series of full moons closing out the year. The final three full moons of 2025 are not only
beautiful celestial events but also carry unique names, meanings, and significance, especially
this October's super moon. October 7th, the Hunter's Moon, Supermoon.
Kicking off the Lunar Trio is the Hunter's Moon, rising on October 7.
This isn't just any full moon. It's a super moon, meaning it will appear larger and brighter in the sky
due to its closer proximity to Earth. Historically, the hunter's moon signaled a time when people
would hunt and gather in preparation for winter. It will rise just after sunset and will be
particularly vivid against the crisp, early autumn sky. November 7th, the beaver moon,
brightest of the year. Next up is the beaver moon, which will shine its brightest on November
7th. This will be the brightest full moon of 2025, thanks to its perfect alignment and reflective
surface. Traditionally, the beaver moon marked the time when beavers became most active before
winter and when fur trappers would set their final traps. This full moon will offer brilliant
illumination, perfect for moonlit hikes or quiet reflection under the stars.
December 4th, the cold moon, final full moon of the year. The year's final full moon,
the cold moon, will appear on December 4th. Its name reflects the start of
