It was announced on June 29th during the 2025 world's oldest rodeo kickoff party for the events
volunteers and membership that $15.3 million in state appropriations will be redirected to the city
of Prescott Rodeo grounds including underground utilities, A to Compliance, Improved Seating,
and Sound. At the annual kickoff celebration were members, volunteers, staff, and leadership of Prescott
Frontier Days alongside local and state lawmakers, who collectively ensured the future of an Arizona
treasure. Those public dignitaries included Mark Finch M. R. Arizona State Senate, Kwong Wyn,
R. Arizona House of Representatives L.D.1, Selina Bliss, R. Arizona House of Representatives L.D.1,
and Supervisor Brooks Compton of Yavapai County. This is a great year for the world's oldest
rodeo and for the city of Prescott as we all work together to ensure the future of a treasured event
and Special Place, the Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo grounds.
Once again, thank you to Mayor Good and City Council, as well as Senator Mark Finchham,
Representatives Kwong Wyn, and Selena Bliss, and supervisor Brooks Compton.
I'd also like to thank Karen Fan, Johnny Kee Kefer, Greg Mangarelli, as well as our entire board,
Kimberly Lopez, President, Rex Hinshaw, Vice President, Neil Knabb, Secretary, Brett Mills,
Treasurer, Robbie Long, Arena Director, Suzy Davidson, Director, Mike Davidson, Director,
Jerry Watson, Director, and Steve Myers, Director. Most importantly, we need to recognize the hundreds
of tireless people who make the annual World's Oldest Rodeo happen, the volunteers, membership, and staff.
We couldn't make it happen without them, says Jim Dewey Brown, General Manager, World's Oldest Rodeo.
It's time to rodeo. The board would like to remind people to purchase their tickets from the
World's Oldest Rodeo website at. For information on 2025 World's Oldest Rodeo schedule,
