Bismillah and Rahman and Rahim.
Our praises due to Allah, the Lord of the world.
We send peace and blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad,
so Allah, a.
Allah, His family and his companions.
Dear brothers and sisters,
today I want to speak briefly
about something that gives our lives meaning
and that is having a purpose
for the sake of Allah.
Inshallah, we will break this down to four parts.
I pray to Allah to promise Allah
gives us all beraka for listening to this
and attending this,
and I pray that he makes us better Muslims
every single day throughout our lives up until the final day, until we meet him.
I mean, bismillah.
So the first part is, what is our purpose?
And Allah tells us clearly in the Quran, he says,
and I did not create the Jinn and mankind except to worship me.
And this is in Sura 51, Ayah 56.
This ayah, this verse, answers the question of why are we here?
Our purpose is to worship Allah, not just in prayer, but in everything we do, from how we speak to how we earn, live, and even treat others.
And this is something that we have to remember.
This ayah is a main reflection of what Allah is telling us here.
He says, and I did not create the gen and mankind except to worship me.
So he's saying the only purpose I created you for was to worship me.
and we bring this back to I commit sins and amen I do this I do that and we think about it as
Allah subpaed a lot of God God create us to worship him seeking repentance for our sins is a form of worship
so everything ties back to worship even the smallest of things
inshallah we will break that down in the next part which is living with intention
and the prophet of Allah Allah Allah Allah Allah Allah Allah Allah Allah Allah
taught us actions are judged by intentions and every person will have what they intended.
So this hadith shows us that even ordinary acts working, studying, eating, can become acts of worship if the intention is to please a law.
For example, going to work, we intend to provide halal income for our families, studying.
You intend to benefit the umma and gain knowledge that pleases Allah.
And even resting, you intend to refresh yourself so that you can serve a loss upon a hua'u't a better.
The third point here is staying focused on the A'ahira.
The Prophet of Allah al-Ale-u-Salam also said, be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler.
So not to necessitate or not to hold on to this world as if this is going to be your final destination.
When we know that our next life is our ultimate destination, which is staying focused on your Achira.
And this reminds us that this life, the life in Dunya is short and our real home is in the hereafter.
When you keep that in mind, your goals become clear.
You ask yourself, will this bring me closer to Allah?
will this help me on the day of judgment?
Is this pleasing to Allah?
And if yes, if the answer is yes, pursue it.
If no, let it go.
Do not follow it.
And the fourth and final point, inshallah that we will be talking about today,
is connecting to Allah daily.
Your purpose isn't just about long-term goals.
It's about daily connection with Allah.
The Prophet of Allah a.
a lehi wassallem said allah says i am as my servant thinks of me if he comes to me walking i go to him
running or i go to him with speed so make time for allah each and every single day pray with focus
make doa with sincerity read and read and reflect on the q'an with sincerity because the more you turn to
Allah, the clearer your purpose becomes.
So if we truly
realize
our main goal
is to live with intention,
is to aim for Jinnah,
is to be the best of believers that we can be,
is to worship Allah,
subhpano, Hewitz-a-a-a-a-l and be pleasing to him,
and is to do our best in this life.
So Allah, Suhpano-u-a-law will give us the best of rewards in the next life.
My brother and sisters,
a life with purpose is a life
aim at pleasing Allah and seeking his reward.
Ask yourself every day, is what I'm doing for the sake of Allah?
If the answer is yes, then you are living with purpose.
Let us make our intentions sincerely, and may Allah,
subhannahua to Allah accept every step we take for his sake.
I mean, O Allah, make all of our actions sincerely for your noble face
and grant us sincerity in our words.
Indeed, I mean.
Assalamu alaqa and of Allah and
