Hey, everyone, April 7th, and this is Monday's with the mayor.
Hope you had a great weekend, and this week is going to look like it's going to turn out to be an amazing weather week.
So let's just dive right into it.
Excuse me.
First off, Jasper Parkway, folks, the wait is over, and it is open.
So thank you, everyone, for your patience.
Thanks for staff for being able to bring it forward, and then for all the contractors that were involved in creating that road.
So again, Jasper Parkway is open.
What are we got?
We got dumped the drugs.
April 26, from 10 to 2.
Folks, if you have any prescription drugs at home, we don't want you to flush them down to toilet or throw them into garbage.
Just bring them down to the police department.
They dispose of them.
And it's just a safe way of doing that.
It's national prescription drug, take back campaign is sponsoring it.
So, again, Saturday, April 26, from 10 to 2, dumped the drugs.
We also have this Saturday, April 12th, from 11th.
the four is our spring fair.
Basically, bounce houses, food trucks, just tons of things to do for the kids.
Come on down, free event.
We will have some parking restrictions.
If you're not familiar with what that looks like, just go to our website and there is a map on there.
So again, this Saturday, from 11 to 4, April 12th is our spring fair.
We got bounce houses, photo booth, food trucks, pony rides, heading zoo.
It's going to be amazing.
So hope to see you this.
This month, we also have.
Badges and Bobbers, we've talked about it, free event, April 26th, and it's basically from 8 a.m. to noon, and you park up top near the Bowling Alley, there's a shuttle that goes down, you get to basically fish for free. You don't have a pole, we'll have some extra poles laying around. You don't need a fishing license, and you get to hang out with first responders, and again, there'll be food trucks, vendors, just go on, have a good time. April 26th, from 8 until noon, down at Bain Park. As a reminder, we're still just
doing our bulk trash voucher.
So give us a call, go on to our website,
click on a link. That's how you get your voucher
to be sent to your house, or you can come on down
to town hall and pick it up. Remember, you just pick
a two-week window, and then you can
dump up to $50 worth of trash.
So good way to do some spring training,
and it goes now,
between now and June 15.
What else we got?
We got community-wide volunteer fair.
Talked a little bit about this, but if you're looking
to help out in your community, you want to volunteer.
Come on down, Civic Center,
11 to 2 on April 24th.
We're going to have a ton of different organizations
here and kind of pick and choose, hear what they're all about,
and see if anyone fits into your wheelhouse
and if you want to volunteer.
So again, April 24th, 11 to 2.
And it's right down here at Town Hall.
What else we got?
That's about it.
Folks, are headed to the joke.
What time is it when the clock strikes 13?
Folks, it's time to get a new clock.
Hey, have a great week.
We'll see you out there.
