Assalam and alaqmata ala and alaqmati ala, bismuilah,

and aishabi, a jamaeim.
My dear brothers and sisters, today I want to share some reflections on the profound concept of not allowing our past
to dictate our past and vice versa, not letting our future be overshadowed by our past.
In our journey through life, we all encounter challenges, mistakes, and moments of regret.
These experience, while part of our human condition, should not define who we are or limit our potential.
The Quran reminds us of Allah's mercy and forgiving, stating, say, O servants who have believed, fear your Lord.
For those who do good in this world is good.
and the earth of Allah is spacious.
Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account.
This is Sura 39, aya 10.
This verse emphasizes that no matter what we have done in the past,
we have the opportunity to seek forgiveness and strive for goodness in the present and future.
It's crucial to understand that our purpose,
past does not have to be a blueprint for our future. Many individuals may feel trapped by their
previous actions or circumstances believing that they are unworthy of a better life. However,
Islam teaches us that every day is a new opportunity. The Prophet Muhammad S. Allah Allah
Allah, Allah, Allah, said, every son of Adam sins. And the best of those who sin are those who repent.
This hadith encourages us to embrace remembrance and to move forward with hope and determination.
On the other hand, we must also be cautious not to let our aspirations for the future be clouded by the shadows of our past.
It is easy to become so focused on what has gone wrong that has lost sight of the potential that lies ahead.
The future is a blank canvas.
waiting for us to paint it with our intentions and actions.
Allah, Supperahua'u'a Allah has promised us
that if we strive for good, he will guide us.
And those who strive for us,
we will surely guide them to our ways.
This is SOT 29.
This verse serves as a reminder
that our efforts today can shape a brighter tomorrow.
In practical terms,
How can we ensure that our past does not dictate our future?
First, we must engage in self-reflection and acknowledge our past mistakes without letting them define us.
Second, we should set clear, positive goals for our future, grounded in our faith and values.
Surrounding ourselves with supportive and uplifting individuals can help
us stay focused on our journey forward.
So remember that our past is a part of our story,
but it does not have to be the final chapter.
We have the power by the sake of Allah,
to Allah, to shape our future through our actions today.
May Allah subhphanah huatala grants us the strength
to learn from our past, embrace the present,
and strive for a future filled with hope and purpose.
I mean,
I thank you for listening.
And I hear you,
and I'm adorned
al-h-h-lil-lilah,
and al-haw-lil-Ali-A-Lam-A-A-A-M.
And, alaqa, and al-aqmatel-Lahi-Beracatu.
