and Rasmu ala'a'aacem,
with your brothers and sisters.
I pray that everyone is doing well
and I ask Allah,
Sufana-Hu-Talda, if it goes for our sins
or our shortcomings and cares of special mercy,
not only in this life, remain in the next.
My brothers and sisters,
we know that the blessed days,
the blessed 10 days, in the greatest of 10 days
of Duhlijja have come and they have gone,
days in which the Prophet of Allah Allahe'u-a-u-a-u-slam
described as the greatest days for our
righteous deeds, days in which many of us, inshallah, increased in our
Salah, our Quran, our vicar, our fasting, our charity, our
and our connection ultimately with Allah, subhanna-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a.
But now a question remains for us.
Who are you after these 10 days?
Were these 10 days simply an event on your calendar,
or were they beginning or were they the beginning of a transformation?
One of the greatest tricks of Shaitan is to make us think that our
worship is seasonal.
that we worship intensely during Ramadan
during the first 10 days of the Hijja
and then return to our old habits afterwards.
But Allah, Sufana Hu, T'a'a'a'a
is not just the Rhab of Ramadan.
He is not just the Rhab of the Hidja.
Allah, Sapanu'u'u'a'a'a is the Rab of us
and He is the Rab of every day and night.
The sign that your good deeds were accepted
is not that you perform them once,
but rather is that Allah Sapanahua Tala
Allah grants you the ability to continue doing them
and doing those good deeds afterwards.
words. The righteous predecessors used to worry, not about performing a good deed, but whether
it will be accepted. And one of those signs of acceptance is consistency, which we know in a
hadith in which the Prophet of Allah al-a-u-Slelam said that what is more beloved to Allah
that is consistency. Allah loves those who are consistent, even if it is small, even if it
is few, even if the good deed you did during the Hidja were few, even if they were small.
loves you to be consistent, not praying sometimes here and there, not doing good deeds here and there,
but continuously doing it for Allah, Sufanahu, with true sincerity in your heart.
And my brothers and sisters, as one of these blessed seasons is soon to come to an end, inshallah,
another one is going to be in.
And now we enter the blessed month of Muharram.
And Muharram is one of the four sacred months that Allah, Sufanohu, Allah reminds us of in the Quran.
It is a month honored by Allah, suhanna and even the Prophet of Allah-a-u-a-u-slam called it the month of Allah.
El-Mahram, the month of Allah.
And among its greatest virtues is fasting.
Right?
So the Prophet of Allah-A-W-Slam said that the best fasting after Ramadan is fasting in the month of Muharram, right?
Or in Allah's month.
And when Muharram, sorry, isn't, wait, but within Muharram.
is the great day of Ashura, a day on which
Allah, Sophano'u'u'a sa'am and his people from Faroan.
And the Prophet of Allah al-Aleu'slam fasted this day
and encouraged his Ummah to fast on this day, particularly as well.
Now one of the things I want to mention as well, as I mentioned before,
was how seasonal, worship and seasonal obedience to Allah
and seasonal fasting should not be something that a true muamun has within their lives.
You should fast any and every opportunity you have.
every opportunity you have.
You should worship any and every opportunities you have.
Like we mentioned before in a talk that we did this week,
I mentioned how we know that Dulhijia has ended.
We know that Ramadan has ended.
We know that the blessed 10 days have ended and they've come to an end.
One of the best acts that you can do besides your sala
to continue with consistency even after these points is your fasting, is your psalm.
As it prohibits immorality, it prohibits sins.
It brings you away from,
bad and it gained you closeness to Allah supanahua and more awards.
So my brothers and sisters,
Ya ibado rachman,
do not allow the Quran you carried in Gulhijan in Ramadan to gather dust in Muharram.
Do not allow the vicar of your tongue to disappear.
Do not allow the tears you shedding your sala to become a distant memory.
Instead,
enter this muhram,
this beautiful and blessed the month of Muharram as a renewed servant of Allah.
Renew your commitment to the five daily prayers.
renew your commitment to reading the Quran every day,
renew your commitment to seeking ill and seeking knowledge,
renew your commitment to leaving behind sins that are displeasing to Allah
suhphano,
renew your commitment to making dua
because the greatest achievement is not reaching another one of these blessed seasons,
but rather the greatest achievement is reaching Allah
with a heart that remains steadfast after that season ended.
So even though we are coming to the end of the,
we are coming to the end of the Hijja,
which is one of the blessed months.
The month that comes behind that is also a blessed month
and is among one of the four sacred months.
So continue to fast,
continue to worship, continue to pray,
continue to ask Allah suhpano'hu,
at all in your dua,
continue to make vikr,
continue to ask Allah,
sa'upehāha'u'll overall in your sala
in your duas on a regular day-to-day basis
and continue with your Quran,
continue with any and every act of bada that you can.
Because Allah,
subhahua-a-a-a-a-la loves consistency.
He loves consistency.
Even if it's small, even if you're only reading an ayah,
after every prayer that's five ayas a day you're reading,
that right there is something that's consistent.
And that right there is something that can gain you closeness to
Allah,
even if you might only make your doa in sala,
and you might have sometimes trouble making you outside of sala,
as long as you are continuously making doa,
as long as you are continuously calling upon Allah,
as long as you are continuously asking and begging
Allah, Sufana, His Allah for genital Ferdas al-A'A'A'A'A'a and saviour from the Hellfire,
which I ask Allah, Sapaan, His Allah, to grant us,
genital for Dosa-Ala, not the Healfair,
but grant us genital for Dauza al-Ala and save us from the hellfire.
I ask Allah, Sufana-Hu-Ta-A-A-A-A-A-A-to-make-U-Raw-A-A-Raz-A-Raw-A-Rah-Ram,
to make us among the righteous.
One of the most beautiful things, my dear brothers and sisters
that you can do during this time of Muharr-Ram is fast.
During this time of Muharram, you can fast.
during this time of Muharram you can make doa continue to continue that
Ibada that you did throughout this time of do the hijja in Muharram and
Muharram is a new start it's not just the new year for us it's not just the start
of 1448 for us but rather it is the start to our closeness to Allah
Sufana hurwata look by how this year started for you and look back where you
are now see how much you've progressed see how much you've regressed and see
what you can change see how you can get better and inshallah see what needs to be
rearranged because a lot of us have made mistakes a lot of us have gone backwards a lot of us
have gone forward some of us have gone up and some of us have fallen down but the one thing that
should always stay consistent is when we fall down we get back up and we go back to allah suhpana
hua yada even harder even stronger and we continue going to allah suhpana hoiata no matter what
happens so yeah iabad a renewed a renewed you requires sincere taubba a renewed youth
requires sincere intention and sincere efforts
And we ask Allah, Suhpanao'u'll
to accept our sincere efforts
and our sincere tauba
and our sincere effort
within these blessed days
of the Hijja,
and ultimately any time
that we have such
sincere tauba
from Allah,
subhāgana hurahua.
My brothers and sisters,
ya ibado rhamman,
do not give up that spirit of Ramadan,
do not give up that spirit of the Hijja.
Continue on your acts.
Continue on what you were doing.
And one of the best things
that you can ultimately
do throughout the rest of your life
beyond fasting,
beyond your salis,
is Dua.
Dua is what gains you closeness to Allah, Sufana-Hu-Talda.
Dua is what changes your future.
And we also know that it can also change our past as well.
For any mistakes that we have made, any sins that we have committed,
we ask Allah, Suhpana-Huadda, to forgive them and to renew us
and to allow for us to be granted his mercy,
not only in this life and meaning in the next.
One of the most, you know, beautiful things as well about Muharram
is how it is a time of the beginning of the year,
and in a time in which we should all try to turn back to Allah,
and how even the Prophet of Allah,
Allah, He would renew himself.
He would try to renew and he would sit and he would ponder
and he would think, how have I been throughout this year?
What did I change?
What did I, you know, go deeper into?
What habits have I gotten into?
How can I gain more closeness to Allah?
What can I do?
Because each and every Muharram is a time to change.
Just like you saw last Muharram,
and we ask Allah to see this Muharram,
very important to recognize that just as we saw the last muharram,
there are many who have not seen this muharram,
but if we get a chance to see this new year of the Islamic calendar,
then that is a blessing from Allah,
subhpaniahu, and we should use that blessing,
because we don't know when our last days are going to be,
and we ask Allah, Suhphanahua-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a,
so, yeah, iabad-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a,
to allow for us to witness this Muharram and many other muharams with faith and sincerity.
We ask Allah, Sufana-a-ta a ta aided to forget us for our sins and our shortcomings
to rectify our heart, strengthen our worship, and keep us steadfast until we meet him.
And, sallu'll-allah, and al-Nabhii'u'u'u'u'u'raim.
