Starting point is 00:00:14 Bismillah, Rihman, and the Allaheim, al-Hawah, Allah, Allah, and the Salat, and al-Rasulah, and al-Aishe, and Aishabi, and Ajamaii, and Aishe, and Aishaeimá'a, and Abhāra'a, and Abadarah,
Starting point is 00:00:26 our brothers and sisters, and the believers, and those who are most pleasing to Allah, Suhpani, Hewetal, and the servants of the most merciful. I ask Allah, Sapaan, to God, to go as far as our shah, coming, and I grant to special mercy not only in this life, mainly next. I pray that all of us are having a blessed day,
Starting point is 00:00:43 and ultimate, the Abless Dahlhijja so far. We are on the fourth day of Dahlhajah and my brothers and sisters I want to give us this reminder. I want to first start off with a question to all of us. Does anyone here know what the best day of Dahl hijja is? Does anyone know what the best day of Dahlhijja actually is? Is it the first? Is it the day of Eid? Is it the day of Arafa? Is it a is the day of Arafa? Is it a halfway point? What day is it? That is the best day of Dahlhijia. Yes, it is the day of Arafa. The day of Arafa was either, to be quoted and narrated by the Prophet of Allah a Hew s.
Starting point is 00:01:19 He said that Hajj is Arafa, that the main root of Hajjah is Arafa, right? That the main root of Hajjah is Arafa. The main root of the Hijja is Arafa. That Arafa is the greatest of the days, and is the best of the days. Not just for your dua, not just for your dhā, not just for your zikr, but for your closeness to Allah, for your iBada, for your worship, and for any of, you know, your alleviation, from your sins, for your betterment of this life and in the next, and anything you can possibly think of, it's best in this day. Even your fasting is multiplied. So the day of Arafa is a very blessed time. We know that Allah gives us these blessed seasons, and he gives us these blessed days. We know the most blessed of days as well among, you know, as I said, one of the, but one of the most blessed of days is of the last ten nights, which is laid to cedar, right? We know that during this time in Dural Hijja, it is,
Starting point is 00:02:15 Arafa, and their list continues to go on. So my brothers and sisters, there are going to be two parts to this. And, inshallah, the second part will come out on the eighth. But I want to first go over the day of Arafa, and this is, as this is known as the day of dua. So there are moments, like I said before in life, which Allah, Suhpani-Hu-Tadha opens the doors of mercy wider than ever for us and wider than usual. And these are moments where our sins are forgiven. These are moments where hearts are changed. are moments where lives are changed and these are moments where duas are answered.
Starting point is 00:02:48 And among the greatest of those moments and the greatest of those days is the day of Arafa. And the Prophet of Allah a He waslam said in authentic Hadith, he said that there is no day which Allah, Suhphani, it's out of freeze more people from the fire than the day of Arafa. So, it's not Ramadan, it's not Lama, it's not a Juma, it's not a Shura, it's not any of these beautiful and blessed days or any of these beautiful and blessed times. But the Prophet's Allaha alexi al-a-a-u-slam specifically highlighted the day of Arafaturah, it's as a day which Allah supranahua Tala frees countless people from jahannam. Why? And one of the reasons is actually because it is the day of dua.
Starting point is 00:03:24 And if we know, Dua can change a lifetime, and Dua can change the way of how you live your life. They can change your life and others around you. If you're making Dua that you ask Allah, to grant you money, that money can actually be bad for you, and it can be good for you. If you continuously make Duraa asking Allah supranahua Tala for money, that you'll be able to give it for charity, that you'll be able to do good with it, then Allah, Supperahua Tallah blesses you with that money, and you do good with it by you making that dua, you might earn jinnah from that. But it's not as easy as simple as that.
Starting point is 00:03:56 And I'm going to mention that first before I say, go make a dua about money. It's not as very easy as you think it is. It's about the sincerity you have in your heart. It's about the intention. Because with, we know that responsibility, with you know with that power and which Allah, Sufanoiata gives you or with whatever it may be that Allah gives you, comes out responsibility. If Allah, Sufano-Hu-Talda gives you millions of dollars, how are you going to use that money to help this Ummah? How are you going to use that money to help in this dunya?
Starting point is 00:04:23 So there are many other ways and many other things I want to mention here. But among one of the things is how dua is a time in which it can change the path of history. And on the day of Arafa, it is a day where millions stand before Allah, supranahua-a-a-a-a-a-ha-ha-ha-ha with broken hearts, raised hands, and tearful eyes. So they're not just standing before Allah Suhpana hua Tala in one place But they're standing before Allah suhpana hua Over the whole globe
Starting point is 00:04:47 Which is why I give us the reminder now If you're going to Hajd then Inshallah make as much dua as you can If you're not going to haj and you're staying here where you are Make as much dua as you can Dedicate this whole day to doa Not just during certain prayers Not just after a certain period of time
Starting point is 00:05:02 If you have work Try it's ensure that you try to make it possible Where you have enough time to make dua And we ask Allah Sufāsa and her retires accepted are from us. And what I wanted to mention as well, my dear brothers and sisters, is that we know that Arafah is the ninth of Duhl-Hijah
Starting point is 00:05:18 and is the greatest day of Hajj. In fact, like I said, before the Prophet of Allahe-A-Wadahed-Sahedlam said that Hodge is Arafah, meaning that the heart of Hajj is this one day. So I want you to imagine the scene. Millions of Muslims are dressed in a simple white garment, for the men, at least. No wealth, no status, you know,
Starting point is 00:05:38 no brands, no titles, no luxuries. Everyone looks the exact same and everyone is standing under the exact same son, calling upon the exact same Lord, calling upon the exact same rub, crying for the exact same mercy. And they're crying, of course, they can be for different reasons, but they're crying to Allah, suhāhma,u, and what does that scene remind you of? The day of Arafa, and ultimately Hajj itself, but especially the day of Arafa, reminds you of the day of judgment. When you're standing before Allah, Sufana, ahu, Tata, it's just you and Allah, not you and every one. else making a congregational dua just you and allah suhpana and how it's a and this is why my brothers and sisters arafa is known as what what is arafa known as is
Starting point is 00:06:20 before i say the answer arafa is known as what the great equalizer the great equalizer why is it known as the great equalizer because no one is above anyone else no one has more followers no one has more likes no one has any distractions only our deeds are the ones that are present with us in that moment our brothers and sisters might be there with us but our deeds are the ones that are present before Allah, subhpanao'u'u-ta-a-ta-a-da. When you're standing under the sun, when you're standing in the heat, when you're standing on a rock, when you are there calling upon your Rob, you're there at the Gabil al-Rahman, at the rick of mercy, and the place of mercy, you're calling upon
Starting point is 00:06:56 Allah-Supon-Rahu-Tal. It's just you and Allah. Not you, Allah, and most of what other people around you, it's just you and Allah. And this is why the Prophet Allah a Allah a-u-Salam taught us a dua on the day of Arafa, and a dua we should say on the day of Arafa. I said Arafa twice, I'm sorry, but he said, La Ilaha'u'u'llah, al-Hanah al-Hanahulah al-Han'dhulhamd,
Starting point is 00:07:15 and he'll Ayaeq, wailiq, al-hul-lishei-shaii'a'a'a-said. That there is no God worthy of worship except Allah, alone without partner. To him belongs all dominion and all praise, and he has power over all things. And the Prophet, Sallah, that this is the best thing that I and the prophets before me have said
Starting point is 00:07:31 on the day of Arafa. So, think about that, that this was the dua of our prophets from Ibrahim al-Hei-Salam to Musa-A-Slam to Muhammad-Sala-A-A-A-Slam, to Muhammad-Sal-A-A-A-W-A-W-Slam. All of them declaring that Allah-Supana-A-A-Loh-A-Loh-A-Las deserves worship. Allah alone controls everything. Allah alone deserves praise, and Allah-Supon-A-Sah alone has power over all things. because the heart of Dua is Tauhid and the heart of Arafa is completely returning back to Allah,
Starting point is 00:08:01 Sapanarhu, Tala. I want to also go over the Dua of Yunis Aalai Salam and among one of those greatest duas like I said is to do the dua of Yunis Aalai Sanna when he was trapped in the darkness. He said, La Ilaha, I'mtupon, Sophanakhanak. He said that there is no deity
Starting point is 00:08:18 except you, glory be to you. Indeed, I was among the wrongdoers. So this Duaa contains Tauid, glorification and admitting of your mistakes and of your sins and your shortcomings. And that is exactly what the spirit of Arafa is and ultimately what you'll be trying to do during Arafa. Not arrogance, not showing off, but humility before Allah, Suhannahu, Tata, and acknowledging your sins and your shortcomings and presenting them before Allah, saukhanao'u, T'a, asking Allah to forgive them.
Starting point is 00:08:45 And one of the biggest mistakes that people make, especially on this day, whether or not you're going, sorry, whether or not you're going for Hajj or not, is that they want to make their duai sound perfect. But the answer to that is, or so not the answer, I didn't ask a question. But to say what that is no, you're not supposed to, you shouldn't make your dua as perfect as possible. You shouldn't have a plan. You shouldn't have a sheet of paper that's before you saying, this is how I'm going to make my doa. I'm going to say such and such and such thing, such and such and such. Because Allah, Suhpana-ahua-Tal doesn't look for perfection in your words.
Starting point is 00:09:14 Allah suhaphaneru-ah-hah looks at sincerity in your heart. So speak to Allah in any of your languages. cry to Allah subhpana hurrahua ta a beg him tell Allah suprana huaita your fears tell Allah subpoena rata your pain tell him your struggles tell Allah what nobody else understands because Allah supranah huata is a Sami he is the one who hears every single whisper and sometimes the most powerful dua is not the one that's memorized but sometimes it is simply yeah Allah help me with such and such thing yeah Allah forgive me yeah Allah guide me because those tears may be what is more beloved to Allah sappana hurrah
Starting point is 00:09:48 in long speeches. And many people ask Allah, suhpaniahu Tāra'a for dunya. And many people in their duas make, many people in their duas ask for dunya, right? They say, yeah Allah grant me this money, ya Allah grant me success, grant me this job, but look at Ibrahim a a la his when he left his family in the desert, what did he ask for first? What did he say? Did he ask for wealth? No. He asked Allah sa'upehahua he said, my lord, make me the one who establishes this prayer and from among my descendants. So he asked for
Starting point is 00:10:18 faith first right so for Salah he asked for guidance and he asked for the athira this teaches us something powerful that the believers greatest concern should not be the dunya first but rather it should be their closest to Allah it should be the a after and on the day of Arafa make do a for forgiveness for guidance for sincerity a heart connected to the Quran a heart connected to Salah strength in sara righteous children righteous spouses Jinnah protects him from jahannam and then ask Allah suhanna for your dunya because if your a kha'a is good then your dunya will fall into place in your
Starting point is 00:10:55 dunya will be good as well so many brothers and sisters your i bada aramaan do not let the day of arafa which is coming up inshallah past like any other ordinary day fast make vikr raise your hands turn off your distractions spend time alone with allah suhpana her rata repeat the words of the prophets of allah a he wasleam and the prophets before him as well not Allah Allah Allah, one of a shaliki, there's a khali, and say with sincerity,
Starting point is 00:11:21 La ilah, Allah, Allah, and suhannick, I'm from the thalemannes. Because this may be the day your sins are erased, this may be the day your life is changed, this may be the day
Starting point is 00:11:32 Allah, writes you among the people of Jinnah, so prepare your duas now. Not a perfect menu, not perfect memorization script you should be trying to follow. And come to Allah, subhanna,hu, Tala, with humility,
Starting point is 00:11:44 tears, going to hope, prepare your heart to now because no one turns to Allah Suponahua Tallah sincerely accept that Allah supranahua hua Tallah respond and accept your duas and we ask Allah subhpana who is to grant us the ability to witness the day of Arafa, fill it with sincere duas and accept every single dua that we make in every one of our duas we make and to forgive us for our sins our shortcomings and grant us a special mercy not only in this life mainly next. Sorry if I made a couple of mistakes here with what I said but
Starting point is 00:12:13 And al-ahmah, al-hamedal-a, abrahamian, and al-a-a-hameda-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-sustra. Insha-a-a-a-a-a. I'll see you tomorrow for a jima. I believe still. I'm sorry, I'm forgetting right now. Asa-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-homat-alaii-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-s.
