Bismillah, Rihman, and alhaheim, alhemi,
and al-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-aa-a-a a
a-aaaaaa a-aaaa a-aaaaa and a-aaa
my brothers and sisters, I pray that everyone is doing well,
and I ask Allah, Sapaan-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-aa
and I ask our efforts from us in these last beautiful ten nights
to accept our fast from us to forgive us if we have made any mistakes, my brothers and sisters,
and if we have slipped away.
One of the things in which I would like to speak about tonight is Dikr.
It is the remembrance of Allah.
Specifically in these last tonights,
one of the most beloved things that you can do
is perform Dikr, is perform remembrance of Allah,
which is why a beautiful Quranic verse should stand out to us that I want to mention,
which is verily in the remembrance of Allah,
do hearts find rest.
If you want to find peace and contentment in your life,
you have to remember Allah.
The only remembrance of Allah, Sufana Hei,
the only way you're going to have peace in your heart and peace in your life and
tranquility in your life is if you remember Allah which is why the example here that I
want to give when it comes to our vicar is as is a fundamental aspect of our faith it also
means of drawn closer to Allah suhāhāhā this is why in the Hadith the Prophet
Allah al-a-u-salim emphasized the importance of remembering Allah when he said in
one had these because he mentioned in a lot of these but in one had
he specifically said the example of the one who remembers his Lord and the one who does
not is like that of the living and the dead. So when you remember Allah, your life is more flourishing.
You are closer to Allah and it has a profound impact upon your life and your spiritual state,
your physical state, your mental state, all of that. And when you don't remember Allah,
the same applies. It has a means of your physical state and your spiritual state and your mental
state. And it also is a means of it feels as though you're empty, right? You have this feeling of
emptiness. And sometimes we try to find that fulfillment through other things, but the best means of
fulfillment is through our vicar, which is why during these last 10 nights, we should strive to
maximize our abada during the last 10 nights, especially, which is why, you know, we talked about
it last night, not too much of it last night, but we spoke about Ibada. And just in case you
didn't get the full eclipse of that part, or you didn't get the full summary of what I was trying to
say was that when it comes to your Ibada, don't just worship on specific nights in your time.
because for us we are into you know today is the 20th day for us and the 21st night for others it is already you know going to be the 22nd night and then inshallah it will continue moving on but like i was saying originally as well there cannot be two ramadans so don't put it on yourself that you're just going to only worship on your timing and where you are worship every single night because any night could be laid in al-qadr and as well as i would also like to mention when it comes to your i bada is the forgiveness and the means blessings that come from it
And when it comes to this specific night, which is the night of Qadr, which is the night of power, the night of decree,
one of the things you want to ask Allah is to allow for your decree to be good.
And only that which is good and that which pleases him and allow for you to remain upon the path of vicar of remembering him.
Which is why the Prophetz Allah a.u a.u.
advised us to seek this night on the odd and the even number nights, right?
Mainly the odd.
but if you look at the reasoning why like I mentioned yesterday the odd and the evening
is because you don't know what date could be correct whether or not we're supposed to start
on the 18th of February or we're supposed to start on the 19th either way like I said
it can't be two Ramadan's but there can be only one ladle of color because of that
the case it would be two layers of colors and there can be so when we look at it my dear brothers
and sisters if you actually look at it there is the authentic hadith as well you know
specifically, Allah's
mercy descends down.
The authentic hadith was that
Allah subpanihu Tala
descends and he
calls out to his servants asking
who is calling upon me so that I may answer him,
who is asking from me so that I may give him
and who is seeking forgiveness from me
so that I may forgive him.
So as we enter into these
continuation of the last 10 nights,
we are at the second of the last 10.
And surely you're engaging in vicar
and you're also remembering
that Allah suprana hua ta is present and an ayah that i mentioned a lot as well is when
Allah suhpanihu ta'u ta'a says and so he says sort of 40 ayah 60 he says and your lord
said invoke me I will respond to your invocation and another ayahs Allah supranahua
which says that your lord is near right so in these last ten nights do not forget that
Allah suhpana huwata is near and we should be remembering him as well throughout these last
nights and it's beautiful I want to keep this short like I did yesterday but one of the
things when it comes to vicar is that there are many forms
of it and especially during the last the last night. This is exactly why the I, you know, Aisha,
radioa, asked the Prophet of Allah, Allah, what she should say if she knew it was later to
and he instructed her the dua that we spoke about in our series, right?
Allahum, mani, ka'a fu'an to hebba, fa'a fa'an me, which translates to, oh, Allah,
indeed, you are the most forgiving, you love to forgive, so please forgive me.
So one of the things in these last ten nights we should focus on is seeking the forgiveness of Allah,
but also encapsulating the essence of our iBada and our vicar.
Yes, one of the most beautiful things you can do is increasing your solace.
But like we've spoken about as well, quality.
I'm not saying you don't have to pray as many rakas as you want.
You can pray however many you want, but ensure that your ibada is good, right?
You're not just praying for the rakaz and you're just reciting the same surah over and over again.
You're not making any dua.
If it's raining that night, if it's, you know, any of these things, you're not
making dua, you're not asking Allah supranah for forgiveness, you're not seeking for you.
All you're doing is you're just praying for a number.
You're praying to hit a number.
There's something else I was asked a question about.
And like I said, we only have about a minute left.
But the question was, are you allowed to use, you know, like the little finger.
I forgot what it's called, actually, but the little finger ticker device?
I think it's for dicker, I'm mistaken.
And the answer is yes.
It is a sunnah of the Prophet of Allah al-a-u-a-u-salam to actually use your fingers.
It is better for you.
but if you're using it for counting purposes, like, oh, I want to, you know, do a hundred
subana laws and I have problems losing count, then that's fine.
But one thing I will advise you my brother and sisters, and during these last time,
that's especially if you've been using it, just so you can hit a special number throughout
the day, I'm going to hit 10,000 today, and then, Hamzillah, only try to hit the numbers.
Okay, I know I have problems keeping count of that.
Siphanal laws, however many subalas I do.
Okay, Hamzalilah, that's good.
But don't use it overall for your whole vicar experience, because at that point, yes,
it will testify for you on the day of resurrection.
You would rather your fingers and your hands speak forth for you for good that you did rather than that.
But also, do not forget my dear brothers and sisters of when you're doing this.
Sometimes the quantity comes over the quality.
If you're saying, Astafed Allah, you're just like, I want to hit one million and stuff for Allah.
And that's, you know, not all these dick of these dick of devices is not really possible.
But if you said, I would hit a thousand, a thousand of, you know, these estafah Allah's.
And now you're just like, stuff for Allah.
You're not even really saying the word, right?
It went from Asthaf al-Stath-Hallah, stuff for Allah.
and you're not really saying it completely.
So ensure as well
that you're not trying to hit a number
or rather you're trying to hit the best quality
of that number you can possibly hit.
So even if it might only be,
you said 100 estafal Allah,
ensure it has sincerity and true intention behind it.
Make sure you're making dua,
ensure that you are reciting the Quran,
which like I said before,
do not go with the quantity method,
go with the quality,
understand the verses,
deepening your meaning with the verses.
So, you know,
try your absolute hardest
to remember the significance,
of that vicar and your abada in your lives, especially in these last ten nights.
And particularly the dua and the beautiful dua taught by the Prophet of Allah, Allah, which is very short and it's very easy for us to remember.
And we must try to seek layla to the Qadr on every single night.
And we must try to seek it with sincerity and devotion and with remembrance of Allah, hoping for Allah, Suu'u'u'u'i's mercy and his forgiveness.
With your brothers and sisters, we ask Allah supranah to accept our efforts from us.
Forgive us for our sins, our shortcomings, and grants the ability to witness and benefit from the blessings of the blessings of the blessings of the blessings of our brothers.
of these sacred nights and we ask Allah suhphanahua to bless us all during the last 10 nights of these
this month I mean wakurur al-a-a-a-l-a-a-a-ha-a-a-a-haean for coming again my brothers and
sisters inshallah we will go and continue on with our night for ifta'ar inshah allah
al-a-a-a-a-raqmatelahi and baleh wak too my brothers and sisters
