On Thursday, September 11th, at 7 p.m., the Highlands Center Amphitheater in Prescott
will host a live music event featuring three Arizona-based performers.
Located at 1375 South Walker Road, the outdoor venue offers a natural setting for an evening
of music under the stars. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online.
Eric Ramsey, recently inducted into the Arizona Blues Hall of Fame, leads the lineup.
Known for his strong slide guitar work and open tunings, Ramsey has earned recognition at events like the International Blues Challenge in Memphis and the Telluride Blues Challenge. He is a regular on the blues and folk music circuit and also teaches guitar workshops. Tom and Krista Augustino, long-time members of Prescott's folk music community, will also perform. Since moving from Los Angeles in 2003, they have played across Arizona and opened for a range of national folk acts. Tom is also the host of the folk sessions, a local radio
show and concert series that has been running for over two decades. Rounding out the evening is
Meg Borman, a singer-songwriter and music therapist based in Prescott. Borman performs with the
band Galactagogues and co-runs Third Road Theater with her husband. Her work blends music,
storytelling, and community engagement. The event is presented by the Folk Sessions, which has produced
concerts and radio programming in northern Arizona for over 20 years. Attendees are welcome to
arrive early and enjoy the surrounding area before the show begins. Don't miss out as these incredible
musicians come together under the stars and the beautiful setting of the Highlands Center Amphitheater.
Tickets are available at fluffs.com, and more information can be found at www.fokessions.com.
