Design work is complete, and construction is anticipated to commence in late January or February 2026, with an expected duration of approximately nine months. Funding for the project is provided through a state legislative appropriation secured with the support of the Central Yavapai Metropolitan Planning Organization as part of Arizona's Transportation Capital Program. Why it matters. Glassford Hill Road serves as a key

arterial link between SR-69 and SR-89A. Expanding the corridor will reduce traffic bottlenecks, improve multimodal access, and help safeguard mobility as the region grows.
