She's on the money.
She's on the money.
Hello and welcome to She's on the money, the podcast for millennials who want financial
freedom.
Welcome back to another one of our Friday drinks episodes where we get to celebrate the money wins
and sometimes the confessions from our She's on the Money community. As always there are so many
great wins in our community and a little bit later Ryan will run you through his favorites
but first up Toni Lodge. What did we do on this week's money diary? This week our money diarist
was well really have has come back from like a crazy story. She found out that her husband had
been cheating on her the whole time they'd been married and she'd worked really hard on on buying
investment properties that she then had to sell because she couldn't afford to buy him out and
so gross and now she's got three houses on her way to buying her fourth she's got um an investment
property which is like a holiday house that makes her 70 grand a year like she's gonna retire by
the time she's 40, like it's crazy. So it was a really, really great story. I love that. And
Jessica Ricci, what did we talk about on this week's Wednesday episode? This week we spoke
about bankruptcy, which is kind of scary sounding. I honestly did not know a whole lot about it
before we recorded this episode. And we spoke just a lot about the potential consequences and
the whens and the whys and the hows. Obviously it's a very personal decision. But more than
anything I suppose we also touched on the fact that it's okay if you're going through bankruptcy
or if it's something you're considering it's not a reflection of you as a person it's just an
experience that you are going through and that is completely fine if that's what you have to do to
put yourself in a positive position to put your best foot forward in the future then that's what
you need to do yeah I feel like it was a really powerful episode and I've actually had a number
of dms since that episode went live of people just asking me questions about that or saying
hey V thanks for talking about it I've actually been bankrupt twice or someone saying oh I've done
a part nine debt agreement I wish I'd known what I knew now and I would have never ended up in that
situation and it's so true but I think that we can't be harsh on ourselves because if we are
harsh on ourselves it's to no end like there's no point being upset about what has already happened
but rather going okay cool I've learned from that I'm a better person now I have more education and
the ability to change my life for the better. Like let's do that instead of being down about
what we've already done. So it was actually really nice to have those conversations in my DMs and
just knowing that we are having an impact, especially during lockdown. Like I'm not going
to lie, Tony, I have loved having those conversations and getting a little bit of
human contact during lockdown. But at the same time, I know that these are such important topics
to cover. And Jess, I remember you and I were like, oh, like, are we not addressing enough?
or are we addressing it too much or is this too dry? But I think these things are so important
to talk about, even if sometimes you're like, okay, like I'm not bankrupt. I don't know why
I would have listened to that episode, Victoria. It's kind of like, well, actually you might never
go bankrupt, but I'm sure that someone in your family or your inner circle might experience that
and how helpful is it to have that knowledge to go, actually, hey, I know you're going through
that, but here's some hot tips or here's a resource or here's what I know so that that
person feels a bit more supported. I genuinely think that regardless of whether it applies to
you when it comes to money, it's so powerful to just have as much knowledge as possible.
For sure.
So with that, Rye and John, let's lift the mood. What money wins have you got from the community
this week to share with us?
I've got a question, V. I know it's like tax return time and we'll get to that in a second,
but is it also, it might just be a massive coincidence, is it also time, that time of
the year when people will sit down with their boss and chat about stuff like the new financial year
because there seems to be a lot of stories with like i've just sat down with my boss for my yearly
or six monthly review or something yeah i've actually had a couple of my girlfriends call
me and say hi bae just wondering because obviously that's what my friends use me for i'm just
wondering um how would i start that conversation or last year my boss didn't give me enough time
to talk about it and just like breezed over it in 10 minutes but i want to have an hour conversation
and actually talk about my performance.
How do I bring that up?
And I feel like they're really abundant.
I think it makes sense.
Like us submitting our tax returns is kind of like the solidification
of exactly what we earned in the last financial year.
And you kind of look at it and go, oh, maybe I should review that
or maybe I should update or have the conversation.
But I think it is, you know, I think it's quite topical.
Well, this morning Nancy had her performance review
and her employer is giving her an extra 10% pay rise.
That is so much money.
Well done, Nancy.
I want a 10% pay rise, guys.
Well, you know the boss.
Yeah, I know.
She's so terrible.
I can't approach her.
Sarah had her chat as well.
She has just got her first full-time job recently,
so she must have finished university last year.
She's fresh into the workforce.
And this week was her meeting about how she's going during probation.
And she was supposed to do a six-month probation,
and she's only about three months in and they said,
hey, probation's over, the job is yours, well done.
Here's a pay rise as well.
You're doing such a great job.
Well done, Sarah.
Oh, that's so exciting.
All right, Ali has what she says, a money win and a yummy win together.
I love that.
So instead of throwing out the veggie scraps,
last night I added them to boiling water,
making the best veggie stock I've ever tasted,
way better than the store, and it made me feel so good
about not wasting all the food that's in my fridge and my freezer.
Genius.
What a good idea.
I saw this meme.
I don't know if I mentioned it to you guys last week,
but I saw this meme that was like, as soon as lockdown gets extended,
I immediately become allergic to any food that's in my fridge.
Yes, same, same.
But a way to do veggie stock more sustainably,
because obviously not many of us actually eat enough veggies
in one sitting to have enough scraps to make stock, right,
is like a big Ziploc bag or like one of those stash of silicon bags
in your freezer that you always add your veggie scraps to,
and then when it's full then you make stock because you've been stockpiling it for a while
so stock stockpiling um but if you want to do that you can absolutely do it you don't have to
always be feeding a family of 12 for the scraps all right well jay has a money win she said in
the last 10 months she's been doing a traineeship which has been earning next to nothing but she
knows it's an investment she's learning new skills it's fine she has just passed the traineeship
She's now been employed by the person training her.
So a massive pay rise and she now gets a car expense as part of her job.
So as well as more money, she was driving a lot with her own car.
They're like, here's the keys to your own work truck.
Well done.
Welcome to the team officially.
I love that.
How exciting for you.
Georgia says, so hairdressers, I feel like hairdressers more than anyone else
and probably the beauty industry in general.
When we're in lockdown, they are really stuck between a rock and a hard place
because they can't do much.
people can't come and see them georgia can't even pivot that well like you know how heaps of the
like restaurants and stuff are now doing takeaway food or like the provador boxes or whatever i just
feel like you can't ryan as you said before what can't you get takeaway haircut guys yeah i just
feel like you can't get a drive-thru you know can i get a wax for the road thanks guys you know what
you can do though so what can you do jess do we really want to know what have you been up to
Yeah, what have you been doing, Jess?
How have you been spending your time, mate?
No, I saw a local hairdresser doing this,
and I thought it was such a good idea.
So if anyone is a hairdresser, they're doing take-home dye kits.
So for, like, all their clients who are blonde, for example,
they give you, like, a little bowl and a brush
and your custom colour that you would normally get with them, pre-mixed,
and then they give you the instructions or a video,
and you can do it at home.
All right, for Friday drinks next week,
we'll all bleach our hair blonde for next week.
Oh, no, no, no, no.
sounds good sounds good do you know what even even if i was blonde i don't think i could trust
myself with that at all ever like i would mess it up and i would be bald so no for me i would
live with the regrowth all right well george just said that she was at a loss of what to do with
money she was a bit down in the dumps but her partner is a tradie and a tradie where you don't
need qualifications i think they do like insurance jobs where they like do repairs and stuff like
that and she went and started working with her partner and they're working earning heaps of
money together having a good time and she's like i'm making the best out of a bad situation and
i'm actually enjoying hanging out with the boys on the work site which is a bit of a change
quick one from sammy she said money win after four years of paying it off
my credit card is gone done dusted chopped up account closed thank you very much
how good is that imagine slogging away for four years and then be able to celebrate with the
community boom well done sammy holly is in canberra and she said we're finally in lockdown i feel
included nobody wants that holly yeah i know i like cute from canberra uh my old hometown it's
like when you're in high school and all the cool kids were getting braces so i wanted braces like
they're not cool they're expensive they're a money loss well holly says money win for me i've been
paying 11 a day on parking so 55 a week for years and now i'm saving that money and it's going
straight to my emergency fund so well done holly so good now one of my favorite money wins ever and
one of the great hacks of life i think is buying a present for your partner that you know that
you're going to get a lot of value out of yourself here i was thinking that ryan would say it's the
five dollar a day pretend you're not going to drink coffee hack oh hang on do you want me to
are you asking for an update b yeah yeah yeah how much is in your spaceship account so this is from
five dollars a day for not drinking coffee which i may be back on since since the new year right
Since the new year, I now have $1,645 in that account.
That's rich.
So Lauren bought her partner, in inverted commas,
a coffee machine for their kitchen as a birthday present.
Yeah, good one, bud.
She says, I swear he wanted it.
I swear, she says in the comments.
Now instead of paying $5.50 for a bought coffee every day,
I'm on the pods.
It's so much cheaper.
I make it at home.
It tastes just as great, and she's saving a heap of money.
So well done, Lauren.
Kate says, my husband buys a six-pack of muesli bars every week
to take to work and leave in the work car,
but this week his six-pack had seven muesli bars in it.
That is a money win.
And she's like, he's bloody stoked as well, says Kate of her husband.
Well, wouldn't you be?
It's free food.
Everybody loves free food.
Absolutely.
And finally, Sarah said, at the yogurt place called Yo-Get-It.
Have you heard of Yo-Get-It?
Oh, they're so good.
I think I know what this is going to be.
What are they, Jess?
It's like a little yoga bar.
Yeah, it's frozen yogurt, but I don't want to say it
because it'll spoil what I think her win is.
Yeah, it's like an ice cream shop,
but like for frozen yogurt and stuff like that.
Oh, frozen yogurt.
Here I am thinking you just got like Tubbs or Trobani or something.
I mean, they've probably got that option.
Cool.
Nice.
But they've got a competition at the moment called
You Guess It, You Get It.
And Sarah correctly guessed the weight of her frozen yogurt
and got it for free.
Yeah, that's an amazing win.
I think they have that most of the time, or at least they used to
when there was one near my work, and it's so good.
And if you get a really kind person behind the bar
when you're trying to guess, you'll be like,
oh, I think it's maybe like 400 grams, and they'll be like,
oh, do you really though?
That's nice.
Angle you in the right direction.
All right, and the final money win hasn't happened yet.
It is a future money win.
Oh, you can't claim future money wins, can you?
Well, you're about to when you find out what it is.
Actually, no, I did know about this.
This is absolutely a future money win.
Sorry, Ryan.
Someone from our group is going to win an iRobot Roomba,
which is incredibly awesome.
Now, I believe as well as someone from the group going to win one of these,
we actually have one in the office.
Jess and V won't shut up about it, so please.
Literally the best thing.
Literally, I named mine Jeeves.
I gave mine a name.
And anyway, Jess and I were talking to the people from iRobot and they sent me an iRobot
Roomba i7 plus for my house so that it could clean up after Lucy.
Because I cannot tell you, I had two cats.
So I was always like, you know what?
It's not actually that bad having pets in the house.
Like what do people mean when they're complaining about like pet fur being everywhere?
I now have a dog who doesn't drop any fur, yet my house is full of debris always.
Like I do not understand.
I feel like she just goes outside picks up piles of dirt and then just throws it around my house
I'm convinced when I have a boyfriend who's exactly the same yeah exactly anyway so I got
sent the i7 plus so this bougie little iRobot that has its own docking station and it like
even empties itself like Ryan I cannot even this thing empties itself and I just have to put it in
the bin anyway Lucy loves it my cat has stood on it I put that on my Instagram he's trying to do
that thing where he rides the Roomba around the house. When you say stood on it, you don't mean
crush it. You mean trying to catch a lift to the bathroom. No, he's been trying to catch a lift on
it. And we also got one for the office, which we have had fun, you know, just testing it.
And when I say testing it, sending drinks to people. Yeah, you can put drinks on top of it
and it goes to your friend. I'm not saying that that's it. It does a really good job of vacuuming
because Jess and I really like to eat chips at our desk and those are really crumbly. It is not
the point but really crumbly but we also tested it out by hiding bits of paper around the office
and then seeing if it actually got it and it did yeah so obviously victoria as always has gone for
the bougiest fanciest thing excuse me i didn't have any choice by choice i mean i asked for that
one but if you don't need the bougiest one like victoria does there are a whole range of models
that do very similar things in the office we've got the i3 plus and that empties itself i think
it's just such a time-saving thing it's obviously time-saving you guys it's not saving time if
you're setting up competitions for yourself to see if it finds paper in the office okay
anyway i named the one that i have at home jeeves because obviously jeeves the butler
makes sense and i've set it up and jeeves goes around the house and cleans the house so i don't
have to so that's time saving is it not ryan yeah that sounds good it's really great because
obviously it is a luxury product, but I think there's something to be said for when you think
about these purchases. And we see people talk about a lot in the group where they're like,
oh, I've been saving so hard, but I don't want to part with money. Or, you know, I want to purchase
this on, but I'm not sure. For us, this is very much like alleviating a mental load. And so when
you have so many people in the office, especially, or even as you were saying, be at home when you
have pets running around or people when it's not COVID lockdown, things build up. And I'm the kind
of person where mess really stresses me out yeah our office does more often than not become a bit
of a bombsite and being able we are very tidy don't attack tony and i like that we do our best
but like being able to use some of the functionalities so like with the room but you
can set it to clean at the same time every week so like we have our set to go around twice a week
on the same day and it just really makes a big difference knowing that that's one less thing
that you have to think about. And I think that if it's taking that mental load off of you and
making you feel better, it is worth the investment to me personally. And I'm so excited because we
get to take that mental load off of somebody else. We have one of the i7 pluses to give away,
the fanciest, bougiest, most insane robot vacuum you could ever think of. It empties itself. You
don't have to empty it. It literally empties itself. You just have to put the rubbish in the
bin i cannot even so we have a post up on our instagram if you would like to win definitely
go and check that out because you guys it changed my life it literally can i enter can i win the
no you can't win the robot i'm so sorry oh i wish that i could get a load i wish that i could give
everybody a roommate if i could give every person in this world a room bar i absolutely would oh
that's nice jess well not you tony sorry not me we love you tony we'll have a chat with my robot
about getting you one but not entering you in the competition because that would be grossly unfair
yeah that's fair okay yeah imagine it oh tony won the room
all right so i mentioned before it's tax return season lots of people are coming into a little
bit of cashola i've got a money win to share and it's a bit of a brag it's not like a q1 it's
legit all right what's your money win my tax return three thousand two hundred dollars why so
much money richie mcrich i think because i started a new job mid-year and i started it like this is
my second job rate so i started at the higher you know i was paying a bit too much for that
sort of thing thank you summer breakfast with kiss um so i got a little bit back um but i know
a lot of people via coming into a couple of thousand bucks or 500 bucks maybe money they
weren't planning on and are pleasantly surprised so i guess my question is when we come into you
know a couple of thousand dollars it's significant but it's not a go and buy a boat or a house type
of money but but so many of us want to go buy boats and houses and expensive designer purses
and things that we definitely wouldn't justify at any other point in the year because we somehow
think that our tax return is free money right isn't it well that i always get weird with this
because i think oh i've paid too much earlier it's just they're giving me money back and i'm
an idiot but i mean how you see a tax return is up to you but it's free money when it arrives
your tax return i feel like we're gonna have a different point of view from this side of the
table jess what do you do with your tax return usually um i went straight to my house deposit
fund okay she's smart tony what do you do with your tax
tony what are you doing with your tax returns um so this year it is planned to go straight onto
paying off the last of our credit card debt i haven't got it yet so i don't know so that is
actually very responsible, but normally I halve it. I go, all right, I'm going to have half fun
and half adult. But that's not free money. Like that's your money that you've overpaid and then
you get it back. It's literally your savings. It actually baffles me how many people like,
oh yeah, like I always buy a designer bag with my tax return. Aggressive language, Victoria Devine.
I am being aggressive because you have such an opportunity to turbocharge your wealth or your
debt repayments or create something that you didn't have before and i'm so sick of this you
know maybe i'm being a bit ranty today but i'm so sick of this treat yourself mentality and you've
worked so hard for 12 months and then you're given this opportunity ryan like you've got an extra
three thousand two hundred dollars and i know you're gonna be responsible for it and i hope
that that's because you work with she's on the money like i just hope that that's us like it's
tony it's jess it's i we've just had such a good impact on you that you're gonna be a responsible
or human this year but so many people see it and they're like oh my gosh three thousand two hundred
dollars to treat myself instead of setting themselves up for the future and so many people
are doing this even though they don't have an emergency fund or maybe they still have some
money on a credit card and it's kind of like the opportunity to give yourself or future you a leg
up and so i think tony you're genius using your tax return thank you very much you're welcome i'm
the poster child for financial responsibility so sexy i really like it we're gonna see that
on tram stops all around the city soon guys why is tony the poster child for financial
responsibility and i'm a loser because i decided jess i don't know
like jess is so good with money so good with savings and we all kind of look at her with envy
Like she's just a little money wizard. So no, you're not cool, Jess. I'm sorry.
I'm okay with that. No, you absolutely are. But Tony, I agree with you. Paying off debt is
so important and data from the ABS. So the Australian Bureau of Statistics actually
tells us that a really large percentage of Australian households currently have
some form of debt. So I think it would be quite smart to put yourself in a situation where you
could smash some of that down or put yourself in a more preferable position. And then if you don't
have any debt because as you guys know, paying off debt is an investment in itself. We should
be prioritizing that over saving, but the next one would be saving. If you don't already have
an emergency fund, I would be working on that. If you've already got an emergency fund, saving for
something in the future and putting it away for a rainy day, or even just fluffing up your emergency
account is amazing because you never know when you're going to need it, especially during,
and i hate this word unprecedented times but it's so true right yeah other people and this is kind
of like a double money when are you ready so some people from our community are kind of doing a
double money win they're getting their tax back and putting it into their superannuation as a
voluntary contribution that's great which weight you can claim on your tax return next year oh my
God. Genius. It's like the best kind of cycle. Exactly. The money cycle. Anyway, I feel like
this is important to understand because as we've spoken about before, it's actually super easy to
do voluntary contributions into your superannuation fund. You can usually be pay them or just transfer
them via bank transfer. I feel like people think that transferring money to your super is much
harder than it actually is. It's literally like paying a bill online. So that could be something
that you consider obviously this is she's on the money and i'm obsessed with investing so you could
start your investing journey or look at etfs or you could buy some shares or dabble with our friends
at sharesies like it's one of those things where you've got this opportunity to start creating
wealth and you know if you haven't had money before that you've been comfortable to allocate
towards investing maybe now's the time to dip your toes in the water or tony i think we also need to
give permission to people to treat themselves a little bit as well. After all that we've been
through, it has been a really hard year. So I wouldn't say no to people allocating a small
amount of that to some online shopping or a nice takeaway dinner or something so that they can
actually enjoy life as well. So I'm not saying don't ever treat yourself, but like let's prioritize
wealth creation. Let's prioritize looking after future us, but also let's not forget about the
journey that we're on now and actually enjoy what we're going through at the same time. Because as
always, it is not about the destination. It is about the journey. Thank you, Miley Cyrus. It is
about the climb. It is about the climb. If someone could sing that, that would be great. It's the
climb. Okay. I didn't mean that literally, but that was really nice. But that is where I'm going
to wrap my tax return round because I think that you guys are probably sick of hearing it. So
wrapping that up let's move on to one of my favorite topics of this month and that is
accountability august let's do a quick round table and check in with everybody ryan john how are you
going i was hoping you would not go with me first and then you looked maybe forget about it my
accountability august challenge was no uber eats for a whole month and i feel like the worst month
I feel like within six hours of that comment being made,
we were plunged into lockdown and, as we've said many times before,
we obviously go into lockdown and become allergic to any food
that's in our fridge or freezer and just want to order that.
It's a serious health condition.
I was going to say, you just don't blame it on allergies.
Yeah, like you can see a doctor about that
and they can diagnose you with fridulitis
when you're allergic to everything in your fridge.
I gave this conundrum to my dad the other day and my dad said,
oh, have you been in lockdown for the last five years then?
Colin is a forward thinker.
You've been playing it for a long time.
Thank you, Rodney.
But this is like the lamest thing.
I haven't actually ordered Uber Eats.
I've used every other app.
I've called the store directly.
I've used Bridget's phone.
I've like stubbornly been like, well, I've got a challenge on.
I need to use your phone.
Yeah, I know.
It's the biggest cough out.
And I'm not trying to say that I'm winning or doing well,
but I just want it to be noted that I deleted my app
and actually haven't used it since,
but I'm still definitely having takeaway three times a week.
So that's probably a D minus from me.
See, I was about to say, well,
have you at least been a bit more mindful about it?
But no.
No, absolutely not.
Last week I was mindful, and then when the extension
of the lockdown happened, I was just like, nah,
put a chicken burger in me, I am done.
So that's me.
so anyway jess have you got something better than my results i actually don't um she's gonna be like
i'm an angel i'm so good at saving look how much money i've made guys in your faces i really peaked
last week because i i i remember i said i made a lot of money i'm for everyone playing at home i'm
reselling things i have in my house obviously can't use marketplace because of lockdown but
i've been using depop to sell like clothes and unused beauty products and stuff like that
um and last week i really peaked and i had almost achieved my goal this week i have not sold a
single item which is really sad come on jess the week is not over we still have the weekend
you're within 30 or 40 dollars of the target for the month right so we're still really still on
track i'm doing yeah i'm still on track but it was really sad i even like put up a little thing
on the weekend being like oh if you spend over i think it was 50 i'll ship your item for free
you're trying to like someone's someone's listening to the business bible literally
jess is on sale guys jess would it make you feel better if maybe all the people that are in your
community are from she's on the money and they're all doing no spend months you can't sell anything
a couple of beautiful girls are from the community and have bought for me like oh my gosh like i'm
so excited i'm getting such a good deal it's a money win for me but that doesn't make me feel a
bit better that's so great that's almost as good as the fact that tony just snort laughed at her
own joke so um well done if that gets edited out guys i'm not having it we all know that's gonna
be in there i feel like i'm the one that usually snort laughs as well so you're welcome thank you
but not at your own job at your own gear very impressive um all right so jess is coming down
to the going to come down to the wire on sales tony where are you at um so i don't know if anybody
saw my post in the group uh but i'm doing very very well my accountability august challenge was
to do a no spend month so no discretionary spending outside of like rent and bills and
anything that legally i have to pay so we won't be buying beauty products from jess's depop
unfortunately i'm missing out of the deal of a lifetime on jess's depop yeah she's on sale tony
um but i did order some emergency grilled on the weekend
yes uh we would i'll say it again we're in a lockdown it absolutely was an emergency
thank you um so uh yeah so a bit of takeaway um which i feel like is a lot better than we
would normally be doing we'd probably definitely be tucking into the old uber eats during lockdown
to try and give us that serotonin boost um but we i haven't really been doing any shopping and
like i said i've been just staying offline basically um and not looking at things to buy
because that's when i just add to cart and i go oh that's only fifty dollars oh that's only twenty
dollars so i think yeah and i've just been so much more mindful it's like fully changed my mindset
around just buying stuff you're doing such a good job tony i'm so proud of you i'm so proud of you
as the only team member who's doing really well it's good no jess is definitely doing better than
me i think it's not a competition we're all just doing our thing it is just like we're all losing
like as the most competitive person in our team you cannot say with a straight pace that it is
not a competition because you came here to win jessica i can't play um v how are you going once
again taking your lunch into work right right right so the best loophole ever yeah like I win
guys but also really dismal this week if I'm honest so we went into lockdown and I kind of
pivoted what taking lunch to work meant and that changed to no takeaway for lunch and no ordering
Uber Eats and like I've been doing a bit of DoorDash and stuff like that so I was getting a
bit desperado last week and i actually had cereal for lunch two days because i couldn't work out
what to have from the fridge so i literally ate cornflakes and oat milk which is obviously i was
actually about to say as someone who can't have wheat carbs or dairy how does cereal go
i love the carmen's gluten-free muesli and i also adore the gluten-free cornflakes which i then put
sugar on top of because health first and also like lots of fruits and berries usually but this was
literally just cornflakes and oat milk because i was like a student and i don't eat noodles or
anything like that so it was really hard but yesterday i lapsed i think i was just done like
i'm done with lockdown i'm just over it in the same way that i think so many people are so i
ordered some thai takeaway noodles online good job nice look i'm i'm sorry but i'm not sorry
lunch to work so yeah technically I did but yeah I mean I think I've been doing well because
old Victoria would never have had cereal for lunch she would have absolutely gone out and
gotten something but I was like no I'm really committed to this like what's at home that I can
eat that's also you know while you're working especially at home I don't think I've been nearly
as planned as I would have been if I was in the office to take my lunches to work so I just feel
like cereal was a good option like cereal is a real lunch food right i think so yeah um but if
there's anybody listening that maybe needs a little bit of inspo around uh some food that
you can make and some budget-friendly little recipes we've got a bonus episode coming out
tomorrow which you're absolutely gonna love which has got um you know a special little treat coming
down maybe a little downloadable for all of our friends out there and if you're on it i actually
already put it on the website with jess so it's called good food good mood and we collabed with
our friends at my millennial health to write it but it's not only good food good mood it's all
budget friendly so i'm really excited about it and they did a really good job and we're super
generous by putting it together for us because as you know hear it she's on the money jess and i
literally love cooking but when we are left to our own devices i literally set the kitchen on fire
like that's no word of a lie video proof yeah it is on my instagram for those of you who are
interested so we actually need the professionals like my millennial health to come in and tell us
what to make um and a lot of it doesn't actually involve a gas burner so that's pretty good
um so if you are a bit strapped for ideas for lunches and for snacks and all of that kind of
thing then that's going to be perfect for you and our episode that's coming out tomorrow with
jess spenlove um she kind of talks about how you can eat good food to make your mood better and
how you can eat certain things that are going to make you feel better and not so crappy like when
we know we've eaten too much uber eats and we go oh i feel a bit crap about myself yeah and she gave
some really good lunch ideas on that episode and i absolutely did not admit to her that i'd been
eating cereal for lunch because i was like oh no i'm a god at eating good food i'm so smart and
And then, yeah, I pretended like I was already doing all the things
that she said were good to do.
Yeah, was good.
