Starting point is 00:00:08 In the name, to Allah, Allah, and allah, and all right of His and allahe and alhah
Starting point is 00:00:18 Allah, we havemulah and we'll and we'ller and we'll believe and we allah and we allu'u of our
Starting point is 00:00:26 and from the of our M'haw'u and who who'll dole to and who who'dl'h Allah,
Starting point is 00:00:35 Allah, Allah, onehah, and I should we in Muhammad and Abduh and Rasmu. Assalamu alaqmatelah and brakartum with your brothers and sisters. I pray that everyone is doing well and I ask Allah, Safanahua, To be yours for our sins of our shortcomings and gransi, but only in this life, mainly in the next.
Starting point is 00:00:53 My brothers and sisters, every single one of us will face difficulty in this life. And we've been reminded of this in the Quran. Some people are tested with sickness, some people are tested with sadness, some people are tested with poverty, Some people are tested with anxiety, some with family problems, some with loneliness, and some are carrying pain that nobody else can see. And Allah, Supperanahua'a clearly mentions this in the Quran in which he says,
Starting point is 00:01:18 and we will surely test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives, and fruit. But give glad tidings to the patient. Some of your brothers and sisters, notice how Allah subpanohuitaa did not say that if hardship comes, Allah will surely test you. But he says difficulty is part of life because even the prophets, peace be upon them all were tested. Prophet Ayur lost his health, family, and wealth. Yet he never abandoned Allah, Sufanao, Tala. Prophet of Yunus was betrayed by his own brothers, thrown into a well, imprisoned for years, yet he still remained patient.
Starting point is 00:01:52 Prophet Muhammad, Sallah, al-a-u-Slam, buried his own children, lost lives, faced persecution and hardship, yet he continued to trust Allah and continue to spread the message of Islam. So if you are struggling today, my brothers and sisters, remember, hardship does not mean that Allah, Sufana-a-a-a-a-a hate you, but sometimes hardship is a sign that Allah wants to raise your rank. And the Prophet, Sallah, Allah, the greater the trial, the greater the reward. And Allah, Sufāra, even mentions this in sort of Bakrana and what he said, indeed, Allah is with the patient. So imagine that one who controls the heavens and the earth is with you when you are patient.
Starting point is 00:02:32 But patience in Islam does not mean pretending the patient. pain does not exist. Patience means to you continue praying even when life hurts. You continue making dua'a even when the answer is delayed. You continue trusting Allah supranahua'a'a even when you do not, even when no one else understands that pain. Because real pain is shown in the first moment of difficulty. The real patience as well, my brothers and sisters. When hardship first hits, do we complain against Allah supranahua or do we say in a we do we say indeed we belong to allah supani and to him we will return but your brothers and sisters some of us want ease immediately but sometimes
Starting point is 00:03:12 allah sappano huaata delays it delays that ease because he wants us to return to him first sometimes the hardship that nearly broke us is the very thing that brought you back to your sada the thing that brought you to the Quran the thing that made you raise your hands in dua sincere dua back to allah sappana hua ta a again and allah mentions this in the the Quran in which he says indeed with hardship comes ease not after hardship but with hardship meaning that even in those darkest of moments Allah subhanna hua is sending blessings you cannot see maybe this difficulty that you are facing is something that is protecting you from something even worse that could be
Starting point is 00:03:51 happening my brothers and sisters ya ibao rahman we should be like those who are patient because even those before us were patient they had trials that were emits that we cannot even bear and we cannot imagine that we would be able to bear. Imagine someone losing a child, losing multiple of your own children, losing your own brothers who you just saw not that long ago. Imagine someone having to deal with trying to help this Ummma grow while still being under persecution and facing the hardship of persecution. My dear brothers and sisters, for all the prophets that came before us, for all of those
Starting point is 00:04:28 who came before us, it was not easy. but they had trust in Allah, Supanahua-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a. It was never going to be easy. And Allah-supon-ah-hu-tahua-a-a-mintens how this life is a test. This life is nothing but a test. And what does it do for us? It helps us to gain closeness to Allah-Supana-haw-ta-a-a-a-a-ha.
Starting point is 00:04:51 When we speak about sacrifice, we know that on the day when we give our korbani, what is one of the main things that we always say. What reaches Allah, Sufano, His Allah is not that animal. What reaches Allah, Sufanohu, His Allah is not that blood. What reaches Allah, Sufana Hu, His Allah is not the meat, but it is your taqua. It is your closeness to Allah, safana huaaa. It is your sincerity. It is your wanting to gain closeness to Allah, suhpanihu, ta'a.
Starting point is 00:05:14 And I've had questions before of, is the hardship that I'm facing a punishment from Allah? Any hardship that you're facing, if it brings you closer to Allah, it is a test, it is they're actually going to give you reward. But if it were to bring you further away from Allah Sufana-Hu-Atala, then is a punishment. And we ask Allah, Suhpana-Hu-Tala to grant us all the best of rewards and allow for all of our tests to be rewarded sincerely. My de brothers and sisters, the test that me and you are facing now
Starting point is 00:05:44 is nothing like the people of Uzza are facing. The people of Sudan, the people of Yemen, the people of Myanmar, the people around the world and our believers and our brothers and sisters alike. Because the test that they are facing are not simple. They're not losing a child and saying, I'm going about my day. They still are crying. They still have a sense of sadness
Starting point is 00:06:03 for that loss that they felt, but they have trust in Allah, and they bear that remembrance of Allah. Because the remembrance of Allah is what truly puts your heart at rest. What's the ayah? Allah, Sufanahuita-M mentions this in. He says,
Starting point is 00:06:17 barely in the remembrance of Allah through hearts find rest. When you remember Allah, then your heart feels at rest. When you remember Allah, when you connect back to Allah, even in those times of difficulty, your heart becomes back at rest.
Starting point is 00:06:28 My dear brothers and sisters, no matter how heavy this life becomes, continue praying, continue making dua, continue trusting Allah, because the believer knows that this dunya is temporary, this pain is temporary, this difficulty is temporary
Starting point is 00:06:41 because overall, like I said, this dunya is temporary, this life is temporary. Allah, Suhpano, Heiata, has made this life temporary, my dear brothers and sisters, and we are just passing by. We are not going to stay here forever.
Starting point is 00:06:51 And the test that we are facing right now, my dear brothers and sisters, Ya'iabadurrahman, will be gone sooner than later. And if you feel as though this test is not leaving, it could be an greater reward for that test. Because like the Prophet of Allah al-Ale-Wsalim said, that the greater the test, then the greater the reward.
Starting point is 00:07:09 If the reward is greater, my dear brothers and sisters, yeah, ibn al-rahman, then the reward will be greater. Then that test is going to be greater. So I give us all the reminder today that no matter what you are going through, no matter what pain it is, whether it's depression, whether it's sadness, whether it's anxiety, whether it's poverty, whatever it may be, whether it's loss of children, whether it's loss of wealth, whether it is health, whatever it may be.
Starting point is 00:07:33 Remember, connect back to Allah, Sufana, hua-ta-a-ta-a-ta-ta-al, turn back to Allah-supana-hu-ta-a-a-ta-a. Return to your maker, return to your creator, return to your sustainer, return to the provider. Because Allah, Sufahna, ha, ha, ha, is the only one that can heal your pain. He is the only one that can heal anything that you're going through. A lot of us look at the lives of people around us and say, oh, that person has a great life. All that person has a great life. I wish I could be like them. I wish I could be like them.
Starting point is 00:07:58 But who knows what their tests are, what their trials are. And sometimes, like I said, the hardships that people go through sometimes are unnoticed. You can't even realize it. Because you would think that the Prophet of Allah, Allah, Aaliyu'll be salem. If you were to meet him in that time, you would think that there was nothing wrong with him at all. You would think that he had no hardships at all, except for when he was in solitude with Allah, when he was in solitude with his creator. Because us now, when we were to look, if we were to look at the problem,
Starting point is 00:08:25 He was saying he was always smiling. He was always happy. He was always showing kindness. He was always giving. It never seemed as if his life was down. And this is what I mean by this, my dear brothers and sisters. Do not look at people's lives of social media,
Starting point is 00:08:39 of real life. You're looking at them and saying, oh, I wish I was like that person. I wish I was like this person. But look at the example of the Prophet of Allah Allah, Aalahu, al-a-a-h-h-a-ha-h-h-h-h and how he was during hardship. He still cried.
Starting point is 00:08:48 He still had sadness. He still went before Allah, and as he made a dua. He was not the most, He was not but the most perfect being, but he was also a perfect example for us, my brothers and sisters. So remember this before I end this talk, inshallah. Remember that the reward for patience can last forever. The reward for your patience and your perseverance will last forever, my brothers and sisters.
Starting point is 00:09:15 Because the reward for doing it for Allah, Allah, suhpana, for having patience in that time and that difficulty will last forever. If that reward, if that test that you're going through, if what you are going through and you return back to Allah, safana hua'u'a with sincerity is truly for Allah, then you, yeah, ibado, Rahman, will be rewarded with that forever. So I give you this reminder, and I ask Allah, Sufanao'u,
Starting point is 00:09:41 to make us among the patient. We ask Allah, Sufanao, to ease the hardship of every struggling Muslim. We ask Allah, Sufranhu, to replace our pain with peace, our sadness, with strength, and our difficulties with closeness to him. And we ask Allah, Sufanao Tala,
Starting point is 00:09:56 to alleviate any of our sins through these hardships and allow for our sins to be alleviated and for our reward to be granted to us multiplied in abundance, my brothers and sisters. Amin. And I'll hear of the a'a'anu. Al-Hawah, al-havir-a-l-lis-a-lis-a-lislehah. I'llhul-Muslimin,
