This is an IHeart podcast.
September is a great time to travel,
especially because it's my birthday in September,
especially internationally.
Because in the past,
we've stayed in some pretty awesome Airbnbs in Europe.
Did we've one in France,
we've one in Greece,
we've actually won in Italy a couple of years ago.
Anyway, it just made our trip feel extra special.
So if you're heading out this month,
consider hosting your home on Airbnb with the co-host feature
you can hire someone local to help manage everything.
Find a co-host at Airbnb.ca slash host.
I'm Jorge Ramos.
And I'm Paola Ramos.
Together we're launching The Moment,
a new podcast about what it means to live through a time,
as uncertain as this one.
We sit down with politicians, artists, and activists
to bring you death and analysis from a unique Latino perspective.
The Moment is a space for the conversations
we've been having us father and daughter for years.
Listen to The Moment with Jorge Ramos and Paola Ramos
on the IHeart Radio app,
podcast or wherever you get your podcasts.
I just normally do straight stand-up, but this is a bit different.
What do you get when a true crime producer walks into a comedy club?
Answer, a new podcast called Wisecrack, where a comedian finds himself at the center of a
chilling true crime story.
Does anyone know what show they've come to see?
It's a story.
It's about the scariest night of my life.
This is Wisecrack, available now.

Hi, I'm Kate Hudson.
And my name is Oliver Hudson.
We wanted to do something that highlighted our relationship.
And what it's like to be siblings.
We are a sibling rivalry.
No, no.
Sibling rivalry.
Don't do that with your mouth.
Sibling, revelry.
That's good.
Olivier.
I want you to know that I'm in heaven right now
because I'm doing a shoot.
Sounds like hell.
No.
What do you mean?
I'm excited.
It's going to be fun.
Yeah, but you like that stuff.
I hate photo shoots and press.
Gratitude, Ollie, it's the new year.
I can hate things.
I can still hate things.
But you should be so grateful.
But I'm getting my nails done right now for tomorrow.
You know, they're trying to make the sets really small to get my feet,
my toes done, and my nails done today.
Gratitude.
Gratitude.
But I just made homemade pasta with my new pasta.
the insert on my kitchenade
that mom-paw got me for this.
It was my first homemade pasta
with that machine
and I made a rigatoni,
a real simple rigatoni
with a tomato and cream sauce
and it was...
Nice.
Smoking!
I know. I love
cooking. That's my new thing.
I was listening to
Stern today
and Seth Rogen was on. It was from
a couple years ago, but, you know, he's heavily into pottery.
And his stuff is fucking amazing.
Go on to his Instagram account.
Look at some of this stuff.
It's awesome.
That's so cute.
I want a hobby, though, like that.
And I think it's going to be outdoor over fire cooking.
I'm obsessed with it.
I've been reading.
Wow.
He's like really into it.
Yeah.
He's got a whole kiln and garage of pottery.
He makes like millions.
He makes like six different things a day.
I mean, he's very prolific, but some of them are awesome.
It's really useful.
Do you think he'd give me one of these or would I have to pay for?
You'd probably have to pay for it.
I mean, he's got so many.
How much do you think he charges for his pottery?
I don't think he sells it, do you?
Well, you can't have a setup like that and not sell it.
I mean, I think he's doing potter.
because the word pot is in pottery.
So it's like per, it's like pottery.
I love this.
Let's see here. Hold on.
Hey, Siri.
God.
Does Seth Rogan sell his pottery?
Why would Siri know that?
Siri has limited knowledge.
He does not sell his ashtrays.
That's too bad.
Well, I'm sure if he listens to this, which I know he does every week,
he'll give you one.
I hope so.
Maybe he'll come on.
He should come on and talk about his hobby.
Anyway, all of this to say is that it inspired me this morning in a way.
I want a hobby like that.
And I know what I really love right now.
But the problem is it's not really a hobby because this cooking,
I've been reading these books on this open fire cooking.
And it's gotten giving me a boner.
Just big boners.
It's so fucking cool.
I love it.
I love that.
That's great.
Yeah.
So I'm designing a grill.
I'm designing a grill with an iron worker.
No, to buy.
Oh, really?
Mm-hmm.
With who?
Which iron worker?
Just this guy.
Stop it.
Stop it.
You don't know enough about cooking on an open flame.
I'm learning.
To create a grill.
It's like the car before the course.
No, no, no, no.
You're right, but have blueprints from this guy that I really like.
Is this your boy?
What happened with that guy who, like, you went all the way down there?
He, like, wasn't there.
I texted him actually on years or the next day, just to wish for my Happy New Year.
That's what I do.
I go through my Rolodex.
I go through like all my contacts.
I'm like, Happy New Year.
Happy New Year.
Happy New Year.
Really?
I didn't do any of that this year.
Let's talk about what we did.
I did nothing.
I went to the desert.
I hung out with mom and pa.
I was so happy.
Did you stay up?
No, none of us did.
We were like kind of, what should we do?
It was a little cold outside.
We like made a s'more.
Then we came back in.
We're like, should we make a drink?
Yeah.
Literally once more.
I was like, should we make a drink?
I was like, I had one drink.
And then I was like, I'm exhausted.
I just want to go to bed.
And so I thought about how nice it was to not have any pressure for the night.
Then I said the mom would ever be the way it used to be when we used to like, like, well, I still want to throw our party that we do.
Fuck, yes.
Are you crazy?
Let me tell you something.
If you said to me, hey, look, let's just throw a party and there was no COVID, you know, I would have been like absolutely not.
There's no what.
We do something small at your house.
Remember a few years ago we did that sort of throwback 20s dressed up party?
That was so fun.
Yeah, that was before Danny and I were together.
That was a fun party.
Danny came that night.
He came to the party and with his brothers, you know, because we've known them forever.
And we danced, we danced that night, didn't we, baby?
I don't think he has recollection.
There's in the living room?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, we were like viving each other.
They were flirting with me, big time.
I wasn't.
I don't flirt when I'm with people.
He's being funny.
Everyone's going to flirt when you're with somebody.
They're still flirty.
You know, you can't just be cut off.
Danny, no.
Danny flirts.
Danny flirts with certain lenses and grow ops.
With strobe lights.
Yeah, he flirts with certain buds.
Oh, my God, speaking of which, you know, Danny's been growing.
This was like the new year thing.
He's been cultivating these beautiful pot plants, like, unbelievable.
I mean, every day, all day, taking care of them.
And he finally cut them down right before New Year's.
And now it's, what is it called?
Curating?
Curing.
And now he's curing them.
Where are we at in that process, Daniel?
Well, we is not any part of this. This is Danny.
No, because I get to smoke it.
You can buy it from Danny.
He's going to sell it.
You know what's been amazing about the process is also learning through Danny about the plant.
Well, when I first grew weed with John when we were in high school,
we grew these plants that were like 100 feet tall.
We didn't understand the process, though, of the maturation.
of the plant.
We didn't know that we smoked the bud.
We just thought we just smoked weed.
And so we dried it out way before it had even flowered
and just stripped off all the leaves
and rolled eight billion joints.
And John had put so much pesticide on it
because he saw like a little fruit fly.
And he's like, oh, shit.
So they looked like ET, like when ET was sick.
It was like white.
We didn't know what we were doing.
I mean, we had no idea what we were.
were doing but it was it was fun it's a fun process they're like your babies yeah yeah it's been
fun for danny i like gardening and growing other things too it's not because i can like some major like
weed no you don't even smoke weed that's the irony of this is dan i like growing weeds yeah yeah
it is a magical plant it's a there's no plant like it's it's really um because danny is into
Horticulture.
Why do you say it like that?
Just because it's a funny word.
It sounds very like
Horticulture.
It's very into horticulture.
He loves,
he's a bit of a green thumb,
you know.
He loves it and he does.
He's been planting all kinds of different things
and then the marijuana plants
were really special.
Like it's just so beautiful.
It's crazy.
When you see these plants grow
and watching them grow
how symmetrical they are and watching the process
and how they flower and everything.
It was really...
But especially how temperamental they are
and the care that goes into cultivating them
and growing them, you have to pay so much attention
and give it so much love and care
and all of these different factors
have to be in perfect balance for the plant to thrive.
It's really amazing if you like to grow part of things.
But where did the weed...
Like, where did this, I mean, where did this plant grow naturally, then, if it takes so much.
For thousands and thousands of years.
That's not what I mean.
What I mean is, you're ready?
I got the answer right here.
Okay.
From sites where prehistoric hunters and gatherers lived.
Oh, back to the hunter-gatherer, allings is my favorite.
Love this stuff.
Which, by the way, all over the other day wrote into our family group text.
That's what I am.
Arbitrary.
He called New Year's Arbitrary.
It is.
An arbitrary day.
It's not.
No, it marks the beginning of a new year.
There's nothing arbitrary about that.
It's not made up.
It is.
It's an arbitrary day.
We don't have to get into this.
We've created a new year.
You know, we've created months and we've created time.
The founder was created for a purpose.
And that purpose is crops.
Yeah, who got the crops?
Who got the crops?
Bob MCs.
It was high when I wrote that little note to everyone.
And it just came to me.
It was interesting because it's the one time of year.
Listen to me.
It's the one time of year where hope is alive.
It's where everyone is hopeful for something new and better.
I think in that moment, in that 10 seconds,
when people are counting down to the new year,
there is more optimism in the world.
than pessimism.
There's more hope than there is not.
And it goes away, but right in that moment,
people are like, it's going to be a good one.
Like, there's more joy in those 10 seconds than there are
throughout the entire year combined.
It's almost like we should,
there should be like a Friday countdown,
like a weekly countdown of joy and optimism for the weekend.
And it's like, you know,
when the clock strikes like six,
your weekend is really started.
So like at 5.59, everybody gathers around and then there's 10 seconds and it's like 10,
nine, you're like, yeah, we're going.
At least you get that feeling once a week.
I know.
You're right because I do believe in like collective energy and like prayer and how effective it is
when there is when people pray collectively or like you said like there's like so many people
are hopeful and optimistic in that moment that has to.
shift the collective consciousness
it has to shift it
it's not a band
no collective soul
collective soul
yeah it's a band
um
Ollie
so we didn't
what did what was your favorite Christmas
present? Wait well first of all my new year's
I didn't we didn't oh my god
oh yeah yeah no please tell me that this
was not
oh Oliver
it was recording but
I hope it just plugged in all the way
My mic
Well
I think it was
My New Year's
I was camping for three nights
In Sanny Inez
On this mesa that was incredible
Hold on
Hold on
Danny wasn't recording
We weren't recording
Who?
Allison
You weren't recording, Kate?
No.
Happy New Year.
2021.
That was some good shit though in there.
Well, we can figure it out.
We'll be fine.
Allison's like, why am I with these two idiots?
Okay.
We're back.
You know what?
I feel like we figured everything out.
We're on track now.
Um, but we, I didn't, I didn't talk about my new year.
My new year camping, it was amazing up on this mesa in San Diego.
Yeah.
And I got to use your Christmas present, which was a grill that I really wanted, which was sort of a hardwood grill, hardwood charcoal grill.
And I cooked all, I cooked lunches and dinners on and it's just so fun.
Was it great?
Did, how was the grill?
It was great.
I mean, it's awesome.
Is it like a grill you'd use again or is it like?
Oh, no, 100%.
It's for camping, so I won't use it here at the house.
You know, I have the green egg.
Yeah.
And then I've got the kudu that Wyatt got me.
And then I got your grill and then mom got me a grill.
All I got with grills and no shoes.
All grills and no shoes.
Yeah, because your shoes are like $500.
You just sell them.
That's absurd.
I've never sold one pair of shoes.
But you're about, you're going to.
You're going to.
No, I'm not.
I don't need to.
I've made big time investments.
No, I don't need to sell my shoes.
But anyway, cooked amazing steak, but I took some veggies through them in the ash.
You know, I'm trying to, it's good.
Everything was great.
And the New Year's was like you, though.
I mean, it was dark by 630 and we were done.
I mean, I was.
So tired.
So tired.
But we drank, Aaron drank.
Aaron drank.
Oh, Aaron.
Aaron.
I love an Aaron.
Aaron's New Year's drunky is so funny.
It's the funniest.
This was an all-timer.
I mean, an all-timer.
No.
I hate that I missed it.
She was so great.
I put her into bed at 11, like, 54.
I was like, you can't even go six minutes.
We need, you got to go to bed.
Why?
What was she doing?
We were just drinking wine in the day and, you know, it was beautiful day on this mesa
and there's a lot of places to sort of walk around.
And we were just drinking, hanging out.
And, you know, by 10 o'clock, 1030, it kicks in.
You realize you've had a lot to drink and boom, it hits you.
Well, no, I know how people get drunk.
I mean, it's not what I was asking.
What did you ask?
I want to know.
like what happened with her?
Like what was so on another level?
Oh, you know when Aaron just gets like super fun and crazy.
And then it just gets like, ah, and you kind of don't understand everything that she's saying.
And then, you know.
Oh, it's my favorite thing because it just doesn't happen often at all.
It's like once a year.
Once a year and usually it's a year.
She saves it for the Halloween party.
and Christmas.
I mean, in New Year's.
And New Year's, yeah.
And she went there.
And even on a very mellow New Year, she's like, fuck it.
This is my time to get this way.
So I'm going for it.
Oh, that's so funny.
But it was great.
I had battery issues, though.
So today I'm home.
And I've been in watts, volts, hell.
I've been trying to learn about batteries and, you know, how they all work.
and oh because it was freezing at night
and I had to run my furnace
which takes battery power
the batteries ran out at like 3 in the morning
we were freezing I had to go turn on generators
I just didn't get it right this time
right so now I need more education
and I was reading all day
about 12 volt batteries
and how they operate
the whole RV thing
and trying to figure all that out
it's like for me of all of the things I want to do in my life and learn about and be a part of
that is not it now see I'm the opposite I love it so much that's what Danny and I are a perfect
like he loves all that stuff but you know what you know what honestly today has made me realize
or gotten me more excited about as sort of sustainable solar energy you know and learning about
how solar panels work because I have a I have a hundred I have a 170 watt solar panel on top of my
trailer to power my battery but learning about how many batteries you need how many panels you need to
power the amount of appliances or electronics that you have in your home and it's really fucking
cool and you can start small you don't have to go huge like you can get a couple panels and
power a few things and then build out from there and I think I'm going to start doing that
I think that's a good idea.
You know, every time I've always wanted to go totally solar in my house
and I've had two, now three different people come out who do solar panels
and they basically just like turn me away.
They're like, no, we can't do it here.
And I'm like, what do you mean?
What does that mean?
I don't know why.
And do they give you a reason?
I mean.
No.
They're like, we're out of here.
You're like, wait a minute, why.
I just say, okay.
Okay.
Thanks.
Thanks.
This is a great time to pick up some Sikara.
You know what?
I'm actually going to do a Sikara in a couple weeks.
I'm going to Sikara.
I'm making it a verb.
No one's done that before.
Oh, shit.
You just too Sikaraed.
Yeah, I just sikaraed it.
What is Sikara?
The actual meaning of a lot of it.
the word. It means abundance
of wellness.
Does it? No, but
it should. Oliver,
that is so good. You're so clever
Ollie. I love when you come up with
those things on the top of your
head. Thanks.
Sakara, my favorite meal
delivery service, Sakara
is a company that I
have known for a long time. Actually, when they first started,
they sent me over
their meal plan, and
I did it, and I absolutely loved it.
So I was one of their first fans, and they are plant-based.
They are a meal delivery system that is amazing.
So if you want the restart, we're in the new year.
This is the time.
Yep.
You can do three, five days, and everything is chef curated, all new meals.
Everything's tasty.
Oliver loves his.
The metabolism super powder.
Yep.
Oliver loved that.
That's for my gut health, my energy.
my immunity, it makes my skin glow, like, do, it's really, like a dewy skin, which is really nice.
Healthy is hard.
It's not easy, you know.
I mean, you have to go out of your way to learn how to cook things that are actually good for you
because it's not the way we've either learned how to cook or it's just not readily available to us.
And so they are a really good way to kind of start.
Start it off, get inspired, and kind of reset your whole system.
And it's all there.
It's not just food.
There's supplements.
There's teas.
They kind of give you a full holistic approach.
Right.
But they're ready to eat meals.
We need to explain this for those who honestly haven't heard this ad from us.
But they are ready to eat meals.
It's all plant-based, plant-rich ingredients.
They're designed to boost your energy to.
to help with your digestion
and they're yummy at the end of the day.
They're just very, very good
and you couldn't ask for a better time
to put your order in.
Tell them, Molly, tell them.
Started off right.
It's 2021.
Clean out the system, man.
So right now, Sakara is offering our listeners
20% off their first order
when they go to sakara.com slash sibling
or enter code sibling at checkout that Sakara.

Get on the left train
Don and Day.
Do you think they still own the rights to that song?
It's such a KOR's song.
That was a while ago, though, but that's why it lapsed.
I know.
But Kores Light
has been in my life for a long time
it's been our life for a long time
Coors Light many of them were in my belly
over New Year's
which was a few days ago
Ollie because
you were chilling
and it is a beer that is made
to chill
to chill I was chilling
yeah so what did you do
you just reached for that
well you know what I did
I put them in my cooler
I waited for the mountains on the bottles
and the cans to turn blue
that's when I knew
that it was time to go
to guzzle
to go through
to go through
oh yeah it was rhyming
yeah they get blue
and then you drank
and it is crisp and incredible
and you're not going to get a colder refreshment
it is made to chill
it's cold loggered it's cold filtered it's cold
packaged it's literally cold
beer we always have to mention that
because, you know.
Yep.
That's where we from.
I know.
And it's all about being cold.
Mm-hmm.
When it's cold outside and you're like skiing or you're hiking or we took a hike up right.
Remember when we took our hike up to the, and it's a little brisk and you have a cold beer.
There is just nothing like it.
Oh, my God, a cold course light in the snow on like a sun deck, you know, but in the snow.
I love it.
You got your glove on,
you got a glove on,
but you're drinking a cold Coors Light.
It doesn't get better than that.
Oh, so bad.
So Coors Light is the one that we choose
when we need to unwind
just so everyone knows that out there.
So when you want to hit reset,
reach for the beer that's made to chill.
Get Coors Light in the new look
delivered straight to your door
with Drizzly or Instacart.
Celebrate responsibly

Golden Color Rock
Wait, I have some things that I want to say about the New Year.
Ollie, I didn't do any resolutions this year.
I didn't even think about the things that I want.
You did?
We had a fire.
We were camping, so we wrote stuff and threw them in the fire.
I didn't do anything like that.
I didn't even...
Yeah, but it's all the same shit.
It's the same thing.
that I wrote when I was 17, nothing's changed.
I was just, I found a journal from like 1997 or something about,
and my New Year's resolutions were in there.
I'm like, this is fucking crazy.
It's the same.
I can't get rid of these things.
I think you talked about that last New Year's on the episode.
I probably did.
I think you just said the same thing that you said a year ago.
Yeah, but we have new listeners now, so they'll appreciate it.
Well, what do you want to resolve?
Well, this is a good thing.
You know what I've been thinking about lately?
Sharks.
Interesting.
Dad.
I was thinking, I've been thinking a lot about dad.
I've been thinking about our sisters that we don't spend any time with and our brother.
Brothers.
We've got four siblings we don't spend any time with.
And I was thinking.
about how everybody's getting older.
I was talking with Uncle Mark
and he, him and I were, you know, texting and,
and I just had this moment of like, you know,
it would be nice to connect a little bit,
especially with my sisters.
Because especially we've been talking so much about
sibling relationships and distraught relationships or good,
and we're sitting here.
and we're like, we've got the best family.
Like, we're so great.
And yet we don't ever acknowledge the fact
that we have four other siblings.
Four.
Yeah, so I've been thinking a lot about the Hudson's,
thinking that it's important that we reach out
to all of our siblings
and maybe connect with them a little bit.
And then I've been thinking about my health
and feeling like that is the priority of my life now
because I want to live a long time for my kids.
But I really been thinking about how I don't want my life to change that much since COVID.
Like I had this psychic reading and I've got all these movies coming out and they're like,
well, by June, everything's going to pretty much be back to normal and people aren't going to wear masks
and only people are going to, you know.
And I was like, I'm scared.
I don't want to go back, you know.
I'm sort of like in a weird way.
I'm enjoying the intimacy of our family.
and the closeness, and then I have this,
I don't have to be anywhere or go anywhere, you know.
I'm loving it.
And, you know, I'm just, in my head, I'm like,
I want to keep that going, you know.
I'm loving it.
Yeah, no, I don't disagree with you,
but I think that it's been long enough
to where I'm hoping that that has solidified,
meaning it's not just a passing moment and time
where now we all just separate and go do our own things.
I think it's been ingrained a little bit
where family means more
and being together means more than it ever has
and will continue to feel that way and be that way
even though we are allowed to be out in public
and do our thing, you know?
Yeah, I hope so.
I hope so.
And also just like work and travel, you know,
this is the first year.
You're excited to travel.
I haven't been on a commercial.
This is maybe the longest that I have in my entire life.
I'm not kidding.
My entire life.
not been on an airplane.
Oh, I haven't.
I haven't flown not one time in like,
shit, a year and a half maybe.
Because I drove to Colorado last Christmas.
So I haven't even, it's been.
Oh, yeah, and then you didn't even come to New York.
No, because of COVID.
No, you got sick.
I got sick.
It was right at the beginning of COVID.
No, he had influenza A.
I did, but, no, it's, it's been over a year and a half, I think.
That's crazy.
I know, I know.
The first half is going to sound like crap because I let Allison down and didn't hit the report button.
I know, but see, this is what people want.
They want our first episode in the new year to be really raw and authentic.
Kate, where's your mic?
In my vagina.
You could talk about your balls all the time
But the second a girl says
Guys can talk about their penises
The second a girl is like
My vagina
And they're like
I know there's a double standard
But I don't like it
There's such a double standard
I don't care
I'm going with the double standard
I know but you know what here's the thing
I don't even like girls talking about
I don't like the smells of any
That's like not my thing
Like guys who fart
Like you're a farting thing
Like, it's just gross.
Let me ask you a question.
So when girls do it, it's like, I get, yeah, the double standard is shitty.
It should never have that.
But even like when anybody does it, I don't care.
I don't want to talk about how your balls smell or what your vagina feels like.
Of all the men that you know, of the men that you know in your life, right, including Danny and the brothers and me, why a paw, whatever.
Whose balls do you think consistently smell the worst?
Well, first of all, I've never smelled.
any of my brother's balls.
No, no, I'm not saying that you know.
I'm saying who would you think, like, just from, like, who would you guess?
Oh, this is a good question.
This is a good question.
I would say it would be a tie between.
I have to say, I think, I might have some musty balls.
You probably don't.
I would have to agree with you.
I think that's probably.
I think it's a tie between Michael.
and there's another put another bleep over that
would that would that be your call
yeah we got to name this episode
the ball drop
okay well that was good
what is your resolution
um
I don't know
man it's it's it's boring stuff it's the same it's it's be free be fearless you know just love hard and
don't be afraid and i feel like you definitely need to change these up it's the same shit all the
time i don't want anything else and by the way i get better and better at it but it's just the same
stuff you know it's not like sail around the world or you know anything that's my by the way that's
my ultimate bucket list.
Sailing around the world?
My ultimate bucket list.
There's a couple things that I'm going to do.
I want to sail.
I want to get a schooner.
I want to take my kids.
And I want to literally sail the world.
Yeah, but you want to be a passenger on the boat or like sail it?
I'm not going to be in like a dingy.
Like a starfish.
I'm not going to be in like or what are they called a sunfish?
The sunfish.
It's like sailing the world in a sunfish.
No, I'm not like trying to break any records.
All right.
And I want to sail the world.
I want to check out and I want to, I'll do, you know, I'll do little work here and there.
But I'll take the year and I'll be on a boat.
Mm-hmm.
And I'll go, plan it out and you do it all the right way, right?
So you get to all the fun spots.
Yeah.
Maybe you do all of the, you know, the islands around.
Is Danny going?
I hope so.
I mean, he's going to take his camera and document the whole thing and make, we're going to make a movie out of it.
oh and we'll talk about what we learn and then we'll go do like some you know charitable stuff
during the time and go do world food program stuff can be called around the world in 80 days
it's a good title really really profound and clever it's a very good title um but not this year
this is not a resolution to accomplish in 2021 no but it's definitely like a bucket list yeah it's a bucket list
when, like, Ronnie's, like, 12?
Right.
My New Year's resolution is just to sweat again.
Oh, we need to get you sweat.
Tomorrow it starts.
Great.
This isn't good.
This is great.
But I'm saying it's time to get my shit together, you know.
Anyone who starts the New Year before Monday is crazy.
You know, I mean, that's weird.
Because New Year's was on the weekend, basically.
So it's like, oh, fuck it.
I can't start now.
got away till Monday.
Yeah.
If all should be forgot,
how did I said you?
This is like a Jewish version of Old Saint.
This is like the...
I don't know the words.
What is it called?
St. Aynes.
Old St. Aynes?
We did a whole bit on this in the last New Year's.
Remember we're like...
What does it even mean?
I still don't know what it means.
Yeah, yeah, we don't know what it means.
It didn't hold.
It didn't retain.
It doesn't matter.
Maybe that should have been my New Year's resolution is to actually try to retain information.
I have a terrible.
You know what it's good about not retaining information?
It just frees your brain up from more information.
I don't know what that means.
I don't know.
Okay.
But happy New Year.
Happy New Year.
Happy New Year, everybody.
Happy New Year, everybody.
It's an arbitrary day.
Oliver, it's not, why do you keep saying everything's arbitrary?
It's not arbitrary.
It is.
But it was created for a reason.
The dinosaurs didn't have New Year's.
That's not the point.
Of course it is.
No, it's not.
No, it's not.
The dinosaurs didn't have a consciousness.
Uh-huh.
They didn't.
No, they didn't.
Dino consciousness.
Dino consciousness sounds great.
Whatever that is, I want some.
I want some dino consciousness.
I, um, no, it's not arbitrary.
It is actually a day.
Okay.
We don't have to go over this again.
You, I, it's potatoes, potatoes.
No, it's not, it's not potatoes.
It's not, it's not potatoes, it literally is a day for a reason.
If it's tomatoes, tomatoes, then, whatever.
Let's call the whole thing off.
Okay.
And goodbye.
God, you're in such a hurry.
I can't wait to be in the same room and do a podcast together.
It'll be really fun.
It's going to be so fun.
I know.
All right, happy New Year.
I will see you later.
We'll talk next New Year's.
