Love isn't forced, it's built.
Love isn't forced, it's built.
So if you don't love sala yet, that's okay.
Start small.
One focused psalah, one sincere sujude,
one moment of presence with Allah, and protected.
Because love grows with consistency.
The more you show up, the more your heart softens.
Until one day, you don't pray because you have to.
You pray because you need to.
Love is not something that can be forced.
It's something that has to be built over time.
If you find yourself struggling to connect with Allah,
or to connect with your salaa, know that you're not perfect.
It's perfectly okay to feel this way.
And the key is to actually start small,
to be consistent, and to approach sala with an open heart and a mind.
Instead of viewing sala as a duty that you must fulfill.
bill, try to see it as an opportunity to connect back with Allah saffani a hua'u.
Because that shift in perspective can make a significant difference in how you actually
approach your sala.
Remember, Allah, savioura'u.
And I did not create jinn and mankind except to worship me.
So that worship is not meant to be a burden, but rather it's actually meant to be a means
of drawing closer to Allah, Sufana, or how it ta'al.
And in order to cultivate that love for a salaa, you have to start by incorporating.
small habits into your daily routine.
So trying to focus on your sala.
So instead of overwhelming yourself with the idea of praying all five prayers,
perfectly, focus on just one prayer at a time.
Choose a prayer where you can give all of your attention to,
even if it's small,
and make it a point to be present during that sala,
to reflect on the meaning of the words you're reciting.
That focusedness helps you to approach your sara better,
and it can help build a deeper connection.
with Allah supranahua jada.
That act of prostration, which we spoke about before,
is a moment of humility and closeness to Allah saffaniahua.
So during your sala, take a moment to actually truly immerse yourself in that sajda.
Pour your hearts out to Allah, express your gratitude, seek his guidance,
because that sincere moment can be a transformative moment for you,
and it can help you feel the love that comes with your creator.
The love that comes from your creator.
In our lives, it can actually be challenging to be fully present in our Salat.
However, making a conscious effort to focus on our Salah can help you to actually develop a deeper appreciation for it before you begin your Salah, taking a few deep breaths, clearing your mind, reminding yourself of the significant of this moment, because practicing these things helps you to cultivate a sense of presence and mindfulness in your Salah.
As you begin to implement these small habits, it's actually,
very essential to protect them just as a seed needs care and nurturing to grow so does
your love for sara be mindful of distractions that may pull you away from your sada and turn back to
allah ensure you're also creating an environment that fosters your connection with allah as that
could help this could mean finding a quiet space to pray turning off your phone or setting aside
specific times turning off your phone because love grows was consistent
So the more you show up for prayer, the more your heart will soften.
And over time, you'll find that prayer becomes less of a chore and more of a cherished part of your day.
And more of a cherished part of your day.
You may even reach a point where you no longer pray because you have to, but because you need to.
So that transformative, that transformation is a beautiful treatment.
It's a beautiful testament to the power of consistency and intention with sincerity.
And remember, falling in love with Salah is a journey and a journey, not a destination.
It's okay to have ups and downs along the way.
What matters most is your commitment, is keep trying, to keep showing up, to keep nurturing that relationship with Allah,
to have the right intention and to be sincere.
The Prophet of Allah a.
The Prophet Salah a.m. said, the most beloved deeds to Allah are those done consistently, even if they are small.
We should strive to actually build our love for Salah, and we should try our absolute
hardest to also become patient with ourselves if we don't love Salah just yet.
Celebrate those small victories and recognize that every single effort counts.
Each Salah, each sujuid, and each moment of presence brings you closer to Allah,
and deepens your love for him.
