Bismillah, Rahman, andrahem, al-Hamdh,
Allaheim,
and al-a-a-salam, and
on the Rālihah,
and Aishabi,
and Aegee,
brothers and sisters,
al-h-h-a-l-Lah,
we are on episode 10 of our series.
We are moving across the month of Ramadan quickly
and moving across this series quickly,
we ask Allah, Sufana,
to preserve this Ramadan for us,
to allow for us,
to utilize the most of this Ramadan,
and to use it for the best,
to the best of our abilities,
and to use it,
to gain closeness to him.
My brothers and sisters, I would like to apologize, first off,
for the fact that I might have come out with the Juma talk a little later on earlier today,
because I said beautifully, it's a Friday today,
a hamdulityla, second Friday of, you know, the Mata Ramadan.
But I came out with that Juma talk a little late,
so I apologize for that, just in case any of you guys are wondering.
Now, one of the things I would like to mention about this Juma talk
was I spoke about how during the month of Ramadan at the time,
which our acts of, you know, Ibad and our good deeds are amplified and they are accepted by Allah and they're multiplied, right?
So trying to ensure that we are multiplying our good deeds as much as we can throughout the Matta Ramadan is very important.
My dear brothers and sisters, a fundamental question we have to ask ourselves is, have you ever experienced a moment when you desire something so intensely that no matter what anyone said or did or does, you remain so,
steadfast in your supplication. It's as if it's as if you're using, you know, a special
type of weapon that no one else knows how to defeat. But the brothers and sisters, I don't want
to get too deep off the track, but real quick, just to remind you of this, when I was doing
my series turning back to Allah, Sufandah ala, I remember I was writing it. And I remember for the
period of time until I was up working, you know, on it, writing it, I'm doing it. I remember
I was making so much dua like yeah,
Allah, please Allah for us to go well, you know, because
I can't, like, this is my first ever
short mini-Romadan series I want to do.
I don't want this to go bad.
I remember I was making so much dua,
and it felt like this is such a connection to
Allah, Suhanna-ho-ta-a-ta-da.
And when you make duaq consistently,
it becomes a habit, right?
And I'm not just saying you make dua
consistently every single day in the month of Ramadan,
but I'm saying when you make duaq consistently
every single day of your life.
The reasoning why Tahajad, and I'm just bringing this up,
but the reasoning why Tahajad has such a strong place in our hearts
is because it's a direct link between you and Allah, suhāna, He's not about the Surr's you recite.
I don't care if you recite all of Surta al-Au-Mran.
It's not about that.
It's not about the surer's you recite.
It's about the duas that you make.
It's about you building a connection with Allah.
You're talking to Allah, right?
The Hajid is the one prayer in which it's just you.
Kiyam al-Layal and Tahajid are the one prayers in which is just you and Allah
speaking a direct conversation.
And you have as much time as you want,
depending upon what time you wake up,
but if you have as much time as you want
to talk to Allah Sufana,
hootada. This is not a limited time base.
And this is exactly why, my dear brothers and sisters,
when it comes to doa,
don't just limit it to the Hajjit,
don't just limit to skiamul'laid,
don't just limit it to your far prayers.
And that's also something else
that we have to remember, my dear brothers and sisters,
is that making doa is not a ritual.
It's not something that we just do
and we say, all right, I'm just going to make doa today just to make it,
but rather it's actually an act of iBada,
and it is a manifestation of our imman and a means of seeking closeness to Allah,
Sufana, Hewetala, which is why the Prophet of Allah,
Allah, Allah, said an authentic hadith,
doaa is the essence of ibada, or dua is the essence of worship.
So this highlights the significance of dua and our spiritual journey to Allah,
and Allah, Hispana, His Allah, as it is through dua that we express our hopes,
our fears, our aspirations, acknowledging our dependence,
on Allah supanahua-ta-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a
and his guidance for guiding us to the things he's guided us to,
for saving us from the things he saved us from, and so on.
My brothers and sisters, when you're making a dua-a-it's not simply you just making a
doa-da and feeling as though Allah's not going to accept it.
But rather it's actually, like I said, a direct communication.
And I don't know if you realize I'm saying communication rather than it's a direct
just you talking to Allah.
Allah supranahua-ta-a-a-a-a-ha hears your dua and if you feel as though your dua
duas are not being accepted there are two main reasons I want to mention here.
The first reason is the most common reason and that is because of your sins.
sometimes sins bring us away from Allah
Supanahua'u-ta-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a, and they create a barrier
between us and Allah and Ibada,
which is why sometimes you might fast as much as you can
throughout the matah Ramadan, do as much as you can.
To the point you push your capacity to the point that on Day of Eid,
you can barely open your eyes.
You're excited, but you can barely open your eyes
because you've pushed yourself so much to worship Allah.
But on the day of Eid, you turn back to the same things you did.
And now you're wondering, how did I get like this?
Why am I turning back?
Why is this happening?
And it's the same with our prayers.
Have you ever felt a sweetness in your prayer before?
And if the answer is no, then it could be because of your sins.
It could be because you're bringing and you're creating a barrier between you and Allah, Sufana, Hei'u'a'u'a'a.
So you don't get a chance to taste the true sweetness of your dua.
You don't get a chance to taste this true sweetness of your vicar and your iba'a and your worship,
which is why one of the things, my dear brothers and sisters,
is if you truly want to taste the true relationship and the true love and compassion and mercy of Allah,
subhana ho a while in your lives and gain barraka you have to leave off that which brings you away from
which is associated also with dua and sometimes allah supani hua ta a whole ta'a
so that we can seek the forgiveness seek the repentance of allah suhpana huaata and he accepts it from us
which goes over to the second reason i want to mention which is holding our duas
allah suhpana hua taa holds our duas for a reason sometimes we make certain duas to
all Allah supanahua ta a
we say oh Allah
please grant me this thing or please
grant me that thing or please save me from this
or please save him from that
I don't allow for this scenario or this
situation to happen or whatever it might be
and it actually
could just be because
Allah supranahuata is
capable of all things
and he is al hakeen
he's all wise
Allah supranahua
Allah knows exactly what's going to happen
when it's going to happen and he
is the master of the day of judgment the master
of the world and time of
course as well. So looking back on it, my dear brothers and sisters, if you're making a
dua'aq continuously and feeling as though your dua is not being accepted, it might just be
because Allah, Allah, sa'u'u'u'u'u'u'a knows what's best for his servant. And he decides,
I'm going to keep this away from my servant at this very moment. Because Allah knows, if you
got that job, if you got that new promotion, if you got such and such a thing, if you got
this new house, if you were able to do such and such thing, whatever you wanted, then
we could, then no one would be grateful to Allah, Suhpanao'u'u'a'u'a'a and things would
shift, right? Our focus into our
duaa would shift. We would no longer
want to focus on our duas. We no longer
would need to have true sincerity or
al-Iqlash in our duas because we know that when we
make a dua, Allah's going to answer it immediately.
Which is why, my dear brothers and sisters,
any dua that you make,
Allah's not going to answer it just like
that unless he knows it's best for you.
Allah will answer it if he knows
if it's best for you.
So don't think that Allah
saupana, how it Allah just doesn't love me completely.
And honestly, it refers back to the first
you know, the first thing I mentioned
when it comes to your sins. Sometimes the sins
could be a barrier between you and Allah
Supanahua-a-a-a-a-da. And on our daily
lives, my dear brothers and sisters, we are constantly
surrounded with the demands of the dunya.
We seek to success in our careers,
our health, for our loved ones,
for ourselves, comfort and our homes.
These desires are natural, right?
It's the natural human inclination.
But Allah
Suhpana-ho-ta-a-ta-da created us.
Not for worldly gains.
Not to pursue worldly games.
but to strive to be in the eternal life, the aherah, right?
Allah, Supperah, did not create us so that we can live in this life comfortably,
but he created us so we can live in the next life comfortably.
And sometimes making dua only in certain situations shows your true state of imani,
your true state of faith and closer to Allah, suhpanao ta'a.
Which is why, my dear brothers and sisters,
sometimes you'll realize and recognize that my duas are not being accepted.
or maybe they are being accepted, but it's not the way you want them to be accepted.
You want a new career, you want such and such thing, you want to be able to have this type of family,
you want to be able to do all these big things.
Maybe Allah, Suu, Tallah, is saying, hey, I know best, you don't.
So my plan is better than your plan.
So I'm going to do something that I know is going to benefit you rather than what do you think is going to be good.
Which is why my dear brothers and sisters, we should not hesitate in our lives to ask Allah,
al-a-ho-ta-a-a-ta-la for anything but also do remember my dear brothers and sisters don't ask
allah sa-u-a-a-a-a-a-a-a just in strict periods of time oh i'm going through this hardship oh i lost this
family member oh this is going on that's when i'm going to make dua make dua
throughout your lives at every single moment and point of your lives because dua is a direct
line and connection to allah sa-a-u-a-a-a-a-and it's like you want something so bad that no
matter what you do that dua that you're making
Nothing can break it.
This right here, my dear brothers and sisters,
is a du'a that we all want.
We all want to make a du'a that we make a du'a
and it's so strong and it's something that is so,
we are so relentless in making that du'a.
But why do we prioritize our du'a for the dunya and not for the a'ha'a?
That's the question I have, my dear brothers and sisters.
And I ask myself first,
how come we ask for things of the dunya,
rather than asking for the things of the a'a?
My dear brothers and sisters,
if you truly want success in your life,
you have to ask for both.
I'm not saying you have to be overbalanced or underbalanced.
I'm saying it needs to be in between.
Because the Prophet of Allah, Allah, He taught us that moderation, right?
He didn't tell us pray too little prayer or pray too much prayer.
He told us pray in the middle.
Pray the amount that you know you can pray.
Of course, pray your fraud.
Don't leave that off.
Pray your fart.
If you want to pray in a waffle, you can.
And if you can't, then that's okay.
Or if you don't want to, that's okay.
It's no sin upon you.
But have balance.
Balancing your life.
Balancing your family.
Balancing your job.
balance in every single aspect of our lives,
which is why my dear brothers and sisters
when it comes to our duas have balance in it.
Don't just say I'm only going to make duai at this certain time
or I'm not going to do any other act of iBed that my du'a
is going to fill in for that act of iBed because now it's shifted too far
and now you're neglecting your actual fart prayers,
your obligatory prayers, the prayers you have to pray,
and now you're putting them off.
And that becomes a sin, my dear brothers and sisters.
So ensure my dear brothers and sisters, you are in the middle.
You have a line.
You know this is good and this is bad.
Okay, ensure that you are trying to harness the power of the dua,
not only to seek the worldly means,
but also to strengthen your connection with Allah, Sufana, Hewattah, and prepare for the Ahtra.
And ensure that you're setting a time aside just with Allah.
Even if it might be just before you go to bed, set time between it's just you and Allah.
Don't worry about distractions without people with, you know,
oh, I have to get this, this phone call coming up in five minutes.
Let me give Allah, Sufana, how it's out.
my attention, but not completely my full attention because I know, oh man, what is the phone
call comes in quicker?
I mean, is that my dua?
But your brothers and sisters, set time aside to worship Allah, supanah, how it's
an act of ibada.
Make dua frequently.
I reminding myself of this first.
Make doa frequently, not just in your prayers, but in every moment.
Make doa.
Thank Allah, supranah, ha, ta'u, be grateful for the fact that you have the opportunity to make
dua my brothers and sisters as we continue on throughout the next 20 days in shah allah
throughout the month of Ramadan we must harness the power of dua my dear brothers and sisters
pour your heart out to allah supanah huata'a and remember to include your spiritual aspirations
in your supplications whether that be yeah allah please save us from the punishment of the
hellfire yeah allah grant me jinnah which i ask allah suhpana huatala to do those things
for us to save us from the punishment of hellfire and grant us jinnna i mean my dear brothers and sisters
The power of dua is immense within our lives.
It is a direct line and connection and community means of communication with our creator.
It is a means to express our deepest desires and it is a tool for spiritual growth.
We have to strive to balance our doa for the dunya with our aspirations for the a'ahara,
ensuring that our hearts remain focused on what truly matters.
But the brothers and sisters, I pray that Allah,
sopana hua Tala accepts our duas from us, accepts our fast from us as we move on to another day,
inshallah ta a also ask
Allah supanahua to grant us the ability
to make a dua to him not in just
certain specific situations
but in all times and to build
a connection with him and to remove
the barrier that we may have due to our sins
I mean wakur of that one
al-hah al-hah al-hah al-hah al-a-a-a-hādha
for joining me again to my brothers and sisters
I pray that everyone
I pray Allah subma-sat-grents us
tofique and understanding but the brothers and sisters
inshallah watch the Juma Chitba if you have
not already and insh-h-h-h-h-h-h-hahah and
Inshallah Allah, I apologize again for coming out with us so late.
It was about Ossar time for us, I believe.
A little bit after usur, but I apologize again by your brothers and sisters.
I pray that everyone is doing well.
I ask God, Allah, Sufana.
It is to give us for our sins.
Our shortcomings against this, and Allah, and this life and maintaining the next.
And after we're Torah, al-a-á monsieur to Allah,
and al-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-
Thank you, God, some of your brothers and sisters.
