Starting point is 00:00:00 As a traitor, that was harder than murdering. Watching people go at each other, knowing that they're all wrong. And that person, you're watching them ruin their experience. Could have fooled me, well. Ryan was hard. Amanda. Alecela. Here.
Starting point is 00:00:23 I look really gorgeous. I don't think you do. I think you look nice. And. Tell the people, tell the people the compliment I gave you yesterday, Al. I bought my hair. Yeah. Yeah, you said my hair looks thicker.
Starting point is 00:00:38 I think Al's hair looks bigger, guys. Yay! It's nice. We haven't seen each other in like two weeks, so you actually spot the differences. Spot the differences. Love that. Yeah, well, I've been doing naoxin religiously for a good while now, like a few months. and I do think it is making a bit of a difference.
Starting point is 00:01:01 I think it's working. Honestly, I do. Your sister said that your hair looked thin, which was rude. It's so rude. And she was just like, no, I just need at the ends. You just need the ends cut off. I was like, whatever, Jen.
Starting point is 00:01:12 It's too late. No, you've said it. But at Christmas, my mum said, your hair is, word for word, because she's such savage. Your hair has never been shiny, but I think I can see a bit of shine. I was like,
Starting point is 00:01:24 I'm such a bad counter. You've always had shit hair But today it lives a little bit less shit I was like Oh I don't know how to react to that one But thank you Well I live for compliments about my hair
Starting point is 00:01:42 I actually go looking for them It's the only area of my life That I go fishing for compliments Because I'm like I really want them Like I go and like just told hairdressers I'm like my hair's really shit Isn't it?
Starting point is 00:01:52 I'm like why am I doing this What I want them to say my head's really shit talk to me tell me that it isn't speaking of compliments your coat yesterday thank you oh my god it's so wait
Starting point is 00:02:11 until you see the photo shoot I did in that I can't wait for Christmas my mum got me the most amazing coat in the whole wide world it's from Charlotte Simone and it's just jazzy it was so yeah i felt like i felt very cool wearing it yesterday although i was wearing my i was wearing a little black dress underneath it which at the beginning of the pregnancy was like
Starting point is 00:02:37 reasonable length but as i've got bigger it's got shorter and i was very aware of how short it was yesterday i was like there's something going it really rides up when you walk um so i was like super aware of it in my coat i was like i must i must be a sight but oh well leaving yeah the coat is like it's like a super thin puffer right and it's long it's like a maxi coat
Starting point is 00:03:02 and then it's got this pink fur trim all obviously fake fur like fake fur trim on the sleeves as well it's so shaggy like sheepy I don't really know what type it is so cool so cool thank you we were very complimentary of one another yesterday and yesterday we interviewed today's guest
Starting point is 00:03:21 and this is an episode I mean I'm really so if you don't care about the traitors just you can stay for the good and bad and awkward if you want and then we completely understand if you want to fuck off but if you do watch the traitors you're going to lose your mind because it's oh my god so good i i don't want to say i've never enjoyed an interview so much because that's bold um but like i completely lost all sense of time and like where we were And I was just, like, so fascinated by this. Like, have you ever seen me so starstruck? No.
Starting point is 00:04:00 I've also never, no, oh my gosh, she was so starstruck. I was actually mortified because I was a bit late getting there. And this should be your awkward. Oh, good. So I was all good for you. I was like, what's she doing? When you and Jen were getting photos before we'd even recorded, they were like, can we just get a photo to send our parents, please, or sisters, or whatever.
Starting point is 00:04:20 And there was like, so we were all waiting for, like, me and Daisy, the producer Daisy and then the guy who runs the studio, we're all waiting by the lift at the light sisters are just hounding our guests for selfies. And it's like, I'll at least let them get in the studio. I know. It was, it was, because we watched it. And my whole family was so obsessed.
Starting point is 00:04:40 And I said to my mom, we were interviewing someone for the podcast today. And I'm not going to tell you who it is. But I like, don't get too excited. But keep an eye on your phone. And I'm going to send a picture. And she did. She loved it. She was,
Starting point is 00:04:56 she shied up a little bit. Yeah, she was excited. Oh, it was so good. I mean, they were amazing, but it was like,
Starting point is 00:05:04 and also just your child like glee, it was actually a joy to witness. Like, I think we could have a whole separate, like bumper episode video of just you looking excited in your chair, like leading so far forwards,
Starting point is 00:05:17 so many questions. I loved it. Great, Eamudy. You know how, I like obviously get obsessed with stuff and this one happened like right in the middle of my obsession it was just perfect it was just like so good so good it was good this is if you've been following me on Instagram and you wonder what I mean wondering why I watched I was like I just started the traitors on Monday and then on Wednesday I've just finished the traitors I had to binge it
Starting point is 00:05:46 because I knew they were coming on the pod and I was like oh shit like this is obviously like a cult thing because when I first mentioned it, everyone in my DMs, I had to watch it all. So I said, I couldn't talk to anyone. I've just been saying by watching episode. And I finished it like 20 minutes
Starting point is 00:06:00 before we got to the studio. Before I let. Like literally I finished it, got in the cab and came. So, yeah, it was hot in my mind. I feel very connected to these people. So connected.
Starting point is 00:06:13 I actually, I looked at something. I was like, I kind of miss Anna. Like, today's the first day. I'm not going to hear her voice. oh my god I love Hannah and she's so funny
Starting point is 00:06:24 so buggy funny we're going yeah she's a comedian we're definitely going I think she gigs like a fair bit so yeah let's go see her next yeah so was Will Wilford though as well he was brilliant just brilliant just loved it anyway that was definitely definitely my awkward
Starting point is 00:06:41 like now it's like the next day I've calmed down a bit I'm slightly ashamed but no loved it Great enthusiasm. Can't pretend to have chill. There you go. What's your awkward? I feel like yours is from yesterday as well.
Starting point is 00:06:59 Yeah, it is. It's like my whole, everything about yesterday afternoon was awkward for me. First of all, my skirt was too short. And then we went to Duck and Waffle for my Christmas lunch with our management. And it's my first time eating out in a while with my sickness. And I was feeling pretty good, actually,
Starting point is 00:07:17 when we did the interview. then I went to lunch and just dark and waffle is on the 40th floor of a skyscraper can I just say so I arrived at this blades and the lift is all glass so you can like see all of London when you're going up and now I'm an overthinker so when the people before me were getting in the lift I was like this isn't intimate like it's a very long time to be in a lift I'm going to let them go because already he had his camera out to like take a photo they were tourists like take a photo with her I was like I can't get in their lift like it's too weird if I get in and it It's like she's doing a little photo and they're experiencing.
Starting point is 00:07:51 I'm just going to let them get in their lift together. So I let them get in their lift and then I waited for the next one. And I was like ready to get in my lift. And then I got in my lift and I was ready to go and like do the same thing, probably a little selfie or something late. And then the delivery guy got in the lift with me. And I was like, oh, okay. And then we were just, and I don't know why it was just horribly awkward for like 40 floors.
Starting point is 00:08:13 And I was just like, oh my God, this has never been so loud. I don't know if it's because I didn't go out of the house over Christmas, like two weeks. But I just stood in a glass box looking at beautiful London with a stranger. Forty floors. It was horrible. I hate this. I hate being a human.
Starting point is 00:08:31 If we were dogs, we'd be doing something. A lift journey with someone you don't know is just painfully painfully awkward. Excruciating. I always talk because I just feel like I have to like I am like the most British thing. I'll be like, it's cold in it. You know.
Starting point is 00:08:48 If he'd have talked to me, I think I'd have punched him square in the face. Be like, we have, no, we do not have 40 floors worth of weather chat in us. We just don't. What are you delivering? What are you going to have for lunch? No, no. I was like, don't look at me, but he's still really close to him. Like, don't stand this close to me.
Starting point is 00:09:05 Let's go away. But then I think he was coming close to the view as well. It was just, it was a lot. Anyway, and then I had my lunch. Jen and April told them it was my birthday. Wasn't. I hate that. Taste of your own medicine.
Starting point is 00:09:18 I don't know. I've done that to you. I don't remember when I did this to me. Loll. And then I was so violently sick. And this is just, it's just embarrassing. Like, this is really gross. Sorry, if you've got emmative phobia or whatever, it's cool when you're scared,
Starting point is 00:09:36 when you don't like sick. But, you know, sometimes when you're sick and you're sick really loudly with the burps. I was being sick really loudly with the burps and the leaves really fancy and there's only two of them and they've got this sort of like fancy thin divider between them. So cringe.
Starting point is 00:09:54 Oh, bless you. My little sticky burps. I was like, oh, such an expensive lunch to lose as well. The perks are rough. It was so bad. You can't even, you can't do a sicky burp unless you're literally being sick. No, but they've got a kind of like croak to them. It's so bad.
Starting point is 00:10:16 I was like, oh, God. And you know, actually, normally I'm not a massive burper. So normally burps don't factor in. Normally I'm quite good at like a stealth sick. And I can just, but these were so loud. I think it's because I'd eaten like, but like April and Gem were taking the piss out of me for not being able to eat spicy food.
Starting point is 00:10:32 I'm like, I don't think you understand. I'm so fragile. I can't handle any flavor. So I'd even just had a bit of barbecue sauce. And they were like, oh, it's only got a tiny bit of kick. I was like, guys, you don't get it. I'm so weak now. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:47 Yeah, I think that's what caused the noise, the sound effect. That was just so embarrassing. Anyway, I can't go back. Going up 40 floors as well. That might not have a great effect. And then going back down again. Yeah, I can't go again to duck on. I can never eat there again.
Starting point is 00:11:02 It was lovely, and I will never go back. Those are the best kind of experiences. What's in a lifetime? It was like you're bad. I knew that was your awkward. Okay. You want to be good? Any bad?
Starting point is 00:11:19 Oh, my bad is that my dog is the biggest diva on God's Green Earth. I wonder if you did that. You what made her this way? Was it being on the side of a motorway in Cyprus? Or was it coming to live with Alex and Dave who spoiled over to within an hitch of her life? Like, oh, it's too. Answer two. I'm 100% entirely my fault.
Starting point is 00:11:45 but she's like developed I don't I don't know what's happened but she's developed this need to go to the toilet for a poo in the middle of the night and it's happened like periodically and we just kind of get on with it because it's it's only like once in a week or something now it's every single night every single night she needs a poo in the middle of the night so normally she sleeps in bed with us so the two nights ago we were like I said to Dave like can't do it because I can't like I'm anxious all night that she's about to get up and get down and she gets onto the wooden floors and starts tip tapping and then whining and it just like it bothers me and then I can't go back to sleep so it's like we're going to leave her downstairs tonight in the kitchen she's got her bed that she loves her bed we'll leave her downstairs um lol like I know this didn't end well the dog gets what the dog wants basically it's like the overarching thing of all of this so she obviously was like having none of that like absolutely no way so she bashed at the door so at first
Starting point is 00:12:52 she tapped the door and then she started bashing the door and then she started doing run-ups at the door and then run at the door and throw herself out the door and it was at 1.30 that Dave just looked with me and was like it's like the red hot chibi peppers are playing down there like I've got to go and get her so we had to go and get her like we we've got no control. over our dog and it is entirely our fault i know that but still fucked so what happens if you don't take her out she just wait just keeps waking you up she just whines she won't she won't stop she won't stop whining that's rough and she's just she's got you right where she wants you what's the outcome here the thing is we're so far down this road of treating her like a princess
Starting point is 00:13:39 that i don't know how to get off it i feel like you're going to need a professional to steer you away but I don't know where they're going to take you either they're probably just going to tell me to like grow a backbone it's intense when a dog body slams a door though honestly when Bista does it it's like oh my god terrifying it's a lot this is kind of cool but I'm glad they're smart
Starting point is 00:14:05 I know they are smart like super smart and she she knows as well she knows how to get her own way also also actually does anyone else I'm intrigued as to whether anyone else's dog fake sneezes because when Betty wants something or wants attention she fake sneezes and it's so clever
Starting point is 00:14:25 well because you say bless you get on tissue no she's just like she's looking at us and she goes like and then looks back up at us she wants attention she wants attention she wants attention it's amazing and I can tell the difference between a fake sneeze and a real sneeze it's so fascinating my favourite thing is when a dog sneezes themselves off their paws
Starting point is 00:14:44 Boer does it all the time. Like in the summer, like, she'll do a sneeze so big that, like, she, like, sneezes herself up her paws. Oh.
Starting point is 00:14:51 It's like, like, some of the, like, some of my legs all just like, ugh. And she just has, it's like,
Starting point is 00:14:56 oh, it's so cute. That is so cute. It's so cute. Like, I'm really sorry. Like, I think it must be hay fever, so I feel bad.
Starting point is 00:15:03 But, anyway, um, oh, I just love dogs. I'm sorry that you're never going to sleep again. I love dogs. I know.
Starting point is 00:15:11 I honestly just don't know what we're going to do. Like, enough for us to put her in a place that we can't hear her and also she's going to take the door down does she have a poo before bed no because she won't i feel like that's what you've got to do i think you've got to take her out into the garden and squeeze her like a tube of toothpaste you know what like she she's a well she's a hunting dog like by breed and so this garden has become her hunting ground and she's like guardian of the garden garden and it's painful like she wants to spend all her time out there she's like hunting nonstop
Starting point is 00:15:46 and she goes out there at night yeah she just she won't poo basically it's like she's not ready and Dave I think you've got to make her ready squeeze her she will just be like
Starting point is 00:15:59 get the fuck off me because I remember when we didn't have a garden and we'd have to like walk her before bed and there's just nothing we could do it's just like she's a little brat and like in her own time basically everything's on her anyway we've talked about better enough
Starting point is 00:16:14 Okay. Well, good luck with your future calamities. My bad is that I was betrayed this week by the two great loves of my life in the same day. Look at my arm. Alex and Bua? No. My air friar and my crooks. Look at my arm. Yeah, oh my God, I saw that. It burned?
Starting point is 00:16:44 my arm on my air fryer and like the searing heat of betrayal I've never felt anything like it I was absolutely devastated I was making my roast potatoes yeah so burn my arm because of my greedy little fingers couldn't help and I was just trying to get in there and just like get some of it out to be like oh delicious and I burnt my arm on the side idiot and then I was making my gravy and a spoonful a little bit of my gravy a little droplet fell off my spoon and felt into the whole of my crook. That made me feel so sick. What are the chances?
Starting point is 00:17:20 It's so precise. So, so precise. I was absolutely devastated. I was like, what the, after all I've done for you, I'm a proud cult member, and I've just been betrayed. So I was absolutely gutted, to be honest. We're fine.
Starting point is 00:17:38 I love that. Too great love for my life. no Alex and Boer are fine I don't know if I could burn you though well I mean it's really hot it didn't like stand up and be like breathe fire on me it just is hot you know
Starting point is 00:17:54 it's the same with anything anything hot can burn you if you is an idiot about it which I was so you put your hand in the drawer is that what you're saying no I don't have a draw for mine I have a lid and I lifted the lid up and then because I'm a greedy little bitch
Starting point is 00:18:10 um like i've been putting my potato great tip by the way i mentioned it before christmas and my dms went wild when you peel your potatoes to cook put the peeled potatoes in the air fryer bit of oil bit of salt bit of garlic nutritional yeast if that's your bag and you basically make these amazing crisps anyway so i was doing that because it's making my roast potatoes in the arm but then i was using the air friar to make my little snackies and then i was like oh yum really bitch, cut my arm in and then as I put my arm in, my hand in, my arm got on the side of the side of the thing. One might say that sounds you right. Oh, 100%. It's my own fault. I just can't believe it was allowed to happen. Do you know what I mean? Like, I just feel like I spend my whole
Starting point is 00:18:55 life defending the air friar at the one time I needed it to show up for me. It just couldn't. I was just so upset. You know what I've done for you. I know. I fight for you. literally every opportunity, whether it's relevant or not. You've been the best part that Air Fryers have ever had, truly. They still won't pay me. I'm like, guys. Made me get one, and now I can't live without it. Oh, music to my ears.
Starting point is 00:19:25 Daisy, can we have that, please? There's a separate sound bike that I can literally send to Ninja UK and be like, please hire me. They need to hire you 100%. Like, that is that too, D. Can we just have this whole clip? They do. It's, I can't believe it hasn't happened yet, honestly.
Starting point is 00:19:45 I know, I'm absolutely gutted. Maybe it's the burn, no, it won't be the burn. Anyone owes you, it's ninja. I know. I know. I know. I'm absolutely gutted. I'm like, what more do you want?
Starting point is 00:19:57 I'm borderline fanatical. It's weird. Anyway, yeah, that all crocs. I'm also patiently waiting for. the crox born i would simply perish i would simply die i would actually do i would fall to the ground and turn to a cloud i just oh m's deceased she's left this earth all that's left of her her stunning little gravy covered crox all it took was an email from crooks darling yeah um okay good good good we're we're manifesting this for you thank you so much
Starting point is 00:20:37 2023, give a big year. Yeah, I'm going to have a baby, but more importantly, Ninja are going to come the fuck through. Who cares? Yeah, boy. Boo. Yeah. We're a very great family already. Family of air fryers. No, the baby's going to be all over it. Honestly, you know, when they do like weaning stuff for kids, they do like soft little court, none of that. She is going to be having like air fried kale. She is going to love my sweet potato fries. Oh, I'll be air-frying breast milk.
Starting point is 00:21:10 Oh, I suppose that is, what would happen? It just warm it up, right? Obviously. I would know. It would probably burn it. I don't know. I'll totally give it a good. I'm actually getting a little for cholesterol in.
Starting point is 00:21:22 I'll see what I can do. Are you? Yeah, I found it last night. I was like, oh, my gosh. Just in the one net. And I was a bit like, oh, and I put a torch on it. God, my body's insane, but also, oh. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:21:36 Are the body? Oh, man. It's so cool. I know. Yeah, I feel this like yellow dot on my nipple. I was like, whoa. I was so cool. I thought that came in after you gave birth.
Starting point is 00:21:47 No, you can get it when you, I think it comes. I was Googling it yesterday because I was a bit confused. Basically, you can get it before you're pregnant. Not before you're pregnant. That would be weird. You can get it before the baby's born. And I think some people can get it from like 20 weeks. But I think generally it comes in like the latter half of the third trimester.
Starting point is 00:22:04 And then you can start a whole. harvesting it from 36 weeks, I think. And you basically, so I've ordered these syringes so I can do it. You can, yeah, I'm going to harvest it. So, like, I know a few people that did it. And then you take the cholesterol to the hospital. And then if your milk takes a little while to come in, you can use it, you freeze it.
Starting point is 00:22:27 And then you can use it on the baby for the first couple of days. Or, like, if you've got milk straight away or cholesterol straight away, then you can use it for, like, nappy rashes or, like, Stuff like that. Wow. I mean, I'm still learning. Apparently it's like gold. Apparently it's like liquid gold.
Starting point is 00:22:46 Get it out the way so then the milk. No. It's the precious bit, yeah. So I've got these syringes, so I guess I can stop doing it in a minute. Oh, that's fun. Yeah, I'm actually really excited because that, like, fulfills every one of my, like,
Starting point is 00:22:59 Dr. Pimple Popper, like, fantasies. I'm like, wow. You mean I get to syringe up, like, yellow, stuff from my own body sick that's fun yeah my easing nipples oh gorgeous yes i was really bang gorgeous m's easing nipples title of the of the episode brilliant never mind the traitors i've got easing nipples and hairy bum hole sorry i'll not anymore not anymore oh my god al i forgot to tell you i had a wax over Christmas, I had a wax over Christmas, and, um, okay, so when the last time
Starting point is 00:23:40 I had a bikini wax, I put Brazilian, whatever it's called, like, my pews removed. The last time I did that, I could do it like a normal person and I could just lie on bed, but I've got to the stage of pregnancy where you can't do that. So do you know how they do the bomb hole? How? You have to stand up and bend over the pants. No. No. No. I'm just refrigerate you. own cheeks. I was so undignified. It was so undignified. And it was at home.
Starting point is 00:24:08 It was my mom's house. I was like, if somebody comes in now, I can't exist anymore, I'll have to move out. No, it was obscene. It was obscene. Wait, you stand, you bend over a little bit
Starting point is 00:24:21 and just spread your... Not a little bit. You're bent over like a fucking right angle. You look like a table. I was bent over her bench. Oh, it was honestly, I felt like a cow. It was so bad.
Starting point is 00:24:34 It was so bad. It was so bleak. And then she's like, and then just spread them. I was like, oh my God. I do the rest. Well, normally, you just kind of lie there and you just kind of work it out. Like, you pull a bit. It's just, it's kind of normal enough.
Starting point is 00:24:48 Like, I can't see shit. But, you know, she just tells you what to do. You just, you know, help. Because you have to pull the skin quite tightly and stuff, which is fine. You know, like, you just, whatever. But the bumhole is a whole new experience. Very bad. That's so good.
Starting point is 00:25:03 It's very bad. I also, I was like, look, I can make this work. Like, I can make the other, like, please give me a chance to try, plan A. But I'm very flexible, even in this late stage. Like, just give me an opportunity to prove myself to you. And she was like, no, no, this will just be easier. It's like, prove myself to you. It was horrible.
Starting point is 00:25:27 So I'd like put my whole bumhole in this random woman's face. gorgeous gorgeous girls get their bum holes waxed honestly some people are just like God's favourites and that one really wonderful 100%
Starting point is 00:25:45 what a lucky gal well on that note no Al you didn't tell me anything good oh shit my good is that I drove the car longer than 10 minutes I actually drove it for an hour I'm so proud of you
Starting point is 00:26:01 I can't believe he did this. Parked at a car park. Okay, but I went on multiple motorway roundabouts, which scare me more than anything. Like, I can do the most... She drove to London, guys. It's the roundabouts, yeah. I did.
Starting point is 00:26:14 I drove through London. Yeah. I'm so proud of you. I mean, I had my sister in the car with me. I couldn't do it by myself. There's absolutely no way on this entire earth that I could do it by myself. But with someone else,
Starting point is 00:26:27 I honestly don't understand how people can do it and do it by themselves and keep an eye on the road, keep focus on the road, and then also where they're going, and then also not try to, like, bump into people. I just don't, I don't get that. I feel like trying not to bump into people. It's like, like, the rule.
Starting point is 00:26:47 I feel like that shouldn't be number three. No priority. Things to do, yeah, that's number one. So hop on the agenda, no bumping into people with your car. fair you've got a point but those motorway roundabouts you know what I mean you know the massive roundabouts
Starting point is 00:27:09 there's like seven lanes and it's just chaos and like the lanes aren't clearly cut and you don't oh I just I absolutely hate it and then I've always got in my mind like what if someone's in the blind spot but then if I keep looking round
Starting point is 00:27:24 like maybe I will bump into someone because I lose my eyes up alone I'm saying bump into like I don't see in the history of car accidents particularly on a motorway roundabout anyone's ever called it a bump okay so I crash
Starting point is 00:27:42 when you say bump into someone do you mean like another car or a human a car it's like dodgums like you saw you doing dodgms at my hair and it was a disaster that's a glimpse at what I'm like driving there's something of the thrill seeker in me
Starting point is 00:27:58 that just wants to sit in the passenger seat with you driving all I want now I remember when I drove Dave we drove like yeah like an hour I think and he was white completely white and he was he hadn't been able to go on his phone
Starting point is 00:28:15 the whole time he wanted to like catch up with WhatsApp and I said at the end like why didn't you you know he was like I couldn't take my eyes off the road out I was like oh bad times maybe I should have got you a driver's refresher course for Christmas I just don't know if that would me well maybe I think the problem
Starting point is 00:28:30 is confidence. Everyone's saying it's confident. Yeah. 100% because I think you can be the baddest driver in the whole wide world as long as you do it confidently. I've got no issue with bad drivers as long as they're decisive, but nothing worse than a flapper. And I am a flapper's worst nightmare because I am right up there bum hole like, come on. You would hate me. You would hate me. I am the ultimate flapper. Ultimate. I'm a horrible London driver. Like, and I think London drivers are a specific breed of just like I'm going to go here and you're going to have to help you're going to have to let me in and that's just going to be how it's going to go and it just does I'm the person who just like let's you in let's everyone in like on the motor
Starting point is 00:29:16 there's a bit of traffic and like people were coming up the inside lane to like get in my lane and I was just letting everyone in and Jen was like fucking stop it I was like but what if they who else is going to let them in but but but out out you can't think like that every man for themselves yeah yeah maybe i should be a driving instructor maybe i should be your driving instructor maybe we could do a confidence course that sounds so fun this sounds so fun oh my god oh my god ideas that like sounds really good and then the reality is quite painful we'll have a horrible fight but oh my god let's podcast it let's do the next good bad and awkward from your car actually just for safety purposes should we wait
Starting point is 00:30:00 until I'm not, like, super pregg. I feel that's going to add to the pressure for you. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. Wait until it's just my life in your hands. No, we're not going to have her in there. Just me and you. Just me and you.
Starting point is 00:30:12 When she's out, we'll do it. Me and you and a mic. Oh, my God, it's going to be so good. I'm so excited. I can't wait. I can't wait. Oh, my God, amazing. Why you drive to my house?
Starting point is 00:30:22 Then we'll drive to your... Oh, we can go anywhere. The thing is... Let's go do spaghetti junction. In the car with me to drive to your house. I'll come to your house. and then we'll both drive everywhere. Oh, it's going to be amazing.
Starting point is 00:30:33 It's going to be stuck. You can drive my car. Absolutely not. It's too high. My good, just before we get into the interview, is the reason that I had my bum, well, it's not the reason that I have a bomb haul wax, but it did chivie me on to do it quicker.
Starting point is 00:30:51 This sounds obscene now. I think we should take out the bomb hall reference. The reason I had my bump. And I was like, okay, sex. no no um i went to go and see alex cameron the amazing photographer and we took some bump photos and i've put some on instagram already and i haven't got the rest of them back here but i'm so excited because we took a bunch
Starting point is 00:31:14 and i'm so excited and she didn't take any of my bomb hole i feel like i need to just really those photos i gasped when i saw that they are so good and the outfit that little free people up and the and the and the trainers with the trainers they looked so and the socks so good thank you i was really yeah i was like this is a vibe i mean i do look like winning the poo but like a hot one and a pregg one honestly it's such good photos yeah i would have to see the other ones because there's more me too yeah there's more i can't wait i'm so excited um so that was amazing because i think like i felt so weak and shit and kind of horrifying during pregnancy. So to look at that and see like when I got
Starting point is 00:32:01 that image, I was like, oh my God, I can actually cry because I look like so strong and powerful and beautiful. Like I just loved it. So. Let's get it like printed. Oh, this house is going to become a shrine to my pregnant body. I swear to God. Um, yeah, no, I'm not going to make any apology for that. Anyway, it's time. Oh my God. It's time. It's time. We have waffled on for long enough. Goodbye to everybody that hasn't watched the traders. Yeah, thanks. Yeah, I'm so sorry. But come back next week.
Starting point is 00:32:31 Yeah, come back when you've binged it in three days. Yeah. The American one's out soon as well. And I'm going to leave a link for the Australian one. I'm watching the Dutch version at the moment with the titles. No, that's a step too far for me. It's actually quite tough because they all talk over, and I can't tell who's talking because I'm not there yet with them.
Starting point is 00:32:52 And I thought, I'll be able to be able to be. I was not there yet with the darcher. I was like, oh, I know a bit of German. I'll be able to pick it up. I have not picked anything up. Riega. She did not pick it up. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:06 But I think everyone knows by now, right? We've got Hannah and Will from the traitors. That's who we're interviewing today. It was so good, so good. Like so many are just fascinating to learn behind scenes and also talk about their experiences. And are they still friends, guys? Who knows?
Starting point is 00:33:25 I... Oh my God, stunning. I love that. I was going to say something and I'm not going to say it now because I like that you've just teed everybody up. Okay, okay. Who knows?
Starting point is 00:33:34 Find out. Keep listening. All right, guys. It's so good to be back. Happy New Year. We love you loads. We will see you next week. No, we'll see on Thursday.
Starting point is 00:33:43 See on Thursday. Bye. Shake, we've got so many questions. Oh, my God. We've got so many friends. I'm going to be a good friend, though, and I'm just going to let I'll take the reins because I've never know you do.
Starting point is 00:33:54 We have, we have, okay, I sound really sad, but it's true. It's actually true. I'm so excited. Today we have in the building, it's kind of weird when we say that because it's not our building, but we have here with us, Hannah and Will, Will, Wilf, Wilfrid. Whatever, Wilf after her dog. Like, that's what it's. Will. Love that, Willf from the traitors. Wilf after Hannah's dog. Yeah, basically. You guys have had a crazy time, right? Because, so it was like, I feel, I feel. I feel like it came out of nowhere, the show. I didn't hear anything about it. I feel like I didn't even see any marketing or anything. And then suddenly it started to air and it like picked up and like really like picked up traction. And then everyone was like, have you heard about the traitors? Oh my God, are you watching the traitors?
Starting point is 00:34:37 Al mentioned it on the podcast last week. And then everyone's DM, like our DMs went insane. Your DMs went insane because you offered an illegal link to watch the Australian one. And then everyone was DMing at being like family. I was like, oh, if you want it, just DM me. And I was like, I'm majorly regret that. because it's like, please, please, please, please, please, please. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:34:57 So good. It was so good. Like, I'm still not over it. I'm still thinking about it. For me, it was so strange because, like, like, the first week, it weren't, like, we knew it was going to do okay. Like, when we was filming it, it felt special. It was like, oh my God, this, like, the production stuff.
Starting point is 00:35:13 There was, like, over 200 of them or something, weren't they? And they were everywhere. And that was just like, they've put money into this. This is good. Like, because at first, it's like, yeah, I'm just going to Scotland. And then you're like, wow, they've hired every. car in Inverness. They did. They hide. There was no car cars left. We all had to have our
Starting point is 00:35:27 individual cars and stuff, right? So like they hide out cars, they hide at everything and we was just like, cool. And then the first week, it aired, it was sort of like, cool, got some traction because it was after the World Cup and stuff. And then the second, like the second and third week, I was actually sick and so was my wife. So we was ill, didn't go out or anything. So, and that's when you came
Starting point is 00:35:47 around and gave me your lurgies, right? You came around to watch you want to the episodes. Well, I think that's a little you deserve. It's a least you deserve. You can have my germs, your bell-end. She came over and infected the house, yeah, and then everyone took for like two weeks. And then the last week, yeah, I was like, I'm going to do some Christmas shopping.
Starting point is 00:36:05 I've just got better, went into Enfield Town where I live, and then it was just mad. And I was like, oh my God, that's when I realised, oh my God, this show's nuts. Like, people just wanted pictures all the time. I had to send my wife off shopping. Like, I felt really bad.
Starting point is 00:36:17 I was like, babe, like, just get on with it. Like, because she was like trying to Christmas shot, and then there's me just taking photos of everyone. And then I'm like, go on without me. Yeah, I was like, go on without me. Go on. But yeah, it was just really mad. And that's when I was just like, yeah, this show is big, man.
Starting point is 00:36:30 Like, I didn't really realize to all that point. Because I was saying to you, I was like, do you think people have forgotten about us? And she went, no, they're definitely not. And then I went out last night. And yeah, it was nuts. Like, yeah, they haven't forgot. You said in the beginning that you were just going to go up to Scotland and, like, do this sort of show.
Starting point is 00:36:43 But like, how did you hear about it? How did you both, like, sign up? Like, what did you think it was going to be? I say, so basically my story was, like, I was supposed to be on the circle, right? Oh, yeah. Yeah, so I lived in Manchester. Like, I was cast it for the circle, but I didn't get into the actual final thing. I was supposed to be one of the last people come in, series three.
Starting point is 00:37:01 And then after that, like, obviously you get messages from Studio Lambert and stuff. And they sent just a poster. Like, and I looked at it. And I was like, cool, I'm going to contact them and see what it's about. And just like, look, what is this? And then they explained, explain what it was. and I was like, I'm going to, yeah, I'll apply then. Like, do you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:37:21 So I applied. It's not really, do you know what? No one really knew what we was doing. Like when we got there, it was just like, we understand the concept. But when they told us, they were like, right, going to reality, guys, we're like, what do you mean? What do you mean? They're like, just go do things and we're like, the first day, it was so awkward. Oh, it was stressful.
Starting point is 00:37:36 So we like, what did we just sat there. And one point that we was like, they're like, there's too many people in this room. Can you all disperse? There's too many people in it. And then we were like, okay. and then they were like, no, can you leave naturally? And I'd do it on purpose just to wind them up. I'd be like, sorry, guys, I need the toilet.
Starting point is 00:37:50 And they're like, we'll just get out, man. I had to do it on purpose. I was like, I have to leave now. And they were like, just a little bit less sarcasm. How'd that'd be great? And I was like, I obviously call that. That is so awkward, though, isn't it? Just like this bunch of strangers.
Starting point is 00:38:03 You're all complete strangers. And he's like put in this castle. Apart from Alex and Tom, they weren't strangers. They knew each other. Oh, yeah. Did anyone, oh my God, this interview is going to jump around. I'm so sorry. fucking much.
Starting point is 00:38:14 No, no, it's, it's because we're so excited and we've got so many questions. Did any of you, did anyone have any idea that Tom and Alex knew each other? Not. A clue. No. No idea. And I was like, everyone was like,
Starting point is 00:38:25 oh, why were you so annoyed? Because the game was about lying. And I love Alex. I do love Alex and Tom. We go on really, really well. Yeah. But at the time, when you're in there, and it's so insulate.
Starting point is 00:38:34 Like, we were always kind of, we were always kind of hugging and touching each other because you weren't allowed to meet to your family. You weren't allowed to speak to anyone else. You couldn't get that close to production because they knew things that you didn't. So, When Alex, when it came out that Alex and Tom had lied,
Starting point is 00:38:46 I was like, but you started this months ago. Like you've come in, we're just pawns in your game. And then when Tom accused me, I was like, I'm not having this. Not a chance, you bastard. So John actually came into the breakfast and accused me. Do you remember? And they didn't show that, but he accused me. And then I started crying, yeah?
Starting point is 00:39:03 Because me and John were quite close. And then afterwards, I did a MIF, right? I did like an interview, like the diary room sort of thing. And I was like, John betrayed me. And then I was like, but that's what I'm doing. I was like, what am I crying for? And then, but yeah, he, so all the heat was like, sort of on me. And then, and then the reveal of who's on trial.
Starting point is 00:39:23 And then Alex and Tom just took all the heat off and accused everyone else. I was like, this is brilliant. I'm off, I'm off now. I mean, Tom went for it, didn't he? He put on quite the show. If I was Alex, I'd have fucking killed me. I'd have been like, what are you doing? Sit down, shut up.
Starting point is 00:39:37 That he was like, I'm a magician. I can read people and then just like, completely. It was so. Who was it that he said, he said, Ivan. me and 11 I think for a lot of that day I was very close to getting banished and then I think
Starting point is 00:39:52 I think it was Faye actually that said I'm not voting for Hannah because I know it's not her but I'll vote for Ivan and I was sat there at the round table like Ivan if it should have sweated God I'm gonna end up dead tomorrow and I was like please don't be
Starting point is 00:40:03 please don't be please don't be please don't be please don't I was so terrified because I knew if he was it was only a matter of time until I was gone I can't believe how like listening to you now having watched it like it's so were real we were saying before we recorded
Starting point is 00:40:15 like obviously no one's actually murdered but it kind of is like yeah because you don't see them again the other thing was that we'd become so like I say because we had to rely on each other to have and I think it was probably harder for the traitors in that respect because when you're not filming or when you're in holding or something you go back to being
Starting point is 00:40:31 just you and you find out about each other's lives and you bond so quickly and then to never see them again and then also be like but we're having but the experience was so good and we were having such a good time I mean the money didn't even The idea of the money was like you've got to be so lucky to win it
Starting point is 00:40:47 there's more chances to win in the lottery because there are so many different nuances and so many different paths it could go down like if you get murdered who'd you make friends with what you do any decision could change the outcome so the money never really came to the forefront of my mind
Starting point is 00:41:00 until literally we were at that final round table and I was like oh my God we could win this and it never considered it before so up until then none of us just wanted to go because we were having such a good time and it was like we put I mean I went in for exposure to be fair for comedy.
Starting point is 00:41:14 Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I was like, and I'd quit my job, my day job just before. So I was like, if I go in, I get murdered in a couple of days, this is all been for nothing. So I wanted to stay in for that, but also it was so fun.
Starting point is 00:41:25 We had, we love, it was non-stop laughing. I mean, it looks so serious on the show and it was in those moments. It was all real. It's so strange because, like, what Hannah's saying is like, we're doing mission.
Starting point is 00:41:35 Yeah. And then you'd have, like, they'd call it on ice. So it's like a part where you can't talk about the game or anything like that and you just sit, like whilst waiting for cars or whatever. And then we just literally used to just have a laugh
Starting point is 00:41:46 And like for one example We're all laying there It's really sunny Maddie's laying on my legs Like I'm laying on Andrea And then like 10 minute Like like half an hour later Maddie's just going at me at the table
Starting point is 00:41:57 And it's just like It's so weird Because it's like We were all really close And everyone's like Let's do a reunion I'm like You're not gonna see anything about
Starting point is 00:42:04 About us just like cuddling Like it's so weird Because everyone wants to see a reunion Because there's still bad blood But there's literally none So it's strange Yeah it's a bit like I was
Starting point is 00:42:13 watching, I finished the episode I finished it all today this morning just before I got here and Al had said that you, that both of you would come on together and I was like, how the fuck is this going to work? And I was like, are they going to come in together? Like the atmosphere is going to be horrendous.
Starting point is 00:42:29 And then you have taken all the money. I was like, this is going to be awful. It's going to be like, couple of counselling. The thing is, Wilf played the game because I desperately wanted to be a traitor when I went in. I was so desperate. Did you? I think you did have been a really good traitor.
Starting point is 00:42:41 Because the idea of not having that control over who was going to get murdered. I was like, I'd get voted out with the round table because I look suspicious. Yeah. Fine. But I felt like if someone murders me, I was like, it's so unfair. Like, so I really wanted it. But I would have played it the exact same way that he did.
Starting point is 00:42:55 So I genuinely think if you'd have won it. Yeah. I would have just been like, I fair. I played as a faithful though. I can't say for sure because I don't know. But I was so, in the way like at the end, I was just, even when he said he was a traitor, I wasn't mad at all. I was just so happy that he kept his in.
Starting point is 00:43:11 Yeah. Because if he hadn't. But like I said, there's so many different things because everyone's like, oh, he was going to take all that money and I was like, but we took all the money. For me, like, it weren't even about so, like, it's so strange because when I got that far and I was like, it weren't even about money,
Starting point is 00:43:27 it was just like, look, I've gone through so much shit, man, I just need to like get through it. I just need to win now. It weren't even about money. It was like, I've gone through so much. I've literally betrayed everyone that, like, I just need to get out of that last hurdle. And then when it happened, like,
Starting point is 00:43:39 when you're getting through to them last stages of murdering people, you start thinking who could who would like who would I not mind losing to like that's what was going on in my mind and like Meryl I kept Meryl in just for the fact as she was a vote like she would always vote with me and she had absolutely no idea what was going on she still doesn't believe I'm a cheater she said to us the week before the show was coming out what dates are coming out again yeah yeah it's about two days man see I'll ask the most ridiculous questions in the group chat and you're just like I'm not answering this Meryl I can't like Google it like you know things you just Google she asked you ask you ask you in the group chat. I'm like, just Google it. She's so funny. Or she's FaceTime. Yeah, or she FaceTime.
Starting point is 00:44:17 Yeah, or she's me. And then, yeah, so you think, and then with Hannah, it was like, literally because we were like best mates. I was like, I would not mind at all. Like, we got on so well, we had so much fun. And then Aaron, he just, like, in the last moments, like, because we, Aaron got into our, like,
Starting point is 00:44:32 friendship group quite late on, right? Because he was with the youngans. And then when he kept, like, he's speaking about his mom and they're not, like, it's the nicest guy I've ever met. Like, my daughters, yeah, I say to him, if my daughter's met a man like, that when they're old, like, I'll be happy.
Starting point is 00:44:43 Like, he's the nicest guy I've ever met. He's literally the nicest person. Like, none of it is put on. Like he's a vegan. Yeah, yeah. He's just, like, the least vegan he burned, yeah. Yeah, yeah, he's, like, because he's so, like, toned and stuff.
Starting point is 00:44:55 You just think he's, and he's beautiful. You just think he's going to be a bit arrogant, but he's not, he's a lovely person. When we was filming, you know, the one with maggots? Oh, this is so funny. I don't. I wish I was 10 years younger. I wish I wasn't right now.
Starting point is 00:45:08 Me and Aaron and, like, when we were, we had murdered, like, fall asleep together on the sofa and I could hear people going They're murdering They're naked They've been up on that murdering We're like okay We've got loads of energy
Starting point is 00:45:18 We're ready That's how paranoid people they were Like if we like Knapped or anything They'd be like Yeah they got home late And people started asking you weird questions like
Starting point is 00:45:26 So obviously when we went back To our lodgings It was quite late But you'd like watch telly or something And people would be like What did you watch on telly last night Yeah Like do I mean
Starting point is 00:45:35 Like trying to And you're like And for me I was like Family Guy You know the really funny episode Like I didn't watch nothing I was just like, oh. Because I bet that it takes a bit of time to do the murdering
Starting point is 00:45:45 because you've got to travel back. Yeah, yeah. So, wait, where did you stay? You stayed in the castle. We stayed in the castle. Yeah. So we had to like come out and then like go around, hide. But we had to wait for everybody to believe.
Starting point is 00:45:57 And then, and don't forget, in Inverness and the time we were there, it didn't get dark. So you know like the last, the episode where we get rid of Amanda and we come out and it's still light? That was like half 10 at night, weren't it? Yeah. It doesn't go dark to the midnight. So we had to wait to do all the traitor scenes like where we were, walking through with the lanterns and stuff. It's like to really late, then film the traitor stuff.
Starting point is 00:46:15 So I was getting back about three o'clock. So I was like, and then being up for like seven, but you can't sleep anyway because you're just paring away. That's the thing. You couldn't, even, even though you weren't up that way, you got back, you got in your life. Were you all living lodging? Yeah, we're all separate, yeah. Like, the production of the whole thing is very much how it looks.
Starting point is 00:46:31 Like, there's no, there was no overproduction. There was, like, they kept it so super. Can I ask one thing about the production, though. There were these occasional scenes where you'd be in your room and like someone like Alex was running a bar for. Oh, yeah, that was all of it. That was like reading a book. We couldn't possibly say.
Starting point is 00:46:46 Whatever you were. I really hope for their sake they did it all in one night. And it wasn't like every night. Like, okay, we're just going to film you before you get in your bath. Yeah. And Abbas, Abbas, can you get in that shower for us, please? I want to know how, when you're murdered or banished, when do you get told who the traitors are? So, so this, so I think we can say this.
Starting point is 00:47:07 So it was all a secret. Like, we weren't supposed to, no one was supposed to. no one was supposed to know who the traitors were. And then obviously when you leave the production, everyone's going to make some kind of WhatsApp group, right? Yeah. And I think that's what happened. And then, like, somebody went in and was like,
Starting point is 00:47:22 are like, these are the traitors, like, because that person. I think people kind of got, I think the WhatsApp group was started. And then people, as people were coming out, whatever they'd say, it would be, they weren't specifically saying, I was a traitor or so, so, so, straight. But whatever they were saying, people kind of assumed. But I know that Nikki didn't know for sure, Because Nikki thought...
Starting point is 00:47:41 She didn't know. She's not in a WhatsApp group. We had a preview about a week before the show started. So we could watch the first episode. We watched it all together. And Nikki came over and was like, I'm so sorry, I thought we were trying it this whole time. And I've just found out I've been watched it.
Starting point is 00:47:53 But it's not you. So like, no, it wasn't confirmed to anyone until the shows came out. So week by week, some people were like, I can't believe that happens. I couldn't. I wouldn't be able to rest. I know. I couldn't rest from night to night to wait.
Starting point is 00:48:04 You can't rest anywhere. No, I can't. You know, during that, like, when you see me at the round table, yeah, this is my stress pose. Yeah, that's how I live my life when I'm stressed. I watched every episode like that. Did you? Yeah, I couldn't enjoy it.
Starting point is 00:48:15 Like, I'm not saying I couldn't enjoy it, but I was like, I'm betraying everyone. I'm like, and I'm hearing what they're saying about me after. So, you know, like people would get murdered and then they'd have their little speech. Yeah. Knowing that's directed at me, like Claire's one killed, man. So me and Claire had a really, really like strong relationship off camera. So like I said, you know when you have them times where you're on ice, right? There was one time, so my brother passed away,
Starting point is 00:48:42 like, and he was from, he lived in Scotland. So it was like, and then Claire had some, some things that happened in her life, right? And we're talking about it. And then a rainbow, like, was in front of us, remember? A rainbow, the end of the rainbow was in front of us. And then, like, me and Claire got really, like, quite emotional about it, and we had this bond
Starting point is 00:48:59 and then I murdered her that night. Right. I did. You are savage! No, but it was like, it weren't my decision. The other two traitors were like, she needs to go because all of the young people are her going around her.
Starting point is 00:49:10 I was like, I was like, uh. Yeah, she was the mom figure. She was the mum figure. And I was like, befriend and betray. If I don't stick to this plan, I'll regret it for the rest of my life. Like, if I, if I, imagine I got found out and I didn't stick to my plan, I would have been gutted. So I was like, and that's why that murder was the hardest one for me. The next day, I was crying at the round table and everyone was like, why is he so upset?
Starting point is 00:49:29 I was genuinely like, and then that murder watching it on screen and seeing her say, like, whoever there is, ruined my experience. Like, that killed me, like, really, really did because we're so close. But we're really close. now. Like, she's still alive, by the moment. We'll go to bath next. We can't to try and go to bath next.
Starting point is 00:49:46 I have a question because I like the YouTube friends and I completely get like, you don't choose, if you're a traitor, you don't choose that you're a traitor. So like, I can kind of see from a faithful's perspective that you've kind of just got to like make a piece. But when you turned on the other traitors, are you friends? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, we are.
Starting point is 00:50:01 Like, because they don't show us on camera, yeah? We actually said to each other, if it gets to a point where everyone's voting and we need to protect ourselves, vote with the majority. Like that, we said that. They didn't say, start the rumours it's me. Yeah, well, they didn't say. Have you ever thought about a mountain?
Starting point is 00:50:17 No, but I don't know. Yeah, yeah. So with the Alyssa one, right? I'll tell you, I'll go through the three bitterians, right? So with Alyssa, it was literally like, people were looking at her, they were looking at me. The only person I, that she was the only person I could go for in that moment to convince people to go for.
Starting point is 00:50:31 Like, there was no one else. I could have went, yeah, and get enough votes for that person. So it's her or me. And I had to do it in a convincing way. So people would be like, when she went, I can't possibly be a traitor. And if you notice, I was so convincing that I didn't get one vote after episode six ever apart from the final. 100%.
Starting point is 00:50:48 So people left me alone. When I was crying at the end, because everyone came out, like, I felt so guilty about Alyssa. But then everyone was like, I'm really sorry for voting for you. And that just made me cries. I felt even worse. I was like, oh, God, they're not ever going to vote for me. But they're right. And the Mandel one was paranoia, massive paranoia.
Starting point is 00:51:04 Like, so the Dutch version actually ends with a split or steal with the traitors. so I didn't watch the Dutch version but I heard about it so I was like in my mind that seed was there so I was like oh my God and she didn't show no emotion she was ruthless
Starting point is 00:51:17 she was sick at the job right she was amazing at the job and I was like oh you saw a totally different side when I watched it you saw her at that Traitor's story I was like
Starting point is 00:51:27 I'm mad I'm bad I'm bad oh my God in the first episode when we watched it as a group because everyone thought I was this ruthless horrible
Starting point is 00:51:36 like on off screen yeah like when I was in the the MIPS and stuff. But it was like the complete opposite. Like, Alyssa and Amanda were just ruthless in the first episode, right? And everyone, when we was watching the first show, in it, together, everyone was like, oh my God, I did not expect. Because she was like, dog eat dog and I'm starving. Like, do you know what? I mean? I was like, who comes up with these lines? I was like, do you produce? I give me that because I didn't get any of them. Doggy dog and I'm starving. I love that. Yeah. But with Amanda, it's paranoia.
Starting point is 00:52:00 So I thought it was going to end with a split or steel. I was like, and then I kept thinking she's going to start planting seed, yeah. And it was so bad. Because when I was like, in my she was planting seeds. And then when I watched the episode back for the first time, she weren't planting no seeds and it was me. I was like,
Starting point is 00:52:15 oh, this is cringe. I was like, I feel so bad because I was, it's paranoid. You don't speak to no one else. You're in the game
Starting point is 00:52:20 and you're just stuck in this environment. And then with Kieran, it was like, he was just walking around as a traitor. Like he basically should have had it tattooed on his head. He was like,
Starting point is 00:52:29 sharing a castle and Fred West. Was it? Yeah. I was like, oh my God, I'm for real going to get murder. What was he doing?
Starting point is 00:52:36 He was just, he was so mad. He'd come in, yeah, and he'd go, someone's been talking about me, and we're like, oh, this is so awkward. Like, because when you go in a room and everyone's talking about you, like, you don't just go, everyone's talking about me, aren't they? There was a scene. There was a scene with me and Meryl sat on the sofa at the library,
Starting point is 00:52:53 we're just like, looking at the door to see you, it's going to come in, because he was like, and then I came in and you're like, oh, my God. We were absolutely petrified. I was like, oh, God. There was two reasons I picked him. One of them is, because I got him with him really well. I was like, he can deal with this. I think he's strong enough to deal with it, yeah?
Starting point is 00:53:11 And we can win together. And then the other reason was, worse comes to worse, I'm going to have to throw him under the bus. They're looking for a man, right? So, like, there were the two reasons. So, like, I had a, there was a plan on it, plan B. And then the first day when he walked in,
Starting point is 00:53:23 I was like, yeah, I've got to execute plan B, I think. I was like, and then these guys were like, well, I think it's Kieran. I was like, um, are you short? It was so obvious that you could have turned around to me at that moment. I went, it's not Kieran, it's me. And I would have been like, nah, it's Kieran. He was literally like
Starting point is 00:53:40 He's too pure He liked his parting line to you Parting gift Oh can we talk about that? Go on talk about the part of gift We've got some gas from the audience here He's loving it on cameo at the moment He's sending everyone part of gifts
Starting point is 00:53:53 Is he? I love that I'm loving it I have to sorry I'm sorry I have to ask if It felt like as a viewer watching him do that It felt like that shouldn't
Starting point is 00:54:05 Not shouldn't be allowed but it felt like he overstepped what he should and shouldn't do. Is that right? No, so basically the rules are right. You can't, if you're identified as a traitor and you come out as a traitor, you can't, you can't then tell everyone who the traitors are whilst you're there, right?
Starting point is 00:54:21 But he didn't do that. What you've got to think, what I did was worse. It's just because it was a less, there was less people. So imagine he said part in gift, like when there was 22, like I don't know, but he did it in the moment where it was such a small table. It made such a big impact. And it was my saving.
Starting point is 00:54:37 Grace, because I think if I won, first of all, I think the guilt in terms of like Hannah, like all of that lot, I think it would be a really strange trying to build a relationship with them after the show. And also, I would have got hated, man. I was trending on Twitter, like, so much, like, well, hate, yeah? One, one episode, I trended on Twitter and the traitors didn't. I was like, hashtag Wilf, and it was just snake emojis everywhere. I was like, oh my God. My DMs were bad. The rules were, you weren't allowed to say they were but you're allowed to have your comment and you're allowed to have your vote.
Starting point is 00:55:07 So, and you know, even after that, even after Keehan said that, I was like, I think he was just annoyed. I still don't think it's Wilf. But then because there was the question and there'd never been the question before about him, then he gave me the ultimatum. And I was like, that was intense.
Starting point is 00:55:23 I think it's him. I can't believe it's him. You know when we was at the bar that I seen, yeah, that seemed where I gave him the ultimatum, yeah. This didn't get aired, but Aaron sat there and he went, look, Wolf, let's just vote you out and if you are faithful
Starting point is 00:55:35 we'll just give you a cut of the money I was thinking no it doesn't work like that I was like no let's not do that that's what I was thinking that's what I would have but you can't wait
Starting point is 00:55:44 it takes away the element of the game they're doing it and it's like we're not allowed to in contract so he was above board Kieran with what he did yeah of course like it's part of the game in it
Starting point is 00:55:55 I loved it but I always think if they can't really control what the traitor says like once they've voted out banish, whatever, once they get up, they've got no, the producers don't have any control over than that. Like, Alyssa or Amanda could have just said, oh,
Starting point is 00:56:09 and Wilf, like, you're next. You can't do that, though. That's against the rule. So if you're identified as a traitor and you say, I'm a traitor and then you basically say, oh, so, so z. Well, the show would have never been aired. It would have been all for nothing. Because also, like, with the BBC, and they, I can't, like, I can't express it enough.
Starting point is 00:56:28 They, I mean, I don't know what it's like with any other channel, but they kept everything so. to the rules in the game it wouldn't have been like oh just ignore what he said carry on and we'll air it they were like if the rules go out if the rules if someone breaks rules
Starting point is 00:56:41 the show will not be aired it will all be for nothing that'll be against your contracts I felt anxious the whole time thinking that someone in the heat of the moment it's just intense it's emotional in there like you don't have any contact with anyone else someone right just be like
Starting point is 00:56:53 fuck you for throwing me under the bus is you as well like I've got nothing to lose now I'm out I was worried about that same because it's not it weren't produced at all Like, it weren't overproduced. The only thing they'd do is say, look, there's too many people in this room,
Starting point is 00:57:05 can you break off? That's literally it. So, like, when you're there and you're like, oh, like, it's just so intense because people come up with these theories and they're just ludicrous. Some of them are mad, in it? Some of them are just the worst theories
Starting point is 00:57:19 have ever heard. And I'm like, yeah, that sounds good. Yeah, yeah, that sounds good because I know it's not about me. Yeah, great theory. And like, the reasons why you go for people, obviously, there are reasons that weren't aired, but you're like,
Starting point is 00:57:31 oh, this was why and you can't tell anyone because, well, because it can't, it goes against the rules, but it's, they can't just show every conversation you ever had with anyone
Starting point is 00:57:41 or ever. Of so many people, yeah. And sometimes you can't help but think, this is really hard, I'm going to go for the person who I'm least close to.
Starting point is 00:57:50 Because we were all quite close. No one had any bad blood. And even Tom and Alex the day after the red breakfast, I was like, I'm really enjoying the company. But they were the least, they were like,
Starting point is 00:57:59 they were the furthest away. Yeah. And it's like, I can't, the guilt's too much to vote. Because even at the round, it's like, the traitor guilt was massive. But when you voted out of faithfully, you're like, I've just ruined their experience.
Starting point is 00:58:08 It's not them. And as a, as a traitor, that was harder than murdering. Watching people go at each other. Yeah. Knowing that they're all wrong. Yeah. And that person, you're watching them ruin their experiences.
Starting point is 00:58:20 Yeah. You're just, you're just like for me. Could have fool be well. Right. Ryan was quite comfortable in it. Amanda. Aleta. Kieran.
Starting point is 00:58:31 Yeah, it's really hard. No, they weren't even The hardest one was Ryan. Like, I don't know why. I found, I couldn't even vote for him. Like, because they were all going to him. Ryan's the, the, oh, we have to tell him about the dog. So Ryan's the trainee solicitor.
Starting point is 00:58:48 Oh, yeah, lovely Ryan. He's so lovely. With the glasses. The one who kept throwing up after every mission. Oh, him. Oh, he was so sweet. I hated you all when you were getting him. I was like, no, he's lovely.
Starting point is 00:59:00 That hurt. Like, really what? So I didn't even vote for him. I was like, I can't even go with the majority. That was another reason because it was like, we'd got, Alyssa had gone. And we were like, but Alyssa was lovely, like really sweet. And Ryan was just like, really sweet. And you're like, if I were Claudia, who would I pick?
Starting point is 00:59:13 Yeah. And they're like, Ryan, because he's so nice. Then you're like, I just don't know. Just didn't. So we'll tell you the thing about his dog, right? So basically, he had this picture of a dog, yeah. And he kept kissing it, yeah? And we was like, I was like, oh, you got a dog.
Starting point is 00:59:26 He's like, yeah, this is my dog. He's like, I love him. I miss him so much, yeah? And then we found out. No, no, but once he lost the picture at the dog, and he was like, lost the picture. And everyone was looking for this picture. Aaron, Aaron's on his hands and lease.
Starting point is 00:59:38 And he's like, I found you. Found your picture. Claudia says, because like, Claudia was like, oh, like, we're buried alive. What did you say? She said, like, Ryan, if, um, yeah, we found out that Ryan's dog actually wasn't his dog. And it was just like a stock pho. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:54 So, no. Are you kidding? Yeah, so listen. And then Claudia was like, would your dog say if it was here, Ryan? I was like, probably who the fuck are you? Because it weren't a dog. It was his dog.
Starting point is 01:00:07 My favourite is when you explain the jokes. Back at people. But yeah, it's literally, the dog went real and he was kissing it. I think he just thought it made him like cuter. And he lied about stuff. Went no faithful. I didn't understand faithfuls that lied about things. It just didn't make sense.
Starting point is 01:00:23 And he's like, so he lied about his dog. And then he didn't tell anyone he's a solicitor even, didn't he? He can tell us his solicit. He said he was a trainee solicitor. And Amanda said, Amanda in the car once, said, she said, oh, Rayne, I don't think you should be a solicitor, you're not very good at it. And cheers out, he's a fucking fully qualified solicitor.
Starting point is 01:00:41 And he was like, yeah, she isn't, man. I've only spent 20 years. I took one, this is not your guys' problem, but the only thing I took umbrage with not traitor table related was when your man, Aaron, was asking John about being a massage therapist. and he took it so powerfully. You know, it was weird that because I was like,
Starting point is 01:01:03 if he was asking you all those questions, it means that he's interrogating you. Yeah, he's inquisitive about the game. Which means that he's, if he was doing it on purpose, it means that he's trying to, he's faithful, surely. Yeah. Because he's trying to find out more about it. So I didn't really understand.
Starting point is 01:01:14 It was gruesome. You know, I actually, I think John struggled with that more than anyone. I think he really got to his head. Yeah. Because when we watched that episode, it didn't feel that bad in, when we were there.
Starting point is 01:01:27 I went in there, so I didn't see that. Everybody was, I think, because everybody was kind of, everyone was kind of losing it a little bit at each other. Yeah. And then I was watching it, I was like, that looks really bad. But, you know, John is genuinely so lovely. Yeah, he's a lovely guy.
Starting point is 01:01:40 Yeah. But I think he just lost his mind. Yeah. I think he really, really struggled with that. What I think he struggled with was the fact that he got, like, voted the most likely to be faithful. And that put a target on his back. And I think that really must have, like, been hard for him.
Starting point is 01:01:53 And then you say things and then you do things. So obviously he was like to Aaron, why did you walk out? and stuff like that and then did it the next day. But it was like, it's so hard to say something and then not act like, in the moment, you don't know what to do, right? Like I think you walked out at one point
Starting point is 01:02:08 of Red Breakfast as well and I did. I walked out of, so the Red Breakfast is episode four, right? When everyone goes nuts. Well, we find out about Tom and Alex. So, yeah, security with air, like after. So that episode, no, that episode. I think they thought that I was just gonna launch myself at Tom and like, honestly, like,
Starting point is 01:02:21 it was so intense. That's what I called it Red Breakfast. Like it was the, honestly that. And then after that though, that's when everyone sort of chilled out because afterwards we were like, look, we can't speak to each other like that because we were, people were like,
Starting point is 01:02:34 some things got to have said that was right. And also, like, in other, like, reality shows or anything that I've seen, people get cast because they're, you know, not very nice people or whatever. Every single person in that castle was a nice person. Like, no one was a villain. And that's what was so hard about it was because you knew, no matter what your differences were,
Starting point is 01:02:50 if you wouldn't get on with them in real life or you wouldn't come across them in real life, everybody was really nice. And everybody, like, deserved to stay. And that's what was, really hard. There weren't no one that didn't deserve to win. Like, everybody who went in deserved to win. Like, it weren't like, oh, we feel sorry for this person.
Starting point is 01:03:05 Like, they should win. But everyone had their own back stories to why they wanted to win. So I don't, like, personally, like, everyone just got on. There weren't no, and then you had bad, bad blood at times where like Hannah, Hannah fell out with life. She was like my wife, do you remember she fell out with me when I didn't vote my 100 and I'm trying to. Oh my God.
Starting point is 01:03:24 And you were like, no, we're not going to take. Like my wife's like, no, fair enough. We're like a married couple. It's so funny to watch today. I'm like, please can we talk baby. But you gave me such a good explanation for why you didn't. But that wasn't aired either. You gave me like a real.
Starting point is 01:03:38 And I was like, yeah, fine, fair enough. And then we were like, have you not voted him out? How are you okay with it? Not well. The next day. Like, because everybody, it looked like that was suspicious. Like you and Faye were talking about it. And then the next day, just never ever got mentioned again.
Starting point is 01:03:52 Did you not that it? So it just disappeared. You, you were adamant that it wasn't Will. Yeah. But in the end, you were part of the reason that he was banished. Yes, exactly. But, do you know, the reason why I always thought it was Wilf was because, because like, no matter who I was close to you,
Starting point is 01:04:06 I was trying at the very beginning to be like, it could be anyone. All it is is a tap on the shoulder. It doesn't, your relationship with someone doesn't, like, establish whether or not they're a tracer. But when, and it was after, it was when Alyssa got voted out and the vote came down to you or Alyssa, because that isn't edited either. You, they, when it goes round and there's like,
Starting point is 01:04:25 is it going to be you or is it going to be you? we are in that moment and like it could be either one of them but all the way around when it got to when people were voting wealth he was going it's not me you'll find out in a second and I was like that's how I reacted when Tom so like I mean you had the you had the gall to sit there even in that moment but that's true because everybody else who was a traitor
Starting point is 01:04:45 went okay fine because they knew they were going like if you're under scrutiny as a traitor it's how you react at that table that would say to you like I went through read there and just because I proved my like proved to be faithful like everyone sort of just left me alone and Alyssa crumbled in that moment do you know what I mean
Starting point is 01:05:02 where if she fought it back and was convincing like and the same with Amanda didn't really say much either like she just sort of like she didn't fight for her position as much but then we found out it's like she thought she was ready to go anyway yeah yeah yeah after which she was like
Starting point is 01:05:14 yeah I was ready to go anyway so you can see that but I would be this I would have I would have believed you a thousand percent yeah a thousand percent especially after that Alyssa table thing 100%
Starting point is 01:05:24 like everyone just left me alone like didn't know it was so strange I feel like it's just so hot. Hang on, sorry, I'm jumping around. I do want to ask you, Hannah, what changed your mind when you took, did the little red fire thing? It was where, he said. What was a change? It was wet because when we were in that bar and I can't even, because even after that round table, I'm like, why did he say that to you? And you were like, I don't know. And then I said to you, I can't vote you out and you'd be a faithful. I just can't watch that happen. So in my head then, I was like, you know what? I'm going to say, I'm going to say what I did. And if by that small, chance that he is a traitor that's what i'll have to deal with that's fine but then when we went into the bar area and you were like i'm never going to speak to any of you again i was like that's weird and it felt it felt like someone was cling because that's not you and i kind of knew that you weren't telling the truth do you know what i mean i was like i don't believe in when he says that because i do are like a merry car i know you are i love this i don't i don't lie like about any
Starting point is 01:06:20 like through the game i didn't lie about anything like i was really honest about who i was like honest about my life my kids like I'm really open about my life like I didn't have a great life when I was growing up and I'm really open about that just because that's my way how I've dealt with it and done okay in my life like if I bottled it all in.
Starting point is 01:06:37 That's why I so open with everyone that I became like in their eyes I was a faithful because I was just I weren't lying about anything like and I don't know that's what was suspicious for people as soon as people start lying about stuff that's when people start banishing them it was like Maddie when she
Starting point is 01:06:51 when the acting thing it was like I don't understand why you've lied I don't get it. I don't get why she just came up with it. I don't get why she's so strange. At least keep up the lie. Yeah, I was like to wear after. I was like, do production just tell you to like,
Starting point is 01:07:02 just throwing your attention? Part of me thought, oh, has she gone in for exposure? And then I thought, I'm actually not really like talking about the fact that I'm an actor much. Like I'm going anyway. I might as well just tell everyone that I'm an actor. Because to be fair, I think everyone had the very reason to go in there.
Starting point is 01:07:17 But like, even at the end, like, at the end, when I was thinking it's will for traitor, I was like, what happens if he takes all the money? And I was like, I know Wilf's all right. He's got his family, he's got this, got that. And if he takes the money, fine, it's going to... 100 grand isn't a massive amount of money. It's not, I'm going to move to fucking Morocco on a yacht
Starting point is 01:07:36 for the rest of my life. And I won't have to look at Twitter again. You still will have to deal with real life. And then I've got Aaron, who's like, I just want to give the money to my mum. And I was like, and then Meryl's, like, gone through so much in a life with people, like, shouting out of bullying her and just being vile to her.
Starting point is 01:07:52 and she hated and she was working as a customer sales Yeah yeah Yeah as a call agent And I knew how much she wanted to change her life I mean obviously for me as well I was like I'd quit my job
Starting point is 01:08:03 I'd gone in there worried About how I'm gonna like pay the bills Because you don't know when money's coming in Obviously be self-employed You know that like it's hard And I was like I don't know I'm gonna do And I'm like I could walk out of here And not worry for a bit
Starting point is 01:08:14 You know I could take that away So it wasn't it wasn't pure It wasn't selfless at all I consider what it would mean to me Yeah But I kind of just thought that like, do I, can I watch Aaron and Merrill? Because I was like, you know, I'll be fine. I've got, I didn't, you know, I'm not, I'm not poor.
Starting point is 01:08:32 I don't come from a horrible background. I don't, you know, I don't have any reason to be like, I deserve this more than anyone else. But I was like, what is going to, like, do I, do I risk it and like, will take the money or do I do it for us three? But then I was like, that's not fair because Wilf deserves it as well. And it was just a strange thing because that's what I was. But then seeing how.
Starting point is 01:08:51 gracious he was when he said he was a traitor. I was like, like God, we made the right decision. Can I also just say, I'm so pleased you were so gracious. Because again, I finished the episode about half an hour before I met you. And I was like, I'm going to struggle to look this guy in the eye in just contempt at the end. But then you were so nice. And it was like, I think it was for me, it was like exactly what Hannah just said, right, in terms of everyone had their reasons. And obviously, we spent so many hours together. And knowing that, knowing that Hannah wanted to pursue a career in comedy, right? But there was things, obstacles in a way, trying to earn a living whilst you're doing that. And then like she said, Merrill, man, like some of the things
Starting point is 01:09:29 that Merrill told us about her, what she's gone through and stuff. I was just, you know, some people are nasty man in this world. And it just made me be like, she deserves it. And then Aaron, like, like his mum, like, he loves his mum so much. And then I was, that's what I did in the end. I was like, who do I really not really care about losing to? That's why I was like, when I lost, I was like, cool. I loved them all. It didn't really mean, like, I'm not going to say, like, I always achieved what I want to achieve in life, right? I have a 10 year goal, a five year goal, a year goal. Like, I literally write lists, and this was just going to speed it up for me.
Starting point is 01:10:01 It weren't, like, I still believe that I will achieve the things. So it weren't like, oh, I'm never going to be able to do what I wanted to do. Like, it was just going to speed it up. And I didn't go in there for the money. Like, I don't even know what I went in there. It's so weird. I can't give you a real. Everyone's like, why did you go on?
Starting point is 01:10:15 I was like, I don't really know. Like I didn't go in there to be famous. I didn't go on there to, I think it's gameplay. I love gameplaying. I love strategy and having like that sort of thing. So I was like, it'll be fun. That's what I wanted to go on the circle because I was like, it's just gameplay and stuff. It's like, it's also because, well, I mean, before I went said, I'd got like,
Starting point is 01:10:34 I've gone through a breakup that wasn't handling particularly well. Things were just like really hard at the middle. There was like, well, there wasn't bad, but like there were obstacles I was overcoming. And to go in there for like three weeks and your life. be about the game, it was so exciting because it was like, for this time, I don't worry about paying a bill. I don't worry about going to work. I don't worry about this. I don't worry about taking the bins out. I don't worry about the kids. Forget about the misses. Yeah. Oh, my God. Yeah. Forget about the kids. It was just your whole life as a game and it was so fun.
Starting point is 01:11:06 It was like a repeat. It was not having your phone. Like you didn't have to worry about that. It's the ultimate escapeism. I want to do it. I'm going to apply. It's so good. Three week for holiday from everything. And like, when you're there, like, you play the game in Monopoly or you get a board game. And you know when you're engrossed in that board game for however long you're in there, it is like that, but you're living in it. It's like you're living in the game. It's the weirdest thing ever because you are literally just, it's so strange.
Starting point is 01:11:33 The studio library and BBC did such a good job and keeping you in their headspace. Yeah, they smashed it. Can I ask about, like, coming out, because you said there was one day when you were trending on Twitter. Yeah. And you just said there, rightly, that there are some horrible people in the world. Has that been a difficult thing since you've come out? So luckily, I have, like, my best friend, best wick, give you a shout out. So he has my Instagram on his phone, and so does my wife.
Starting point is 01:12:01 And they were, like, filtering through negative stuff, so I didn't have to really see. And the only night that I, like, so the night I had murdered, Alisa, I was laying in bed. And it's like, 12 o'clock, and I'm bored, and I couldn't sleep. And then, like, I don't have Twitter, but I went on Twitter and I was like, never going back on Twitter again. I was that. I was just like, oh my God. And I was waking my wife. I was like, baby, like, everyone hates me in the world. Like, it was horror that day. And then after that, I got so much hate from people. But then the people that love gameplay protected me so much. They loved me so much. They ended up like multiplying. So like it ended up like that I get no like, fingers crossed it don't happen. But my insta message is now. None of them are negative, like, none of them. Like, they're all just like, you played a great game,
Starting point is 01:12:49 you played a great game, and you played a great game. Because you did, it was brilliant. And it was made for fantastic TV. Yeah, I know. Like, I felt like, you lot were shit at a game, man. If it weren't for me, like, you wouldn't have got any of them. Like, Jacob, do you remember how shit you went?
Starting point is 01:13:01 Do you know, I was fine with all those messages. Like, I did the same as you, I went on Twitter once. I was like, nope, not doing that. And I was like, yeah, fine. The one thing that really upset me was, Hannah's not funny. And I was like, ah! You really hit me where it hurts.
Starting point is 01:13:15 And the thing is they did. And the worst bit was, yeah, you got like, people going, Tom's not good at magic. He didn't even show us a trick. He didn't even, like, but, like, and then Hannah's not funny, she hasn't told one joke. And then when I got voted funniest, yeah, and it was like, but he's not funny.
Starting point is 01:13:29 It's like, but you don't see everything. Like, Tom was showing tricks and Hannah was telling jokes, and we were funny and we weren't having laughs. It's like, but they don't see none of that. So, like, yeah, Tom got so much hate. He's a shit magician. He's like, you haven't seen him. Like, oh, maybe because he did accuse wrong people.
Starting point is 01:13:44 I do magic right I used to I was really into it like I did it from You've done a bunch of shit Yeah so like when I was growing up Boxing dancing in addition Yeah so when I was in sixth form It's like you been sponsored
Starting point is 01:13:55 I was doing magic when I was young In school and in sixth form I used to work in a restaurant I used to get paid to like go and do tricks Yeah Me and Tom were talking about magic one time And he was like And he got scared because
Starting point is 01:14:09 But luckily I stopped doing magic When he got big But like he thought I might know him And then when I came out, and then I looked him up, I was like, rah, this guy, in magic terms, he is massive. Really? Yeah, he's really big. Like, no, no, like, when it was. Yeah, the magic world.
Starting point is 01:14:26 He was touring and stuff with Dynamo when he was a teenager. Oh, wow. Do you know what I mean? And he's like, still works with him. Like, Tom is really good at his day. He was shit at that moment. Yeah, he was shit in that moment. But he is really, really clever.
Starting point is 01:14:39 I'm really good at him. I think I should still hold a grudge for Ivan. Oh, but they're saying close. I know they are really close. Because they're proper high functioning. They're both high functioning. Like Ivan's like, like he's just on it all the time. And Tom's exactly the same.
Starting point is 01:14:52 So nice that you are friends. I know. Like someone sent me a DM, like my DMs have been popping off for the last couple of days. And someone sent me one and it was like, it's so sad that like all we like in this world. It's like TV that's all about like manipulation and lying and cruelty and stuff. I was like, okay, that's a bit like get over it. You know what I mean? Like whatever.
Starting point is 01:15:10 But it's really nice to hear that you are actually. friends and that you've got all this warmth for each other because it is as a premise it's a trauma bond. I know I think from the public though it's been so nice because I think the reason why it's been so successful successful is that
Starting point is 01:15:28 it had a fairy tale ended so like the goodies won the baddie was great in the end plays playing like a panto villain when you watch it on Gogglebox yeah one of the best lines so they were watching it on Gogglebox and they were like
Starting point is 01:15:42 for the final yeah from the final and two women were like, he played the game so well that they're clapping him even though he's a traitor once he walks up. And I was just like, oh, that means a lot. Like, because you, you couldn't have written the ending. Like I said to, I mean, I am prone to exaggeration, but I said to my sister's like, this is the best bit of TV that I have ever seen. You know, production ran out and said like the executive producers when I went up the stairs, they all came out crying. Yeah. Like, they came out crying. They were like, you've just made like a golden moment. I was like, what did I do? You know, when you were just like, and they're like, and they're like,
Starting point is 01:16:14 Anyway, here's your champagne, bye. Bye. After, so you told them that you were a traitor. Yeah, yeah. You walked off and then you were with the others and Claudia. When did you next see, Will, after that? A few weeks later. Oh, my God, it wasn't that night.
Starting point is 01:16:29 No. Oh, we went out and got smashed, yeah. Like, and then you're like, I'll buy your beers, I owe you it. I was like, cool. So where did you go after that? I went straight, I went straight back to where I was staying. They went back to where they were staying. It was about three o'clock in the morning.
Starting point is 01:16:42 My flight was at six. Yeah, so Hannah's flight, but I see. I've seen, I seen Aaron and Merrill in the morning to say by, like, because we had to get our planes. yeah so and then and then I was work I went back to work obviously I went mental when I came home like I went like psychologically I went mental like I was had a bit of a breakdown and luckily I went to Cyprus and that sort of sorted me out but when I came back I was like what do I do my life and you can't get out of this like who you want to be around because I just like I was like Hannah where are you like I need to see you do you know I mean it's so weird we all
Starting point is 01:17:13 used each other a lot for a lot of like afterwards support because you're like oh we've done the game we got through amazing and then you're you're like oh we've done the game we got through amazing and You're like, what's going to happen? Is it going to, is it not going to be successful at all? Is anyone going to care? Is it going to be good? Are people going to hate this? I understand it because we weren't allowed to tell anyone.
Starting point is 01:17:30 Like, my wife was the only person I told that I didn't win. And my last bit of traitorism, right, was like my family genuinely believed I won. So I was like, I'm going to make a big deal out of it. I'm going to get them all round and everything for the final. So I was like, yeah, come around for the final episode, guys. Come around. They're like, oh, he definitely won. I was like, yeah, I'm going to spend, I spent loads of money on snacks and everything.
Starting point is 01:17:47 And then when I did win, yeah, I stood up. I was like, anyway, you can all go now. It was literally, yeah, and they were just like, I'm gonna go to you like $2.50, please not. Yeah, I was like, anyway, I'll invoice you for the snacks. But they were like, they like, they genuinely believed that I won't. I couldn't tell no one.
Starting point is 01:18:03 Like, I couldn't tell anyone. So back to what I was saying, it's like you can't tell no one, you can't speak to anyone. No one will, even if you talk to them, would not understand what you've just been through. Because then it's not even televised. Like, we can speak to you now and you can be like, oh, what was that like?
Starting point is 01:18:14 But could you understand. Yeah, yeah. Because it weren't televised. We wouldn't be able to speak about it anywhere. No one would understand. So we just had to be around people. Like Amos, literally, the day I got home, the day after, I went for a beer and rang Amos. I was like, because he don't know far from me.
Starting point is 01:18:27 I was like, can you come see me? Just to be around people that understood what we went through. Did you ring him and say, hi, Amos. By the way, I was a traitor. Do you want a beer? Or did he already know? Basically, yeah. That was basically here.
Starting point is 01:18:38 Like, oh, and then he came out. Because he was a doctor, right? So he came back in episode five. So he went out. We were all loved. Don't forget. He's seen no traitorism, no round table, nothing. When he was with us, we were all really happy.
Starting point is 01:18:52 And then they left. When they came back, we've had round tables and we're nuts, right? And he's come back and he was all feral. And he was just like, what has gone on? Like he literally grabbed me. He's like, will, are you okay? I was like, yeah, yeah, of course I'm. And he's like, yeah, Will's not okay.
Starting point is 01:19:04 Like, and he got really worried because he's a GP, right? And he was just like, people are in psychosis. Yeah, yeah, yeah. People are going nuts. But you'd have time out. I'd have to have time out. So I used to be like, can you call me for a Miv? If you guys said it didn't look suspicious, you'd be like, can you call me for a MIV?
Starting point is 01:19:18 So someone would come in and be like, will, we need you for a MIV? But it was literally just because I needed to get out for a bit and just like, just like, sit in a room and just like... I bet. Yeah. Those diary room sessions, the whole time you were doing it, I was like, shh, people are going to hear you? Yeah. And you like, it's literally such a long walk. They're like, can you bring you to a MIV?
Starting point is 01:19:37 I'm like, yeah, let me go put my shoes on and get my... Absolutely knackered. Yeah, they're like, you go up stairs and then there's another stairs. There was three different rooms. And then one was in like near an attic, basically. It was like, yeah, really secluded. It was basically in the other half of the castle. So there's no way that I was worried for you every time.
Starting point is 01:19:51 I was like, shit. I thought I got murdered. You should have heard me scream. Yeah. Could you imagine? It all went to shit because someone over and Will. Yeah. But I screamed once, yeah, and I was like, shit, they're going to hear me.
Starting point is 01:20:01 Like, I did get scared because you know when I come in and there's an envelope, you know the episode where I'm gonna, we have to do the kiss of death, right? I thought I've been murdered. So I walked in and I was like, no, it's screaming. I was like, fuck, no, they killed me. And I was like, and then there killed me. know what, just, Will, can you just sit down? I'm like, no, I'm not reading it.
Starting point is 01:20:19 I was like, I'm not reading it. I can't believe it. It's like, we'll just sit down and read the fucking letter. I was like, okay. We take it. But I said that one morning when they were like, can you come with me? And I was like, no. And they were like, honey, and he needs to come with me.
Starting point is 01:20:29 And I was like, not coming, not leaving. And they were like, no, can you just come? It's not a problem. And then you'd walk down the corridor and they'd be like, you're going to breakfast. And like, so me and Hannah, right, so me and Hannah, right, so me and Hannah came in a couple of times together. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:40 So we were walking down and I knew she was so worried and I knew we was cool because I was murdering everyone else but Hannah I had to act I was like oh my God
Starting point is 01:20:49 I hope we're going to breakfast and then they're like you two are going for breakfast and we just both started cheering but literally just before we walked through the door so you don't know any of that until you don't know you're going to be murdered Do you feel a bit betrayed
Starting point is 01:20:59 that he did all of this like fun acting? I can't because if it hadn't been for him I wouldn't have to go to the end Oh you're such a nice person So I sometimes I'm like Should I be more annoyed but I swear to you
Starting point is 01:21:09 I would have played exactly the same way And I was just got in, I wasn't a traitor. Is anyone annoyed with you? Do you think everyone's been okay? I think initially when I came out, I think there was some, some, not annoyed, but coldness. And then when people like met me outside of it
Starting point is 01:21:23 and they were like, oh, he's just him. Exactly the same thing. He's exactly the same person. It wasn't like, I was pretending to be a happy, go lucky guy. It's like, oh, actually, he's just like that. So then everyone was sort of cool after that. I am a petty bitch, and I think if I was Alyssa or Amanda, I would be just like, I'd be like fine,
Starting point is 01:21:40 but I'd just be a bit passive aggressive. I know he didn't pick me to be a traitor of him. Yeah, we would have won. Oh, yeah. We would have won 100%. I'm not annoyed because actually it's really nice
Starting point is 01:21:50 but I would have thought because if somebody had asked me to spin a traitor I'd been like, yes, please. I thought you wouldn't. No, actually. I don't know what to do at that point.
Starting point is 01:21:58 I didn't ask Hannah. I don't know why. There was the weirdest feeling in my heart I was like, I don't know why I just couldn't choose you. And it was like something subconsciously was telling me not to choose her for someone.
Starting point is 01:22:10 reason and I can't explain it. It would have felt so unfair because we were kind of the leaders of the opposite teams because I knew that Marilyn Aaron, I knew at that point I could not necessarily follow me but I knew that I could sway them either way and I think you knew what you
Starting point is 01:22:26 would do with Kieran so I think if it had been us two together as traitors I think taking money from Marilyn Aaron would have felt like it would have been dreadful because when Kieran went and said it was Wilf.
Starting point is 01:22:41 I was like, oh, I've got the control now. I've never had the control throughout the game because I could have got murdered but I was like, we could win if I choose for us to win. So I was like,
Starting point is 01:22:52 if I'd just get rid of Wilf, all I have to do is get rid of him. Even if he's a faithful, I'd just do it to make sure, but then I was like, I can't get rid of him if he's faithful, that would kill me. But then I was like,
Starting point is 01:23:02 just do it, what are you doing? Just do it, just do it, just get rid of him. And that was where like, I was like, I could win if I wanted to do. I could take away all the worry for money. I could, like, make sure Ari gets money, I could make sure Merrill gets the money.
Starting point is 01:23:13 Why aren't you happier? And I was like, because what if Will's are faithful? And it was so weird, because I always thought, like, it comes down to money or whatever, just take them, wouldn't it? Yeah, it wasn't that. It's so weird, because, like, when you talk to the psychiatrist before you're on the show, yeah, he's like, just remember, they're all holiday friends.
Starting point is 01:23:28 Like, you never, you're... Yeah, they're, they're part of the game. And, but then when you're there, and, like, we genuinely, everyone got on so well. And then we do after us. It's not holiday friends. and such, like everyone's still, we meet up all the time. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:43 Like, and it's not just this, ah, just because we're still in the show thing. Like, we've been meeting up from we film. Like, it's been five months since we feel, five, six months or something. And we've all been meeting up, like, and we have to do it in secret and stuff. We've not been able, we've not been out to get,
Starting point is 01:23:55 like we went out together when we first came out of the show. But when it's been aired, whilst it's being ed, we're not allowed to be seen together or anything. So Hannah would come around and watch an episode together or whatever. We went out to the shops and put, like, yeah, yeah, we had to put a hoods up and stuff just in case people like, oh, they're together, they're friends, and it ruins the experience.
Starting point is 01:24:12 So we weren't allowed really to do anything together. And this is the first day today, like we literally, we just seen each other outside the... Yeah, we're going to be a mess later. Yeah, we're going to be a mess. But we've seen each other out there and we literally just taken like... What kind of a mess? Like, emotion, you're drunk. Yeah, okay, good.
Starting point is 01:24:25 I was like, what's happening? Yeah, but we had like, we literally seen each other, hugged each other, spoke for about two minutes and then just took photos already out there. Yeah, people just walking past. Really? Yeah. It's bad enough when you're on your own, but when you're together, it's like... Well, it's like... Well, this is the first time I've been with Hannah
Starting point is 01:24:40 and that we're like, people are, like, my most like photo on Instagram is us too. Like, just saying to everyone, we are still friends. And an article got written about whether or not me and you were still friends. Did it really? I haven't read that. It's really weird. That's really nice, though, that you are, that you are. Because it's like, it just, I think it's really important for reality TV to show that you're just,
Starting point is 01:24:59 you were playing a game and that as people, you're just still people that can be like, you know. Well, you don't hate your auntie if she beats you at the Monopoly, do you? I do. I do. I do. Yeah, I do. My brother. This is probably the nicest.
Starting point is 01:25:14 Yeah. I can't. Like, we've actually banned games in my house by my brother. Yeah, my brother and my best friend during lockdown. We all lived together. And it was so horrible. Like, it was genuinely the environment was so horrible. No and Ellie wouldn't talk to each other for like days.
Starting point is 01:25:28 Going back to like the actual like bit where people get murdered. So it happens in the morning. Yeah. So people who would travel in would like still think they're coming to breakfast in the morning and then they just... The night was so hard because you were like going to sleep
Starting point is 01:25:43 and you're like, I'm going to sleep and you're like, I'm going to be going home in the morning. I imagined you were like plucked from your beds. Same. Yeah. Like just doors breaking down, Grouse. Get out.
Starting point is 01:25:51 Yeah. In the back of a van. Yeah. That was my... Imagine that. One night, someone did knock on the door. One night someone did knock on the door
Starting point is 01:26:00 and I was like, fuck! No! And they were open the door and they were like, you come in and I was like, why? And they were like, you asked us to take you for a cigarette
Starting point is 01:26:06 like 20 minutes. oh okay fine I almost wanted Aaron to be banished so he could stand up there and say to Maddie I'm a faithful
Starting point is 01:26:14 oh yeah get off my back I was like screaming at the TV like but she was right about you all along but for the wrong yeah the thing is
Starting point is 01:26:22 everyone keeps saying this but she was so wrong like her three best friends were traitors yeah she was wrong about her back and they were her best friends in the show
Starting point is 01:26:30 also as you always say throw enough shit at the wall something's gonna stick and it's like she did throw a lot yeah Like, a broken, a broken clock will always be right twice a day, yeah. But she went, she was.
Starting point is 01:26:43 And for me, I kept her in. Everyone was like, did you keep her in? Because if she murdered, everyone would believe it as you. I was like, no. The reason I kept her in is because people would laugh when she said my name. So it's like, but if I took her out and then somebody else said my name, they'd take it serious. So I was like, the longer I keep her in, the more emphasis on. God, you're clever.
Starting point is 01:26:59 I would not, I would, honestly. Yeah, that was why. The thing is, I thought with like murdering, it's like, you, you, To me, it felt like, there's no strategy, there is a strategy to it, but like everyone will just either like, we'll guess it until they're like, you can guess it like, oh, he's bluffed, he's double bluffed, he's double bluff. You just don't know. Yeah, there were so many moments where people were like,
Starting point is 01:27:20 this person's bluffing, but is he double bluffing? He could be triple bluffing. Like, there were so many moments where people's brains, but the thing is, I think if you go in there, like this is little tips for people who go in there, yeah. I was about to ask that. For Al next year. Yeah, yeah, yeah. For traitors, yeah.
Starting point is 01:27:36 I'd say build a relationship with the other traitors. Like we didn't have a relationship outside the turret. Because you were scared of being seen together. Yeah. And then that brings up paranoia. That brings up everything. If you're a faithful, literally don't be as intelligent as what you really are. Like as soon as you come across intelligent, you're out. Like Amos.
Starting point is 01:27:54 Amos was way too clever. Yeah. Like, bye, Amos. Ivan, I was like, we can't murder him. They're going to get rid of him anyway. But he would have been murdered. Anybody who had like real logic. of game would get murdered
Starting point is 01:28:08 so if you're faithful and you are logical try and keep it to yourself as much as you can but then also don't fall under the radar because you'll get banished you won't get murdered but you'll get banished so people who are too quiet people would just be like yeah I think they're a traitor because they're quiet yeah I said in my opening like conversation with Claudia that like tall poppies
Starting point is 01:28:24 and small weeds get picked first so you have to middle all the way through even I mean I did really after the first couple of banishments I was like why am I so bothered about getting a traitor out I should just be more concerned about keeping myself in because they'll all do the work I need to just make sure that I stay in
Starting point is 01:28:42 and build relationships with people so I wasn't really looking for trade and I think someone said I think Maddie was like please look at Wilf and I was like why why do I need to look at them because I'm doing something right I'm here
Starting point is 01:28:53 and I genuinely didn't think it was you genuinely didn't I was like I know you're wrong but I was like why do I need to look at anybody and then someone said Amanda it was like there's like there's too Amanda and I was not alright yeah kind of She was like, even if she's not a traitor,
Starting point is 01:29:06 I'm not going to change anyone's minds. Why should I be the one to be seen to be doing that? So I'll just get murdered tonight if that's the case. And like, Fay had said that she, like, Faye is so good at reading people. And she said like, I've got notes up in my room. It's like that, you know that like me with Charlie out of? She told me that.
Starting point is 01:29:22 It was like, that was Faye. And then as soon as she told people, she told you, didn't she? She told me, she sat there with me, yeah? I don't even know why they edited this out. So she sat there with me. I think it was because it's so obvious. They didn't want it to be obvious who was going to murder. She sat there next to me.
Starting point is 01:29:34 like yeah so I've got this I've made a round table like I've written one out and there's all people being murdered on this side so the people on this side are like these are the people that it could be because they're next to each other and talk like I like we were eyeing each other like I'd say to Hannah I'd look at Hannah and we'd look at who we're going to vote we'd vote together and be like yeah cool that's who we're going for so she knew there was some kind of pattern soon as you told me that she walked off yeah I looked at the camera's like right she's dead like that night I murdered it straight away yeah she's murdered it straight away yeah it sounds so bad don't it yeah sorry yeah but straight away as soon as you show show your sort of like how intelligent you are like Alex as well man
Starting point is 01:30:12 she's super smart and then as soon as like because she came across just this like pretty blonde and stuff and then when she started being really clever I was like I need her we need her on the team or we're going to murder her that's the only option because she's she is really clever so I was like yeah that was it so as soon as she started showing that she was really intelligent and wanting to find traitors, like if people wanted to find traitors, we're getting you out. People who would just have a good time, we're like, oh, should let him have a good time? Yeah, yeah. It would be all right.
Starting point is 01:30:37 Maybe I would be all right, actually, yeah. I would crumble quite quickly. Would you guys a traitor as a faithful, if you wanted? Faithful, couldn't, yeah. Really? Yeah, I'd be, I'm the worst liar, I'd be terrible. You say that until you have to go to bed at night, wondering whether or not you get it from bed or shit.
Starting point is 01:30:49 No, no. I don't have good, I don't have good traitor energy. I don't think. No, not at cool. I'd be shit. First morning at breakfast, it was me. Yeah. Literally, I'm really sorry.
Starting point is 01:31:00 There was one episode where they cut out where one of the people, I'm not going to say a name, stood up and was just like, the traitor of vile pieces of shit. Oh, we fucking hate, went in. And I just sat there and crumbled and cried. And so did. But you did. And Amanda was like, come on, everybody.
Starting point is 01:31:15 Let's just be nice. Yeah, do you remember? But it was so obvious who it was in that moment. When you watch it, yeah. And then you go, like, you know when they go, like, try to recruit Alex? And she told us at the round table. She's like, what did she? And they're like, fucking it was you.
Starting point is 01:31:28 It's so funny watching her. I'm obsessed with Amanda. Yeah, she's hard of nails. I know Amanda does it with such. I don't know what it is about. She's just so funny. We have to wrap it up, but before we do,
Starting point is 01:31:39 can I just ask? Is Andrea okay? Oh, she's fine. She's living the best life. She's in Berlin. She was amazing. She was amazing. Sorry, I'm, my,
Starting point is 01:31:49 bloody hell. My geotography is very bad. But yeah, she's called her. She's got horses, Amos who's been to see her. She came to London to watch a preview. Yeah, she's fine. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:31:57 She came in a best life. See how much it meant to her. being on the game. She just loved doing it. She loved, she just loved. I'm still, I still think she's a secret agent. She's never tell us what she is.
Starting point is 01:32:07 I think Andrew was struggling with it though towards the end. Yeah, she was like, not physically. I think mentally she was just like, if you just vote for me, like she said this at round table. Andrew was like,
Starting point is 01:32:17 I can't listen to Tom anymore, make me out. Yeah, and then she went, I'm just going to vote for Hannah because Hannah asked. That was her reasoning, right? I think in the end. I didn't mean it, Andrea.
Starting point is 01:32:27 The reason I met, my murder was because I was like, they were getting so physical as well and like, and I don't want to be ageous, that's not the right thing, but like I just felt like it was getting mentally harder and no one was going to banish around the table.
Starting point is 01:32:40 And I thought that would have been harder for her. Imagine all of us going at her at the table. Oh yeah, she would have watched. I couldn't watch that. So I was like, I need to, like, the only way to get rid of is the murder end. God, it's like putting a dog down. I know.
Starting point is 01:32:54 That was so funny. Say bye. But you know what? You did it at a time. where there wasn't long left. So it was like she did most of it. Oh God, it is like putting a dog down. It wasn't long left.
Starting point is 01:33:05 I promise you, she hasn't gone to a farm or anything like that. She is alive. No, not a farm in Belgium with all those horses. It's standing a bit of this. Don't worry. Amos, the doctor's gone to see her. She's fine.
Starting point is 01:33:19 That is what you're talking to me. There's going to be a channel four documentary if you're traveling to Belgium so far. Is Andrea okay? That's so funny. It's like the whole Britney scab thing, isn't it? Yeah. Is that Joe okay?
Starting point is 01:33:32 There's like face times available. I don't think it's her screen, screen. To be fair, I haven't seen, I haven't seen anything of her on social media. Yeah, it's so strange. She has gone to Instagram. Keene. There's a direct train, isn't there?
Starting point is 01:33:46 Yeah, let's go. Thank you both so much. Thank you. So much. That was like, oh, it's like fulfilled everything I needed. It was brilliant. You both made for compelling television. It was such a good.
Starting point is 01:33:58 We're so happy. You were both brilliant and, yeah, good luck with everything that happens from here and out. I know, yeah, this is brilliant. Oh, good. Thank you. No problem. Should I delete that is part of the ACAS creator network.
