Sheikh Uthman Hadi - Seek Ilm (Knowledge) for the sake of Allah

Salaamu alaqmaheu, my dear brothers and sisters. Today I want to remind us of the immense importance of seeking ill, or knowledge in our lives as Muslims. Knowledge is the pursuit, is a noble pursuit that brings us closer to Allah, and helps us fulfill our purpose in this world. You know, the Prophet of Allah, Allah, Aal He waslam, emphasized the significance of knowledge in numerous hadiths. In one of them, he said, seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim. So this obligation highlights that knowledge is essential for understanding our faith, performing our acts of worship correctly, and navigating the challenges of life.

As Allah, Sufana He also commands this in the Quran, he says, and say, my Lord, increase me in knowledge. This is Sera 20, Ayah 114. The verse reflects the importance of continuously seeking knowledge and striving for personal growth. Knowledge is a light that guides us throughout the darkness of ignorance, enabling us to make informed decisions and live a life that pleases Allah, Sufana, and Hu, Tala. As believers and as Muslims, as worshippers of Allah, Sufana, and His humble servants, it is crucial to seek knowledge for the sake of Allah. not for a world we gain or recognition. When we pursue knowledge with sincerity and intention to please Allah, we align ourselves with his purpose.

The Prophet of Allah a Allah ari-a-a-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-a-u-sle-salam also said, whoever treads a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make ease for him a path to paradise. So this hadith reminds us that the pursuit of knowledge is a means to attain Allah's pleasure and ultimately paradise. Additionally, knowledge empowers us. us to fulfill our responsibilities towards ourselves, our families, and even our communities. It equips us with the tools to promote justice, compassion, and understanding in our interactions with others. So by seeking knowledge, we become better Muslims and contribute positively to our society or our communities. So, my dear brothers and sisters, let us make a sincere intention to seek

knowledge for the sake of Allah, whether it is through reading, attending lectures, or engaging in halakas or discussions about Allah suhanna and Allah, every effort that we put into seeking ilm counts. So remember the words of the Prophet of Allah, Allah, the best among you are those who learn the Quran and teach it. May Allah grant us the desire, may Allah grant us the desire and the ability to seek knowledge, increase us in understanding, and make us among those who act upon what they learn.
