My
brothers and sisters,
today is
the beautiful
day of
Friday.
And, you know,
it's a very
important day
for us as
Muslims ensuring
that we are
working on
bettering our
relationship with
Allah,
sufana,
our whole
ta'a.
We are
remembering
Allah throughout
this day.
We are supposed
to
surat al-Qaaf for X amount of reasons and you know inshallah soon enough I'll get into that but
the thing my brothers and sisters I want to talk about today is reconnecting with Allah
supaniahuahua-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-and-and-all and understanding the profound impact that
remembering Allah sullsafana-ho-ta-a-ha has on our hearts and our souls you know
Allah supran-hu-ta-a-a-i emphasizes the significance of remembering him in various verses but
particularly in one of them Allah-supana-a-ha-ta-a says
remember me, I thkour com,
and I'm sureuny,
and I remember you, right?
So in this divine and beautiful
Ayah, Allah subhpano
His Allah highlights
that the relationship
between him and his servant
is very important.
You know, when we engage in dicker,
we draw closer to Allah subhapha
His Almighty, and in return, he bestows his
mercy upon us.
You know, the Prophet
The Prophet of Allahe-a-u-salam also emphasized the importance of Dhikr in his teachings in a hadith narrated about Mu'a'adra, the Prophet of Allah-Sahlam advised him to recite after every prayer,
Allah, Ina, n'i-dikrika, and shukrika and chusni i badaek.
Oh, Allah, help me remember you to be grateful to you and to worship you, you in an excellent manner.
So this dua encapsulates the essence of our relationship that we have with Allah supanahua-Tala,
seeking his help in remembering him and expressing gratitude.
And the Prophet of Allah-a-a-u-a-u-sand also taught us to keep our tongues moist with the remembrance of Allah-Saphani-a-a-a-a-a-a- And speaking of that,
it is narrated in an authentic hadith by Abdullah ibn Basr, Radiol-An-Hu,
who reported that the Prophet of Allah a lao al-a-u-sallem said,
keep your tongue wet with the remembrance of Allah.
So in this simple yet profound hadith,
the Prophetu-a-a-u-sand-hives us beautiful and profound advice,
as he encourages us to make vicar,
as it should be a part of our daily lives,
whether we are at work, home, or we are in solitude.
Moreover, Abu Herrera, rari, andhu narrated that the Prophet
ulah a.m. said,
he who recites after every prayer
subhannalah
33 times
al-hah
33 times
Allahu-Aqbar
33 times
and completes the full
100
right because if you
do the math on it
33 plus 33
plus 33
gives you 99
so you add
the extra
la idaha
Allah Allah
one
shrikela
for l'amu
al-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-hous-a-hally
thing in
couldir.
We'll have
all of his sins pardoned, even if they may be as large as the foam on the surface of the sea.
So this beautiful hadith illustrates the immense mercy of Allah,
subhannahu, it says in the Quran, he says,
kulia i badae al-hle-is-rafu al-anfusi him,
la takanathehah, he says, do not despair in the mercy in hope of Allah, right?
Always hope in the mercy of Allah.
Allah, subhanna-a-ta-ta-la is the most merciful and the most
compassionate to his servants.
And we've been explained in this beautiful
Hadith, exactly that.
That even if
your sins are
like the foam of the ocean
or the foam of the sea,
Allah, Suhpano and Hei-ta-a-ta-la will still forgive it.
So,
you know, Allah-Suphano-to-a-ta-la is
telling us here, or is
given to the Prophet of Allah-a-a-u-a-u-slam
here that the
rewards associated with the
vicar and the mercy of Allah
saffano and
Hisp.anao'u'a'a in forgiving
our sins is immense.
When it comes to practicing vicar,
it is not limited to specific times.
However, the Prophet of Allah
a lai-u-s-Lam encouraged us to engage
in it during the morning and the
evening. Abou-Bakar, may Allah
Safan-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a
for the words to recite in the morning
in the evening, and the Prophet's-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a
taught him a beautiful supplication
in which he said,
begin, which it begins with O'u'llah,
creator of the heavens and the earth,
knower of the hidden and the exposed.
So this beautiful dua
serves as a reminder
that in times of ease
and in times of hardship,
Allah, Supanahua Tala, is there.
He is the knower of the hidden and the exposed.
He knows the things that are hidden
that we do in our private sanctum or our quarters.
And he also knows what we do in public.
You cannot hide from Allah, suhphanahua-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a.
And when it comes to the remembrance of Allah,
engaging in Dhikr has various benefits to it.
And in one of those things is it brings tranquility to the heart
as Allah-Safana-Hu-Talās states in the Quran.
He says, verily in the remembrance of Allah, do hearts find rest?
Allah-Sah-Nah-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-speaking here.
He's speaking directly to everyone as believers.
He is saying that very,
that verily if you remember me,
your heart will become content with my worship.
It will become content with my decree.
It will become content, period.
So Allah, Sufanao'u'u'a is saying here verily,
in the remembrance of me, will your heart find rest?
My dear brothers and sisters,
thicker strengthens our faith,
and it helps us develop a deeper connection with Allah,
subhaphano'u, Allah.
We must ensure that no matter what happens,
we are reflecting on our actions,
We are seeking forgiveness.
We are cultivating gratitude for the countless blessings we received.
As we remember Allah, Supanahua Tala, we become more aware of his presence in our lives,
leading to a more fulfilling and purposeful existence.
My dear brothers and sisters, remembering Allah is key.
Being grateful for the blessings that Allah supanahua Tala has bestowed upon us is even bigger.
My dear brothers and sisters, we have things that happen in our lives
and we look at the things that are happening around the globe,
not just in one part of the world, but around the globe.
We ask Allah to grant ease to all of the people suffering, I mean.
But we look around and we see that they have a sense of contentment.
Where does it come from?
It comes from the vicar and the remembrance of Allah,
Sophano, His Allah, engaging in it at every moment they can.
There is an ayah in the Quran in which Allah,
and Allah, Siphan, or He speaks about those who love the Quran.
And what does he say here?
He specifically says that those who follow my book, they truly love this book.
When the words of the Quran are recited, they fall upon their faces in prostration.
And that only comes from the remembrance of him.
And in the hadith I quoted in which the Prophet of Allah a.
A.u.m. told us to keep our tongues wet with the remembrance of Allah.
He is saying that do not let a moment pass.
Do not let a moment pass, but that you are remembering Allah, that you are.
are gaining closest to Allah that you are strengthening your relationship.
Ramadan is not just a time for strengthening our relationship.
It's a time for bettering ourselves and bettering our relationship with Allah, increasing
and more vicar.
But outside of the month of Ramadan is important as well.
Because we cannot engage and strengthen our connection with Allah throughout the month of Ramadan,
and then it becomes weak again.
And there is an authentic hadith in which the Prophet of Allah, Allah, a Allah,
He was Salaam said that there is only one thing between Allah and a servant, and that's his sins.
And what does that come from?
That comes from lack of remembering Allah, subhanna-ho-tahla.
When you sin, you are, you're not in the presence of Allah.
You're not remembering Allah.
It's difficult to sin if you're remembering Allah.
If you're remembering that, if I do this act, Allah's going to be displeased with me.
If you're in the remembrance of Allah, it's difficult for you to do that.
But if you are not, then it will be.
easy, which is why we've been taught to keep our tongues wet with the remembrance of Allah,
suhanna, hu, ta'a.
My dear brothers and sisters, ensure that you are creating a routine in which you realize
that your Dhikr is important, because we have to perform Dhikr, right?
Yes, there are times in which we feel as though, you know, we want to perform more
Dhikr, that's great.
Hamdul-Dhah, may Allah always keep it like that for us, I mean.
But ensure that you also have a routine of doing Dhikr.
Don't just do d'ikr after fudr and after isha and say, all right, that's it.
Do d'hikr at every moment you have because Allah,
subhpana'u'u'u'u'a gave you another opportunity to see today.
He might not give you opportunity to see tomorrow,
but he gave you opportunity to see today.
Engage in more d'qid, even though we think sometimes
we have to make the longest supplications and the longest duas
to get the heaviest rewards on the scales,
but saying something as simple as,
subhanna is already heavy enough on the scale.
And if you continuously repeat it, if you continuously seek that forgiveness of Allah, then it will become even better.
My dear brothers and sisters, remembering Allah, Sufana, how it's a very powerful tool in our lives.
It helps us in every situation that we could possibly be in.
And Allah, subhanna hua Tala is telling us that if you remember me, I will remember you.
So my dear brothers and sisters, ensure you are engaging in Dikr, ensure that you are,
finding comfort in times of distress and you are in you are cultivating gratitude in
allah supanahua ta a by your brothers and sisters there is one last thing i would like to mention
here and that is the fact that inshallah we have about to believe two weeks inshallah until
reinvent yourself this Ramadan so inshallah be prepared uh inshallah book book your uh your ticket
it's free by the way book your ticket though for the event inshallah as it takes place online
but it takes place, inshallah, after Salat al-Azer.
And, inshallah, I cannot wait until that event.
Insha'u'a-ta-a-a-a-la, we ask Allah to allow for us to transform ourselves this Ramadan
to better ourselves for the better and to not only better ourselves this Ramadan, but beyond it.
For the next year, inshallah, to come up for the year, for the rest of the year to go on.
We ask Allah, suhanna-ho, Tala, to grant us the opportunity to see the beautiful and blessed mathehara to better ourselves.
I mean.
But your brothers and sisters, ensure that you are remembering Allah, supan,
and His Allah, is it can change our lives.
It brings us closer to our creator, and it provides comfort in times of distress,
and it helps us cultivate gratitude and mindfulness.
But your brothers and sisters, we must strive to keep our tongues moist with the remembrance of Allah,
suhpaniahu,tta a.
As the Prophet of Allah, Allah, a He waslam, advised, and make vicar as a very,
very, very important and daily aspect of your lives.
We ask Allah, Sufana, and Heiataa to guide us all to remember him sincerely and frequently.
We ask Allah, Sufana, Her Goda, to give us for our sins, our shortcomings,
and grants us the strength to worship him in the best of manners.
Amin, and a al-hahuelah, al-hemdulillah, Rabbul-Alam.
Bismillah, Rahman, Rahim.
