Bismillah and Rahman and Rahim, al-Handulilah,
Godalam, and Salathe, and al-Rasulah,
and al-Alihi, and Aishabi, and Ais Abhaeem.
Salaamu-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-pregat to
my brothers and sisters.
I pray that everyone is doing well,
and I ask Allah, to forgive us for our sins,
our shortcomings, to grace and special mercy,
and only in this life, mainly in the next,
to accept our fast from us,
accept our efforts from us today.
And I also ask Allah,
to bless us allahua to bless us
to bless us with a blessed night of Tarui,
a night of prayer,
night and remember it to him and we ask Allah supanahua to grant us all barraka within our night
blessings. My brothers and sisters, al-hambhalil-la, we are now on, I believe, episode 18 of this series.
Only 12 more, inshallah, until everything is done. Do not forget, my dear brothers and sisters,
that we will also be doing our dua of Qunut as well. So follow along for that as well.
But brothers and sisters, we apologize for turning back to a law series. That series actually is a
little delayed at the moment due to some issues that we had but everything's still coming out so
don't worry you know instead of the episode coming out at five o'clock in the morning for fudjard
it actually comes out sometimes at six or seven and there have been kind of cases in which it came out
at ten but we actually updated people ahead of time so just to let you know inshallah
make sure you join the community as well to be a part of this beautiful mission shah allah to be a
part of something bigger and to dive deeper into the true meaning and significance of being Muslim
for the sake of Allah, Sufana,
how it, my dear brothers and sisters,
today I want to go into speaking about the dua
of Laila till Qadr.
And I remember I was writing this,
and I'm kind of thinking to myself,
like, how am I going to write a talk
about just Layla to Kudr, right?
The dua just for Lailethyl Kudr, like,
it's only just that dua, how short it is.
You know, the Allah,ohme,
in me ka'aufu'u and to have bhafua,
how short it is?
Like, how am I going to make a whole talk out of this?
And, alhhhhah, by the sake of Allah,
I was able to break it down deep,
for us. So inshallah ta'a we will go through it, my dear brothers and sisters. And just to let you know,
this is an authentic hadith in which Aisha, Radiullahana, asked the Prophet of Allah a Heu'll
Salah if I see or if I witness Lailat of Qadr, what do a-should I make? And this was the dua in which
he told her and taught her to say. So this is a specific dua, my dear brothers and sisters in
which we should recite during this time period, not just on the 27th, not just on 25th,
but throughout every single night of the last 10 nights and continue on throughout their, my dear brothers and
sisters, the do-a actually translates to, if you say the Arabic of Allah-Humma,
inn-k-a-fou-a-f'-f'-a-fou-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a. So to start off, my
brothers and sisters, there are actually going to be six parts of this dua I want to mention.
And the first part is the part in which we start off mentioning Allah-Supana-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-ha,
when we say, Allah-Humma, right?
Oh, Allah.
So the du-a-u-a-ha-ha.
So the dua begins with Allahoomah as it is a direct opening of our dua.
It is a direct opening or a direct line of connection to Allah supana hua Tala.
And the term signifies a personal and intimate call to our creator.
So it emphasizes the importance of addressing Allah supana hua Tala directly and acknowledging
his position as he is the one who hears and responds to our invocations or to our duas
or to our prayers or to our, you know, like I said before duas, I don't want to say do a
twice, but do our duas.
The second one is Inneka.
So if you pair these two together, Allahumma Inneka, which is O Allah, indeed you.
Indeed you is innaka.
So innaka means, it serves as to affirm the certainty on what follows, right?
Indeed you.
We are not making partners with you.
We're not saying, oh, it's such and such person as well.
There's such and such creation that you've also made.
Only you, yeah, Allah.
Only you, right?
And then I don't want to go too far,
but if you go into, I'm still gonna go back to in Naka,
but if you go to Afu-1, that is most forgiving.
So if you look here at the pairing,
Allah, indeed, you are the most forgiving.
It doesn't say indeed, you are forgiving,
and there are others that are forgiving as well.
No, it says, oh Allah, you are the most forgiving.
Indeed, you are the most forgiving.
Affirming that you, oh, Allah only belongs,
the seeking of forgiveness, right?
We shall only seek forgiveness from you
because you're the most forgiving
and the only one who really will truly forgive us.
So we go into inneka.
It actually emphasizes that we are speaking
about Allah, Sufana, His attributes
of being the most merciful.
And it signifies not just forgiveness,
but a complete removal of our sins,
which is why this is a very powerful reminder
that Allah Sufana Huatá'i's
does not merely overlook our mistakes,
but rather he wipes them away entirely.
And this very beautiful aspect of the dua
encourages us to approach Allah suhpana-ho-ta-a-ta-da with hope,
knowing that he is capable of forgiving even the gravest of sins.
So try to absolutely keep this in your life, my brothers and sisters,
which is a full one, and also keep into your life in nika.
So when it comes to this part of the dua-da-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a.
recognizing the truth of Allah supaniahua'a's nature, which brings me to the next part, which is to hibbubu, right?
To hibbul.
So we say, Allah, huma, inni ka'a fu'an to hebbl, which is you love.
Who does Allah, Sufanohu-sala love, and what does he love?
Well, here we are acknowledging that Allah, Sufanohu, Tala, loves forgiveness.
Like in the authentic hadith, it is a narrated of the prophet, sallu, said that if a person did not sin,
Allah supranahua-ta-a-ta-a-ta-a will replace him with someone who would sin so that he can forgive them
because Allah-saparra-sav-a-da loves to forgive those, right?
And then they would seek the forgiveness of Allah and he would forgive them.
So Allah-Safana-a-hu-ta-ta-a-law loves forgiveness.
You would think that somebody will want a perfect person who doesn't sin,
who doesn't make any mistakes.
It's just clear.
But Allah-sabana-hu-Tal is saying, I want you to make mistakes to come back to me,
to repent to me, you know, to repent to me, to seek my forgiveness.
And this is exactly why.
To Hebbul means you love.
You love what? You love to forgive. You love forgiveness.
So this part of the duai in which we are making now, which is part four here, is it highlights the divine nature of Allah,
Sufana, His mercy and compassion. And it reassures us that seeking Allah, Sufanohu, His forgiveness is not just a duty,
but it's rather something that Allah, suhaphan, our who is at his cherishes, which is why we should understand,
and it should motivate us to try and seek the forgiveness of Allah,
upon our whole it was sincerely knowing that it is pleasing to him which brings me
to the fifth part of your forgiveness and seeking the forgiveness of Allah which is a
foo so when you come to a foo this is a beautiful part of the dua because now we are
affirming so far that Allah sappano hua loves to forgive people twice you say
allahum nae hafua so I would like to bring up this point here if you actually
look deeper into
the wording here. Number three and number five are actually the same. I don't know if you can actually
tell them. But if you said afu, all right, you say afu one, which means most forgiving. And then you say
afwa. You're actually just adding the alif, if you do the Arabic, it would be an alif to it
that makes it a, which would make it afu, right? Or afua. So when you come here, you look here and
the actual meaning of these two are the same.
So you actually mention
Allah, Sufano, His forgiveness twice
within this dua.
Allahum,
in me ka'a afo-wan,
tohibbul,
affua,
fa'afo anna.
Or, ane,
for if it was just you.
So when it comes here,
under brothers and sisters,
the repetition of the concept,
you know,
forgiveness
reinforces its significance,
which is why it reminds us
that forgiveness is not just
a one-time act,
but rather it's a continuous
process that we have to continue going through right so trying to be encouraged by
this to seek Allah suprana hua without forgiveness repeatedly even especially
during the matur Ramadan and especially on the night of Laidata which could be any
night of these odd nights especially when the rewards are multiplied by Allah
suhpana hua and the final one my dear brothers and sisters is a fool is sorry
it's fafo ani which is so forgive me so this dua
is concluding with personal plea right personal wants saying ya Allah see it starts off by
praising Allah it starts off by affirming that Allah subpao is one he's the only one who
forgives he is the most forgiving and then it comes to yeah Allah you love to
forgive so please forgive me right so fa'fou an me means to forgive me and this is
actually a humble request for Allah supanahua'u'i's mercy as it reflects our
our recognition of our shortcomings and our dependence on Allah sufano how it
has mercy and it is also a reminder that we should also we should always turn back to
Allah in humility acknowledging our needs for his forgiveness so when you go
through the dua and you go through these six parts Allahumme in mehaw and to
heb will affua fa'fou an me oh Allah indeed what indeed you love forgive
indeed you are the most forgiving you love to forgive so please forgive me
When you go through this
Duraa, my brothers and sisters,
you start to realize it's not just a collection of words
and phrases in a sentence
put together, but rather
it's actually a profound expression
of our relationship with Allah
Sufanahu, Allah, as it encapsulates the
essence of our iman, of our faith,
and of this religion, acknowledging our
flaws when it comes to seeking the mercy
of Allah, Sufana, Heu, Allah, and
acknowledging and recognizing
his infinite mercy, because
for you to think that your sins outwey
Allah, Sophanarhu, Tala's mercy is beyond the imagination.
Because just like we mentioned yesterday when we spoke,
what was one of the things I said?
And actually, I believe it was the Juma talk.
I spoke about Allah, Allah, Sufanohoi Tala's mercy
and how he has written on his throne,
it has it written beside his throne,
that it says that my mercy prevails my wrath.
So Allah, Sufana, whoi, Tala here is clearly stating to us
and telling us that my mercy is way more infinite,
way more powerful, way bigger than any sin that anybody could ever commit, even if it were the size of the mountain.
Allah, Sufana Hu'u'i Tala's mercy is beyond that it's infinite, right?
So, my dear brothers and sisters, when it comes to the dua to laelida to Qadr, it's actually a beautiful reminder of Allah,
and Allah, supanah, His mercy and forgiveness, and when we recite it, we must have sincerity and a deeper understanding of its meanings.
So honestly, the reasoning why, if you look at the deeper,
meaning of this, the six parts of this dua,
Allah huma,
inni ka'u'an to hebbo al-a-a-fua,
the reasoning
why this dua is made in such a way
instead of just saying,
O'u-all, you love to forgive me,
or you say, oh, Allah, forgive me, right?
You guys just say, oh, Allah, forgive me.
But instead, you say,
O Allah, indeed,
you are the most forgiving.
You love to forgive, so please give,
please forgive me, or pardon.
There are different translations to all of them.
My dear brothers and sisters, as we continue on throughout the last 10 nights and as we go into the last 10 nights,
we must strive to embody the essence of this dua in our daily lives, seeking forgiveness, not just during the month of Ramadan, but throughout the year.
Remember, my dear brothers and sisters, Allah, Sufanahu, Allah is always near.
He is ready to respond to our calls and our invocations, like he says in the ayah and the Quran,
that call upon your Lord and I will evoke you, right?
He says, invoke your Lord, and I will respond to your invocation.
So do not forget, my dear brothers and sisters that Allah, Sufanao'u,
is always near, he's always ready to respond to our calls, which is why we ask Allah,
Sufana, Heau, to grant us the ability to be forgiven.
We ask Allah, Sufana, Heu, to grant us the ability to seek his forgiveness, especially
during this blessed night and the blessed nights of the month of Ramadan throughout the
throughout the times of our lives, period, my dear brothers and sisters, and we ask Allah,
who, who is accepted from us.
My dear brothers and sisters, Zahua al-Qa-Qaeda for coming again.
May you forgive me if I said anything wrong, or if I started a lot, I think.
I think probably should have gone over this again, but nonetheless.
I apologize if I studied a lot.
May Allah's, by God, and forgive us all, my dear brothers and sisters.
Forgive us our sins of our shortcomings and grants us special mercy,
not only in this, and mainly in the next.
Zahmulaharan again, my dear brothers and sisters.
And, al-aharanah, al-harmuil to Allah,
and your brothers and sisters.
And your brothers and sisters.
