Keeps règman and rhammedulah,
Allah,
and al-a-Nallam,
and all the Rousul-Lih,
and on Aalhi,
and hishapih, and
man, and while.
Asaamu al-a-aqmato,
my brothers and sisters.
We ask
Allah to forgive us
of our sins and our shortcomings
to grant us a special mercy
not only in this life,
but mainly in the next.
My dear brothers and sisters,
today I would like to share
with all of us,
the power of Tawakul,
the power of
self-reliance, the power of reliance on Allah supranahua-ta-a-da.
You know, it's a very interesting topic.
You know, I've had a lot of comments, so I say, from people, especially during my
episode about Te-Hajid and how they were saying how their Te-Hajad changed their perspective
on their tobacco and the reliance of Allah, suhpahna, and one of the comments I got
for my brother. He said, this is upon a lot, beautiful, beautiful story. He said he ended up
traveling from Saudi Arabia to go visit some family in Egypt, right? And we imagine that this is a
longer fly. You're going to be a little tired or whatever the case might be. He ended up flying
over to Egypt, right? He lands there. He has his passport with him. You know, everything is
perfectly fine. He meets up with his family and it is now time for
because he left earlier in the morning. It is now time for Saladz al-Dohr. So he goes to the
mashtid, he goes to the mashtid and prays his Salat al-Zah Dhar. And then he comes back for Salat al-Azer.
He's only staying for, you know, the period of between Asur to Maghrib and then after Magh
Mugreb and he's going to leave him to head back to Saudi Arabia. And, you know, particularly
this day, he happened to be very tired. He didn't get a lot of sleep that night before. And he
He went to the master's for the Lord, prayed, left with his family, came back there, unpacked his bag, you know, everything.
He's looking through there, and he's like, al-Assaf allah, where's my passport, right?
And the first thing that kicked in his mind wasn't to get upset, wasn't to, um, it wasn't to, you know, shout at others saying, you may have stolen it or, you know, pointing the figure at other people, saying that it might have been their fault.
but instead he said
let me make dua
to Allah suhpanao ta'a
let me ask him to make it easy upon me
so he made dua
you know just goes on
about everything
he prays Salat al-Azer
at the masjit
nothing right
he prayed
Sarat al-Magreb
he's starting to feel a little
anxious but then he remembers
reliance on
Allah supranahua ta'a
he remembers all of those
to Hajjah that he woke up
struggling
struggling to wake up because the hardest prayer for us to wake up for is fadj right the hardest prayer for us to wake up is fadjur and this brother woke up as much as he could to pray
sanata to the hajid or to pray kiya malay right he goes and he's going to pray margrip at this masjid for inshallah the last time and you know in his mind he's thinking
I know
inshallah I'm going to find it
you know most of the times people lose things
the first thing they're thinking about is
how am I going to get back home
I don't have enough stuff to stay here
what am I going to do with this
and what am I going to do with that
how am I going to do with that right
but the first thing he thought was
my dua will come
my word will be accepted by
Allah suhahahua this is
Tohanko and to end the story
suhphanalah beautiful
he went to the masjid for Salat al-Maghri
and this message supposedly had a table, a long table,
when you enter the door, and it had lost and found.
And it had his passport right there.
And the first thing he did is he fell on his knees,
his hands and his knees, and he made do unto Allah,
thanking him for granting him the ability to find his passport, right?
And he further goes on in the story.
I'm not going to explain the whole story because it was a very long comment.
You know, it takes me a lot of time to read this comic because, I mean, it's a long comment.
And he goes there, and he's saying,
pretty much so the reason he was
you know so like
anxious originally starting to feel anxious was
because he had to
do an interview the next day you know he was going to
go meet his family telling them the good news
you know I'm going to go do an interview for this job
in Saudi Arabia or whatever the case might be
and he happened to
go there and
lost his passport
and he had complete tobacco
remembrance or reliance on
loss upon a hojada
and guess what happened
Allah's upon a
He did not get upset. He did not shout. He did not become very aggressive. You know, he did not
curse Allah. He did not speak bad about Allah, but instead he turned to Allah. The first thing he did
was he turned to Allah and he asked Allah to make it easy upon him. He asked Allah for forgiveness
and whatever else he made within his dua. But reliance on Allah saupana in all situations and
recognizing what that reliance is.
You know, reliance on
Allah supranahua Tala is
sincerity. The truth is
sincerity. Because words do not matter.
Words do not matter.
It is our heart.
It is our connection to our
Rabb that matters.
We can say, I love
Allah, Allah, Suhphanahua Tala, as much as you can,
but you continue committing sins.
Right?
You continue committing sins, left and
right doesn't matter you saying you love allah suhpana huatala is a declaration from your mouth
not a declaration from your heart it did not come from your heart rather it came from your mouth
it's just lip service saying you have to wakul and allah suhpana huatala saying you have reliance
you are putting your soul life you're putting your soul existence everything in the hands of
Allah supranahua Tala trusting his plan knowing that no matter what happens the plan of
Allah supranahua is better than any plan than you could ever have and you have tawhakun you say
I trust in Allah supranahua Tala I trust in whatever he grants me I trust in it I put my trust
full trust now of course you know the Prophet of Allah al-a-u-Sahun also told us that even when
having tawakul you must still
you know uh tie your camel you know even though you know okay i make do i y'all don't let these camels run
away doesn't mean the camels are not going to go oh there's some food over there doesn't mean they're
not going to go and they're not going to go and just leave right you still have to tie your camel
meaning you still have to do your part you still have to say okay i'm going to try and find it you're
not going to say y'allah i just lost my passport oh well it's going to just poof out of the air
and fall in my hands whoa
Allah, it's a passport. You're like, no, it's not how this works. You have to have
to have reliance. You have to have reliance. It's a two-sided affair. You have to have
reliance on Allah supanahua'u's Allah, but mainly, or you're mainly recognizing that
reliance in Allah. And secondly, you have to also look for it or you have to follow up
through that action. You know, if you are going to be robbed, you're not just going to say,
oh well, I trust in Allah, gonna be robbed.
No, you have the right to defend yourself.
And Allah's upon our whole time it tells us that.
You have the right to defend yourself.
You're not just going to stand here and be like,
ah, these people are just punching me.
Oh, well, I have reliance on Allah.
That is not reliance on Allah.
That is you being ignorant.
You say, okay, yeah, I just, uh, hey,
I have reliance on Allah.
We look at these stories and we must ponder.
Because these other people are examples for us.
We think about how the Prophet Salahallah
a. He was an example for all of mankind.
He was an example for all of mankind.
He is an example.
We should follow him.
Follow his sunnah.
And one thing I particularly want to mention here
is how the brother stated in this comment,
he said, I prayed to Hajid.
To follow.
Nothing long ago I had to talk about.
to Hajjid and how important to Hajjid is within our lives. How it gains us closeness to
Allah. It is a means of wiping our sins away. It is a means of mercy from Allah, Suhpana
Hewtala. Why? Why is it a means of mercy? How? Well, first of all, you are praying a prayer
that requires strength. It requires strength.
You know, you waking up at 7 o'clock to go to work is a little different than waking up at 3 o'clock in the morning to go worship Allah Supa'u'u'u'a'u'a'u'a'a'u'a'a'u'a'a'u'a'a'u'a'a'u'a'a'u'a'u'a'a'u'a'n'a'u'a'n't. That's it. I'm just be like, like, ah, I do it in the morning when I wake up for Sh'u'u'u'u'u'hhhhhhah. That's it.
I mean, who loves to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night?
I mean, I don't think anybody does.
But the truth is, you have love for Allah, suhpano and Hewtala,
and you say, I am going to sacrifice my sleep for Allah suhpanao'u'u'u'a.
I am sacrificing something very important in our lives for something way better.
It is exactly why in the Fadj al-Zan, when the mu-Azzan repeats,
Salah is better than sleep
right
this is something that we have to go deeper
than a surface level of seeing
Salah is better than sleep okay yes
it is
Salah will only be better than sleep
if you have a connection
with Allah subhanahua
there are times in which it is
very difficult for you to wake up
and there are times in which it is easy for you to wake up
it is like a word is like they drop
in water for you to wake up
but other times it is very difficult
very difficult.
Recognizing that no matter what we do, the love, the trust, the sincerity in Allah
supanahua ta'a'a is important.
Just like this brother said in the story of having tawhakul.
He had sincere talakul, sincere reliance in the plan of Allah, sincere reliance.
He didn't just say, oh man, I lost my passport.
Oh, well, I guess I'm just going to have to stay here and try to find a job here.
He didn't just say, you know what?
I might as well quit life because, I mean, there's no point now.
I can't get back home.
No.
He said, I'm going to put my trust in a law, and that's it.
I'm going to put my trust in the law, and I'm going to fulfill my, I'm still going to fulfill my rights.
Because I might have lost my passport, it doesn't mean that I'm going to shut down.
It doesn't mean I'm not going to pay my sada.
It does not mean that I'm not going to perform my vicar.
I'm not going to, you know, recite the Quran.
It doesn't mean this.
It should be a means of getting closest to Allah, supran, and as the brother said in the rest of the comment, the end, he said, this was a test from Allah.
As Allah test those whom he loves.
And he said at the end, the Hajid changed my life.
It truly did.
It did.
He was like, it is so bearable now.
For tests to happen, the first thing that pops in my head is Allah-Supana-Hu-Talas testing me.
Bear the test, for there will be a greater reward than anything.
And Allah-Supana-Hu-Talah will continuously test you over and over and over and over again until you pass that test.
It is. Driving. That is a test in itself. You can be tested.
with the same thing over and over and over and over again.
And Allah's upon Allah will continue testing you until you get better at it.
We even think on a bigger scale of kids, children, of our spouses, of all these different things,
these are tests from Allah, Sufana, and Hewtala.
And we will be tested over and over and over and over again until we get that test correct,
until we improve, until we turn back to Allah subhapainerhoa Tala out of true love and sincerity.
Just like I had to talk about two months ago, I don't know, my days be writing together, but I had to talk two months ago.
And I talked about building a relationship with Allah, suhpaniahu, Tallah.
It's a more important than you think, because Islam is built upon trust.
It's built upon sincerity and love.
It's built upon a relationship with Allah or a relationship with al-Qaulik, your creator.
It is built on a relationship with your creator.
It is not built on a relationship with your prayer mat.
It is not built on a relationship with your fingers of I am performing vicar.
It's built on a relationship of Allah supranahu'u'u'u'u'u'u'u'u'a.
Having a strong connection to Allah is important.
And we think about how this brother is the example for us.
We should try to emulate his example.
And of course, the strongest and best of examples out of all of them,
is the prophet
sallah a
al-a-u-salim
because he was
the example
for all of
mankind and he is
the best of
examples.
So recognizing
that trusting
in Allah
subhaphanahu
Tala's
ultimate plan
is truth.
You know what
every Juma
at the end
when I'm speaking
the Arabic
I say
Allah humah
al haqa
haqqa
we ask
Allah to guide us
to the truth
to guide us to
what is real
and I want us
to really
recognize
and take a step back.
Sometimes we are so fast within our lives,
we're doing so many things
that losing things,
this happening, that test happening,
these different things makes it difficult for us
as believers
to keep up with our relationship with Allah.
Think about parents
who are struggling to work this job
and work that job and provide for the family
and do all these different things.
This is a test from Allah,
suprana, and how it's a lot.
And every cent that you earn
every drop of sweat that comes out or comes off of your face
is a reward from Allah,
as long as your intention is correct.
And yes, there are times in which we are burnt out
because we are working so much or we are doing so much.
But we must remember that our intentions matter.
How do we get true intentions
with our relationship with Allah, Sufana Hu's Allah?
You know, I love speaking.
I love talking.
But sometimes you look at your father,
You look at your likes, you look at your views, you look at all these things, the comments.
I said a day, I just look at the comments and I read them and I said,
Okay, so upon Allah, these people, these brothers, comments, these sisters comment, okay, cool.
I love that.
But every single time I post, I'm not going to be over here looking at a comment.
I'm not going to be looking for a view, looking for a like, looking for a play.
I'm not looking for all of those things.
All I'm looking for is that you learn something beneficial.
All I'm looking for is the relationship is the reward with Allah,
and the only way to have that is to have a good relationship with Allah
so just as we know that this beautiful month of Ramadan is coming up now is the time
that we should be strengthening our relationship with Allah why because a beautiful
month is coming in in which it will be even easier inshallah to strengthen our
relationship. And what do we do throughout that month? We build our shield, triple, quadruple,
billions of layers strong. So that, inshallah, when the shaitan comes back after Ramadan,
we will be strong enough to protect ourselves. And I don't ever want us to think that we are not
good enough to follow these examples of the people who came before us, or even the people who are
living in our day and age now. Because Allah, Supperna, Nahu, Tala, has made.
made us a specific way.
He has tested us with specific tests
that not everyone is tested with.
Yes, if you are a driver, you're tested
with driving, you're tested with your money,
you're tested with these different things within this life.
But not everyone is tested with the same thing.
So my dear brothers and sisters,
relying on Allah,
subhannahua'u, having true tawakul,
recognizing that no matter what happens
in this life, that
Allah subhannahuahua ta'a'a.
is always there for you.
And Allah, subhanna-ho-ta-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a is the most merciful.
He is the most divine.
He is the only.
And Allah-Supano-ho-Talah will never forsake you.
So, my dear brothers and sisters, make dua, ask Allah-saphanah-a-a-a-a-a-to-grant us the same strength
as our brothers and sisters around the world,
as our brothers and sisters right here in our own communities
who would go through struggles day after day.
and ask Allah supranahua to grant us the ability to have strong towakal, strong reliance in him,
and to prioritize our tajjuj, to prioritize our fudjid, to prioritize our fadjid, to prioritize our farsala,
to prioritize our islam and our relationship with allah supranahua ta'al before anything and anything else.
We ask Allah, suhpaniahua thala, to forgive us for our sins and our shortcomings,
to grant us to special mercy not only in this life but mainly in the next.
Asaamu alaqa and ala and ala and ala and abarayat and my brothers and sisters.
