Sheikh Uthman Hadi - Eid Khutbah 2026 | Be light After Ramadan
Episode Date: March 20, 2026Assalamu alaikum, Eid Mubarak, may Allah accept all your acts of worship. Mashallah, I'm so happy that we were given the opportunity by Allah Almighty to fast throughout the month of Ramadan, engaging... in so many acts of worship. We pray that Allah accepts those acts of worship, and we pray that we exit the month of Ramadan in such a way that we are conscious of these deeds and we don't lose them. Because if you start doing the bad that you used to do prior to Ramadan, you're gonna lose the goodness of the month of Ramadan. May Allah keep us steadfast and grant us goodness. Eid Mubarak, have a lovely day. Remember in the obedience of Allah and enjoy yourselves.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/sheikh-uthman-hadi--6689369/support.https://sheikhuthmanhadi.beam.lyhttps://open.spotify.com/user/315hadqmwxllibu6ubi5us2cbn2y?si=572b4d8898284e9ehttps://open.spotify.com/show/3MQHfrpjj3XXcqoPbN5Dl8?si=v6YQ42kpSx-VONBFhT3CzA

Allah, Allah, Allah, and Allahehidu,
and Muhammad, abidu, and
Rasmu, Rasmuhaeim, and your brothers and sisters.
A'emu-Mubarak to you all, al-hambhallah.
First off, I want to start on a note here of thanks and gratitude to people as well.
The brother who ended up giving me this as an Eid gift today,
I would like to thank you, al-h-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a.
reward you and bless you. And everyone who ended up getting EGIFs today,
inshallah, I pray everyone has had a blessed morning already. And I see that a lot of us are
overly excited and overjoyed. And I do want to give us the reminder today that most of us,
and this is something that happens mostly every year, but most of us give this talk,
these talks about the Shiatine being released. But I want to put this in a different
perspective today. And today I want to specifically speak about how
We think about how the chains for the Shi'atine have been broken, and they come out now to find new beings, new souls, new people, new places, and new people in different states of Ibada.
For example, many of us, before the Shi'atine left, we were in completely different states.
And when the Shi'atine come back, they realize, okay, what is this?
They now have this stronger force field around them.
And what I want to speak about today is I want to give the reference of an angel.
It sounds interesting to say it to start off this way.
But when you look at it, if you actually look at an angel, I just want to give this idea.
Imagine an angel had a map, right?
And this angel was particularly commissioned to being the supervisor, let's say the supervisor of these gatherings, right, during the month of Ramadan.
And every single person who is worshipping Allah, whether that is in their own private houses,
or whether that is in the house of Allah
Sufana-ho-ta-a-a-a-a-a-la, these lights
luminate with light.
Right?
So these maps
luminate with light,
not the lights,
lumine with light, sorry.
But the maps
luminate with light.
This light is the remembrance of Allah
when we are remembering Allah,
when we are turning back to Allah,
when we are continuously trying to get better
and we're continuously seeking goodness
and especially, I want you to imagine
if you were one of those angels,
especially on the night of Flaid's of Qadar,
you know,
which we ask Allah
to grant us acceptance of that night and we ask Allah
suprana hua to grant us the ability to have been among those who saw Leia T'A t'u Kahn
and were participated in it and great that's the reward of Leit of Qaqa.
Now specifically I'm mentioning this because I want us to think of how we can be
after Ramadan right today's the day of Eid.
Many of us are excited, many of us are happy, many of us are still doing some of the
things hopefully inshallah we've been doing beforehand.
I am guessing that if you all have been coming
to dream of chitbas and then you know you come today and then you see like it's barely anyone
hearing you're like where everybody go which is why just to give you a reminder a quick note inshallah
today we'll probably try to be eight minutes just going to make that short let's make let's just say
eight or nine minutes inshallah I want to make it short today um so that inshallah we can go on about
our rest of our day but I want you to think about the people that pushed themselves right so hard
the people that pushed themselves throughout these last tonight maybe before Ramadan they
weren't worshiping Allah maybe before Ramadan they weren't actually obeying Allah
Maybe before Ramadan, they weren't doing things on the right way, right?
And we even think about maybe people who, you know, maybe came to Islam and they weren't, let's just say they weren't comfortable praying in public.
Or they weren't comfortable praying in public.
When I mean by public, I don't just mean out in the streets, but I mean actually in the massage, right?
It's considered public still.
Let's just say out in public.
Let's say they weren't comfortable with it.
And let's say that now in Ramadan, they're comfortable with actually being Muslim.
They're comfortable with actually saying, hey, an asa'an, right?
I'm fasting, right? And because, you know, if you meet her, you know, someone who is not a believer
and you told them, and I satin, right? First of all, they might not understand what that means in Arabic.
But if you just say, hey, I'm fasting, then it kind of puts into a perspective of,
why are you fasting, right? And this kind of comes in this angle. And I don't want to go too far and deep
into that. But I do want you all to look at this. Like I was mentioning earlier, if you imagine you
were an angel and you have this map of every single Muslim, every single person during the month of
Ramadan, and every time they remembered Allah, every time they performed tasbi and they were performed
Istafar and they performed remembrance of Allah where that is Dikr, whether that's the dua, where that's their
prayer, whatever it was, to put off the Dunya matters and they did it for the sake of Allah
and that if they far or whatever was that they repented for was accepted by Allah and it was
sincere, imagine every single time it lit up.
Imagine throughout the Atlamat of Ramadan, how many times do you think it lit up for you?
Right? And now that we are on the day of Eid, I ask us all the question, how many times is it going to continue to light up?
The question is how many times is they're going to continue to light up?
Because a lot of us get so excited that aid is here.
We get so excited that Shawal has begun.
We get so excited that we finish Ramadan.
But how many of us actually go and we say, you know what?
I wonder if I'm among those whom the light is going to,
continue to illuminate even throughout the year because many of us have done certain little things and
let's just say it was a map of your massages or your cities or your different places if these angels
looked at them on the day of reid how many good deeds have you done so far that you did throughout the
Ramadan and what did you do and this comes to some of the things i want to mention as well because
it's very interesting because i want you to look at the factor and this is a question i'm asking all of us
and the question to all of us is, including myself,
does the place or the person,
which would be you or the place or the massad or your homes,
go dark after Ramadan, right?
Does it just stop?
Does it stop illuminating?
And does it stop illuminating on this map of light?
So does it now become a place that's indistinguishable, right?
It's very beautiful because there's something I want to mention here as well,
that Allah supranahua-ta-ta-ta-said,
he says
that are there
are those who are believers and those who are
wicked and rebellious equal
right this is the question it's like no
they're not equal in the side of Allah
and in the hereafter
will we will we
treat you know the believers the same way
that we treat the transgressives right
and those who turn away from the message
of Allah sa'u'u'u'u'a and this obeyed Allah
absolutely not we won't
so when it comes here I want you to think of
how are you going to be
after Ramadan better than what you were today or better than what you were beforehand.
And like I said, it's also very interesting because the Prophet's Allah a lai
He wasleine narrated and he said that the example of the one who remembers Allah and the one who
does not remember Allah is like the living and the dead person.
So the person who remembers Allah is the living and the one who doesn't is like the dead person.
And what I want to give the example of is your light on this map.
This map is illuminating.
The living person is that light, right?
And then the dead person is when it goes dark.
It's when that light turns off.
You turn into a completely different person,
even though you can be around a group of believers,
you can still worship Allah, you can still remember Allah,
but that light goes dark.
And now the angels will question.
They'll ask, they'll say, yeah, Rab.
I don't understand who is this.
This is an indistinguishable person,
indistinguishable place.
So trying to remember as well,
that we've also been taught, it's something that's, you know, very interesting to mention as well,
is that we've also been taught, do not turn your homes into graveyards, places where you don't worship
Allah, places where you don't remember Allah.
If throughout the month of Ramadan, every single night you stayed up until one in the morning
worshipping Allah, what stops you now?
What's stopping you now?
Is it that little bit of entertainment that you're back to doing again?
Is it back to that thing that you're continuing on with?
Is it something that's disobeying Allah?
and remember that in these times, especially in this month of Sha'al as well,
it's still a time in which rewards are still amplified.
We think about the six days of Sha'a'a'a which you fast.
It doesn't have to be consecutive.
But if you fast in the six days of Sha'al and you fasted the month of Ramadan,
you gain more rewards.
If you continue to keep up your remembrance of Allah and you remember Allah,
you'll be like the living person.
But if your light cuts out on the day or Eid, up until, inshallah,
the next Ramadan, then you'll be like the dead person.
So I give us this reminder today because a lot of us have exited the Matve Ramadan.
And there are some around the world who still have the agreement or the idea that it will be tomorrow.
But if you think about it here, at this point in time, we now have to go back to remembering Allah
and continuing to remember Allah and trying to be people of light, even after the month of Ramadan has ended,
that we try to continue it throughout.
So my brothers and sisters,
we ask Allah,
to write us down for lay to calder
among those who worship on that night
up until dawn.
We ask Allah,
to allow for us to be distinguished
distinguishable in this world and in the next.
And we ask Allah sa'upenahu
to make us people that stand in the light of truth.
We ask Allah subhpanohoa'u'u'a as he has gathered us
in these masters throughout the month of Ramadan
to gather us on the day of judgment with him in a beautiful gathering on the day of Friday,
as is a beautiful day of Friday as well today.
And we ask Allah, Sufana, His Allah, to bless us all as we go throughout this day and continue
into Sha'al and the beautiful and blessed month of Sha'al.
And we ask Allah, Sufanao'u, to go as far our sins and our shortcomings, and grant us his
special mercy, not only in this life, remain me, and the next.
And the next of the a man, al-hambhalil Allah, Rabbelam.
and the brothers and sisters.
