Yeah. Missouri represent. I was just going to say, we're going to have to say it right out of the gate. Yep. That was a mid-mo bucket, bitches. And he went off the entire game. It wasn't just that shot, but that just was the cherry. on top. I don't think OG missed a shot in the second half. So for those not from the Missouri area,

Sophie and I are from Columbia, Missouri, OG and Ninobe is from Jefferson City, which a lot of people don't know is the capital of Missouri. Give it up for the capital of Missouri, Jefferson City. Love. Love. That is, so if you're going to go from Sophie and I's hometown to like the Ozarks, that's just like you pop, you pop through Jeff City, right, where OG's from, and then you're, and then you're right in the Ozarks. But shout, shout out. That was awesome. Dude, that game was insane.

Actually, the whole series has been insane. I thought that the Spurs were gonna get it. I mean, they were down 29, down 29. And then Josh Hart misses the layup with like, what? I've seen so many clips of how bad of offense the Spurs played in the last 10 minutes of basketball. Yeah. Apparently they put up like more than 10 threes with more than 10 seconds on the shot clock. Like they, they were, it was horrible basketball.

And like, I'm no one to judge clearly. But is it too simplistic to say it that it's all nerves like in the end of that fourth quarter? Like why they were playing poorly. I know what do you guys think? It's coaching. Isn't it so? No, I think I think you just sometimes get rattled. And I think that's kind of why experience matters, especially in playoffs.

And like, or or adversity during the regular season. because then you've been there and you know how to handle it. And I think Mike Brown, he was like, during the regular season, I think they were like on a two and nine losing streak. And he was like, I hope adversity keeps hitting. Like he wanted stuff to happen because then he knew that they would all be prepared for these types of moments. But I think the spurs just kind of like, I don't know.

There's just like simple mistakes and like Darren Fox like pull that out. You're up. Yeah. Pull that out. Like there's just like little things. like that that I don't know if he thought he got a wide open layup, but it's just little things. Didn't you and I talk literally last week about going through tough times in the beginning of the season so that when like shit actually matters, you're weathered.

It's real. And you can. Yeah, of course. And I know you talked about it because you said like during football season, you really don't have that luxury to like be losing games. But in the basketball sport, you definitely do. And not definitely like you always want to win, but it's like this. You know, and then at the end of the season, you just want to be here.

And the Knicks proved that they were weathered. And it was such a fun game to watch, like, in the fourth quarter. Not to be like, oh, I bet you didn't have fun watching. But as someone who watched that whole game from New York City, I just want people to know that like. Wild. I've only, and Kev, you can interrupt me like when you think I'm wrong or right, but like, I've been here for like some Yankees playoff series fine. Like, well, I don't think the Jester Giants have actually been in the playoffs since I fucking lived here.

But like last night was just game four and the streets were like on fire. I will say real quick, the videos of these fucking kids beating up people in Spurs jerseys. I hate that. Fuck that. Yeah. Fuck that. Like those also aren't even like, I know for a fact those aren't even like real fucking Knicks fans. Those are people who like come into the city from somewhere else and want to go like start some shit.

Yeah. Like that I can't stand that. That being said, I was at a, I was at my boy's restaurant with friends. Everyone left and like our friends left in the third quarter and we stuck it out and just like it was insane. I love that. I think a lot of people, or Kev, go ahead. Because I knew you're, I know you're out too. He was going to, he was going to say don't make Nazi Germany comparisons probably.

Less of those. Only three of those a show. Yeah. No, it's like so unifying for the city. You know, like I think, I think West brought it up in the previous podcast. Like football is two teams, jets and giants, you know, baseball has two teams. Like the Knicks, like, we're all we got. And we've been so bad for so long.

In the last 25 years, I think we're top five in losses in the NBA. So like we finally put it together. We didn't sign a bunch of like aging old stars. We actually built the team. The power of friendship. Nixon five. No. I, wait.

I also talk about why we want Nick. And six, but I do like the Knicks because they're not, it's not like some fucking like, there's no like LeBron signing or like Curry on his way out or like Miami Heedle. Like there's no, these are all like dudes with chips on their shoulder who are like fucking hard nose ballers. Kat was like a first overall pick which like whatever, but they are not. None of these guys are superstars, so to speak, you know what I mean? Yeah. Like I think they're so Knicks and so New York and it's so cool that like they aren't they

aren't like a bunch of dudes who are like you know chasing titles on their way out these are all guys who are fucking hungry and it yeah fucking rocks and it yeah it's so cool no I agree and I think a lot of people on the outside because we're not in New York they're like oh we hate Knicks fans and how they travel and take over Rinas I'm like that's what it's all about like that is that is literally what it's all about and I think that we can have experience because of the Chiefs And like how unifying like the chiefs has brought Kansas City, Mo, Kansas, like literally, anyone who's that type of fan, it just unites you. And like when you win and you keep going, it's just, I don't know, I think sports brings a lot of different people together and it's so fun. And I think you're seeing that with New York.

But I was about to say the same thing. Those videos of like, and you know that they're just people who are trying to cause trouble and like ruin it for everybody. Yeah. But that sucks. And I was like, come on, New York. Yeah. Be better than that. But I love all the celebrations and like seeing the Knicks fans because they're true.

I like it. You could tell me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the NBA has like the pure fandom that like the NFL does where you have like historic fan bases and like people who just want their team to win. Like I just, the NBA, that's just not what I think of. Yeah. But Knicks fans are like are real as fuck. Yeah. I think there's certain. I think the NBA overall no.

But I think like Lakers, yes, Nix, yes. I think what other? Who else? You can say the Pacers if you want to. Oh, yeah, Pacers. Thunder. Yeah, and a lot of these are like smaller markets. Exactly.

The reason I said, Nixon six, this could be the best fucking thing ever. I mean, I guess it's their wedding so our opinion really doesn't matter. But I just thought that it would be like somewhere in in nature, a private, away from, like, you know what I mean? I think it's so tacky. I don't know why. I don't know why you would ever do MSG.

And like, we aren't ones to talk, I guess. We're not engaged or married, but I'm just like, I think that feels like a, like a concert or like a tour, like, are there going to be strangers there? That's what I'm curious about. I don't, I don't think so. I wouldn't believe so. I think I just thought that they'd be more like, I don't know, creative in a way. Yeah, totally. I'm with you. Like I'm not trying to talk smack because it's their wedding and if that's what they want, then I'm sure it's going to be beautiful and stunning. But I just, I think everyone, so many people have kind of been talking about it. I'm like, yeah, I have a little shot too.

like, every little thing that they post, even like the inside jokes or like what we call each other, everyone just blows that out of proportion and like it's it drove a couple of them, them kind of crazy like last week they're like how do you guys do this how do you like and i'm like you just can't you can't think about you got to keep doing you don't let it bother you but being in indiana everything is on full microscope times a million and like you you have to have thick skin to play here because they eat everything up and like this this thing right here if uh the didn't follow the plan thing yeah dude we'll get to that i feel like after i want well i want to give you the floor well i just want to give you the floor well i just want to give you the floor well i just want to

But I also want to say, I don't like read our comments that much, but like I saw last week, everyone thinks because I ask you questions, it means I don't fucking know anything about basketball. Remember, like, we played them at the beginning of the year and it went into overtime and like she hit another clutch, but we finally won this one. So there's growth right there. But two people went like Lexi drew two defenders. And so she went right where there was like wide open space. And like, that's why I grabbed her at the, because I was like, I thought I threw it because I thought she was going to continue to run to me. And that's why it was almost tip. So like, everyone's like, oh, that was, I was like, no, that was the play.

See, like, and it worked out perfectly because there was no one around her after she caught it. But I thought she was going to continue to run towards the ball and she stopped. And so that's all like, so that was it. Yeah. How does it feel as a teammate knowing in those situations that you have someone on your team, like when she lets it go and you're like following her shot back to the basket that it's more likely fucking money every time than not. But it's like that is like look at our faces and like just how the game went. Like it's just it was a funny. It just had nothing to do with anything. And so, but I know people are going to go like crazy of like, oh, something more is going on. It's like, no, it's not. For everyone not watching for everyone listening, it's a mean. with Sophie and Caitlin like sitting in the locker room and it's like it's a bunch of word bubbles and coach says you follow the plan right and then Caitlin says we may have improvised

and Sophie says oops and Caitlin says worth it oh oh is that AI or is that a real picture I think it was actually like a real photo of because they film after wins and stuff like that and I think like during it something like that happened it was just funny so I also don't own the rights to that photo and i posted it so shout out to whoever did that it's like low-key funnier that it actually might be real because they're pretty hilarious the actual photo of us is real but all the other shit clearly isn't so oh those aren't real we're bubbles well like the plan the like the clipboard and stuff like that is that i'm saying like that's not real i don't know so if i've seen this i've seen this face before when i when i saw the

liberty game this past weekend she got less she was getting booed like insanely every time she committed a battle. I didn't know play good. This one foul, she just rolled her eyes and the camera was all up in her face, just like catch her sarcastic eye roll. Yeah, I'm a little sassy. I don't know how to explain this without it being like, like, I don't, I don't know. It's not like misogynistic.

I just think you're such a fuck, you're like such a girl. And it's fun to watch like you play basketball because you do the most girly shit ever that like you wouldn't get in the NBA. Like when you like blocks home girl like a few, a few weeks ago and you did like this shit. And then like eye rolling, like it's just funny because you're like just a sassy girl playing basketball. And like I think it's very fun to watch. And thank you.

Yeah, I like that's a draw for the W if people want to like get probably more. Yeah. Personality and like real. Personality. Yeah. That shit's so funny. I knew Kev said that the like the. WMBA put out, is it quarter, quarter season? Yeah, ESPN put this out.

I think we're 12 games in, 44 game season. So yeah, ESPN gave out some report cards for the quarter mark. So, so if you wonder what you think you would give the grade the fever this year. What I would grade us right now, I would give us a 62%. Well, it's, I think it's probably like a letter grade. Oh. Well, so then that would be. That's, I think that's like a C.

Well, 62 would be, and would technically be an F. I think so far this season, we are a C just because we are inconsistent and like we haven't caught our rhythm. But when we click, we're a freaking A plus plus. Like. Okay, let's go. Yeah. So we just got to get the consistency, consistency piece. But I know that they saw, they said Olivia Miles was like up for rookie.

She's going to get rookie the year. I don't know if anyone has watched her play, whoever's listening to this. She is a beast, an actual beast. Olivia Miles, baller. Where'd she go to school? She went to Notre Dame and then she went to TCU. But dude, she is, I'm not kidding. She, like, she just has like the wiggle of a guy.

Like, she is so good, her passing, her shooting, her court vision. Like, she is good, good, good. I like her. And I know, I know if people think it's weird when, like, you compliment other people in our lead because you have to play against them. But I also'm like, get this girl her flowers. Like she is a freaking beast. I'm a fan. Is that weird to say?

You know what the NFL does? I think is really awesome is they have the players vote on their top like 10 players at each position. And then they do NFL top 100. And it's based on peer players like rankings. It's cool. And so it's yeah, it's like purely based on other players. And I think when that list comes out every year, it's like very, very interesting. to see who incredible content.

I think that's cool. Like I think it's, I know there's a lot of guys and I don't know, there's a lot to choose from, but I think that our sport is always just like, so good. I mean, so Zeres, but it's like always so in competitive and there's not that many of us. And so you're always going against each other. But I think it is cool to like give people their flowers and Olivia, she 100% deserves it because she is putting like the whole league on notice right now, like huge.
