Merry Christmas. Come join the Patreon. It's a huge community now with loads of extra cool stuff.
Starting point is 00:00:40 Patreon.com forward slash Sherlock & Co. Previously on Sherlock and Co. Stephen Selden has been found guilty of the murder of Filaria Yanez and Carla Rosas. reckless, cruel individual, a demon among us. He is deserving of every second in the darkened chambers of Dartmoor prison.
Starting point is 00:01:07 I feel like we're letting them down. I actually feel it personally, which is ridiculous. No, John, don't. Don't let that piece of shit hurt any more people, including you. Yeah. But I can't help feel for those poor people that they're in the war. Living out there, and this guy is on.
Starting point is 00:01:27 on the loose? Not like he's a burglar who just committed some tax fraud. He killed people, two beautiful girls. Oh, I feel so, so crap. I'm going to go back to bed, I think. Henry, Henry, are you out here? Open. Ah! Who are you are, boy? Brick! Rosemary, I know you've been crying. Get out of my house. Henry! Who is that? Hello? I can hear you. You're the... More.
Starting point is 00:01:58 Yeah. He. You're so? Yeah, Frank chucked me out of the house. Pointed a gun at my face. No wonder his wife has been crying all night. And the light, they keep switching that light on and off and on and off. They're sending messages.
Starting point is 00:02:09 There's messages to someone on the moor. Take this. Your necklace. Take it. You'll understand when you say that. I don't need this. I need a car. Thank you, Mr. State.
Starting point is 00:02:19 What the hell do you think you're doing? Oh my God. It's everywhere. I've stood in a puddle of it. It's all over the rocks. fall on these? No. What is that?
Starting point is 00:02:30 A severed arm. Jesus. Who's home? Show it look? Clambered down these rocks, half mutilated, blood pouring out of them in a torrent, their body breached, torn at, dismembered until finally defeated and... No. Who is that?
Starting point is 00:02:56 No. No, no, no, no, no, Henry, Henry! No! Move away, Watson. We don't know. This is... This is... This is jacket.
Starting point is 00:03:06 It's... Oh, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, Henry. John. I let him go. I let him go and he died, Sherlock. I let him go and he died. John.
Starting point is 00:03:25 Come here. Come here, John. Gwen, it's me. I haven't driven a vehicle for some time, so you'll have to forgive my waving concentration. I'm afraid I may require your services down on Dartmoor. A body has been found. I have what remains of the remains in this car, along with my Dr. Watson, who is in dire need of arrest, would be good to see you?
Starting point is 00:05:23 We're going to be. No. I'm not going in there. I'm not going in there. The Barry Moors have a right. to know the news. They have a right to nothing. John.
Starting point is 00:06:28 Sherlock, they took Sir Charles's rooms. They're communicating with someone or something right where Henry was killed. He literally held me at gunpoint. Oh, and by the way, his beard looks familiar, doesn't it, mate? Hmm? No? Nothing? Not suspecting the man that trains dogs to kill for a living. No?
Starting point is 00:06:48 The great detective, ladies and gentlemen. The investigation is a work in progress. work in progress. Unbelievable. Not quite unbelievable. But it would require some evidence. Not them. You.
Starting point is 00:06:59 What? Hey, Britain's biggest brain. How about you actually use it? How exactly am I not using my brain? You sent me down here. I told you to come. Technically, I did come, just not with you. Oh, right, yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:12 You sent me with Mariana. Where is she, by the way? Mariana... I don't... I'm angry. The stages of grief are well documented. Not what the... Death of Henry. I'm fucking heartbroken about that.
Starting point is 00:07:25 Mate, I'm angry with you, at you. Why? What do you mean? Why? You abandoned me. Again, I was here. Yeah, yeah, and funnily enough, when I started to put clues together. It started to actually get a foothold on the investigation, to find some firm footing after floundering around in this bog of a case, and then, oh, look, you show up.
Starting point is 00:07:46 I found you crying in the rain. Oh, shut. Just go in, do what you need to do. take the spare mic. I don't have it. Yes, you do. I know you do. Well, you're incorrect. Well, I'm correct, actually, because it wasn't in the drawer, and you obviously had this little excursion plan from the start. I don't have the spare microphone. I will take that one if it matters that much to you. No, no, do you know what? Don't bother. This one isn't going out. The case of the mutilated Canadian, I feel, might not get that many plaudits, mate. Sure you'd agree, in you go,
Starting point is 00:08:15 bye-bye. And what will you do? I'm going to drive to the station and go home. With a corpse in the back seat? Maybe I will. Then I'm taking the keys. Oh god, fine. Fine. Then I'm waiting here until you come back and you're driving me. Fine. Um...
Starting point is 00:08:32 ...that's sake. Um... Henry, it's me, mate. I hope you're comfortable back there. I had to put your seatbelt on because the little censored things and it. Yeah. I just want to say... It was really nice.
Starting point is 00:09:19 Getting to know you. I think you're a, I think you were a really cool guy. I hope that, no, I mean, well, yeah, I hope that you could at least find, I don't know, some comfort in the final seconds, maybe the thing let you be. maybe we scared it off and you had some time to reflect to be a peace I don't know maybe you went quickly I hope so you go be with your dad and your uncle mate I'm so sorry I let you down. Following your heart is a... It's a dangerous, bloody thing.
Starting point is 00:10:32 It's a dangerous thing. I'll... I'll reach out to friends and colleagues for you back in Canada. I don't imagine you'll fancy being buried here in the plot. Bloody Baskervilles. Well, they saved the best till last. The last of the Baskervilles. End of the line.
Starting point is 00:11:12 End of the line. I should probably tell Jamie and Mariana because I don't think Sherlock will do a very good job. It's not really his strong... What the fuck? Sherlock! Sherlock! Sherlock!
Starting point is 00:11:37 Shhh! Jesus Christ! What, you... Are you okay? I'm all right. Someone's been shot, Sherlock. It's Mariana. No. St. John's Reach at the Park Hotel.
Starting point is 00:11:56 Chop, chop. Do you fancy a cup of tea before we... And he's gone. Yep. See ya. Bye. So, welcome to Marianna and Co, everybody, where I make a cup of tea and type up a statement for a police report.
Starting point is 00:12:16 The font I like to use is Myriad Pro. Call me old-fashioned. Size 11, not 12, thank you very much. Come on, Mike, for God's sake. Until next time, listeners. Bye! Hey, welcome back to Marianne Anko. Good morning, John. Hey, do you sleep okay?
Starting point is 00:12:56 It was all right, yeah. Okay, you know what? I'm just going to email you the instructions, okay? Yes, of course. John, you ready? I am, yeah. Do we need to literally fly out the door right this second? I booked us on the train with Jamie and Henry, so yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:11 Great, cool. I'll, um... You shout for a cab, I'll just say bye to Arch. Okay. Where is it? Where is what? You know what? Your gun. Oh, we're...
Starting point is 00:13:25 Oh, we're... Hey, taxi. The R. Mills, Tabistock Police Station, Neville and Cornwall Police. Hello, Inspector. I'm getting in touch to request a favour. I'm not in the business. Branting favour. It's willy-nilly. Then it's an instruction, mate.
Starting point is 00:13:48 Did you sleep okay? I mean, oh, I'm so achy. I'm tired. I just passed out. And what about Mariana? She's a bit under the weather, actually, but she is with us. Sorry, who is this? Di Tom Gregson. Scotland Yard.
Starting point is 00:14:06 So sorry about that. That was a... That's her communication. We have here in the system. We have one of our third. third-party agents coming in today. She's assisted us on a number of occasions these past couple of years. I want you to share everything you have on Stephen Seldon with her.
Starting point is 00:14:30 Understood, understood. And, um, what's her name? My name is Mariana Mejazzurra. Of course, I'll take you through to Inspector Mills. This way. Ah, Miss Apachesori. Amitia Zura. Yeah, of course. I've actually, I've just gone back from Majorca, and I think your country is fantastic. I love the pubs.
Starting point is 00:15:04 Take a see. Look, thanks for popping by. I understand you are looking into the disappearance of Stephen Selden. A prison break. A convicted felon on the run. A fugitive. Yes. Yeah. All of the above. Tick, tick, tick. Hey. A little more unusual than a disappearance, Inspector. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, no, you're right. So I have, well, what I've done is I have all the reports here filed by my officers. Where do you suggest I start?
Starting point is 00:15:48 Well, these ones here are day of... Day of prison break. That's right. So this is mostly prison staff after they've elevated the situation to us. So these are written reports here. Yep. And these numbers here are the recorded conversations. Recorded conversations?
Starting point is 00:16:13 Audiovisual. So some recorded on tape, as it were, what we used to call tape. We don't call tape anymore. And then some on body cam, some straightforward video. So, yeah. Right. And what do you have in terms of LKL or PSA? LKL or PSA?
Starting point is 00:16:43 Last known location. priority search area? No, yes. Yeah, no, I knew that. I knew that. I knew that one. Um, a few locations. Uh, yeah, we believe, uh, the Moors, mostly. Yeah. The Moors? Correct.
Starting point is 00:16:58 You think he's still on actual Dartmoor? We do. Yeah. How? Our, our way of looking at it is, uh, we would have located, uh, the gentleman, the, the, the killer, uh, if he'd return to, to, uh, our way of looking at it is, uh, uh, our way of to civilization, as it were. Uh, yeah, we passed a police checkpoint on the way in. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:17:22 That's what they're there for, eh? Wait him out, starve him out. Have you went to the, uh, starving Stephen sweepsteak in the office? Unless he's finding food. Finding food, uh, before long, he'll become food. Out there, miss a magic confadda by or. Stop. Stop trying that.
Starting point is 00:17:46 Mariana is fine. Mariana, yeah. Right. Yes. Anyway, this, these and these, our reports filed. Dealing, yeah, mostly with local people, basically. Witnesses?
Starting point is 00:18:00 We don't have what you would call a verified witness as such, but we have claims of sightings and what have you. Okay. Why is this the first thing I'm hearing of sighting? Well, our local population have quite the imagination. Yes, so I've noticed. But surely these should have been made public. What? All 120 of them.
Starting point is 00:18:28 Oh. Exactly. And on duty at the time in this wing is yourself. I think I, yeah, okay, so it was myself, that's P.O. Myers. There was P.O. Lee and P.O. Colbill. And talk me through what happened, P.O. Myers. You inspected his cell. No, not quite. Some of the inmates had initially told us that... Sorry, sorry, sorry to cut you off, but confirming now. They had come forward of their own volition and told you? Yes, they had yet. That Stephen Seldon had escaped. That's correct. Right. Okay.
Starting point is 00:19:21 And you then elevated that to the police? We would elevate to our OSG, first and foremost. Your OSG? So that's an operational support grade, and they, well, Nigel, would determine the best action. So you did that? Well, not, no. Not at that point. No. Why not? Because we didn't believe them. God. You didn't believe the inmates. That's correct. Why didn't you believe them?
Starting point is 00:19:57 Well, because they're not to be trusted on most things. Okay. Um, well, so. Sorry, why would they joke about this? I... I don't know. When did you elevate? That evening. Because he was absent from his cell?
Starting point is 00:20:23 That is correct, yeah. And this is where Selden moves from the cafeteria here on this shot, to the laundering. facilities which you can see on this camera in the laundry facilities he had a temporary pass which we believe he stole he goes through the laundry room into a well not so much a closet but a I suppose a janitorial room storage room it has a window yes and you can see there well it no well it is locked but he just there that's where he breaks the lock and he's out and then we switch to the
Starting point is 00:21:20 external then he goes into the wheelie bin correct he remains in there for we believe a day and he doesn't come out at all no not while the bins are in the compound. Yeah, yeah. But once the bins are taken out, he's then out of the reach of our cameras. Oh, I'll speak to the council. Hopefully he got tipped into a lorry and crushed.
Starting point is 00:21:58 That's doubtful. I know. That's obviously when he escapes off-site. But before a collection. Bastard. All right Thank you so much. Everything all right.
Starting point is 00:22:24 Miss, Marianna. Yes, lots of work. I'm going to go speak to these people. Following up those leads, are you? Yeah. Yeah, hopefully something will come to late. We'll catch up tomorrow. Compare notes.
Starting point is 00:22:39 Mm-hmm, sure. Good luck. You'll need it. Oh, no, no, no, I'm not delivering anything. Are you, Liam Thompson? I am, yeah. I'm investigating the Stephen Seldon case. Oh shit, wait, uh, no, wait, let me record, let me record.
Starting point is 00:23:13 What, record? Yeah, I'm a YouTuber, true crime. Two sex. Did you actually see anything out there, Liam? Well, the video title says I did, but I didn't technically, it's just you get way more views if you say you spotted the... I'm looking for, uh, Frederick? Fred is in the pub. Surprise, surprise. Okay, do you know...
Starting point is 00:23:45 Look, if this is important, my love. Whatever he says is not true. He's an alcoholic. Right. And he's a wanker. Right. This man, this evil demon, came walking towards me on the boar, late night. Oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 00:24:20 He was grotesque. He was, he wanted me dead. Did you get a look at his face? I did. Oh, wow, okay. And I can tell you who it was. Stephen Seldon. His name is Stephen Selden. No. It was Sir Kier Sturmer.
Starting point is 00:24:44 The Prime Minister. That's the fella. No, he were tall. He were very tall, actually. Right. Long stride. Um, he were airy, proper airy. Hairy, okay. Um, like, not shaved for a while. Uh, so this was recent? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:17 And you said, uh, in the police hotline, you said he had big feet. Did I? Mm, yeah. Um, spotted by Jackford, wandering big foot in forest. Wait. What's that? Bigfoot. Yeah. Sorry, you're you looking for?

Listen, I don't think I ever want to be a local cop. Oh, people are, yeah, they're interesting. I'm really putting my two years of detective work to good use. Mm-hmm. I hope. I mean, I hope.
Starting point is 00:27:11 Oh, God, I hope. I've been to 11, no, 12? 12 houses, so far? Oh, boy. And now, number 13 on my list of credible witnesses. Oh, please be a lucky 13. Um, Miss, Miss Laura Lyons. She says that on the night of the 19th of September,
Starting point is 00:27:35 she saw Stephen Selden. Well, she saw something. In the night, a disturbance at Cleft Tor. So, kind of nearby, which is a little creepy. But that was a while back, right when he first escaped. I'm just I'm just going to try and get more information Hello
Starting point is 00:28:05 Hi My name is Mariana Metschazzurra I'm a private investigator From Spain Oh May I come in and talk to you about Stephen seldom Yes
Starting point is 00:28:18 Exactly that Of course come in I did tell them I mentioned it to the police. Ah, yes, I know. Then why haven't they come around here to ask me the questions? I'm going to share what you say with them, so we can all have answers that way.
Starting point is 00:28:34 Of course. He's a monster. Stephen is. Did you know him? Before the... Yeah. He was a bit older than me, but yeah. What was he like?
Starting point is 00:28:46 Quiet. Yeah? Stand office at times, but I remember him just going off in town once. At who? Nobody? Nobody. Yeah, nobody there. Nobody around him, just shouting, screaming, trying to punch some...
Starting point is 00:29:03 I don't know. Someone or something that wasn't there. Uh-huh. What he did to those girls? They were asleep in a hotel room. I know. What's the... What's the reaction in Spain?
Starting point is 00:29:19 Um... Pain? Outrage. things that are to be expected when such horrors occur. So sorry. It's okay. We have monsters too. I've lived here a long time, so I'm not judging.
Starting point is 00:29:40 Yeah. I love the British, even if sometimes you don't love yourselves. I also love your biscuits. Mine or Britons? Both. Where are you staying while you're here? I'm in a house nearby. That's another thing you guys do well.
Starting point is 00:30:03 What's that? Country houses, manors. Yeah, my partner lives in one actually. Oh, no way. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So you're a lady of the manor, huh? Very soon. Oh, that's a diamond ring, wow.
Starting point is 00:30:16 Okay, so soon to be, lady of the manor. Is there a title? No, no, no, no. Oh. Yeah, but it is... I'm very lucky. Good for you. Sorry, more boring questions. No, not at all.
Starting point is 00:30:34 So, on the night of the 19th, you said you saw a disturbance? At 11pm? Around 11, yeah, just before, I think. And what did you see? I was walking the tap stop right away. At 11? 11 at night. I was.
Starting point is 00:30:52 for work I well you don't you don't have to say it's okay yeah no it was I was in my car on my way back from work
Starting point is 00:31:03 and I let my dog out to walk where's your dog now hmm your dog the first dog I know not to come to the door
Starting point is 00:31:14 to sniff me yeah no he would have he would have but he's at the vet the vet of course oh Is he okay? Yeah, just a precaution.
Starting point is 00:31:25 Sure. So on the bride away, it goes around. I don't know if you know basketball hall. I'm familiar with it. So I was near, not that near, but yeah. Had my torch and I suddenly... So basically the land kind of raises up outside the front gates of the hall to Cleftor.
Starting point is 00:31:42 Yes, it does. I could see a light up there. On the tour? Yeah. So I switched mine off. Right. and I swear it starts coming towards me and at first I freeze
Starting point is 00:31:59 I'm just wondering if I should just jump the Baskerville wall and go tell Charles or just for protection hide there you know because I can't make it to the front gate by the time I leg it around that way they would have caught me this light this light coming toward you
Starting point is 00:32:20 Yeah. So I'm in darkness, and it eventually, before you know it, it's probably 30, 40 feet away. Wow. And I just ran. And I ran and ran, ran. And do you think that would have been seldom? It's the night he would have got out, right? Mm-hmm. No one's out in the Moors at that time. You were? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:46 You just came home after that? I did. Thank you again, Laura. This was... Well, hopefully this will be one piece in a puzzle that I can put together. Of course, yeah. And actually, can I take your number?
Starting point is 00:33:04 You've got a signal, have you? Well, I guess I could go into Tavistock again. Who... Who is that? That's me? When I was nine or ten, I think. No, that. There. That's raised me Barrymore. She was my childminder. Wow. Uh, no, yes. Um, I've met her.
Starting point is 00:33:28 Oh, to ask about her son. What? Did you quiz her about her son? Surprise her in one piece. Local journalist from Exeter tried the same thing. She gave him a black eye. Sorry, wait, wait. Who, who is her son? Are you serious? Going for a picnic? Gee! We knock in this house. You're very jumpy. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:34:05 Your husband made it sound like you had such a hardy nature. Did he know? Yes. He told me that you hadn't cried for 30 years. Yeah, well, I don't need to go blubber and whining to get my way. Good for you. Just how I was raised, love.
Starting point is 00:34:26 You popping out? Oh, is that the Selden family way? What did you just say? Does it run in the family? I'm just curious about how you formed such a good, hard-working, honest character. Look at you, working late. What is it exactly that you're doing?
Starting point is 00:34:48 Is that any of your business at all? Yes. How have you come to that conclusion then? Because I'm a private investigator. No, you're not. And you are not a cook, apparently. Yet I see a lot of meals coming and going out of this kitchen. And going where exactly, Rosemary?
Starting point is 00:35:10 I think it's time you got buggered off. Where is he? Frank is on a shoot. You know who I mean. I don't. Where is Stephen Selden? Where is your son? Don't you dare. Tell me.
Starting point is 00:35:25 You don't know. What? He's... I know what he is. You don't. If you're still here by the time I'm back, I'll get Frank to turf you out personally. Rosemary.
Starting point is 00:35:38 Rosemary. Oh, God. Mariana. You sure you check the right room, right? There's 99 others. I said she was ill, right? Yeah. Mariana, we're heading out.
Starting point is 00:36:09 Dinner at a posh manor house. The friendly neighborhood entomologist. He's a fan of the show. He's a fan of the show. Yeah, that would have come out. I've gone. You'll be cold tonight. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:36:56 How long can this go on for? I can't sleep. I can't eat. Oh, he's already gone on far too long. Then what in God's name do we do, Frank? Oh, let life take his cause. How can you say that? Well, not their experience.
Starting point is 00:37:13 The wisdom. Exactly. No experience. You don't know you. You don't know, you've never known. Shh. It's just the house. Are you sure? They've left.
Starting point is 00:37:25 Yeah, but that little Spanish one hasn't gone with them. Oh, God Almighty! You probably scared her off, my love. She's angry, Frank. She's so bloody angry. Let her be angry. Let her see where that gets her, eh? Hi, listeners. It's, um, late. And it's so, so cold. I'm going to, um, maybe, not, maybe not tonight, but tomorrow. I'm going to, um, maybe not tonight, but tomorrow. I'm going to take my chances with the Barrymore's. People, people, people, people.
Starting point is 00:38:16 like that they only react to force and uh whatever i do or don't do i just i don't know i want you guys and you john and you and you Sherlock oh and you Archie boy to know I did the right thing maybe not in the right way but I did the right thing And, um, in my, um, so my last piece of evidence, I've, uh, taken a video on my phone, too, so it's, uh, yeah, proof. The Barrymore's are sending light signals out onto the moor. I'm looking at them right now. I think I know what the signals mean. And I think I know who, therefore. I have seen, and I have observed, Mr. Holmes. I hope you're very proud.
Starting point is 00:39:26 I remember what you said to me in the retired color man. Follow the thought. Don't run away from it. It's natural to be scared when you know what you'll find at the end of it. My word is not. Evidence. There's is, which is why, tomorrow matters. Oh, do be quiet. Yeah, right back out you, Roseberry. I know it's you, I know it's you crying all night. How about you let me get some sleep? You feel you need it, do you?
Starting point is 00:40:18 Oh, with the monsters and the murderers? Yeah, I do, mate. It has been taken. He's not responding. Hey? To the light, he's not responding. Roseberry. What's happened to him, Frank? We suspect the authorities are caught up with him after all this time.
Starting point is 00:40:36 He needs me. He needs this to end. I can help with that. Oh, bloody gal! What are you doing here? Reach for your gun, Mr. Barrymore, and I will. We'll shoot you. Do you understand? You think you can just come in here?
Starting point is 00:40:50 Mr. Varymore, I asked you a question. Do you understand? You answer my questions truthfully. You comply, and you do not reach for that gun. If you do, I shoot you. Those are my terms. Frank. You talk the talk, don't you, eh? All that legal jargon. But you. You shoot me you're done for. I thought you were the clever one, hey? I'm not the clever one. I'm the boring one.
Starting point is 00:41:23 I read reports, type up spreadsheets and fill out forms. Yeah. And I handle guns, love. And you want to play my game, do you? On my turf? We are not playing your game. We are playing mine. Don't look like it.
Starting point is 00:41:40 I don't care what it looks like to you. I care what it will look like to the British courts. when you've been perverting the course of justice and assisting an offender. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Those courtroom chairs are uncomfortable. Even more uncomfortable for you, Mr. Barrymore, since you were shot in the dick and balls,
Starting point is 00:41:59 an act of proportionate force recognized in UK law by a Spanish girl who, yeah, reads reports, types up spreadsheets, and fills out forms. Where is he? I don't know. Yes, you do. He's not responding. To what?
Starting point is 00:42:19 Your light signal? Mm-hmm. Tell him to come to the house. No. Tell him to come to the house, Rosemary. Now. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:42:34 He'll understand this light signal. I think so. Mm-hmm. You've been feeding him. We have we. Fucking we. Frank. I haven't done a damn thing.
Starting point is 00:42:51 What, like go to the police? I was protecting my wife, not that freak. Frank! His father hung himself 20 years back. That should have been our first clue. So ashamed of what he'd raised. An heartrous little animal. When he was born, he didn't...
Starting point is 00:43:07 The cord was too tight around his neck and he didn't get the oxygen. Oh, do be your first. favor, Rosemary. It affected his brain, Frank. He hasn't got a bloody brain. Who are at hearts? He's a wicked little... It's a demon among us. That's what the judge said. They don't understand. You don't understand. I don't need to have no children to understand. The love you have for that creature, you call the son. It's eaten you alive, darling. It's eaten you alive. Frank. I mate over a dozen bitches a year. They carry him. They birth them. Then I sell em.
Starting point is 00:43:43 Do you think they are crying into the night, hmm? Do you think they sobbed themselves to sleep? No, no, they just get on with it. I'm not a dog, Frank. If you had half the sense those dogs have... I what? Then you would have grabbed that cord 30 years back and you'd have snapped his neck with it before he could draw oxygen.
Starting point is 00:44:02 You, oh, you bastard. You bastard! Don't try it, woman, don't try it. Jesus Christ! The law extends to protecting others too, Frank. Sit down. Sit down. Ashole.
Starting point is 00:44:22 He's coming. He's coming. I can hear him. Call him. What? Call him in here. Now. Sherlock. Sheldon. Jesus Christ, what you? Are you okay?
Starting point is 00:44:39 I'm all right. Someone's been shot, Sherlock. It's Mariana. No. Stephen? Stephen, love. Up here. Shh, who is that?
Starting point is 00:44:56 Rosemary Barrymore. Come. Why's going on? This way. Be vigilant, Watson. Yeah, I will, mate. That room at the end. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, what are you doing?
Starting point is 00:45:24 I'm going into the room. With the gunman? Gunwoman. What? I know the sound of my own pistol, Watson. Sorry, sorry, what, you said it was taken. Yes. But, sorry, who took it?
Starting point is 00:45:38 I'll show you. you. Knock, knock. Good evening. What the hell is going on? My thoughts exactly, Mariana. Where is my gun? Where is your cold? Where is Archie? Don't even tr- wait, yeah, no, where is Archie? Wiggins.
Starting point is 00:45:58 Oh, God's sake. I'll take that, thank you. Good work, Mariana. Case almost closed. Where is he? The killer, Stephen Selden. He has your nose. and your eyes, Miss Barrymore. I hope that's all you share in common. He's coming.
Starting point is 00:46:15 To the house. The night will have a morsel of salvation at least. What does that mean? Seriously, what does that mean? Mariana, I have some bad news, but I think we should talk about it in private. What, John? What is it?
Starting point is 00:46:37 I'll... Can we go talk? Where's Henry? You're lying. I haven't said a word. Your eye said it. They're still saying it. You're...
Starting point is 00:46:49 Whose blood is that? No. Mariana... No. No, no, no, no, no. I know. I'm... I'm so sorry. No, he's not. He's not. He's not.
Starting point is 00:47:02 Did Zelda do this? Did... I still did do that to him. John, I'm asking you a question. It, um, we think, well, it... It was the hound. It was the hound of the Baskervilles. You can't, you can't believe that.
Starting point is 00:47:27 You, you, of all people. I saw the remains, Mariana. It can be nothing else. When you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth. The fugitive arrives. Our blood and temper run high, but we must show reason, show constraint. Give me the gun, Sherlock. I can't do that, Mariana.
Starting point is 00:48:09 Sherlock, don't give it to her. Shut up! I'm taking this. Oh, you're off the rifle! Shut up! Not in the mode. Restraint. Restraint.
Starting point is 00:48:22 Shall we, Watson? We shall, Holmes. We shall. To binge this adventure in full and without ad, On.com forward slash Sherlock and Co. You know, Thank you.
