September is a great time to travel,
especially because it's my birthday in September,
especially internationally.
Because in the past,
we've stayed in some pretty awesome Airbnbs in Europe.
Did we've one in France,
we've one in Greece,
we've actually won in Italy a couple of years ago.
Anyway, it just made our trip feel extra special.
So if you're heading out this month,
consider hosting your home on Airbnb with the co-host feature

Answer, a new podcast called Wisecrack,

Does anyone know what show they've come to see?
It's a story.

Hi, I'm Kate Hudson.
And my name is Oliver Hudson.
We wanted to do something that highlighted our relationship.
And what it's like to be siblings.
We are a sibling rivalry.
No.
No.
Sibling Reveory.
Don't do that with your mouth.
Sibling
Reveory.
That's good.
How was Napa?
So I wish you were there.
I know.
It was so much.
You know what?
We should have brought everybody, all the boys.
Yeah.
The big boys.
It was so much fun.
Give me a quick rundown.
It was just the best.
And I had.
so much fun and I just
it was like I loved
every second of it and I was
super prepared for like a lot
of green to like just see people like
wandering around like not listening
right right because it's festival vibes
yeah I was like you know what it's 130
I'm going to go there but it was
absolutely packed
it was like I was so
like shocked
and happy
and it just felt like really good
energy and it was just like it was
crazy. I was like, oh my God, I brought in a crowd.
That's awesome. It was really fun. And then it was great and I got to see so many people that I
haven't seen a while. How was the hang? Awesome. Awesome. I have so much to tell you. It was so much
fun. I mean, we went out late. We went out to see like, you know, Billy Joe from Green Day,
like did a cover thing. We went out there to like really late. Then we ended up going back to like
so much fun. Well, I wish I was there.
I was so crazy as fishing.
I don't know what I was doing.
It was too much.
It was the kids.
It was Memorial Day, whatever.
I loved it.
I didn't have any kids.
I had like Ronnie.
It was like me, Ronnie, Danny.
It was so much fun.
Yeah.
And all my friends.
Now, listen, I am so excited about this.
Forget my weekend.
Forget your weekend.
Yeah.
But.
We get a reading.
We ever.
I'm so excited.
Yeah, because Kate considers yourself an Oracle.
We like the oracles.
Not as I would consider.
it's not a consideration it's like it I agree what do you mean there's no there's no proof okay well
let's ask astro twins but anyway yes the astro twins we get to there are our astrological charts
we get to have a good conversation with them very excited I was so excited we are so excited
this is like my favorite thing in the world to do yeah this is very exciting because first of all
you know, we have been living in this space since we were born because our mother is very much
into this, um, psychics, astrology, all of it. So I have made some of my biggest life decisions
based on reading. Oh, no. Yes, it should be as it should be. Hopefully from a good
Oh, that's right.
Yes.
She feels like she's more of a Saj, but I think she's more of a Scorpio.
Yeah, she's right on that cost.
Yeah.
Well, I had my chart done a long time ago.
Abershami.
Was that a same?
No, no, different name.
Rakesh.
Rakesh, yes.
And apparently I'm a Virgo, but I was more Libra in my chart than actual Virgo.
Yeah, you have a lot of Libra.
Mm-hmm.
It makes so much sense.
I don't know, I don't know what any of this means, but I know what you will.
I'm so excited.
Libra means liberated, right?
So I'm liberated.
How did you both get into this?
Like, when did this start for you?
I mean, God, I mean, we had a paper route together, speaking of siblings when we were teenagers.
And we'd have to open the middle of the newspaper to put like little coupons in.
And we wanted to win a prize.
So the horoscopes were in the middle of the newspaper.
And we did win the prize, actually.
So it's kind of cheating, but, you know, whatever, nine.
It was like a Detroit news contest.
But then in college, my boyfriend got my chart done, which were four minutes apart.
So same difference, Talley's chart too.
And I was like, whoa, what the heck?
How does this know so much about us?
And we just got obsessed, started doing all our friends' charts.
And, you know, how do you read or do you have a certain method to how you read, you know, is there?
You know, tuning into, it's a predictive natal plus transits.
But, you know, we put your time date in place of birth into our little handy-dandy calculator.
And then we get a map of the sky when you were born, basically.
You know, the chart looks like a 12-slice pizza, essentially.
And the pizza crust, as we call it, is basically the sky divided into 12.
Each zodiac sign gets an equal slice of the Monopoly board.
So, you know, from our vantage point on Earth, you know, Oliver the Sun was in the Virgo pizza slice when you were born in Kate.
The Sun was in the Ares pizza slice.
But we also look at every other planet, you know, planet and heavenly body, the moon, and then Mercury Marketer.
Venus. So in astrology, our way of looking at it is your birth chart is the map of the movie of
your life. The planets are the cast. You know, if you've ever done internal family systems
therapy, parts work, which we love, we think astrology is a lot like that because every planet,
you're not just your sun sign, you're your moon, your mercury, so you can pull the levers on
each of them. But they'll all wind up in a different zodiac sign based on your time of birth. And that's
kind of like the costume that the planet is wearing, like the sun is your main character,
so it'll be wearing Aries or Virgo.
The moon is like your best supporting, and that's wearing Capricorn or Pisces.
So it really, we all have the same cast, but they're wearing different costumes based on when you were born.
So interpreting that for people and then looking at where the planets are in relation to that now,
you can just unfold so much.
if that made any sense to you.
There's so much information.
No, I love all that.
And there's like, there's also like, I like looking at the hemispheres and how heavy things lay into certain hemispheres.
Also, I love the nodes.
Like, I got obsessed with the nodes.
The nodes are like, because I'm a Virgo North Node, which is wild, which makes so much sense in this part of my life right now, which is really interesting.
But anyway, Oliver doesn't know anything about this.
Wait a minute.
Wait a minute.
No, no, no, hold.
That's right.
Look, I'm not, I never dive head first into much.
And there is skepticism and everything that I do.
I like, you know, but I do believe.
You know, I believe in bigger energy, you know, I do.
But just historically, how did astrology and charting sort of come about, number one?
And then number two, how much if it is analytics and how much of it is intuition?
Ooh, that's great. Great questions. Well, it's been around since the ancient Babylonians and Chaldeans, and then the Greeks developed the house system. So, you know, it was in the Middle Ages, the astronomers and the astrologers were one and the same, like Galileo and Copernicus were astrologers.
Yeah. So it wasn't really eye-rolled until the 1700.
when, because the church got so superstitious about everything, and then the kind of rationalists
stepped in and, you know, scorned anything spiritual.
And then in the, yeah, so we're just, you know, if you really go back.
And they burned us all at the state.
Exactly.
But we came back.
But I guess, how do we know that it is accurate?
You know what I'm saying?
Like, it's a weird question.
These are Virgo.
Yeah, Virgo and the analytics.
You used a Virgo word analytics, which is, you know what?
How do you know, how do, we're still in the hypothesis stage right now until we discover this is all a Sims test and this is a secret code.
But I feel like how do scientists create their hypotheses?
They study.
They get a data pool.
So we've got, you know.
Got it.
of years of okay during this time of year this is constellation was once in the sky but this is
this geometrical slice of the sky is here on the horizon so this is it's just been studied and
studied there's also when you're sort of born with that thing that you are kind of afraid to say like
I think I have a certain kind of intuition or things happen to me that like
people who you would say are like, you know, the, or the doctors would say, well, that's leaning
towards schizophrenia or that's leaning, if you're hearing noises or if you're hearing people
talking to you, that could be considered something crazy. But when you, when you sort of are born
into it and you know you're not crazy, you're like, no, this is actually, eventually, I think
we're going to find out that there's something incredibly scientific about it. I think so, too.
And I just spent a whole drive listening to the telepathy tapes.
Oh, my God.
That just blew my mind.
What is that?
Oh, my God.
I cried for out.
I just couldn't stop crying because it makes so much sense to me.
For a little backstory, we did not mean to have this career.
We went to the University of Michigan.
I almost went to engineering school.
We went to art school.
But astrology kind of found us just out of a curiosity of.
like trying to figure out the guys
we were trying to date or friends or whatever
you know just as a like huh
but then we started to see patterns
and like there's more to it than this
and had a lot of weird yeah
and you do it together
yeah I mean I mean gosh
we've been doing it for 30 years now so
I was like oh my god Talley check out this
are you guys live are you living
do you live together? No no we're on opposite coast
I'm in Seattle I'm but I go
in New York all the time.
We actually have two apartments in New York City across the hall from each other that like
when we go there, we, you know, it's very.
Our future gray gardens, you know.
I love it.
And do you read the charts together and kind of like rap about it?
Do you kind of, for sure?
Oh, fun.
Yeah.
Like, I mean, we have, we split up our clientele usually because we have a lot.
Yeah, it's too much, too twins.
Yeah.
It's like, oh my God.
Now it's like, so your charts are exactly the.
same? One tiny difference. So like, yeah, just like a one degree difference. Yeah, the
sign that rules our romance house and our friendship house is like hers is Taurus. Scorpio. Mine's
Gemini sad, which is good, because we've always liked a different type of guy and that kind of.
Really?
But before we get into us, you know, but it's just so interesting as identical twins doing your
charts and having pretty much the exact same stuff with the exception of a few but have as sort of
using yourself as test subjects do you notice that everything else is pretty much spot on or does
some things deviate we're like oh this it's supposed to be this given our chart but you're over here
and I'm over here I mean those signs can express themselves in different ways um so when a transit
it'll happen, which is astrogeek speak for a planet moving through a different part of your
chart.
Like, Jupiter, the planet of abundance was in our fourth house, motherhood, home, and she got
knocked up and has her daughter.
And I moved to the other side of the country.
So, you know, we can, like, but the energies will influence us at the same time, but they
don't always influence in the same way.
Yes.
We're good test subjects for this.
Yeah, it's farmed to, like, check on twins.
I think we, yeah, we will experience those cycles similarly, but just in our own way.
And, you know, I think, you know, there's free will, I believe in past lives now from all the charts I've looked at.
So, you know, and just nature and nurture.
Can you tell, can you like say what kind of past lives we had?
Can you feel?
No, that's in the nose, the north and south.
I'm so excited.
September Owens feels like the start.
something new, whether it's back to school, new projects, or just a fresh season. It's the perfect
time to start dreaming about your next adventure. I love that feeling of possibility, thinking about
where to go next, what kind of place will stay in, and how to make it feel like home. I'm already
imagining the kind of Airbnb that would make the trip unforgettable, somewhere with charm character
and a little local flavor. If you're planning to be away this September, why not consider hosting
your home on Airbnb while you're gone.
Your home could be the highlight of someone else's trip, a cozy place to land, a space that
helps them feel like a local.
And with Airbnb's co-host feature, you can hire a local co-host to help with everything
from managing bookings to making sure your home is guest ready.

We sit down with politicians.
I would be the first immigrant mayor in generations,
but 40% of New Yorkers were born outside of this country.
Artists and activists, I mean, do you ever feel demoralized?
I might personally lose hope.
This individual might lose the faith,
but there's an institution that doesn't lose faith.
And that's what I believe in.
To bring you depth and analysis from a unique Latino perspective.
There's not a single day that Paola and I,

could be closing.

My name is Ed.
Everyone say hello, Ed.
From a very rural background myself.
My dad is a farmer and my mom is a cousin.
What do you get when a true crime producer walks into a comedy club?
I know it sounds like the start of a bad joke,
but that really was my reality nine years ago.
I just normally do straight stand-up, but this is a bit different.
On stage stood a comedian with a story that no one expected to hear.
On 22nd of July 2015, a 23-year-old man had killed his family.
And then he came to my house.
So what do you get when a true crime producer walks into a comedy club?
A new podcast called Wisecrack, where stand-up comedy and murder takes center stage.
Available now.

Power struggles, shady money.
drugs, violence, and broken promises.
It's a freaking war zone.
These people are animal.
There's no integrity.
There's no loyalty.
That's all gone.
In the 1980s, modeling wasn't just a dream.
It was a battlefield.
Book, book, book.
My deals.
Let's get models in.
Let's get them out.
And the models themselves?
They carried scars that never fully healed.
Until this day, honestly, if I see a measuring tape, I freak out.

When I read cards, like I, because I've been reading them since I was 19.
But when I read, like I never, I've never been a negative.
There's nothing, nothing about how I read is goes negative.
Yeah, good.
Yeah.
You know, do you know what I was saying?
You know, you go with your ratings and people are like, you know, this is going to be challenging.
This is going to be a difficult time in your life.
I hate when people do that.
Oh, it drives me crazy.
You don't have to do that.
Because you don't.
I know.
And everybody has challenges.
It's a different thing.
I see them as like blocked, these like blocked energy ways.
Like if you see something that kind of feels like it's challenging, it's like something's blocking.
And then you can go a little bit deeper and find out like what is actually underneath it.
Yeah.
And that's exciting when you get, you're like ready to take on a new phase of evolution.
Like life isn't supposed to be stagnant for most of us.
I mean, at least the most interesting people out there, you know.
Well, actually, I've asked a psychics that I've seen, because, you know, even with my therapists, when I go to therapy, like, I usually, there's moments where I'm asking them about their lives.
I'm like, this is not a session for me.
I've got them curious.
So I'm always asking, like, what if you're reading someone who's going to die at, like, 48?
You know what I mean?
I don't even look for that.
I'm like, don't even ask me.
What I'm saying, do you see that?
I'm not maybe, you guys, but, and someone I'm like, yeah.
I was like, well, how do you handle?
I mean, like.
Some astrologers do, there are predictive techniques that some astrologers use for seeing when someone may die.
But I choose not to go there.
We are not those astrologers.
That's like, that's not really interesting to me.
I feel like, I also feel like that's part of a contract that the soul makes before we come here.
So it's not for me to play God like that.
I agree.
But there's a gap in the business.
Maybe I will fill that gap.
Maybe.
I will just be the astrology of astrologists of death.
There are certain people that are really good with, like, health.
So, like, that's like...
Medical astrology.
Yeah, like, they're, you know,
and it's like almost like everyone has their thing, you know?
Yeah, I agree.
Or has, or just has a stronger connection to certain things.
Like, people will say, like, like, Maria, for instance.
Yes.
She's great with health.
And she can say, like, hey, what's going on with your friends?
friend with her stomach, you know, and then she can say, like, it's going to be hard and
like she, so she won't say like, she's going to, you know, die, but she will say that it's
going to be a process, and she's usually very accurate.
But that's helpful because you can go then get whatever screening you need to get.
Like, in that case, you know, I think as long as you're giving, that's, that's what people do
want to know.
Should I be worried about this?
They'll ask us.
Oh, yeah.
Maria's been worried about Oliver's liver since like 97.
Yeah, but here's the grain of salt you have to take with every second.
My liver is fucking amazing.
I know.
It's a beautiful liver.
All right, cool.
Let's go.
I'm excited.
Okay.
Well, we should talk about the nodes.
I think our brand of astrology is really life purpose, life path.
That's what we really like.
We're Sagittarians, so we're very optimistic.
You know, but the one thing that you, Oliver, I don't know if you know your big three, Kate, I'm sure you do.
But so the sun, the moon, and the rising sign.
Those are like, that's the lingo now is your big three.
So the sun is kind of how you shine in the world.
The moon is the part of you that the private part, the best supporting, and what you really need to feel nurtured.
And then your rising sign is like the tint.
Like if your sun sign makes you blue, your rising sign will make you powder blue or navy blue.
It's kind of how you project.
So you are your Virgo with an Aries rising and a Pisces moon.
Wow.
Yeah.
So Aries rising.
So you come across like a confident Aries sometimes or a little, you know how to puff up as needed.
but the moon, which is the inner you in Pisces, is actually very sensitive.
Yeah.
Crying on the outside.
I cry on the outside a lot.
Yeah.
Yeah, the Pisces moon really absorbs you're kind of like this sponge for everyone around you.
Your chart is, so the Libra, so the personal planet.
are sun, moon, Mercury, Mars, and Venus.
So you have Mercury, Mars, Venus, which are love, communication, as well as Pluto, which is kind of the evolving shadow part of you, all clustered together in Libra.
So that's where that's super Libra energy.
So that's where that interest in other people comes in.
Also could be very challenging to have critical sometimes, too.
they are in your chart, the sixth house, which is the Virgo.
So you want to connect, but you also will, you're, you have sort of an, you're an idealist
when it comes to people.
And sometimes one wrong move can disappoint you.
You also are probably very hard on yourself.
So after you meet someone, you can go back, why did I say that?
Like kind of the voices in your head, the post game debrief might be a little harsh there too.
And Saturn in the chart shows Saturn's like the ass-kicking personal trainer that'll like make you do the burpees, make you go to boot camp.
But like as you go through life, it really shows where you develop mastery.
So you have Saturn and Leo, which is funny because that's like the Hollywood sign in the fifth house, the Hollywood house.
So it's like it's almost like this like part of you that like wants to resist, you know, the whole LAC.
in some ways and like you know but you feel like I have to do this with depth with
strength with like this and that actually sometimes shows like somebody who is famous a little
later in life too with that and you have this special shape called a yard in your chart
the finger of fate this is all this case you've got a yacht I don't know about yads okay yeah yeah I don't know
about yods. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. It's like the pointer. So there's one, it's like a triangle
shape, kind of like a witch hat. So two planets that are what are called sextile to each other,
meaning they're friendly, but they're in, they're both in a challenging angle to one that they're
pointing at. So you have Saturn and you actually have a few of them. All the Libra planets,
point into your moon. So your moon. So your moon.
Moon is basically stressed out.
Now, Prince, I think Prince had two Yards.
Princess Diana had a Yad.
So you can feel like you're part of the special tortured souls.
Oh, my God.
This makes so much sense.
Oh, my God.
I'm a Yod.
I'm a Yod.
You're a Yod.
A Yod and a Yod.
And with the being the Moon in Pisces, which is in your 12th house, which is the house
of deep subconscious stuff, I mean, you got baggage.
What can I say?
Oh, God.
Dad, like, did such a number on you, too.
So it was just, like, double whammy.
It's like, your chart.
Yeah, your chart.
And then the disappointment, like, so soon.
I thought are y'all is good or best?
Well, I feel like you came into this lifetime to real, like,
I feel like you've had a lot of lifetimes or everything was just kind of calm status quo.
And you didn't fully appreciate it or feel, you felt a lot of.
little, like, flat. So this lifetime, you really chose to come in for some intensity. Kate was
talking about the north and south nodes of the moon. And don't worry, we're getting to you, Kate,
of course, you know. I hate to make an Aries wait. It's okay. I'm working on all those.
Okay, okay. The Virgo. The Virgo. Right. So, yeah, the, these two points in the chart,
they're opposite points. They're based on where the eclipses were happening closest to your time of
birth. And this is how Kabbalistic astrology works. It mostly looks at these points. The South
Node reveals your past life, or what you come into this life, having natural facility around,
but your purpose in this lifetime pulls you in the other direction. So you came in with a Taurus
South node. Taurus in the first house. So it's like the first house is a first born, right? So it was like
all about you and all your, you know.
in your earliest years.
Yeah, and he wanted to kill me when I showed up.
Literally.
Yeah.
Really?
Well, you have right next to your South notes,
if there's other planets or placements next to it,
they're influencing it.
So you have Chiron, the wounded healer,
and Black Moon Lilith,
which is kind of this belonging wound.
So, like, your past life brings in this desire to, like,
be a healer, but also to, like,
like, find a way, like you choosing yourself, even if that means kind of exiling yourself
from the values of the people around you.
So like, you know, your North Node, what you're here to grow into and learn is in Scorpio
in the seventh house of relationship.
So that's where, where Matt was getting his like, ooh, you know.
Yeah.
You know, see you at the strip club or whatever.
Well, also, you know, back to your south.
in tourists like
I think you liked things a certain
way. Taurus like certainty
and things not to change
and so but you had too much
of that like she's like Talley said in your past
lives so you
you're meant to learn
how to flow with change
but your north node is where you have
these lessons that especially the first
one really is abrupt
and you have Uranus the planet
of surprises there's no good way to say
that planet so I chose the fancy
way, together with your North Nodon, Scorpio, in the seventh house of partnership.
So probably when Kate was born or when your parents divorced or whatever, it was so shocking.
It shook you out of this kind of belief that you were walking around with that, like,
well, this is just how everything is always going to be.
And so when things change, especially in your relationships, it like spins you out.
this makes me want to cry
entirely
yeah change
but you're getting
so much better at it
like you're even like
going on location
like when I had to go
it would crush me
I feel like I was abandoning my family
and I mean it was
or even like going on vacation
I'd be for years
I'm like come to Europe
come with me come
and he would just be like
yeah the Torah South No needs that
like stability that comfort that
grounded home base.
Yes.
And then the Pisces moon at the pointer of the yacht is also in your 12th house,
which is a theme of guilt.
And like sort of this fear that you'll be lost at sea if you separate from your people too much.
But that's actually some, it's probably a belief from past lifetimes that you could start to challenge.
And I'm sure you have through some of the things that you've done and your healing work.
Yeah, we'd love your myambialic.
Hoffman
Yeah
That was really great
Yeah
That was cool
That was a great interview
Yeah
Now I want to do it
Question have you guys
Ever looked at human design
At all?
I love human
I'm upset
I love it
Yeah
It's like astrology on steroids
So we won't go too far
into it
But what I did see
Is Oliver is the type
projector
So
Of course
Yeah
And you're not
So I think you might
You're a generator
Like us
Yeah
So projectors are
supposedly came into being
when the planet
Uranus was discovered in 1781.
But it's this new type of soul
and they have to,
they're often overlooked
because they're supposed to wait
to be invited into situations.
So when they try to push into a situation
or be seen,
like they get this energetic resistance.
And they can become bitter
because what happens is they're like,
why doesn't, I know the answer,
I know how to help, I'm ready, I'm here,
why doesn't anyone see me?
So what they learn in their lifetimes
is how to kind of create this aura
to magnetize people to them
instead of trying to be picked.
So we want to give you a hug.
You're not a pick me, girl.
By the, all my kids are projectors.
I'm like, oh, my daughter is too.
How do you even leave the house?
Oh, my God.
I was like, oh, there's a,
It all, like, it started to make sense.
I was, like, looking it into all of it.
And I think Kurt, I think my dad is a manifester.
Oh, wow.
I think so.
I could be wrong, but I think he's a manifester, which is, I think, a really good sense.
Yeah.
Yeah.
September always feels like the start of something new, whether it's back to school, new projects,

It's the perfect time to start dreaming about your next adventure.
I love that feeling of possibility, thinking about where to go next, what kind of place we'll stay in,
and how to make it feel like home.
I'm already imagining the kind of Airbnb that would make the trip unforgettable, somewhere with charm, character, and a little local flavor.
If you're planning to be away this September, why not consider hosting your home on Airbnb while you're gone?
Your home could be the highlight of someone else's trip, a cozy place to land, a space that helps them feel like a local.
And with Airbnb's co-host feature, you can hire a local co-host to help with everything from managing bookings to making sure your home is guest ready.

What do you get when a true crime producer walks into a comedy club?
I know it sounds like the start of a bad joke.
but that really was my reality nine years ago.
I just normally do straight stand-up, but this is a bit different.
On stage stood a comedian with a story that no one expected to hear.

Power struggles, shady money, drugs, violence, and broken promises.

These people are animals.

There's no loyalty.
That's all gone.

things onto you. I'm not quite sure. Like, I'm still, you know,
I'm still learning more about human design. But what I do know is that it's a smaller
percentage of the population. So you live in a world where we're mostly generators,
which is people that are always like, go, go, go. And projectors try to keep up and get
exhausted. They need to actually rest and step aside and sleep till noon every now and then
or just get the hell away from all the pressure.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's fucking amazingly accurate.
It's literally me every morning.
It's like, I'm up.
I'm screaming literally everyone, including Danny, my partner,
who are all projectors.
Oh, my God.
My daughter had the day off today.
I'm like, it's one o'clock.
I'm like, get up.
Yeah, I'm like a Clyde's Dale.
She's a projector.
She needs to sleep, but she probably also stayed up all night.
um yeah yeah exactly wait i've got a date for you and i've got one for you too kate but a date to know
is april 14th 2027 saturn will have will cross so the very beginning of your chart which is
the eastern horizon if you're to look at the sky that's where you're ascending your rising sign
of april 27th 14 2027 saturn will cross
your ascendant and move into your first house.
Right now it's, yeah, Oliver's.
And it'll be, it's in your 12th house.
So you're really putting up a lot of boundaries probably right now, like really clearing
out things like the next couple years.
It's like, no, no, no, this doesn't work for me.
This does.
These are the conditions.
Setting up the right conditions to thrive.
But what I see happens a lot when Saturn crosses the ascendant and it moves into the first
house.
Like people really step out.
and like establish themselves in this whole new way and it starts this 29 years cycle.
So like there's a lot of maybe healing, forgiving, releasing, just studying with mentors,
psychedelic journeys.
Oh, yeah, get it all that, you know.
Yeah, shedding all those old beliefs and letting yourself, like, your family's going to be fine
if you take, if you do something without them.
Because the thing is your North Node is like a new language.
and your South note is like your native language.
So, you know, when you start to learn a new language,
you tend to like over-enunciate the words and everything.
So in relationships, you go overboard with them
and almost into codependence, sometimes maybe not anymore, but you did.
But there's always going to be this like, wait, I got to over-give or over-function.
Wait, I got to get away.
So that's just something to work on your whole, really for the rest.
Give yourself the rest of your life.
But this July is also really big for you, Oliver, for money or a work project.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Iranis, the planet I keep having to say, is going to go over your Jupiter.
You're just, this past year has been like a big, I don't know, if you had new thoughts about how you're using your money, making it.
Have you been writing or doing anything like, I don't know.
Yes.
The answer is yes.
producing more now.
I'm definitely thinking
of how to
you know
sort of branch out more as far as
as just being an actor, it's not lucrative enough.
You know, especially in how
anemic the business is right now. Great
money line with that Scorpio
North Node like actually
even crypto or technology
and I also see like maybe some
script writing, directing
maybe a streaming
or online kind of
series, I don't know, something along those lines.
I like when I hear writing.
That's all I want to.
Writing is very happy.
All of this makes sense, you know, because again, it's this, it's this feeling, and I always say this to Kate.
There's so much talent that I feel like I have.
There's so much potential that I know that I have as a creative person, you know.
and I get discouraged, I get ADD'd out.
Even when I was young, I would start something and if it got too hard, I would quit.
Ari's rising, yep.
You know, like, it's just like, oh my God, it's too overwhelming.
Fuck it.
No, I'll go fish.
I'll go fishing.
I'll go hang out.
I'll go read a book.
You know what I mean?
Like, that's much more enjoyable than, okay, I've got an idea for a script.
Oh, I'm going to do it.
Yeah, none of that for you.
You can't do the.
Yeah, it's hard.
No pick me girling.
No.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's, that's been my problem.
I think, I think you're going to leave them behind, though.
Yeah.
I was just say, it's okay, like comfort is really important for you.
It is.
South node, like, and the values are, you need like a blankie.
You need like your little writing blankie.
I know, I should get a blankie.
There's also strangely a perfectionist quality that I have that I can't just vomit it out and be like,
let me just write this fucking thing,
but I don't care how bad it is,
and I can go fix it.
For me,
it's like,
it's not perfect.
I'm done.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's all the planets in your sixth house,
which is the Virgo house,
the idealism,
the perfectionism,
like one wrong move.
So there's one part of you that's like a little bit lazy and entitled.
And then there's another part of you that feels like you're not worth it.
Can you say that one more time?
please i just need that i just need that it's like an affirmation for me it couldn't be more
true i was a definite lazy part of me that i've known and i am entitled being like this shit
everything is like why isn't this shit happening to me like i'm the best
saturn saturn and leo in the fifth house aries rising and yeah there's a lot of now kate doesn't have a
lazy bone in her body, I would say.
No. Like, Aries
Sun up in the 10th house,
Capricorn Moon, and a
cancer rising. So that's interesting
too. You have what's called
a T-square.
When planets make this
exact, sort of like an L-shaped.
A right triangle, yeah. Yeah, it's like
a, it's missing one point.
So your
sun and moon and Jupiter are all
at 29 degrees. I don't know if you
ever looked at the degrees before.
Yeah, that's rare.
It's called the anoretic degree.
It's kind of like having a yacht in the way it's a very, so every sign in the pizza crust is 30 degrees, but we go zero to 29.
So if anything's at that 29th degree, it's like holding all this energy.
So your Aries sun, you're just about a tourist.
So yeah, your Aries sun at 29 degrees is like the very end of this like powerhouse warrior energy.
Then you're a Capricorn moon, like you can really detach when you need to and get the job done.
And then you have Jupiter and cancer.
Jupiter's abundance and cancer is like this nurturing motherly energy.
So it's like you can just go like full mama bear, full like balls to the wall.
I've got the script memorized, boom, you know.
Whatever needs to happen, you're like stepping up as a leader.
the missing point would be 29 degrees Libra.
So it's interesting that Oliver has all that Libra.
So he kind of comes in and fills in for you.
Ooh, I love that.
He like does.
Yeah, the Libra forgets sometimes to be like person.
Like, no, you don't have to take care.
Let's cooperate.
Let's work together.
Like, you know, not that you're not a romantic.
I love to recall her daddy interview and how you mentioned being an Aries a few times.
and she didn't even quite understand.
I was like, come on, you're a Leo.
Like, get into the fire sign talk.
She is a Leo.
I know.
Yeah.
I was like waiting for her to, like, talk about being a fire sign with you.
Yeah.
He didn't take the bait.
We'll get her.
We'll get her on it.
Yeah, but that Libra energy, I don't know.
It's just how do you see that?
Like, do you see a place where you kind of could fill in a little more balance and partnership for yourself?
I think that's like what I have been learning in probably the last seven, six, seven years.
I turn into like a racehorse that like doesn't stop unless someone's like stop.
Yeah, which is very generator also in human design.
You just go, go, go.
So you're supposed to actually wait before you just respond to something because no matter what it is,
once you decide you're doing it, you're throwing yourself at it.
then you can get frustrated if it's not the right fit. So with your Aries sun being in this tug of
war with your cancer moon, it's like your inner and outer self are at war sometimes. So you're very
dutiful and you don't want to disappoint anyone, but then you could overpromise or something
like that or just be like, what did I just say yes to? And yeah, so that's like, that's something
that you learn. Also, with your Pisces South note in the ninth house, which is the
the abundant, worldly, optimistic, kind of, like,
I can do this.
Like, you'll get swept up in the moment.
And then your Virgo North Node in the third house is like,
you're kind of learning like, all right, how does this fit into my day to day?
There's, you know, you're, I hate when people say,
you have the same 24 hours in the day as so and so.
But you are definitely someone who can make 24 hours seem like a year.
You can get a lot more done than the average mortal.
but, you know, you also have Saturn and Virgo.
So that's the tension in your life.
Like, this is the thing about what I love about astrology.
It's like it doesn't all fit together like this neat puzzle.
There are parts of you that do not really sync up with other ones.
So you have to kind of decide which one is going to run the show in this situation.
So you have these Virgo parts that want to organize and calendar and schedule and clean the baseball.
boards and then you have these other parts that want to do these big dreams out in the world
and you know you're just trying to figure out how to do it all they're always they're always at
war you just stop in the middle of like you know reading something and clean a baseboard sometimes
just like it's meditative right yeah yeah i'll just like be in the middle of having that's
how i procrastinate i'll like i'll be like having to read something or i'll be reading even my
favorite book and I'll be like, I'll see
my, like, you know, a box in my office
and be like, I'm going to clean that thing.
Yeah, cancer rising.
Cancer rising.
Cancer rise. I'll do that.
Yeah.
There are so, this is like a really
amazing time to be in Aries
because two outer planets
have just moved into
Aries, one for the first time
in 165 years,
Neptune, and one
for the first time in 30 years,
Saturn. So you're,
So Mercury is how you communicate.
Your mercury is one degree Ares.
So you are going to feel like this whole new way of expressing yourself.
And I don't know if you've already been getting like tons of artistic downloads.
Well, you're singing.
You're doing a lot of music and Neptune.
Neptune is going to be hovering on top of your mercury for a couple of years.
And Saturn is just there.
Yeah.
So this whole new way of expression.
yourself in the world is getting this blessing of Neptune's imagination, creativity,
boundlessness, but Saturn's discipline and structure.
Saturn and Neptune don't always travel together because Neptune moves so much slower.
It takes 165 years to go through all the signs, and Saturn takes 29.
So they've been synced up in Pisces for the last few years.
So that's already, like the last year has probably been mega creative because you're very,
Venus and Pisces is getting hit by both of those.
And you've probably, I imagine, been in the studio and doing a lot of creativity.
I've felt like...
Yeah, not even just the studio, but just the resurgence of TV shows of a movie and music.
And yeah, I just busy, busy.
Yeah.
Honestly, to speak for my sister, I think she's getting finally, in my opinion,
getting back to her creativity.
Because I think business took over a little bit too much in my...
opinion for her. Yeah. And the movies and the TV was kind of sporadic and the music wasn't there yet. And then
boom, something shifted. And it's been creative, creative, creative. Oh, yeah. That was like late
23. Saturn went out of your eighth house, which is all about business and investors. You're probably
a lot of investors you had to answer to or behold into no crypto though. Yeah.
some kind of uh yeah yeah well yeah exactly yeah the kate coins coming out
don't buy that meme coin the meme coin oh my god oh my god but now so it's my mask yeah
yeah saturn is in your ninth house which rules sports funny enough so you had the
you know interesting isn't that wild so that is awesome that's crazy i know like did you ever
really think you do something like that, right?
Like that, I know.
I mean, you know, but I love it.
I was so happy.
Yeah.
And it's going to, you've got that for a while.
So it's going to be fun for you to keep doing that.
Yeah.
But, oh, I saw one thing.
There was a date that I wanted to tell you, which is June 26th, 20206.
Okay.
That is the date of your Jupiter return.
So every 12 years, Jupiter hits the same.
12 to 13 years, hits the same spot it was in when you were born.
So the last time that happened was like probably June 2014.
I don't know.
Look at summer 2014.
That was the last time Jupiter was close to 29 degrees of cancer.
Okay.
So, yeah, Jupiter is actually moving into cancer on June 9th.
So you can take the whole year if you want as your Jupiter return.
But because it's what that powerful, carmic 29th degree, that's that, that
exact moment will be a year from now, a year and some change. So you're kind, and it's going to be
crossing, it's still in your 12th house. So I don't know what, if there's something coming out next
year that you're working on, that's going to be, could be musical too. Yeah. But even this year,
when Jupiter's in the 12th house, I feel like where it is now for you, like so, like so many people
wind up like winning Oscars when they have Jupiter in the 12th. They're like awards. Like,
I think Beyonce went like solo when she had Jupiter in the 12th.
I mean, there's just, I don't know.
Jupiter, like both of you have some 12th house action, which fun.
Which is about manifesting.
I'm open.
I'm available.
Like, astrologers who are very analytical hate the 12th house.
Astrologers who are intuitive like us, effing love the 12th house.
What is the 12th house again?
It's a very last house.
So there's the opposite energy of.
Virgo. It's very not structured or analytical. It's manifesting. It's like, it's like, okay, that
defied scientific explanation. Okay. Yeah. So, and Jupiter is very exalting.
Yeah. It's like, ooh, like breath is abundant. And Saturn is structured. So it's kind of like
Kate gets to go out there, go far and wide with the woo and the man. And Oliver, you just need more like a
practice, like taking one step at a time.
like repeating a practice to really,
this is a great time to repattern any fear neural pathways
and resistant neural pathways
that you have like hypnotherapy, EMDR,
psychedelics, all of that.

We're actually in the process, Ollie and I is looking at our brains.
Yeah, we're like, looking at our brains. Yeah, we're like, looking at.
Absolutely, you should do that.
It's a great time to be an Ares.
You've got Neptune there for 15 years.
Saturn is a little bit of an ass kicker.
It's like going to make you work harder.
Slow down and like take your time.
Like I have an Aries friend who's like, maybe I should take 12 months to do the thing that I usually try to do in a day.
I was like, yeah, that's probably a good idea.
So give yourself a longer timeline.
The South Node right now is actually in Virgo until.
next summer. So for you, Oliver, there is some more soul searching and that kind of stuff to do.
It's not to say you can't have fun doing it. Kate's in her nodal opposition. So the south node is
where the north node was. So every 18 years, you have your nodal return and then your opposition.
So when you're nine, you have your first nodal opposition, meaning the north notes where the south
node was when you were born and the south node was where the north node was. So it's flipped. And the first
North node return when they come back to where they were when you were born happens at 18 or so.
So it's like when you go away from the fam ostensibly or go down to the basement, but you're
still like, F you, I'm doing things my way, you know, I'm breaking out of the comfort zone.
But then nine years after you, like, you have your, so you're in your, your nodal opposition now.
So it's like a time of balancing.
It's like, how do I bring this Virgo work ethic in with this Pisces flow?
How do I, you know, bring this intangible dreaminess into some kind of structured state?
Yeah.
Who do I not want to be anymore?
What are the roles I've outgloon?
I don't know why.
I love this.
That's so exciting.
It is.
I feel like I should say that you guys might write a book together about your lives.
Ooh, I like it.
Yeah.
So I don't know.
I just felt that soft a little bit.
So it could be a joint project.
yeah oh good 50 50 okay we're not doing anything else that's right there's your big money
there it is there's that entitlement right but you'll write everything um yeah right yeah yeah what were they
called the witch hats what were they called the yard yard so can you just explain those again
quickly like what they are yeah there's two planets that are kind of cooperating but they're both
and the stressed angle to one.
So there's, there's, there's, it's, it's called the, the finger of fate, um, you know,
people who have a bar mitzvah when they use the pointer to read the tour.
I'm sure you went to plenty of those growing up in L.A., you know, the thing they used to read
the scrolls.
So, um, yeah, so it's a very, it's a very sacred kind of point.
So whatever it's pointing to is, uh, takes on really,
great importance. So the yods are pointing to the moon
and what again and...
The tip of the witch's hat, yeah. And then we should show you
some visuals, you know, we have... I have them all like here, so...
Right, right, right, right. Yeah.
It means that that's like, like, like, how it, like, if you were to, if you were to
give the Yad with his, with his, with it pointing to the moon and Pisces, like,
what would be the elevator pitch? Oh, yeah. I love that. I would say. I would say.
that if you really want to manifest this spiritual, like, true emotional freedom,
you need to work through some things around ego, entitlement,
but also, like, a fear of rejection and being criticized by other people.
Yeah, it's big.
Yeah, there's just.
Always for my life, yeah.
It's all ego stuff.
It's ego stuff, but, I mean, but not in a negative way.
It's just because it's just how it's been built,
to pretend.
I would even say
look at the
hyra font card in
taro because
there's that
yeah okay
like there's that
that priest energy
the hyrophant is like
the high priestess in male form
like being a Virgo
too like that earthy magic
that you can access
but yeah
if you can
see yourself as
like what you're doing with the podcast
as the collector of
wisdom, the bearer of wisdom, as opposed to, like, waiting for other people, even though that's
sort of the projector, like, start, yeah, just being, like, trusting, developing a more trust in
your intuition, because it's actually a lot stronger than you give yourself credit for, I'd say.
And the card to move away from is either, like, the four of pentacles or the emperor, the sort
of, like, fold in arms, skeptical guy.
So like you're being shaped as a mentor now, I think.
And that's that date, that April 27 date is like stepping out as that confident mentor.
I feel like you're just about to be there.
But while still like, you know, the moon and Pisces is still like you don't pretend that you've got it all figured out.
Like a lot of empathy for other people who, you know, experience the feeling of never being enough, not being seen.
never knowing the right time to like jump in or jump out and it probably tortures you a lot more
than you would admit.
Oh, yeah.
I mean, I'm very sensitive.
Sensitive part.
It's huge.
I mean, you know, I'm Lexapro.
Anxiety in my 20s.
Like, you know, I feel like too much sometimes.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, that is the yacht.
It can feel that way.
You do feel, but it's like you're actually empathic and feeling a lot of other people's feelings.
You may not even realize it.
I do. As I'm getting older, I'm feeling I'm realizing that more and more.
I think it was more unconscious when I was younger, but now it's like, that's why I have to step
away sometimes from too much energy. I'm just like, I'm going to go to my room, like, because
it's like, I just can I everwhelmed with like humans. Well, yeah, totally. And that's the,
you're a spleen-driven projector too. So what you really need, I know that sounds so funny,
but my daughter is a, oh, in human design, the divine.
Yeah, you don't.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah, you may not.
But the splenic projectors are called like really needs quiet to hear their intuition
because they actually really do know what they want, but they can't hear it when there's too many people around.
What I would see from your chart in order to be whimsical is to give yourself permission to,
be alone more and because your space and your ability to be whimsical um depends on you being
okay with bound like it's all about boundaries like not feeling okay setting them you know and so like
waiting too long to do that maybe because you're you don't want to hurt people or you're you think
you should do something and then it's like yeah i mean i don't know that's what i would see in the chart
whimsy whimsy sounds like a good you're his sister you know well more of the
those caps and stems.
Yes, well, that's what I got to get.
No, but I like that.
It's such Oliver has always, like, just quiet.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, I'll go on my boat alone.
But it's interesting, like, sometimes when I'm alone,
it's like I should be doing something more.
I'm working on being okay with just me.
And no vices, no cigarettes, no liquor, no this, no that.
And just like, just me and not having this anxiety of like,
I should be doing something else.
Yeah.
I should be doing, but like, no, no, no.
you're fine just fucking show yeah that's hard for me you know yeah it is and the yacht is very much
the saturn and all the other planets are like putting that pressure like because what you're doing
is when you're alone with your thoughts you're thinking about where you're supposed to be you're
comparing yourself to how kate does everything I've been very comparing I compare myself killer
and I want to remind you both Pisces and the projector receive they don't push
So you're actually wasting your energy when you try to force something to happen.
When you create that space and allow, that's when all the stuff comes to you.
I know it's going to be hard for you to believe that with your thinking mind.
Yeah.
No, I know.
I wrestle with, sorry to make this about me, but like I just.
I mean, that's what a reading is.
I know, but Kate needs time too.
But I'm on a little bit of a moment.
But I just wrestle with that.
I wrestle with like, oh, just chill because I am very.
chill and then wait you're lazy i'm lazy and and entitled as well so it's like well get off
your ass and fucking do something you know what i mean when you're being lazy i think maybe you're
just really hard on yourself yeah you're not really lazy i'm not lazy lazy but i's kind of
better work ethic i i enjoy fun and being alone and being with my family than i more so than i do
sort of like getting after it like kate you know what i mean she gets oh yeah yeah
Yeah.
I'm like, yeah, it's too much.
Like, let's hang out.
It's okay to not.
It's okay, though.
Your Kate's chart is pure ambition.
Your son is in the 10th house, Capricorn moon.
Like, you know, and this lifetime is a little more of a chill one for you, Oliver.
Like, where you cut, it's okay.
Like, making space for quiet and rest is how all the ideas will appear for you.
You had, like, Kate's chart is more interactive.
active. But for you, it's like you have to pull back and be alone. And then you can probably do
something surprisingly quickly after you have that space. But it's 100% so true. And your chart also
is about helping people and making a difference too. So that can look any way you want it to. Like,
you know, what is it, you know, like, what would you, what is it that you think you're supposed to
have done or be doing? What are you, you know, what is it? Yeah.
I don't know.
I know.
Wait, wait, wait.
I have to say, Oliver, you are that person, though, in the family that is always, like, you're, you're, when it's not about you, when you're not in the center of whatever, a conflict or a situation.
When you are, it can be very hard.
Mm-hmm.
But when it's somebody else, you're, you're so peaceful.
and able to
and able to
sort of become the peacekeeper for
like you're a great mediator
you know
but if he's in conflict
I need to take my own advice though
that's the problem I don't
yeah the thing is
when you feel judged
that is what I probably
you're saying Kate when he's in the
conflict he thinks he's being accused
judge blamed and not
seen accurately
people don't see the good intentions behind what's going on.
And you're like, wait a minute, I needed that rest.
But now I'm being accused of this.
So you'll probably get defensive.
Yeah, and self-deprecation is huge.
That's how I deal with a lot of my, like, you know, insignificant insecurities, all that, like,
self-deprecation.
I feel like you need to embrace your role as the Eckhart Tolley of the family.
Yeah.
Oh, no.
He'll live on a bench for a year.
No, just like, he's just like, just be.
Yeah.
That ability to just be is really like a power.
It's like a superpower.
Yeah, there's this great video we have of Oliver when he was about maybe 10.
And he's like really like crazy, crazy.
And all of a sudden he just like stops.
And he goes into this like stare.
It was my birthday party.
Like a sixth birthday party.
And he goes into this, like, stare, and he's just, like, staring out into space, but, like, real still.
And it's like, Ollie?
Yeah.
Like, it's like I connected with something bigger.
Yeah.
And it was like, it was like, you were wild, and all of a sudden you went into this, like, place.
It's like, that's so funny.
Oh, my God.
You need to go more into that place.
Yeah, that's really so true.
I feel like you need a deck of tarot cards.
yeah i don't know to read them but i can get a book pull one a day and like just like journal on it
or whatever think about like what you see in it and read what it means what is the king of cups
it's a sensitive man or depending on how you read it's also like it can be water signs like
cancer it can indicate for me when i finished hoffman first of all you know i was psychic for two weeks
like the cleansing of your body.
I mean, it was like I could see things
and feel things that I've never felt now.
Yeah, until he came home and tried to like diagnose me
and I'm like, you're so off.
Like, what is this?
No, no, no, no.
Oh, God.
Well, that's where Kate gets all.
This is the issue.
This is what's wrong with me.
This is wrong with everybody.
And I'm like, I feel like.
No.
Kate's like, oh, I've done that.
I've done that.
I've done that before.
And I did, I did that kind of therapy.
You know, but Kay, you love this.
She goes, no, no, no.
It's not my thing.
But anyway, I was like psychic for a minute, you know.
Yeah, for sure.
And the King of Cups, this king started coming.
It was my sort of spirit guy when you go through the process.
And it looked like the King of Cups.
Then all of a sudden, like the King of Cups, he starts popping up.
And it was, I read about it.
And I was like, oh, my God, this is connecting so much with that card.
I know what it is.
What do you say it is?
Well, I think, like, if you were to look at the card,
I can show you and you can read about
the King of Cups, it's like, it's like
the opposite of both of our
paternal figures.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
It's the...
A caring father?
Well, no, we have
a very caring father.
Kurt's very caring. Yeah, he's very
King of Cups. But he...
Well, but he's also, he's...
He's not...
I see Kurt is more of like a sword.
Mm-hmm.
Even though he is a Pisces,
like his energy is directive it's it's action it's action oriented and um there's one specific
card where he's like the king of cups where he's like sitting on a rock and there's like a
fish under him and like a boat going or went in the distance i'm i was like ooh i mean everything
everything was me there's so much well we actually um one we put your chart so we made this
little tool that puts your chart in a blender we wrote a book about it called the astrology
advantage and it's uh it basically takes her whole chart and whittles you down to an archetype so you
can just remember one thing and um oliver you are well kate you're the tide turner and oliver you're
the wind shifter so which means that most of your planets are air signs if we take the sum
total of your chart and they're also cardinal signs which we call the
innovator. So air needs to breeze around and blow. So like you're, you come, both of you have a
very, like, significant role. The tide turner. So you're mostly water, actually, Kate.
Yeah. So we're the same as us. So your cart, both have very cardinal, heavy charts, which are
pioneers, trailblazers, interested in like new ideas, new concepts being on the edge. But
you do it in just slightly different ways.
Like, Kate will go, like, put her dive in wholeheartedly, you know, not that you're not
both empaths, you know, but Oliver, you just might need a lot of variety, too.
You might need a lot of conversations, a lot of thinking, a lot more intellectualizing,
where Kate might be more about intuiting.
That's why you're so into all the fun, taro, astro stuff like us, yeah.
Wait, what did you call all?
a wind what?
A wind shifter.
A wind shifter.
Yeah, we'll send you the kale.
And then what's the tide turner?
The tide turner is mostly cardinal, so you're, and mostly water signs.
Like somebody who comes in, well, Ophi, do you want to describe it?
Yeah, you, you know, you come in and feel out the situation and then shift it in the right
direction, so.
Yeah, you're both, you're both people who come into a room and change the vibe of it with
that, you know?
but hate might do it more through
like feeling everyone out and getting their details
and Oliver might just be like
okay I can see what you need
and more advice see in that way
it's why we throw great parties
we just like turn and shit
like we just
just take controls the tide
I control the wind at the party
and let's go sailing here
and then watch out for the beach
and everything that lives on it.
Oh, my God.
Exactly.
Exactly.
It's the same crap.
It's the same crap.
Okay.
This is too long and too much fun that we're going to have to split this into two,
yeah.
Two, you know, episodes.
You just keep talking.
I'm just going to say, yeah.
You're going to go into your thinking cave.
And I'm going to say that it's time we need to pause and then we're going to do a part
too.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Just just hang on two seconds.
and then come back for the second, the second half.
Because it's too much fun.
Thank you for listening.
Yeah, exactly, exactly.
