Before you say Allahubr, pause.
Do you know who you're truly standing before,
the one who created your heart,
and knows every hidden pain inside it,
yet we rush.
We stand in sala,
but our minds are everywhere else.
What if just one prayer?
You truly realized,
Allah is looking at you right now,
not judging, not turning away,
but listening.
watching, waiting for you to turn back with sincerity.
This isn't just prayer.
This is a meeting with your rub.
So slow down,
because the moment you realize who you're standing before,
your sala will never be the same again.
Before you say Allahaqabur,
pause.
Take a moment to reflect on who you are standing before.
You're about to stand before the one who created your heart,
the one who made your heart,
knows every hidden pain inside it, the one who understands your struggles, your hopes, and your fears.
This is not just a perpetual act, it's a sacred meeting with your rub. Yet how often do we rush
through our sala? We stand in prayer, we stand in our sala, but our minds are everywhere else,
thinking about our day, our worry, our plans, our jobs. We may recite the words, but do we truly
feel their meaning? What if just for one prayer we truly realize that Allah is looking at us
right now? He's not judging us or turning away, but he's listening, watching, and waiting
for us to return back to him with sincerity. That realization we can, that realization we have
can transform our prayer from a mere obligation into a profound experience of connection
and devotion back to Allah Sufranu Tala.
The Prophet of Allah Allaha
taught us the essence of
Ibada as to worship Allah Sufanao
as though we can see him.
And while they don't see him,
he truly sees us.
This is the essence of Ihsan,
the beautiful action of
Ibadah. When we stand for
Salah, we're not just performing
a series of physical movements.
We're engaging in a dialogue with our
creator. Each and every single
a year we recite, each mo
each movement that we make is an opportunity to connect back with Allah.
And Allah reminds us of this in the Quran in which he says,
and he has not laid upon you in that religion, any hardship.
So Allah desires ease for us.
And Salah is a means to find tranquility and peace in our lives.
Now to deepen your awareness of Allah during your Salah,
there are some main things that you can do.
And of the first to do is to set a clear intention before start.
starting your Salat.
Make a sincere intention in your heart.
Remind yourself that you're praying for Allah alone,
seeking his pleasure and his mercy,
which the Prophet of Allah, Allah,
A'u'll Salaam said that actions are judged by intention.
So that means that the sincerity of your intention
can elevate your sala and transform it
into a meaningful act of iBada.
Now secondly, I also want you to focus on the meaning.
As you recite those ayas of the Quran,
take time to reflect on the Quran,
their meanings. The Prophet of Allah alexand
often spent several hours contemplating on a single verse.
So this can actually help you connect emotionally and spiritually
and even physically with your sara.
For instance, when you're reciting Sultal Fata'a,
consider the significance of each and every ayah
when you say,
I'dina the sirat al-Mustakene. Guide us to the straight path.
Reflect on your desire for guidance in your life
and in the hereafter.
And that brings us to the next point of eliminating distractions.
So before you begin your sara, try to deal with any pressing matters that may distract you.
And if you are hungry, eat first.
If you need to relieve yourself, do so.
Try to focus entirely on that sara, which is why the Prophet Salah ari-a-a-hli-a-hu-sallu-a-hu-slevised us to pray in a clean and quiet place,
free from distractions, to enhance our concentration.
of one of the most important things I want to mention
is trying to reflect upon your life.
Consider the last day when people will be divided into two groups,
those destined for paradise and those destined for the hellfire.
Ask yourself where you would like to be placed.
When you do so, it helps instill a sense of urgency and sincerity in your sala.
And Allah speaks about this in the Quran, in which he says,
And the day, the hour appears, the disbelievers will be in despair.
So that awareness of the hereafter can motivate you to actually approach your sala with seriousness and dedication.
Another thing I want to mention is to seek refuge from those distractions.
If your mind wonders during prayer, seek refuge in Allah and bring your focus back to him.
Remember that even the Prophet of Allah a.
Allah a lahi wasleam advised us to perform two frustrations of forgetfulness if we lost track during that sala.
So when you acknowledge our human nature, it helps you remain humble and focused throughout your
sara. Also ensure you engage in vicar outside of your sara. That practice of remembering
Allah helps you cultivate a mindset of awareness and connection to Allah throughout the day.
The prophet sallah a a laiou salem said the example of the one who
remembers His Lord and the one who does it is like the living and the dead person.
So when you remember Allah regularly, you enhance your consciousness of Him,
you enhance your consciousness of Allah, suhpaniahu, Tala during your Salah.
And finally, as well, praying with humility.
Approach your Salah with humility and submission.
Remember that you are a servant of Allah and He is your Rabb,
which Allah states and your Lord said,
call upon me, I will respond to you.
So we should not pray with sincerity.
So we should pray with sincerity and humility,
knowing that he is always ready to respond to our supplication.
As well as seeking forgiveness,
before you begin your Sada,
take any moment to seek forgiveness for your shortcomings,
as well as during your sada.
Acknowledge those sins and those shortcomings,
that you have committed before Allah, as this can help you approach your sada with a clean
heart. And the Prophet of Allah a. He was Sallam taught us that Allah loves those who repent
and purify themselves. So this act of seeking forgiveness can enhance your humility and sincerity
during your sada. And finally, reflect upon the blessings that you have. So as you pray
and as you worship Allah, take a moment to reflect on the countless blessings that Allah has bestowed
upon you. As gratitude can actually transform your sala and the experience of your
sara, making it more heartfelt and sincere. And Allah reminds us of this in the Quran. He says,
And remember when your Lord said, if you give thanks by accepting faith, I will give you more
of my blessing. But if you deny my blessings, indeed my punishment is severe. So recognizing
Allah supranahua ta'a's blessings can help deepen your connection with him during your
sada. When you strive to build this awareness of Allah suhpana hua'u ta'a during
sola, you will find that your sala has become more meaningful, and you will feel a sense of
peace and tranquility that transcends the chaos of our daily lives.
Salah should no longer feel like a chore. It should become a cherished opportunity to
reconnect with our Creator.
Moreover, the impact of this awareness extends beyond our Salah.
When we cultivate a sense of mindfulness and connection with Allah during that Salah,
it can influence our behaviors and our interactions with others and with Allah throughout the day.
And we may find ourselves more patient, more compassionate, and aware of our actions
as we carry that consciousness of Allah with us in our daily lives.
Now when we are standing before Allah, the most most moment.
merciful, the most compassionate, the most forgiving. We remember he is always ready to listen
and to respond to our sara and to our duas. When we truly realize who we are standing before,
our sala will never feel the same again.
