at that point.
What I mean by this is that you want to keep your tongue wet with remembrance of Allah 24-7.
Let's just not say 24-7, but let's just say it as much as you can because there are times that you know,
you may need to go to do a business call or you may need to do this or you may need to do the school or whatever it is, right?
but I do want you to realize that when you designate a time for your Dikker, such as after prayer,
you know, before talks, maybe I'm doing, or before, you know, you have meetings or work,
or before sleeping.
And the Prophet of Allahi Allahi Heu's Salaam recited, you know, recommender reciting certain duas,
which is Ayatil Kursi, you know, ensuring that you're reciting a three schools, other things before bed,
ensuring that our last words are a form of remembrance of Allah.
So when it comes to this, I do want to mention this as well.
Keep your tongue wet with remembrance of all.
allah, but also set designated times.
Designated times as in, I know that after every prayer,
I am going to make vikr, which also reminds me of the vikr of Ayathe al-Khersi after
Salah, the obligatory Salah.
When you say Ayat al-Kirsi, the Hadith of the Prophet Salah al-A-u-Salam says that whoever
says Ayat al-a-Turacy after the obligatory prayers, there is nothing between Him and
and Allah, Suhpani-a-Tal, except for death.
So ensure that you're also saying your Ayat al-Kirsey, and I advise all of us, you know,
even though I know we finish.
praying, inshallah, not that long ago.
So, inshallah, if you haven't said it, I advise you, I advise you say it, inshallah
and from now on, remember that.
Remember that hadith.
I'm saying that for myself first as well.
But to set specific times to do it as well, right?
And this is why it comes to in the morning time after fudged.
If you know, I want to do it every morning and evening, set the times, but do it throughout
the whole day as well.
Don't just say I'm going to set the time of fudder in a magrub or isha, and then that's
that's it. But rather set times and know that these are the boundaries, these are the times,
and inshallah, we ask Allah to make it easy upon us.
Another thing I want to mention my brothers and sisters is using your fingers.
The best counters are your fingers, the best rewards are your fingers.
I give you this reminder now and I give myself this reminder.
And the reason why is because a lot of us use these thicker beads.
And it's great.
Ahandi al-a, great invention.
As long as you know, we're actually staying constant in our universe of Allah.
But the reason why I say use your fingers more is because on the day,
of resurrection. If you have done anything that was wrong, your fingers will testify against you.
And if you have done anything that was good, any form of vicar of remembrance of Allah, they will
testify for you. So my dear brothers and sisters, try your absolute hardest to use your fingers
as well. It's a very, very important part of your remembrance of Allah, Sufana, and the last
thing I want to mention of the tips for that is also to ensure that you are surrounding
yourself with a community that's going to help you and reflecting upon the meaning.
So when it comes to the meanings, take a moment or two or however long it is to reflect on the meanings of the phrases.
Don't just say, subarallah.
Al-a-ah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, al-a-Qa-a-a-a-a-a-a-oh-a-oh-oh-a.
And you continue saying it, right?
You see how fast I said it.
Did I really understand it?
No, because I'm studying super-dober fast.
Take time to actually understand it.
take time to actually implement into your lives and realize what it actually means and the names it means and the attributes of Allah, Sufana Heiata.
And it also helps, you know, enhances the impact of your remembrance of him and deepens your connection with Allah supranahua Tadah.
And what I mentioned finally was the impact of community and the impact of the company around you.
Ensure that you're engaging with a company or, you know, a community that's going to help engage that vicar in you.
Not when it's going to bring it away, right? You're trying to perform dicker and they're like, hey, man, let's go over and do this.
So let's go and do that.
The next thing you know, you haven't performed any vicar.
And these are the people who will lead us to stray, my dear brothers and sisters.
And we spoke about the biggest of losers in the beginning of the series, I believe it was episode two.
So, Shadallah, we ask Allah, Paramatara, to grant us great friends.
And for us to, you know, never have friends that are, that will take us to the hellfire.
And we ask Allah, pernata, to, vice versa, that we never take anyone to the hellfire and to never hold us accountable for that.
My dear brothers and sisters as well, I would like to mention as well that vicar is a very profound.
act of ibadah. It's a very profound act of remembering Allah. It protects the heart. It protects the tongue.
It softens the heart. And it protects the fingers as well as, you know, other other elements as well.
Madurururos and sisters, when you regularly engage in remembering Allah,
not just your i bada, not just your your sala. So I say because i bada is overall any act of
you're doing for the sake of Allah, but also remember that, you know, you want to incorporate
vicar into every part of your daily lives. And also do not forget that, you know, do not forget
that Allah says that I am the close companion of the one who remembers me, right? So I'm the
close companion of the one who remembers me. So remember Allah subna. There's also another I would like
to quote lastly, which Allah, so on a while says, in nannani, I am.
I'm Allah, la ilaha, elah, elah, I abudani, and I'm in the remembrance of Allah.
So just remember my dear brothers and sister to remember Allah, sufana, and we ask Allah,
to make the Quran, the life of our hearts, to make it the life, the light of, sorry,
the light for our lives and for the guidance for us.
And we ask Allah, saffa, and Allah to help us to remember him in all circumstances and to protect
our tongues and our hearts.
our fingers from anything that is displeasing to him and to protect mainly our hearts and our tongues from harmful speech.
And for that, we should displeases him.
We ask Allah, subramalata, to figure out for our sins, our shortcomings, to grant us special mercy and only this life, mainly in the next.
And also to purify our hearts to accept our tobba, accept our Ramadan from us.
And we're acharro, d'Awana, al-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-ha-a-a-a-ha-a-a-a-ha.
Shal, tomorrow, we'll be coming up for two to episode 28, if I'm not mistaken.
Episode 28, it's kind of crazy, isn't it?
Episode 28, we're almost pretty much
will be done with this whole series,
inshallah, Ta-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-to-for-all
for all of you to forgive me if I've made any mistakes,
for all of you to forgive me if I've made any mistakes,
and we ask Allah-Simahmata to grant us all a blessed night of ibad and worship.
Asana-a-a-a-a-a-raqmatelah,
and Godiqat two under brothers and sisters.
Thank you.
