Bismillah, Rahman, andrahme, al-hamedulilah,
and al-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
My dear brothers and sisters, I pray that everyone is doing well.
I pray that everyone has had another beautiful day of fasting.
I ask Allah sui-a-a-a-ha-a-gives for our sins and our shortcomings
and grants to grant this life and mainly in the next,
and most importantly, to accept our duas from us, to accept our fast from us today.
My brothers and sisters, as we are moving on, we are moving on to our worship our blessings,
into the 11th episode, which is today.
Today is our 11th episode, and we are moving on into the 11th day.
Do not forget, my dear brothers and sisters,
that you were picked out of the love and mercy of Allah,
sopano, to be in this month,
and I know I keep mentioning it over and over again,
but the reasoning behind why I keep mentioning my dear brothers and sisters
is this is a very important aspect that we have to realize,
is that just as we weren't promised this Ramadan,
we might not be promised the next Ramadan.
And we haven't even made it halfway,
through the month of Ramadan. Inshallah, we still have four days left until we hit the halfway
point. So my dear brothers and sisters, ensure that you're trying to build your connection
with Allah. You're trying to remember Allah more. You're using your time wisely. And inshallah
ta'allah, we ask Allah to find a hotel to accept all of our efforts from us.
My dear brothers and sisters, I would like to discuss a very important topic that resonates deeply
with us during this beautiful and blessed month of Ramadan. And that is how the Quran is a guide for
us. It is a guide in every aspect of our lives no matter what it is, which is why Allah,
Sufana-Talāra, he says, Bismillah, Rahman, Rahimim.
Shafur Ramadan, which is to his Quran, hudal, and nae, and beaenae, and binaean,
from the Houda and Furqan. He says that the Quran was revealed as a guide for all of humanity.
in the Matar Ramadan.
The Quran was revealed in the Matur Ramadan as a guide for all of humanity
so that they may know and they may discern between right and wrong
and they may gain taqua,
which is why the other ayah I've mentioned,
these are two most mentioned ayas among Ramadan
in which I've spoken about the Matar Ramadan
and that is,
Bismillah Rahman and Rahim
Yeah,
Ayyuh,
Al-Ladhaean,
kutiv on you,
Siamu Kama Kutib al-Alelelele
this ayahablicum laelikum tattakun
This ayah is saying that
O you who believe, fasting is prescribed upon you
as it was prescribed upon those who came before you
so that you may gain taqua.
The reasoning why I'm mentioning these two verses,
my brothers and sisters,
is because during the month of Ramadan
is a time for reflection,
it is a time for increased, you know,
Ibada and increased devotion in our
Ibadah, and it is a time in which the Quran
was revealed.
and it marks and it highlights the Quran's role as a guide for all of mankind
and especially during this beautiful month of Ramadan.
The thing, my brothers and sisters,
isn't to read the whole Quran throughout the Matur Ramadan,
but it's to actually understand it throughout the whole month of Ramadan.
If you want to read the whole book, go ahead, right?
Go ahead.
You can read the whole book.
I'm not saying it's anything.
I'm not saying it's haram.
And, you know, I'm not making a ruling upon that of whether or not you should or you shouldn't do it.
It's up to you.
And Allah, Sufana-ho, it's a la.
It's a la.
know's best.
But if you want to, read the whole Quran if you want to, yes.
But are you understanding it?
Are you letting it resonate within our hearts?
Because the Quran is not meant to be something that you only read in the month of Ramadan.
And then, you know, when the Shawal comes up, it's like null and void, right?
Like the next month after Ramadan, that Quran already gained dust on it again because you literally left it.
And the thing is, my dear brothers and sisters, this happens to all of us,
where sometimes we read so much Quran throughout the month of Ramadan.
that, you know, when Shawal comes up and then, you know, after that, the months continue going on.
And by the time we get to Muharam, we realize, okay, I haven't read the Quran in months now or since the month of Ramadan.
And the Quran is not meant to be read during the month of Ramadan, only for these 30 days.
It's actually meant to be read every day of our lives.
And it's meant to be used in every day of our lives, which is why in this ayah, I wanted to mention how Allah,
He said, shaflu Ramadan
L'u'rani al-ghi unzila
He says the Quran is sent
as a guide, right?
Houdel in Nassi and bei'i'i'enatim
Min'Huda and Frucan. It was sent
as a guidance for all of
humanity. He didn't just say it was sent for the
righteous. He didn't just say it was sent for
the pious. He didn't just say it was sent for those
who have strong taqua, those who have strong
iman. He didn't say it was sent for those
who are scholars. He said it is sent
for all of humanity, all
of mankind. Believers,
non-believers, young, old, right?
Men, women, big, strong, weak, whatever it could be.
The thing is, my dear brothers and sisters,
when you look at the Quran, don't just look at it in the month of Ramadan.
Look at it throughout your life.
Let it be a guy, let it be something that is going to help bring you closer to
Allah, subana how it.
Let it be something that's going to bring you closer to Allah,
not only, but also build a better relationship with him
so that in times of difficulty it's also very easy.
is why the Quran provides us a framework that is especially relevant during the year, right?
Because some of us say during the mother Ramadan, but during the year, there are so many
ayas that help us deal with things. And in a particular ayah, I forgot which one it was. It might
have been, I think, two. I think it might have been three after episode three. What did I speak about?
We spoke about tests and how they shape our echelac, how they shape our character. One of the things
about the Quran, my dear brothers and sisters is that it helps us with our echelac and how we
treat others. Why do you think that the Prophet of Allah a
He was known as the walking Quran? Because he lived by it.
Anything that was in the Quran, he lived by it completely, right?
There was no, I live by it a little bit. I only read it during the Matur Ramadan.
Of course, the Matur Ramadan is an enhanced spiritual time in which you do read it,
but it's also a time in which you want to build the habit to read it more.
Some people just buy the Quran just for that Mother of Ramadan,
and then after the Matur Ramadan, it sits on their shelves
or sits in an attic or a closet for months upon months until,
inshallah, if you're granted the opportunity to see the next Ramadan,
then you see it and you're like, oh, al-a-ahmada-what is this?
Did I buy a book of just dust?
Because every time I open it, I just keep seeing dust fly out.
Yeah, the reasoning why is because you haven't read it.
And, you know, with the advent of technology, al-hambul-il-il-a,
there are pros and cons to everything like we've been taught by the Prophet of Allah-a-Hu-Salam.
But if you look, yes, you have the Quran on your phone.
But the only thing I will give you is this.
For people who get a lot of notifications, it's probably best if you read out of the book.
Some people might understand me, others might not.
For those who understand me, you got that.
For those who don't, when you read off of your phone and you have the Quran and you're reading,
and even if you may, you know, you may turn notifications off and do not disturb,
sometimes little things will be like, oh, I need to look this up, oh, I need to do this real quick,
oh, I meant to pay this, oh, I meant to, and then it brings you away from the Quran,
And by the time you come back, you're like, oh, I think the last, this is the last time I read was two weeks ago.
And you're wondering like, why?
Why was the last time I read two weeks ago?
And I think the real reason probably is because you were doing it on your phone.
So I advise for those who are very busy, for those who are on their phones and they may have a lot of responsibilities, read it on, you know, read it.
Either if you can, you can read on your phone, read on your iPad, something else, or just read it in a normal book.
Because reading it in a normal book, you're not going to get a notification.
you can't swipe out of it and go do something else.
So just try to remember my brothers and sisters.
There are pros and cons to everything.
I'm not saying that you need to completely get rid of the phone.
I'm not saying that it's a bad thing that there's a Quran have on the phone.
I'm saying it's a good thing.
I use it sometimes.
I'm just saying, though, that try to pick up the physical book as well,
my dear brothers and sisters.
And one of the things about the Mat of Ramadan is try to embed the Quran in your heart.
Try to embed it in your heart.
I don't mean to embed the whole thing.
Embed one thing, just at least one thing.
One thing in your heart about the Quran, one thing that you learn, one thing that you want to practice in your life more.
If you read a verse that it says, Allah supana hua ta a surely love those who are patient.
Right?
Allah suhpanihuata loves those who are patient.
Then keep that in your heart.
Embed that in your heart of Allah supranahua taa loves those who are patient.
Try to be more patient.
Make it a goal.
Make it a habit to take one ayah from the Quran.
Every single day, every single opportunity you have and use that.
as a means of trying to draw closer to Allah supanahua.
Which is why, my dear brothers and sisters,
reflection is very important when it comes to the Quran.
And also do not forget that if you are reading the Quran,
it is very important to set aside time just to read the Quran.
And I'm mentioning this off of the phone as well.
Don't read Quran in a time that you know you cannot give it, you're full.
Don't read Quran, you're reading it and you're writing a paper.
That's not the best idea, right?
now you're mixing up the ideas
now you're probably thinking about so many different things
combined just literally
set time aside if that means
you got to go to a quiet room do it
if it means you go to the massad and when you're
at the massagia you read there do it
set aside time in which is just you and Allah
and Allah and you guys it's just you and Allah
are here and you're reading his book you're reflecting upon his
meanings and this brings me to the next point my dear brothers
and sisters when it comes to reflection
which we talked about as well I believe I actually
was the first episode of the series was reflection and renewal or renewal and friction.
I might have said it wrong.
But in the Quran, Allah, Suhpanoho, Tala engages us to ponder over its verses and plies
meanings to our lives.
When Allah supanohoa ta'a says in the Quran, do they not reflect upon the Quran or are
there locks upon their heart?
So the meaning of this verse is a reminder that we should not only just recite the Quran,
but also reflect upon its meanings and contemplate and implement its guidance.
So during this month of Ramadan, take time, my dear brothers and sisters to contemplate upon the verses.
I don't mean you have to contemplate for an hour or, you know, multiple hours.
Just take a little bit of time out of the day.
I saw I keep adjusting my shimag.
This thing needs to re-iron it.
But don't forget, my dear brothers and sisters, take just a short period of time.
It doesn't have to be a whole hour.
It doesn't have to be 40 minutes, 30 minutes, 20 minutes.
This can just be five minutes over one verse.
Contemplate over it, reflect over it, and try to think, how can I use this verse in my life?
If there's a verse about anger, there's a verse about patience,
if there's a verse about prayer,
and I'm thinking about myself, how can I use this?
If I'm thinking,
Allah, Sufana, He says in the Quran,
he says,
Innani, an Allah,
Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah,
He says, he says, establish a prayer for my remembrance, right?
So if he's telling me to establish a prayer from my remembrance,
and you're not doing it, this could be a reminder.
Try to establish the prayer, try to pray more,
try to work on yourself.
And honestly, my dear brothers and sisters, use these verses in your daily lives.
Ensure, okay, maybe I wasn't being so patient today.
How can I be more patient?
What is a key way to be more patient?
And ensure, my dear brothers and sisters, that you are trying to read the Quran,
especially throughout the day.
Any point in time you have.
We all are busy.
We all have things we're trying to get done.
Read the Quran at a certain point in time, whatever it may be.
Even if you just have a couple of minutes, like I said, my dear brothers and sisters,
you don't have to sit here for hours upon hours, upon hours.
reading the Quran to the point that you know you have gotten nothing done I'm not saying
that but I am saying set aside just a couple of minutes even if it may just be one
ayah and you just read that go off of that reflect upon it my dear brothers and sisters
try to ensure that you are following the framework of the Quran you are using it for
self-approvement and ensure my dear brothers and sisters that you are trying to follow its
guidance my brothers and sisters the Quran is our ultimate guide for our lives especially
during the month of Ramadan and outside of the month of Ramadan. The month of Ramadan,
the reason why I say during the month of Ramadan is because it is a time in which we try to
build a connection with the Quran, which we try to build our connection with it. Because yes,
building it outside is good. But you build a strong connection with it inside the month of Ramadan
and outside it will be even better, my dear brothers and sisters. Remember, my brothers and sisters,
that the ultimate guide is the Quran. Use it in your everyday lives, especially during
a year, especially every moment you have, as it provides us with spiritual nourishment,
guidance, and a framework for self-improvement.
But your brothers and sisters, as we continue on throughout the month of Ramadan, as we
continue to engage with the Quran during this month of Ramadan, we must strive to deepen our
understanding, reflect upon its teachings, and implement its guide guidance in our lives.
We must remember that the mat of Ramadan is a time for transformation, and the Quran is
the key to that.
By your brothers and sisters, we ask Allah, Suu, Suhāsa, and how it a while to grant us the ability to connect
with the Quran, seek his forgiveness and embody its principles.
We ask Allah, Suhpanao, to bless us all with a fruitful Ramadan and a beautiful and blessed
Ramadan filled with his mercy and his guidance and his forgiveness and his compassion
for us.
I mean, and wakur, al-a-a-a-a-hambuiluilah, Ruehalamine.
And, alaqa, and of yourchmoth
Allah and breakatum.
