Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey everyone, April 21st, and this is Mondays with the mayor. Hopefully you all survived the snowstorm on Friday, and now we're back to spring weather here in Prescott Valley. Coming up, this Thursday, community-wide volunteer fair. We talked about this before. It's here at the Prescott Valley Civic Center from 11 to 2. So if you're interested in volunteering, come on down, check out all the great organizations that are showing up, and hear what they have to say and see where you might want to fit in. So again, this Thursday, 11 of 2, right here at the Civic Center.
Starting point is 00:00:30 We talked about it before, but it's a great. it is finally here this Saturday, badges and bobbers, down at Fane Park, head on down there. You get to fish with some first responders. You don't need a fishing license. Don't need a fish and pole. And you can just come on down. It's a free event, and there will be some food trucks, I think, down there, and you can buy some food if you want. But just make a morning of it, I guess, from 8 to noon.
Starting point is 00:00:52 Great opportunity. Head on down there and have some fun. So Fane Park, badges and bovers. Also this Saturday, down in Prescott Valley, pickleball torn up. at 1 to 6 p.m. So you can go badges and bobbers, then you can go hit pickleball, Animal Park, up by Coyote Springs. We have an upper division, a lower division, 55 plus division,
Starting point is 00:01:13 mixed doubles, registration, $40 a team, go to Press Galley Park's page and sign up. That's this Saturday for pickleball. Also, we'll be talking about this. May 10th is a VIP dance as well as adult prom. So if you're interested in bringing your little one to a dance, That's in the late morning, early afternoon. And then in the evening is the adult prom.

It has some great information about all the parks stuff that's going on, talking about all the things from softball tournaments, to cornhole tournaments to when the Mountain Valley Splash opens up, great opportunity to see what is happening here in Prescott.
